Update (3:43 AM): I originally gave a 5-star review after enjoying the meal at 05:30pm, but here I am, sipping lukewarm water with heartburn hours later. To be fair, I was under the weather and specifically craving hot ramen for comfort, so my immunity wasn’t at its best, and the dish had a lot of mushrooms. I’ve had bad experiences with mushrooms before, so I might have a sensitivity or mild allergy that could have contributed to the discomfort. The Dan-Dan Noodles with vegan broth and tofu had great flavor, but the noodles were quite sticky, not throughout but few in the bowl. This texture might have played a role in the discomfort, too. Overall, the service and taste were still good, but if you’re feeling a bit off or have a sensitive stomach, you might want to go for a lighter option. I’ll be back, but I’ll try something different next time.

Initially, I was hesitant to try Noodle Kitchen after seeing a mixed review about the vegan ramen. However, I called ahead, and Lucy at the host stand was very professional, encouraging me to give it a personal try instead of being deterred by one review. I'm glad I did!

My server, Gabriel, recommended a creative twist: Dan-Dan Noodles, removing the meat, adding tofu, and substituting the broth with vegan broth. It was delicious! Plus, I arrived during happy hour and enjoyed a $3 miso soup—what a great deal.

For my fellow vegetarians, don’t be put off by the one negative review. While I haven’t tried the exact vegan ramen mentioned, the Dan-Dan Noodles with vegan broth and tofu were a winner. I’ll be back this winter to explore more, though I might skip the pure vegan ramen for now.

Nice to have some dinner. The staff was very friendly and I loved the Dan Dan noodles. Even though it was nice food it was kinda spicy not so good for my stomach. But regardless I loved it especially because of the amount you also get. Lovely food. Great place and nice staff. (:

Large family group dined in after whitewater rafting. Food was average for quality and value and would have otherwise not warranted a review, except for a critical allergen mishap.

Be warned. The staff/menu is not food allergy literate/friendly. Despite having a specific conversation about allergens associated with imitation crab (egg and wheat = my Kryptonite) versus the advertised real blue crab noted on the sushi menu, the server was unaware that their crab roll relied on a mayo binder. It was only after I ate one piece and asked out of suspicious dread, that the server inquired and confirmed with the sushi chefs that the roll indeed included egg by way of mayo. Server claimed he "overthought it" and did apologize profusely. Manager seemed authentically apologetic and credited my items. Damage done. Day of vacay lost to the throes of a food reaction.

Brutal irony, Sidewinders is fun bar/grill/craft beer joint upstairs with limited patio seating that would have better suited our kiddo-heavy group, but we went for the "safer" allergen sushi route. D'oh! :)

For a place called noodle you would think their menu would primarily be noodle dishes but it is a sushi place. Had their pho. It was mid and over priced. Fits in with jackson pretty well. Also their drink menu is to complicated. Just wanted a simple mixed drink.

Noodle kitchen is a fantastic example of what happens when premium ingredients are given to a mediocre kitchen. Unfortunately for Noodle kitchen, this means that a meal with the potential to make them one of the best in town ends up leaving you wishing you'd just saved your money and bought cheap sushi instead.

Many of their rolls are not well put together and end up falling apart in your chopsticks and hands long before they make it to your mouth. For a restaurant that charges anywhere from 15-25 dollars for a roll, this is unacceptable, especially when considering I have never encountered this issue with other sushi restaurants of all levels of service in different parts of the US. I've been to Noodle kitchen multiple times in the hopes that this was a one-time experience, but it seems to be the only experience Noodle kitchen offers when it comes to their sushi. This might seem a harsh judgment on a restaurant with the name "Noodle Kitchen", implying sushi is not their focus, but their full name on their sign is "Noodle Kitchen: Sushi bar." With the confidence to put it on their sign, I'd certainly expect more, but it just falls short.

This is only made more disappointing by the fact that you are usually left hungry at the end of your meal due to the small portion sizes. In my last visit, I spent $90 dollars on sushi and one bowl of miso soup. I was left feeling so unsatisfied, I had to stop by the local grocer on my way home and buy a meal at their deli to finally feel full.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is definitely top notch with a water-wall behind the bar and a curved wall with warm accent lights by the entrance. The restaurant put well-spent effort in making diners feel like they're eating at an establishment with a penchant for quality.

