Employees were all exemplary! Everyone was polite and attentive. Didn't matter if they were your servers or not they truly cared. Cocktails were different and tasty. Food was delicious and well plated. Will definitely be returning for more of the atmosphere and food.

This was my first time at Ocean Prime, and it was one of the best dining experiences. It was my birthday dinner so I was looking forward to great drinks and food. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was perfect for a celebratory meal. Our appetizers of sushi roll and calamari were delicious. The lobster linguini and blackened snapper were a 10/10. Truffle mac and cheese was creamy perfection. The butter cake was the best finale to dinner.

My girlfriend and I parked here because valet is very reasonable as opposed to the nearby parking garage right across the street. Keep in mind if you do use the valet to go somewhere close by I believe you have to be back by a certain time so I would ask the valet person. They take cash & card.

Atmosphere: low lighting and a little noisy

Service: we came here two days in a row, and the following staff was amazing Jeremy, Angus. Q and the star bartender Alexis. If you wanna have some good drinks, Alexis is at The Bar on Tuesday Friday and Saturdays. She's very engaging very knowledgeable, clean and accommodating!

I believe during happy hour drinks are five dollars off of the menu drinks and 50% off the food. The calamari is great. The Wagyu burger was OK and the fries were great. They also have on the happy hour menu lamb sliders, and a few other things that are tasty.

For dinner or lunch. I would suggest that you make reservations. They also have a Mother's Day brunch that you can book early in the year because it fills up. I hope you enjoy Ocean prime as much as I do if you get to go there.

Every time I come to Ocean prime I always get the berries and bubbles because I really enjoy it and they put ice that fizz is up and creates little smoke so it's really great and cool. Not to mention very delicious. This time around I had the lemon pate I believe or something like that. It's a version of a lemon drop; a pineapple pate I think it was called . They have it spicy. It's a little spice to it, but Alexis was so nice to not include the spice for me, but when I did taste it with the spice, it was actually good. Alexis also made me a custom drink and she did a great job ! She checked to see if liked it and even tasted it herself and felt she could do better. she kept at it until she perfected it and that was great customer service . I love great service and Alexis definitely provided that!

Overall I enjoy coming to Ocean prime. I have dined here as well and both are great.

P.S. I love the popcorn that is served at the bar! It's the truffle oil!

Took my best friend here for her birthday. She had an amazing time! I can’t remember the young man’s name at the valet but he was comical. Manny, at the door, was very polite. Our reservation wasn’t quite ready yet when we arrived so we sat at the bar to have drinks while we waited. Mel was such an amazing bartender we actually learned a great deal from her. The old fashioned that she made for me was excellent! Bob was very attentive. He saw we were having a slight issue with a spilled drink and came over immediately to rectify the situation. He was also super knowledgeable about drinks in general. Made a great recommendation for champagne. The food was good. I did wish the sea bass had a little more back end on the broccolini but the taste was still good. The lobster mac & cheese was wonderful. Absolute yes on the butter cake for dessert. All in all we had a great time.

Consistently amazing! I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on this menu. Everything is top quality from the service, to the presentation to the portions and the quality of the food.

I remember the first time we went came to Ocean Prime a little under a year ago and have been wanting to get back ever since and try some other selections.

Started with the lobster bisque which had several decent size pieces of lobster. A very good bisque that tastes like fall with its subtle hints of various herbs and spices . We also split the Ocean Roll, which was devious and fresh. Even my son who doesn’t enjoy fish said it was good.

Mains were three steaks, which were tender and cooked to perfection, and the flavorful teriyaki salmon.

For dessert we shared the ten layer carrot cake and the chocolate peanut butter pie. I can’t say more then if you like chocolate and peanut butter this is a must! The carrot cake was also top notch and I typically don’t order cake.

Since it was restaurant week we’re were able to get an app, a main and dessert for $60 for tow of the selections, which was a tremendous deal.

I was disappointed to find that they are removing the “Take Two” from the cocktail menu. I “settled” for the pineapple picante which was a more then adequate replacement.

Can’t wait to go back!

We celebrated our anniversary here lastnight. It was a wonderful experience. From the friendly hostesses , welcoming bartender. Amazing drinks.
Our server Jim made our night so great. Service was top tier . Steaks were cooked to perfection. Managers stopped by to see if we needed anything else. Was a great touch !
Bathrooms are cleaned & I couldn’t help but notice staff cleaning and polishing wine glasses and making sure tables were perfect. Clean restaurant .

