Everything was super good. I especially enjoyed the thin slice brisket and the pot stickers. There are lots of options to choose from, so there is sure to be something for everyone. People kept burning their food so there was more smoke than the air system could handle. The guy bringing us the food was great as well as patient since we had never been to a place like this before.

The first thing I heard when I walked in was “I’d like to pay so that I can get out of here.” (Apparently the two had been waiting over 15 minutes to pay their bill after they were finished) So that wasn’t a great start. We were seated after just a little while and then had our order taken. Thankfully my wife’s food came first, but the rest of the food took a while. I was fine to wait, but then half my order was forgotten. We had to grab one of the staff and ask about if it was coming. It seemed that it was sitting there ready to come out. Just wasn’t picked up. And again, just like the other two that came out before us, we were stuck waiting to finish and pay our bill.

The food is fine for the price, but I would recommend ordering ahead with carry out or some delivery service. The service is what really gives this place a 1 Star. Beyond that, it’s fine.

I went to dinner with my husband at this place. The environment is cute, fancy, different and has a good vibe.

The waitress Maya was great with us, she served us very well, explaining how the all you can eat works. She came to our table several times, always very polite and understanding if she didn't like the taste of some options.

They have a menu full of options, however, few we liked. To tell you the truth, we found everything very greasy and seasoned in a way that we didn't like, despite the atmosphere and the great service.

Fun and different from the usual date night dinner.

Ryan was a fantastic server. He did a great job explaining things and making suggestions for menu items. Which is nice because for the BBQ, you get the pleasure of making your own meat at your table.

This was a fun experience that will give us something different to do once in a while.

The cooking makes it a little hard to have a conversation over the table. But not horrible.

The meat was such a nice surprise! Having had a lot of kbbq around the state it is really rare to get thick nice cuts for all you can eat. Everything I had was fresh and delish! For the price especially for lunch it can’t really be beat.

I really recommend the pork belly!

I wouldn’t get any sushi here it wasn’t great and it didn’t seem like there was any vinegar in the rice. Chicken wings are also a skip they had no flavor and a lot of breading. Miso was very nice!

When I go again I’ll probably just stick to their amazing meat!

It is a little messy and dirty which I don’t mind but something to note.

Our server was awesome and very detail oriented.

If I lived by here I’d be going for lunch once a week!

Very willing to make your long rolls exactly to your specification . I order custom rolls and they offer a double IPA which is a beer I enjoy immensely. Take a look at the quality of the hand rolls the price is more then reasonable and this lady has been amazing .

Cool vibe walking in but left disappointed. While waiting for our first round of meats to arrive, I went to the salad bar. There were very few options but also horribly unclean plates everywhere. All of the sauce trays had crumbs in them and the shiny plates had visible stains on the edges. Same with the silverware.

From the sauce choices, the chili paste was absolutely rancid. It tasted like old peanut oil, which is shocking since I’ve eaten 2+ year old chili paste that was already opened without flavor issues. It didn’t have any of the spice you would expect either.

They only allow 1.5 hrs to eat, and the grill was cooking so slowly it felt intentional to run the clock. We kept needing to turn the heat up. Once we finished our first round of meats, it took maybe 15 minutes just to get the next order. Our drinks were empty half the time, and our waiter was infrequently seen. The third round of meats took at least 20 minutes to get to the table, and repeatedly we had items missing from what we had verbally ordered.

As for the meat flavors, many of the items lacked seasoning/marinade and cooked bland. Do NOT order the pork belly, it was like rubber and just tasted like you were eating the fat. The sides are pretty good, the best was the Jalapeño poppers. The crystal noodles were super fun and well seasoned.

Auto gratuity of 18% is added for groups of 5 or more. That’s a high expectation when you’re cooking your own food. Overall was decent food, but for the price, it’s just not up to par and not worth the visit in my opinion.

First time for me, and I am so glad I ate here. The food was AMAZING. All of it is delightful. The real treasure of the restaurant is the service, though! Our waiter was just always on top of things, always stopping by. On top of that, he was very mindful of culture and customs. Even changing the grill and keeping food separate for those who needed it. VERY impressed.