To summarize, Noodle kitchen has all the individual parts that make a top-class restaurant the talk of the town. However, with staff in the kitchen falling short of the standard they're trying to meet, a meal here tends to leave you feeling you overpaid. With more qualified chefs and cooks that can better handle the premium ingredients the restaurant is buying, Noodle kitchen could become the restaurant they think they are, but until that happens, I would recommend ordering other items on their menu or simply eating somewhere else.

We tried this tonight based on other reviews, let me just say, save your money! Over priced sushi, honestly the grocery store serves better. I had the spider roll and it tasted so fishy I couldn’t even finish it! My husband had the white dragon and his was better than mine, but not great quality, tasted like canned tuna. $16 cocktails with a huge piece of ice, pull it out and the cup is 1/4 full. The edamame was fantastic, best part of our meal. Mongolian beef was so-so for $27, super small servings. I usually don’t leave reviews, but we were so disappointed for over $100, I wanted to save other people from wasting their money!

Way too expensive for the portions they give. Got the pho and unfortunately was the worst pho I've ever had... Absolutely no flavor at all, they don't give hoisin sauce or Sriracha, meat was in big chunks, over cooked and flavorless. Noodles weren't even the proper noodles for Pho.. it was literally plain linguine noodles. Definitely not worth $25.

Came in for dinner on a Saturday as part of a party of 4. We did not have reservations but were seated within 15 minutes of putting out names on the waitlist.

The vice of the restaurant is upscale chic, lots of dim lighting and lovely for date night.

The food here is absolutely amazing - every single thing we ordered was spot on and delicious. I have to especially call out the Dan-Dan noodles - the flavors on this dish were so on point. No regrets ordering this!

If you ignore the prices and small size of the entrees, the flavors are awesome. Highly suggest ordering the cucumber kimchi and bang bang shrimp - awesome flavors and way more quantity than expected. With that said, our main dishes, the Pad Thai (with literally 3 shrimp) and Mongolian beef were both tasty, but at $24 per plate, we expected a lot larger portions (and more shrimp, chicken and beef) and better presentation. $24 was simply insane for those portions. The drinks were equally delicious and overpriced. I didn’t add it into the rating, but they were also completely out of “sushi rice” so the sushi menu was unavailable. Another bummer, at first, but once we looked at the prices of such unavailable sushi, we weren’t interested.

I came in with a small group of friends and my fiancé in October and it was the worst experience to top off such a great trip.
1: the staff ignored us to the point multiple tables had food long before we did in addition to having ordered while we sat there for nearly 30 minutes waiting to order.
2: the staff refused to accommodate one of my friends with stomach issues and refused to allow her to order a smaller portion.
3: prices went up to an INSANE point. It felt like robbery at the end of our meal when we were nearly charged for 2 items we didn't order in addition to a mandatory gratuity that was not adjusted after our bill was "fixed".
4: there was a literal metal dish sponge peice in my food. I pulled it out of my mouth mid bite. Yuck. The waitesss did not apologize, gave me a half of a replacement dish in a to go box and was rude as ever.
I had been coming here for years. And I will not be back.

Food was good. Service was good. But was told at the end when the check showed up that they could not split the bill per party. They only can give one bill and swipe one card or split the bill evenly with multiple cards. So if you come with friends. Be prepared to have one bill. Crazy why they can not have multiple bills for a party larger than 6.

Sushi Experience №69

Worst, bland and overpriced meal I’ve ever had. Where people who are scared of ethnic food go when they’re feeling ‘adventurous’ and don’t like flavor. Eaten here 1-2 times over the many years and was neutral, but was shocked at how down hill it has gone. All our favorite restaurants like Baap and Thai Plate were closed for the off season and since our kids love Asian food we thought we’d give it try…boy were we sorry we did. Only reason for the second star was that our server was very kind, as was the bartender. Nothing wrong with service but absolutely terrible food, have had better hospital or airplane food.

