Food was decent, I would say this is better more bias towards the Thai side for dishes vs sushi. Our green curry order was forgotten until reminded. It did have a good amount of shrimp. The poke bowl was decent but should be better presented

This is one of our favorite restaurants at the coast. We travel from Long Beach, WA just to eat here at least twice a month. It's absolutely delicious and the proprietors are super friendly. If you haven't had it yet, you should give the Papaya salad a try. So good!

Overall, I would give Mighty Thai & Sushi a 4-star. I was in the area and wanted Asian food, and when I looked up places, this was the first one that popped up. I do not regret visiting. I ordered a Thai Iced Tea, Spicy Beef Basil, Salt & Pepper Calamari, & One of their sushi that started with the letter “T” I forgot the actual name. The food was excellent and came out reasonably quickly, given how swamp they were. The service was terrific! Everyone was super friendly and kind. It was not a 5-star because the flavors weren’t as intense as I would like. (This may be different for everyone.) I felt like the Thai tea wasn’t as sweet as I was used to. The calamari was a bit bland because it was supposed to be salt and pepper. I love how the spice levels were accurate. I got a 4 out of 5 for spice on my Thai basil, and I loved it! If you’re in the area, I would say check it out!

I had a quiet lunch today here. The crab Rangoon is prefect light and crispy not doughy. My chicken pad Thai was the perfect amount of spice. The service is great. Very attentive yet not in your face. I'll definitely be back to try their sushi next time

If I could rate this place higher I would! Not only was the food incredible but being able to look out on the river while eating was such a fun experience. My husband and I found this place while going up to Astoria and it is now a must on every trip to Seaside! Also probably the best Thai food I've ever had and I do not say that lightly.

Came upon this place on the side of the highway. Very pleasantly surprised on the quality of food they served. One of the better Thai food I've had and the sushi was very nice. Great service. I'm definitely coming back for their food whenever I'm in Astoria.

let me start with this. we go to seaside from portland only to eat here. yes, we did it 3 times. also if we go to seaside for beach visit, we go there. what amazing food.. R11 sushi, best tom kha i ever had, exceptional green curry and potstickers.. people are really nice here, very friendly.. amazing food and service. the restaurant is just by the river.. can sit outside and eat during summer time for great view and feel.. we will keep coming back forever. BTW we have een to thailand and had authentic thai food from there so we know our thai food

The drunken noodles with tofu and vegetables and the chicken pad thai were the best my wife and I have had. I live 2 hours away and I am going to be missing this every time I get thai food. I also loved watching the ducks and a cormorant dive in the water!!

Lovely hidden gem in North Seaside! Massaman curry, Larb, Pad Thai and Tom Kha were all on point - and the owner is cooking it for you himself. We'll definitely be back.

Mighty Thai is in my opinion the best Thai food in our area. It’s family owned and operated and the food tastes very homey. My favorite dishes there are Tom Kah Soup and Yellow Curry.

I’ve had a lot of Thai food in my life and I will have to say this is the worst place I’ve ever eaten. I did have my food delivered but it was all cold, mushy, and stuck together. I ended up just throwing it all away due to how bad it looked and taste.

If you are on 101 near Seaside, don't pass up the chance to dine at Mighty Thai and Sushi. I had the Panang curry and hot Thai tea. Their sevice was remarkable and amended my entree ( no bell pepper, not so hot) as requested. I'm looking forward to trying other menu items, and inviting friends and family for dinner.
The outside might not impress, but the inside is harmonious with a simple elegance. It was good to support this local family-owned restaurant which over looks the river.
Should you want to dine at home, Mighty Thai and Sushi is listed with Door Dash. I hope Seaside's many hotels
encourage their guests to
experience Mighty Thai's

Having moved from Portland where we frequented many Thai restaurants to Seaside where we have tried several, my wife and I are agreed that Mighty Thai & Sushi easily wins our top prize. Though the sign may be easily missed on busy Hwy 101 on the north edge of Seaside, DO NOT BE DECEIVED. Inside you will fine a remarkably friendly and cozy atmosphere with excellent service and an amazing range of food selections. A family-owned business, master cook Ponchai made sure our order was filled to perfection with the skill taught by his grandmother. My wife's Pad Thai Chicken was only slightly spiced (as requested) even as my Massaman Curry with Tofu was their hottest (on a scale of 5). We both were amazed at the quality & quantity of the food, as well as the calming views of the river scene just beyond the backside windows. Modestly priced, this place is great for a romantic meal out as well as for groups (complete with relatively private space that can easily accommodate 30 people). HERE IS A FIVE-STAR EXPERIENCE at only TWO STAR PRICES!

