Japanese Hibachi, Seafood and Sushi Restaurant. We can serve any size of group customers, and any type of party. Birthday parties, Wedding receptions, company parties, you name it we can host it. Please consider Shogun as your hosting location and leave all the worry to us. We would be honored to serve you!
The food, service and Chef Travis were all exceptional! Travis was very entertaining and the children (ages 5 to 18) loved him as well. The NEW facility is very spacious and accommodating. Has a separate area - “Samurai Room” for large family reservations and a stage for musical functions and company parties. Will definitely be returning for more!!!

First time at Shogun, and I was blown away! As a frequent hibachi diner I’ve lived the experience of ‘where they cook in front of you’ since I was a child & this place blew it out of the park. I was impressed immediately at the atmosphere when walking in, and the quality of the sushi was amazing. The fish was fresh, flavorful, and phenomenal in taste as well as presentation. We had a conversation with the owner who was a kind and caring woman that clearly loved the place she had built and operated for over 30 years. We will be coming back! Thank you Shogun!

We were seated immediately as we walked into the restaurant. The chef was kind and polite and cooked our food to perfection. The staff was super sweet. My only criticism is drinks were not refilled right away. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Good birthday spot. Went here to celebrate and had a good time. The place wasn't busy when we went. Made a reservation through opentable and they wanted a $120 deposit which i thought was ridiculous, so I wouldn't recommend using that service for reservations. Took a long time to eat so I would keep that in mind. The food was good but wasn't anything special. The chef was also good but I've seen better performances.

Incredible and over the top personable. Everything. I worked with Mr. Lee, his wife Sun and both chefs, BJ & Marcos! So much fun & entertainment. They all went above and beyond. Mrs Sun even decorated and set up a nice table for our cake cutting. Three signs with our names as well. We luv the entire team!

First, when we got there for the Happy Hour which was advertised as being from 3:30 to 5:30pm, it looks like they were not even open- they had to turn on lights and music after they sat us. We had a very hard time understanding what the server was saying. We wanted to sit at the bar but were told that we had to sit in a specific area to have sushi. We were then sat on very uncomfortable seats and had lots of noise from the kitchen. Prices on the order paper and the menu did not match (they did give us the lower price AFTER we pointed it out) My mom ordered a Mai Thai and my boyfriend got a coke. The Mai Thai was awful and the coke was flat. When we told the server about the coke, she did not replace it or anything for about 15 mins and then she made some excuses about the manager being gone and the carbonation was just changed. It took about an hour to get our food. We ordered about 2 rolls each and all sushi was combined on 2 plates. The Sushi was not great and some of it was warm when it was supposed to be cold. I will not be going back and would not recommend going there.

We walked into the restaurant the first week of October. The waitress wouldn't give us eye contact. We waitress in the entrance to be treated but no one showed up. When I tried asking the waitress if the restaurant was indeed open, she ignored me. We ended up leaving. We will never go again.

I wish I could give negative stars. We went in tonight with high hopes for trying a new to us hibachi spot. I made a 630 reservation for a party of 10. We got there about 15-20 minutes early. We waited a few minutes to be seated, once seated we waited probably close to 30 minutes to get menus. The server taking drink orders was flustered and they were out of several beer options. It was 45 mins or close to an hour before they took our dinner order. Another server eventually came out to bring the soup and salads and for the life of him, couldn't count how many of us there were and kept bringing out not enough or too many. The salad was awful. After being there for a total of an hour and a half our chef was still no where in sight meanwhile another large group that got seated after us and ordered after us had a chef at their station cooking. We complained and asked what was going on, just to be gaslit and told we were late to our reservation the manager continued arguing saying we needed to "understand each other" at which point we decided to get up and leave. Not worth our time. Highly disappointed, if you're looking for good hibachi and great service don't come here go to fujiyama in liberty lake instead.

I have been going to Shogun for my birthday for 25 years (minus Covid restrictions and when the previous location burnt down.
My family and I have always loved Shogun for its consistent and well-prepared food. The vibe is different than the establishment on 3rd, but it still has me as a customer for life every year.
Highly recommend the full hibachi experience and to sit back and enjoy the show and the food, you won't be disappointed! A true Spokane gem.

