Relaxed setting with rustic Japanese decor highlighting seasonal fish flown in from the Toyosu Market in Tokyo along with sake, wine and Japanese Whisky
Seat at the bar.
Fantastic Japanese in Dallas, one of my favorite locations, especially sitting at the bar.
The place is swanky and fun, great vibes
overall and comfortable.
Service was pretty good and food was fantastic, came here for a bunch of nigiris and none of them disappointed. Not an inexpensive option for sure but worth it in my opinion.

Impecible! This is the only place I would compare to having fresh, quality sushi like I've had in Japan. We had the omakase which is pricey but worth it with the different cuts most would never think to try and many classic cuts as well. I highly recommend their salmon roll!
Amazing selection of Japanese whiskey and sake galore!

Namo offers a great selection of nigiris and allows the fish to do the talking. Very traditional Japanese style where quality is what you notice. Does not have the largest selection but plenty to still leave happy with and make for a great night. Would definitely recommend!

Arguably the best sushi and sushi experience in Dallas. We've been a few times and the staff at Namo has consistently knocked it out of the park. The cocktails are great, but the attached bar next door (Bar Collete) is a great post dinner option. Looking forward to going back!

Super cute patio seating area! Along with great service, amazing sushi selection, high quality, fresh, and very tasteful! Did the $75 lunch tasting, and everything was perfectly curated. My favorite was the Katsuo sashimi. My server said something about that they pickle their own ginger, and ginger was so so good! 10/10 would recommend!

Namo restaurant exceeded our expectations from the moment we stepped through the door. Speaking of the door, it was truly spectacular, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. But the excellence didn't stop there.
Our waiter, Jay, was nothing short of incredible. He not only took care of our every need but also went above and beyond in explaining the menu, ensuring we made the most out of our dining choices. His knowledge and passion for the cuisine truly enhanced our meal.
From start to finish, every aspect of our visit was flawless, leaving us eagerly anticipating our next visit. Namo has undoubtedly earned a spot on our list of favorite dining spots, and we can't wait to return for another amazing time!

Had the lunch okonomi set, enjoyed the flavors especially the appetizers and wagyu tostada. The nigiri platter was ok too, would have preferred maybe one non-fish item eg some sort of clam or shrimp for better variety but really can’t complain given the lunch deal.
Clean and modern environment, great for a date or business lunch.

Great experience with delicious food! The quality of the fish, which is flown directly from Japan, is not only visible, but can be tasted in every bite. We had a chef's guided dinner and it was amazing! The staff is attentive and very friendly. The bar seats only 20 people at a time, so make sure to make a reservation.

Fantastic service, food, and vibes. I sat alone at the sushi bar and had sashimi and a roll. Both excellent. Wait staff was attentive and I found the chef very personable. The fish is flown in from Japan almost daily and you can taste the freshness. Snow crab roll is to die for. Will go again and sit at the bar.

Why 5 Stars? I'm glad you asked. Not only was the atmosphere spectacular, the sashimi was silky soft melt in your mouth deliciousness. This place is an absolute gold mine of flavor, power punching cocktails and uni that is like taking a mouth full of coral reef sea salt ocean water. 😊🤗

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in an omakase dining experience, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From start to finish, the entire experience was worth every penny.
The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the specialty roll we tried at the end; it truly blew us away with its incredible flavors. Each bite was a delightful surprise, showcasing the chef's creativity and skill.
Speaking of the chef, he was not only talented but also incredibly friendly, which added a personal touch to our dining experience. The staff was equally welcoming, making us feel right at home throughout the meal.
While it is important to note that this experience comes with a price, I can confidently say it is worth every cent for the quality of food and service provided. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommended for anyone looking to treat themselves to a memorable culinary adventure.

