Sr. Ozzy's Tacos Y Mariscos is a Mexican restaurant located in Frisco. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we serve up the most authentic fare. Our delicious food options include ceviche, Mexican-style sushi, tacos, burritos, Sonoran dogs, quesadillas, breakfast burritos and so much more. Enjoy a refreshing margarita or Mexican wine, or a selection of beers right at our bar. We use fresh ingredients and focus on efficiency, consistency, excellence, and overall customer satisfaction. Come try our delicious spread at one of the top Mexican restaurants!
This is not your regular TexMex, it’s authentic Mazatlán style Mexican Seafood. We started with house natural Aguas Frescas of Pepino Limon (Cucumber & lemonade). Very refreshing. Also a delicious Mango Margarita.
For lunch the Torre Mixta; a
“tower” of shrimp ceviche, imitation crab, scallop, abulon, octopus, cooked shrimp and aguachiles. This is huge and so authentic. Two of us couldn’t finish it. Comes with Tostadas. We also had the 2 Tacos Lunch Special; Mar Y Tierra (Shrimp and Steak). Very well made & delicious. My wife from Southern California loved it all.
The owner, Armando is there to pamper you. We are visiting from Florida and had an awesome lunch experience.

The fish taco is the best I've had! It's absolutely delicious. Their birria taco and the consomé are incredible too and worth trying. Their pastor taco is so-so, and I'd skip the sushi rolls altogether. Their online menu is misprinted and it shows different ingredients than it shows on their in-person menu, which led me to mistakenly believing that their Picosito roll has chicken on it as the photo and menu description show. I brought this up to both our server and then who I assume is the owner, I was met with backhanded comments about how they were sorry I didn't like it and how they were going to comp it for me. The shrimp in it isn't deveined, but the owner was insisting this vein is just a vein and not the shrimp's digestive tract. As I was eating I was taking photos of everything (good and bad) and apparently they took offense too. The owner came over to our table again, looked at the camera, mentioned the timestamp out loud and walked away. A lady (I assume his wife?) came over to take our plates, passive aggressively said "if you want to take more photos let me know." Most of the food was great but their customer service is lacking. They take the feedback about their food as a personal attack, so based on that I wouldn't recommend this place.

**5-Star Review:**
If you're craving the perfect blend of tacos and mariscos, look no further than this hidden gem! From the moment you step inside, the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel like you're part of the family. The menu offers a stellar variety of both traditional and innovative dishes, each crafted with fresh ingredients that burst with flavor.
The tacos are simply delicious. But the real star here are the mariscos. The ceviche is fresh, tangy, and loaded with the perfect balance of seafood, while the shrimp tacos are an explosion of flavor with every bite.
Don't skip the salsas either — they have a fantastic range of spicy and tangy options that elevate every bite. The service is friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

Whomever left 1 star reviews for this place do NOT know authentic Mexican food! I moved here from south Florida and had been on the search for authentic Mexican food and boy did this place NOT disappoint. First off the owner was soooooooo nice and extremely just kind. I ordered the Baja fish and Baja shrimp taco it was hands down absolutely fresh and delicious! The watermelon margarita is slap ya momma GOOD!!!! The owner even gave me a cup of ceviche to try and it was just as fresh and delicious! I don’t even have a pic of that because I devoured it! If you want authentic tacos and GREAT margaritas this is where you need to be! I will def be back again and again!!!

If you’re looking for some of the best authentic Mexican food in Prosper, look no further! We’ve visited this gem three times, and it never disappoints. The chicken torta is an absolute must-try – the bread is perfectly crisp on the outside yet soft and airy on the inside. Each bite is packed with authentic flavors and top-notch ingredients. The tacos are real-deal street tacos, with tender, flavorful meat that melts in your mouth.
Their Agua Fresca selection is unbeatable; the hibiscus water is my personal favorite—refreshing and delicious. Don’t even get me started on the homemade salsa—it’s a unique and delicious complement to their incredibly fresh ceviche. Each bite of ceviche is a burst of flavor, and you can taste the freshness in every ingredient.
We’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owners, and they are genuinely kind, wonderful people who create such a welcoming atmosphere. The live music adds the perfect touch to an already fantastic dining experience. This is the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to, and we will definitely be bringing our family with us time and time again! Highly recommended!