Been to the new location multiple times now and never leave disappointed. The owners are very involved with customers, everyone on staff is helpful, and the food is exactly what I want it to be. The only negative that I will say is probably don't try to order any cocktails that aren't on the menu because they don't know them and probably won't try to make them. But my fam and I will keep coming back and keep leaving satisfied!

Got some of their Hibachi/Teppanyaki with a friend for our mutual birthday celebration and the service and atmosphere was perfect. Got the Shogun Special. High quality food, great portions, house tea was super good and their Sake selection matched the meal quite nicely!

Our group of 6 dined at Shogun last week for a 5:30 dinner. We were the only table and had a nice couple dining with us. I am sad to say that it will be our last time at Shogun. Everyone was very nice, but the restaurant has really gone downhill. The portions were quite small, and if you have gone to this restaurant in the past, you know that there is always a shrimp appetizer that everyone gets a bit of, large portions, and bean sprouts with the veggies. This is not the case anymore.
There was no shrimp appetizer, the mushrooms almost seemed like rehydrated slices that were tough and chewy, and they did not do bean sprouts. My filet mignon was also not what one would expect. No one had leftovers aside from my nine year old son. I always go home with a ton of leftovers, but the portions were just that tiny.
The chef had a great personality, but he was a novice, and mostly cooked instead of having a show. He had to leave the cooking station twice to go get more things from the kitchen. He did light a smiley face on fire, but that was the only theatrical aspect, no food tossing, strobe light, knife work, or onion volcano. They also did not do anything for my son‘s birthday despite us telling we were there to celebrate. We were very disappointed, and having paid about $350 for 6 of us, we are walking away from Shogun for good.

They brought us our sushi with rotten avacado in it and then offered to make our food brand new, we declined we didn’t want to wait. So they took 5$ off our 55$ bill. Honestly the waitress was nice enough the food was just gross.

The atmosphere is spot on, very japanese inspired. The only thing is they are sadly understaffed. However, the food is worth the wait. Everything thing, especially the hibachi, is delicious. The staff are sweet, funny, and considerate to all of their guests.

From start to finish horrible. It was my daughter’s birthday, and I felt so badly I apologized to she, and her boyfriend. We waited with for a table with another group of 5. We were the only guests! After finally getting seated I immediately noticed the vibe. It was dirty, and a shadow of the former downtown location. Our server was frantic, and finding it difficult to communicate with all of the people at the table. I don’t know if I can truly put into words the entire experience so let’s just say, it was bad. Our rice (steamed) was not delivered. The “chef” tossed the rubber over charred chicken onto our plates and that was that! We had no veg, no rice…nothing! He finally realized we had no sides and asked us about our rice! He literally walked away from the grill while he left lobster to burn, to check on our rice! Then he comes back and we waited for at least 10 more minutes for the rice. Then we said “we still didn’t get our veggies”, and now the chicken was cold! Honestly, the chicken being cold was nothing in comparison to the texture and flavor. My husband was so upset he walked away. I told our “server” that he couldn’t eat it and 30 minutes later was provided with the $140 tab. She took off my husbands meal, and I was happy with that, and made sure the sushi chefs knew that the sushi was amazing! I have NEVER left a restaurant review, and I only have now to express frustration.

The food was excellent and the hibachi chef was great and entertaining. We had a young girl at our table that had sensory issues and he was terrific with her. The service was not very good. Waiter never came back for refills. With the iced tea and soda being $4 each, you should be able to get 1 refill. If not, at least refill the waters. Waiter would come half way back to table to look, but would ignore us trying to flag him down. The cleanliness of the restaurant was not the best. Seems to need a deep clean.

Our party of 7 had a reservation for 6:45 yesterday June 16th for Father's Day and are extremely disappointed in the service received. When they seated us they told us other reservations had shown up late that is why we had to wait to be seated? We tried to be patient however we were there for an hour and 45 minutes to never get food. When we asked for the check for our drinks the waitress (who I did feel sorry for at first) tried to convince us to stay for a little longer and she would discount our meal because they only had two cooks. We only ever saw one person cooking at a time and said we would be next but he had just started cooking another tables dinner. When we asked again for the check, she would not bring it still trying to convince us to stay even though the appetizers never did come either (we had two in the group that had order a sushi roll). We finally just handed her what we thought would cover the drinks and left because she wouldn't bringing the bill. We should have been informed that they were short handed before we seated so we could have decided to leave or stay. We ended up having to take the fathers in the group for a burger because we were starving and everywhere was closing.

