I was initially worried about trying this place due to the reviews, but I’m glad I actually super glad I decided to come!!! The sushi was WONDERFUL. It is the best all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in the area. Service was quick enough, and the quality is GREAT. We will be coming back, time and time again. Thanks Cayenne!

This place has ruined going out to sushi for me. Between the great price and the quality, you can’t get a better deal or meal. It’s not worth going anywhere else. My boyfriend and I will drive an hour one way to get all you can eat sushi here.
They offer the option of nigiri or sashimi, hand roll or regular roll, a selection of appetizers, and special rolls.
The wait in between rounds is long but worth it, and the staff is very nice!

Ok the reviews scared me for the longest! I was like don’t wanna deal with the sushi chef but finally took my friend for her birthday. Well I was pleasantly surprised! Went in Thursday night around 545pm. It was slow so it was great. I did not do the all you can eat option because I can barely finish one roll and not worth it. I loved their Tom yum soup/nime chow. I did buy one roll it was good. Chicken satay was ehhh…..ok. Wasn’t horrible. Peanut sauce on point though! Sooooo good have to ask for it on side for satay and nine chow.

My friend however did the all you can eat she got two rolls and he it was out fast including mine and another friends roll. The chef before we ordered came out and smiled and said hi and walked back! That’s where I was like wow he seems super nice! Maybe if it’s busy he probably has another personality lol but thankfully it was enjoyable and yummy!!! Now the AYCE the apps come out in 4 pieces just fyi. Some rolls are 6 some rolls are 8 pieces.

Just some feedback for the All You Can Eat

- If on your first round you order two rolls and a couple appetizers and you don’t finish I would think at that point you should be allowed to take home leftovers because it’s not like you are really being screwed over. If you have like 5 pieces and a couple crab Rangoon left over and it’s first round we didn’t come to screw you over just it was delicious and we were not being gluttons. Now second round I can totally see that! Hope you make some changes❤️

TLDR:
A very fulfilling and diverse All-You-Can-Eat sushi dinner for $35 w/ tip. Relatively long wait before sushi gets on the table, but the quality is great. Service can be hit or miss depending on time and table size.

Came with a handful of friends on a weekday night, so there wasn't a big crowd, but still several tables. Cayenne gave a slightly shady first impression, but it wasn't that bad once we sat down and started getting food.

The AYCE comes in rounds - you check what you want for each round, and they will get it to the table, giving you and the restaurant a chance to pace yourself. However, each leftover piece is charged $1: sashimi, sushi, nigiri, or whatnot. The owners keep a close eye on that, so definitely avoid overordering off the bat.

The wait between appetizers and the sushi can be overbearing (~45 min), but it makes sense: There are only a handful of sushi chefs, and they present everything you order per round at the same time on a single plate, regardless of how much or how little you order for yourself.

I personally liked the nigiri/sashimi here better than the sushi rolls. I enjoyed their scallion pancakes as well. Most of what we ordered here was fantastic, so try as much as possible without leaving any leftovers!

This has become my weekly sushi fix place!
It’s about a 50 minute drive from my house but it’s worth it!
Yesterday was my first time experiencing the owner and I have to say all those awful reviews about him some rude and screaming person are wrong! He served me three out of my four orders and he was very nice and pleasant!
The woman that is the waitress is beyond amazing and has a killer smile and amazing personality!
Now on to the food…
To get the best bang for your buck don’t order negiri! Way too much rice and little fish! Get it sashimi style and get the hand rolls!
Definitely recommend this place 100%!

I ordered the sushi pizza, an order of salmon sushi, and a salmon avocado roll to go. The lady at the counter was super helpful and very sweet and I had my meal within 15 minutes of ordering. To be fair, I do think the salmon nigiri had a bit more rice than I would have liked, with incredibly thin salmon on top. The soy sauce was very salty, and I know you're probably wondering why I wrote that because soy sauce is normally salty, this was abnormally over-the-top salty. So I had some sushi-grade soy sauce at home that I used instead and it was great. The salmon avocado roll however, was delicious, and to my surprise the sushi pizza was absolutely fantastic! I've never seen sushi pizza before so naturally being a lover of both pizza and sushi, I absolutely had to try it. It was definitely worth price, I will definitely be back.

Some of these 1 star reviews are wack. Like the one where the kid got charged a little for trying a few pieces? Man, your kid ate, this isn't some "kids eat free place." If you're poor just say so. And the one claiming to have gone there for the 5 years and that they suddenly changed to AYCE? Its been that way for years. I call cap. Never seen any signs of any mouse droppings and its always clean in there. Probably some hater or competitor business.

