Informal outpost with a sushi bar offering a variety of Japanese cuisine in a colorful setting.
Absolutely delicious food! One of the Best sushi spots around! We have been here a few times, and each time we come it's sooo good!! We always do the all you can eat and it is definitely worth the price!!! They have so many good sushi to choose from, calamari, and more! Staff is always so welcoming, kind and friendly! The Restaurant itself is very cozy, clean and tidy! Great atmosphere! Parking lot is decent size!

We ordered All you can eat which was $36.43 for adults and $15.99 for Children age 1-7(yes, even for 1 year old baby!)
It's made to order.
All the sushi were great. We especially liked the SOB and Rainbow rolls.
The reason I gave 3 stars was for their service. They were really slow.
We had to wait a little while because they were taking the order of someone who came after us and they didn't give our child any water or a plate until we asked.
And they don’t let you order the next round until you almost finish your plates. -which gives you huge gaps between your orders.
I would love this place only for food but not at all for service.

Nom, nom, nom! Wonderful evening at the Sushi Ring! My friend suggested this place as she really wanted to try their all-you-can-eat option. Reading the Yelp reviews, I wasn't entirely sure. Didn't sound like the best place to eat and the food was always just average according to all reviews. But when in Rome. So anyway we drove up to Everett to try it out. Before I talk about anything else, I have to say that the selection was excellent! We had so much to choose from and we enjoyed every single bite of it! Especially, and my friend really wanted me to add this, especially the upside down shrimp. She asked them for 3 plates of that stuff and I would say it was pretty good! We enjoyed all sorts of things from deep fried rolls to standard caterpillar and dragon rolls. Everything tasted fresh and we were able to get it right away as it was about 8 at night and there was only a few other people there. We sat at the bar and the sushi maker was extremely friendly every time she took our order. Really fun to watch them make it! Their decor is nothing to write home about, however the overall friendliness made up for it. The sushi makers are very nice and the owners who were buzzing around doing other tasks were also very friendly. You could tell it was like a family place where everyone was welcome. I would definitely go back and the $28 for all you can eat was excellent! Totally worth it!

I usually go with coworkers a few times a year. The all you can eat option is what we select. It is a very large selection, including appetizers. Most orders will be done in front of you if sitting where the sushi bar is located. Hot rolls or ones that require extra prep are done in the kitchen, but made to order.

Food was great but service and atmosphere were terrible. The female staff gave mean looks all throughout us being there and it’s hard to enjoy your meal when you are obviously being rushed out. They do also say mean things about customers but they think no one understands :)

Posting this review since Google keeps badgering me. The food is good, my fiance and I had been going there for about a year but had to stop. Be warned though: the staff will gossip and make fun of you in Spanish if you are white. If you know Spanish don't let the employees know and you can see what they really think of you :)
Won't be back.
Don't speak poorly about your customers in front of them.

I have never left a bad review before, but my experience here was the worst I’ve ever had. The food is fine for all you can eat. Nothing spectacular but it was fine. The service however was horrid. We were a party of 6 and two people don’t eat sushi at all (1 of them a child). So 3 of us wanted all you could eat. They informed us that the whole table had to do all you can eat or we can’t have it. We explained that their website and menu did not state this so we were unaware and asked if they could make an exception. They ultimately did but they scolded us by 2 different people at our table. They then proceeded to watch us eat for the duration of our meal. I mean stand at the corner of the bar and stated the entire meal. Even my 9 year old daughter was so embarrassed by them. They also did not bring us the rolls we ordered. We did not order a lot either. On our second order they again chose what to bring us and we never received what we ordered. When they brought the last two rolls out she literally said you can’t possibly eat all of this. SO RUDE! Once they decided we were done they brought the bill and left. Did not ask if we were finished or anything. I do not believe in stiffing anyone so we still left a generous tip and left. If you are a larger party I would steer clear. I’ve never felt so disrespected and embarrassed in my life. I will never come back nor recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very uncalled for attitude. We would have happily gone to one of the many other establishments in the same parking lot instead.