I love ichiban!! My favorite roll is the paradise roll, so I will get three of those and my husband loves the tiger, ninja, and vegas roll. They have the best sushi and I know the pricing is scary but it is 50% off!!!!

Ordered over the phone about 9 rolls and 15 minutes later it was all waiting for me. Inside was clean and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. The person at the front desk was pleasant and payed attention to me as soon as I walked in. Service was great and I was out the door with my pickup order in no time. The food was stellar ! We were very disappointed with the food here. We did the AYCE KBBQ and had 1 sushi roll.
To start, the sushi we ordered was the Vegas roll that was suppose to have salmon, avocado, and cream cheese. Now we were very hungry, so we kinda ate it real fast before we realized there was no salmon or avocado in it, we were like welp it was only $6.
Next, the KBBQ was not great. First, the beef belly was sliced way too thick. The beef marinate did not have the right flavor, marinate was something you would use on chicken. And the other meat had mostly fat on it and very chewy.
Little to no usual side dishes. They had fruit, but that was pretty much it.
We have been to plenty of other KBBQ and this rated as our lowest one.
The server was very nice and the look of the restaurant was great, but will not be back here again.

Just went there after a very long day of work I had been wanting sushi all day long waited an hour before I finally got any food the ice tea tasted like dish soap I was told there was a huge party they were very busy that’s why I had to wait I asked for a discount because one of the orders was covered in piles of cheese unable to eat it and the drink was horrible they didn’t offer a new ice tea just took it away. They only gave me $5 discount I have been coming here for years I will never be coming back again very horrible service I’ve never waited that long for food other then the party I was the only customer dosent make any sense very disappointed o even said hey you can throw in pot stickers make things right the manager said no. Okay then

It's not bad just isn't worth the value like some other kbbq restaurants are. You are limited on several sides to a certain amount per table. The meat wasn't the highest quality but overall tasted good.

We love ordering from So Grill Korean BBQ and Sushi. The sushi has way more sashimi in it than any other sushi restaurants in the valley which surprises me, and they are delicious! Huge menu to select from with sushi, appetizers and their daily Korean BBQ buffet. Great presentation of food with decent taste.
Hostess and restaurant owner are always very friendly and smiling! Thanks for the great food! : )

My husband and I love Korean bbq but this place is the worst that we have been, we were close by so decided give it a try, the quality of the meat is definitely not there. Better go to Ombu or kou that are on the same price range but better quality. So sad to say that we spend our money here.

The food was very good. The service was great!! Then we asked for a box and lo and behold. A small box was $6 and a large box was $12. What a rip off it was a small very small square foam box that really turned the whole experience bad the answer was no tip and that’s not cool, but that’s what I did. I would have thrown up if I ate any more of the food I cooked so I was not about to leave it there. The table tour are right left uncooked meat, a plate of potstickers and rice because I’m sure they didn’t want to pay for a box. Even the photo though the food was very good I will not be back

July 14th Sunday between 2 and 2:20. My girlfriend and I waited for 20 minutes and weren't served AT ALL. We were the only people in there. No other patrons. Waited 20 minutes. If that's how it is when it's completely empty, imagine what it's like when there's even one other party. I've never had that happen anywhere before. Ever. Don't go here!

We were severely disappointed in the food quality the meat was fatty and chewy and tasteless, I couldn't figure out how to de poop the shrimp so I didn't even try to eat it. The Vegas roll was mostly batter. They said they had a salad bar but cantaloupe and tasteless pineapple doesn't make a salad bar. They had some sort of potatoes salad that I didn't try because I had no clue what it was. Service was friendly. We will never go back.. I feel bad leaving the negative review because the server was nice but I was shocked when spending 26.99 for the all you can eat and most of the food was inedible.

Upon arrival the first 5 employees I saw looked unqualified for the workplace in general. The host that sat us looked like very unpresentable like he had been homeless for the last 3 years. He had no problem letting us know that 3 booths were “broken” and could not be seated in. And there was zero reason to tell us that because there were plenty of booths available to be seated in. The server tried to get the grill started and couldn’t and had to have 2 other employees to get it to work. After ordering the server had to come back and ask us our order again because she forgot. I thought that their food must be phenomenal if their service is this bad. But it wasn’t, I went from famished to no appetite after 4 bites.

