Contemporary bistro & bar offering sushi, small plates & teppanyaki meals, plus a robust sake menu.
The Sushi and Nigiri were perfect. The server was wonderful and very helpful in helping us pick out our dishes. The decor is okay but some of their tableware and the actual menus need to be freshened up. Overall a very satisfying meal and experience since it was our first time.

My wife and I had a great experience at UniKo. We were greeted immediately upon entering. However, it was not very busy. Sushi is one of our favorite meals and this sushi did not disappoint. The sushi was very fresh and the presentation was excellent for the Two Kings roll with the flame. We started off our dinner with spicy edamame and a seaweed salad. For our main course we had the fried rice, Tono roll, Firecracker roll, and the Two Kings roll. The fried rice is one of my favorites and any Asian Establishment. With this rice, it was one of those, don’t judge a book by its cover because looking at it, it appeared it would be very bland. It was not at all and had great flavor. Our server was excellent and very attentive. Thank you Liya for our Anniversary dessert. The only downside to our visit were the chairs, the chairs appeared to be old and wore out and no bottom support.

My boyfriend and I went to celebrate our anniversary. By far the best sushi I’ve ever had. It is VERY expensive but the quality is phenomenal. The service was amazing, our server’s name was Isabel C, and she was very attentive and helpful with her advice. She was very friendly and sociable, checked on us often and always at the right time. I cannot stress enough how amazing the quality of the fish was and the rolls were phenomenal. The flavors were so well balanced.
We won’t be able to afford going here often as it’s about an average of $30 per roll and we eat a LOT of sushi, but if you’re looking for some solid quality this is it.

everything and i mean everything is top notch. the sushi melts in your mouth, the drinks…dont even know what the bartender made us, some concoction was fantastic. i dont know what we ordered but i have pics the sashimi was what melted, OMGOODNESS!! will go again. and had ceviche again. It’s the second time I’ve had good ceviche here in San Antonio. The ceviche here had big chunks of shrimp and fish. It was really good different.

Amazing dinner date! Madison was an amazing waitress- so attentive and polite. The sushi chefs did incrediable rolls and looked the part. The vibe was young and elegant and we will 100% be back. I feel for a high end sushi spot the prices were more than reasonable. Must try!

Wow! The restaurant name says it all. This is a unique sushi dining experience. Every dish we ordered was a delicacy to all of our senses. We even stayed a bit longer to enjoy some cocktails, only to fall prey to ordering second dinner after seeing other plates roll out of the kitchen and not wanting to miss out on those flavors.

GREAT FOOD & GREAT SERVICE.
Best quality Japanese food I’ve ever eaten. Appetizers to Entrees to Deserts… everything tasted delicious. The fishes were so tender, good portions and the best service. The interior was so beautiful. Platings were so impressive.
MUST TRY - Tuna Tower, Lobster Roll, Flan.
Yummy 😋

My husband and I went to Uniko for date night. My husband read about the restaurant in an article and suggested we go. We were so happy with the service and food. Our waitress was Camille. She knew the menu and the best whiskeys to try. The house wine was amazing. We showed up near the end of happy hour and was able to sample to quick bites. The food is absolutely amazing. Decor is modern and fresh. We will be back again soon.

This is one of our very favorite places. We go for every anniversary and birthdays.
Tonight was awful! They have expanded and the quality has gone downhill.
This place used to be special….. fish was super fresh and every was delicious.
Fish was chewy tonight and not fresh.
Sadly, this is our last time.

Since when a restaurant, like there no others, around, but Uni’Ko place is really accepting only privileged people!? It was humiliation and discrimination of a person! Awful atmosphere! Service is ZERO! There are no any service! The greeting person was not polite and not diplomatic, because she was tuned against by some manager and not let us in? Now, how come a manager decides who will be able to enter the Japanese restaurant? Let me be clear, businesses keep away “personal” and we are not in Japan! Or we are?! that was on 31 st of October 2024, on HALLOWEEN night!

