Sakura Sushi & Ramen🌸

We each ordered 8 piece Sashimi lunch for $18. Miso soup was very good.
Sashimi was fresh, but cut very thin. Too thin. Paper thin.
Presentation was disappointing. Lunch was served on a round dinner plate with a large round scoop of rice on one side, and thin slices of sashimi on the other.
We had to ask for Soya sauce dishes, and wasabi, and chop sticks.
The extra order of Unagi sushi was delicious.
The waitress was very attentive, and knew her menus.
We were disappointed, as the food was mediocre. We were hoping it would be as good as Sakura on Camp Bowie, Fort Worth, which is excellent.
There are plenty of mediocre restaurants in Fort Worth, and this restaurant unfortunately joins them. For almost $50, the value is not there.

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!! It was my daughter and I's 1st time trying it out. The atmosphere is great and very clean. We got the dumplings to start with they where good. Then we got 2 different sushi's Spicy Tuna and another one was a California Roll, they where so good. The ginger didn't have any dyes in it and was crunchy sooo good! Also the Wasabi wasn't watered down and very good and spicy. My Daughter got the Sesame Chicken with fried rice she's REALLLY enjoyed it and I got the Cajun seafood Ramen. The noodles felt homemade! Over all the restaurant was amazing and this will be our new go to place for Asian food.

You can tell every ingredient was fresh and thoughtfully chosen, with every bite leaving us wanting more.

The service was equally outstanding. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, answering all our questions and even making thoughtful recommendations.

Sakura has easily become one of our favorite spots, and we cannot wait to return. If you’re looking for an amazing dining experience with incredible food and top-notch service, this is the place. A true treasure that more people need to discover!

What a great place to eat! We wanted ramen and we got the best! Sakura Sushi Ramen Benbrook, Tx is a fantastic place to eat. Very nice and roomy and the staff was very friendly and wait staff went above and beyond to greet and wait on us. We had Fried Calamari and California Roll to start with, then we ordered TONKATSU RAMEN (PORK BROTH) and SHOYU RAMEN (SOY SAUCE BROTH) which is pictured below. It was a great dinner with a fantastic atmosphere. Great job! We plan to go back soon!

This place is amazing!!!!! The sushi is one of a kind. They have sooooo many selections you cannot go wrong with anything here. This sushi place has become our favorite place to eat. Once you try it you will keep coming back!

You get quality food here it’s clean and beautiful atmosphere. I am surprised that there isn’t a long wait to eat here. Is a good hidden place. Love it!

The food was delicious! We tried three new things that we’ve not tried at other Japanese restaurants before and enjoyed them very much. We tried sushi this time, but overheard the table next to us raving about the ramen.

The service was truly five star. Attentive, informative, menu recommendations were great, check ins on if we liked the new things we were trying - but never felt like we were being hovered over. We will be back next week to try the lunch specials!

We LOVE Sakura!!

I stumbled upon them when looking for AYCE sushi and it did not disappoint. My partner and I come regularly and always enjoy the fresh selections of sashimi and really delicious rolls. We have not had a single thing that tasted bad; not a single crumb or grain of rice was left after each dish we ordered!

So thankful for such an amazing, delicious sushi restaurant not far from home. Thanks, Sakura!

Really wish I had taken a photo or two but I forgot omg it was amazing. Very open dining area with a light and airy atmosphere. The food was amazing as well. Decent selection with options of spice level which was nice. Got a couple sushi rolls and they were delectable, easy to chew, and fresh! The pad Thai was to die for, although I wish I had gotten spicier I asked for the middle ground, but I will know for next time. I definitely will be going back even though I hate traffic out there 😂. Prices were decent too got two rolls and a huge portion of pad thai for 30 bucks. Like it was piled high I was amazed.

There are many many details on menu that are completely incorrect not even close to description that is on the menu. Ingredients are wrong and our missing, sauces incorrect. When you go out to eat and make choices that is the bare minimum. Quality of the several rolls we got were far less than quality than what you get at grocery store unfortunately won't be back as there are dozens of better places close to

Benbrook. I'd hoped for better.