Incredible sushi omakase, I went for the collaboration dinner with chef Kazu and chef Yana. 22 courses, absolutely delicious. The tempura Anago was one of my favorite opening dishes for sure! Then came the sushi, I love nigiri sushi piece by piece . The tuna was cut infront of us! We had multiple servings of tuna! The shrimp with cavier was outstanding, but the crab handroll was probably my favorite, crispy seaweed is really a special thing! I did the wine pairing and had 2 new Italian wines I never tried and definitely will try again. The dessert was Hokkaido soft serve cream with some magical Cookie Crisp. Overall this is the best sushi/ omakase in Dallas maybe even Texas. The Namo staff is outstanding, kind, knowledgeable and very dedicated to the art of sushi. Can’t wait to come back for the fall menu preview!

This little sushi counter and terrace in the West Village turn out some of the freshest fish around. Sashimi, nigiri and maki are painstakingly prepared and delivered one piece at a time. Service is friendly, approachable, and always attentive. The small interior space is serene, reminiscent of a place you’d find in Tokyo. They have a wonderful selection of Japanese whiskey and sake that’s worth splurging for. This is surely one of the Top 5 sushi restaurants in Dallas.

Update: I had another great meal at Namo. However, I decided to come back and change my rating. Due to their policy, I was unable to pay in cash. I understand it is a restaurants choice to accept or decline this payment, but I will not be paying more than a 15% tip going forward. For such a great establishment, your focus should be on simplifying the experience for your customer. There are very few establishments that don’t accept cash and every one of them claim to have great customer service. I wish they would change this.

My experience here was simply beyond amazing. I highly recommend getting a reservation for the bar seating. You will truly enjoy watching the chefs prepare each piece carefully. The whole process is very beautiful and the chefs were very pleasant to talk with.
The staff was awesome. Our server seems a little timid but was very helpful.
I enjoyed my variety of nigiri and my boyfriend loved his salmon roll. Each piece was so high quality and delicious. The cuts melted in your mouth. I recommend the salmon roe, unagi, and sake nigiri.
For drinks I enjoyed the sakura sake and the namo margarita. My boyfriend had a vodka shot (blanking on the name but it was very good quality)
The night we went they offered a rosie sea perch. Just mouthwatering. I cannot wait to come back here!

This was my 4th time eating at Namo and each time I am even more mindblown. The chefs are great with recommendations to the point where I seriously doubt that there is anything here that I could possibly dislike.
One note is that I'd recommend just ordering what you want instead of a fixed menu.

Stylish restaurant, good service, and clearly high quality ingredients, BUT, the temperature of the rice was way off, as was the amount of (presumably) red vinegar in it. All the nigiri tasted predominantly sour and vinegary, destroying the subtlety of the fish. It was staggering to me how obvious it was. My co-diner took one bite and determined it was unbalanced and sour. Nigiri after nigiri, had the same problem. The makimono had the same problem. Also, I dont think rice should be visibly steaming hot when being shaped. Edomae sushi uses a different vinegar and rice, but tradition doesn't trump taste, because we aren't in Tokyo in the year 1820. Sashimi ranged from good to great. Size of cuts across the board felt smallish, and disproportionately expensive. A la carte meal for two was over $400, and we went and ate a second dinner at Malai Kitchen. Kaz and his team are clearly skilled, but I wonder if they'll be customer-focused enough to evaluate their product and feedback about it. I left feeling like I'd eaten $200 worth of overly vinegared, sour, warm rice, and that left a literal bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, I find it hard to recommend Namo for those reasons, and will continue eating at Uchi and maybe Tatsuya for their tasty, balanced product. Disappointing.

Atmosphere: The seats are uncomfortable and it’s loud.
Food:Overall the quality of the sushi was disappointing. We ordered one of the most expensive things on the menu (chef’s choice $550 total) and we left unsatisfied.
Firstly, the soy sauce which was house made had an off taste. Wagyu was the last food item on the menu and it was absolutely terrible. It came out like a little beef patty, botched with a cheap tasting teriyaki sauce. We were still hungry after so we ordered the spicy tuna roll which was also Terrible- it was drenched in mayo which made it taste way too buttery and the tuna was black. Which is a sign that the fish is not that fresh.
The one positive element of the restaurant was the quality of the service, very fast. If the quality of the food could match the service it would be a better restaurant.
One of the worst sushi experiences I’ve ever had, will never come back.