Sushi was joke and the price was astounding for the heap of soggy rice loosely rolled 2inches think around a tiny piece of fish. The rolls immediately fell apart into a sad heap like a toddler was given a sushi making kit for their birthday. Some of the sushi rolls we had ordered were $24+ and inedible mounds of mush.

Miso ramen was about as flavorful as drinking the water after you wash rice. Unseasoned unsalted vegetable broth, over cooked and stuck together ‘noodles’, uncooked and unseasoned tofu, garnished with green onions. No hot sauce or seasoning options on the table to help. Ended up adding half a bottle of soy sauce to have some warm salty broth to drink.

Kids menu noodle bowls that said they came with miso broth came out with dry noodles and questionable meat. Also got charged $16 ea. when menu said $10 (did not add anything extra). Server said he messed up and apologized profusely and corrected, but we already had serious sticker shock when we got our bill.

Only reasonable item in our entire meal was the edamame (really hard to screw up steaming a vegetable) and potstickers which were so far from authentic, but also hard to screw up frozen filo-dough type potstickers doused in sweet sauce.

We also showed up at 30min after they opened and were the first booth seated and the seats were sticky and windows covered in greasy hand prints and splattered food, yuck. I know staffing is hard in this town and off-season even more difficult but this place felt like a floundering establishment charging exuberant prices just to stay open. Joe Rice should cut this one as a loss and continue focusing on his more successful All-American restaurant upstairs.

I literally just had one spoonful and could not eat it. It was literally 8 ounces of OIL and the pork was all fat (see picture) it was not edible it came with noodles on the side but I didn't even add them because I wasn't going to eat the Ramen anyway. First drink order took 25 minutes, second order took 35 minutes and the bar was not that busy. The poor bartender was struggling to open bottles and was distracted by all of the conversations at the bar. The food took forever to arrive, but once it did arrive, spaced out about 15-20 minutes between entrées arriving for each in our party of six, the food was very good. This place is clearly understaffed, but then manage that and don’t accept so many reservations. We are local, and we felt terrible for some of the tourist who had small children and had yet to see any food after being seated for nearly two hours. There are at least a dozen places in Jackson with faster service and food on par with here. Sushi is great, but do not arrive thirsty or hungry, allow it to happen while you wait.

This experience was nothing short of painful and punishing. My Mongolian beef and rice took ages to come out, and as someone living off of welfare, I wish my wallet, bowels, and patience would’ve been warned of the damage to come with this establishment. The food was extremely expensive, and so was the medical bill that I had to deal with after all hell broke loose in my intestines. my wallet was not ready for this, and it was a very damaging financial situation for me. Not to mention the physical pain that I had to endure. My bathroom experience was simply put: Hell on earth. through the wee hours of the night in into the morning, I was on the toilet with unbearable pain. it was the Mongolian beef, because I could smell it in the toilet. it was the most painful night of my life and I would never wish it on my worst enemy. eventually I had to go to the emergency room. Not a fun night, would not recommend this place.

I recently attended this establishment with three compatriots. Maybe we are at fault for expecting quality Japanese food in Wyoming, but I digress…

The food can only be described as painfully average. At first I concluded that the high altitude must be to blame for the egregious lack of flavor in my ramen, but the distasteful service and ungodly prices proved once and for all that Noodle might just have been the worst Japanese food to ever touch my tongue.

I got the spicy tuna don and suffered dire consequences. The raw meat made for an unpleasant bathroom experience at night time that involved uncontrollable shrieking, screaming, and wailing. The food tastes alright going in but feels bad coming out. Since my visit, there has been an uncontrollable odor emerging from my round rump. Not to mention the Shirley Temple that my friend ordered without warning that it was going to be charged as an alcoholic beverage even though it was only mixed sprite and cherry and was charged $10 for it. This is a robbery and I will NOT stand for this type of lucrative business and miserable side effects of the raw tuna meat. I will not be returning here on my next trip to Jackson‘s hole.

This place was awful! Expensive food, small portions. My friend got ramen, which was decent (at best). However, the teriyaki beef tasted like mud.