A lovely eatery! Big colorful menu. Authentic! Plus all I have to say “everything is homemade!” I had the 3 taco lunch plate with rice and beans steak, chicken & pork. Pork was my favorite - it was a tasty and pretty plate of food. Did I mention all is homemade?

Finally found a good authentic Mexican restaurant in Frisco! My husband is not a fun of Tex Mex so we are happy to find this place. They have both good meat and seafood dishes. Aguachiles tastes amazing and good quality. The prices are so reasonable too. Clean and friendly staffs. We will definitely go back!

Excellent food and friendly service! We always order the shrimp aguachile and micheladas and they are awesome. Also good are the street tacos and birria tacos. I hear the menudo is great and plan to try it soon. Briana always serves us well and Armando runs a tip top operation.

This place is amazing, from the time we walked in the service was great all the way to the food that was delicious! In fact, it was so good me and my friend had to come back the next day for more. It has been difficult finding authentic Mexican food in Texas since Tex-Mex is the primary preference and food offered here of its kind. So if you’re not originally from Texas, like myself, and even if you are from here and looking for some of the best authentic Mexican food in the DFW area, I promise this place will not let you down! You’ll become a regular too!

California transplants, rejoice! Ozzy’s is the most authentic So Cal style Mexican Food around! Both salsas that were served with the chips were fantastic. We tried the Beer Battered Fish Tacos and the Birria Tacos with cheese and let me tell you….the Birria tacos were out of this world. Meat was seasoned to perfection, they right amount of meat cheese and tortilla and the Birria was so good I could’ve drank it as soup. My kids got the chicken tacos and they were also delicious. To top it off, the churros were the perfect blend of crunch as sweet.
The best part of all is that it is extremely affordable for a family of 4 to eat here and not break the bank. We can’t wait to come back with friends and family!

And let’s not forget the cocktails! They were expertly crafted, with each one having a unique twist that complemented the meal perfectly. Whether you’re a fan of classic margaritas or more adventurous drinks, this place has it all.

Wanted to try this place. It was around the time church let out on a Sunday, and traffic was crazy. We decided to do delivery instead of dine in. Ordered the burrito con camarones empanizado (burrito with fried shrimp) and a torta con carne asada (Mexican sandwich with grilled beef). Delicious. They have tacos that you can order a la carte, and since I'd never had one, I added one birria queso taco. I can see what the birria hype is all about. Next time, I want to dine in and get an agua fresca and some sushi. Will definitely try this place again.

If you are looking for an authentic Mexican-California style restaurant this is the place!!! No Tex-mex here!!!
Menudo - like my momma's. I've had it twice and the same delicious plate every time. Carefully made and seasoned to taste like Mexico!
Birria quesadilla- awesome!
Tacos de tripa- crunchy and flavorful.
Asada fries - the bomb!!
Aguachiles - spicy and full of flavor! Gotta eat them here to experience the freshness!
Flan- authentic
Churros - damnnnn!!!!
The staff and manager are great and being from California is a plus. Come here for friendly staff!!!

Fantastic little Taqueria. The Vampiros and tacos are so tasty and well-made. Note to people looking for TexMex. This is not your place. Go away. This is traditional western Mexican cuisine. Corn tortillas for tacos only. Burritos and quesadillas have flour tortillas. Had an opportunity to speak with the owners, a very nice couple, and learn more about their business and their cooking. Fantastic experience. Recommend to all the locals.