Unfortunately we stopped here after exploring Astoria and our visit was not pleasant. We ordered pad Thai with chicken and the rainbow sushi roll. The pad Thai was dry and flavorless. The sushi roll was basic and boring. The server brought over the sushi roll with a hair on the plate and then did not refill our water during this meal. I had to walk up to the kitchen twice to ask for water and the check. Would highly recommend going anywhere else for a quick bite to eat.

Ordered from this place twice for delivery, and the food each time has been delicious. The sushi is fresh and unagi nigiri is perfect, the calamari was surprisingly spicy and delicious, and the mango sticky rice dessert a delight.

The minute you come through the door the smell of fresh Thai food fills your nostrils. They had my favorite which was BBQ duck. I think that was some of the better Thai cuisine I've ever had. Everything is fresh and made with love. They go easy on the spice, so when they ask you mild, med or hot and you choose medium it will not be too hot for American palates.

Service was absolutely terrible on this visit. We were there for an hour and a half. One of us never received our ordered drink and the only refill came just before we left as the check was delivered. We will be looking for a new Thai restaurant.

It's been almost a year since my wife and I stopped here on our way up the coast from LA to SEA, and we ate a lot of great food on that trip. I still find myself dreaming of our meal here, hands down the best food and service we had on the whole trip!

2024 (4 stars): I visited again last weekend and was disappointed that the food seems to have declined since my previous visits. The sushi burrito was smaller (shrinkflation) and not nearly as tasty as it used to be. Also, my companion got a couple of other sushi rolls that both tasted the same due to the similarity of the sauces on top.

2023 (5 stars): Recently I watched an episode of Heartstopper where the gang met up at a sushi burrito place. I thought, is that a thing? Imagine my delight when I found 2 sushi burritos on the Mighty Thai menu! Of course I had to try one of them, and it was marvelous ... everything I hoped for and more. My dining companion ordered pumpkin curry with prawns (one of my favorite Thai dishes) and it was spectacular! I'm planning to eat here at least once more next time I'm in the area at the end of December. My one suggestion is to have the server bring ginger and wasabi on the side of the sushi burritos without having to be asked. The interior is a little run-down but has a nice water view, and it was a very welcoming place. Check it out!

Wow wow WOW! The food was SO delicious! We ordered Tom Kha soup, sushi, and dim sum and it was out of this world good! Totally recommend! And make sure you don’t go to the wrong restaurant!! It’s connected to another Thai restaurant. Wife and I were here for our 10th wedding anniversary and loved it!

Used to LOVE this place. Would recommend it to friends, family, and anyone heading to the beach. On December, we took my Dad here visiting from out of state. It was obvious from the moment our waiter took our order that something was very different. Menu was the same, just higher prices than our visit the prior month. Then the food came. It was not good. We asked if ownership had changed several times, but were never given a response. Our servers were awful, not refilling water once and never checking on us. We were so upset. After much searching, we figured it out. New owners as of December. Previous owners are now downtown at Thai Thai Fusion. Any previous customers will recognize the toys on the wall for good kids. Same prices and great food. Avoid this place. Go to Thai Thai Fusion.

The food looked beautiful, but didn't seem to have any flavor...really bland. It was Valentines Day and we were hoping to have a nice meal at a quaint little place. It was very chilly in the restaurant, they served my husband's meal ten minutes after mine, and there was only one other couple in the restaurant at lunch time so I'm not sure what the problem was about. I hate spending $50.00 on subpar. Bottom line ... won't be back.

Used to recommend everyone to come here. They've changed their menu recently, the portions have gotten smaller/prices higher and it feels like their food has been sourced from the frozen aisle of grocery outlet. I heard that maybe there was a change in ownership. Service was terrible. I won't be coming back soon but will eventually try again in due time to update review.

My boyfriend and I have worked in the service industry for 20 years and consider ourselves to be kind and easy-going customers. So, we’re not sure what we did to deserve such horrible service last night. Our server ignored us the entire time, even though she only had one other table. Our empty glasses sat on the edge of our table, but we never received a water refill. She walked past us a dozen times. And we could see her in the back, looking at her phone. I work at a local hotel and I often recommend this place to our guests, but I won’t be doing that anymore.

