I accidentally walked in the wrong door but they let me in the locked one I was trying to get into. So the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s a fairly typical modern sushi house. Low lighting, clean and simple. I was overwhelmed with my choices as to what to order. So I had some help. I saw an appetizer called Monkey Brain and naturally I had to try it. But it’s a dish that should be shared with multiple people. It’s big and just a lot for one person. As for the rolls each had great flavor and tasted fresh. I got a roll with cilantro and personally I do not jive with the garnish. But everything else was fantastic. If you are looking for sushi I recommend.

Came in for the first time with my boyfriend for a quick meal and wasn’t disappointed. Food is incredibly good, fish is extremely fresh and high quality. Considering quality, the prices are a steal! Plus if you care about presentation it’s good too. The server girl was extremely sweet as well. Will be coming here with a bigger group again!

I just visited for the first time and I'm happy to report that I am definitely coming back for more! All the different types of fish I had were perfectly cured, with great flavor and texture. The rice was also perfectly seasoned and with great texture. My favorite roll, both for flavor and creativity, was the Manhattan roll; the deep fried tempura rice cake with fish on top is just too good to be shared, so make sure to get your own. All in all, a great place to have good looking, and good tasting sushi in a very relaxed and unassuming atmosphere.

We had a lovely HUGE meal there last night on their lovely outside patio. We ordered far too much food as we kept wanting to try more things. We got the jalapeño bombs to start, I tried ramen, and she got nabeyaki udon. We also tried two rolls the Hot Dream & Heart Attack. We’ll likely get less fried stuff next time… but they were all delicious!

This place is one of the best sushi restaurants I have been to. The first time, I felt the need to wear fancy clothes. The luxury feeling of the atmosphere and the service. Food is amazing, and the portion matches the price you pay. The beef bowl was bigger than we thought it was. The pork tonkatsu and the chicken tonkatsu came with two slabs and little pasta and rice and salad.we got the crunch roll, and the Lion king roll and the Dragon roll those are worth trying. Overall, it was an amazing experience. I definitely must eat here if in the mood for sushi in Renton.

First of all this place has phenomenal ambiance. It's clean, bright, and elegant without being stuffy. We loved the hot towels for our hands prior to the meal, and the server was attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious, and the portions were good sized. It's sushi, and the prices reflect that, but the quality was worth it. Weekday lunch is a great time to visit!

Only been once but the one time was a great experience. I got one roll, miso soup and it was great and for a good price. My friends got teriyaki and tuna and some sort of raw fish bowl. Presentation was on point and they seemed to really like theirs as well. I’d definitely come back. The menu is big and there’s plenty to try. Good vibe and great service too.

Beautiful new sushi restaurant at The Landing.
Presentation is awesome for quality sashimi and sushi!
They have another location that is much smaller in Newcastle.
The menu is large with lots of cooked items as well! Looking forward to trying more of the menu.

I came here for the first time today for a late lunch. They quickly accommodated us with a larger table when we had two more added to our party. I ordered the Kyoto Yuzu Pale Ale, Japanese Ceviche, Three Times Lady Roll, and Agedashi Tofu. The Japanese Ceviche was a stand out with 4 types of thinly cut fish, chopped jalapenos, chilis, cilantro and a citrusy ponzu sauce. It was delicious! Three Times Lady had a lot of different fish wrapped in rice paper that most of us enjoyed. I tried my friend's Jackbox roll that was topped with salmon and had imitation crab layered in the center. It was fresh and really good with the added lemon slice on top. Agedashi Tofu was average and got soggy quick. At our new table there was water dripping from the ceiling. Not sure if there was a leak in the roof or if it was from an AC unit but it dropped on me and my roll (before I was able to finish it) a few times. The server quickly and kindly replaced it with a new roll. When the check came most of the servers were inattentive because they were having a meal before closing down for their dinner rush. I didn't mind at all but it was a good 15 minutes before they took the bill. All in all, I would definitely go back for that Japanese Ceviche and try other items off their extensive menu if I'm ever craving sushi in the Renton area.

Me and my husband had diarrhea after sushi, I called back and they mentioned there is no other people complaining about that. Is that means it’s our fault? Very interesting. They mentioned will let manger know and call me back. But I never get a call back after few days.

Turned away in favor of a larger party that came in after. Unacceptable.