wanted to explore more sushi restaurants in washington. safe to say, i will not be coming back. right off the bat, you walk in to the most dingiest restaurant ever. it looks more like those type of fast food restaurants that like stay open at 3am than an actual sushi restaurant. no music, literally no one else that was sitting was talking so it was so awkward. the service was mid, the woman working the checks was kind. the guy who prepared the rolls kept staring and the woman who sat us down literally was so uninviting. we sat ourselves down. we ask for the ayce which was almost $37 a person. in my opinion the quality of the food does not match that price. we started off by ordering edamame. it was so unsalted and then they didn’t even bring an extra bowl to put the scraps from the ones we ate so our eaten mixed with the uneaten ones. we only ordered 3 rolls to try it out and the minute the woman brought our rolls out she literally took our edamame without even asking if we were done. the rolls were falling apart honestly. the sweet chili sauce on the spider roll threw me off 😂. a man that i think might’ve been the owner came by and brought another one of the menus that you write on, even though we already had one. he came by again asking if we were ready, (i think to order more) and my husband said yes. we didn’t want to order anymore because the rolls we had already were disappointing and then the same man looked at the menu and saw we didn’t mark anything and dismissively said “no”. it threw me off. when we asked for the check, the same man asked the other guy preparing the sushi if we were a la carte or ayce and said it kinda rudely in spanish. i assume they didn’t know that i understood them. but the kind woman who does the checks only charged for the 3 rolls, our 2 drinks and edamame instead of the whole ayce which was actually really nice. so bonus points for that. sushi ring is most definitely not one of the better choices of sushi. glad i tried but definitely not the place to come for seconds!

This place have limit on the all you can eat sushi that they offer they will totally ignore you. if you order after your 3rd roll they pretend that ur not there anymore make you feel unwelcome and very awkward they just drop your bill and won't ask if you want to order more... fake all you can eat. Why offer this service then.

So, I don't get to talk about my food experience. But called and was treated very poorly.. We just moved from the East Coast, and it's my daughters bday. We wanted to go out for sushi, our favorite. But my little ones. She won't eat anything. Just plays on her tablet. Well. We were informed that it was a full price adult for her dinner at time. Even if she doesn't eat. Or we don't get all you can eat. We were gonna be a party of 8. I was informed to come and hung up on. When we would eat out on the East Coast, they would just charge the people that ate. And we're fine she didn't eat. They were rude, and their attitude was uncalled for.

The all you can eat (≈$37/person) is totally worth it if you can eat a lot of sushi! Sometimes service can be slow and the staff kind of keeps to themselves, but I don’t really see that as a flaw because the quality makes up for it.
My absolute favorite that I think everyone should try is the Atlantic Salmon long roll! It’s unassuming based off the name, but SO GOOD! It’s topped with spicy mayo and salmon, and tempura asparagus in the middle!

Took my daughter out for her birthday party. 10 people at 40 dollars a plate. The hostess was very rude right off the bat, she was wanting everyone to pay for an all you can eat, but a few have never had sushi before and wanted just one item. She the hostess said there are rules and we have been here for 20 years and these are the rules. My wife told her just give us the check for drinks and left the place. I want to personally let everyone know NOT to plan any parties at this low life restaurant.

Delicious food, but the lady with the red jacket occasionally stood on the side waiting for things to do (it wasn't busy), but when she stared off into space she frequently made me feel like I was being watched and I never want to be here again. She even moved my menu out from under my food after I put the food down. Doesn't help that my boyfriend was brought the wrong dishes multiple times after waiting for a long time, despite me getting my food right away. They can't even spell "Gyoza" right on the menu. Not kidding, I almost cried. This is the kind of place that makes me want to go and mark all of the one star reviews as helpful so that one one has to pay $87 to have an absolutely miserable meal with their loved one.
Visited 2 years ago
Despite the quality of food being excellent, the service was abyssmal. Despite trying to order around their menu with a gluten allergy, their menu is misleading, and I was given the wrong roll. They obviously focus on rolls that are to go or for tables, not those at the sushi bar. The woman in the red jacket bothered my partner multiple times. If you don't have allergens and are willing to wait long periods between rolls (I waited 10 minutes for my roll, only to be informed it would be 5 more minutes) then this place is fine. If you want AYCE sushi go elsewhere.