We were passing through at sort of an odd time and just decided to grab something. The food far surpassed my expectations! We got some salmon nigiri, tonkotsu ramen, and shoyu ramen. The fish was fresh, smooth, and delicious. The ramen was beautiful. I wish I had taken a picture. The broth was rich and delicious. Any interaction we had with employees was very friendly and professional. I will definitely stop by again next time I’m in the area.

My first time eating here since it replaced the last restaurant that was in that spot and I was so incredibly pleased. The food came out hot and as ordered. My family and I have eaten there twice, so far the food is good. We've gotten the Scorpion roll, Hot Cheeto roll, Crunchy Roll, Spider Roll & the Spicy Tuna Tempura Roll. They have all been good, no complaints. Though the Scorpion Roll is cut up in many pieces so it's definitely a good amount of sushi for 1 person, maybe for 2.

My husband and son have gotten the shrimp fried rice, and I got the beef yakisoba noodles. It is a bit different on the taste from others I have had, but overall, good. My other son has gotten the General Tso Chicken with fried rice, I didn't try it, but I'm assuming it's good as that's what he's ordered both times. The ambiance is quiet, mellow, and so far, both times we've gone, it's not crowded at all. The waitresses are really friendly and fast, and you get your food brought out to you at a reasonable time. Overall, my family and I like Sakura and will mostly likely continue going back.

Everything was honestly perfect. The staff was friendly and kept checking on me, the food is reasonably priced, and the food was really good. I got the gyoza which I really liked and the Shoyu ramen. The ramen not only tasted amazing, but looked good as well. I will be coming back with some friends next time.

This is THE PLACE! Everything was delicious, Tokyo roll and the ramen 100/100.
The flavors were so good and the rolls are very fulfilling. I definitely recommend the ramen. The service was spot on and felt so welcomed.

I tried this restaurant twice, I really wanted to like it, the food is just okay, it’s asked if everything is lacking in flavour no bold flavours that you expect from a Japanese restaurant. This time I had the Bento Box, it was good, I also had the Takayoki and I can honestly say this is probably the worst thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. The inside was mushy, gluttonies, and dense and then I would come across a rubbery piece of octopus, the mouth feel was so off putting and it was almost flavorless (when I told the waitress, she said nobody likes this dish she she doesn’t know why I told her why I didn’t like it). Then I had fried ice cream, my favourite I had it there the first time no problems I had this time, it looked like the inside of the dough was raw and the waitress said no that was cheesecake so I guess they rolled the ice cream in cheesecake and when they fried it the cheesecake curdled (I’ve never had fried ice cream prepared in this manner ), so again texture was off putting as it was lumpy because it had curdled, I scraped it off and ate ado much as I could I might try it one more time with just the sushi bar we’ll see, so disappointing I was hoping this would be a hotspot for me but I don’t think so. I can only recommend that perhaps they hire a train chef (yes I am making the assumption that they don’t have this already)

Came here on a whim on a Friday night and was surprised to see it dead. The staff were super friendly and attentive, and the sushi chef in the back calls "いらっしゃいませ!" when you enter, which I've never heard at any of the other Japanese restaurant in Fort Worth. The food was pretty much what you would expect, but I couldn't resist trying the Japanese curry, which is hard to find around here. I was a bit disappointed with it. It really needed seasoning and more sauce. The miso ramen didn't have pork belly, but it was SO flavorful. I didn't expect it would be so delicious. I will say, this place was a bit on the pricier side, but good if you're new to Japanese food and want to try it out.

Supposedly new owners and new management, but its the same food. Beef Teriyaki smothered in "Terriyaki" sauce. It tasted boiled, not grilled. Tons of sliced onions as well.
Miso soup tasted like beef broth soup. Basically folks, its Japanese food made by folks that have never eaten Japanese food.

went here couple of times and i would say this place has the best sushi and ramen in town! their rolls are amazing and their food plating also adds value to the dining experience. i'd say the philadelphia roll is a must try! luckily they have an amazing sake which is nigori that i always paired my meal with. lastly, the service here was amazing, they are super attentive and kind to customers. i will definitely be back here soon! 😍

Just vacation to texas for couple days in fort worth and dallas , first time in sakura, which is under new management, andsurpricely the food delicious😚😋and service is good.
Sushi and roll is awesome😍😍😋😋 and so gorgeous🥰(look at pict for detail), feel like luxury one of those in california🥹.