This place charges if you have a leftover $1 each and you can’t take any of your leftover to go. But, they messed up our order and we were charged for those also for a toddler who just tried a few things they charged 7$.

Didn’t enjoy it, food was ok but the service and overall experience wasn’t great.

I wish I could give this place 6/5 stars! This place is AMAZING! My husband and I are huge sushi lovers and this place was unbelievably delicious! We got the “all you can eat” sushi dinner and it was $30- couldn’t believe how affordable it was! Every bite was amazing- we can’t recommend this place enough!

The sushi is inexpensive but still good, I always order for takeout on the website. I've never had a problem here and have ordered 10-15 times over the last couple of years. Great place if you just want to eat some sushi and not break the bank. This place is underrated considering the price.

So the food was good sushi and fresh..when it came. The servers were nice enough and accommodating. Unfortunately the kitchen could not keep up with the orders and myself and my partner ended up canceling our second round of sushi after waiting almost 45 minutes. It was disappointing 😞. My advice don't come here during weekend nights because you will wait.

Tonight I ordered salmon/avocado rolls and yellowtail/scallion rolls, miso soup, and spring rolls online. The order was ready when I arrived and the staff was very friendly. Everything was super fresh and delicious, and prices were good.
Last time I was here, I got the AYCE sushi and loved it. I highly recommend it!

RUDEST EXPERINCE I'VE EVER HAD. I visited this restaurant with my friends for a meal. While we were waiting for a table, a sushi chef came out and told us that we should go to another restaurant instead of dining at theirs. Later, we found out that this person was actually the manager of the restaurant. My friends and I were quite shocked by the situation, so we asked for an explanation. The manager mentioned that they had prepared sushi for us with great care and effort, only to find out that we were planning to leave a negative review behind their back. We were so confused at the moment as we never left any review about this restaurant before. After checking the reviews online, I reaslize that this restaurant just denies the entry of Asians for ridiculous excuses. Please do not go to this restaurant if you don't wanna ruin your day!!!

the food here was good, and the atmosphere was alright. there was no wait at all for the food and being seated but i attribute that to it being basically dead, which was expected at 5pm on a Wednesday. my main gripe with this place are its greedy policies.

there are 2 menus that are given to you, a normal dish menu as well as an all you can eat menu. the all you can eat menu has various restrictions such as:

1) not being allowed to share your food that YOU paid for at all (the penalty for sharing is incurring another 28 dollar charge for the person that you shared with)

2) not being allowed to take your food that YOU paid for back home, instead they will charge you 1 dollar for each piece that is left over, that of which they will most likely throw away after you leave

there was also the fact that i ate 2 pieces of sushi off my friends plate and i was charged 28 dollars for that. not only that but there was a gratuity included on the bill. this would have been fine if i was informed of it, but i was not.

i highly recommend anyone who values their money, and what happens to food after you leave to NOT come here, and find somewhere else to satisfy your sushi cravings.

Every roll we had was amazing; especially the spicy crunchy salmon roll and the Westchester roll with eel and shrimp tempura. Their virgin piña colada and strawberry daiquiri was also very delicious. Kudos to the kind staff.

When my husband mentioned all you can eat sushi my kids eyes lit up, but my expectations were not incredibly high. I was delightfully surprised at the options we had and the quality of the food. Not only were were able to get sushi, we were able to order salads, uncluding seaweed salad and various types of soups, dumplings, edemame and other yummy food. We all had our fill and all was delicious. The veggie dumplings were probably the best veggie dumplings I've had and all the food was tasty. The wait staff was also very attentive and pleasant. I will note that we went around 2-3:30ish. So we were there at an off time. So it was not busy at all. We'll definitely be back.

They really charged me full price for a one year old to nibble on a gyoza 😂

The sushi is slightly better than the ones from a buffet (definitely not the freshest seafood) and the appetizers and sauces are very bland.

The server would hover around you and watch you eat to make sure you eat everything. I tried to pay so I could leave but the server kept saying I need to eat everything before she runs my card even though I only had two pieces left.

Service was bad, food was sub par at best. The owner is definitely cheaper than mr. Crabs. If you want good food, I suggest driving down the street to hei place.