Celebrated an early father's day here and we weren't disappointed. Overall, the food was good and presented well. The halibut was amazing as well as the truffle mac and cheese. The drinks weren't worth the price. The service was immaculate. We'd definitely return.

Ocean prime did not disappoint!!!! From the moment I arrived to the moment I left , the service was amazing! I sat at the bar until my table was available. I was greeted by Brit. I ordered a lemon drop! 10/10. After having my drink, my table was ready. My server was Andre! Andre was absolutely amazing the entire night ! I started off with an espresso martini. 10/10 then I ordered oysters and the chilled crabmeat cocktail. It’s was so good and fresh! One of the best oysters I’ve ever tasted. Now onto the main course. I ordered a 16 oz ribeye! Hands down the best steak I’ve had thus far and I’m a steak gal for sure. I requested medium and it was perfect. It was top with Au poivre which is the best topping ever. My mouth is watering just thinking about it lol… I also added Oscar style on the side. That came with one of the best sauces I’ve tasted. I also ordered the blacken salmon with shrimp scampi . It was so good !!!!! I had the garlic mash potatoes and nothing disappointed me! Everything was absolutely scrumptious! Jim one of the managers checked on us and he was so nice. We talked for a little and he asked me , so what brings you in. I said “ I’m celebrating life” He was so sweet! He then offered dessert! I had the chocolate torte cake and a Taylor fladgate port. So delicious! The service and people at ocean prime are amazing! I’ll definitely will be back! Kudos to Brit, Andre and Jim! You guys made my experience phenomenal!

The only thing good from this place was the bread served when we first were seated! I took my wife here for her Birthday had reservation for 8:30 and was told they were full and to wait at the bar were there were no places to sit at the bar. After 30 mins we were seated. The garlic mashed potatoes were instant, the asparagus was frozen and just thrown in hot water with no seasoning at all. Steak was okay. For the price we were HIGHLY disappointed and now we both are having stomach issues! Do not go here it will ruin your expectations for a supposed 5 star restaurant

This was my first time at Ocean Prime, and it was one of the best dining experiences. It was my birthday dinner so I was looking forward to great drinks and food. We celebrated my birthday here and what a wonderful experience. We were a party of four, and everyone enjoyed their selections. Some of the things we ordered were the 10 oz filet, lobster tails, dynamite sushi roll, jumbo lump crab cake, French onion soup, Ocean Prime house salad, loaded baked potato, sautéed mushrooms, chophouse corn, crème brulée, and raspberry sorbet. Every one of these selections was excellent. Our server, Juan, was professional, friendly, and made our experience even better. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and their background music was great. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, which I highly recommend.

Uninviting, ill-managed, and overpriced at every stage of our experience. We had a reservation at 7:00pm and were seated more than 30 minutes late with no apology or concern. When we were brought to our table, the staff member openly expressed confusion as to why two people were assigned a table of four and left us at the table uncertain about whether we should stay seated there. (There was also a dizzying number of security guards wandering around which made the dining experience feel *less* secure.) Our server, as amiable as she was, was clearly stretched too thin, leading her to take our order with plates still in hand and to slide cutlery across the table at plate setting. My partner's medium-rare wagyu steak arrived well done. His lobster mac and cheese was also overcooked with too-chewy chunks floating atop the bland bechamel. My Chilean sea bass was broiled competently but without even rudimentary salt and pepper. The drinks were so saccharine they they had to be watered down to be palatable. We chose not to suffer through what dessert might offer. If this were a restaurant at a moderate price point, these mistakes might be viewed less harshly. At Ocean Prime's inflated price tag, however, they are inexcusable. The only superlative I can offer: this was the worst dining experience I have ever had in Philadelphia. Avoid at all costs.

Beyond Disappointing

We had a 7:15 PM reservation, but the table wasn’t ready, so we decided to get a drink at the bar. After waiting 20 minutes, I asked how much longer it would be, and they assured me it would be “soon.” Finally, at 8 PM—45 minutes past our reservation time—we were seated at one of the worst tables in the restaurant: right next to the bar entrance, the kitchen, and the service station.

The chaos was unbearable. We were surrounded by at least eight staff members moving in and out constantly. When we politely asked to move to one of the several open tables a few feet away from the commotion, we were flat-out denied. When I asked why, the staff couldn’t give me a reasonable explanation.

I then asked to speak with a manager, but it took forever for them to come over. At that point, we’d had enough and left. Thankfully, we went to Del Frisco’s instead, where we had an excellent meal without the hassle or disrespect.

