KĀI is an Asian-inspired restaurant that serves classic Asian dishes with European and French influences, in addition to a broad range of Pan Asian dishes. The restaurant features a light and airy interior, with mid-century modern décor and inviting wood tones, three bars and two stunning outdoor patios overlooking the skyline. Upon entering, guests will experience live entertainment from our chefs, as they prepare dishes off the Robata grill, sushi and sashimi stations. KĀI has the largest robata grill, also known as a Japanese charcoal grill, in Dallas-Fort Worth, with the most extensive robata menu in Texas.
Kai at Legacy West nails it. It’s sleek, lively, and layered with an Asian-inspired vibe that makes you feel like you’re somewhere special. My friends and I sat down, immediately drawn in by the energetic atmosphere—dim lights, stylish decor, and the low hum of good conversation mixed with some great music.
The standout? Their hot stone cooking. Watching thin slices of meat sizzle right at our table was an experience in itself. The aroma, the sound, the hands-on moment—it made the food feel more personal, more memorable. And that wasn’t all. The sushi was on point: beautifully plated, with creative touches like taro chips that added crunch to each bite. Each roll had balance, from fresh fish to a perfect bite of rice, and unique toppings that you don’t find just anywhere.
Drinks were well-paired too. A good wine or cocktail here feels like it belongs with the meal, not just an afterthought. Service was warm and attentive, adding to that “we got you covered” feel. The menu might make you pause when you see the prices, but Kai’s experience is worth the splurge.
Kai is more than just dinner; it’s a full, social experience with top-notch food, a lively crowd, and an ambiance that makes you want to stay a bit longer. It’s the perfect spot for when you’re in the mood to treat yourself and make the night a little more special.

Kai is consistently a great place for drinks, food and celebrations. The ambiance is super hip - the dining room is nicely decorated, the lounge area is super trendy and the bar is cozy.
The drinks are always excellent- they have a wagyu beef washed and infused Miyazaki old fashioned for $48 😇 - it comes in a tray and they cook the wagyu skewers on the tray then place on your glass and pour the old fashioned over it. It’s a fun experience and the cocktail tastes great. The legend of Taro is a unique and amazing (but sweet) cocktail and so is One night in Bangkok. You can’t go wrong with their cocktails, wines and liquor collection.
The food is superb, hot dishes, cold dishes, sashimi/sushi and mains are all very tasty and recently of perfect portion size!
The lobster tacos, hamachi crudo, rock shrimp tempura, bone marrow or lobster fried rice, salmon/toro nigiri and Steve roll are all fantastic!! A must try is the Eggplant miso - very unique and delicious. You can’t go wrong with ordering most of the dishes on their menu, including the desserts.
Really not much to complain food/service wise. The food comes out very quick, drinks could take some time depending on the business of the bar.
Things to improve would be lighting in the main dining room - it’s too dark on most tables (expect the ones of the sides), so you constantly have to turn on flash light to read menu and actually see the food/drink! Also the tables are tiny when you sit with 3-4 people. So if you order a few dishes it gets really crammed up on the table - they should upgrade to normal size tables and better/comfier chairs. The hostesses can be a bit aggressive/ curt - I think they are trying to build an exclusiveness in their approach which doesn’t really work. We were moved around 3 times before finding an average seating spot.
It continues to be a must visit place for some Asian fusion food with great music and ambiance.

Kāi was a pleasant place to eat at. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is uniquely designed. The only thing I disliked is how a small 6 rolls of sushi was about $20 each. Even though the restaurant is purposely grand, the sushi rolls could’ve been either bigger pieces or at least an 8 to 10 count for how small it was. But they did taste good. Dont come here on an empty stomach, unless you’re willing to pay $200+. Overall would come here again.

Love trying new restaurants but every now and again you return to a classic.
Me and a friend made a last-minute decision to visit Kāi for sushi and perhaps live music.
The food is good but be prepared for smaller portions. The margarita, however is next level. There are two choices: $18 and $42. The difference in price depends on which size you choose. I chose the smaller of the two; beautiful presentation (see review pics).
Me and my friend had the best seats in the house. We were situated between the restaurant and the lounge and could easily see people coming and going.
I recommend going for food then staying for the music.