I have heard only great things about this place and finally got a chance to stop in for lunch today with my Mom. Sr. Ozzy’s hit it out of the park. The Owner - Armando - was gracious and attentive and we were chatting with him before, during, and after our meal. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted and seated by Myra. She brought us waters while we browsed the cocktail menu. Fortunately, we spent quite a bit of time browsing the Food Menu online and knew what we wanted to order prior to our arrival.
We started things off with some Mango Margaritas with tajin on the rim (which kicked it up a notch). The flavor and spice profile hit the sweet spot just right. Chips and Red/Green Salsa were brought to the table piping hot and ready for dipping. Excellent! Then came the entrées - Mom ordered one Vampiro and one Pollo Taco with a side of Rice & Beans. I ordered a Quesa Birria and a Mar Y Tierra Taco with a side of Rice and Beans. So freaking good! And…Mexican Flan for dessert! Phenomenal! This was a perfect way to end a meal. Not too decadent but also didn’t leave still feeling hungry.
It is clear that the Owner takes pride in his culinary skills and expertise and it truly shines through. You can tell that everything is made from scratch. Nothing canned or microwaved here. Food portions, taste, and quality - all right on point. The flavor and spices meld together on the palate and complement each other very nicely. It’s like I was teleported to a different realm of consciousness. Everything about our visit was reminiscient of and giving me SoCal Vibes.
We will be back to try other Menu items (namely the Mexican Sushi - the Baconador) and I can promise you that we will be regulars here going forward. True standouts for our first visit were Myra and Armando. We enjoyed the delightful conversation. Thanks so much and we’ll be back again soon!

I have been multiple times and experienced Sr. Ozzys in person. For preference I have never had an experience like I just had. I wanted to introduce my girlfriend to Sr. Ozzys because of the incredible food there is.
When we walked in there were multiple tables available. I am not a small human and will typically ask to sit in a booth. Which undoubtedly wasn’t allowed this evening. The extremely rude hostess proceeded to argue with me until I caved and went to sit at the two person table. When I sat down it was way too small of a space, so we decided to leave.
That being said, when a customer walks into your restaurant and request something you don’t so no. Especially just to make your life easier. I was still a paying customer. In hospitality, the client is always right. Unfortunately this will result in be never doing business with Sr. Ozzys again. Please, I do suggest just ordering Togo or pick a better place to get Mexican food.
I would suggest rethinking the employment of your hostess as well. Don’t go here!

You can't make this stuff up. Listen carefully.. My brother just moved to Frisco 1hr before this ordeal and i decided to take him to lunch.. so i choose Ozzys. I wasn't happy with my soup after tasting it. It tasted sour and not resembling the picture. I am a very friendly polite educator and live local. I've also eaten tacos here twice and remembered the waiter. I asked if it was ok to order something else the big male waiter said yes no problem. I ordered tacos to-go. Now the only other patrons just walked out. After receiving the order the bill had both items so i asked if i can have the soup removed. His response was very unprofessional, aggressive loud and humiliating "No Home Boy" You ordered it and your going to pay for it! " shocked and disturbed at this degrading and disrespectful response.. I asked for a manager and for him to repeat what the policy was for clarification. A lady yelled out "Call the cops" the manager. Then guys ran aggressively out from the back and surrounded our table acting like THUGS with clenched fists saying things like "you don't know who you're messing with" "we're from COMPTON Cali L.A. hommie". At this point I'm scared and afraid to get up as i feared we would be assaulted! I was so scared i offered 60 dollars to leave! That was a bad idea it caused more escalation. I really didn't know if we would make it out this restaurant without being harmed or maybe tracked down later as the lady recorded my car!! We have a safe family oriented city, this is no place for Compton gangs! You can't stereo type your costumers by how they look. This traumatizing experience warrants the Law Enforcements attention, City Code compliance, the mayor's office to take a closer look at what's going on at your facility and for your property management to be made aware of a potential civil case that could be in action for all.
I need for you to apologize now to the Frisco community for the hostile, unprofessional and bigoted actions of EVERY employee, owner and the manager, we will not stand for this in our city!
Your response determines how we move forward. I hope as professional adults and that you learn from this mistake move forward and resolve your past Compton traumas. There is NO excuse for treating ANYONE like this in any business in Texas EVER im sorry.

Overall, I enjoyed, however, I wasn't impressed with the taco special. There was nothing special about the Mar y Tierra tacos. There were no garnishes and the presentation wasn't impressive. They were literally a pile of tacos. Within, there was some strange mayo sauce and cheese which didn't sit well on my pallet.
The real star of the show was my wife's order of mojarra frita. It was plated beautifully and was cooked to perfection! I immediately had food envy.
I think it's worth another visit, but I don't think I'll go for the Mar y Tierra tacos again.

Favorite restaurant in Frisco! You can't go wrong when Mexican and seafood is done right. They are so under rated the deserve all the attention and praise. Honestly, I did not expect the level of quality food and service here. Not average at all. The people here are awesome! I probably have been here the most 4 times in a week.