Place was nice, Sunday 6 pm not busy… The waitress was not paying attention to our order set up on counter for 15 min. Then she brings my wife’s order 20 min later and says sorry. Omg ! On top of that had my wife order incorrect and another sorry!!! I felt like I was begging for more wine ! Guess she forgot again… we will never go back ! Beware…

Very interesting. The ambiance is a date night vibe until you hear the playlist- Motley Crue was the first song. Then no song for about 20 minutes. Then another interesting song choice. The hostess, who was also our waitress, was very polite. But when I asked for soy sauce I think she had to go to Japan to get it. My husbands, almost undercooked dumplings (or potstickers) were cold and bland. I ordered the Tono roll. It was basic. The songs were silly, the prices were silly and the food was underwhelming. Honestly, you could go to H-E-B and get Sushiya and it would be better. Also, you would get your soy sauce sooner... Never got it. My husband said to put what we were served- regret.

Sashimi is the best with rich flavors, fresh cuts, and incredible wasabi. Amazing service and all the best imported fish from different areas on the globe. A bit quaint in space and very intimate, will be tough for large groups unless you sit outside. But as a Californian visiting Texas, thumbs up on this sushi spot!

My wife and I discovered this absolute gem of an eatery in San Antonio just 45 minutes from our home in Fredericksburg. We have both lived all over the world and the United States including Los Angeles and Toronto, cities known for their exemplary sushi. This place is our absolute favorite! The Atsui roll will blow your mind. It is a must when experiencing this wonderful establishment. The Escolar Nigiri is a staple for us as well. The only thing I will say is that we do stick to the regular menu typically as the special rolls tend to be a bit overly complicated. The staff is always very attentive and the owner can often be found mixing it up with his valued customers. Do not believe the bad reviews! Do yourself a flavor (wink) and check out Uni’ko Japanese House!

**Uni'ko Japanese House: A Culinary Oasis in La Cantera**
Nestled beneath a charming bar, Uni'ko offers a unique and inviting dining experience in La Cantera. With both indoor and outdoor seating, diners can choose to soak up the vibrant atmosphere or enjoy a more intimate meal.
The outdoor patio is particularly delightful, featuring a soothing water fountain that creates a tranquil ambiance. Perfect for warm weather dining, it's the ideal spot to savor your meal and sip on a refreshing beverage.
The menu at Uni'ko is a culinary masterpiece, featuring a diverse range of Japanese-inspired dishes. I highly recommend the Vegetarian Teppanyaki, which I had the pleasure of trying during my visit. The fresh vegetables were cooked to perfection, creating a symphony of flavors that tantalized my taste buds.
I opted to replace the sticky rice with fried rice, an excellent choice that added a delightful crunch and savory flavor to the dish. The portion size was generous, leaving me feeling satisfied and content.
For those seeking a refreshing accompaniment to their meal, I suggest ordering a bottle of champagne for mimosas. The mimosas were perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness and effervescence.
Overall, Uni'ko is a culinary gem that offers an exceptional dining experience. The delectable cuisine, charming ambiance, and attentive service make it the perfect destination for any occasion.
**Must-Try Dish:**
* Vegetarian Teppanyaki with fried rice
**Tips:**
* Make reservations in advance, especially for weekend dining.
* If you're planning on ordering mimosas, opt for the bottle of champagne for a more cost-effective option.
* Allow ample time to savor your meal and enjoy the serene ambiance of the outdoor patio.

The experience was the most UNI'KO, experience of all my sushi dine ins. Ernesto and the wait staff were very professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable and recommended the rolls and drinks to compliment them. The ambiance was superb, from the second of opening the doors to the second walking out the doors, they make you feel like MI Casa is Su casa type feeling and it definitely will be a place we return frequently because there is no place like home. Thank you, Ernesto, for making my family and I feel at home.

