The shrimp sashimi was a showstopper-it was unbelievably fresh, with a sweetness and buttery texture that practically melted in my mouth. It was easily one of the best sashimi experiences l've ever had. The Sashimi Set was another highlight, offering a beautifully arranged selection of fresh fish that was both visually stunning and packed with flavor. Each piece was so tender and perfectly balanced.
Their rolls are equally impressive. The San Francisco Roll was light and refreshing, the Scott Roll had an incredible depth of flavor with its unique combination of ingredients, and the Niner Roll added a spicy kick that made it absolutelv irresistible.
Yuubi Sushi goes above and beyond with their attention to detail and the quality of their dishes. If you're in Beaverton and craving top-tier sushi, this place is a must-try. I can't wait to return for another incredible meal!

I am not gonna lie. This place is full of gems. I highly recommend the Sunshine roll (i think it’s the name), this isn’t the usual roll that you would eat at a usual sushi restaurant. The shrimp tempura in it with the combos avocado and salmon, give 🤌🏻🤌🏻 vibes. Even the roll in the first picture taste good. They use fresh salmon. I remember when I was ordering, they were out of salmon, and they brought out a high salmon. I can’t wait to go back.

I really enjoyed this Sushi restaurant, the food was delicious and it was absolutely packed. A little bigger space would be ideal, but they are crushing it. The hostess was extremely accommodating and had me sat in less than 5 minutes. They had some really interesting dishes but it was all high quality fish. Would return.

Yubbi Sushi offers some of the best sushi around—extremely fresh and absolutely delicious! The staff is incredibly friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. The only downside is the space; it’s quite small, so it can feel a bit cramped. Also, the prices are on the higher side, but with quality this good, it’s worth it for a special treat.

In my first language (Romanian), yuubi is pet name you call your lover that means something akin to ‘lovey’… well, I yuubi this place!!!
You can tell instantly that this is high tier sushi. It sets the bar in the Portland area. The ingredients are fresh, the menu unique and constantly changing (a blessing and a curse) and the staff is knowledgeable, kind, and pleasant to be around. It’s a bit expensive so sadly I can’t go as often as I’d like, but for anyone wanting the best sushi in town, you have your spot! It’s a bit small inside, but feels exclusive and cozy.

I came here a couple of months ago with my husband. I'm not usually one to write reviews but this place had some of the best costumer service we've ever experienced! The food was absolutely delicious, high quality and reasonably priced. The staff was extremely friendly; I had gotten up to go to the bathroom and before I had even finished asking where the bathroom was, the guys behind the counter were already pointing me in the right direction. We had a late reservation, so we were the last customers in the building. It was one of the waiter's birthday that day and another waiter brought a cake and offered my husband and I a slice (for free). I highly recommend this place to anyone with tastebuds and will totally be coming back! ❤️

My new favorite sushi spot! Excellent quality sashimi and rolls. I always judge a place by its yellowtail sashimi, and theirs was very fresh with great flavor. The Yuubi handroll was delicious as well. A hidden gem!
I recommend making reservations though, as the building is quite small.

Had an absolute WOW experience yesterday. I’m gluten free and they were extremely accommodating. The food is outstanding in flavor, freshness, quality and creativity. That combined with the service and this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. The small space makes it more intimate, which makes the whole experience better. Highly recommend reservations. It isn't an inexpensive place, so be prepared to pay for that quality. However it is 100% worth every cent. I’ll be going back, for sure!!

Took my son her for his 9th birthday because his favorite food is sushi! We eat a lot of sushi and at a lot of places but there’s something so special about Yuubi and how they pick, choose and make each slice of nigiri. My son took a bite for his first time of their grandma toro tonight I highly recommend everyone try this. His expression on his face was amazing and explained it all. Every bite afterwards he kept telling me this is the BEST SUSHI to which I agreed! It’s not an inexpensive sushi but I believe it’s one of the best quality places I’ve eaten at around not just the city but the PNW.

Highly recommend the omakase, let these amazing chefs do their thing!
Also don't miss the chicken karaage, hamachi, uni, and truffle salmon. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but those are my absolute can't miss items.
The dinning area is small so be prepared for a cozy environment, but the staff takes great care. Items were on our table within minutes of ordering. Everyone was very nice and great at their job.

They served Fresh Wasabi and the Edamame was free. Service was quick. We loved Daydream and Insanity roll as well!

We just got Yuubi for the first time and ended up doing pickup and - oh my gosh, do not sleep on this place! We savored every single bite and cannot wait to dine in. We had:
Spicy Tuna hand roll
Salmon Hand Roll
Truffle salmon nigiri
Yuki roll
Pink dragon roll
Every single thing from the quality of the fish and the ingredients to even the fragrance of the vinegar was unmatched. The Pink dragon roll is going to be something I order every single time!

This is an excellent small sushi restaurant.
The restaurant is tiny and the atmosphere is basic. Food is prepared quickly and in no time it has evaporated and you are ready to move on to coffee or dessert elsewhere. Not a linger over dinner style restaurant.
Next time I would order one or two things, then another one or two, so that everything doesn’t come out at once.
The fish is top quality. The three of us agreed that there is perhaps an over emphasis on novelty vs. simplicity. Let the fish shine.
The miso soup was also good and the avocado rolls were the best we have tasted. Simple but perfect.

Surprisingly my favorite is the fried Asian tiger shrimp head, which is a by-product of making tiger shrimp nigiri. The quality of all the sushi I ordered is pretty high, which matches the price tag. My bill comes at 80$, but I can foresee easily top 100+ per person since I'm not even hungry and not ordering much.

