Upscale Japanese restaurant & sushi bar with modern decor plus hibachi entertainment & a full bar.
I got the habachi grill chicken and shrimp. While it wasn’t amazing, it wasn’t terrible. What didn’t make it great was because everything tasted the same. I know it’s all cooked one way but I would not be able to tell the shrimp from the chicken if I didn’t see a difference. Like I said it wasn’t bad but just not what I had anticipated. The atmosphere is nice, it looks classy for habachi which is always nice. I got the spicy tuna roll as well, I would give it a 7/10. It was ok but definitely not a single ounce of spice lol. Servers, waitress, and the cook were all super nice I got a watermelon mocktail I think it was and it was super delicious so I would say they are good for their drinks. I tried a different roll from a friend which was definitely better than mine. I would go back for maybe drinks and rolls for sure. For my meal I paid around 72$. I didn’t take pictures of my food but you can see some parts of my plate with the habachi.

We had the best girls’ night at KOMÉ! The food was absolutely stunning—each dish was so beautifully presented and tasted incredible. The flavors were fresh, and the variety was perfect for sharing. We especially loved the sushi rolls and appetizers; they were a hit at the table!
The drinks were refreshing and well-made, adding to the great vibes of the evening. The ambiance was classy and perfect for a relaxed night out, though it’s slightly dim, which gives it a cozy feel.
KOMÉ is definitely a spot I’d recommend for a girls’ night, date night, or any special outing. The combination of amazing food, drinks, and overall experience makes it a must-visit.

The best hibachi experience…thanks to Ray, our sensational chef who not only prepared a scrumptious meal but welcomed, hosted, and entertained us with a dazzling one-man show.
Bree was our delightful, gracious server who made us feel at home and answered our barrage of questions warmly, and our lovely hostesses were perfectly professionals with a dash of amiability and warmth that started and ended the evening pleasantly. They sat us expeditiously and even offered to help with our photos so that I could get in a shot or two.
KOMÉ is more than merely a place to eat. It’s an experience you’ll want to repeat often with new friends, family, and colleagues. You cannot go wrong with this place! This business is a blessing. Just tell them Bubby sent you.

The service and atmosphere are great here. The food was delicious! That yellowtail sushi🤩 so good. My only complaint is that you need to pay an extra $5 for fried rice. Is that not standard for hibachi? And no yum yum sauce?! Crazy. Overall, enjoyed my time here.

The food was unpalatable. Never in my life have I had as unseasoned, bland food as this place served. The place looked promising at first. After consulting the menu I had decided to order the teriyaki tofu bento box. Before ordering I verified that all of the components of the bento box would be vegetarian. However when the miso soup arrived the taste of fish was so pronounced I could not take another sip. It should be made aware that the soup is not vegetarian to costumers with dietary restrictions. The salad was the best part of the meal. The dressing was flavorful; this being the only flavor I would get the whole meal. The bento box consisted of four parts, the tofu, tempura, gyoza, and sushi. The tofu was just fried tofu. Not a single grain of salt or pepper even grazed the tofu. It would be an insult to even call it “food”. The menu Falsely made me believe the tofu would have a teriyaki flavor but it did not. This dish could be improved up with just a bit of seasoning. The case was the same for the tempura. It was just fried vegetable with no seasoning. Surprise, surprise, the gyoza was also bland. I was surprised when it came to the sushi because i’ve never ever tasted bland sushi until this place. So they set a new record for me! In the end I could not finish my plate. The portions were small for the price. All of this could be overlooked if the food was better seasoned and had even an ounce of flavor. The staff were friendly and their was no problem there. The overall problem is the food. Maybe its just this dish, or maybe its my fault for expecting to much from and unauthentic restaurant, but I think some serious improvements need to be made to even serve that dish to people.

This is the place to go for a nice night out or even a fun night at the Hibachi with the family. Kome has one of the best duck breast dishes in the valley. Great selection of drinks, rolls and entrees. Their seasonal pumpkin roll is one of the best rolls I have had to date and that is saying a lot since I am more of a meat person. The atmosphere is calming and welcoming which brings the entire experience together. At times the wait staff can be a little distant but nothing to truly complain about, just at times you will need to wait a little longer for that refill. Overall Kome is a great experience and we will be returning regularly.