The food isn’t my main reason for giving 1 star. The staff was rude and difficult. They charged me $10 for a SHIRLEY TEMPLE. A sprite and cherry drink - $10! No alcohol, no refills. When asking why $10, my non-english speaking waitress shrugged and said “it’s a nice restaurant”. That isn’t a valid excuse for me. Wasn’t able to leave a tip for this joke of a restaurant.

Delicious. Very very good.
6:45 reservation on a Saturday night. Seated almost immediately. Appetizer, (edamame), arrived within 5-10 min while looking over the entrees.
Ordered a house special and a noodle dish. Waitress said they'd be ready in about 15 min. I didn't time it but it felt right. And both meals taste wonderful!
We've been here 45 min and have had really enjoyed it.

It's pretty rare that I give a bad review, but tonight's dinner experience was frustrating. After reading the reviews for Noodle Kitchen (and loving Asian cuisine), we were pretty excited to give it a try. Upon arriving, we were asked if we had a reservation - it's very low season in Jackson right now, so we honestly didn't think we'd need one. We had hoped there may be a place we could sit while we waited, but there was only a table outside (which is very cold in November). The hostess was nice though and said she'd try to get us seated within about 15-20 minutes. After waiting for 30 minutes, we were seated and then waited at least another 10 minutes to get waters. By the time our server arrived, we were ready to order. We promptly put in our orders, only to wait almost 60 minutes for our food to come. We talked about leaving at the 40 minute mark, as we hadn't seen our server from the time she brought our initial waters to us. When she did come, we asked if our food was close to being finished, and were told it was normal for the food to take about an hour for preparation and was dismissive in listening to our concern. The silver lining was that when the food finally arrived, it was delicious. The mongolian beef and the pad thai were really good. At the end of our meal, we asked for the check and upon promptly bringing our cards back, apologies were given but we were again told that it was normal for food to take around an hour to be served (as if we had asked). As a server, you should never make excuses for a poor experience. Simply apologize, and try to make it right. Bring drinks for the table, an appetizer, or send a manager over. We likely won't be back, and would strongly suggest reservations to anyone going to the restaurant (whether in busy or slow season) if you want to have a timely meal.

Happy hour with Machin the Polish bartender was awesome. Get one of their specialty drinks all good. Dennis the menace manager man is a delight and the rest of the crew extremely attentive. BTW the sushi is over the top. Get a res then sit at the bar for half off apps and drinks, then head to a table for the feast.

Just left here. Was excited to eat here a second time but didn't even get the chance. We were told it would be an hour wait by an older bald man. That's fine. The older man disappeared for a couple minutes and when a new hostess came up to us, we explained the situation and she offered to sit us at the sushi bar immediately. We said yes and she was setting it up for us. Old man came back over (watched him "shoo" a customer who had a question away though before he got back) and asked for our name to put on the list. We explained the situation and he responded with "that's not what I asked. What's your name? Joe Bob John? What?" Gave our name and then asked if he heard what we just said though. He proceeded to get inches from my boyfriends face without a mask and say "No I can't hear you, you have a freaking mask on for God's sake." Walked out after that one.

The name is completely misleading. We went hoping to find something like Chinese noodle soup, Pho, etc. Their noodle selection was very poor but they did have a lot of sushi options.

We ended up having the pot stickers which were flavorful but the skins were a little to chewy. My wife had the Yakisoba and I had Ramen. As a whole the meal and the service was fine but not worth the $65 we paid for it.

Ramen Noodles are angel hair spaghetti's clumped overcooked and the beef broth is way too far from ramen I almost cried eating. It's a waste of money. It sucks! If there's minus 10 I'll give it a go.

It was okay. Service was slow, especially the bartender. Dan Dan noodles had good flavor but the meat (beef) was tough and chewy. Noodles were stuck together in a glob. Quite a time lapse between dishes coming to the table per customer. Our dinner companions were served about 10 minutes before us, one ticket, ordered at the same time. Always makes things a bit awkward. I would go back to try another dish however, maybe was just an off night. .

I know they try, but still not worth going here. Got stir fried rice with tofu. The tofu diced cold, fresh out of pack. Not grill, sauteed or seasoned. I ordered Beef Noodle soup. When I got the order home, saw that they messed up my order, gave me beef stir fry. Wrong. My wife's ramen soup unflavorful. No seasoning.
Only order that was "Okay", was chicken fried rice. Wouldn't go back.