The sushi is as good as you would expect for the price being paid. It seems simple but the soy sauce-seasoned edamame (spicy sauce on the side) is arguably the best I've had. Service is also about what you'd expect given the price / location. But I had to remove a star for having multiple busted tables that wobble like crazy. The first table was so hilariously wobbly - like it was part of a prank show it was so bad - so we moved to another table that the server also had to add a wedge because it was also very wobbly.

Great food. The chef studied in Japan and it shows. They make real wasabi and that is a star of the dishes. The fatty blue fin with wasabi is worth the visit alone. Everything is good.

Usually, I write primarily positive reviews, and this place has a chance to be remarkable. The food was excellent, one of the best sushi rolls we have had from around here, and there was a pleasant atmosphere. However, the service here was HORRIBLE!!!!!! The place was not busy; we kept seeing the staff huddled in the back corner, our server kept forgetting items, and lacked refilling our drinks. Even my daughter tried to wave to our server without getting help. We live just down the street and would love to come again, but the staff here left a terrible taste in our mouths. The manager and owners must address these issues, or folks will stop coming over time.

Came here for my birthday dinner with a couple of friends and the service was absolutely amazing. The food that we ordered no matter what it was a role or the appetizers or the edamame, it was all prepared immaculately. The wine choices were also phenomenal to pair with everything and the desserts were the perfect ending. I would definitely come back here.

This was our first time eating here. At first we were apprehensive when we walked inside, no one was seating us, a server was talking with loud, drunk guests who were cussing, we stood and stood and finally another server sat us who was serving all of the other tables. He was absolutely wonderful and he had another server with him who was really great as well. This ended up being one of our top experiences with the best sushi we've ever had. Service, atmosphere, food, experience, and drinks we topnotch! We will be back. Our favorites were the miso soup, Edamame, Toro roll, Tuki roll, and the salmon nigiri. We also enjoyed the apple sake, next time we will try the white Peach. Try this place, you will love it. Oh and they received a fresh shipment of the HUGE bluefin Tuna and we got to see them unboxing it, added bonus. Our server even brought some to our table to show us a give a little lesson on thr different parts of the fish

I hadn’t been to this particular place in more than 5 year. Had been wanting to return because we had a good experience then. Finally was able to return and was EXTREMELY disappointed with this place the service was horrible we didn’t get sited until after like maybe 15-20 min of our arrival granted their was only customer in maybe 3 tables the place was literally empty. It took 3 staff member to clean the table they wanted us to sit on even thought their was other tables available clean. Then we get sited our water was literally tap water with no ice, and a few minutes later a manager or owner friend show up and everyone caters to that specific table at this time they are taking our order and noticed that we were waiting longer for our food that was Oder before the owner or manager friend table they did get their order way before ours and not once did the manager approach our table or the other two tables. Will never be back to this place and everyone who has asked me about this place is getting a negative feed back from my end and a customer . When all we wanted was a good early dinner with our kids.

Well, this is a difficult review to write. We arrived and were seated promptly, but that is where the decent service ended. The server arrived about 5 minutes later with warm water, told us a bit about the menu and then vanished for the next 40 minutes while we watched her chat with friends and served the people around us who came in 20 minutes after we did, and so on. After trying to get her attention for over half an hour we left. If you go may the force be with you. Maybe with powers of levitation you might acquire some, fish and rice and manage your own sushi dinner.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would!!! I called and made a reservation the morning of for 7PM. When my friend and I got there, we sat for 5 minutes and then got informed that the restaurant was closing early due to a “random deep clean” and that we needed to order soon…. We ordered, got our COLD food, and the staff started stacking chairs on the tables preparing for closing while we had just got there. Our server sucked, and didn’t feel bad at all about what was happening. I will NEVER come here again. This is awful business.
Visited 2 years ago
Came in 2 hours before closing and was told they were getting ready to close in two hours and weren’t taking anymore food orders & then was told there wasn’t anywhere else to sit while there were 4 tables open, then was told no one has gotten their food while literally everyone seated had food in front of them. So I was basically told 4 lies within the matter of 2 minutes. I just walked away because I could clearly see they didn’t want to service me because of my color. That’s okay because I had an AMAZING experience at KONA GRILL! I hope the girl who didn’t greet me with a hello but “um we won’t be taking anymore orders” has the life she deserves. I also watched & waited from a distance for a few minutes and watched three people walk in, sit down AND get their order taken.