Chef kicked us out of the restaurant after we placed our order saying he cannot make us sushi because we complained last time we came... I think he mistook us for other people because we've only been here once two years ago and had no complaints. I think he hates asian people (even though he's asian himself) because another review said he was prejudiced when they were asian themselves. Beware of the fat guy with glasses lol

NEVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE HAVE I EXPERIENCED SUCH HORRENDOUS SERVICE!!! Came for my friend's graduation dinner here which was already reserved the day before for a party of 25. We arrived around 7pm and didn't get our appetizer til an hour later. Mind you they closed at 9pm and we STILL haven't got our food and it was 8:50pm. Waited 2 hours for an all you can eat sushi and we didn't even get sushi!!! If anything they left the sushi that they were making for us on another table like they were waiting to serve everything at once but not even half the sushi we ordered was made!!!! And the Owner was so rude and not accommodating at all to us or to the situation he put us through!!! Basically told us if we wanted to take the sushi that was already made home he would have charge us extra because we were taking it home and not eating it there but there wasn't even time anymore for us to eat it there!!!! Make it make sense!!!! How are you as a restaurant owner have the audacity to treat your customers like that when you should have been prepared to serve a party of 25 people. If you can't handle a party like that don't say you can do it and not even be able to serve your customers in a timely manner. Not once did he or the servers apologize for the inconvenience. So upset that we didn't even get to eat anything. Honestly, that owner was prejudiced!!! especially to us because we were asian and I bet if we were white people he probably would have been nicer and treat us with respect. And the owner is Asian!!!! False advertisement! All you can eat sushi but they would take two hours to make your first round of sushi and if you don't have the time to wait for the order they'll charge you full price. You'll pay full price but receive smaller portions from all you can eat menu.

I've given them a few chances now with groups of as small as 3 and group as big as 8, except to wait at least an hour and half for just your first round. They advertise all you can eat you order then they wait you out so you can't order anymore.

My latest visit was the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant. Rude chief/owner and unwill to answer questions. Chief made disrespectful and smirky responds towards us. As we paid the bill and proceeded to walk out chief continued to make jokes about us. Not giving them anymore chances will never be going back.

So... this is my first ever review. MY FIRST REVIEW!! And never thought I would In MY LIFE. IN MY LIFE!! I had eaten at a lot of great places and not so good places in my life. This place is so unprofessional and if you think you can spend a family night there think twice. They will not be making your food on time and the owner is not understandable at all. It's not all about the food, but the worst customer service from a owner ever!! He gotten so mad at us because we asked him a simple question. We waited over 2 hours for our sushi and yet nothing. After 2 long hours we decided to leave and he charge full price for the apps. As we left I saw not much was made and there was only 5 rolls was made for our 20 people party ?? We got there at 7pm and 930pm still nothing. They close at 930. will never go back and he just lost so many customers from this. We were regulars at one point but not anymore. Honesty I don't even want to eat sushi anymore because of this place. It's an understatement how bad the owner is. After we left he started laughing with other customers making it seems like it's our fault ? If you can't make sushi for a big party please don't even try to take us in. Again please don't make a party event here!! Honestly don't even eat there unless you want a mean cheap owner that cares only for money not a good experience. TRASH!!!!

my family of 25 called 24 hrs ahead of time to reserve a table. we arrived at 7ish and waited 2 hrs for our food. the whole time only appetizers came. we all saved our stomach for sushi. they tried kick us out at 9 cause they close at 9:30. they told us we could take out all-you-can-eat sushi home (when you arent supposed to) but they’d have to charge us for it. they charged us for the appetizers we got from the all-you-can-eat menu even though the portion size from the regular menu and the all-you-can-eat menu is different. overall, -10/10 experience eating here because our whole family left this restaurant starving. mind you one of our family members was pregnant. poor baby didn’t get to eat either!

Chef was rude when I asked him what roll they had that was similar to one I get from a restaurant that’s further away. Was not asking him to make that exact roll just wanted to know what was similar at their restaurant. He told me to leave and go to the other place then laughed when I walked out. I just wanted to find a good place closer to home but clearly won’t be them.

I came here with a group of 13 people and we had a reservation. We put in our order and then proceeded to wait over an hour and a half before we saw anything from the sushi bar. We watched as other parties around that had been seated before and after us received their orders before us. As someone from my group was about to get up and check on our order, our plates started coming out and he sat down. At that point, the chef came to our table and started yelling and cursing at us for ordering "2000 f-ing pieces of sushi" (an obvious hyperbole). This was certainly a surprise to us, as we hadn't complained at all, but it definitely killed the vibe of our night. For the rest of the meal, we felt like we needed to eat as quickly as we could so we could just get out. We felt unwelcomed, and we couldn't possibly order another round after that interaction.

The chef is ridiculously rude. 2 of us went there multiple times and for the most recent 2 visits, they told us to come back in 2 hours because they are busy while only two tables were being served. They don’t seem to welcome us and the service is bad as well. Should not run the business if you can’t serve more than two tables. NOT RECOMMENDED!

