Is it too dorky if I say this place really rocks? The staff is like the friendliest! I think only 1 vegetarian ✅️ sushi option, but still tasty. The staff all seem to be so cool and this spot has a great atmosphere. I was seated really quickly but man it really filled up fast! Very popular place to dine at.

Had the 20 dollar sushi Ramen combo. The service was not only excellent but speedy! The bagel sushi was delicious, and I even had the pleasant surprise of some fresh wasabi to boot. I only wish they had some choice of udon or fried chicken katsu. Can't wait to go back and try the fried rice. Also, I have to make sure to give Josh an extra special shout out to for his stellar service. He told me they were under new manament, so if you haven't stopped by in a while, come see what's changed.

My wife and I found this completely by accident, and we couldn't be happier about that!

From the moment you walk in, you become awe struck by the atmosphere and decorum. It really gives off the Rock and Roll vibes! They also show music videos from some of the greatest bands of the rock and roll era!

The staff are very friendly and kind and quick to help with any issue that may arise.

The food is an incredible addition to an already cool venue. I recommend the Headbanger Shrimp appetizer, which has their signature Headbanger sauce drizzled over the top of their hand battered fried shrimp and served on a bed of fresh greens, absolutely delicious!

I took my daughter here for the first time today for her birthday and was the best decision! Not only was the food absolutely superb (I’ll pass on seaweed salad next time though 🥴🤣 hey, gotta try everything once!), but the service was the best I have had at a restaurant in ages! Ben was our waiter and he was very attentive, made awesome conversation and made great recommendations! I probably sang a little too loud 🥴 but how can you not with such great music?!

I loved everything about this place. We had the legends roll as an appetizer and let me just say it tasted phenomenal. I'm not huge on sushi, but I would come back for that alone. The chicken and the filet Mignon hibachi was also packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Even down to the rice and vegetables had alot of flavor. Our waitress was very nice and welcoming. We also enjoyed the awesome rock and roll atmosphere and music. I would definitely recommend the hibachi and legends roll. 🤌

First time at the place. WOW! Food was beautiful and delicious. I'm not a big sushi guy but I guess I am now. Our server Josh was attentive, had a great attitude and made sure we were taken care of! He said he is in a band so we will definitely have to catch one of his shows. Will be back!

I have absolutely zero complaints about this restaurant. This was my fiancé and I’s first time. The food AND service was impeccable! Miss Latoya was very friendly and very informative with her service. I love the location and the atmosphere of the restaurant! Clarksville needed this, keep it up!!

We’ve visited this location three times, and each experience has been progressively worse. Every visit, at least two menu items were unavailable, including rice on one occasion. The service is consistently poor, even during slow periods. When we requested refills, our waitress brought room temperature sweet tea without ice cubes. We won’t be returning to this location or any other RocknRoll Sushi for the foreseeable future.

This time, I ordered five rolls in total, an appetizer sampler, and an order of chicken fried rice. We started with three rolls, and one was basically just rice and cream cheese. The other two were decent, so we reordered them, but they came out completely different. The chicken fried rice was soggy and mushy in spots, yet hard and chewy in others. RocknRoll Sushi should look into their franchise partnerships because this is pretty embarrassing..

Rock was only 21st century. Very loud and Raw. Service was flippant about their job. Place was near empty, and food service was noticeably unbusy. But it took over an hour to get out our order. All of our party had disappointing dishes, whether it was salads, sushi rolls or other platters. The chef doesn't even do the sushi rice right, which wasn't able to stay packed on the rolls.

Jaden the bartender was fun I never had to ask for a refill she was johnny on the spot. Had great conversation and lots laughs and good food. Highly recommend this establishment.

My husband and I absolutely love this place. It’s more worth it to dine in than order delivery. Reason being, the last two years I have ordered rock n roll sushi through Uber eats or doordash, whoever packs the food always misses half the order. I don’t ever blame the Uber eats driver for missing our food. The receipt attached to our bag always has a mark next to the food items they packed whereas the items always missing are never marked because the employees either forget or don’t pay close enough attention. I can’t remember the last time I received a correct food order from rock n roll sushi. Today, half my order was missing and wasn’t marked on the bag receipt. We ordered chicken hibachi, side of fried rice, 2 Japanese bagel rolls, and 2 salmon rolls. More than half my order was missing as ALL sushi rolls were not included in the bag. I only received the hibachi and rice. This happens way to often and is such a disappointment. I have spoken to management just to give them a heads up this continues to happen because I would want to know if I ran a restaurant if people were always missing their food, yet it still happens every time we order. Pay attention to the receipts when bagging the food. I always look forward to eat their food because sushi is my favorite but they never come through with the correct orders.