Uni'ko offers a truly unique experience. From the decor to the food, this definitely made for a memorable lunch.
As a party of 2, we were seated quickly which was a pleasant surprise for a Saturday.
As a starter, we ordered the beef sashimi. The dish included several strips of raw meat on a plate and a separate hot stone to cook the meat. The meat was so tender and very tasty. This appetizer is not to be missed, but be sure to place all the meat on the stone as soon as possible to ensure the beef cooks before the stone cools too much.
We also ordered two sushi rolls which took quite a while to come out, but we're worth the wait.
The Romeo and Juliette roll was served on a long plate with fire (and possibly sugar) along side it. This made for a somewhat room temperature roll but was still very delicious. It included salmon and was topped with spicy tuna. The salmon was partially cooked from the heat of the fire, which added to the flavor. The roll was delicious but also very spicy.
The other roll we ordered was the Kani which was a little more basic but also very good. The shrimp was very small, even for shrimp, but overall was fine.
The seaweed salad was pretty good too. It was a little spicy but also very tasty.

To sum up my experience: good service, elevated atmosphere, presentation and price but food is mediocre. I came for dinner on a Tuesday night around 7:30. The dining room is small with around 10 tables and a small 4 seat sushi bar(service for around 35-40 people). They also have outdoor seating on the terrace with nice landscaping near a fountain. The decor is modern and the music sounds like Asian dance groove. I had no trouble getting a table right away. I ordered the spicy edamame, mixed green salad, Vegetarian teppenyaki, hot tea, and chocolate ganache cake. The salad was a good size for the price and beautifully presented but it was swimming in this spicy dressing- only order of you love wasabi. The teppenyaki came with steamed or fried rice surrounded by vegetables. The flavor left something to be desired and I didn’t feel the portion was a good value for the price. I think the dish could be improved by adding tofu. The hot tea was a stash green tea bag and the chocolate ganache cake tasted stale. I never received the edamame but was still charged for it. The server was very nice about removing it from the bill. The bottom line: it was acceptable but I wouldn’t come back.

Muy chico el lugar, pocas mesas.

We went on a Monday night so it was really quiet. The spicy edamame small plate was spicy but not very flavorful. We also had the miso, which was decent. The kama roll is just basic. It didn't seem fresher or tastier than an HEB roll. However, the kara roll - deep fried soft shell crab - was soooo yum! The salmon nigiri was also creamy and fresh. Definitely go for the wasabi- it's not the paste you get at other places. If I were to return, it'd be for that kara roll.

From my experience, this restaurant truly delivers on its promise of serving some of the best sushi in town. The quality of the sushi is exceptional, and each bite is bursting with fresh and tasteful flavors.
One of the standout features of Uni'ko is their commitment to using the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Whether you're ordering a classic roll or a more adventurous specialty sushi, you can taste the difference in the quality of the ingredients. Each piece is expertly crafted and presented beautifully, making for an overall elevated dining experience.
In addition to sushi, Uni'ko also offers a range of other Japanese dishes, including tempura, udon, and ramen. Every dish I tried was delicious and well-executed, but it was the sushi that really stole the show for me.
The atmosphere at Uni'ko is modern and sleek, with a minimalist design that puts the focus on the food. The service was also top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu.
Overall, I highly recommend Uni'ko Japanese House to anyone looking for exceptional sushi in San Antonio. The quality, flavor, and presentation of the sushi is truly outstanding, and it's clear that the restaurant puts a lot of care and attention into every aspect of the dining experience.