This style of sushi is known as "Edo-mae Sushi." "Edo" refers to the former name of Tokyo during the Samurai era, and "mae" means "in front of." Originally, sushi was a very local food like tacos from a food truck in the past.
In ancient Tokyo, people would get fresh seafood from Tokyo Bay and season it by themselves to preserve the freshness and flavor.

Exceptional in every way. Since I live in SF, I tend not to seek out sushi when I travel to Dallas but decided to check this place out. And I’m glad I did. Traditional in one sense but creative in another, attention to detail, super fresh ingredients, great service. Highly recommend. And sorry the lack of photos, I was too into the experience.

TLDR: phenomenal, worth every penny.
The long story is as follows!
We decided on an early dinner on the patio as the weather was phenomenal. The restaurant is nestled in between a couple stores however the patio is secluded with some privacy fencing that both hides you from the outside but allows in enough light and viewing to be a great experience. The spot itself is small in size and reservations are definitely going to be important. I would recommend grabbing a spot at the sushi bar if possible as the interior is phenomenaly decorated and smells amazing. After a detailed explanation of the menu by our server we started with the tuna tasting. Each slice was presented in a different and delicious way. The slices are presented devoid of wasabi or soy sauce but are served with a side of each. A slight injection of wasabi infused soy elevated the experience to another level. We moved on to the uni tasting which was again another recommendation from our server that did not disappoint. The dish came with two different types of uni. Both creamy and velvety in texture, one was slightly saltier while the other sweeter. A bowl of seaweed to wrap it up in and some soy sauce and wasabi came with the uni. Again nothing short of excellent. We finished with the sake new style, per our server recommendation again. The roll came out served already sufficiently coated in wasabi and soy sauce making it a simple grab and enjoy experience. The crunchiness of the salmon skin brought a unique experience to each bite. We will definitely be returning for more.

My fiancée and I went to Namo for an Omakase night. The staff, especially John, made the experience memorable. Namo curated distinct dishes for most courses, which would be a great match for those seeking unique culinary experiences - but they were a bit too adventurous for us. For us, the food, service, and quality didn’t justify the price.

Definitely one of my go-tos in Dallas. They’re always very consistent. Fish is shipped from Japan and super fresh - love getting toro here. They also have a great selection from sake to Japanese whiskey. I would totally recommend sitting inside if you can get a spot because it’s a very intimate setting and a different experience vs on the patio. It is on the pricier side so be prepared for that, but a great date spot for annis, birthdays, etc.

This place has excellent, and I mean excellent food and service. Think Al’s but Japanese and better. The artistry of the chefs here is truly something to marvel at.
My only critique would be that a place like this should be in a plaza/space a little more exclusive. It’s beautifully built out, but feels a little too casual/walk up for how magnificent it is.

I was traveling for business and Namo was near my hotel. I was blown away by the quality of the sushi at this location. I was able to walk in on Sunday evening without a reservation, but strongly recommend one as the following Tuesday it was jam packed. I went with okonomi and had a lovely experience with the chef. The highlights for me were the barracuda and uni. I had a few of their different sakes, which they let me try a few different ones before picking a full pour. TL;DR The BEST sushi experience I've had in America - no on else has come CLOSE! Bring 2-3 of your most adventurous-eater friends and enjoy!
At this point I've gone to Namo 3 times - two for a normal off-the-menu dinner and once for one of their special Omakase nights. Every single time it has been worth it. Not only has every staff member been courteous and helpful and taught us about things we didn't know much about on the menu, but the food is to die for. Even from my novice palette, I can tell how much nicer the fish is in comparison with the cheaper local places. They constantly are changing their menu to match the seasonal offers and have a Japanese whisky and sake menu that will leave you wanting the bottle. This is my favorite place for fine dining in Dallas.
RECOMMENDATION: It is WORTH finding a reservation with indoor seating at bare minimum. It is a pricier evening, but I would push for the Omakase Wednesdays. Not only is an even more intimate experience, but you will get to try things you might never thought to if it was just on a menu. Mine came with 20 plates - each fish prepared in its own unique way with special sauces and garnishes. For those that struggle with filling up on sushi, THIS is the way to go especially.
NOTE: Due to the arrangement of seating indoors, I wouldn't recommend a group larger than four. If you have four, you will most likely be placed on a corner of the box-shaped seating and be able to still all talk together. Anything larger would break up the group a bit.