Towards the end of our dinner, we were asked to sit at the bar to finish our drinks or leave due to a large party arriving. Note that I still had beer in my cup. The staff (multiple staff members and lead) rudely observed us rather than the table next to us (that were still finishing their drinks) that had been dining there way longer even before we arrived. Food was okay but service was terrible and being asked to move or leave ruined our night. Will not be back and this will be noted in our vlog.

Renton does not have too many vegan options near my hotel, so I was really thankful I found Mori!
They start you with a warm, damp towel for your hands and some miso soup (my server went back to ensure it was vegan and had no fish sauce).
I had the cucumber salad and three rolls. The shiitake role was simple but good. The yasahi roll was fine as well, but the real stand out was the tempura yam roll! The flavor combination was delicious and one of the best rolls I've had! I'm so thankful my server (Naiya?) recommended it! Also, excellent service!

What an excellent surprise for Renton! The sushi was excellent! I had the spicy salmon and spicy tuna roll, the blue fin nigiri and salmon sashimi. It was very refreshing to order spicy tuna and spicy salmon and have them be spicy. The nigiri was easily the largest portion I’ve ever had for a very reasonable price and incredibly fresh. The rolls were excellent portions. I’d highly recommend if you’re in Renton, the prices are amazing and you will leave stuffed.

Would come here every day if I could! Wide variety on the menu, everything I tried was top-notch. Can choose between very elaborate, eye-catching signature rolls or more standard, straightforward classics - either way you will get a quality, delicious meal. The “normal” rolls are a good way to get high quality sushi on a budget, too. The shiitake mushroom rolls are the best example of this: priced at only $6.50, but the chef does something special to bring out the earthy essence of the mushroom, I’ve never before had mushrooms taste so satisfying. The signature rolls are priced around $15-20 per plate, but are certainly worth it too!

Went to More Sushi & Grill by Aji on a Saturday with a friend. We were hesitant at first as the prices were higher than most Sushi joints. This was most definately not a "Sushi Joint" this was Sushi as it should be! With high quality fish and wonderful kitchen (Tempura) items! Even real Shiso in my Chirashi! Quite a fabulous experience, we sat outside in a light rain. The food and the service was well worth the cost. I would highly recommend More Sushi & Grill! Ordered online for takeout. Had a couple of modifications and both were perfectly addressed. My order was thoughtfully packaged and ready when it said it was going to be. The host was incredibly friendly upon my arrival and ensured I had everything I needed before I left.
Both of the rolls I got were amazing! Sometimes when you get to go sushi it just isn’t good by the time you get home, but this was just as great as it would be in the restaurant. I had the Aji Roll and the Orange Delight. The Orange Delight was actually lemony and a perfectly lovely light counter balance to the Aji’s flavorful and rich abundance.
I’ll definitely be back while I’m in town and maybe I’ll remember to take a photo of my order next time before I devour it! 🤭

Amazing. We stopped in before a movie and sat at the bar. The sushi chef and staff were super friendly and attentive. The space is really chic and beautiful. Sushi was amazing! There were a bunch of Japanese and Korean dishes that I can't wait to try. I thought our bill would be through the roof for how fancy it felt and how quality the food was but pretty standard prices for sushi. I'm very excited to go here again. The Manhattan sushi was awesome! They have all the traditional stuff Excellent nigiri and all kinds of inventive rolls to try. One more shout out to the chef who was making art and was just a cool dude too. Lovely experience.

From the moment we entered, we were warmly greeted and seated promptly. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing dining experience. The staff at Mori Sushi were attentive and knowledgeable, providing recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of our meal was perfect.
The sushi at Mori Sushi is truly outstanding. Each piece of nigiri was fresh and expertly prepared, showcasing the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs. The rolls were creative and beautifully presented, offering a delightful mix of flavors and textures.
One of our favorite dishes was the Mori Special Roll, which was a delicious blend of fresh fish and unique sauces that elevated the flavors to a new level. We also enjoyed the Sashimi Platter, which featured a variety of seafood that was incredibly fresh and flavorful.

Mori’s is fantastic. Finally a sushi restaurant in Renton with an elegant ambiance. I interacted with at least four employees, all were extremely courteous and attentive.
And then there is the food…
From the seaweed salad to the jalepeno bomb and the Excalibur roll, the flavors are clean, bright, fresh and crisp. I was delighted at how balanced all the flavors were in each dish. Everything was perfectly seasoned and it was lovely to have a seaweed salad that wasn’t overly salty.
Great work Mori’s Sushi & Grill. I’m excited to return with my family and friends.

