Great food. Good staff. And it's possible to get seed oil free food considering it's just raw fish and rice. There's a chance the seaweed they use contains seed oils, but so long as you don't deep fry it, I'd consider this food to be actually healthy. Just avoid the mimic crab stuff like what they put in the California rolls.

The staff are very friendly and fast on their feet. I have had really good service every visit.

My favorite part of this location is going in on Thursday. There is a very talented musician who plays electric acoustic and sings. The atmosphere is energetic and fun. It's our favorite night to go to this place.

We love QQ! Laid back vibe with the nicest servers. Sushi chefs are up front so you can watch them craft their masterpieces. The food presentation is always beautiful and is served quickly. I always ask for the salmon to be uncooked on the Seared Salmon Salad, and they don’t bat an eye.

Bonus: sometimes they have live music on weekend evenings!

Hands down recommend this place just for the service! I didn’t even come here for the sushi, but next time I will. I got the Korean bbq bento box flavor 9/10, fried and grilled potstickers 10/10, and the wonton soup 9/10. Flavors were amazing and the atmosphere was very chill at lunch, would love to come back in the evening with a date. (Plus for guys: big screen sports tv x2). They were even willing to make a substitute on the bento for me because I don’t eat California rolls. Highly recommend this place!

This place is amazingly good for a place next to a Subway! All of the staff are so very friendly and helpful! I don’t know what they put in their Fried California sushi rolls, but they are actually amazing. I physically cannot express how delightful these things are. Atmosphere is always so friendly and warm. Their drink choices are also great.

I’ve been dining here for the last 10 years. I recommend this place any time someone wants sushi. The portion sizes are the biggest in town. You actually get what you pay for, for $10-15 a roll. Everywhere else in town gives about half as much fish in any given roll. I’ve tried every single roll on the menu over the years and my favorites are the Pearl and Fresh. If you want some value rolls, their hand rolls are awesome. I ate here years before during and after their health inspection fiasco from some immature employee that was immediately removed. I have spent thousands of dollars here and never once had an issue with food quality. I’ve had sushi in Hawaii, Seattle, all up and down California and the coast. If this place ever goes out of business I’ll probably never eat sushi again because nothing compares.

We were three generations. Youngest 2 and 11 mo. My 2 yr old grandson was trying to learn chopsticks. A plate got broken. They were so gracious and accommodating. We love going there. Special place

Food was good, service was excellent, however, they charged me a 18% gratuity for a party of 5 adults and one 4 year old child, a child that did not order anything and ate the white rice of my plate, they counted us as a party of 6 and forced me to pay 18% gratuity, completely unacceptable, I had no problem leaving a tip, but being forced to, and being treated as a large party just felt wrong.

No i did not see any sign or information indicating we would be charged a 18% gratuity, when I asked about it I was told its on the menu, as if I should have read the contract menu before ordering... and the waitress never mentioned it at anytime, although she did ask if all the kids were mine...

I want to reiterate the food was good, and the service was excellent!

Manager called me up and apologized for the misunderstanding so I upgraded my review.

I had one of the best meals I've had in a long time along with the absolute best service I've ever had!

To give you some perspective, I had a friend rave about Sashimi and I wanted to try some for the first time. My waitress (Cady) said that she personally preferred Nigiri but it's just a preference and that some people don't like the rice with it. I decided to go with Nigiri thinking that having the rice as a buffer would be a great first step to having just the fish. I ordered the Sushi Dinner which was 6 chef's choice pieces of Nigiri and a crab stick roll. Cady took the time to explain to me which fish was which and what I should expect, she also offered several sauces on the side to enhance the experience. I feel like I ate this much faster than I should have but I took the time to taste and chew each bite so I knew what I like for the future. The food was fresh, tasty, and luxurious on my tongue. I even ordered another 2 pieces of what I liked the most (which happened to also be her favorite).

Very rarely have I ever experienced such fantastic service helping me along my journey and even teaching me about the fish. Having wait staff help, explain, and talk to me about their own experience is a delight that I have had only one other time. Cady made my experience 100 times better than it could have been had I had someone who didn't care to connect with their customer and have a conversation. Bravo QQ, and bravo Cady!!