An Unforgettable Michelin Star-Worthy Dining Experience
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Namo in Dallas with my business partner, and it was nothing short of an extraordinary experience. The sushi we enjoyed was quite possibly the best I've ever tasted, with each bite revealing a symphony of flavors and textures that delighted our senses.
The head chef displayed exceptional skill and creativity in crafting each dish. The freshness of the fish, the delicate balance of flavors, and the artful presentation all contributed to an unforgettable meal. It's evident that the chef is passionate about their craft and takes pride in creating the ultimate dining experience for guests.
The ambiance of Namo was equally impressive, with a sophisticated and intimate setting that allowed for easy conversation and enjoyment of the exquisite meal. The attentive and knowledgeable staff ensured our every need was met, and their service was a significant part of what made the evening so memorable.
I wholeheartedly believe that Namo, its talented chef, and the entire team deserve a Michelin star for their remarkable work. If you're a sushi lover or simply looking for an exceptional dining experience in Dallas, do not hesitate to visit Namo. This hidden gem is not to be missed, and I can't wait to return for another memorable

What a truly unforgettable sushi bar experience at Namo! We opted for the tasting menu, the Okonomi, which was the perfect setting for a romantic date night.
Throughout the evening, we had the pleasure of interacting with the chefs — adding a personalized touch to our experience. They meticulously crafted each bite right in front of us and generously shared stories and insights about the ingredients, techniques, and origins of each dish and fish.
The personalized attention from the chefs and our amazing waiter combined with the carefully crafted and ever-changing Okonomi menu makes Namo a must-visit for Dallas foodies. Be sure to secure a seat at the sushi bar to fully appreciate the magic!

We really enjoyed the experience, it was a whole evening of education and delicious food. With almost no sushi experience beyond tuna rolls and fried shrimps, I wasn’t sure I would feel comfortable here. I never felt rushed and was very impressed with the whole evening.

Wow, what an incredible establishment. Sincerely, huge thank you to the owner Brandon, the GM John, and the entire staff for giving us such an incredible experience.
I tend to reserve my five stars for locations that truly blow my mind. Namo deserves a sixth star. I'd like to think I've spent enough time in my life trying sushi, sashimi, etc. to know what's good and what's now. Previously, I had Uchi at the top of my list in Dallas... yes, previously. That was until I visited Namo. Each, and every, dish was nothing short of incredible. Truly, each bite left me speechless.
The ambiance is great, very friendly staff, and they love the customer feedback. Everything you want in a restaurant.
Generally, I'd leave specifics, but everything was so good that I don't want to ruin the experience for you, the reader. Pricing here isn't cheap, but it's competitive and frankly, I suggest you get here before they realize they can charge twice the price and still maintain a customer base like they already do.
The uniqueness of this location cannot be stressed enough, from incredibly limited experiences to a genuine journey each time you dine with them, this place does it unlike any other in the DFW region. I couldn't be more happy to have Namo so nearby, and I hope to see y'all there soon.

A stand out for Dallas sushi. Suggest Omakase and just trust the chefs choices. The “Toyosu” selection is always interesting surprising and delicious.
Sublime sushi and sashimi delivered with excellent service. Recommend the oysters and try the uni tasting if available. Also a phenomenal selection of Japanese whiskey. Might be the best one in Dallas.

I had high hopes for an elevated, unique sushi experience in a city not exactly known for its culture or style.
This place is a 1,000 piece puzzle but 50 pieces are missing.
First of all, it’s all outside for parties larger than 2. Really? It’s Dallas. The weather is awful for 9 months of the year. Second, who wants to pay $1,000 for a dinner for 3 people and eat in a freezing tent. The location makes no sense.
Just consider the experience economy and what people are taking away from this… the cold, the concrete, the paper napkins just don’t sync to the prices and intended experience.
Second, the food is just OK, especially at this $200-300/pp price point. Honestly nothing in the tasting menu stood out as remarkable. At Uchi, Tei-An, Brothers in Santa Monica, CA, you would have a couple memorable courses and the quality would be more consistent.
I applaud the effort here and really wish we had more unique high quality sushi places here in Dallas. Unfortunately, the payoff didn’t come with the effort here, and for the money… it just wasn’t there.