The food is good. There was a good amount of Korean food on the menu, just wondering if this is a Japanese or
Korean owned restaurant.
**Also, there is a 20% "service charge" added onto the bill, but still a line for tip on the cc bill. I'm guessing the service charge was the imposed-upon-you tip. Would be nice if they told you that the tip was already on there. Or, call the service charge a tip. Not cool.

We wanted to try this place out as a new sushi location near us. We were impressed.
Came here on a Saturday around 6 and immediately got a table for 3. Each adult gets free miso soup, a hot towel, and tea, which was really nice. Many options for sushi rolls as well as regular meals, but we came for sushi.
My wife said the Three Times Lady roll was the best roll she's ever had. I had the Heart Attack, which was solid. Our son enjoyed the mushroom roll as he's too young to have raw fish.
We left very satisfied with the food. Service from our waiter was a bit weird, as he took my order for rolls and then immediately left. But we were able to get our full order in eventually.

🍣🥢 Mori Sushi and Grill - A Delightful Dining Experience! 🍜🥗
We had a fantastic dining experience at Mori Sushi and Grill! 😊 My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal starting with appetizers of California rolls and tiger eye rolls - they were a perfect start to our meal. 🍣 For the main course, my husband savored the creamy chicken broth and ramen, while I opted for the bulgogi beef rice salad. 🥘
Overall, we found the food to be great - a delightful mix of flavors that pleased our taste buds. 👌 Though I must admit, the bulgogi beef wasn't my favorite as I've had better elsewhere. 🥩 Nevertheless, the quality and presentation of the dishes were top-notch.
The ambiance at Mori Sushi and Grill was lovely, creating a relaxing and enjoyable dining atmosphere. ✨ It's definitely a place worth visiting for a cozy meal with your loved ones. 🍽️

Ordered takeout because I had been hearing good things, and it was all true! Everything was really good. I'll list what we had in order of favorites: The big red, jalapeño bomb, bulgogi, crunchy roll, and I'm on fire. It was all $91, plus a tip. Put family is two adults, a teen, and a toddler. We ended up having an entire roll worth of priced left, so we could have ordered one thing less to save some $$. Worth the price in my opinion and will likely be going again.

Tried this restaurant out after watching a movie next door. Was able to get seated right away for a table of six at 6pm on a Thursday. The food was good not disappointed. The service was great. The waitress was on point. My only issue was when my Tonkatsu came, I asked “I thought I ordered Tonkatsu Ramen?” She said, “No, you ordered Tonkatsu!”…WTH? I said “okay…”? Oh well. I think the issue was the ramen is on the “Kitchen Dinner page and I asked what came with the dinners. It was quite a bit of deep fried pork for me. Same with the bulgogi, so we shared. Both were good when the sauce was added. All dinners came with a bowl of Miso soup. We would definitely go back and this time make sure I order the Tonkatsu Ramen or maybe Nabeyaki Udon. Others dinners ordered were the Teriyaki Chicken and the Saba dinner. All said dinners were good and rated above average.

In disbelief art how good this place is. Everything about it is great. The service, the interior, the value, and especially the food.
To start, they give you complimentary tea and miso soup. Do you know how amazing it is to not get sheisted for $4 tea or soup these days? Kudos. Honestly this and the interior and service was enough for five stars, and then the food was incredible.
The "I'm on Fire" roll was actually on fire. The yam/mango roll was easily the best veggie maki I've ever had. The Three Ladies was also very well made. These were simply some of the best sushi I've had in years.
Each roll was also HUGE. You really get a bang for your buck here.
I don't think I've ever had better food at this amount for this price in the area. Really surprised since the last sushi place at the landing was quite bad and very expensive. Give this new one a churns and get your socks blown off!

Beautiful restaurant & lovely food presentation but food and service were terrible. I called ahead a time to ask when their last table was seated, they said 8:45pm. We arrived at 8:30 and quickly ordered. They turned the music off right at 8:45 and made us feel rushed. Once food was brought to our table the server didn’t check on us to see how the food was tasting. We’re such big foodies and we want this place to do well but we left so disappointed. We’re definitely not coming back. There’s nothing like Momiji in Seattle !!