Disgusting food today. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s been steadily declining but it’s still been decent at the lunch rate, but today was the last visit.
The fried rice was devoid of flavor, and they used the tiny pat of butter only. The vegetable portion was tiny and didn’t have the same mix as in the past (read: full of cheaper veggies). They must be using “wet” / bleached scallops now as they smell like bleach. The steak was rugged to chew. The noodle portion used to be too much to eat but now the entire meal is much smaller and just heavy and salty.
It seems they’ve finally cut so many corners that it’s now just … well, gross. This place used to be worth a trip and was even a value for lunch, now it’s just another tasteless regret.

I went here for dinner last Sunday night with a friend and we were disappointed to say the least. The service was very slow despite the dining room being relatively empty. We ordered Lychee martinis and they were so strong, we couldn't even taste the lychee. We asked for extra lychee juice to try to make them better and our waitress brought us lime juice. Then, she brought us the smallest glass of lychee juice (1 or 2oz at most). Even after adding it the drinks were still far too strong. I've had lychee martinis here before that were quite good, so maybe it was just an off night. I told our waitress the drinks were too strong and we won't drink them (we only had 1 sip each), she did not offer to get us something else nor take them off the bill. We ordered an appetizer which came out at the same time as our entrees. The food was not the usual quality. Overall just a bad experience.

The staff was very friendly and polite, especially after I had to rush myself out to get back to work.
I got the sushi lunch set and the fish was very delicious and worth the price in my opinion!
This is one of the more nicer-looking Japanese restaurants I've seen, especially for one attached to a mall. If you're looking for a Japanese date night, this would be a great choice!

The sushi here is just okay and the service is awful at best. We were rushed through our dinner by our waiter given a specific time that we needed to have our orders in by upon sitting down. We weren’t even there 5 minutes before the waiter told us she had a giant crowd coming in a half hour so we needed to get our orders in quickly. Keep in mind it was a Wednesday at 5:30 pm. She also pointed to my child indicating that he would delay us from ordering our food, “I see you have a little one” were her exact words. Just incredibly terrible customer service. I won’t be dining here again or giving this restaurant my service.

BEST sushi in the LV area, no question. Quality is paramount. Melt in your mouth raw fish rolls favorites being spicy salmon and shrimp tempura, but any special roll is great too). Vegan sushi such as sweet potato tempura (real Japanese potato), cucumber avocado, shiitake crunchy shallot, vegetable roll), agedashi tofu app, miso soup, veg gyozas are all amazing dishes, every time we go. I love the service as well - recommendations on point.

It's not a bad place, it just feels like a place you go after your high school prom I guess semi-formal but not really formal cuz they let people in and t-shirts and flip-flops, you know that kind of place call the food is really good but usually kind of expensive, it's always a pleasure to see what's on the dessert menu, I can't get enough of the Yuzu cheesecake, and the mochi balls are always interesting to see what flavors he's got in. Can't say much for the Hibachi as I've never tried it, and I'm a little scared to go to that side of the restaurant overall it's a great place to go just leave your kids at home

The food was AMAZING and I really thought I had a new spot, however the poor service and treatment by the front of the house manager Justin who by the way refused to tell me his name! We waited without food for over 30 mins when it was all ordered at the same time. There were other tables sat well after us that received their food. I was told they are a fine dining establishment and waiting 30 mins for food is typical! LIES, I’ve eaten at fine dining restaurants across the US and never have been treated as such or waited for my food that long. We had a movie to see and ended up walking out hungry and upset! Beyond disappointed and such a shame because again the food we did have was great!