Called in an order, went to pick it up. White girl with curly long brown hair took my card. Walked into the back... (with my card). Came back out and handed me my card and the receipt for signature. She then tossed my food at me and grabbed my receipt. I asked for it and she stated," You can take them both. We don't need it if there is no tip!" HOW RUDE. I am the person who will tip at least 20% if you have served my table. If I'm picking up a to go order, I generally don't tip. I'm so sick of having people attempt to shame me if I don't tip. If you have put food in a container and THROWN IT AT ME....I'm not going to tip you. Enough said.

I was in a bit of a sour mood when I came in, but left in a much better state. I had amazing oysters and some of the best unagi ever - - in SPOKANE. Shocking. And the presentation was spectacular. Good service too. Why this place isn’t packed all the time is a mystery. But it means it’s easier to get a table so that makes me happy!

Not great by any standards. Fried California Roll was good. "Lobster sushi" was an absolute joke. You can get better at The Wave of all places. As disappointing as Sushi House on Trent. Spokane has soo much better than this. Glad I tried it. Probably not going to again. Especially now that Umi opened a spot in the Northside

Ordered from uber eats. Took about 35 minutes from order to delivery. Got the food and it looked like it was sitting out for hours. It's sushi, a big no go for me. The rice looked and felt to touch like it was drying out, the ginger strips were dry, and the raw fish looked like it had a sweaty day, definitely was just sitting there for hours then served.

Honestly some of the best food in Spokane. The jalapeño lime ponzu sauce is incredibly tasty and a big hit. The food presentation is also spectacular!

If you were to have the same dishes at a hyper expensive 5 start restaurant, nobody would question it. Definitely worth the drive up to north Spokane.

I have come here a couple times before and it was really good. Came here tonight and because I came by myself and there was a group of 10 or so before me I got completely ignored. I got told to "sit wherever it's clean" so I sat myself down at a table that was far from clean. And proceeded to sit there for 15 minutes without anyone even coming up to me asking if I wanted water or a menu. Terrible experience will never be back if you try and go here by yourself you will be completely ignored and acted as though you don't even exist. Terrible customer service and apparently understaffed if you can't even acknowledge your paying customers.

Also they changed the sushi saute which was my second favorite. I still go for the fresh sushi though but my friends and I would go alot more if the chicken curry rolls were back!!!! I dream of eating QQ every day. Rainbow Roll is to die for. It’s basically a line item on my budget for life. And, OMG. I ordered the Las Vegas Roll recently and the Dragon Roll both blew me away.

We love sushi and have had it all over the United States. QQ suffers from the same issue as a lot of new places do, it is not focused on sushi, it's a fusion restaurant with a lot of random offerings.

We sampled the Rock'n, the Black Jack, Miso Soup, and Octopus and Blue Fin Toro sashimi.

The Miso was good, that was the high point.

The Rock'n is Yellowtail with avocado interior with spicy scallops on top. The presentation is messy. Instead of chopped scallops being neatly placed on the roll its whole small scallops haphazardly poured on top and the entire roll is drenched in the spicy sauce. There are far too many scallops and the roll itself is small. The rice was underdone and gummy. The only grace for this roll was the yellowtail was of decent quality.

The BlackJack is purely imitation crab on the inside which is a big miss for texture, especially considering the rice was once again gummy and underdone. The Yellowtail on top of this offering was tough and stringy.

The Ocotopus when sampled without any helpers such as soy and lemon had a bitter hit right on the the bite instead of what should be a salty, with a hint of sweet. The texture was okay, but the serving was not nearly cold enough. Octopus Sashimi is normally so cold it almost seems frozen at first.

The Blue Fin Toro was a healthy serving of three very thick slices. That was quickly overshadowed by a heavy fish taste both on the bite and then worsening on the back of the tongue. The texture was decent but once again it was pushing room temperature just like the Octopus.

Overall if it wasn't for the super friendly and attentive staff I would have given 1 out of 5 for this review.

4 waitresses all wearing sweats just standing in front of the only bathroom talking to eachother…. Ordered no sauce on top of a roll and it came drenched. Couldn’t do anything about it since they just stood by the kitchen talking or running outside to talk to their friends in cars. Its SO hard to find a sushi place that can stand up to Jimmy Sushi in AK but this one is definitely up there close.

Too many sushi places can't make edible sushi (not once you've had Jimmy's...) their usually either too dry or bland for our tastes, but, this one knows how to roll them out right and use the sauces to enhance them just like Jimmy.

We can't speak to the dining atmosphere as they were doing orders to go because of Covid-19. But, as far as I'm concerned, I think we'll continue to order from here.