Food was wonderful, service was horrible. The waitress was knowledgeable about the food and made some great suggestions, however she had to be asked several times to bring our pot of tea and she never checked in with us between courses.

Always good!
Al fresco is my favorite.

Definitely far less than mediocre. Lobster sushi was tasteless. Lots of tasteless imitation crab dishes trying to disguise as kanikama, hoping that you don’t know what it means. Fried rice was more like steamed with overcooked vegetables. Well, I wouldn’t ever go again and recommend it to anyone.

Great Japanese atmosphere. Terrific quality of foods and menu variety. Our waitress was outstanding, and the taste of the meals was well worth the cost. *****

Everything was delicious! We went for a date night and this was a wonderful surprise for us both! The atmosphere was beautiful and the service was friendly, but the food stole the show. Presentation and flavor were 10/10. I wish I remembered what all we got, but I only remember the tuna tower and it was perfect. This will be our new spot for future dates and we can't wait!

I love the spot it is located in. We sat outside and there was a nice breeze going. The food was great, we ordered the beef fried rice and different sushi, which they were all phenomenal! Overall a great location to go eat at!

Probably the best Sushi in San Antonio.

Small restaurant, fully staffed, seated next to the rear POS station. After ordering then getting drinks nobody checked in on us except for the lady pouring water for 35 minutes. We caught a server's eye and she asked if we wanted our check, we said we were waiting for our food, she says Ok and goes to her next table. At 45 minutes our waiter come over and says there's been a problem that they have fixed, the tickets have not printed in the kitchen for the last 30 minutes. Strange, food kept coming out from behind the red curtain. He says our food will be right out. 10 minutes later he's back with one entre and a few minutes later brings out the 2nd entre and our appetizer. The food itself was very good fusion Japanese. The staff then became very attentive at trying to clear our table and get us out. Check came with zero comp and no apologies. Not going back.

The quality was subpar. I really expected for more from this place based on its location. Let’s start with their salad. It was terrible. You can not serve cut cucumbers mixed it with finely chopped octopus, toss it in a bowel with water down lemon juice (I think, it was just bad). The cucumbers needs time to marinate, the salad needs octopus. I didn’t want a $20 bowl of cucumbers. Now on to the sushi rice. It was pain and did not have the right reasoning. No umami flavor. The fish was not great. The grade was poor. For the price, I expected higher grade fish. Lastly, if a sushi place can’t have fresh sushi ginger then we have an issue. The wasabi and soy was poor in taste as well. Sushi is not just about the dish. The condiments has to be fresh and high grade as well. It completes the entire experience. The eel was dead for sure. It was burnt! We ordered rolls and sashimi. We left very dissatisfied. The ambiance and service was great.
To summarize, we won’t be going back. The offering is not worth the money. 1 star for the food, 1 star for ambiance and service.

We were wanting to celebrate for my brothers birthday while we were in town and I did a lot of research before choosing this place.
Let me just say, we were BLOWN AWAY!
1. Stellar service, our server Rebekah was so attentive and made us feel super comfortable and gave our experience that extra wow factor.
2. The sushi- omg amazing! The tastes and different flavor profiles from the different rolls we got were just such a treat. I was so happy that we loved each roll that we ordered. So fresh and delicious!
3. The location. I did not expect this beautiful apartment complex that reminds me of a resort almost like Atlantis in the Bahamas. You can take a stroll beforehand and take pictures and then after dinner walk around too.
The only thing is that the restaurant is a bit small so not that much space and it was kind of hot inside. But honestly that didn’t take away from our amazing experience.
I will not stop raving about this place and would recommend to anybody looking for a special place to have high quality sushi!

Extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism at this restaurant. Being asked to leave the table due to poor scheduling on their side is beyond rude. Food was mediocre especially for the price. No A/C. Recommend going to other places at the Eilan instead.