I came here for my boyfriend’s birthday and the food was good but our experience could have been better. The server forgot my boyfriend’s drink 2x. The appetizer was not very good. When they brought our soups to the table they were cold. We all had to send our soups back. I told the host and the server that it was my boyfriend’s birthday and they didn’t do anything. I noticed at other tables they would sing & bring them dessert. I am not sure how twice that I mentioned it, it was still missed. Our server was not very friendly and defensive. I visited Kome Japanese Cuisine for a 6pm reservation with my wife. We were promptly seated in the dining room, away from the hibachi area. Our booth was comfortable and offered a nice view of the tasteful aesthetics and pleasant decor. The waiter who served us was polite and helpful, providing excellent suggestions and insights on the menu.
For appetizers, I ordered the "Wagyu Ishi Yaki," and my wife chose the edamame. My dish arrived with a hot rock and bone marrow to grease it before searing the Wagyu. As expected, it was wonderful. For the main course, we both opted for the "Salmon Tasting." This dish featured several selections of salmon, each paired with a unique sauce or dressing to highlight its distinct texture and flavor profile.
Our dining experience was further "sweetend" by the waiter's recommendation of Kikusui Perfect Snow Nigori sake. Served in its own ice box, this sake is a true delight. Kikusui Perfect Snow is often hailed as the king of Nigori sake, coming from Japan's top unfiltered sake brewer. The sake is white and cloudy, reminiscent of pure snow, with a crisp, dynamic flavor despite its sweet, full-bodied palate. The full-bodied sweetness and the subtle texture of the “moromi” granules, created by carefully fermenting only the finest quality rice, made a striking impression. With an alcohol content of 21%, Kikusui Perfect Snow leaves a lasting impact and is a must-try.
While the "Salmon Tasting" was delicious, it was more of an appetizer than a main course. I will definitely return and make sure to order more food next time.

Ok the Fresh Wasabi was the highlight of the meal. Completely worth the $15 charge.
Everything else while plated and presented beautifully, just doesn't warrant the price.
It wasn't that it was not good, it was good, but not good enough to command the NYC type pricing.

I used to love this place. I have been coming here for years for sushi. Even ate outside during COVID-19. However, I was there last night after not going for maybe a year; and just it didn't seem the same. It needs a makeover. Everything looked and bit beat and aged. Service was not as good as it usually is. The yellow tuna appetizer was very mediocre. Not worth the money. My usual cocktail which is typically wonderful was not that great. It just seems like everything changed and not for the better.

We’ve been to Kome several times. We’d go more often but it’s 1.5 hours away but worth the drive. The sushi is fresh with exciting combinations. The presentation is always perfect. Atmosphere in the dining room is relaxing. We highly recommend Kome. If Kome is out of your area, try their other restaurant, OOKA in Doylestown PA.

I would like to thank Justin for saving the evening. We had reservations for 830pm, after waiting over 40 minutes I finally spoke up and expressed our frustration, that we were considering leaving. The delay was in no way the staffs fault, and we were aware of that. A rather large party of inconsiderate guests had been there over three hours and showed no signs of leaving, causing a major back up with their hibachi reservations. Justin pleaded with me to stick it out so we obliged. We were all glad that we did. After a little longer we were seated at our own grille and had our own chef.....JERRY who we've had many times and is always a great time. Food 💯 🤌 so dang good, generous portions we always leave with extra. Service is excellent. Great Sake and Whiskey to go with.
Justin, I appreciate your generosity and customer service. You went out of your way to make sure we had a good time in lieu of the situation. We've always enjoyed our visits to the establishment and this is another reason on the long list of why's that we will continue to patronize Kome. Thank you, sir.

Waited 45 minutes after our reservation to be sat. Then they seated us at a two top with three people. Took another 10 minutes for anyone to stop by and 10 minutes after we still hadn’t received any drinks or at least a third water. This place has gone WAY downhill. We had the same experience last time we were there. Shame on me for giving them a second chance. Never again.

Waited 45 minutes to be seated, despite having reservations. Waited another 20 for drinks...gave up after that. Food is regularly great, but the management of the restaurant is a total disaster. Check in has taken a crazy amount of time every time I've been there and service is super inconsistent. Really sad because the food is good, but the overall experience is a disorganized mess.

The three of us went for my sisters 21st birthday. We decided to do the hibachi and sat with another group of 5 people. Our chef, Ken, completely messed up our food. Each course was cold by the time the next was finished. Ken put someone elses salmon onto my plate of food, and when i told him I didn't order that, he proceeded to pick it back off my plate and placed it on the lady to my left plate.. He went to give away the shrimp my mom ordered until she spoke up and said she didn't get hers. Luckily before he had started putting them on the other plates! I would not recommend the hibachi!! Id dine in the dining room! The manager offered a desert plate, which we split with the whole table. I think more could be done, especially since it was my sisters 21st.. Dont they give a birthday desert anyway? I've never dined in the dining room, so i can't speak on the service or food. All in all, we won't go back. I will add that my mom and sister have visited before and never had this much disappointment with the food or service. Hope this helps!