Tried giving this place a chance after seeing them on the news for poor kitchen standards. I have to say I was not impressed. Customer service was poor. Service seemed rushed and it was not busy dine in wise.
My order came 5 mins after ordering. One of my food items was cold. But the worst part about it, the food made me sick! Thinking now I should have called the health department sparing others of food poisoning.

Customer service was rude. Food was dry. They forgot part of our order then refused to refund my card for that. They said I had to drive all the way back. I have a 2 year old. Too much work getting him in and out of the car. So that wasn't an option. They were rude and dismissive when talking to me. I wouldn't eat there again.

Unfortunately QQ Sushi isn't what it used to be. The rice in the sushi rolls tasted tart, as if too much rice vinegar was added. The seaweed was chewy. You pay for extra sauce. Not worth the money.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews but I’m not really sure how this place has almost 5 stars.

I did an order through door dash and got a bento box. Everything was very bland. The egg flower soup tasted like watered down chicken broth and resembled nothing like actual egg drop soup. The chicken teriyaki had hardly any chicken and was breaded - then doused in teriyaki sauce so it was soggy. Gross.

I recently dined here after few years and it was not as good. The ingredients were NOT very fresh or good quality.

Portions are smaller than what it used to be but the price is very affordable. No more fresh flowers anymore! 😅The picture with flowers is for the past visits. They hand you the straw with bare hands and not in the middle of napkins or something!

Used to love QQ. Something has changed! Our most recent take out order of miso udon was so salty we couldn’t finish it. I called and let the waitress know but no refund or new food offered. I agree with others overpriced! The sushi seemed ok. Did the ownership change? We were regulars and we not going back.

Fantastic service!! They were shortstaffed on a Saturday night and Sarah was so sweet and moving as fast as she could. We expected a super long wait (as there were food delivery drivers out the door) but we got our food pretty quickly with absolutely no mistakes.

Delicious food!! We had three sushi rolls and 2 starters and they all tasted so fresh and perfectly prepared. Can't recommend QQ enough.

This is by far the worst place I have eaten. I ordered 3 different entrees and appetizers. The sweet and sour chicken was so chewy I couldn't eat it. The cashew chicken had no chicken in it and my cheese wonton were so chewy you couldn't eat. I am quite disappointed after nearly a 100 dollar bill.

This place used to be so good. Now it is just mediocre and over priced. The teriyaki beef dinner bento is now 24$ and it doesn’t come with tempura anymore. It was over cooked and underwhelming. I used to be a weekly customer. Now I won’t be coming back.

We ordered four different rolls and all of them had something weird about them. The Bruce lee is a roll I have gotten many times before but both ate one piece and had to spit it out. All the rolls fell apart or were not cut through. The staff was nice but the food was not good at all. We will not be going back. Within an hour of being home both of our stomachs are hurting.

I am a doordasher. I went to this restaurant to pick up an order. When I got there, it took the people working at the restraunt about 10 minutes to even acknowledge my existence. When they did finally ask me who I was picking up for, and I told them, (the food was a good 10 minutes late at this point,) they said it hadn't even been entered into the system yet. I will not be coming back, as a doordasher or a customer. I lost money because of this restaurant's lazy staff.

The bento box I got was supposed to be beef teriyaki but instead it was all fat. As you can see by the picture. Over half the beef was just fat: it wasn’t even cut all the alway through either. Called to tell them and they put me on hold and never came back to the phone. I won’t be eating here again

The girl with the bad BBL was our waitress. She did not ever give me my drink and still tried charging me for it, and cut my boyfriend and I both off during ordering. Her friends were sitting at the table behind us and she kept sitting down and chatting instead of attending to her tables. She was upset with how close to closing it was and we were still there, however it took awhile to get our orders taken and the sushi was warm when it finally came; she also brought me the wrong dish.

Waitress kept pulling her mask all the way down and seemed more interested in her phone then getting us drinks and checking in even though we were the only ones there. Food was good but won't be back.

I love qq and have always ordered online and had it delivered. Good food. I will continue to order online though because when my father called today to place an order for pickup and had some questions, the lady who answered was super rude!!! Gonna order somewhere else today. I’ll still give five stars because there is nothing wrong with the food. Maybe the lady who answered the phone was having a bad day, but I will never call them again! Eating somewhere else today :)

Discovered this place via Google reviews.
This place had great reviews and good pictures of the food. We decided to try it out for the night and were amazingly surprised by how good it was!
The service was fast, friendly, and outstanding overall.
This place seemed like your everyday sushi place but to me it was much more than meets the eye!
They put some nice spins on classics and the flavor is powerful in every roll we ordered.
The fried calamari was very tasty and crunchy!
The baked sushi's even add an element of surprise.
Loved this place and will definitely be going back!