Came here on a solo date for my first time visiting. However, I didn’t feel so alone while I was there. The staff was very polite and nice. The ambiance was amazing and highly aesthetic. Perfect for solo dates, groups, and families. They played live jazz music, which I love. The food was incredible, especially their oysters. Hands down the best I’ve tried thus far, and their lamb chops were amazing! Please go asap, perfect for photos inside and outside the restaurant since it’s located near Legacy West Hall and shops.

Went here for date night & was truly disappointed. It's a really nice trendy place. However, it was so dark where we were seated that we could barely read the menu. I ordered the Mongolian beef & it was way overcooked. It tasted burnt & charred. The dumplings were good & so was the curry soup. My husband liked his salmon. But for the price you pay, the portions are very small. The service was good until another table was seated, and then we had to ask the manager for our check, just so we could leave.

Sushi is small and not that great. We love the calamari and Mongolian beef. Drinks are great too. We come on Fridays for the latin music and dancing. They only play reggaton and merengue. My recommendation would be to also play cumbia, bachata and salsa. We love this place for the atmosphere but would love it more with a larger variety of latin dance songs

You’re paying for the “vibes”
Awfully dark inside, good luck reading the menu
Ordered the black cod fish, excessively overpriced for the portion size. Only a sliver of fish with a small side dish of rice, and that costed more than $30
Ordered sushi and again, I have never seen sushi roll that was cut so thinly and small for $15
For true sushi experience, you’re much better off spending your money at a much more worthwhile place just down the road

The food was amazing! I'm definitely planning future visits. Highly recommend the xiaolong bao dumplings. They were so flavorful and soft, practically melted in my mouth.
The interior is very pretty with nice mood lighting. Although, depending on where you are seated, it may be hard to hear anyone speak over the music.

I recently hosted a surprise 50th birthday party for my mom at KĀI, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we started planning, Nichole Koulouvaris, the incredible general manager, was there every step of the way. Her attention to detail was unmatched—no request was too big or small. She connected me with top-notch vendors for everything from florals to a party bus and even custom 50th birthday napkins.
The night itself was nothing short of magical. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. As the evening progressed, the restaurant transitioned into a DJ dance club around 10 pm, and our party continued with fantastic bottle service. The drinks were top-notch, especially the espresso martinis, and the bottle service team made us feel like VIPs all night.
My mom had an amazing time, and our guests were raving about the event. If you're looking to host a memorable celebration, KAI is the place to do it. I highly recommend it—Nichole and her team will make sure your event is a huge success!

Don’t bother your self. I had a very disappointing experience at Kai Lounge. From the moment I walked in, things just felt off. The staff was inattentive and seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than serving customers. I waited over 20 minutes just to get a menu, and another 30 minutes before my order was taken.
When the food finally arrived, it was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. The quality was nowhere near what I expected for the price. The drinks were equally disappointing; my cocktail was watered down and lacked any real flavor.
To top it all off, the ambiance was ruined by loud, obnoxious music that made it impossible to have a conversation. I was hoping for a relaxing night out, but instead, I left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied.
I wouldn’t recommend Kai Lounge to anyone looking for good food, good service, or a good time. Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about its customers.

For starters this is a foo-foo place. This is not a foodie place. it's generally a place to see and be seen, and enjoy the vibe. If your expectations are low, and you’re just in for drinks and a few apps, you’ll enjoy. If you want to enjoy dinner - go elsewhere, like Earl’s next door, for great eats. Toulouse or Masero make great other options. But its failures lie in the details… For Kai’s upscale positioning, and price-points, they definitely need to be detail oriented. For instance, their chopsticks are cheap, they need better ones like now. Not the same 20 cent splintered ones you get at Chinese take out. The food is average, to above average but nothing unique for the pricing. Generally the portions are on the smaller side, but depends on what you get. The $120 Peking duck is better at Dragon House (in Southlake) or Kirin Ct (Richardson) for half of what they charge here and with real authenticity. Not to mention, they give you actual plates and not appetizer plates. The other places know how to serve it. For instance, our server forgot the streamed flour wraps that make this iconic dish what it is - not bring it 5 minutes after the dish is served. The best example is it's like a Mexican place serving fajitas without the tortillas. For $120 for a dish, It's nuances like this, that they need to get right. This place tries to appeal to be a jack of all trades Asian, but misses the mark in delivering the the native dishes they try to emulate. The sad reality is they can get away with it, because it is popular. Another area of dismay is how they tend to turn people away, (creating an illusion of scarcity to get a reservation - which in actuality they had many tables available and the Omakase dining area was empty -- that too for a Friday evening) which is a lack of candor. Overall we are led to the presumption that they think clients are unsophisticated, will end up paying a lot for average dishes, and are not world traveled to know the difference.