Alright is the best I can give my latest experience. The place was super loud so we had to yell if we wanted to talk to each other. Our cook for hibachi was nice but mediocre at entertaining us. I told them on the phone when I made reservations, it was my daughter's birthday. He did not sing happy birthday or any other song for that matter. And for 4 people it was $190 plus we left a $30 tip. For $220 we should have been impressed/blown away but on our way home my daughter thanked us and suggested we try a new place next year. We all quickly agreed that we won't be going back to Kome

I went to Kome a few weeks back for a birthday party gathering. We had a lot of issues with the food, pricing of the bill, along with our clothing being stained & the cook getting our orders wrong. The manger was very nice and sent us a gift card (after having to chase them down day after day) so we could return with no cost to us and have a better experience. We went back tonight, and let’s just say we will not be back EVER. The pricing of their food isn’t an issue if the food tastes good.
I found a long black hair (my hair is blonde) on my napkin as soon as we sat down. I asked for fried rice and they gave me wasabi fried rice…. 1 appetizer, 2 sodas, 2 sushi rolls, and a small entrée for our son & it was $96 and the food wasn’t even that good… and you expect better food from a place like this. I’m extremely thankful that the gift card covered it, but I know I left feeling sick from the cost and from the food. I’m sure this review won’t matter, but for anyone who is willing to read this I hope you all have a better experience then we did.

One thing about the Lehigh Valley is they will always remain small town minded. And Kome is not exempt from that easy of thinking . As soon as you walk in they will turn you around or discourage you from staying with long hours of wait time . Sushi is good but not all the time. Atmosphere could be cleaner. But I’m just a city girl in a small town minded county .

Kome is a cut above for Japanese cuisine with excellent and fresh ingredients and a solid range of very flavorful dishes. We were there for a team dinner and there were no disappointments and the sushi dishes were very impressive. They really take care to assure a great dining experience from the miso soup and surf and turf to the fatty tuna. The team loved the cocktails too!

Excellent quality sushi and certainly the best in this area. Great prices and good lunch specials. Servers and bartenders are all very kind and attentive.
It is a large restaurant with lots of interior seating. Several large hibachi tables. Very clean and modern.
Definitely recommend reservations for dinner, not necessary for lunch. Plenty of parking. The location is also wheelchair accessible.

Very busy when I went. Sushi and wine selections were good. Staff were helpful.

Went in with very high expectations. The waitress was new and was having trouble taking the order. After asking for our salad and soup after an hour of being seated the manager came in with his rude body language and told us to do whatever we want.
Would never visit it and after the way the manager behaved would advise all my friends and family ever visit this restaurant.
Really disappointed and upset .

Straight 5 across the board for this classy sushi restaurant. I haven't been here in a few years but the Sunday lunch service was fantastic! Plus they usually have fatty tuna on stock!

Didn’t even get to try the food! Had a 7:15 reservation today and didn’t get sat until 7:50 since they overbooked, and at 8:15 we decided to leave after an hour of waiting. The server dropped off water then went looking for a drink menu which we weren’t going to wait around for at that point. An aweful experience starts at the top, poor management, leads to employees being put in a poor situation unable to do anything for the customer. I’m sure the food is great, but for my dad’s 65th birthday it was an awful experience. We won’t be back anytime soon.

Writing this review when I was seated 40+ minutes ago. Just received our appetizers which were ordered about 10 minutes after drinks were ordered (probably 35 minutes ago). Drinks have yet to arrive which is the gnarliest wait time I’ve ever experienced from order to delivery.
No excuse can be made lmao. This place is way too expensive for that poor of service.
Edit: 50 mins elapsed time order to drink delivery. This place doesn’t deserve your money.

7:30 reservation tonight. We check in, and get no confirmation from the 3 ladies behind the host stand. I check back a few minutes later to make sure they got our name, and I was told “yes I have you checked in!” As she checked us in for real. 40 minute wait, not a word from anyone about an estimated seat time. One of the hostesses was shouting out to the lobby for tables well past their reserved time, asking if they would like to sit at the bar instead and if so, they could be sat right away. Seemed like an unprofessional way to go about seating people for a restaurant that’s supposed to be upscale. I felt like Jerry Seinfeld trying to rent a car… I thought a reservation reserved a table for my wife and I at that specified time? After 40 minutes and hearing there are still 2-3 tables ahead of us waiting to be sat, we decided to call it quits. I was very much looking forward to the sushi here as we don’t get here much, but now we won’t be back.