We didn't know about the change in ownership...this was our favorite Thai restaurant on the coast. We noticed right off something had changed. On the positive side, service was good, food was ok and the wine portion was generous. On the negative, it just wasn't as good as it was before, no happy hour, food was more expensive and of lower quality. Recommend you give it a try...new owners deserve a chance to improve. We'll be back but will wait a while to try it again.

We placed an order for pickup. Gentleman was very friendly whom took our order. My husband went to pick up food. They said it would be ready in 30min and it was. Now I know they have new owners reading previous reviews after I placed order. Thankfully the food was just as good. Great flavor. Yes some things are a little different , portion size is what I would say is normal now because previously the portion size was huge. Some food item name changes and sauces are a little different too that we noticed. We are very pleased with our meal. Thank you.

We came on New Years Eve, early in the evening when there was hardly anyone in the restaurant… yet somehow it took over an hour for our to-go order to be ready. When we first ordered, the person taking the order didn’t even know the names of the items and was pretty rude about insisting we just gave her the number of the dish. Fine, we did, and she said it’d be a 10-15 minute wait. An hour and 10 minutes later, still no food, and every time we went to ask about it they said “5 more minutes.” Hilariously, at one point they said the thing they were waiting on was just 1 sushi roll. In a mixed order of hot food and sushi it really did seem odd that the longest item was an uncooked item. Ultimately the food was just “fine” but we definitely won’t be back if the wait when the restaurant is empty is well over an hour.

I've tried eating here 3 times during their posted business hours and 3 times have shown up to a closed restaurant. Today was the final straw bc their front door said "Open at 4p" and here it is 4:34p...and they're closed.

This place is so so good and the service is great BUT this is the 3rd time we have tried to eat here on a Saturday when google listing says the are open and they aren’t open. We even came back when they had a hand written note on the door that said “open at 4”. We just got here @4:30 and still not open. It’s a Saturday…very disappointing. I have updated my review as there are new owners & as of December the food was horrific! The noodle dish was completely dried out & inedible, the chicken satays were dry, even the stupid little cucumber salad you get on the side was disgusting - don't even know how you can ruin that as its just cucumbers & vinegar but it was like an Italian kind of thickish sauce - just weird & gross! & to top it off it was more expensive! Do not waste your money! I wanted it to be good - surprised old owners let them keep their name.....

Another one bites the dust, this was once the best Thai food you could get in Oregon, but it seems that it now has new owners that dont understand how to run a restaurant in a small town
First they changed the menu, raised the prices, food quality and flavor has gone down and to top it off the person running it is very rude

An absolutely incredible meal and experience!!!! Tons of vegan and gluten free options. Even a vegan Thai iced tea was possible, with free refills! Best Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand. So glad I stopped by. Showed up an hour before closing. Sweetest service ladies. One with amazing eyeliner showed me a better table away from everyone else with a view of the river. The other service lady named Diane I believe was amazing. We talked about my trip driving down to Cali from WA and safe places to stay for the night. All around, absolutely made my night. The food was amazing as well and came out decently quickly considering what I ordered. Thank you again for everyone being so sweet!!! I will be coming back on my next visit!

Had an excellent experience last night with A Mighty Thai and Sushi. We had an impromptu larger party of 8 adults and my one year old son. We received service that was a reflection of true hospitality - honest and engaging from beginning to end. Our server was so kind and caring, the food was all fresh and flavorful, and the dining area was clean and comfortable. My one year old son was having big feelings with some new teeth coming through, there was crying despite our best efforts at keeping him comfortable and many trips out to the parking lot to share his big sad with the birds rather than the strangers in the packed dining room. Not once were we met with harsh glares from the staff. A man (real life Angel?) who was hard at work in back took notice, and began a little game of peek a boo so I could manage some bites as I rocked my shouty son. A while later he came from the back with some toy cars for my son to choose from, and this new toy car lit my sons world up! It was the perfect distraction from his teeth. Small gesture, massive impact that was so lovely. I can’t wait to come back here again and again as well as share with others how much we loved our first experience at this restaurant. Thank you A Mighty Thai and Sushi! Last little bit here, GET the mango sticky rice!

Not authentic Thai food at all. The sauce is just a red bottle of "Thai sauce" you can pick up at Costco. Definitely not what u would find in SE Asia. Service was beyond amazing and kid friendly. If u have kiddos one of the best places to go.