We sat down at 7pm and it took them 10 min to take our order, 15 min to get our drinks and another 20 for our appetizer. It was just two of us and maybe they had someone call out but it shouldn't have taken an hour to make a specialty roll. The waiter was polite but quiet and didn't offer an explanation and I left it alone. It was a little over an hour before we got all of our food and spending 100+ kind of sucks when you don't even get average service speed. Also the screaming child didn't help.

I like the atmosphere, service was attentive, food was ok. There was barely any jalapeño in stuffed jalapeño app. The sushi wasn’t memorable, just kind of flavorless and most of the rolls had a very sweet sauce on top. Overall a nice place but the food was lacking.

The Landing has been in need of more restaurants, and Mori is a huge addition. We've been notably impressed by the presentation as well as quality of the dishes. Menu items do have a high cost, so this isn't necessarily a casual place to eat, but the comfort of the environment and kindness of the waitresses does offer a welcoming vibe.
We were particularly happy with the sushi rolls including the I'm on Fire and Spider Roll, as well as the sushi omakase. Skip the Manhattan, though. We tried the hot tofu soup and it was average (Exit 5 across the street does this dish better). For appetizers, I would recommend skipping the sunomono and getting ageodashi tofu or fried soft shell crab instead. All the plating and garnishments were a cut above most restaurants in Renton, and could hold their own against Bellevue downtown's noteworthy sushi restaurants.
In summary, Mori is probably the best sushi experience in Renton and is remarkable enough for even those with high expectations to be happy with their time here.
Update: We've revisited twice, once for dine-in and oteice for pickup. In all cases we had outstanding experiences and we noticed there's no longer a service charge. Bumping up my review to 5 stars.

Service was good, the interior design is classy and earthy with all the fake plants they have covering the walls and wood elements but the food itself was just ok.

This has got to be one of the best sushi places we have been to in the Seattle metropolitan area. Everything was beautifully prepared and served in an elegant setting. This was my first time eating here, but I intend to go back again and again until I have tried everything on the menu! As I looked around at the food being served to the other tables I couldn't help thinking "I should have ordered that" so I will on my return visits in the future. Very attentive wait staff and the quality of food far exceeded my wildest expectations.

This place was truly a delight. The atmosphere is so laid back and chill with good music, it’s beautiful inside with a modern oriental style, the servers are so pleasant, and the food was really good. Thoroughly enjoyed this place and will definitely be back.

We came here for sushi and were pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was. I got the sushi omakase and the presentation and quality were super. Beautiful, fresh and melts in your mouth goodness. I can’t wait to come back to try the other rolls/dishes.

Our go-to spot! Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. If you like sashimi, try the ceviche. It's slices of sashimi in a panzu sauce, excellent! If you want a roll without rice, the lollipop roll is an absolute must try. At the recommendation of our waiter, we tried sea urchin, very buttery. The service was top-notch, thank you Maurice and the lovely lady helping him. We will be back!

Beautiful interior, stunning presentation with every plate, outstanding service (every single person was so kind) And even better food. Very rare for a restaurant these days to achieve all of these at the same time. I really hope the word gets around and they stay really busy, our new favorite sushi restaurant!
Also I want to note there was no 18% service charge added to our bill like a previous person reviewed. They also greet you at the table with a hot towel and complimentary miso soup. Again you won’t be disappointed. Excited to come back and try their hot dishes!

Lives up to every expectation. Delicious rolls and really friendly service - just like the other Aji Sushi locations. This is now our go to sushi place.

Absolutely amazing experience. We have been lacking a Japanese restaurant at The Landing for a couple years. The decor is top notch, probably the nicest of all the restaurants in The Landing. My family tried a variety of the dishes, from sushi to udon to teriyaki and more. Everything was excellent and the portion sizes were very good. Highly recommended.

As a frequent goer of New Castle Aji, I had to try this place once I heard of the grand opening ! Definitely did not disappoint ! Food was so delicious and fresh (presentation on point!!) and the interior and ambiance was top tier. Service was also one of the best I’ve experienced in a while. 10/10 would recommend !

The Tonkotsu ramen with charsu pork was a wonderful lunch. There are two slices of pork with nicely seared side all around. The broth is very well balanced between light and flavorful. Not overpowering taste like a garlic Tonkotsu. Very good service and well finished facility. I just wish the free miso soup is a little hotter. I will definitely come back and also recommend this place.