I am not one to leave reviews, in fact, this is my first in many years. But the service from Alejandra was so astoundingly terrible that I felt compelled to leave one. I came here with my friend for her birthday, and we were seated promptly. We waited 10 minutes before anyone came to our table to give us water and ask if we wanted drinks, which we declined. I asked for an appetizer, and it was brought out by another server after 10 minutes. After we had been there for 30 minutes and no one had asked for our entree orders, I went to the host stand to ask if they could send someone for us. She apologized profusely, but unfortunately another 15~ minutes went by and we were unattended. The table next to us had ordered omakase and were seen 8-10 times while we had only been seen once. Finally Alejandra returned to our table to ask if we wanted any more food, and we were able to order. The food was brought out 30 minutes later, and my order of soup dumplings was forgotten and left off of the delivery. We ate our food (it wasn’t very good) and asked for the check. Another server had to come and take our receipt as Alejandra had not come for some time. I was sadly never brought the soup dumplings, but thankfully they left it off the receipt as I imagine our waitress forgot to submit it on the ticket at all. Very very disappointed; overpriced, underserved, and underwhelming food have caused me to leave my first ever 1 star review. If you decide to risk it and come here, I hope your experience is better than ours.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at KAI. Lauren, the bartender, was attentive and gave us incredible service; not to mention made some amazing cocktails. Nichole, the manager, checked in on us and made sure everything was perfect, and made some menu recommendations that really made our night. The halibut was incredible and the ribeye was perfectly cooked and balanced with the sauce. We let them pick 2 desserts for us and both were sublime. All the staff—from the hosts to the food runners and the other wait-staff —were all so friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for an amazing spot for dinner or to grab a few cocktails, this is the spot. Can’t wait to come back soon!

Trendy instagram worthy restaurant and lounge in Legacy West. I visited on a Saturday evening for a birthday reservation, you enter to the lobby/foyer area with option to take the stairs or elevator up. Upon entry, I was greeted by friendly smiling hostess who helped me to navigate to the rest of the party already seated. Our server was personable and friendly, she explained menu choices well and patiently helped make selections. We ordered a variety of sushi for a table of 6 ladies, she explained it would be served on a large sharable platter; overall the sushi was flavorful and fresh would definitely recommend.
We ordered differing drinks, I had the Kai- Arita it’s a frozen drink similar to margarita, with Don Julio, very different flavor but in a refreshing way.
Seems like a popular location, around about 7pm the place definitely filled with more patrons.
Would definitely visit again in the future.

I don’t know the name of this employee in this restaurant but whoever hired her didn’t check her experience with customer service. Many restaurants in the area are pet friendly and we came to this one to enjoy a family dinner. If the place is not pet fiendly, there is no need for this woman to go out screaming like crazy and being rude to someone who comes to PAY for good service and food. There are ways to treat people and if she had said it differently I would not be writing this bad review. Having a pet does not make you a criminal to be treated like that. It should be noted that this lady, when I wanted to take a video of what happened, she jumped on me to take my cell phone, which is why we had to call the police. THIS LADY IS ABUSIVE!

I decided to have my birthday dinner (6/5) with 14 of my friends at Kai, with this being my favorite restaurant. Unfortunately this was a big mistake as service and food were horrible this day. Two friends ordered drinks with champagne. The champagne was served flat. We asked them to replace the two drinks. They were served again flat. When I went to the bar to get the drinks made right asking for a new bottle of champagne. The bartender was extremely rude. The manager on site came out and was extremely rude, as well to the point of causing an argument and being disrespectful when she brought the drinks to my friends at the table. She completely destroyed the vibe of my birthday celebration.
I went on to order the oxtail and bone marrow fried rice, which is my absolute favorite meal. A friend of mine also ordered this. They served the food burnt. It was as if they had scraped the bottom of the pan after the food had burnt and just mixed it all together. I am talking about burnt where the food was black. The food smelled burnt and look burnt and tasted burnt. I was very shocked that Kai would serve this inedible meal to anybody. It was disappointing that Kai was very off on this day and pretty much ruined my birthday dinner.