One of the hidden gems in Uptown Dallas! Both times my servers have been super attentive and extremely knowledgeable about every food and drink item and helped to pick out the right sake for me! All of the specialty rolls are to die for! Even the namo brownie with matcha ice cream is sooooo good. My favorite cocktails are the golden suna and lychee martini! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Plus you can sit at the bar and watch the chefs prepare the food right in front of you!

The chef’s selection was great and was pretty filling since you get a hosomaki at the end of the nigiri rotation.

Our favorite sushi place in Dallas.

We went for the Omakase. I was extremely disappointed to say the least. Namo had been our favorite sushi in the past. It was an inconsistent Omakase experience. The tasting and plating was not consistent at all. For the price this was a let down. I expected more. I attached pic that carried through almost all of the courses. Plating and presentation highly different on each guest plate.

Wonderful food and wine in a lovely space manned by kind and caring staff. Had my first visit this week and will definitely be going back for more. Prices are consistent with the quality of ingredients, creativity, attention to detail and hospitality offered by this surprising restaurant.

What an amazing experience with delicious food, attentive staff and great vibes! We did the omakase experience and while it is a little pricy, it was worth every penny. The sushi chefs are very knowledgeable and can answer any question you have about the food. The other wait staff was also very attentive, we did the sake pairing with our meal and they explained the origins and tasting notes of each drink they served us and were also so kind.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Dallas! Amazing and extremely attentive service. The wagyu is by far the best thing on the menu, I highly recommend.

Excellent high quality grade sushi. If you like Uchi, or any top sushi place, but are looking for a more intimate experience, this is the place. Inside, Namo offers sushi bar seating where you will almost certainly share many smiles with other guests in awe of the chefs’ skills. You can expect top service and attention from the host and wait staff as well. Highly recommend one of their signature nigiri pieces - The Cheeseburger. Rice, Japanese A5 wagyu, then toro fatty tuna belly, and topped with uni. You’ll have to stomach the $25 price tag for on piece, but you won’t be disappointed.

UPDATE: We have gone back a few more times for Omakase events and its just amazing! Can't give enough stars to this special little place. Delicious!
Fantastic sushi along with excellent service. Attended a special event as well and it was amazing. Blake was super helpful in the selection of sake. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic. Quaint, freshness up to par. Chef Ricky and Chef Kuz were so awesome and artistic. The staff was phenomenal, attentive and knowledgable. Great "mocktails". Definitely a cool place for a solo date or with someone. If you are a sushi fan, its a must try.

We live across the street. Probably the best sushi sashimi spot nearby. Services are excellent as well. Thanks, guys.

Exquisite. Delicious and totally worth the experience. I really appreciate the respect they put into their food, the elegance of the ingredients and the overall mastery of ingredients. This is a superb location to visit. Will be definitely coming again.

Quality of the fish in this restaurant is absolutely extraordinary most of the fish cut his phone in daily from Japan

Great restaurant. Handrolls were delicious, seaweed was crispy and the fish was fresh excellent. The nitro green tea was also a must try something unique that I'll be stopping by for (wish they had a to go cup). And the staff was very friendly, welcoming, and great to chat with. Look forward to returning soon.

Don't order through their own homepage - they will let you wait forever and prioretize orders in the restaurant and through Uber Eats - once they made me wait 45 minutes outside and they continuously kept saying that it will be ready any moment

My friend and I were craving tons of raw fish. We might have gone a little "treat yo self" but you know "yolo" . We had their specials. The oysters were so incredible that we ordered a second half dozen, the tuna tasting was 6 fresh and tasty pieces. We also had the Hamachi roll and the Uni tasting. I wasn't a big fan of the Uni, expensive too, but it was also my first time trying it. The Hamachi roll was simple yet fresh. I would like to try their other rolls next time. Sat outside and service was really good. I would come back here.