This is a hidden gems in benbrook for a sushi restaurant.
They changed their menus,
Everything seems new,
Now they offer a lot of sushi nigiri and carpacio
My favorite dishes is Yellowtail carpacio and Yellowtail Toro nigiri.
They are doing a good job for the food.
Food tastes marvellous and delicious.
The house soy sauce on the nigiri suits it well and the sauce on the carpacio really brings the taste to the maximum.
I also order the crab rangoon for the appetizer.
Crab rangoon tastes very good even though it makes you a little bit stuffed because it comes in 5 pcs. Pretty good deal.
Also, The service is incredible. The waiters always make sure we are doing okay.
Will be coming back for suree to try the others menu.

Fast food taste better then this, There was on other couple asked for crab ragoons they were out them the couple next to us asked for steak again they were out kinda feel like the cook just didn't want to make it steak was over cooked dumplings were bland and tastless they only have unsweetened tea rootbeer and Pepsi beside water. Fried rice was cold. Veggies under cooked the sushi roll was thay only goo thing we got long wait time for food and not good. Wouldn't recommend

We got there right when they opened for dinner and had the whole place to ourselves. Felt like royalty. First time having garlic edamame I usually just get salted, but now I know to try flavored ones when offered. They all got hibachi chicken or steak. I got the 3 roll sushi combo and the Sakura fried rice. It was all delicious. Also got some Left overs for a midnight snack tonight.

I was given the wrong food. I said what I wanted 3 times. Waiter doesn't seem to understand English. After returning food they brought us the right food. fish was not fresh. I was kind of scared. The sushi role was not good. I should have known by the empty parking lot and empty restaurant. We won't be back. simply honest review.Side note. My water was never refilled and they never even checked on us.

The food and service were fantastic! The miso soup tasted like comfort food. I wanted something quick but good for lunch. I didn't want a chain restaurant since I was visiting from out of town. I was the only customer, but when I pulled up, people were leaving, and when I was leaving, people were coming. It seems like I had just missed the lunch crowd, or they get more dinner business. I would definitely recommend it and go back next time I'm in the area.

Enjoyed having dinner here! We enjoyed the Dragon Sushi Roll and the Ramen Noodles with hot green tea. The owner is so sweet and had exceptional customer service.

Ordered fried calamari for appetizer, it was over cooked that you couldn’t chew it!!! The waitress had no knowledge of menu items and seemed to just be there to collect a check! Honestly, worst service I’ve ever had!! First impressions are lasting impressions! AND, did not refund me for the over cooked calamari!!

As a Benbrook resident, I want this place to succeed. However my one and likely last experience at this place was on a Friday night during what should be considered peak hours. When we walked in there was no one at the reception area and took about 5 minutes to be seated when there were currently only 2 tables in the entire restaurant, not a big deal to me but just thought it odd since the dining room was empty. After we got seated we ordered a few sushi rolls and what I will say is that the sushi was good. I’m no sushi expert, I like my sushi in multiple rolls but I loved the eel roll and my girlfriend liked her two rolls so as far as sushi goes, I think this place is just as close to other local sushi places and priced about the same. My biggest negative here and the reason I rated so low, is because I ordered the hibachi steak and scallops. Now, I don’t expect it to be cooked in front of me obviously but when I order steak medium rare with scallops for $23 I expected a decent amount of steak like I get at Edohana‘s however when I received 7 small bite sized pieces well done, and “fried rice” that was burnt without the veggies or egg, and veggies that were soaked in oil, I was immediately turned off.

Overall I’d only come back to this place for sushi just because I want to help out a Benbrook business but would not recommend the hibachi.

I want this place to make it so badly. Finally benbrook has a place for quality sushi and the fried rice is hands down the best I’ve had in Fort Worth. The ramen was sub par, but if you stick to the basics, sushi and fried rice, it’s spot on. I’m sad that it’s not on a main road because you can tell they are struggling to get people into the doors. Staff is friendly, nothing fancy about the interior, but the sushi is high quality. Please visit so this place can have a chance to get rolling. The only draw back is price- it’s priced like a high quality sushi place should be, but the overall atmosphere is a little lacking. We got 3 rolls, Sakura fried rice, and 2 waters and after tip our total was around $60

We came here with my parents and the food was top notch. We all got different sushi and some appetizers. My father travels for work and has had a lot of different sushi from all over the US, and he said this would be his number two in best sushi! Will be back for more fresh, yummy sushi!
Side note, I will say it might make you nervous because hardly anyone's ever there, but trust me it's worth going to!