Chewiest sushi ive ever had, and sushi is strong wording because the rolls were 90% rice that sat next to whatever fish was on the menu covered in more sauce than necessary. Front door is also broken so it either slams loud af or stays open and freezes anyone near it. Service, existed. Wasnt bad. Couldnt call it good, just mid. I’ve been wanting to come here for a while but haven’t made time till today. It wasn’t very good sadly. All the food (except the steak) seemed processed or fake. The To-Go $25 order came with barely anything. Most Habachi’s places serve plenty but this was a child portions.

The service was fantastic, the young lady was super nice. Disregarding the suggested tip of 20% on the receipt.

We were greeted by our server who was seated and eating the whole time she was telling us that we could sit where we were. There were many things on the menu that they were out of. My rolls come out looking in poor condition and they look completely different from the exact order that I’ve experienced at 3 separate RNR locations. When this was brought up to my server she continued to tell me how I was wrong and that my order was correct. 0/10 would not return to this location.

Had a coupon and didn't regret going. Love the sushi! But was a little bit pricey for what you get. But I guess that's everywhere nowadays. Staff there are super cool and friendly!
Music was Rock n Roll inside, hence the name...and as much as I love Rock n Roll, it was just a little bit loud for our lunchtime. We got it to go. I can see where in the night, the scene would be hip and fun to eat and hang out with friends! Hope you will like it too.

At no fault of the waitress this location has really “gone down hill.” When they first opened the food was great, owners and management were great and involved. Yesterday my daughter and I go in and they are out of multiple things we try to order. My soda was carbonated water with no syrup, then when we did get our food my daughter had to cover her food in sauce to make it taste good and my sushi roll had a hair in it!! I’m sad to say that will probably be our last visit to this location.

Well I thought this place would be FANTASTIC from the reviews, but that was not the case. I had the worst experience I've ever had at a sit down restaurant. No napkins, no chopsticks, got food that I didn't order and they they took it upon themselves to replace my meal with a more expensive one because they didn't have what I ordered. And didn't even ask I'd that's what I wanted to do. It was a waste of money. My 15month old son wouldn't even eat anymore after the first bite if that says anything. I don't know how this place is still even open.

They were woefully understaffed with one person on the floor. She was working to keep up. Plastic everything nowadays; cups, silverware. For the price point today, it had no value other than the food and we didn't get all of that. We have been here several times and it has always been great food, great service but today was off. I want to see them back on par. Will go again due to the food but please do better and let me feel good about spending my money. Maybe have a drink menu again....

Let me rave about the sushi roll I just had, but first, my server Liyah was so sweet, prompt and helpful. I had the crispy wonton, always delicious, and the experience roll and added crispness too it. We ended up switching out the mango for the punkrock topping and let me tell you what! It was one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. The combination of the fresh strawberries with the sweet chili sauce, holy cow! So flipping good!!!!

I have always had a decent experience when I have visited in the past. I recently visited on 2/14 and had an unpleasant experience. We ordered our food and about 25 minutes passed before the waiter explained that they were out of hibachi rice. He informed that they could only substitute for a sushi roll, I was okay with that. We also ordered a kids chicken hibachi meal. I asked the waiter if the kids meal would still be free since it was Wednesday and kids eat free on Wednesdays. The waiter came back and told me that they don’t do free kids meals on Wednesdays any longer. I informed the waiter that I would like to speak with someone else because it was still advertised on the host podium. The waiter came back and said that the only thing they could do was substitute for a sushi roll. I told him to just take the kids meal off and that I would still take the 2 sushi rolls I ordered. I waited another 30 minutes and still did not receive my food, and no one checked on my table at all, no update or anything! I witnessed employees walking out of the kitchen multiple times going outside the back door. My waiter walked right past my table to go to the bathroom and stayed in the bathroom for what felt like 10 minutes. I was at the restaurant for over an hour and only received a water! I am a fairly patient person but we received absolutely no updates. I ended up just walking out.