This is the second time I have ate here and both times I have had incredibly rude service! My friends and I wanted to sit at a table and when we walked in I tried to sit at a table and he said “sit at the bar” and I said “ can we sit at a table?” He ordered us to sit at the bar. so my friends and I complied and sat at the bar even though we want to enjoy the experience with private conversations at a table. When I asked for a drink they clearly had that I could see in the fridge in front of me the waiter kept saying the drink I requested as if he didn’t know what I was talking about until I had to give him directions on where it was in the fridge. I was taking my ID out and they said they didn’t need to see mine but need to see one of my friends? I’m 22 btw. Since we were at the bar I was sitting right next to a stranger. I had no more room in my space at the bar so I placed my plates on the bar where they delivered my food and rudely the man said no you don’t put your plates there you wait until your finished and we will come grab them. I had no space! Other people were doing the same thing so what was I doing any diffrent? I probably would have been fine if I could have sat at one of the multiple tables and not the bar. I didn’t even want to tip but I did. After we left the restaurant my friends and I could not stop talking about how rude and terrible that place was. The food wasn’t even good. This place completely ruined our vibe I will never eat here again unless I’m desperate or very drunk

The customer service was quite bad.
They threw the menus aggressively on the table when I sat down. No friendly talk.
Just monotone voice asked what drinks we wanted and walked away. No “hi” or “welcome in”.
It gets worse.
There was so much hair in my food.
It was excessive. They didn’t even care. They only said “sorry”.
They didn’t offer us anything to make up for it.

Our kids were gonna order teriyaki and me and my husband were gonna order sushi. She was very rude about it. And said we couldn’t do it that way. Needless to say we will never be coming back. Terrible terrible service!

This is not the place for a family with small children.
We tried to go for dinner. We were not greeted as we walked in. After a while, the chef told us to take a seat in the corner and scoot another table next to ours. We were then informed that we would need to pay for all you can eat for our two small children (6 and 3) at half price, although we told them that they do not eat anything, and our 9 year old would be full price. We weren't allowed to choose a la carte for our kids; it was all do all you can eat, or all a la carte. So for two adults to eat all you can eat, we would have spent $150.
All of that would have been fine if the restaurant looked inviting. It did not. Again, no friendly greeting, no customers, and the floor was sticky.
This might be a good restaurant, but not for a family with small kids.

Ordered gyoza and it came out pretty close to burnt my friend didn’t want it and the lady behind the counter began scolding her stating they didn’t like wasting food. I’ve never in my life have experienced this at a restaurant. Very disrespectful and disappointing for this to happen. One thing to be rude and dry but to then publicly scold someone cause your food was burnt is absolutely crazy. You’d say thank you no response. If you want to be yelled at publicly this is the place to be.

Great value for price. It's a small place so service is quick. Overall we were happy with our experience.

Yummy and fresh! We had a big take our order and they gave us free hand rolls while we waited.

Poor customer services and keep asking all you can eat. It is a lunch time. No one wants all you can eat in lunchtime. Poor customer service and food.

We love eating here. Our favorite sushi place by far! Always delicious rolls. The Salmon Basil is my personal favorite!

Slightly odd but there is no way to beat the all you can eat sushi. Every sushi or nigiri we had was made amazingly and tasted wonderful. I had never sat at a sushi bar before so that was fun after getting used to it. I would definitely go again.

No better price out there, but all you can eat sushi for $36 is such a deal, I was able to eat four or five rolls and leave stuffed. Everything was extremely fresh and made right in front of me. It was delicious

The older Latina woman was very rude the two times I’ve been here and I just went there yesterday and she wouldn’t let me take home any of my leftovers but still made me pay for them. They have horrible service, they don’t even greet or seat you when you walk in or check up on you to see how the experience is going. I will definitely never be coming back.

Get the all you can eat and have as many rolls as you can put down! A you can eat also comes with apps! Just do not be that guy who asks for a box or shares...it's a great deal so don't take advantage of them!!

ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI AND APPETIZERS FOR 40$ A PERSON.