We went to Shogun tonight to celebrate my daughter's 9th birthday. To say the party was a success would be an understatement. Everything from the atmosphere to the service was phenomenal. Service was timely and we were checked in on consistently. Our Hibachi chef from our last visit recognized and greeted us soon after we were seated. Courses were brought out at regular intervals so we weren't sitting without food for very long. Our chef was extremely funny and amazing at what he does. Our food was cooked to perfection and prepared with an impressive expertise. Everything tasted amazing and all the ingredients were fresh. Our meal ended with a fire baton performance and a ton of super cool tricks. The entire dinner wrapped itself up into a full and unique experience from start to finish. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can!

An extremely beautiful environment with a lively atmosphere. All the staff were super friendly and you can tell they truly love what they do. The chef's personality added an amazing life to the experience and there was a genuine bond between the whole team. The food was prepared beautifully and was all delicious. The fuji apple sake was incredible, and I very rarely actually enjoy alcohol. Everything was fresh from start to finish, and their recipes have all been perfected. The beef and mushroom soup and ginger salad were incredible. The sushi was decadent and beautifully presented, all the sauces served were pristeenly balanced, yet unique, and the chef made each dish perfectly. Truly a fantastic experience and we will be returning soon!

So we had dinner reservations at 5, we sat down, most tables were empty. We ordered, did not take our drink order, there were 2 ladies put with us at our table, after 45 minutes, the ladies left, we finally got 2 drinks for the boys, had to find them to get other drinks, the whole time there were people coming in after us, seating, and getting orders and cooked for and eating, we were there over an hour, ready to leave ourselves, finally got a chef and drinks, we chef had a lighter that didn't work, so by the time he got one, the flame oil had spread out. We ate, tasted good, no refill on drinks, and they still charged for the 2 ladies that left and they didn't have to cook for, only a 5% military discount wasn't much. So no tip and am writing this review under annoyance.

Don’t waste your time going to Shogun, especially if you are part of a large group that includes children. Tonight we went in with high expectations, hoping for a fun night of birthday celebrations! A reservation was made and something came up that we had to move the reservation by a half hour which we informed the restaurant of. When we taken to our table that’s when everything hit the fan. Our waitress was stressed, confused, and very unprofessional. To the point that the person celebrating her birthday said we weren’t trying to be difficult and that we could leave if it was easier. To which the waitress said yes, for us to leave. The birthday girl went to get her children and was then told that we could stay. That wasn’t the worse part. Our kids were separated and the chef came out, cooked their meals, and we had to sit and wait. They finished their meals and a half our later is when they started our meals. The food was mediocre at best. When it was time to pay, the very rude waitress informed us that we were late to begin with and that we weren’t welcomed back. Not only was this comment made, but she shooed us away with her hand and kept saying for us to just leave. A few of the group still needed to pay, but she kept telling everyone to leave. Even being told they needed to pay she shooed them again. With that we moved to the parking lot to be chased down by the same waitress saying we didn’t pay! If you have a reservation and you know the group is going to be large, perhaps you should plan for that Shogun. Maybe the unpleasant waitress should have asked for help. Whatever needed to happen didn’t. We were all made to feel very uncomfortable and very unwelcome. Not the way we intended to celebrate someone who just wanted a fun night out with her friends and family.

The owners and servers were all wonderful, going out of their way to make sure we had a great meal and dining experience. BJ was hilarious and a very talented cook. He engaged our crew and kept us laughing through the entire meal. The food was excellent beginning with the delicious soup and salad. We ordered steak, chicken, shrimp, salmon, and calamari and all cuts of meat were fantastic in quality, quantity and taste! It was also fun seeing my son dressed up in the Samari Warrior costume and watching the staff sing Happy Birthday. It was an unforgettable evening and I highly recommend Shogun for your next evening or special occasion out!