Stopped in yesterday and had a solid experience! The sushi was tasty, but I'll be honest, it was WAY too busy. I tend to lean towards more simple stuff and their Headliner items are running like 6-10 ingredients. Service was excellent! I'll branch out to different stuff on the next visit and see what else they have to offer.

If you have a favorite place already in the area that you trust will be good..then go there. This place is over rated and expensive...your place is probably cheaper than the Rock n Roll Sushi. Plus the sushi rolls are small in size. They have less rice than regular Sushi places or Hibachi restaurants. Their crab wontons and egg rolls aren't that great.

Visiting Clarksville for work and the board at my hotel had restaurant suggestions, and I was passing it on my way back home. Stopped in because it sounded nifty and BOY am I glad I did. It was so good. Fried sushi rolls are top tier for me and this was a big part of their menu. It was quiet when I went, but it was a Tuesday afternoon during a holiday week. But the staff were all super welcoming and chill, accommodated allergies with ease,and the atmosphere was on point. 10000/10 will visit again. We need one of these in Chattanooga!!

Let me start off by saying the actual sushi is superb and on par with some higher end sushi.
However the pricing for EVERYTHING not just the sushi is insane. $15 for six pieces of sushi is robbery and $4 for a small bowl of miso soup just makes it worse.
I paid $60 for two sushi and a solo hibachi bowl. Justify this because my wallet can't. Now I can forgive all of this if we had speedy service, but we did not..
The servers are friendly and awesome but when you have to wait 30 mins for two sushi then it doesn't matter how much they smile. Not only that but they brought out my Dad's solo hibachi bowl a solid 15 mins before the sushi... A cardinal sin of ANY restaurant is to serve a dish before ALL dishes are ready. So my father had finished his meal by the time our sushi was made, leaving him twiddling his thumbs as I savored the 6 pieces of sushi that I waited half an hour for..
You're paying for youtube reruns of MTV on the wall and I guess a trendy joint. Will I come back? Not likely.
It's a nice place if you got deep pockets and time on your hands.

There highlight dishes are there sush rolls. However. The hibachi plates are, dare I say basic? Sauté vegetables that came to my table lukewarm/cold, cooked shrimp topped with teriyaki sauce and ginger soup that taste like fish food smells. I’ve been to much better places that have had better dishes to offer aside from sushi rolls. This place is a must come to, IF you only want rolls. Aside from that. I don’t recommend this place.

First time trying a chain sushi place and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was great, food was excellent, and music was a nice touch and not overwhelming to the point you had to talk over it. Overall, great experience and will definitely be back. The owner, Brad, also seems like a genuinely good guy that cares about his staff and the customers.

Update: Apparently when the owner is not in the building, the service dives. Two people ended up serving us at various points back and forth. We were the only customers at the time. Then, several menu items were unavailable at 3pm on a Thursday. We ordered 2 rolls- 1 to go roll, I ordered the hibachi trio with fried rice, and my wife ordered as a meal, an extra side of fried rice and an egg roll.

They brought the to go roll on a plate before any other food came out. They brought just the egg roll for my wife a few minutes later. Then they brought the other roll we ordered and a few minutes later the hibachi trio.

The hibachi trio was beyond bland. It was essentially just heated, unseasoned meat with a sauce drizzled over the chicken and shrimp. The fried rice was soggy. It was as though it had been microwaved or maybe segregated reheated. It was inedible.
After finishing the roll and what I could of the hibachi trio, my wife's fried rice finally made an appearance and it too was the same inedible consistency of the ball on the plate with my order.

We weren't sure why her fried rice took so long when there was some on my plate, and frankly, we didn't care. We were over the experience.

What was an amazing experience the first time went so far south we won't be back.

REALLY wanted to try this restaurant, but service was terrible. We got seated and ordered, but after 20+ minutes I asked the waitress how much longer for our food and was told that she forgot to input our order and that it would be another 15 minutes. We have two kids and the waitress did not seem to care or was even apologetic. Will definitely not be back

Great and friendly service. Avocado in sushi roll was extremely hard which ruined 😫 my first eating experience at this establishment. Prices are fair but I was a bit disappointed about the sushi roll.

Sushi rolls now look like they are on a diet.
Very thin sliced little over 1/4” thick.
Not many pieces given.
This place used to be good.

A-lot of employees walking around not knowing what each other is doing.
Slow service.