It’s been a while since a review was written it seems. I hope this place sticks around! I did not experience any weird smells whatsoever. Service was fantastic, but that could be because it was slow. I came at dinner time and it was empty so I hope service picks up. The food is great in my opinion. I usually get an appetizer, sushi, and fried rice. It’s not your typical fried rice but so good! Is it a little pricey? Yes. But what isn’t nowadays? Give it a try!

Fun place. Not busy when we were there. Very accommodating our party of 6, then 8, then 9. Very reasonably priced entrees. Everyone enjoyed their food. Definitely get the garlic edamame.

Excellent new Sushi and Hibachi restaurant in town. The service was quick and friendly and you could tell that this place is still flying under the radar after their recent Grand Opening. I can't imagine that will last for long. We focused on the sushi for our first trip and it didn't disappoint! Fan favorites like the Rainbow Roll and Casino Roll (known by many names but available at every sushi joint you go to) were just as you'd expect from a great sushi spot. The real surprise was their "Cherry Blossom" roll. Their chef has crafted a delicate sauce with sweet notes of cherries and citrus that has a cleansing effect on the pallette. This roll beguiles the senses and hints of desserts from the summers of a childhood long ago. A must-try item at a must-visit new restaurant in Benbrook. We sorely needed a new flavor in town and I, for one, and excited to have Sakura join our community. Pro Tip for first time visitors - we didn't see alcohol on their menu but it is available! Beers, hot sale, etc. Just ask. Cheers!

Let me start with, they have a lot of meal choices so there is most likely a meal you will enjoy. My hibachi steak meal was fairly tasty. My husband had the hibachi chicken and that was a bit dry, but had good flavor. The dishes had a fair amount of meat and we liked the broth soup that came with meal. The salad was simple and cold and served with the house dressing, the only dressing, which was slightly sweet.

My dad and I were looking for a place to have take out after a long day. I had chicken karaage and yaki soba with chicken. My dad had shrimp fried rice and spicy tuna rolls. We both loved it all, especially the yaki soba. Will absolutely be the place that we will go to in benbrook when we want Asian food. Highly recommend.

Service was horrible! Waitress was MIA for most of the meal leaving us without water for a long time with primarily salty food. Also didn't inform us that "served with soup or salad" did not mean any soup of our choice and we ended up with a $15 upcharge to our bill because of it. Highly don't recommend if good service is what you are looking for!

This was my first time at this place, sadly it will also be my last. This is my honest review;

First things first, when you walk in you can smell sewage, not sure why. We went around 12 pm and we were the only ones in there.( 2 people came in right before we left, which was about 1pm)

It took a few minutes to even be asked what we wanted to drink, once we ordered our drinks came pretty fast, which is expected since we were the only customers in there. But it took a good 10-15 min before we were even asked what we wanted to eat.(We had to call someone over to take our order)

Food took awhile to come out, I ordered the Japanese Chicken Curry, a salad came out with it, the salad didn’t have the ginger taste that most places have, the dressing tasted like mayo, which if you like mayo with your salad then this is the one for you. Honestly the food was very bland and didn’t have any flavor to it. (To add when I was done with my salad, instead of having me take out my own fork from the salad bowl, the waiter took my fork out from the salad bowl and put it in my Chicken Curry bowl. I thought this was strange.)

I don’t think the price of the food reflects the quality of what you get.

I do hope this place will make improvements to better fit their customers. I would like to see this place succeed. We need more restaurants in benbrook, fast food has taken over.

I hate to complain as I know that they’re new so I will definitely give them another chance later on and change my review. Both people working were nice so I’m rooting for them! The California Roll was good but sat there after they hit the bell to let the server know it was ready. I looked over and the server was sitting at a table on his phone. They hit the bell multiple times. The crab rangoons were hard, hot on the outside and a little cold on the inside. The ramen was on the gross side. The broth reminded me of dishwater and smelled weird. The noodles held the shape of the bowl like they had been sitting in there a while.