The food is always good with quick service for the AYCE (all you can eat). I highly recommend their special rolls. Food was excellent last time I went on Sunday. Price for AYCE has risen to $28 weekdays, $29 weekends/friday.

This place has ruined going out to sushi for me. Between the great price and the quality, you can’t get a better deal or meal. It’s not worth going anywhere else. My boyfriend and I will drive an hour one way to get all you can eat sushi here.
They offer the option of nigiri or sashimi, hand roll or regular roll, a selection of appetizers, and special rolls.
The wait in between rounds is long but worth it, and the staff is very nice!

The owner/chef banned me from eating there because I complained about him lecturing me instead of just charging me money. Highly unprofessional. Be prepared that you might get scolded. Also they are extremely slow bringing out each round of food so they can prevent you from eating more. Such an arrogant owner.

The food is good but this time they made the shrimp tempura full of breading and the oil tasted weird. So I threw out the breading and ate the bland shrimp. Initially I thought the chef/server was trying to see how to make things better. But instead he had the audacity to scold me because he was saying I was wasting the people’s hard work. Now I also work in customer service and never in my dreams would I scold a customer let alone publicly. So heads up, they will take it personally if there’s any bit of waste and don’t care about the actual quality of food they’re serving.

I am a picky person when it comes to food but this is the best all you can eat sushi place. Foos is fast, service is friendly and definitely tasty. This is just a picture of the end of my all you can eat because I ate the food to fast to think about taking a photo lol!

This has become my weekly sushi fix place!
It’s about a 50 minute drive from my house but it’s worth it!
Yesterday was my first time experiencing the owner and I have to say all those awful reviews about him some rude and screaming person are wrong! He served me three out of my four orders and he was very nice and pleasant!
The woman that is the waitress is beyond amazing and has a killer smile and amazing personality!
Now on to the food…
To get the best bang for your buck don’t order negiri! Way too much rice and little fish! Get it sashimi style and get the hand rolls!
Definitely recommend this place 100%!

Good food and you can't beat all you can eat for $28. You can get appetizers included in that too but it might fill you up more than the sushi. The restaurant doesn't serve alcohol but I think it's BYOB. We will be going back

Terrible dining experience. This restaurant is very strange, the food is served not by the waiter but by the chef, the old male chef is very rude, he will throw the plate on your table, if you order more he will shout at you. Obviously they don't want any real sushi customers, they just want people to order fried food, so they can earn more. But the worst thing is their food hygiene! I found a black hair on a piece of sashimi ! And when I got home that night I vomited and the next morning I had diarrhea three times. If you want to eat unhygienic food that can cause serious health problems and experience very rude service, you should definitely try this restaurant!

Awesome all you can eat sushi experience!! The food was delicious - special shout-out to the Fantastic Roll and the crab rangoon! The waitresses were very nice and attentive, and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. Top notch sushi and presentation - I’ll definitely be back!

The food was great, when I visited Boston I went there with my friends and the food like I mentioned was great. However the service and the way they treat you is out right ridiculous. They are rude and outright disrespectful, if you order to much you get your food plate tossed on the table and smirky comments. They legit banned my 2 best friends who go there all the time and are great tippers, the reason why when they asked.....the owner just smiled and said " you know why".... apparently they eat to much?

If I could put zero stars I would.

I had the worst dining experience in my life. I came in with my family for dinner and we were shamed by the owner. We have been to several sushi buffets in the past, as we are a sushi-loving family, and have never been publicly humiliated for the amount of sushi we get. The owner came over and told us "no more sushi!!" and told us not to come back. He was yelling and waving his arms around and making a scene when he could have politely talked to us after our meal. The restaurant was silent, everyone was watching, and the kids were crying.

Do not put loved ones through this experience, there are plenty better sushi locations in Rhode Island by FAR.

Absolutely a HORRIBLE experience here. I came in with a couple of friends after softball practice, admittingly we were terribly hungry. But this establishment prides themselves on being an ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet.

They publicly shame individuals for amounts they eat, when we tip a strong $30 every time we arrive (for 3 of us). We ordered 6 items off the sheet, and the waitress went in the back and the owner came out and scolded us saying “Too much Sushi” .

I’ve been to PLENTY of sushi buffets in my day, and never have been shamed for eating. They told us to never come back with at least 15 people in the establishment.

AWFULL EXPERIENCE!! Supposed to be an all you can eat but the rude chef will come out constantly with attitude and almost disrespectfully slide the plates onto your table like he's throwing them at you. And then will come out and yell at you if you order another plate IN AN ALL YOU CAN EAT. He will purposely delay your orders to wait you out and then get mad and yell when you keep ordering and will shame you infront of the other customer. The female server is probably the only person that treats you with decency in that place. AVOID THIS PLACE the food is ok but the experience will make you sick to your stomach. If i could give 0 start to a place I would. Disgusting chef with awful attitude and 0 respect for customers. Never going back and sharing my awful experience with everyone I know.