This experience completely ruined our date night. The lack of care, organization, and customer service was inexcusable. We won’t be coming back.

The only restaurant in the last 33 years that actually recognized it was our anniversary. Each anniversary we go out to dinner and report under “special occasion” that it is our anniversary. Ocean Prime has been the only restaurant that acknowledged this from the moment we checked it until our dessert!

I was here recently with a party of 10 and there was already a deposit that had been given, but yet they had us standing in the lobby, because they said the full party wasn't there yet, so they only offered seating at the bar, and some in the party were elderly..I would just say, they need to do better with that, because there is no way, you should have a large party, and half are there, but yet the elderly are standing who are unable to sit at the bar..it's ok to seat the people, when they are already there, even if only half the party is present, especially because a deposit was already made, and of course the reservation.However, the food was good, and so was our server!

The service we ok, but the food was lousy. poor presentation and the king crab sushi, its insulting to advertise it that way as the king crabs was an accessory to the rice and whatever that was at the top of the sushi. Pricing was ridiculous as it was just regular steak, $500 for 3 people is par for the rip off that is philadelphia course.

Went here for a 5 year anniversary and they were absolutely lovely! Added a touch of rose petals to our table and even gave us a free desert! Food was also great and definitely reasonably priced for a high end restaurant.

Loved the people, from the servers to upper management stopping by to say hello, they were so sweet. I also Loved the steak! However the sides while great flavor, I found the broccoli really dry and the corn too sweet. It’s not a bad thing just things I noted. Additionally the lobster bisque could use a fresh herb, it’s a bit warm in taste which sounds weird but in my opinion needs something to balance it out. I do still highly recommend for a steak cooked to perfection!

We were just in Philadelphia for two days. We wanted lobster but didn’t bring “dinner attire” with us. I called and was told what wasn’t permitted (profanity on t-shirts, scanty clothes.) We were fine. The lobster was delicious! The service impeccable and it was a lovely atmosphere.

Ocean Prime consistently ranks among my top 3 dining destinations in NYC. The elegant ambiance and exceptional cuisine and service never fail to impress me. I've had the pleasure of dining there twice recently for special occasions, and both times, I was fortunate to have Shaikh as my server.

Shaikh's professionalism and attentiveness elevated my dining experiences to immensely. His friendly demeanor, contagious smile, and impeccable service made me feel truly valued. Not only did he remember the details of my reservations, but he also went above and beyond to accommodate all my additional requests. I can't thank him enough for his exceptional work and dedication. Shaikh truly deserves recognition for his outstanding contributions to Ocean Prime.

I ordered Lobster Bisque and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. The lobster chunks from the bisque were large and tender. Cooked to perfection. The crab cake was a nice thick size. It's definitely worth the price of $29. I do wish it was seasoned as well as the lobster bisque. I just added the crab cake to my soup, and it worked out great. I also had a fun festival cocktail for my birthday. I think it's called Berry Explostion. (See my video) And the vanilla cake with strawberry sauce was amazing.

I had a great time and will come again.

Hello,
I wanted to leave you with an assessment of our visit to the Philadelphia location on Wednesday September 25, 2024. We decided to choose this location after getting a good review from a family friend. We arrived on time and was seated promptly. The waiter gave us a good review of the menu and we placed our drink order. My husband and I ordered the Old Fashion and hot and dirty martini. The hot and dirty martini had to be sent back because it was just too salty to enjoy. The bartender couldn't modify the drink with less salt so I ordered a different drink. Once we place our food order we waited 40 minutes to be served although there were few people in the restaurant. The appetizer came out and my soup was good, but my husband salad appeared to be wilted. Next our dinner came out. My husband ordered the scallops and I the twin lobster tails. My husbands food was cold and my dinner plate did not have any butter or sauce. The waiter noticed and told me he would bring my some sauce. We finished our dinner and he never returned. Lastly, the waiter offered my husband a complimentary desert. When the desert came out I was expecting the plate to have a happy birthday message, but it did not. I was disappointed because it was a typical desert with a candle. The waiter bought out a card for him and stood it on the table without even an envelope. I would like to express my unhappy experience at Ocean Prime considering the big price tag for the meal $301 plus $60 tip ( table 26/1-4/4005). Even with these feelings I did not cause a fuss because I didn't want to ruin my husband birthday. Please except this as an assessment of our experience and we choose not to leave a bad online review. I thought maybe it was just a bad night,but recognize that bad customer service looks bad on your team. So, it would mean a lot if we were to receive an apology from the restaurant as this was a special event that we couldn't really enjoy.