Been here before and it was decent, went back and my gosh business must be tough. First it was popping now we were the only ones there, and I've had to be next to a bathroom for the past 48 hours, it wasn't from our own cooking it was from bad meat that just looking at I was afraid.. their side dishes seemed 2 days old, really unfortunate. We love korean joints and well never be back to this one.

We recently visited this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's graduation. Prior to our visit, I checked their website and noted that dinner prices were listed as $23.99 per person. However, when we received the bill, we were charged $26.99 per person. Given that our party consisted of nine people, this discrepancy significantly increased our total bill. While the 18% tip was appropriate as our waitress provided excellent service, I was disappointed when the staff responded to my inquiry about the price difference by stating that I should have called to verify prices instead of relying on the website.

For future patrons, please be aware that the current dinner price is $26.99 per person, contrary to what is stated on the website.

I was honestly shocked at just how bad the quality of meat was. I understand it's all you can eat so they probably have to get lower quality meat, but everyone in my party agreed it was hands down the worst Korean food they'd ever gotten. Waitress was amazing however and really made it a better experience than it could have been. Still 1 star because we literally couldn't chew the majority of meat they gave us due to bad cuts of meat (sinews, ligaments and tendins in everything) as well as the fact the chicken wings we ordered were dangerously undercooked. I took one bite and spit it out and still ended up on the toilet all night long.
Won't be returning but I hope the waitress finds a better restaurant to work at because she was super helpful.

This place has good food and big portions! My group was a table of six and when ordering off the menu the waiter made sure both sides of the table had enough of the food. I am vegetarian and their was plenty of options to choose from, the vegetable pancakes were my favorite!

Compared to other Korean BBQs in the area this isn’t the greatest. We felt very rushed and often were not able to finish talking before the server just walked away. We had issues getting all the food we ordered which was very irritating, especially because there’s an hour and a half limit. Atmosphere was okay, however, there were children running around the restaurant screaming.

We had excellent food, the marinated meats were so good! I loved the tempura and potstickers.
When you order the BBQ, You can order sushi for a reduced price and it looked delicious, others had it. Try the kimchi fried rice, it's so good!
They had the cleanest ladies bathroom I've probably ever been in, honestly!
Can't wait to go back!

I ordered the Galbi plate and it was extremely delicious and the quality and quantity was amazing.

We use to love this place and go all the time. But the quality of everything has been declining recently. But recently we have hit the final nail in the coffin when me and several people got good poisoning on our most recent visit. The service isnt as good as it used to be. The food quality isnt as good as it used to be. We loved this place but it looks like its time to find a new place to go.

Let me tell you about South Korean BBQ and Grill, folks. It's absolutely tremendous, believe me. Their service? Lightning-fast, just like the way I make deals. And those rolls? They're the freshest you've ever tasted, I guarantee it.

When I walked into that place, I felt like a winner, surrounded by the best flavors money can buy. It's the kind of dining experience that'll make you feel like a billionaire, folks. So, if you want to make dining great again, you've got to check out South Korean BBQ and Grill. It's going to be huge, believe me.

A good value for an all-you-can-eat, but every cut of meat we had was fatty and most of the side dishes were fried. It was a heavy & greasy meal and your bowels may not thank you... 🫣 Service was pretty good though! And the crab jalapeno poppers were fun (though it's immitation crab) and I liked the tempura. Personally I prefer Umami for Korean BBQ, or better yet Korean BBQ in Asia, but this was fun for a one time try.

My experience at this Korean BBQ restaurant was truly amazing. The server was absolutely fantastic—so sweet and explained everything very well. Moreover, they were incredibly patient with us throughout our meal. The only downside was that I couldn't enjoy a salmon sushi roll due to their inability to guarantee that the fish wouldn't come into contact with anything that had touched shellfish, due to an allergy.