Like many other restaurants no leadership and quality has diminished.

The first time I went here when the first opened the service and food was 10/10 so great. However over the course of time they continued to get worse and worse. This past time we it was absolutely disgusting the food. I order a spider roll and I felt like I could smell it from the plate to my face the most foul odor. Then they had this giant piece of rotten lettuce in the middle of the roll. Then it took 40 mins just to get my husbands beer when they weren’t even busy and the waitress and bartenders were too busy talking. The fried rice was soggy, the crispy wontons were soggy. Unfortunately what use to be my favorite place we will no longer returning.

We ordered poke bowl, sushi roll, fillet mignon and chicken from hibachi. Poke bowl was dry, it didn’t have any dressing on. When I asked our waiter if it comes with a dressing, he said no. After we finished eating I saw on the menu that it does come with a dressing. Fillet mignon was tough and dish was barely warm.Sushi roll came with no ginger, nor wasabi. When we asked for it, they charged us for it. Would not recommend this place.

We arrived, and there were 3 employees talking at the bar, no one greeted us or looked up right away. Once seated the service was fine. The menu has few options for those allergic to crustaceans (shrimp, crab, lobster) almost all rolls had at least one of them. Other options were tuna, salmon and yellow tail but again most combined with the above mentioned. To substitute yellowtail in a roll that sounded awesome there was an upcharge. So I opted for hibachi. It was a nice amount of food, but the fried rice was awful. It was over seasoned, wet, and mushy. There are vastly better sushi and hibachi options in town. The atmosphere was fine, and fit the theme, but a little too loud for the small restaurant. I don't think I will go back. As I said there are better options in town.

For us, it took a very long time to get our appetizer and entrees.Then only 2 of our party were served their entrees and the other 2 were served much later. Almost thought the kitchen had forgotten us. Wouldn't return on the basis of getting the same service. We ordered the hibachi and you could tell it sat a while before it was served to us. The temperature wasn't hot and it had that "set" appearance.

The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is chill and they have variety music playing which I love. The staff is also super sweet and nice every time I come or bring my friends and family thank you guys!

I heard this place had really good sushi, so I had to try it out. Unfortunately, I'm doing keto right now so I can only attest to the hibachi and sashimi, but my kids are sushi connoisseurs so I'll relay their opinions.

First off - they have Coke Zero! Diet Coke is not good at all. The smoked salmon sashimi was relatively cheap, had a nice presentation, and was tasty. I had the chicken hibachi meal which was ok. The only sauce they had for dipping was the yum-yum sauce. The miso soup was really good.

The sushi rolls looked good and my kids gobbled them up. They did say the wasabi could have been stronger.

I'm taking 2 stars off for the price and for the lack of flexibility in switching items out. Price wise - quite expensive compared to other sushi places in town. Yes, it's good food, but not for the price in my opinion. As far as flexibility, I wanted to switch the fried rice out for a salad in my hibachi meal, and they refused. Weird hill to die on.

The food quality is substandard for the price point. Filet mignon hibachi plate was 60% onions and the meat portion was small. The rice was underseasoned and poorly executed. Sushi tasted okay, but was not worth the asking price. Overall would not recommend. The bathroom was covered in fake alligator skin.

Do not sleep on this place. The food is soooo good. Great service and the atmosphere is just right. You do not have to sit with a group of folk to get your food. I meant to take a picture of my food bc the presentation was fabulous couldn't wait to dive in. But I did get a picture of what was left before so I took my last bite. Even ate the drippings. Will definitely return. I forgot to mention that a very nice young man with dreads gave me a lesson on how to use the chopsticks. They even have a tool to help with that at well.

Always kind, always friendly, always good food! My family goes here often and I have yet to be disappointed in the service, food, or wait. Highly recommend the baked VIP roll or the Jailhouse. The combat tea tastes like a candy peach ring!

They messed up my togo order! When I came back they fixed the roll to the correct ingredients but it still didn’t taste very good! They gave me a free dine in appetizer card for messing up my order. I didn’t want to come back but I thought I’d give it another try since I had the free appetizer card. This time I tried the hibachi food. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Everything was awful except the free appetizer! I gave them two tries. Service was decent though.

The food took forever to come out. 40 minutes before the appetizer was served and it only arrived after I tried to cancel the order and pay my tab. Nobody knows the music they were playing.