Have been wanting to try out this place for some time being a huge fan of Hibachi! Very excited now that we tried it as the food was really really good! Ryan was our chef and one of the most talented and entertaining we have had at Hibachi restaurants. Steak and shrimp perfectly cooked and delicious! Fried rice and vegetables were also delicious! The three stars for service was because the soup and salad came at the end of the meal (I think the server forgot and we only got when we asked about it). Only other constructive critique is that the ginger sauce was a little watery. Otherwise, honestly a really great meal and show.

I made a reservation online for 5:30pm. I got to the restaurant at about 5:25pm. I checked in with the front, and at first, they said that they did not see a reservation for me. I showed the confirmation text message that I received, and when the hostess took another look, voila! There it was. We were sat at a table with another couple. This was my partner's first ever experience having Hibachi, so we were excited. We each got the Imperial Special (#18 I think?). According to your menu, the Imperial Special is Shogun Salad Bowl, steak, lobster tail, vegetables, fried rice, mushroom a la Japanese soup, and Shogun tea. We also got a Vegas Roll and an order of Shrimp Tempura. The Vegas Roll and Shrimp Tempura were good, and came out in a timely manner. I would like to note that the restaurant was NOT busy at all. There were two other tables one of them had pretty much wrapped up their meals by the time we arrived. Again, we were seated with one other couple, so our table was only a four-top. My partner and I ordered drinks, and we did not receive them. Then, for some reason, the hostess came by and asked for our drink orders again, so we re-ordered them, and again, did not not receive them. Then the cook came to our table and made our food. I noticed that the fried rice tasted very crunchy and under cooked right off the bat. I was hoping for an onion volcano, as I saw the other tables get one, but we did not get one. (That's kind of nitpicky, but it's part of the experience). Also, the menu states that all hibachi entrees come with soup, salad, mixed hibachi veg, and steamed rice (you can upgrade to fried rice or noodles). We all got our soup, but NO ONE at our table received salad. Our Imperial Special was supposed to come with Shogun Tea. We did not receive that either. At the end of our meal, when they were getting ready to give us our check, and they asked about our drinks.... AGAIN. We informed them that we did not receive them. So our waitress (after blaming the hostess, VERY poor taste if you ask me) brought us a couple of drinks on the house. That was very much appreciated. She then proceeded to essentially BEG us to go on Google and leave a 5 star review as they need to get bodies in the door. I have worked as a hostess and a server. I know how difficult the industry is and how overwhelming it can be. However, I have to say. It was not busy that night. At all. This was the kind of evening that everything should have been seamless and PERFECT. The staff definitely had the time to check in on all of us more often. This is one of those nights that someone should have checking on us like every 10 minutes to the point we were annoyed, but we didn't get that kind of interaction. The couple we were seated with had to go up front to pay their bill even!!! No one came to collect it! You're out here struggling to get bodies in the house, and you don't come collect your payment? I ended up spending almost $200 (because I still left a good tip) for non-attentive service, forgotten drinks, mediocre food, not ALL of the food and beverage I *should* have gotten, and the most time a staff member spent with me was to beg me to give a good review online. I am not a fan of going online to bash an establishment, but this was unacceptable. I tried reaching out to Shogun directly, but no one could be bothered to hear what I had to say about my experience, so here is the review they asked for. NOT five stars. I wanted to give them time to respond or SOMETHING, but no such luck. I will definitely not be back.

Reservations only, called for my anniversary dinner. Time was set for 7pm, they took my name and phone number down. Showed up 10 minutes early, doors were locked but can see 5 employees inside. Called, went to answering machine. Called again, watched one of the 5 employees walk to answer it. He wasn’t sure why the doors were locked and would ask the chef. Chef gets on the phone and say they can’t serve anyone tonight. When I ask why, 4 seconds literally go by before he said a pipe burst and they have no water.
It would have been a lot better if he didn’t lie and just told me that we were the only reservation for the rest of the night and they couldn’t justify keeping the restaurant open just for us. You had my name and number..
Great experience for a special night.