It tasted like TV dinner and airplane food. Otherwise atmosphere and service is great. The cocktail I ordered didn’t taste great either. Lobster bisque is just ok. The steak was good but mash tasted like it was from a powder and desert was probably defrosted.

My daughter reserved a birthday dinner for June 22,2024 because I’d previously been to this restaurant 2 years ago. What a difference! I can’t begin to describe my disappointment. Our waiter acted like he couldn’t be bothered servicing our table which was only a party of 2 people. The best thing were the drinks! The food was mediocre at best, not well seasoned and overcooked (lamb chops). Nothing special for my birthday dessert. The check was handed to us like a receipt from the supermarket not even in a folder. Nope I won’t ever return but will give my money to Steak 48!!

I Came Here For A First Date. The Ambiance Was Nice But Nothing Special Just Like Their Service. The Food We Ordered Was Poorly Seasoned & My Lamb Chops Were Still Pink In The Middle. Went for my Birthday in June I didn't get the service I expected the waitress was very unenthusiastic for a Birthday, this was my second time there first time was awesome second not so much I was more excited than the staff I spoke to the manager and he promised to get back to me here we are in August nothing so you might not wanna go here for your birthday again atmosphere was Dark I was treated as if it was an ordinary Saturday let me tell you I go all out for my Birthday just expected that over the top experience I had Hi expectations.

We celebrated our anniversary here lastnight. It was a wonderful experience. From the friendly hostesses , welcoming bartender. Amazing drinks.
Our server Jim made our night so great. Service was top tier . Steaks were cooked to perfection. Managers stopped by to see if we needed anything else. Was a great touch !
Bathrooms are cleaned & I couldn’t help but notice staff cleaning and polishing wine glasses and making sure tables were perfect. Clean restaurant .

Great place and will be back with family. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. We had a chef special sushi roll made with shrimp tempura and crab, it was delicious. We had a free anniversary toast and they accommodated my husband who doesn't drink. We had lamb (me) and snapper (my husband) both were again top notch. For dessert we had a complimentary buttercake which was amazingly delicious, would order again in a heartbeat (shown below). Very nice ambience from lighting to decor. Sometimes you get what you pay for!!! Top 2 best anniversary spots so far!

I ordered the teriyaki salmon last night which I have ordered in the past, last night it was awful. It did NOT taste like teriyaki at all and my salmon was not cooked properly. It had "butter sauce" on the sticky rice and that was awful as well. That sauce had zero taste and my rice was drenched with it. It's a shame, for those prices you go out to have a good time, you don't want to ruin anyone else's time by complaining so I said nothing i just suffered miserably in silence. My corn was really good though.

I can’t get over how amazing the food and service was at Ocean Prime. Everything was perfect to a T even down to the pretzel bread we received.

For dinner, we had a scallops and lobster linguine, and it was beyond fresh and had so much taste.

My husband and I ate here last night the food was horrible and tasted like frozen products. The cream spinach was frozen and the garlic mashed potatoes were instant potatoes that was loose and my crab cake taste as if it was frozen and thawed out. Not to mention i have an upset stomach and been in the bathroom all night and morning. This place quality of food has declined.

Had an amazing experience with your staff today. I ducked in to avoid the freak storm that hit(sunday) on my way to work at Giovanis on Chestnut. The host staff was super gracious and accommodating and Jacob( angel) even let me borrow his umbrella so I could get to work. My husband and I are out of towners who chose Ocean Prime to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left, the Ocean Prime team made our visit special! The food- wow! With one seafood lover and one steak enthusiast, we struggle to find a place that perfects both, but Ocean Prime nailed it! I visited this particular location on Firday, June 21st. The girlfriend and I were in town for the weekend and wanted to enjoy a nice meal. Beautiful place, I’ve been to different locations and steak was prepared better elsewhere. The a/c was broken, so we had to take our entrees to go. It was too warm inside, and we could not be more uncomfortable. When we asked our waiter about the AC, he said it hadn't been working for over a month. You would think for a high-end pricey restaurant they would have the ac working. The server had great customer service and personality, but we believe he had too many tables to wait on. We asked our server to box up our meals because it was just too uncomfortable to stay. It took him longer to do this than if we had just stayed and ate the meal. The appetizers of crab cake and dynamite roll were amazing and only good part of the evening. The 16oz ribeye was nothing special at all. I am very disappointed with the evening. Spending over $250 for nothing. Will not be back to this location.

