Well where do I start? It was freezing cold buy the window.
The waitress came back twice drinks not filled. the food was not very good.The banana pudding pizza and the little ice cream cups was the best thing at this place overpriced, not worth $19 dollars a person really was disappointed.We're not from around here.
Would not recommend it to anyone go to mcdonald's

I read the reviews and to be honest was apprehensive about coming but we were hungry and in the mood for a Chinese buffet.

We were treated when we walked in the hostess asked my daughter’s age because kids get a discount.

The place is a little dated but clean. The food was fresh and plenty of choices. One dish was a little cool but everything else was warm and plentiful.

The hibachi looked good but I was too full from all the other choices so I’ll try that next time.

Our waitress was the best of all friendly attentive

I recently visited the Hibachi Buffet in Chantilly, Virginia, and was thoroughly disappointed. The bathroom was in poor condition, with a broken faucet and a wet floor that made it feel unkempt. Many dishes on the buffet line were visibly not cleaned properly, often having residues or leftover marks from previous use. The sushi was particularly subpar — it lacked freshness, tasted stale, and was comparable to low-quality pre-packaged sushi from a grocery store that had been sitting for too long. The waitress wore gloves that appeared unsanitary and touched the top of my beer bottle, which made me hesitant to request a replacement. To top it off, a child with a leaking diaper sat at a neighboring table, and the staff failed to sanitize the chair after they left.

I’ve visited this restaurant regularly in the past, but these experiences were enough to ensure I won’t be returning. Cleanliness and food quality are non-negotiable, and they’ve clearly fallen short.

On a good day, they are good place for a buffet. Wide selection including various shrimp and fish, chicken, pork, and beef, pizza, chicken wings, sesame balls, plantains. They also have crab, mussels, clams,etc. Seaweed, assorted sushi, noodles, rice, Mongolian grill, soups, fresh fruits, cakes and ice cream. Really, enough to meet anyone's taste. It's not a date place but can feel very festive. Give them a try!

Nice place but the food quality is subpar. We came for sushi and the sushi had been out for a while so it was slightly hard on the outside and avocados were browning already. When I inquired if they would put new ones out anytime soon they walked away with an attitude and brought the chef out who rudely explained all the sushi is same day and that it had only been there for two hours. When I asked him about new sushi he rolled his eyes and said no then walked away.

This place is disgustingly horrible. Came for lunch on a Saturday at 12pm. Could not get hibachi grilled food bc all the cooks went on lunch at the same time. Said i would have to wait 20-30 minutes, even though I was paying for this. ALL the meat on the buffet was cold from the refrigerator. When we pointed this out they asked if we wanted our food microwaved. No fish in any of the Sushi rolls, all vegetables and imitation crab meat. Deserts are stale and old. This place is gross and dangerous. Avoid.

I was famished so I gave it a try. Price is cheap especially considering the current inflation. The only star is for the female server who worked hard. Sushi was not replenished regularly so most plates looked unappealing. Hot food was not even hot, just room temperature. One elderly male customer tasted a sour strawberry and then hand threw the whole plate of strawberries back to the buffet. How disgusting!

Was left waiting to be seated for three minutes while she stirred the warming pans, I had to walk over and ask if I could be seated . When paying the bill I think her face would have broken if she made eye contact or smiled. Didn't seem to want cash payment. If you expect a lot of food and those options it's standard buffet. Most of my choices were luke warm, pepper beef, fried shrimp, chicken and broccoli. Rice and noodle options as usual.

First of all, people working here were not nice. They need to be much more cultural with good manners. For the whole atmosphere we didn’t want to leave a tip but they told us that we forgot it. I would give 0 stars if it was an option. Dirtiest place i have ever seen in my life. This photo is the wall right next to our dining, table. Can’t imagine how dirty the KITCHEN is. I went to soo so many places abroad and never even taken a bus as dirt as this restaurant. I literally threw up when i got home. I just had to eat there at that time because my friend took me there. Otherwise i would’ve just walked out. Not to mention food was also cold, very greasy, waiters were so rude. I had to pay 20 but i’d never even pay a dollar to that experience.