Update: Friday 4/22/2022
So not only do they have awful manners, serve incredibly over priced food, but they are so arrogant that they challenge customers when they complain. This is how profoundly in denial and out of touch the owner and manager of this establishment are. They brook no dissent, only their version of reality exists. Never mind the lived experience of their customer, who took time to share their feedback. They have written and called to berate me further since our unfortunate dinner there this past Tuesday.
Honestly! Feedback is a gift and the only response of any professional is to say thank you and that they'll do better.
Average yet incredibly over priced food, (tiny $42 single piece of sashimi anyone?) awful or actually astonishingly poor service. From the host, to the mgr to our waitress the level of snide condescension was really quite remarkable. I am not sure what part of the "hospitality industry" memo they missed. We are their neighbours, new to Dallas and very interested in food, drink and its provenance. The coldness they chose to treat us with is simply a reminder to not only never set foot in this business again but to also tell anyone we know who asks us, how rude & nasty this sad lot of plain & ordinary service industry people were to us. We shall never forget and will tell anyone who asks to give this place a wide berth, avoid it at all costs. No thank you never again.
Signed your new to town neighbors who will never be back again, never.

Small, intimate, pricey and faced based. allot of those things I would not put together in a normal situation but you will find that here. The seafood here is fine, you can find better, the price is through the roof for what you are ordering. I personally would not come here again, I would go to edoko, nori and def hatsauki. I would put this towards the bottom of that list, as they are all similar in experience while having worst seafood quality and arguable the highest price point and least welcoming experience .

One of the finest Japanese meals I have had outside Japan. The sushi/sashimi selection was fresh and original. Line caught fish, fish flown in fresh from the market in Tokyo, and fantastic presentation. The owner Brandon and the manager John are first rate and share their knowledge with the clientele. Had a fabulous Japanese whisky flight at the start and then was able to sample some amazing sake. Highest recommendation.

The food was amazing, it was a little crowded which made the food come out a bit slower, BUT it is worth the wait. Our chef Andy was great, he took his time and everything came out delicious. Will be coming back.
PS: sit @ the bar, it’s a great experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ " Fresh flavors with even fresher ingredients" Namo was delicious.
A lot of attention to detail here, staff is very attentive and have great recs.
If you can sit at the bar, it's a fun experience to watch the Sushi chefs in their element.
Drinks were A+ I highly recommend trying the Hana Martini and the Kyoto White Yuzu Ale.The Buri Sashimi and the Hamachi Kosho Roll were also top tier.
I enjoyed their selection of tasting menus, nigiri, sashimi and rolls/handrolls. Wish I had more room for more but will be back soon.

This is a great sushi price with high quality ingredients with a steep price! Overally our waitress Tiffany was friendly and explained the entire tasting that we had for the night. The set up is modern with the chefs in the middle of the bar. It's def chaotic as the servers are making different items on the menu for customers inside and outside of the restaurant. We had the tuna tasting, uni, and trout tasting I believe. It was delicious and the umami was tasty once you put the pieces inside your mouth! If your ready to spead big bucks this is the place for you!

Oct-2021 Namo takes the idea of sushi, obtains its fish from Japan only, and mixes the owners Peruvian flare to the dishes. Fun. Unique. Special. Everytime is a great time. Also have Japanese Gins, whiskeys, and rum! Cocktails are sublime.
Update Mar-2022 The prices are way over inflated. The sushi has not been anywhere near as good in quality, taste, or supply. Overall, the food has been bland and/or fishy. No longer worth it.