The sushi is good, but the customer service was awful. I ordered all you can eat sushi, I ordered the gyozas. And when they brought them to me they were burnt, I told the person I didn't want them because they were burnt and the lady behind the counter scolded me because I was wasting food.
They kept talking bad about my friendband I in Spanish, assuming I didn't speak it.
I am not coming back.

Mussels were cold inside and tasted old and chewy. Not much selection in the 40 dollar all you can eat menu. They pretty much ignore you so you feel like your begging to get everything. Gyosa was freezer burnd and flavorless. Sushi was sub par.

*not a traditional "buffet"*
One immediate pro to this place is that not everyone in your party must order the AYCE option. They can choose to order a la carte as long as you don't share with them.
I'm bouncing between 4 and 5 here but honestly, I'm not sure what all the other complaints about service are. Came in a group of 6, we each split rolls in pairs and had solid service. It's crazy that there are two main chefs preparing sushi for the customers as well as take-out orders and it is noticeable as there's downtime waiting for food, but it's understandable. As noted above, it's not a traditional buffet where you go and grab food as you wish. You're served as you get to order all you can eat from a menu.
You can get started with any appetizers and order them at any time. They're prepared in the kitchen so they'll be faster. However, they're lesser quality as you'd expect so wasn't really a focus of our visit. We didn't try any hand rolls as we focused on the long rolls the entire time, but do know that you can get the hand rolls as "long rolls" too, just the special rolls interested us more.
What was most interesting to me was the squid nigiri which is uncooked. I've never seen it offered anywhere and usually get cooked squid (i.e. calamari) so it was a very unique opportunity. For those who aren't willing to try - well there's an outer membrane that's hard like a vegetable and then it's slimy underneath. Not the best description, but it's something.
Main issues are that they lack seared salmon options, the price can be seen as a tad high, and the prep time can lead to long downtime.
Our chef, Marco I believe, was amazing and friendly the entire time. Ready our barrage of orders and he remembered 90% of them too. Pretty crazy to think of when you have 6 people requesting different items on top of the to-go orders he was preparing.
The time limit given is 1 hour and we got our checks after that had passed, but weren't rushed out. There wasn't a line or anything so that must've helped but I understand being rushed when there are others waiting. The interior is small and they want to serve others and the 1 hour limit is specified from the get go.

Double Crunch Roll - interesting take on the traditional double crunch roll, you're given more crunch flakes dusted on top of a roll with tempura shrimp and crab salad.
Special Roll - not sure if this rotates but inclined to believe so as there are no ingredients shown. What we got was a crunchy roll with crab salad, cream cheese, and avocado.
Cody Roll - lemon adds a unique twist as it's hidden under the salmon on top. Very evident in the taste but the mixture is surprising and helps reset your taste buds. I'd opt for this in the middle of a rotation rather than start with it.
S.O.B. - yummy roll, four kinds of fish with a creamy spicy mayo, nothing to complain about or note.
Pink Cadillac - tuna is more overwhelming in this roll but avocado is relevant too, wasn't a big hit.
Nobody's Home - one of my top picks, it takes a little longer because it needs to be baked but the result is a hot roll with delicious scallops on top. I'm not a big fan of cream cheese in sushi, but it was negligible with all the other amazing flavors.
Nick's Rock Belly - one of our least favorite options, there was a light sauce on top that deterred us. It's definitely edible and not that bad, but the sauce on top is some sort of watered down mango juice or other fruit juice that simply didn't pair well (at least to us).
Stacy & Joe Roll - one of our favorites, probably above Nobody's Home. A perfect creaminess with avocado on top of the roll and other ingredients placed inside. Would get multiple.
Three Stooges - did not order this explicitly but a pair in the party did and it was similar to barbecue chips. I suppose that's part of the smoked salmon, not a bad thing just something that stood out in first impressions.

Excellent sushi, and the selection on the AYCE menu is really good. The menu includes normal and specialty rolls, nigiri, and some of the appetizers for $36.
The staff is professional and friendly.
If you're hungry for sushi this is the place.