Worst restaurant experience in my 59 years last night (a Sunday)--and we eat out a LOT. "Soft opening"? They had NO business being open. No one knew what they were doing. We had reservations at 6:30. We were told to sit in the bar area and would be promptly seated. Waited at a table, and watched this poor guy get ignored at the bar. He even asked a couple people if they were bartending. Just told him no, without even trying to get the bartender. After realizing they didn't plan on seating us until 7 because they didn't have a full table, we were going to leave. The owner realized that and desperately tried to keep us there. We almost left, and should have. A full 45 minutes after walking in and we still didn't even have our Sapporo beers (the most popular Japanese beer, which is NOT on tap). We had also ordered 3 Imperial dinners (filet mignon & lobster). We bailed. That was a good chunk of change that walked out their door. With at least 3 other Japanese steakhouses between Spokane, Liberty Lake, and Post Falls, we chose one of them and experienced quick and good service --and better ambiance. Sure won't be back!

Place has really gone downhill over the years. Was with there with a party of 25 people and could hardly get any service. Our first round of drinks was brought out AFTER our meal was served. Our meal was served 2 hours late.

We went for my son’s birthday party. My husband said he was full so the chef literally took his plate of food and put it on everyone else’s plates. I was speechless!!

Our family wanted to spend Christmas Eve dinner here. There were 10 of us. We had a reservation for 6:00. When I confirmed the reservation a few days ahead of time they said it would be better to come at 4:30 because 6:00 is a busy time. So what’s the point of making a reservation? We arrived on time and waited 15 minutes to be seated, no problem. Our waiter gave us water and took drink orders right away. We had to request a new plate because one was dirty. Our waiter took our food order and then we waited, and waited, and waited. Our waiter kept telling us our chef would be there soon. We watched two tables come in after us and be served before us. One of those tables left before we got served. It was 8:00 when the chef came to us and said they were out of scallops. We were disappointed but could maybe understand. Then he came back 15 min later and said they were out of chicken. We were VERY unhappy. They didn’t seem to even feel bad about it which caused some back and forth yelling. We explained we’d been there for 2 hours and felt our food order went to others after us. They did not care. BJ was our chef and he tried really hard to make it ok. It was just too late. None of us had an appetite. There was no “show”. He just cooked and we tried to eat. Everything was way too salty and they served the rice and noodles first, then meat or seafood, then vegetables all separately. Our Christmas was completely ruined. They did comp 50% of our check and didn’t charge us for any drinks. We did not tip. But when they charged our card they added 14.00 to the bill which we noticed on our bank account the next day. We had to dispute the charge. It was the worst experience at a restaurant we’ve ever had.

I went here with my daughter last week for dinner. The service was a lot different than what I remember it being 2 years ago. For starters there was no silverware or napkins until I had asked for them. The sushi was okay I guess even though one of the rolls wasn’t what we ordered. We waited until midway through the meal for our drinks after I reminded them we still needed them. We didn’t order anything to be actually cooked and we were the only people in there at all so the discombobulation was a little odd.
If you’re going to hibachi with a group it’s definitely a fun place to go but I personally don’t think I’ll be going to sit for just sushi ever again cause that experience and food felt like a waste of $70

This was my first visit here. I went for my birthday. Travis was the chef at my table. He was awesome! I tried new food and drink to expand my experience, and was surprised at the level of goodness.
I recommend going here at least once to experience it.

We've been too many Shoguns in other States and this one has to be the worse food ever! The servers were friendly but our food was awful, there must be a better teppan bar around! We had chicken and shrimp and hubby had a rainbow roll! The meat was dry , fried rice was weird, soup and salad were awesome but the fish in the sushi was old (not fresh) first time hubby didn't finish his rainbow roll!

Not real happy I reserved a room for my husbands and my 25th wedding anniversary. The worse service ever, no drinks or no one even checking on us. Half of my guests left because of the terrible service and lack of organization. When you have someone who reserves a room for a special occasion they should have been taking care of first. You let other large parties to come in and you took care of them while leaving my reserved party without anything until 8:00 pm when my reservation was at 6 pm. I’ve never been so embarrassed I had to actually go get menus and hand them out. Soup and salad came after dinner was served. It was a total cluster of a mess. No I’m sorry no here it’s on us , we got nothing but lame excuses! So disappointed, thanks for making our 25 year Anniversary a bad memory. I’ve never dealt with such rudeness.