Not much on the menu for vegans, so I ordered a Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, no chicken. Waitress brought it with chicken. Told her I didn't want chicken on it. She said that I should have ordered it without the chicken. She took it back to fix. Brought it back with the larger pieces picked off. Took it back again, to make a fresh one.

Three stars because service was great. Food not so much. Beef Ramen was definitely not what I’m used to, California Rolls were not made right. Switched it to the fried rice because who can mess up fried rice? Well y’all did it was too salty and there was broccoli scattered all over and everyone knows there is no broccoli in fried rice.

Big portions, great vibe and friendly staff

We ordered Dan Dan noodles and it was WAYYYYY too sweet. Couldn’t really tell what the point of the dish was... just seemed like a bunch of stuff mixed together that did not end up coming together... it was a 1/5

Also ordered the chicken fried rice... they forgot the egg, little to no flavor (no seasoning or soy sauce) and to make matters worse the rice was dry and stale. fried rice is made with leftover rice, not last months rice

My husband and I are super disappointed. We ordered 2 appetizers... one was delivered with the meal and the miso soup (appetizer) was forgotten then when asked for it the tofu in it was cold. The beer my husband ordered was later unavailable after it was ordered so he changed his drink order. The table next to us waa seated after us and received more attention from the staff and had their food delivered before us.

Poor service, cold forgotten food, and a hefty price tag. Came hungry left hungry.

Also not kid friendly. They played the song "it wasn't me" by shaggy. If you have heard this song it is obvious why this would make this restaurant not kid friendly.

There are much better dining options in Jackson Hole. I ordered the ramen: noodles were over cooked, broth was weak, and pork belly was so tough it was leathery. Think ramen from a a packet would have been comparable.

I also ordered the hamachi sashimi, both the 2 piece and the 8 piece - pretty sure it was the same amount of yellowtail both times, just sliced into super thin slices for the 8-piece. Bit shady, since the 8-piece costs way more.

We only had 3 days in Jackson - in retrospect, would definitely have spent the evening at Noodle Kitchen somewhere else.

The food was amazing! We were craving Thai, and this sealed the deal. The Thai curry chicken was the best I’ve had and the chicken yakisoba was delicious!! Even more, the bar tender Micin, provided such great service and recommendations. There is a wine store conveniently attached where we bought wine to go with our to go cheese cake, which was amazing as well!! This is a must while here in Jackson hole!

We walked into the almost empty Noodle Kitchen restaurant this afternoon at 5:30 pm with exception to the bar. The male host was curt and quite rude upon our arrival as we did not have reservations and thus informed we could return at 6:45 for dinner. No thanks. We came in for our two year anniversary -the food and cocktails are great, especially the sushi!
The restaurant was far from busy, and being a waitress myself for a period of time the service was horrible.
The waitress was sweet but neglected our table when we were there first before others. Two tables got their food and drinks before we did. She did end up comping one of the sushi rolls because of the wait and I believe she also just forgot to put the order in.
The bussing is also pretty awful, seems the staff is too lax for the price you pay to come to a nice restaurant like this.

Terrible service just wow. Dirty table given to us had to complain. Kids food took more than 30 mins to prepare on top of which they had the audacity to give attitude that we have to wait because the cook is busy (the place was literally empty). If my kids were not starving at this point I would have walked out. Avoid this place

Honestly, the food is not worth the price or the length of the wait to get it. We ordered the Pad Thai, which was clearly all cooked separately as there was little flavor, and the flavors it did have were different for every item. The chicken was overcooked, carrots undercooked, and way too many leafy greens.

Sushi was decent, so I feel obligated to leave 2 stars....

Highly disappointed.

The Miso soup is a good starter if you like soup! Also the Calamari isn't bad. We had sushi - the California roll and the tempura shrimp - and personally I like a lot LESS rice on my sushi. It just seems like a mouthful of rice. However it's a beautiful restaurant and comfortable atmosphere. FYI I've not had a lot of the noodles. Some vegitarian options.