The food here is fantastic and the all you can eat is great but the staff are so rude and unfriendly that it kind of ruins the experience. Go for just the food.

Yummy, Yummy! Always a great experience. They don't limit you on the all you can eat and the food is always fresh. If you don't mind dropping $100 a person for sushi there are other places. If you want a fresh, yummy meal this is the place. The staff has been there for years and they know their customers. They are always friendly but it can be busy at times.

This place was very good. The all you can eat was amazing. Got to try some very good rolls. Service was on point at the counter and I didn't have to wait a long time to order my next set of sushi. I will defiantly make the visit again.

4 of us did all you can eat sushi, ~$37+ tax. Sushi was okay. There was one roll that no one at the table could eat. We ordered a variety of menu items, servings were good. Some questionable sauces used to top the specialty rolls that clashed flavors. Gyoza 🥟 were fried HARD.
The service was just so bad though... The staff were short lipped, rude and non communicative. Items were brought to the table without any communication as to what was being served. We had to ask multiple times each time things arrived, one staff ignored us completely when asked twice.
If you want all you can eat, and have no desire to talk to the individual serving you.... This is your spot. If you're a normal human with normal social expectations do not go here.

Best all you can eat sushi I've ever had. Amazing family run restaurant, our family has been going here for close to 15 years now! Well worth the price.

I came with my family this evening. My husband was referred by a co worker. I read the reviews alike any other person. I met who I presume was the owner. She reminded me of my mother, stern but deep inside kind.
As a bilingual person. I know that accents can be sometimes be perceived as rude and mean. I also know that coming from a different country means that one has different traditions, customs, and may perceive things differently.
I am happy we came tonight. We enjoyed the All you can eat sushi! The food was great and my 8 month old daughter enjoyed her rice. My family and I will be back.
Also, they were closed due to family reasons. Nothing business related. Businesses have gone through so much recently. I would hate to see another business go.
Empathy goes along way.

Foods great but the General running it is not very nice. Needs a few customer service classes. Oh and they have been closed for over a month now. Wonder why????

I was so sad when I visited Sushi Ring today after having been a patron for years. We came in and were told about two options then were told that we could make the decision on the dry erase menu. However on the dry erase menu there was no option to select all you can eat or al a carte. Once we receive the bill we found that we had been charged Al a carte. We asked if she could put it to the all you can eat pricing and once she returned she had charged us for three adults. Mind you it was two adults and one child. When we asked about this she said that it was ages under seven. However, the menu states ages 1 through 7. This would then mean that they would charge a child's pricing up until their 8th birthday. The waitress continued to argue with us about the pricing. It was so bad she ended up causing the scene about the whole thing when all she had to do was just say you know what you're right. There was no need for an argument. Sadly I do not believe I will be going back.

Disappointed, food was dry and overcooked ( calamari were fried to death, came without any sauce, chicken nuggets were over fried). The only 2 items that were good we're California roll and dragon roll
Service was bad and not friendly at all, every time we asked for something we faced the attitude.
The place is small and gets crowded quickly in peak times. People were literally standing next to our table waiting for us to finish eating.
Total disappointment, we won't be back and would not recommend this place.

The girl with the heart tattoo on her neck/chest was super rude, mean, & spiteful. She had a bad attitude from the start & was making comments in Spanish to her co workers as if my friends & I didn’t understand Spanish. She asked if I wanted more water then proceeded with using the bottom of the pitcher to bang the big chunk of ice into my cup right in front of me… Definitely not coming back, it was too ridiculous.

I came here with my daughter and husband. When we entered, nobody greeted us. We walked right in front of the two ladies and only then they told us to sit at the bar. My husband ordered water. The younger lady seemed annoyed and never brought it. After a few minutes, another family walked in and sat at a table. I then expressed that I would rather sit at a table by ourselves (instead of the crowded bar were apparently they were telling everybody to sit so they didn't have to walk out to the tables I'm assuming). The older lady replied, "you're fine there." How are these ladies still in service? So rude. She then added if we sat at a table we'd all have to order the same thing. Lol! Seriously? You reprimand customers for not doing what you want? No thank you! At that point we decided we no longer wanted to eat there.