Went here for dinner with my daughter. We got some potstickers that were good not great. The service was on the poor side but I’m too nice to give one star. Very quiet. The “salad bar” was very small and everything seemed like it came from a can. There were cut up orange slices that were so dried out you reach for water immediately. It was fun to grill your own meat at the table. It gets smoky in there. Our sushi was good and the plates are cool.

We come here all the time. Lately we feel that the quality of food has gone downhill. Tonight our grill was rusted pretty bad. I’m sure that’s a huge health risk. Tongs and scissors still had food on them. It’s like this place don’t have a dishwasher. It’s almost like they just run it over water and use for the next customer. Also every time we go up to get sauce the sauce platter has dried up food on them. You guys really need to start washing everything before other customers use them. This was our favorite place but we had enough of this. We also wondered why we would get sick after eating here and now we know why. Awesome place but not clean.

We have been to many (authentic) Korean BBQ places, and we won't return to this one. This was our 2nd time here, and the food and drinks are just low quality. Except the thin sliced beef (#1 on the all you can eat menu), most of the meat is extremely stringy, fatty, and hard to chew. I appeared pretty much like very cheap meat, marinated, to give it some last use. The drinks tasted pretty bad, dominated by those chemically flavored mixers (the cheap mix-in flavored stuff you buy at the supermarket); and our visit was overall disappointing. In the beginning the place was full and our poor waiter was responsible for 10+ tables. He was very nice, but it took forever to get the meal started. Once the place emptied, the service was great, but the quality and taste of the meat is definitely in need of improvement.

My fiancee and I went here not to long ago. The server was extremely rude. Our grill was also covered in rust when we asked for a new one the server rolled her eyes said sure then never came back. We ended up getting food poisoning and having to cancel the rest of our date night.

Waiter was so unbelievably rude and controlling. He kept changing our order saying we shouldn't be ordering so much food at once, we needed to order only one of a certain dish at a time. First of all we are paying the dinner price for all you can eat and second of all we know we will be charged per plate of food if we leave any waste, this wasn't our first time here but after this it will be our last. He ignored us all night and when the bill came I saw that he tipped himself $10 and that's why he didn't care, he already knew he would get his tip regardless of his terrible service. My husband and I shared one water because he kept promising to come back with his drink and he never did. He just kept walking back into the kitchen and leaning on the counter and blatantly ignored us. I also noticed they've swapped out the meat we used to love for cheaper lesser quality meats that were so tough I thought it was leather! Don't waste your money here! Rude waiter, asked for water twice and waiter ignored/forgot my request. Even with a rubbish service their rules state an automatic tip of 18% because of our party size. I’m pretty sure the waiter was being extra rude and lazy because he knew he’d get his 18% tip regardless. Food was poor and tasteless and to request more meats is near impossible. Was better off spending the same amount at olive garden and actually getting a good service. Never coming here again and will make sure everyone else is aware of the standards they hold.

Food quality was relatively low for the price you're paying. Short ribs were hard to eat and not worth the effort. Wings, bulgogi, and jalapeno poppers were best things we tried. The sushi was mediocre as it was loaded with rice and very little fish. Server seemed a bit nervous or strung out, but still did a great job. My girl and I both decided we much prefer a Brazilian grill style place better than this. This place is a lot of work and cost to just feed yourself with chopsticks and not exactly an experience I care to repeat.

So Grill should be renamed to So Gross. The worst Korean bbq I’ve ever been to. It’s dirty and has questionable meats. Utensils were not cleaned and still greasy. Staff was ok

Everything was super good. I especially enjoyed the thin slice brisket and the pot stickers. There are lots of options to choose from, so there is sure to be something for everyone. People kept burning their food so there was more smoke than the air system could handle. The guy bringing us the food was great as well as patient since we had never been to a place like this before.

This establishment decides it’s an amazing idea to always buy all the Soju from the Liquor Store next to them (bottles at the liquor store are not even $4) and RE-SELL them for $15!! They don’t even let you take the bottle with you 😂 the server had the audacity to laugh at my face and say “well we don’t buy all of them”, the liquor store employees are even angry that this is legal for them to sell something out that other people also want to try!! I have never eaten here but I always wanted to try it, after realizing that they are the ones to sell all the soju out every single time and resell a 3 dollar bottle for 15 dollars…I’ll definitely pass. Serves are a-holes to say the least and their ethics are definitely worse. Save yourself from this really expensive low quality food!!