Absolutely disgusted with this establishment. Came here on Friday, June 14th, around 10 pm with 4 of my girlfriends. We went to the bar (which was empty except for 2 people sitting at the end) we were getting ready to order shots & and drinks, and I sat down in one of the chairs. As soon as I sat down, a guy came and said I need your chair." I asked why, and he said something to the effect of "we're getting ready for the night." I was really confused but got up. My girlfriend said to him she's been here a few times & always sits at the bar without a problem and if I could sit, (my husband and I have also on a weekend which I said to him.) He took the chair and just walked away without saying responding to us. We then noticed the people sitting at the far end of the bar's chairs weren't bothered/taken. I asked the bartender why was I asked not to sit at the bar, and they weren't. The bartender didn't even have a chance to answer. Some lady wearing a white shirt (seen in the video and blurry picture) came out of nowhere, yelling, "DO NOT DISTURB MY GUESTS!" Uhmmmmm...what am I and my friends? My friends and I decided to leave after that. As we're walking out she's following me saying God knows what (she sounded like a little chihuahua honestly) I turned around to take her pic since she wouldn't leave us alone as we're trying to leave and she freaked out! She knocked my hand & she kept putting her hand out in my face to conceal her face. She had no idea what even happened & had never bothered to even ask us (great customer service!). I hope she's not a manager because if she is, she needs to be re-trained. She handled the situation completely inappropriately. Another manager was apologizing and telling us they would get us a table ( too late!). I didn't feel comfortable there after that, and my friends and I didn't want to spend our money there. I asked security, who was actually very nice & trying to rectify the situation for us to speak with a manager. Some guy came up (honestly don't even know if he truly was a manager) and just kept saying he can't tell us his name or the nasty "lady's" name bc it's confidential. The people working there were laughing and saying, "Say cheese!" Real professional. I would want to know as the owner of this establishment or the GM if this is how my employees were treating customers. You just lost a good amount to this. Had that woman not interfered, we wouldn't have had a problem. Good luck

This place was not all what I expected. I got the Oxtail Fried Rice, the fried rice was so mushy and nasty. The fat from the oxtail mixed in the dish was horrible. It lacked every flavor you can think of. The waitress brought out our meal one plate at a time not all together. Forks placed on the table before our meal was basically thrown on the table, no other cutlery was provided. I would have rather ate at Denny’s, their table etiquette is 10x better. The waitresses dressed like they were going to a night club. And forget the dress code! Shorts up thighs and tank tops!! I will not waist my time and money on this place ever again.

I took my daughter here to celebrate her college graduation and we were very much looking forward to the experience. The establishment is worn, dirty seat cushions, worn and dirty restroom accommodations. But that was not unbearable. The service staff was overwhelmed. The person in the bar was stocking it with straws and napkins preparing for the nightclub atmosphere later in the night . . The young staff waiting tables for dinner were overwhelmed and had no help with the bar drinks or serving. We waited over 30 minutes for drinks before we left. The young manager was rude and defensive when we decided to leave and pay early and she delayed our departure as we were trying to do the right thing by settling the $20+ bill for water and edamame… she was unapologetic and smug.
We walked to FOGO DE CAO to be greeted by a professional, accommodating, and well staffed establishment who were welcoming and immediately brought us water, rolls, and a drink menu. Anna discussed the drink menu, brought us a sample of the wine, and checked on us many times over before our decision to order. The food, presentation and food was amazing. Many places are over priced and overrated in the Shops at Legacy West, Kai is one of them. It may have been an upscale at one time… now it serves as a bar food cover for a night club.

Food was pretty solid; none of the appetizers came until we reminded the server after our entrées. Drinks were slow due to bar being "backed up", despite the place being relatively empty. Worked in a pinch but would look elsewhere if you have time to plan.

Food is great, but had TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE. Waitress and Management do not care about customers at all. Will not come back due to service received. When you order special menu items you would expect to be able to enjoy the presentation.

I came here to eat for a friend's birthday; we had made reservations weeks in advance and were so excited for the night! Our reservation included free valet, and of course, we knew it would be a bit busy due to prom season, so we made sure to come earlier. Unfortunately, I knew we would be late due to traffic, so I called, and no one answered. We had to walk on foot after we parked at the 4th-floor parking structure since there were no directions or instructions for where the free Kāi valet was located. After my 3rd call, they finally answered; I told them we would be 10 minutes late. Once we got there, we had to wait an extra 20 minutes. Even when we made a reservation, they kept saying that they were working on clearing our table. It wasn't till I got up and asked them about the delay that they started to help seat us. Although I will say the food was good, and we had a great server! Overall, I had a mediocre experience here and wished the service was better. Don't believe I will be back for a while though.