This gastro experience was awesome. Definitely going back when I go to San Antonio. It was just truly amazing. Very good rice, very good meats, lovely staff, and for me, a justified price.

Very limited menu. The sushi is very expensive and not worth the price. We tried the crispy cheese balls. They were square chunks of deep-fried cheese with a breading that tasted like what a spoonful of plain bread crumb would taste like right out of the container. And the cheese inside didn't have any flavor. The dipping sauce tasted like something out if a bottle. Like ketchup and sweet and sour sauce mixed together. The sunomono salad was pretty good but could have used a litle more sauce. We asked for a California roll which is not on the menu. It was fair but the rice was dry and also flavorless. I was planning to try more sushi if the California roll was good, but nope! Could have gotten a better one at the HEB sushi counter. We also tried the beef teppenyaki. The beef was little chunks. Some were tender and some were chewy. The rice was also dry and tasteless. The vegetables were ok. The whole dish lacked flavor. $29 for what tasted like someone threw rice and vegetables in a dry pan, then over cooked the rice and threw some chunks of meat in with no seasoning. Very blah. The service was fair but our California roll sat on top of the the sushi counter for a very long time before it was delivered to our table. There was only one other of two people there. The atmosphere is ok except the entrance to the kitchen is unsightly and hung with a long curtain that doesn't quite close and there are supplies on the floor that stick out from under it. The place is small and the music is kinda loud. Hard to have a quiet conversation. Our bill was $65 for two people. Way over priced for the flavor and quality of the food. Won't be back again. A waste of time and money at a anothere mediocre San Antonio restaurant.

Great food.
I’ve eaten in the best places including in Japan.
The plate presentation, freshness and combined flavors are almost of those from Michelin guide.
However, the young female server totally ruined what otherwise would have been a perfect evening.
Never comes back to the table.
We have dined with the dirty dishes on the table the entire night.
To start with, I had to go and get a spoon for one of our Miso soups.
I had to ask for a second side plate when the main dishes arrived because she only brought one.
After we finished entrees, we felt like little sushi out of their specials.
She had no knowledge whatsoever what ingredients were in the specials of the night.
And when the specials arrived, we still had miso soup dirty dishes on the table as well as the entree’s dishes. She dropped the specials and walked away.
Terrible service!

It was okay. Small atmosphere. Prices on menu are MORE than prices listed on their online menu.

Service was sub standard. I was at a table for 4, every time the first 2 guests ordered the server left and never took the other 2 guests orders. We had to wait for refills of water and tea, sushi was ok.

Drove here only to let us know they couldn’t seat us due to understaffing.

Walking in, I couldn’t help but notice the music (louder than I needed) and the wall decorations. The first impression is more of a club than restaurant. That might be appealing to some, but not me. However, it did not deter us from having a meal. The cucumber crab salad was the best I’ve had anywhere! The nigiri was very good. Each piece was topped with fresh wasabi. Speaking of wasabi, the pickled ginger and wasabi paste were some of the most flavorful I’ve had in a while. The “Two Kings” roll (picture) was presented on a flaming platter. The roll was good, but more saucy than I care for. Service was good; however, unfortunately, our table was adjacent to the wait station and so we got to watch the waiters texting between attending to customers — really — not a good look. Overall a good experience, but we’ll keep looking for a better value for sushi.

The food and staff are fantastic. If you have the time, just ask for the chef to make you his 3 favorite rolls. He will make you items not on the menu, that he is proud of. You will not be disappointed. Exquisite.

I ordered to go so my rating is related only to the food plus service and not the location. Two dishes: Ahi tuna tower and combination fried rice. The ahi tuna tower was really good, but the combination fried rice was so so. And I expected a bit more in quantity for the price that they charged for the rice. Ahi Tuna - 5 stars. Fried rice - 2 stars. Price - 3 star. Service - 3 stars (nothing bad, just not exceptionally welcoming at 2 pm in the afternoon when it wasn't busy).