The worker was asking about us at the counter, and when i told her my daughter was 8, she started looking up and down and saying “He’s 8?” i feel completely uncomfortable with this since they misgendered my daughter, and my daughter felt uncomfortable too. In this situation, i think that this was very weird for the both of us since my daughter was diagnosed with autism and. After that, i took a seat and ordered for sprite along with my daughter asking for apple juice. I went to the buffet and found everything raw and unhealthy. There was leftovers of other people which was disgusting. I’ve had my hopes up for this since i just came back in town, but this is absolutely no doubt the WORST restaurant i went to. When i thought it couldn’t have been worse, i went back to the seat and found our drinks on the table. They looked completely fine until my daughter complained about her stomach hurting after she drank the apple juice. I thought it was no big deal until i took a little peek at her drink and found a dead half-eaten cockroach floating in her drink. I complained it to the worker and they gave me a few cents and apologized. I found this completely disturbing and disgusting. Shut down this place immediately for everyone’s sake.

The food there was disgusting, and the service was terrible. I just wanted coke but she gave me a look and sighed loudly. I didnt mind at all, but it felt like she was disrespecting me. I didn’t care much of it, and after i ate my food she started demanding for a tip. She kept on repeating “tip” and i didn’t think it was provided. Then she had the audacity to push my disabled 5 year old autistic daughter, and ask my child to translate for me. I thought it was bad enough until she started yelling at me. The food was mediocre and the ice cream was just weird but its literally the service. We did nothing wrong and was just peacefully eating our food. My 8 year old sister needed a refill and so did me and my brother and the server literally asked us. After we said yes she mumbled “oh my god” like girl its your job and u asked us. We didnt really mind tho we just wanted to eat our food which was mid so we went to pay our bills and she was YELLING asking for a tip?? Like dude tips aren’t even mandatory there last time i checked and if u really wanted a tip you shouldve given us at least normal service. Im not looking for a 5 star restaurant service but i would like it if the server wasn’t rude for no reason. Ive seen the other reviews and some of them experienced the same type of problems. Not to mention she literally assaulted my little sibling behind her because we couldn’t understand her screaming “no tip included??” In a confusing accent. We are asian and my dad was enraged and confused. Overall this place is actual trash i feel bad for the owners for having to deal with GROWN up workers like this. Demanding a tip after this kind of service is actually insane bro and i even saw the exact same worker arguing with another older couple because she brought the wrong drink. I was eating with my family and our server was doing a mediocre job. We didn’t mind at all but she kept complaining about doing her job that she gets paid for? When she went to refill our drinks she was rude and mad, and sighed saying “oh my god” when my daughter wanted another doctor pepper. My kids are polite and said thank you etc. We didn’t mind really even though it was rude of her to do those things until she started getting mad for us not tipping her. I didn’t think and I still don’t think it required to tip especially if this was the service you get. She started almost screaming at us surprised saying “tip not included?” At first me and my daughter tried to understand her because we couldn’t hear her so she aggressively tapped my son’s shoulder which he was confused and uncomfortable with. She kept screaming “tip not included?” Until we gave her a 5 dollar tip. She really doesn’t even deserve that for her service. All she needed to do was just bring us our drinks and take our dishes away and even then she still complained. I was happy taking my family out but this lady was mad for doing her job. The food was overall good just not the service.