I was really excited to see a restaurant serving birria 7 days a week in Frisco. I either had to drive to Taqueria LA in Plano or wait until the weekend and get them from Chilangos at Legacy Hall. Needless to say Ozzy needs a helping hand. The birria was bland and so was the consommé. The rice and beans were also bland. Maybe this was just an off day for them. I will give them another try.

Absolutely delicious! It was my first time trying this restaurant, and I'm glad I did. This is officially my favorite spot for tacos.

OMG this place is so amazing. I was looking for a real seafood Mexican restaurant with mouth watery food, and came across this little place. They have this delicious cucumber water with lime🤤. I ordered a tilapia fried fish with fries. Mexican chips and hot salsa was good. And this place also offers tacos and other dishes. Restaurant is a little hidden, but trust me you won’t go wrong stopping here. And staff was really nice definitely coming again.

DELICIOUS food!!! Finally found an authentic Mexican restaurant that is good and I don't have to go to a gas station for it!😂 Service was top notch and the restaurant was clean. Lots of good menu options to choose from. They bring you chips with 2 different salsas. Both salsas were very good and flavorful, the red was little spicy. We both ordered cheesy birria tacos with rice and beans and they did not disappoint! Lots of super tender and flavorful meat. The consume was very good and not too salty as it can sometimes be. Rice tasted good, not too mushy or undercooked and the beans were very tasty as well! The staff was very attentive and friendly and made our visit great. We will definitely be back!!

Went there tonight before a FC Dallas game. Had a burrito, and it was LEGIT. Best burrito I’ve had in months (Mar y Tierra). The seafood dishes at the tables around us looked awesome. Can’t wait to go back and it’s now our go to spot before FCD matches. Prices were really good as well. Man, if I’m in Frisco, I think I’ll have to make a stop.

My wife and I decided to try Sr. Ozzy's Tacos y Mariscos today for lunch based on seeing other people talk about it here! It is located right off DNT between Stumpy's and Tailgaters.
The food was phenomenal! It is more authentic Mexican and not like the 15 other Tex Mex places around here!
For the appetizer we got the Fries Mar y Tierra and thought the shrimp and steak combo was interesting as we have never had that before. Everything was perfect! I meant to get a picture when they first brought it out but we dug into it so fast and I didn't realize until we were about 2/3 done with it so I got the best picture I could.
For our main courses I got the Sonoran Dog. It has a bacon-wrapped beef hot dog served on what tasted like a King's Hawaiian roll which was a little sweeter and all of the toppings were fantastic.
My wife got the three taco plate and got the Beef Birria Cheesy taco, the Mar y Tierra, and the Pescado Empanizado (beer battered fish).
She also got the michelada and they serve margaritas and beer there as well. Everything from the moment we walked in to when we left was great and the owner came and checked on us a couple of times as well. Super friendly staff and we can't wait to go back!
Everyone needs to try this place at least once and I can definitely see this taking one of the top spots in our regular rotation of places to eat lunch or dinner at!

Early Dinner for 2, Saturday at 5pm. No wait, great service. Huge drink portions. Pulpo sushi was really good, chicken & pork street tacos were fantastic. My son got the cheese Birria tacos and they were good but needed some spice or vinegar to balance out the richness of the meat..dipping them in salsa or adding lime juice made them perfect. We had great service & really enjoyed our visit. We’ll be back.

Really good authentic Mexican food. Service was great and food was great.
One huge complaint is that I ordered 2 beers, bottle was cold, inside was warm… so they weren’t good at all. So I encourage them to find a better way to store their beer.

After a friend suggested this place, we thought we would try it out ourselves. We are so glad we did! The presentation of each of our entrées was spectacular, but they tasted even better! We got the nachos, huaraches, and the birria tacos. Everything was fabulous. Even the churros were top notch. We will definitely be back. The owner came out and visited with us a couple times, and our waitress was attentive and very helpful.

I am always hesitant when restaurants say they are authentic Mexican food but this place did not disappoint. I would absolutely call this authentic Mexican food with a little bit of a California flair. I came two nights in a row because the food was that good. They are family owned and the owners are so nice and very grateful to all of their customers. I hope they stick around for a long time. I can't wait to go back. Both nights I had a Huarache which was probably my favorite. The Birria tacos are hands down the best I've had in the area. Everything tasted fresh. Do yourself a favor and go support this new business. You will not be disappointed.