Unfortunately, this experience was memorable because of how poorly the night went. My fiance and I left work early, arranged child care, made reservations, and planned to spend a decent amount of money to celebrate Valentine's day.
Sadly, we were sat 10-15 minutes after the reservation time (we arrived 10 minutes early) and then proceeded to wait an additional 10-15 minutes for our waiter to take our drink order. Prior to the waiter arriving, I went to the host stand and asked when we should expect a waiter.
I only received a confused look, no sense of urgency, and a reply of "Yeah, you should be seen by a waiter." Thankfully the waiter was taking our order as I arrived back at the table. We ordered our appetizers and entrees, waited 20 minutes for the appetizers. The food was delicious and we were prepared to negate the unfortunate start of our night. However, we proceeded to watch everyone around us receive their food and have a manager follow up with them. We did not receive an update from the kitchen and/or staff the entire time we were there.
Ultimately, we ended up waiting 45 more minutes for our food, only to request that our entrees be canceled so we could leave and get fast food on the way home. Only then, did our food show up, AFTER we canceled the order and paid our bill.
The only positive was the waiter. He clearly had been dealing with these issues all night and handled everything with grace. I couldn't catch his name, but he was the only one not at fault.
It's clear this restaurant was not prepared and/or simply forgot about our food until last minute. It's a shame, since we had planned this evening a couple weeks in advance and were looking forward to it. Instead of dining at Kome, I ended up eating McDonalds over my kitchen sink like a sewer rat. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone.

We love the style and vibe of KOME. It's a great place to stop by for their lunch special. The food is always fresh and the service is on top of everything.

Food was enjoyable and the hibachi chef was fun. Very loud at times.

Edit- fish quality has definitely declined. The last couple of times I had their sashimi, it was almost inedible. The American style rolls were still good but cover up their poor fish quality. Hibachi (teppanyaki) is still enjoyable. But Kome no longer itches my Japanese itch.
Best sushi in the Lehigh valley, by far. Quality is consistent. From appetizers to hibachi, always full of flavor and phenomenal. Lunch specials can be to go, and are a fantastic deal.

Appetizers were great but the surf and turf entree was incredibly disappointing. The lobster and shrimp was tough, rubbery, and cold. The “steak” was three small pieces cut from a strip steak.

Hibachi was very good. Price was typical for the area. Portions were massive! Inside is very nice, and service staff were friendly. Can't wait to go back to try the sushi.

I always love Kome! Just realize you should make a reservation and it may be a bit crowded/noisy but the food is always *always* great and the food is out of this world. It's not on the menu but I suggest asking for the Tuna tasting platter and always opt for the authentic Wasabi.

Ate here yesterday around 2pm. Had a stomach ache by 4PM and developed the worst case of food poisoning I’ve ever had during the night. I ordered and ate tamago sushi, California Roll sushi, and miso soup.

Awesome hibachi! Filet was great. Excellent service often checking in on drinks which can sometimes be a flaw when eating hibachi. Not here though! Noodles included too which is a big plus.

Such good sushi! We got the Promenade Roll, the Saucon Valley Roll and the Island Roll. Each were unique in their own way and offered an explosion of flavor. Our waiter was also very pleasant and happily answered any questions we had about the menu. Highly recommend!

First time visit in my birthday. Kome came with a high recommendation from friends but when we got there it felt very dated. Again, everything was good but nothing felt special. I think an update should be considered. The food was insane. Had the filet mignon and it was so smooth and tasty.

Seated close to 30 minutes late. One table was outlandishly loud for the majority of the dinner. Was absolutely impossible to hold a conversation. We asked our server and management numerous times to request that they tone down the volume and offensive language. No action was undertaken and we had to cut our dinner short. What they had no problem with was presenting a bill quickly and ensuring everything ordered but not eaten was charged. Just an overall expensive and bad experience.

We've been to some awesome sushi restaurants, and this ranks way up there on quality and service!! We were seated in the quiet restaurant side and enjoyed the intimacy of our experience as well!