The food was good but we were a little disappointed that, as for the Korean food, it was more like a buffet as you could not just order a Korean dish or two. We weren't that hungry but all-you-can-eat was our only option so it cost more than we expected.

This was my first time visiting So Grill. My family and I went for lunch time. The All You Can Eat Lunch was $17.95, if I'm not mistaken (this includes the salad bar). We thought that was a fair price! The meat cuts we ordered looked fresh. I would recommend ordering the beef fried rice, Jalapeño poppers, and the 'Bomb' sushi roll. We appreciated that our waiter was checking on us a reasonable amount of times, too. I would come here again if I'm in the area!

Wow! The servers were so nice! They chatted with us and the food was way better than we thought it might be. Because we are used to LA Korean bbq in Korean town. Make sure you try the bulgogi in the all you can eat dinner. We enjoyed our time here and it was also a unique experience cooking your own meats in front of you. They went out of their way to make sure we had all the sides we wanted. Definitely recommend for a date night or a get together!

Do not get the Salmon filet unless you want to taste the fishy taste all night. Had to be some sort of catfish. Kinda made me nauseous when he set it on the table. Stick to the beef can’t go wrong with that.

Great price point and killer ambiance. Very moody black and red decor with Chihuly looking glass lighting. BBQ was very good and LARGE portions, beware not to over order! The sushi was not as good as I was hoping though . 2 of us got rolls and the rice was mushy and very limited fillings inside. It may have been a fluke,not sure So something to consider.

Good sushi, terrible customer service. We typically always do pickups from here, whatever that’s worth.

Pickups are always late, tonight I waited 40 minutes for our order. Staffing shortages and delays happen, but there was no effort to ease my obvious frustration, no apologies, just an ultimate “have a nice day”.

Can’t help but wonder if they made me wait longer because I didn’t add a tip upon arrival (two door dash orders came in later and left before me) - paying online wasn’t an option for whatever reason.

Anyways, I’m in the market for a new sushi place :)

Horrible service! Dirty tables had to use our own sanitizing wipes) Took forever getting our meats and food, they brought the appetizers almost at the end and they were COLD. We tried to order more meat so it could be ready when we ran out of it completely (again he was taking FOREVER to get food out) and the server (HE, an Asian older man) flat out DENIED bringing more meat and said: "when you are done with the meat I will come back to take your order of more meat" and at the same time he offered more WHITE RICE when we were not out of rice (his logic does not make sense, but obviously he was trying to fill us up with rice LOL) well he never came back and we had to ask the cashier for meat, (which at this point I was so upset that lost my appetite but my husband order one more of thing of beef) . Overall, he never came to check on us we had to ask for drinks to be refill or napkins, or tongs etc and things like that as he walked by us ignoring us. Quality of food was not good either, this place didn't use to be like that, not sure what happened.

Cute enough place. I am appalled at their drink prices for what you get. I ordered a Lotus Bomb. The glass that it came in was unbelievably small for a $12 drink. Tasty little rum and juice drink for all of the two sips that it took to finish it. I liked the food somewhat, but not enough to be back again. I didn't care to be seated near the hostess booth. Service was friendly but fairly slow.

The meat was such a nice surprise! Having had a lot of kbbq around the state it is really rare to get thick nice cuts for all you can eat. Everything I had was fresh and delish! For the price especially for lunch it can’t really be beat.

I really recommend the pork belly!

I wouldn’t get any sushi here it wasn’t great and it didn’t seem like there was any vinegar in the rice. Chicken wings are also a skip they had no flavor and a lot of breading. Miso was very nice!

When I go again I’ll probably just stick to their amazing meat!

It is a little messy and dirty which I don’t mind but something to note.

Our server was awesome and very detail oriented.

If I lived by here I’d be going for lunch once a week!

The food is okay, but my boyfriend threw up in the bathroom immediately after eating. There is a very small selection for making your own dipping sauce and the side dishes looked expired (wilted or excessively soggy) or had been sitting out for some time. I think that’s why he might have thrown up. The proteins are decent but the only positive is that the customer service was great…!