We went for lunch on a Sunday. The place opens at 11 am supposedly. So I was hoping that getting in at around 1230ish will get us hot fresh food as we almost were in the first batch of customers.
Now, I always try to give local establishments a fair shake when it comes to giving reviews. I want local places to thrive and grow big and be successful.
However, I really cannot find anything of value in this place now other than the rice maybe. Everything in the buffet counter was cold. At 1230pm on a lunchtime! I got the beef — cold. I tried the fish — cold. I went for the wings — cold. There was steam coming from beneath the trays but has obviously not made it through the food. Which tells me, they were most possibly leftover from last night and being served now but has not reached serving temp. When I bit on the duck, I can almost taste bits of hardened grease. I wanted to ask the server if I can warm up my plate in their microwave so I can at least eat some of whatever I got. But, I thought against it.
I hardly like dessert. This time, I had to get some fruits. Cantaloupe, honey dew, strawberry ice cream in a cup. Just to have something. And my strong Asian stomach didn’t agree with the food I had.

I just made a firm resolve. This will be our last time coming to this place.
Seriously, not worth the $48 I paid ($18.99pp +tax+tip). I honestly want to give this place a decent chance. Unfortunate, but this place needs a serious upgrade. I hope the management will look into ways how to improve the food quality. It used to be a decent place where I used to bring coworkers for lunch. With today’s experience, I’d go somewhere else.

The food is always cold. I’m sure it’s not being kept at safe temperatures. And they will let the same pieces of chicken sit out all day from 11 am until closing time at 9 pm, and then put it out the next day. You can tell by how dry it is. Not just overcooked dry, but like the chicken has been mummified from sitting out for so many days. This is a health code violation. Even when the chicken odd freshly cooked, it’s hard and overcooked.

And recently I found hundreds of small bugs in the chicken with broccoli. This place has really gone downhill. It’s such a shame.

I was there today and the place is big and pleasant. first our waitress, Susan was great, smiling and very cheerful, full of energy. As for the food, it didn't taste FRESH. Specially the seasoned Oyster and cooked shrimp. The meat on The crab legs pieces were completed mushy an indication of Staleness. I could not finish it. There was one piece of hair around the Fresh cut lemon. I wish all workers at the restaurant wear hair cover but I know many restaurants in our area do not have that policy. The sushi was good except the seasoned oyster that tasted stale. White Fish was completely tasted State, I could not finish it. Men's bathroom was Ok. No soap at the dispenser, Big block of Paper towels on the sink counter. But it was clean, mean the floor to be honest. it is a great place, I got there lunch time. I used to come there years ago, Food quality used to be much much better than Today's visit. Best thing there is the Pastry and fruits no doubt. It might be easy for any restaurant to reuse cooked food to save costs, but customer will feel that and negative response will be rebuild

Decided to take my two daughters to a nice Sunday lunch while in Chantilly. The food was decent and was having a pretty nice experience overall. As we were eating our dessert the check came to which I put my card down and off it went to be rung out. Got receipt and added a bit over 10% as tip $6.14. About ten minutes later get approached by the waitress in a panic saying she mixed up tables and I owed an addition $5.86 as the age of my youngest wasn’t right. I offered for them to reverse the whole previous charge and correct the $5 error. By that time I was ready to leave cause this scene was not my idea of a nice lunch with my daughters and proceeded to the counter to handle. The waitress seemed to know exactly where that $5 was going to come from after a $6 tip and they decided to just let us leave as I paid and tipped what I assumed was our bill. Horrible customer service experience and you choose to lose future tips and customers from that. I felt so embarrassed and humiliated in front of my children for simply paying my check. I get mistakes happen and that’s ok but you also have to choose when it’s a mistake that you have to embarrass the customer for or to just say oops. Shameful!

Recently visited the hibachi buffet and had a mixed experience. The food was decent, with a good variety and flavors that were satisfying. However, there were a few issues that marred the experience.

Firstly, the front desk lady asked my niece her age, which felt a bit intrusive. Additionally, the service could have been better. They brought the bill to our table before we had even finished eating, which made us feel rushed.