Just moved to the area…but having experienced authentic Japanese food, this has to be one of the worst places to eat from.. giving one star because the customer service was good. The food was just horrible, bland, and way overpriced for what it was! Definitely one step above Panda Express if people think this place is a must for food, they clearly need to get out and experience authentic food. I don’t know how this place has anything more than 2 stars.. Sometimes local is just not better…

So excited that Benbrook finally has a Japanese restaurant! I had the Cherry Blossom roll and it was delicious, so fresh, with a lovely light zesty sauce. I am super picky about sushi & I was so impressed. Come on people of Benbrook, let’s make sure this restaurant is a success, we no longer have to drive 20 minutes to get sushi!

Very good food with over 30 rolls to choose from. Chefs are very skilled and great restaurant for just grand opening. My boyfriend has Hibachi shrimp and really likes it too. Coyote was kind and helpful. I would come back soon.

This is a very nice place to eat. The prices are about the same at a very nice Sushi restaurant. Expect to spend close to 100. but well worth it. I'm happy to see another nice restaurant in Benbrook.

3.5 -My DH really liked the Sushi. People on FB raved about it so it was nice to get the Sushi he expected. Ramen was mid, pretty bland even with soy sauce added. We didn't feel was worth the price considering a place downtown is better, nicer and cheaper. Nice place if you wanna stay in Benbrook.

This place has potential but I'll start with the bad: there is a distinct sewage smell right off the bat. Needs to be addressed immediately if they are trying to be serious. The service is slow but I think thats mostly from lack of employment. I don't believe the elderly lady serving us was an actual server but she was nice and friendly. She was working register, and helping out everywhere so she may be the owner. Not her fault. Positives: miso soup was great and so was the sushi. The buns were more roll like and dry than traditional bao buns I've had. The bbq pork was overdone. The edamame was good and the sake was great. Rice was delicious. I was overcharged because the miso soup was supposed to be included with my dish but after waiting 25 min for my check I didn't want to cause a delay disputing it. We had sake and beers but I felt I've paid less for better at other places. It's still early and willing to give it another shot. At this point I'd only go if it's you and one more person. We had 5 and it seemed to overwhelm them.

Love love this place!! The food was delicious! We ate a bunch of sushi as well as the dinner hibachi plate. I definitely recommend the Benbrook Roll, Crazy Dog, and Red Dragon. The sushi chef was awesome with recommendations. All the staff made it a great experience. If you haven't been yet, I would absolutely check it out!

I sooo wanted to like this place. It would be nice to have a decent sit down restaurant here in Benbrook with good food and service, but this ain't it. When we were seated, the area by our table smelled like sewage. Then, our appetizer came out with our food. We ordered Philly rolls and they came out warm and we really should have sent them back. We both ate a few but couldn't finish them because they weren't fresh and tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. The food was poor quality for a high price. When we got home we both got very sick from food poisoning. Im still sick as im writing this review. Needless to say we won't be coming back. Why is it so hard to get quality restaurants in Benbrook?

I really wanted to like this new restaurant but, I was disappointed. The food quality is on par with Panda Express but the prices are on par with a higher end Japanese restaurant. The meals were not plated well, the atmosphere was not pleasing, the portions were ok but not great, and prices were too high for what you get. The restaurant will not last very long unless they make some changes soon.

This place is awesome! Our server was coyote, and he is an absolute gem! He was very sweet, took care of us completely, and even suggested stuff for us to try next time. I took my daughter there for a lunch date, and she devoured the california roll. Our hibachi was perfection, and we will for SURE be back. You have to try this place, the food is absolutely delicious!!

Went during the soft opening. I ordered the Harumaki egg roll, pineapple fried rice, and the cowboy roll, and my fiance ordered the steam bao bun and the tonkatsu Ramen. We also split tako-yaki and creme brulee. Overall we are very satisfied with the taste and quality of the food. (Only minor complaint is that the bao buns were a little dry.)

Our server, Coyote, was really nice and we felt like he took care of us, and seems like he really enjoys what he's doing.

We'll definitely be back!