*Review written after 3rd visit*
Friendly staff, clean environment including chairs and booths, bathrooms and exterior of building. They have some Hibachi style meals here as well. Few apps are pricy for quantity but flavor is there and all visits food has been fresh and hot. Last visit switched for soy paper in rolls, $1 upcharge but worth it ! will be doing that from now on. Flavor did not impede with The Thriller Sushi Roll. Jail House Roll is another one the table liked, we did order dessert. Cheese cake did come with a fair amount of chocolate , was a good enough portion to share. Picture's below are of the tri app , then the Stage divers. I took my daughter here for the first time today for her birthday and was the best decision! Not only was the food absolutely superb (I’ll pass on seaweed salad next time though 🥴🤣 hey, gotta try everything once!), but the service was the best I have had at a restaurant in ages! Ben was our waiter and he was very attentive, made awesome conversation and made great recommendations! I probably sang a little too loud 🥴 but how can you not with such great music?!

Great place with great sushi. Service was impeccable and food was amazing. Seating is not the best as your options are chairs near the front door(drafty) or booths by the bathroom... but if you are lucky to find seating somewhere between... its a great time. Seating aside, I will definitely be back.

This was a terrible experience from start to finish. After we were seated no one ever came around to wait on us. There was only two other tables and there were about 5 employees that were milling about. I tried several times to wave someone over and everyone looked right past me. I finally had to verbally get their attention. Every employee seemed annoyed and had no energy at all in what should have been a very energetic environment. We ordered sushi for appetizers and my husband’s entree came out 5 minutes before the sushi ever did. His entree was lukewarm. My sushi was good though. I watched one waitress holding someone’s plate of food and talking to another server for a couple of minutes before delivering it. It was clearly a lack of attention and care. I didn’t see anyone smile the whole time we were there. Our server did apologize at the end and comped our drinks. I will be finding another place to get sushi.

Seams like a good at atmosphere, how ever dampened by our waitress trinity. A true example of everyone deserves a trophy generation. As other waitress's worked hard to please they're guests, ours was constantly gone. Un knowledgeable of the menu and argumentive of a problems she created.

WOW!! Absolutely amazing. The Red Tuna on the Crowd Surfer Roll was so fresh and silky. The piece de resistance was the dessert though. The Amped Up Cheesecake is phenomenal!! Deep-fried Cheesecake....who knew!! The staff is super friendly. Will definitely go back as there are tons of rolls to try.

Decided to stop by here after work with a friend. I ordered one sushi roll, 2 side orders of chicken, and a brownie. The sushi was tightly compacted in its container and this caused it to be covered in wasabi and ginger which I hoped to not happen. The chicken was extremely tiny compared to what they had told me and very rubbery and bland in texture and taste. The brownie was probably the only good part seeing as it is very difficult to mess up something that seemed microwaved. Ended up tossing over half of my meal as I’d rather starve than eat this none sense. Plus there’s a takeout fee, I was charged to leave the establishment with the food I paid for.

Went here for the first time tonight. We had high expectations but the delivery of the food went above and beyond. Everything was amazing. The sushi, cocktails (highly recommend the bloody mary), the hibachi was better then anywhere I have had before, and the twist they put on the appetizers was outstanding! Service was fast and fantastic with a knowledgeable server (Latoya). HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The food was AB SO LUTELY Deeelicious. We pulled in town wanting to get a quick bite to eat. We had the appetizer sampler and we loved the eggrolls so much we ordered some. We also had the VIP roll and is was full of a plethora of flavors. Sooo good. Will definitely go back. The servers were great as well which added to the great experience. Btw, shout out to Trinitee( I hope I spelled it right) and the entire crew. They all worked well together. The drink was good, the atmosphere was fun, and the staff was super friendly.

ROCK AND ROLLLLLLL!! It's my 2nd time going to Rock and Roll Sushi, and I can say that it's my favorite spot for sushi. I'm from Florida, and to be honest, it's better than the fishing state. The wontons are superb for an appetizer, and the sushi is so fresh and divine. Last but not least is the Hall of Fame Brownies. When I say that you want the ooy gooy hot and cold sugar rush, get the delightful dish. The environment is so different when stepping through the doors. Rock music is playing and the staff is so friendly. Go here for an experience. Call for Ashley, she will hook yall up. 🤟🏽