If I could give this place a rating less than one star I would!! An absolutely miserable, utterly disappointing experience! We went there tonight for a 25th wedding anniversary, for which the host booked their Samurai Room for a party of 34 people. We waited 1 1/2 hours for them to take our orders, and for drinks…we asked 4 times for a refill on our WATER!!! (No exaggeration !)They took our orders and we waited for yet another 1/2 hour before a chef came into the room. A lot of rude attitude and excuses, yet still no drinks or food! We ended up leaving without food prep, cooking, serving, and one glass of water! SHAMEFUL service! I would have rated the food but, WE DIDN'T GET ANY IN 2 hours!!!
This place completely ruined my friends’ special evening, and callously embarrassed them in front of their friends and family! So not only did they lose our business tonight, along with roughly 10 to 12 others who left hungry and thirsty, but likely any future business from those of us who decided Shogun was essentially not worth it! I hope you comped the hosts for the evening since you basically destroyed their milestone anniversary memories!

Went to a pre-planned and pre-scheduled 25th wedding anniversary there last night. The service was diabolical. The place was totally disorganized and understaffed. All we got was excuses and rudeness. Our first round of drinks didn't come till AFTER dinner was served. About a dozen people left without getting served because they couldn't even get a glass of water! So people were going out to the bar and getting drinks The staff didn't like that. Even though we had been there for over an hour with no service. Seriously? They shouldn't even have charged us for dinner with the service being as bad as it was. They should have given us gift cards to come back for another free dinner. There were 40 people in our party and I doubt if any will ever return.

It has become a family tradition to celebrate big and little moments at Shogun with my now, adult children. We recently celebrated family and togetherness and had the best experience yet! BJ was absolutely amazing. He teamed up with the rest of the staff, including Ms. Lee, to take our Sushi and drink orders. The youngest kids (12 and under) were mesmerized by BJ’s skills as a chef. The food and entire experience could not have been better! I highly recommend choosing Shogun for all of your celebrations, big and little! Thank you, Shogun!

Food was delicious, service was great! We especially enjoyed the ginger and hot mustard sauces. We had steak, chicken, scallops and shrimp, fried rice and yakisoba, and all were perfectly cooked. Our 14 and 10 year old kids really enjoyed their first hibachi experience, loving the flames, the whistling onion volcano, and catching pieces of shrimp in their mouths! Love the way the chef engaged with them!

My wife and I walked in to get some sushi and went to get sat down right at the sushi bar, the young man that was making the sushi was very disrespectful and said “ no no no I’m not serving you right now” it was very awkward and we had no choice but to turn around and leave with no service. I have never experienced this before..

Guy at the sushi bar was extremely rude and acted like we were a burden coming into the restaurant. We walked out. I won’t be recommending this place to anyone. Seems like I wasn’t the only One this happened to tonight seeing the other reviews made today…

I and my boyfriend went to try something new so we tried to go to your restaurant. We entered the front door no one greeted us. My boyfriend went to the sushi bar and asked if we needed to wait to be seated and the guy looked up and glared at my boyfriend and said yes then another man walked up with a phone on his hand he wrote down something and then said nothing to us so we decided to walk out no one stopped us no one talked to us. We will never come back you all just missed out on a big ticket. Worst place ever.

I took my daughter out for sushi and we decided to try Shogun. I hadn't been there since they opened their location in the valley. Atmosphere was very pretty. What really upset me, is that it took over an hour, to get the 3 sushi rolls we ordered for dinner. We had also ordered an appetizer (2 egg rolls).. 30 minutes after we ordered, another couple that came is after us, were finishing their dinner, and we had not even gotten our egg rolls yet. I found our server and asked to make sure we had not been forgotten about? He assured me that our food was being made and would be out soon. Another 15 minutes went by, and our first roll appeared, another 5 later, our egg rolls finally showed up... then, we played the waiting game again... 20 minutes after we had finished the bit of food we had, our last 2 rolls showed up. I told them I wasn't very happy that it had taken so long, and they just ignored me, set the food down and walked away?! I had to flag someone down just to get our bill. 2 of the rolls were great, but the tempura roll was almost soggy by the time it found its way to our table. They are lucky they even got a tip at all. Service was horrible. We will NEVER go back. If I wanted to pay $60 to ve ignored, I'd have asked my ex wife out