Me and my family have been regulars for a few months. Last time we were here, I didn’t have enough tip that I wanted to leave so I told the waitress I was going to the car to get more money FOR HER TIP and she even followed me to the door for the rest of her tip. Went today and the sushi chef came out and told us in front of all the customers “you guys didn’t leave a tip last time. We will not serve you”. Extremely disappointed with this establishment as it’s one of my go-to spots.

Great place and great sushi. I am definitely a regular now, if you do the sit-down all you can eat. I recommend the Kani Salad, Crab Rangoons and The Snow White Roll,. I will admit the only thing people may not like is the parking, can be a bit of cluster and it seems like there is only one waitress... they are still new, but, i do feel bad sometimes going in, but that one woman we get every time is a rockstar and the sushi chefs help, I just feel bad that last time we went she had 8 or 9 tables and it least 30 people.

Terrible experience all around. Paid $27 for an all you can eat sushi dinner and only had one roll! Spent an hour and a half in there and I asked for a drink refill and did not get one, I ordered a second roll and asked for no chopped tuna and waited a very long time to get..... chopped tuna! At the end of the meal I asked for change and they only gave my a large bill to tip.... I was still going to tip but not happy to over tip. Left a buffet hungry! Wasn't about to wait another 45 minutes for maybe the right order. Disappointed and it wasn't even busy.

Amazing sushi and a great experience 😊 Went two days in a row because the all you can eat sushi was just perfect. I will say they don't have alcohol but I personally don't mind. They have virgin strawberry daiquiri or pina colada which were really yummy.

The folks working here are so hardworking, and extremely bubbly and friendly. Made to order, all-you-can eat sushi. What more can you ask for? Quality? Amazing. Only thing I can think of that would be nice is a liquor license, but even their virgin non-alcoholic drinks are pretty good!

As someone who has tried sushi at many many places in New England, this is By far THE WORST...
All of the 'sushi', including Nigiri, was all fish paste.

Came tonight for my Birthday, we didn't quite know how to ordrr, or what to expect, but we ended up WAY over-ordering appetizers and ended up wanting to just change our meal to take out (my daughter was getting a bit antsy). Even with switching our order to takeout, which they were so accommodating of, the pricing was great.

The food was delicious, appetizers were super hot fresh from the fryer. The staff is attentive and the wait time was pretty standard for a sushi chef preparing many rolls at once.

My only suggestion is having the server or host explain the amounts of food you get for each order.

These guys just opened. They need some attention to detail. Ordered online for later pickup. Tempura must have been made way ahead. Inedible. Way more bread than shrimp. Eel roll very fishy. Tuna roll rice all dried out. What sushi restaurant has tilapia on their menu?? I refuse to eat that farmed fish. Get rid of the fancy rolls with cream cheese and fake crabmeat. Just pure fish. We don’t need duck sauce and fortune cookies with sushi! How about chopsticks! Maybe I’ll try again in 6 months.

The food is good and I was very pleased as they had many Covid procedures in place. They just need a better system for takeout. The time to pick up is based on price of order and not actual wait time. So I showed up at time Receipt said to return (50 minutes later) and had to wait an additional 30 minutes. Kept being told 5 more minutes. If I was told 30 min I would have left and gone back.

One of the worst experiences at a restaurant ever. I am a big fan of all you can eat sushi (would go like every week or two preCovid to a different restaurant that unfortunately hasn’t reopened) but this restaurant does not what they are doing. Extremely understaffed, maybe due to Covid which made wait times extremely long. Waited 30 min to sit down at a table not because there were none available but because they couldn’t bus tables after people left. Did not bus table at all during meal, with many different plates it was quite annoying having no table space. Wouldn’t do anything for you unless you asked, even had to ask multiple times on separate occasions. Sushi quality was decent but took so long (about 1.5 hour after ordering) that it was only worth placing one round of orders. Wouldn’t recommend and that’s from someone who has gone almost a year without all you can eat sushi.

I just had the worst experience. Its supposed to be all you can eat sushi 2 hours went by i was only brought 2 sushi rolls when i asked where my second round was and if i could just take it to go they wanted to charge me an extra 1 dollar an item to go and it would be an extra 10 minutes if i wanted it to go. All you can eat sushi for 2 hours and only ate 2 rolls. Service is terrible this business will never last I wish nothing bad upon small businesses but you cannot operate like that