After spending a good while at Andretti's arcade by Top Golf at 1604 and I10, I'd been wanting sushi since Sushi Neko (Las Vegas). I'd been craving sushi and Google Mepped closest sushi place. Uni'Ko popped up. We had a great experience at Sushi Neko that seeing the overall 4.3 star score gave me doubts but I said, what the heck let's try it. It's in the eilan area and we parked across from the restaurant in the business looking parking lot. We asked a valet driver if it was ok and they confirmed we would be fine. We were casually dressed and it already looked pretty upscale for our outfits. Upon entering they asked if we had a reservation. "Do we need one", I replied. I figured we'd be turned away or there would be a long wait but they said if we wanted to sit at the sushi bar we could order and eat. Of course we did but I'd like to call out there is only 3 seats at the bar. We were in luck as no one was at the bar! We ordered the large Chirashi, La Cantera roll, Romeo and Juliet roll and Lobster roll with an apple sake and a peach sake. Everything was delicious. The quickness that we were served was impressive. The presentation was great! The staff was friendly and had us laughing.
The large Chirashi had a good amount of delicious fresh fish with a hefty amount of rice.
La Cantera roll is a bit on the spicy side with tuna on top. ( one of my husband's favorite )
Romeo and Juliet roll is a riceless roll with a but of citrus and lots of fresh tuna and salmon (my favorite)
Lobster roll is a fried roll and not spicy. ( husband's 2nd fave )
The atmosphere was very casual. The price range is medium to high. They brought the check in a tiny treasure chest. Totally worth the price tag, definitely will be going back! I will look into a reservation to be on the safe side.
Sushi Neko and Andretti's review in their respective Google Maps sections. 😀

THE place for sushi in San Antonio. Can’t believe I took me 2 years to find out it’s right down the street. Fresh ingredients and amazing wine. If it’s your first time there you want To be treated by Omar. He is so nice and will know exactly what roll will work for you. Omar made my experience one of the main reasons why I won’t go anywhere else.

This was far and away the best sushi, sashimi and nigeri I've ever had. Everything we ordered was spectacular in presentation and taste. We got great recommendations from our server, Eric. Even the sake was delicious. Dessert was wonderful, too.

A destination for San Antonio Japanese cuisine Asian Fusion and Wine Bar, especially for the sushi/nigiri. After the miso soup, I had a fresh roll artfully served with a delicious sauce. The tempera ordered by my dinner companion also special. Service personal, salubrious and informed. The wine selection alone worth the climb up the hill above Fiesta Texas. Easy off from I-10. A must stop for a lunch or dinner.

Amazing Sushi!! By far my favorite sushi restaurant in San Antonio. The atmosphere is very peaceful. I come here all the time with friends and I’ve never left disappointed. Can be a bit pricey, but definitely worth it!! The Two Kings roll and Tuna Tower are a must if you plan on stopping by!!

We went to this place few weeks ago and we were told we have to place a reservation even if they had a window of 2hours on the book available but told us no.
Last week we tried to to call to reserve but no one picked up the phone, today we did the same but we where in the restaurant and he didn’t answer the phone so confronted the same rude host, he told us that he is not picking up the phone because they are fully booked?! What? What if i’m calling to reserve for and other day? This boychild is selecting profiling the customers. Shameful! I don’t even care at this point, the reviews speaks for itself now that I’m writing one and seeing them. Weird place. Glad didn’t eat here. San Antonio is a big city full of great place to eat, this place looks small with unprofessional staff.

Great and above board service. They had our reservation wrong and tried to seat us outside. We got this corrected in about 5 minutes, so no big deal. The sushi was alright. The appetizers as well. Overall, I found it over priced for the flavor and experience. I'm glad I went, but I doubt I'll return.

Enjoyed the whole experience. The food was excellent and the staff was phenomenal. The only thing I would recommend is for the menus to be updated to larger print. It was very hard to read due to the small print.