Went there to celebrate my wife's birthday, we arrived early and they accommodated us and sat us down early, of all the tables, they sat us at a table that was dirty, gave us dirty plates and the grill still had food on it from previous guests and the grill was dirty. They were told twice it was for a birthday. I was excited to celebrate her birthday here since I have heard many great stories of it, the flaming onion volcano was the highlight of the "show"the rest fell flat and I was very disappointed especially after hearing great things about how it used to be with celebrations.

I am usually very gracious but the service here was absolutely horrible. We got seated and waited 70 mins for getting our drinks.. we were very close to walking out. The servers were going so slow and would disappear for long amounts of time…. No one was doing anything. This dinner took 140 mins. The food was ok… we will definitely not be going back. It used to be so good when it was downtown, it is no longer a fun experience. Not worth the 200$…..go somewhere else

slow service all around, slow seating us, slow giving us a menu, slow to cook and waited 10-15 min to just get the check. They gave us the wrong food as well. Food was not worth the price, tasted like the mall.

The experience of having dinner here was almost a joke. Inept servers, slower than molasses delivery of cocktails, appetizers, tea, etc... We were overcharged for 2 appetizers, only ordered 1 appetizer. And the appetizer was awful. They charge for tea , by the way. It's dark and murky feeling and looking inside the place. The only positive thing was the chef cooking good meals at our table. If you order any steak, bring your own steak knife, they do not have a single steak knife in the place.

My wife and I decided on Hibachi for our fourth wedding anniversary. We decided on Shogun. We ordered the Imperial fillet & lobster, calamari steaks, volcano roll, edamame, fried rice, fried noodles, vegetable stir fry, and mushroom soup. All of it was amazing! They were on point with all the flavors and the hospitality was above excellent. The price is appropriate for what you are served, the portions are perfectly acceptable.

Not worth making a reservation online they never have it on the list. Pretty sure everybody there was intoxicated. Not that it always a bad thing. There was six of us waited to get seated. There was one other table in. Once we were at the table 20min before someone came by, so we left went to Sushi house best decision made.

THE OWNERS KEEP THE TIPS FOR THEMSELVES!!! PLEASE TIP YOUR COOK AND SERVERS AND BARTENDERS DIRECTLY!!! THE OWNERS GIVE THEM 10$ EACH AT THE END OF THE NIGHT!!
WE HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, BUT ITS NOT WVEN WORTH TALKING ABOUT. WHAT I WILL TALK ABOUT IS THE WAY THEY TREAT THEIR STAFF AND STEAL THEIR MONEY!!!!! WE WILL NEVER RETURN.
PLEASE SUPPORT THE STAFF WITH CASH IN HAND. OTHERWISE THEY DONT RECEIVE IT!!!

New owners are terrible. They can't keep staff for any length of time so they are always new and have no training. The bartender didn't know how to run the till, we waited over an hour before our order was taken which was understandable considering they Only had 2 chefs and 1 waitress for the entire night with 6 tables. We were a party of 9 and ended up not having enough of most what we ordered for everyone like scallops, chicken and fried rice. I'm not sure if it was the kitchens fault or where the confusion on the order came from but it was like they just completely forgot how many people we had or what we ordered. The staff was clearly struggling trying to keep up with everything and the owners were doing almost nothing to help, and bugging people at the bar saying you had to pay for food if u wanted a drink, understandable but everyone there had ordered and was just waiting. It really felt like they didn't want us at the bar.
The staff were really nice and just doing there best with what the owners were giving them which was nothing but dirty looks.
When we complained the owners said they would comp a single appetizer rather than actually fix anything, then offered to pay for our drinks which we already payed for. The cops had to get involved before they would let us leave.
We paid for half the bill considering we got half the food.