The experience wasn't what I expected. It was far more exhilarating. From front door greetings to the salutations on exit. The experience was first class all the way. I'll just get to it. I had the Calamaris, which portion seemed like a meal by itself
The crab cake is perfectly made with precise succulent flavor and filling ( all crab). The buttrred scallops are out of this world, and (chefs special) halibut over rosoto was 5 stars by itself. The carrot cake is a must-have ( try) since trying to convey in writing its superb taste and quality is futile. I'll certainly be revisiting soon.

Decided to avoid the crowds and have a pre mother's day date night with my partner. They're a big steak eater, I'm not. We started with the Caesar Salad and veggie sushi. Salad was amazing. I'm not a fan of veggie sushi (like what's the point?) but my partner enjoyed it. They ordered the filet mignon with all the upgrades, I went back and forth about a few salmon dishes and went with the King Ora. Very blah, I should have gotten something else. We did order some truffle fries and their new strawberry Infused gin cocktail. It was perfect. Our server was Kacey and she was a gem and breath of fresh air. Very prompt, attentive and just a joy overall. We will be back and request her again. Overall it was a great experience, will definitely try something different on the menu.

Went on Mother's Day and expected it to be chaotic. The service was still great. The food was perfect. The asparagus and mac n cheese pairs perfectly with the filet mignon. The 10 layer carrot cake was not overly sweet and delicious. The only complaint I have is that the drinking glasses smelled unpleasant. I had to request a new one, which also didn't smell right. I would definitely come back to give it another go.

Tonight was a vibe! The ambiance, drinks, and food were on point. Our waitress, Allegra, was a joy. She was extremely personable, knowledgeable of the menu, offered suggestions, and checked on us regularly. Allegra's positive energy was amazing and contributed to changing my mood. We even had an opportunity to speak with the manager, Brandon, who was also pleasant and ensured we were having a good time. We cannot wait to return. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Drove over an hour away to the city to come here and was going to use their valet parking which has a specific price for “Oversized Vehicles”. Got there and got laughed at because my completely factory regular pickup truck was “Too oversized” and acting like it was ridiculous for me to think I could park a pickup truck in oversized parking. This is a typical ford pickup truck, the most common vehicle in the country, not an 18 wheeler. Was told that “oversized” meant “SUVs that aren’t cars” they need to be way more specific about parking trucks. Drove around for an hour and went back home, wasting our night because of this. They need to be specific about what “over sized” means in their parking to not waste peoples time.

My boyfriend took me here on a surprise date night! The service was absolutely out of this world. They were very attentive to us and what we needed and not a single mistake was made. This place completly RUINED my anniversary, it was the most expensive dinner I ever paid for and it was HORRID, after the server dropped us off our drinks she said she would be right back. It took 30 munites for her to come back for our order. Dinner took an hour to come out after being ordered. It is extremely loud you can't even hear yourself talk. HORRIBLE ATMOSPHERE for someone on their anniversary. I had the $70 lobster tail it was flavorless and rubbery. The server said the mash potatoes were silky smooth they tasted watered down BUT they tasted very garlic which I did appreciate

Food tasted phenomenal but was up all night with an upset stomach. I question the cleanliness of the kitchen and freshness of the food. When the steak came out, it had to be returned because it tasted foul. I spent $500 to have a family with an upset stomach. Will not be back.

Everything was absolutely outstanding. Bryce was our server and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. I had the espresso martini and my boyfriend had the prime Manhattan and they were both delicious. The calamari and French onion soup were to die for, we kept talking about how amazing they were. The entrees were the icing on the cake, both the steak and lobster linguine melted in your mouth. To finish, the champagne and butter cake were exquisite. Overall, one of the best meals we have had.

We go to Ocean Prime every year for a special occasion. The food is always delicious. They have valet parking which is nice. This year, the service was slower than usual. However, it seemed like the waitress was running around. Therefore, it may just be understaff. We also told the hostess it was my birthday. I guess the message was not received to our server unfortunately:/ Two other tables looked like a birthday was being celebrated because we saw a little cake and candle being served. That was a little upsetting too. When going to a restaurant like ocean prime, you have higher expectations for service.