If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. We brought our niece here for graduation. The majority of the table is military. They treated us so bad. I asked the gentleman at the buffet a question and he turned around like I wasn’t speaking to him I asked another guy when hibachi was gonna come out. He told us that we could wait after ignoring us And eating his food. The woman at the front desk was acting like we weren’t gonna pay because of our skin color. This experience was horrific. It was our second visit to the restaurant, the food is good, but on both occasions we have had a bad experience with the lady in front of the front desk. She is an arrogant and racist person. She questioned our youngest daughter's age and she told us in front of everyone else that she thought our daughter was older. It is unfortunate to be in the 21st century and have such rude and rude people in a business. We opted to leave and not consume more at this buffet. Our daughter was harassed for the second time by this person. I think there are ways to let it be known if you want to charge full price for a child we had paid for. but we cannot allow them to violate people's dignity, especially a child. I hope this comment lets you know that you are there for the people who consume. And it is unfortunate that this place is occupied, this place is boring and bitter.

This was probably one of the most cultural authentic Hibachi I have ever gone to. There were mutiple fish dishes ranging from grilled, fried, steamed, etc. They also had pigs feet, roasted duck, and a lot of different types of chicken and all the other favorites found in other buffets. Sadly, I didn't get to stay long since I had to go to the airport.

Another part that was unique was how big the plates were. This allowed me to make less trips and just not spill any of my food while eating. But the problem with this is that the tables are not that big. So if your table is seated to the max and one person finishes a plate, the waiter/waitress need to immediately take it away.

Since the tables are small, the chairs are also sort of small but this gives us a wider walkway.

I was very surprised with how fresh all the sushis were even though they were not busy during lunch.

I also liked that there there was just 2 very long parallel rows of hot/cold tables that were also spaced very fall apart.

This was my 1st time going to this restaurant. This place is a nice size. The buffet was in the back. It had a Hibachi grill, Chinese food, and sushi bar. I got something made from the Hibachi. It was freshly cooked, however, needed seasoning. The sushi bar was okay. They had crab, shrimp, and other seafood. I only made one trip to the bar. I didn't feel like this restaurant was for me. This place is terrible, customer service horrible. Even though you are paying, they treat you like you are eating for free. Food is terrible, no taste. When you ask for something, they look at you weird. The place is empty because because the food is custom service is horrible. I would not even give them a 1 star, but I had to because of this review. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. The food was really good and the servers were attentive and nice. The man behind the counter making sushi was extremely unprofessional in his interactions with guests. He would say derogatory things under his breath when you came up to the counter and made some of the customers in my party very uncomfortable. His interaction ruined my experience here and I’ll think twice about coming back.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was considering the relatively low ratings I saw. I stopped in for lunch today and the bill was less than $20 with the soda included. That's impressive, most other buffets I go to are $20+ to start. They had a full spread of food even for lunch, the only complaint I have was they weren't all labeled so I had to kinda guess which one was which. The sushi selection was my favorite. There are a lot of options, and it doesn't seem to overdo it. No food tray stays out for more than 4 hours, and there are signs around that confirm this. The food itself was pretty good, your typical Asian fare mixed with some American classics, and this was the first buffet I'd been to that had sauteed octopus. Pretty neat find around here. Will probably go back one day.

WARNING: VOLATILE SUSHI EMPLOYEE.

The older man who cuts the sushi started screaming at me and my dad in Chinese, because we picked the sushi in the middle of the plate and not the front.

Dude was actually waving his sushi cutting utensils around twisted it, grabbing the buffet tongs from my hand, and started screaming at me and my father.

Very hostile and scary situation. Management didn’t do anything until the sushi “chef” started to get violent and disturb the other guests. They then told me to understand cause he’s an older man who doesn’t know better.

Hm, Idk about you but I’m not eating at a place where am having tongs grabbed outta my hand and being held physically threatened.

Don’t come here. It’s Chinese buffet hell on earth.

EDIT: The hand that was grabbed and twisted is now sore. Thanks. Also, with the way the chef was screaming I doubt any of the sushi was safe from his spit particulates.