We found this place as it was close to our Airbnb. Our waitress was so friendly and she warned us many tables were just seated all at once so her service would be a little slow. We were pleasantly surprised when we didn't notice that at all. We ordered crab ragoons, pot stickers, temptation roll, and the seafood combo pad Thai with a heat scale of 3 out of 5. Everything was fantastic and even though we ordered with several others our food came out fast. The crab ragoons were my husband's most favorite he's ever had and he's hard to please at a restaurant. I would definitely recommend this quaint local establishment.

Ooof. This place had a really great concept, but cut some corners that cause imbalance between cost and value.
The server was kind, positive, and clearly overwhelmed as she was the only server on the floor. I gave her four stars, because the service wasn't prompt or attentive, but at absolutely no fault to her. She was trying her very best.
The sushi was subpar at very best. The sauces were great, but the rolls were loose. One of them was literally covered in rice crispies and called a crunchy roll. 😬
The orange chicken had great flavor but not crispy texture. I was hoping for better.
The crab rangoons were great!
The restaurant is not well decorated considering the prices reflect a much nicer place to sit. The outside seating has a great view of the river, but when sitting outside, the service lacks even more.
I will give them another try in hopes this was an off day.

I wanted take out, but the online ordering was off and nobody was available to answer the phone to take an order, so I had to walk in to place an order - (first world problems) thankfully it was worth the wait

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! Sushi is delicious and the pad see ew is wonderful. We had our two little boys with us and they behaved so well the server let them pick out a prize from the prize wall. Super cool!

I recently had the pleasure of ordering takeout from Mighty Thai Restaurant in Seaside, Oregon. Having dined at the restaurant multiple times before, my review is based on my most recent visit.

Mighty Thai Restaurant is located on a busy street, which can make parking a bit challenging. However, I found that there was always available parking, earning the location a solid 4 out of 5 rating for accessibility.

Upon arrival, my initial impressions of the restaurant were positive. While the ambiance and atmosphere inside were fine, it was the food that truly stole the show. The menu offered a good variety of Thai dishes, and the quality was consistently impressive.

I didn't have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, but I found that the restaurant staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were able to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had, adding to the overall positive dining experience.

One notable aspect of Mighty Thai Restaurant is the generous portion sizes. The dishes were substantial and could easily feed two people, providing excellent value for the price paid.

One of the best Thai food restaurants, I’ve tried!
I live in LA and tried lots of Thai places but Mighty Thai is better than all of them. Big portions and good prices.
We had the papaya salad, satay, pad thai, pineapple fried rice,and spicy crispy basil with chicken and shrimp.
Pleasantly surprised to find such a good restaurant in a resort town.

I love the poke bowl. Been traveling around the US for the past 3yrs. And always trying poke bowls. This place is an easy tie for 1st. Must have house poke sauce its fantastic. My wife loves the yellow curry and the sushi 🍣 is very good quality. Best eats in seaside, you can even get it delivered through DoorDash.

I highly recommend planning on coming here if you are visiting Seaside! The food is to die for. Our favorites are the cream cheese ragoons and sushi! The service is wonderful. We enjoyed the view of the water! We will definitely be back!

WOW! I didn't really know what to expect but gave it a go and what an awesome place. Great food. Best Thai food I've had ( not that I know much about Thai food). Flavor was nothing like I have had before, but in a awesome way! Thanks guys, love to have another place in town to enjoy.

We ordered three rolls. We received only two. After waiting an additional half hour after our last roll came out we had to cancel our order. We were clueless as to what was going on and so were the staff. There were only 3 other tables eating at the time so I'm pretty sure they just forgot about us. We paid for our meal but left dissapointed.

Some of the worst food I have had in a really long time. Everything tasted like sugar. The pad thick noodles were sweet and only had bean sprouts, the chicken puff dough was sweet, the salad rolls had cabbage slaw and were the worst I have ever had. I have made them myself, I don't know how it is possible to make them bad. The curry was ok but had really weird looking fish and come with barely any rice. I woke up this morning puffy and thirsty from the salty food. Just terrible.