I honestly cannot believe how good this Mexican food is especially being in frisco!!! The food was AMAZING! I got the birria tacos and we also got an appetizer which was so good. I will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends and family. Nice restaurant, our waitress was so nice and always came to check on us and the bathrooms were clean! Definitely recommend. I also for a tres leches cake but I’m still so full I haven’t tried it.

Great Mexican food. We ordered the hot dog and various tacos. Everything was great. If you’re from so cal looking for good Mexican food, try this place.

The food was fresh and delicious! My wife had the shrimp cocktail (tasted like it had Worcestershire sauce if you’re into that) and I had a pastor vampiro and a birria quesataco. I highly recommend the pastor as it has small grilled pineapple chunks in it that add a nice flavor to the meat. We were checked in multiple times by multiple people. The only negative is that there’s a slight tobacco smell inside caused from the next door cigar shop; you stop noticing the smell after a few minutes though. We’ll be coming back regularly as we’ve been looking for a good authentic Mexican food spot around Frisco.

This place is new in Frisco and is more of a authentic mexican food. They have a unique menu like no one has seen, Mariscos (seafood) mexican sushi and your authentic street mexican food. all has flavors and great customer service. Must try if you are near frisco.

We noticed a new highly-rated Mexican restaurant had popped up on Google Maps. Though the sample size of reviews was small, we just had to come and try it out for ourselves.
In the US, we rarely think of seafood when speaking of Mexican cuisine (aside from shrimp fajitas), but I've had some of the best seafood along the Yucatan as well as Baja California. It's great that Sr. Ozzy's seeks to bring the flavours of the ocean to an otherwise landlocked city.
They were pretty busy despite opening recently (a good sign), and the service is was superb. Not only were the street tacos some of the tastiest, most authentic ones I've had in DFW, but the seafood was also fresh and mouthwatering!

Food very bad and they barely put meat in the quesadilla

I found Sr. OZZY'S online, close to the Comfort Inn. The great reviews got me started. All the reviews are spot on accurate. I had the ceviche, which was some of the best I have ever had. I can't recommend this place highly enough. The only problem is I live in Colorado. Thanks for the wonderful lunch experience. Awesome food. Pleasant and kind service.

Great food & service! New gem near FC Dallas/Toyota Stadium. Slight cigar odor from the cigar shop next door but not too bad. The food more than made up for that small distraction. Very extensive and unique menu items! Everything was delicious! Very surprised by the sushi and was reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back!

This place is a gem. The wife and I went on a day date there and were very impressed. The owner/chef personally checked on us multiple times throughout our visit. You could tell the food was made from scratch and was not a mass produced product. As a matter of daft, the chef confirmed that everything is made in house and from scratch. Menu items we had that were great were the shrimp cocktail and the birria quesadillas. If you like micheladas, try the Cevichelada, it’s refreshing AND filling. One more thing. Try their house bottled salsa. When you get your chips the server will drop off 4 bottles of salsa. One of those bottles is the house salsa, you can tell because it has a Sr Ozzys sticker on it. I’m from South Texas, 15 minutes from the Mexican border. I’ve never had a salsa as tasty as Sr Ozzy’s. I even tried to buy a bottle!! Great place all around.

Not the most authentic, saying as a native Sonoran living in Dallas
Indeed better than other seafood restaurants but still poor quality and little expensive , good for people who does not know the real stuff
Only good thing are the micheladas
Poor service, I had to ask for everything and at the end couldn’t even custom an amount for tip as the waitress did not even show me a bill, just showed up with the tablet and the total

It's pretty good, a must try (especially if you are not familiar with these foods). They do northern coast Mexican seafood (ceviches, aguachiles, cocteles) and other goods from the area. It's delicious, in particular with their seafood. On the other side, they offer regional dishes from the northern area but they not authentic. Ex. They vampiro is pretty good but they put things that don't go with it. One last thing, their chile toreados are a bomb (tatemado peppers)

Love that you can get grilled jalapeños a lot of places when we ask don’t know what we are asking for . Love love this place .