Food was decent and it was fast. Unfortunately this was not enough because of the terrible wait staff. These ladies performed very unhygienic acts, touching hair wearing inappropriate clothing and then gathering near food making without masks on. Washington state law states employees need to wear masks. Bathroom was back in building you had to walk through kitchen to get to. A long list of strange and very unsanitary things that will not bring me back sadly.

I would give half a star if I could. Our experiences all 10+ times have gone from bad to worse. I kept giving it a try bc we like the food.. but the poor customer service and rude attitudes even when they make mistakes is not cool. We won’t be back. :-/

DO NOT ORDER THE BEEF TERIYAKI. the sushi was the most amazing sushi I've ever had, the edamame amazing, the shrimp tempura and egg flower soup were all very good. However the beef teriyaki was the worst I've ever had, the meat was not tender and there was no flavor it was almost watered down tasting. Very disappointing since I paid so much for it (22$) but I will definitely be back for the sushi!!! Also service was awful :/ lady took 15 minutes for the check, didn't check in a ton, and was unprofessional but the sushi is good so I'll still be back.

One of the best sushi places in Spokane, hands down. They recently remodeled their inside to accommodate more people. Prices are on par with most sushi places, but their service is above and beyond. They also have great lunch and dinner bento box options from their kitchen. Best calamari I've had in a long time, too!

Used to go here at least once a week because it was great sushi at an affordable price. Last time I went in there, EVERYTHING doubled in price. I understand prices are going up, but 100%??!! Guess we won't be going there as much, or at all.

You can't beat the sashimi pieces here! We also had the General Tsao's dinner bento and the size for the value was awesome! Calamari was perfect not too chewy and good size pieces. The jalapeno ponzu was rediculously good even for my mild palette. The Aloha roll was yummy and filling. The miso was decent and I also enjoyed the truffle edamame!

If you’re looking for a place with even decent customer service this is not the place. We went the 26 of April and were not greeted at the door even though all 5 of the women saw us and just ignored us when we were finally asked if we were dining in or Togo the woman rolled her eyes and sighed saying “oh” when we told her we were dining in this is the same girl who would just take off her mask and walk around the restaurant. the wait staff just huddled and spoke to one another the whole time. The lady serving us completely forgot about us (even though we were her only table) and we didn’t get the check for 15 minutes. The food was not good and the chicken was extremely under done. EDIT: I recently found out they were shut down by the health department for prepping meat on the ground.. please don’t go here :(

Pretty good food, I was excited to find a decent sushi restaurant. Biggest Bento box I've ever seen, the wife and ordered one each and could easily have split one. Very pleased to find shrimp in the tempura medley, not just vegetables. Good price on beer and beverages.
Read the negative reviews and I have to agree that the cleanliness needs improvement, restrooms were quite dirty. Hope the owner will make some changes.

The Miso soup excellent and the sushi was amazing the display of it beautiful the taste is amazing. The staff very good and efficient..I only live 5 minutes away and have never tried this is excellent food and will be back again.

I have been a loving fan of QQs for years but had a horrible experience today. We tried calling yesterday and their phones were not working so I went in today to put an order in and wait. I stood in their lobby for 15 minutes and not one of the employees said a word or made eye contact with the people in line. I get it they were busy but then they answered the phone to take a phone order. I walked out and so did 3 other people. I will no longer be going here if they want to treat their customers like that and I hope they learn if they continue to do this they will be losing a lot more as these things add up everyday.

Sushi roll had a bone. Sushi rice was over cooked to be a mushy porridge. Poki salad had a spicy ponzu instead of the regular ponzu described on menu and was too spicy for me to eat. I love wasabi spice but hate jalapeños and that’s the base of their spicy ponzu.

Just LOVE QQ’s. The folks that work there are just wonderful. They take such good care of us every time we go there. You cannot go wrong with QQ’s.
The size of the slices of fish are hands down theeeee best size slices you have ever seen.

Very disappointed called to order and the lady sighed. we were placed on hold and after 6 min hung up on. when we called back we were told we had to wait cause there were people ahead of us... so placed on hold for another 4 min to be hung up on again ... the customer service was horrible. would not recommend to try and order food.