My husband and I were able to get a last minute reservation on a weekend night, and enjoyed the small and intimate space at the sushi bar. Some of the food was great, most was good, and one dish (the toro tasting) was fishy. Yellowtail was awesome. I just cannot give it a higher review because of the prices. Our bill, with a 20% tip, exceeded $500. Some items were market price, and we only inquired about the MP of the wagyu tasting, to which we were told it was $60. There was one listed on the special's board, and one on the menu. Our server asked us if we wanted truffles on it. Little did we know, it increased the cost to $90. I was a server from high school through graduate school, and I was always transparent with prices, because I have seen customers angry about tiny things like an unexpected sixty cent cost for an extra side of a sauce on their bill. We obviously asked for the MP of a dish. Good job upselling, but our server's actions were deceitful. We have been to many fine dining steak houses and other restaurants in the area, and our meals were never even close to this much.I can only compare the style of Namo to Uchi, at which it is impossible to get a last minute reservation. However, their food is out of this world and worth every penny. We have had significantly more food there that was a little more than half of the cost as at Namo. This is one of the most expensive meals for two that we have had, and considering that the food was not outstanding and my partner was still a little hungry when we left (and, no, we don't eat a ton...but it was literally just sushi or nigiri with small amounts of rice), I cannot recommend this place.

This place slaps hard as hell. From the Spicy Tuna roll to the Fatty Toro we tried it all. Freaking amazing. Closest I’ve felt to eating it in Japan since being there. I give it 5 out of 5 tasty boys.

Top three favorite sushi spots in Dallas! The fish was extremely fresh even when ordered through a delivery service. It is hard to find good takeout and delivery sushi and this is the spot! They execute to another level!

A fantastic Japanese restaurant in Dallas. It is authentic with all of their fish coming from Japan. Special thanks to Sayaka and Johnny who took good care of us. A couple of my recommendations are:
• The Nipponia beer
• Spice Tuna roll
• Hamachi Kosho roll
• Acevichado roll
• Hamachi nigiri

I don’t know where to begin with this phenomenal restaurant, but I can tell you it’s a love story and every time I cheat on them, I feel empty and disappointed. The sushi is incredibly fresh. The combinations are flawless. Chef Jon makes my experience 20x more worth it every visit and I just love this place for making me happy. I’ve been a regular here for 2 years and I will continue to come here forever. Thank you for being amazing.

Had a great time at Namo. The staff was super friendly, they answered all our queries and the food was amazing. Best sushi bar in town!

Namo has definitely moved to one of the top spots on my list. It has a nice atmosphere, very good service and a great selection of high quality fish and meats. Without going into all of the detail of the meal, we had quite a selection of sashimi and nigiri and everything was amazing. I'm not even a scallops fan, but the scallop nigiri was fantastic. The wagyu nigiri was how we ended our meal and had excellent flavor. I'd highly recommend this place for someone seeking a new sushi restaurant with a menu that isn't as standard as most other places.

Sushi was good but extremely overpriced for what you get. $40 for one little piece of uni was ridiculous, even if it was a "super uni". Felt like I was being up charged for sake as well. One little pour of sake was $19.

Handsdown, the best sushi in Dallas. I have been to Namo a few times before writing this review as well as ordering to pick up. I have been twice in the past week, on Sunday I went by myself and I was treated extremely well by everyone on the staff. Namo has a fantastic manager that made me feel like a welcome guest. Tonight I went back with a friend and was greeted by the manager and the server I had the last time, being seen goes a long way and having them recognize you makes you feel comfortable.
My go to first order is the sake sashimi, the salmon is the best quality that I have ever had in Dallas and the presentation is gorgeous. I typically follow up with the Chef's Nigiri Set which is phenomenal, presented well and executed without flaw. I have never had a bad piece of sashimi or nigiri at Namo. My chef tonight was new, he told me he had been there only a month but he was still fantastic. I love to see the entire team work together and especially give him guidance. Namo will always be my go to sushi restaurant here.

Went to Namo for a date night dinner and very pleased. Great fish selection and also a really fun and knowledgeable staff. I have had sushi all over the world and this is one of top 5 places I have been to. Will return again soon but I would recommend this to people looking for a) great food b) fun atmosphere. Highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar if you want to see the action. Great drink selection complements the food.

You'll want to make a reservation to get an inside seat, no large groups. Food is excellent, get nigiri instead of sushi. Bar is a little limited, but you won't mind.