First visit and we were pleasantly surprised. The Pad Thai was pretty good, on the sweeter side, but not overcooked and with plenty of sauce. Fyi, 3 stars spicy wasn’t even a medium on the heat scale. The Pad See Ew was great, delicious brown sauce with nice noodles and veggies with a little crunch still. My husband has been to Thailand, and he said it was similar to the noodle shops he visited while there. For the price (a few dollars less expensive per plate than any other Thai place in the area) it was a good and tasty meal.
The service was EXCELLENT! Great people working hard to make this restaurant family friendly and homey. We appreciated the complementary tea. We’re excited to return with the whole family next time, as our kids will have fun picking out a prize for good restaurant behavior :)

This Thai experience went above and beyond the limitations other restaurants provided. Walking in, they greet you and seat you as soon as possible. We had two young children with us, and they were offered a separate table to color in coloring books whilst the food was being made. The waiter that took our order was very kind and patient, answering questions and giving his recommendations. The menu was very elaborate with many options, and they were able to make a majority of their menu items vegetarian friendly. This made both the veggie and meat eaters of our family very happy. The food came out decently quick, and when it arrived we were pleasantly surprised with how good the food tasted. Even our pickiest of eaters ate all of their food, even eating more than usual. The portions of the food are quite large, we ended up taking most of the food to-go. Many staff members showed great pleasure in serving us and working in the kitchen. The best part, however, was at the end of our meal, when a staff member told the children that they give special gifts to those who behave well in the restaurant. The kids were able to choose from an assortment of Hot Wheels to take home. We left the restaurant happy, full, and satisfied. We recommend this restaurant to anyone who has kids, wants Thai food and experience, and amazing customer service all for a cheap price! Thank you so much!

Absolutely delicious sushi! Everything was super fresh and full of flavor, with the perfect portions of fish and veggies in every roll. Even the pickled veggie roll was delicious, savory and complex in flavor. I'm serious when I say that this is without a doubt one of the best sushi restaurants I've ever been to, and while I'd not been able to try any of their Thai food, my friend tried it and he said it was excellent! If you're in Gearhart, stop by!

This is one of our favorite places to eat when we come to Seaside! Food is delicious and the staff is so incredibly kind! We will keep coming back here every time we visit. Our favorites are the pad Thai and the volcano sushi burrito!!

They are not a traditional sushi restaurant: they have what's on the menu (which does not include sashimi). I would try the sukiyaki, as they have a noodle house attached
The grilled chicken and beef were good to very good. The bento was good overall
The service was friendly if a bit understaffed (I know, it is hard to find people)

AMAZING! The best Thai food ever. The waitress was nice and helpful. The food was just so good. I can't wait to go back and have it again. I went with 3 others and we had a pad thai, papaya salad, pot stickers, Phnang curry, spicy noodles lover, pork larb, pineapple fried rice and some sushi. I can't rave enough. Delicious!

Generous portions, nice service, but very inconsistent. We've been here three times and everytime they mess up our order. The last time I made sure to state twice that I wanted Salmon Nigiri, the man taking my order even repeated Salmon, but after arriving home I had 10 Tuna Nigiri & it even said Tuna on the receipt? Sushi & Thai are not cheap eats, and the owners should take note to train their employees to be more mindful when taking orders. I worked in the industry for many years & consistency is one of the big things that can hurt your business. We want to see this place thrive, but we won't be making this a regular spot until the inconsistency is corrected.

Me and my wife got the Fried rice, The Thai basil chicken( special on the back of menu) and the noodle soup( 3rd one down) to all share. ITS WAS ALL AMAZING AND ONLY COST 50 BUCKS. ( without tip) Service was super good and the food was so fresh and good. I hardly ever review food but these people definitely deserve it. We had so much left overs too. Try it, you cant go wrong here. I'm telling you , I'm a foodie and kinda picky, these people rocked it.

This was my very first time eating from Mighty Thai and let me tell you, it was THE BEST mea (meal, not just Thai dish) I had had in a very long time!
I am a creature of habit and typically order the same couple of dishes anywhere I go. However, on this particular evening, I branched out and ordered the Nam Kaw Tod. I ordered it with chicken; the flavor was outstanding, the texture was fabulous and I ate every single bite. Which is also unlike me to do, I usually save half for the next day.
I live up in the Portland Metro area, but was born and raised in Cannon Beach. My brother still lives down there and gets to order Mighty Thai far more often than I do, but I look forward to when I am back at the coast to get my Nam Kaw Tod again!!
I usually like to comment on customer service, but we ordered out and my brother picked it up.
If you like Thai, go here first! Best Thai in Seaside!!

I hate to give this a 3 star review because the server was so incredibly kind but the sushi was not good. We didn't try anything else, we only got a few sushi rolls so I can't speak for the rest of the menu. But I wouldn't come back for the sushi unfortunately.