We got a takeout order for the first time a few weeks ago...I cannot believe we hadn’t been here before! The rolls were delicious and the portions were generous. Food was done 20 minutes after I placed the order. My only critique is that one of the rolls seemed to fall apart easily and made for messy eating, but that was likely because of the amount of sauce on it. I am excited to have such an awesome and affordable sushi place near my house.

QQ Sushi is the best place to get Salmon sushi/Salmon rolls. I’ve been to Boise, Jupiter FL, Fairfax VA, and Port St.Lucie Fl at 15+ Sushi restaurants total and I can definitively say that QQ has somehow found a way to produce the best Salmon Nigiri and Salmon roll I’ve had. Can’t speak to other sushi options, but the Salmon is superior in flavor and volume to every other Sushi restaurant I’ve had, would recommend 10/10.

QQ sushi now is very bad service and foods. I ordered sushi when I got home not have wasabi and ginger. I had bad experience before too but I thought they’re change but they didn’t. They’re always forgot my order and always missing my foods and I called them back isn’t nothing and just said sorry. I gave up I never come back again. I feel sorry for owner. He is nice guys.

Super Disappointed! I have have takeout twice since they reopened this summer. Food and service was very good the first time. The second time food was good, however with 6 rolls, i was given one dollup of wasabi, two packets of soy sauce and no napkins. Decided to try again tonight. Ordered online using thier menu on the website. Told me it would be 45 minutes. Waited outside and order was ready in 60 minutes. Prices were much higher than online menu. Totally inflexible and not willing to honor their online menu prices. So, there is a large order of not so fresh sushi available at a discount, and I am having some delicious Sushi House tonight. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE OVERALL!

I placed an order for California rolls and crunchy rolls...while they were tasty, I felt the rolls were to full/fat, as they fell apart when using chopsticks, there is approximately an inch gap where the seaweed does not meet. The tail end of the crunchy roll is huge and difficult to eat. This is why I gave QQ sushi a rating of 3 stars.
To achieve a 4+ star rating...Sushi rolls should be a mouthful and eaten with chopsticks.

It is with sadness and disappointment I write this. I have given then a much higher review in the past and now must change it. We have been coming here since it opened and it has been out go to sushi place regardless of wait,o being crowded or social media reports on questionable sanitation and food safety. Tonight is our second bad experience with QQ. We generally order 2 rolls and a side to split. Tonight we ordered pot stickers as we have before. No question the are not the same. Size is drastically different and quality is not even close. Pretty sure these are now pre made frozen pot stickers/won tons. The rolls were put together well but were basically the same. Large amount of cream cheese and shredded crab in both which unfortunately over powered any flavors from the other ingredients; asparagus, cucumber, tuna, shrimp, nori etc. In times past I have really enjoyed the roe on top of the rolls. Neither roll had any which is still listed on their menu as being topped with. Overall as financial matters have changed for us all, the price has increased, which I would be fine with, if the quality stayed the same or better. I have had equal quality sushi from Ace Sushi, which you can find in many local grocery stores. Sadly we won't be coming back and are now looking for our new sushi spot.

Super disappointed with reopening. Ordered food on Mother's Day. You would think they would take a little extra care. I was placed on hold - forgotten about while the girl left me on hold and was singing. Called back and placed order. During the COVID - you would think they would take extra care with take out orders. Did not get any utensils for TAKE OUT!!! No soy sauce for sushi??? No napkins. Was not impressed at all and probably will not be back !

Great food no complaints. The cleanliness could have been much better. Attached is a picture of the bathroom and that says all you need to know about that. A friend needed a new fork because there was visible food from the last user and as someone who's worked in a restaurant if you can see grime on the silverware you know there are problems. Silverware is one of the things that the most people see the dish washer, the waiting staff and the host often all see it before the customer.

Normally this place is amazing. And worth the money and time traveling to it. But sadly they just kept messing things up. My mom’s order was completely different from what she wanted. And I only got the appetizer for my order. And was left there sitting waiting for a long. Because we were constantly being ignored by our waitress. Finally after a 45 minute wait I was told the main meal was never going to come. I ended up eating somewhere else. I understand the dinner rush is very busy. And things can go a bit differently than planned. We’re not coming back.

Yummy sushi. My wife gets her sushi fix here. The prices aren't cheap, but they are fair. My wife usually gets takeout, but we had a sit down meal there recently. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only negative was that my cashew chicken came long before my wife's sushi order. The food is gorgeous, and the place is always busy.