We are a construction company in Las Colinas area that decides to drive to Plano to celebrate one of our colleagues birthdays there. Terrible service.
Nice and interesting cocktail menu, but hard to get one. We got a $500 table and the waitress barely came to us. She was zero friendly and forgot to come to check on us the entire night. We were 11 people and ready for party, but couldn't get drinks.
It is a shame that we couldn't order from the bar because we got that service table. Next time we will just go to the bar and order directly. Not recommend service. Because there is not service.
They have a DJ, but there is not a place to dance.
I would recommend this place to stop for a drink, not for gatherings or business hangouts.

I was visiting Dallas and I was invited by a diplomatic friend of mine to try an amazing hot and delicious restaurant. The food and presentation was amazing the flavor was outstanding and the atmosphere unparalleled not to mention the top shelf staff and management who took great care of us from the time we entered until the time we left ! By the way the Dj was exceptional as well ! If I were to change anything it would be to enlarge the dance floor.

Great atmosphere, good service, bad food. And because of bad food the memory of the place is tarnished. We had to book a place there for valantines day so I was expecting high prices but was also looking forward to high quality ... And lack of quality food was a bummer. Heard the same from another couple beside us so it wasn't just us who were disappointed. Unlikely to go there again.

Food was great but the service is terrible. For a restaurant that serves family style the make no effort to clear plates. Also, our server waited until we were completely done before asking if we would care for another drink. The basics in hospitality is really lacking at this restaurant. They are clearly just trying to turn tables. Reminds me of IHOP and I stopped going there 20 years ago.

My experience in this place was good until the time the DJ started playing music. Just by asking for a song, he gets upset and speaks badly to the customers. He clearly told me that the music that people have to listen to is the one he plays and that he doesn't play songs to anyone. Very rude.

Best sushi I’ve ever had! Very cool vibe, wait staff was not attentive. Sat for over 45 min without a drink, we could have spent a lot more money had we been taken care of. With that said, food was amazing!

The calamari was great, however the other dishes were giving mediocrity, I ordered a drink that was forgotten, and not given to me until dinner was almost done. The table was uncomfortable, I'm only 5'2" I cld not extend my legs. The table was so far from the chairs, that I cld barely reach.

Went here for my birthday and I had a good time. I’m allergic to seafood and my waitress (Avery) made sure their was no cross contamination, she went out her way to tell me what I should order since I’m allergic and she even asked the kitchen to make sure the food I wanted wasn’t made with the seafood. Love love love my waitress!

There's no other word than "awful" maybe "disgusting" the food is wildly over priced and poor quality. Drinks are obviously off someones pinterest, but executed on a budget. The staff is gross. Managers are a joke. This place from the moment you walk in has you questioning the decision. Is it a restaurant or a club? Everyone working there is dazed and confused which is ok if it's a club. But the food is priced designer and tastes low quality (fatty gristle filet mignon, really fishy gross tasting sushi etc) While there, saw a staff member going into a restroom with some random person. Came out 10ish minutes later. So either drugs or something else. Neither the club aspect is enjoyable nor the restaurant aspect. Both are awful. Owner must be a d-bag because every other word out of someone's mouth was "we know the owner" as to insinuate they want something for free. The one manager looks like something out of a south beach strip club. Juan, Carlos, Julio who knows...as he was giving out free drinks I caught the name everytime some haggard person SCREAMED it. Avoid this dump... Legacy is so beautiful and has way to many other places with less expensive food, much better tasting and quality, and staff that doesn't make you feel like you need a hepatitis shot.

Came here for anniversary. Food was great. Service was great. Atmosphere was fun... Tended to be to the louder side but that was probably more just the tables directly around us. Portions are not huge but definitely did not leave hungry. They also gave us a nice surprise for our anniversary.

The service was undeniably amazing; however, ordering proved to be a bit challenging. One server, tasked with sharing specials, succumbed to stage fright and left, requiring us to flag down other staff members to place our orders.
The drinks were a true masterpiece, almost too beautiful to consume. The food, served in delightful tapas portions, allowed for the enjoyment of various items. It's a culinary adventure for those seeking diverse flavors.
On the downside, the website's information was outdated, leading to surprises such as the absence of valet service and the unavailability of Peking duck. It's advisable not to rely solely on the online details.