I dined at Ocean Prime on 2/24/24. It wasn't my first time dining there and it was actually one of my favorite restaurants in the city until my experience last night. There was a piece of glass the size of a 50 cent piece in my drink. I was actually horrified to learn that glass was in my drink. The piece of glass blended in with the ice that was in the drink until I actually felt it as I drank the drink. I felt the sharpness and hardness of the glass on the inner part of my lip and on my tongue, which made me pull it out of my mouth. I was in shock in that moment as I held the piece of glass in my hand, all of the possibilities that could have happened if I didn't quickly pull it out of my mouth flashed in my mind, and I thought if it was a smaller piece, I would have actually swallowed it and serious damage could have been done on my insides. The waiter was actually standing at our table clearing it for our next course when I pulled the glass out of my mouth. He too was horrified. He immediately took the drink away from me and he expressed that that has never happened before. He was apologetic and asked he if I wanted another drink at no cost to me. I declined the drink as I sat still in shock and disbelief. At this point my family and I were ready to leave. We waited for awhile for someone to return to our table. The General Manager (Ryan McLoughlin) came over introduced himself, asked me a few questions about the incident, and gave me the phoniest apology ever. I felt like I was in the middle of a motion picture with a horrible actor. I felt totally disregarded and I thought to myself "this dude doesn't give a "F" about what just happened to me!" He didn't offer to compensate me in any way, comp my meal, give me a gift card or something for a paid meal on my next visit! Nothing! All they did was offer us a free drink or another side dish, and the General Manager gave us his business card, stating if we need anything in the future when we dine there again, just ask for him. He didn't seem to consider this a serious matter at all. I just would not expect an establishment with the caliber of Ocean Prime to handle the incident as they did, nonchalantly, with lack of genuine concern, and no offer to make things right in anyway, other than offering us another drink. Do you think that I want another drink after that experience! After having this experience it makes me not want to dine out anymore. Maybe if I would have became irate or made a fuss the outcome would have been different. But I should not have to behave in that manner in order to be treated as if what happened to me (which was the fault of their staff) was a serious concern, and to be regarded as valuable customer. I was really traumatized by this incident.

Valet was polite & speedy. Service was good, no complaints. The lobster bisque was good, but not as rich in flavor as I've had other places. Teriyaki salmon was excellent, highly recommend. My only negative is the volume of voices. For such a wonderful dinner and place, people were way too loud. Almost felt like the end of a happy hour at a bar.

For our main courses, we had lobster linguine, sushi, and black truffle mac & cheese. The soup was the most flavorful French onion soup I’ve ever had! The mac was amazing as well. I can’t wait to go back; hopefully, it will be just as good!

The meat was not cooked as requested and it was cold, the lobster pasta was overcooked and did not in any way resemble haute cuisine. Scallops with risotto, the scallops were rubbery, the risotto was just rice porridge floating in a lot of oil 🥲raw onion on top of risotto🫢

Server was super friendly - I asked whether the snapper or scallops were better and he recommended the snapper, but ended up also giving me a scallop on the side so I could try and taste it. Both were delicious - the corn/cream sauce on the snapper was really delicious and it was very soft.
Also got the calamari and the Takes Two cocktail which were both delicious!

Didn't have a reservation because of a reservation snafu at another restaurant and ended up doing a walk in but host was very accommodating and we managed to still get a seat very quickly even though it was restaurant week during dinner time.

First of all… the service was outstanding!
My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary on Friday, January 12th. We are visiting for NYC. We wanted a special meal, and definitely got it. Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night. The food was superb. Next time we travel to Philly we will definitely be back. We are both bartenders, therefore can be judgmental about the service and choose not to leave a review unless it is exceptional, which this was.

Me and my wife been here multiple times. Never once had a bad experience and service was always top notch. Atmosphere is great. Parking is not a issue here either. Every dish we had was cooked to perfection and seasoned phenomenally and the plating was immaculate. But the one thing that made me write this review i was blown away was a certain sushi on the menu. The Spicy Tuna Roll with Avocado, Scallion, Jalapeño, Shiso. Wow just wow. The whole time during dinner i kept repeating i can’t believe how great that roll was! Even on the ride home i was still amazed. Highly recommend i will be back. Amazing wine selection aswell. They are very accommodating with anything you need 5/5 easily in my book!

Lovely place! Rivals the Steven Starr restaurants in the area. The staff was great, could have been a tiny bit more attentive but it didn't ruin the occasion by any means. The atmosphere was great, almost felt like a hidden gem, and the food & drinks were awesome.

What I would recommend, to the restaurant/owner, is to be more demanding on their stance around dress attire. There is a sign that states it and a couple walked in with track suits. Does that ruin it for me? Personally, maybe, but I can't rate it against my experience. I wouldn't want to push anyone away or make them feel lesser of themselves, but it's more formal dining for a reason - a dress code isn't unreasonable in my opinion.