Got the bulgogi beef that was suppose to come with 3 sides but didn't. The meat was literally scraps of burnt meat and tastes AWFUL. Sushi was good. Honolulu was cooked unevenly and sauce was unevenly distributed. Not the best packaging for this type of sushi as it melts the bottom of the container.

I went to dinner with my husband at this place. The environment is cute, fancy, different and has a good vibe.

The waitress Maya was great with us, she served us very well, explaining how the all you can eat works. She came to our table several times, always very polite and understanding if she didn't like the taste of some options.

They have a menu full of options, however, few we liked. To tell you the truth, we found everything very greasy and seasoned in a way that we didn't like, despite the atmosphere and the great service.

The food is good and theres plenty of options on the menu. They are a little expensive. I find that my wife and i typically spend $40 per person. They have several really odd rules, such as paying per pound for your leftovers. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and fun.

I always go here when I am craving KBBQ, and the food is always wonderful. I had to rate this review lower than I usually would due to the rude customer service from my server yesterday. When taking our order he told us to use the number which is fine but he proceeds to say "We have to use numbers to order here because the chefs here are I guess Chinese or Japanese or something" then made it a joke that they couldn't understand English. That made everyone at the table uncomfortable. Whenever we wanted to order more food he would walk away when we were in the middle of giving him our order. I cant tell you how many times this man walk away from us when we tried to speak to him. We did have a bigger table so they automatically made us tip him $30.00 but I hope that $30.00 goes to the people in the back because I never been treated so rudely by a waiter.

My server was great, but the food was bad. I got the all you can eat dinner and ate almost none of it. Shrimp- not deveined and tasted off. Chicken tasted ok, I ate a couple bites of that. Beef brisket was fatty and had brown spots on it, ate none of it. Kimchi rice was alright.

DO NOT RECOMMEND; grill caught on fire and it wasn’t our fault

Ok so I called a 2nd time letting the person know I would be pushing back the time a little bit because I was running a bit late- the person booking my reservation was a girl and answered in a rude way. Afterwards we got seated and our server came , a male, and he didn’t even ask if we knew how the grill worked. We were a big group so we kept ordering off all you can eat dinner- and he just looked annoyed !

The worst part was: HE NEVER MENTIONED WE COULD CHANGE THE GRILL..so the grill started to catch on fire. all the servers came and looked ANNOYED AT US and everyone was just watching as if it were our fault. Clearly, it was the server who needed to let us know. We felt irritated and ignored.

Fun and different from the usual date night dinner.

Ryan was a fantastic server. He did a great job explaining things and making suggestions for menu items. Which is nice because for the BBQ, you get the pleasure of making your own meat at your table.

This was a fun experience that will give us something different to do once in a while.

The cooking makes it a little hard to have a conversation over the table. But not horrible.

Very willing to make your long rolls exactly to your specification . I order custom rolls and they offer a double IPA which is a beer I enjoy immensely. Take a look at the quality of the hand rolls the price is more then reasonable and this lady has been amazing .

Service was good, meat especially what they call rib eye was more like a round. Got a lot but no matter how it was cooked was tough. Maybe if the slices were thinner it would have not been so tough. The server was good and prompt, other meats were good. The side dish could have a bit more seasoning.

A few friends and I love coming here, we always have the same waiter and he is always very helpful and friendly.
The appetizers are great, and they have a few delicious rice options to go with the meal.

I was so excited to try this new Korean bbq place and it wasn’t what I expected. The plates were dirty and didn’t seem they were cleaned very well. As their food it didn’t seem fresh. I order lettuce so I can wrap my meats in it, but unfortunately that didn’t happen as the lettuce seemed old and had bugs still in it like they weren’t washed. Though it was expected as the place didn’t keep the dishes cleaned. And the Customer service was poor. I would rather go to Ombu grill than this place.

The food there tastes funny, flavor is not good, also the sushi is not fresh, my niece had some sushi there this noon, and end of sick by throwing everything up after one hour, I will not suggest eat there.