Dimsum being $20 for 4 piece shouldn't be allowed. They taste pretty close to Walmart frozen dumplings. Steaks are $35 come out pretty cold. 5 spices duck is 2 piece. This place makes fun of the customers :3
Very overpriced for what they have. Go ruin your day if you want to. Also food takes forever to come out.

I have given it some thought, the same word continues to come to mind: pretentious. The atmosphere is dark and moody. I interacted with an array of different servers and hosts, some content to be there.. some seemingly not. I cannot sincerely recommend a place to friends that gives off a haughty attitude. Similar to a Neiman’s. It is certainly “Instagram worthy.” The decorations are abundant. The cherry blossom feature is unique. As for the food, the quality was fair. It is a “tapas” style establishment so the portions are small.

It is so posh and exclusive looking, here. A breath of fresh air from all of the other restaurants. It’s like its own little World. I’ve visited a few times for appetizers and dessert. They have an amazing tea selection as well. The ambience is amazing, and they have THE BEST MUSIC.
I would definitely recommend for a night out.

Very disappointed at the oxtail and bone marrow fried rice. For an asian dish, and an expensive one, it lacks taste. The marrow was not given justice, really bland. My taste buds were expecting more flavor especially it being served with fried rice and oxtail. Not sure if they really intended the fried rice to be on the sweeter side, but you should be expecting more spice and salt than sweet. It's our first time here, the service and atmosphere are good. However we're not inclined to come back anytime soon though.

I haven't received the main dish and I am ready for my review. I don't like sushi bars where employees refuse to make eye contact. There's very few patrons so I asked, "well I guess you guys are not supposed to interact with customers?" "No." Alrighty then. So much for asking your opinion on recommendations. When I order seaweed salad, I expect seaweed salad with some sesame seeds. Not diluted seaweed with carrots and cucumber. Let's see what the entree brings since evidently the guy in front of me won't be making it! 😉

It’s loud, it’s pricey but it’s absolutely worthy of the hype. Food is really good. Service was solid. We were seated at a perfect table and there are a lot of spots throughout the restaurant that have great vibes depending on your mood. Was it perfect? Perfection is hard to achieve. Was it worth the price? 100%. Great date night spot or place to get together with friends that love a restaurant where the food is an adventure. Recommended.

My husband and I were in town visiting from Seattle visiting his family and we were looking for some great sushi in the area to have a little date night. Kai really did exceed our expectations. We had some apps, sushi and the bone marrow fried rice and all of it was fantastic. I saw some negative reviews for the price but if you’re from a big city, the prices were on the very lower end for an upscale sushi spot. Think $16-$32. The service was EXCEPTIONAL. Kimberly was amazing and all the while she was training a waitress that we could definitely tell was excited to be there. They both were attentive, personable, and an overall joy. When we come back, we will be requesting Kimberly as our server. The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful, as well which I think is worth noting. ALSO if they remove the Ron Burgundy drink I’ll cry. I’ve never had a better cocktail. Loved it here!

I came here for a 21st birthday celebration and it was a good decision. The atmosphere is nice, definitely a bit upscale. There are a few areas that are great to take photos at, and we had our opportunity to do so. When we had arrived, we were there for reservations at 7:15pm, and although the rest of our party had not arrived we were still seated immediately. It was somewhat empty during this time, but we were seating in a couch-like area. Although there weren’t very many patrons at the time, our server still took a long time to return to our table, about 10 minutes after each visit. When the rest of our guests did arrive, he took even longer to revisit us, about 15-20 minutes. He was also training someone new, so that could have been why but honestly the wait times were a bit too much. Mind you, we got there at 7:15pm on the dot. Our waiter was extremely friendly, though, and had a attitude so it made up for the waits. Drinks came out a bit slow, but the food arrived even later as according to the waiter, each meal was prepared one at a time. The portions for what I had (kai pad thai, mongolian beef) were fine, not too heavy nor light but perfect. The food itself was fine—nothing particularly special in my opinion, but the mongolian beef was cooked to my satisfaction, was very savory. The pad thai was lacking though. When we were all done, not only did our waiter package leftovers, but wiped the table down. We didn’t end up leaving till almost 11pm, and enjoyed the experience. To sum up, I don’t think I would go any other time than besides another birthday or celebration dinner. Thank you to our waiter (and trainee) for the incredible experience! You both helped my partner have a great 21st birthday experience!
Edit: also, whoever was in charge of the music that night has great taste.