Yuubi Sushi is a must if you want quality Sushi. Gloria & Yuki were spot on with their service from setting up the table as we walked in. Their smiles, their interactions with customers, and the way they served us were perfect. My better half tried the Uni for the first time, and Gloria actually suggested a way to partake this delicious dish. Everything we ate was so so Onolicious(delicious). Cold water was cold with just right ice and Yuki kept it full. I mentioned to Gloria I could taste the difference in the ginger and she said nothing but the best. The little things that I see/taste and notice with our newfound Diamond Sushi restaurant separates it from the others.......well worth the money spent!!! Yuki, Gloria and the Sushi Chefs you folks will see us again in the near and far future. Much Mahalo! Aloha!!!

Soooo I never leave reviews, but I had to for this place. First off, let me just give a huge hug and shoutout to our waitress. She was the most playful and kind waitress I have ever experienced. Regardless of how the food turned out, I would still say go here just for her. We went on a Friday, if that helps.
My wife and I were on our honeymoon to the Pacific Northwest and were referred to this place. We almost chose to go to a different sushi spot and thank god we didn't. We made reservations and were 25 minutes late. Once we arrived, we were greeted by our waitress and right away, we felt we made the right choice coming here. She started joking with us and blaming me for why we were late and telling my wife that I will be paying for the meal and making sure my wife is taken care of. She just had a very playful personality but was still professional. It was just nice to see and experience a waitress that had human characteristics.
The entire time she joked with us and joked about my soy allergy and said I am not allowed to have any soy sauce even though all they had was soy sauce. I played along with the joke and we all in all had the best time. Not to mention the food was incredible.
We ordered via the website but we still paid normally (she brought us the check).
When we left, she gave each of us a huge hug goodbye. Cant stress enough how much you have to experience this place.

Super stoked to find this gem in Beaverton. High-quality sushi. Their Toro literally melts in your mouth. Service is great. It’s a cozy place considering it’s set in a residential street where their building is the only commercial storefront in the area. They offer extended seating on their front porch.

Kept forgetting to leave a review here. I’ve been to Yuubi 4 times now in the past year and the food was so good every single time. Literally the best sushi in Beaverton. Might even be the best in Portland. The fish, no matter the kind, just melted in my mouth. Definitely pricey, but totally worth it. The only downside is that it can get noisy once the place is filled. Will go back over and over again. Owners don’t talk much but very sincere.

You will need a reservation at this point. I've had the pleasure of watching Yuubi sushi go from being able to walk in and being the only person there, to every table packed and needing one to two weeks for a reservation. Never in that time have they lowered their quality or their service. You will have trouble finding better sushi anywhere in the Metro area. Yuubi Sushi in Beaverton lived up to the hype in my opinion. Despite initially missing out because they only took reservations the day I tried going, I made sure to book ahead for my next attempt, and wow, was it amazing! Their truffle salmon nigiri was a standout, with the fish practically melting in my mouth. And let's talk about that chicken karaage—it had this amazing hint of lemon zest that set it apart. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but every bite, from the sashimi set to the insanity roll, was a flavor explosion that solidified Yuubi Sushi as a top sushi spot in my book!

Yuubi is truly a hidden gem of Beaverton, where the fish is consistently fresh and of impeccable quality. The staff is super kind and service is top notch.
All the sashimi just melts effortlessly in your mouth, offering a tasty combination of flavors. The nigiri selection is unmatched, especially the Truffle Salmon which features truffle oil and black truffle on Dry Aged Ora King Salmon. Another standout is the Scallop Haven, with a mysterious secret topping that's irresistibly delicious. If you're an uni lover, you're in luck -- there are a handful of nigiri dishes that feature uni, usually in combination with another type of sashimi.
Some of my favorite rolls are Romeo & Juliet, My Sunshine, and Darkness. I feel like you really can't go wrong with any of the rolls though.
Due to the cozy space, reservations made days in advance are highly encouraged because they don't take same-day reservations. Group size is also limited to four people.
Yuubi is quickly becoming my go-to sushi destination in Beaverton. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out on a spectacular sushi journey!

Just return from dinner with my daughter (Feb 17, 24)... Absolutely a gem! 💯
Likely the best Japanese restaurant in Beaverton, if not the whole greater Portland area! Our former go-to place for Japanese makes the top 10 list in this greater Portland area. Compared to Yuubi, it doesn't come close! Yuubi has higher quality fish, better flavored rice (in nigiri and rolls), a unique combo of ingredients, and just overall much better total outcome. You can actually see the fresh fish "hanging out" in their aging storage unit. Rolls had flavor enhancing liquid embedded in them, making it easier to eat (not dry). Sashimi set was the same - cut green onions, other sides, and their unique flavor-adding liquid made the Sashimi unique overall in good ways. Service was excellent also - helpful, courteous, and attentive. The atmosphere was excellent too - small hole in the wall feel with clearly visible specialty in display. The location is unique - it looks like a converted house in a residential area, making it less noisy and distracting. While the place is a bit pricier than others, it's definitely worthwhile. This is now our go-to place for Japanese restaurants.

We spent 20 minutes to choose what we want for pick up and chose one of the chef sets from their menu on the website. When I called, the lady told me they had completely different menu on the chef set Chirashi (which looked great if it was the real one) and they were also out of shrimp. Literally, we wasted our time on this restaurant. I have no idea how they have this rating with such an incompetent and unprofessional service and attitude.
To the owner: make sure that your menu on your own website is the same menu in the restaurant. These are business basics.
P/S: I saw the response of the owner. FYK: We didn't check any third-party websites but your own website. Please, make sure it is up-to-date! The name of the set which was Chirashi and the lady told me on phone you have very different ingredients. But the whole point of the sushi sets is ingredients - some people like them or not. I'm ready to change the review once your website menu is aligned with your actual menu in the restaurant.

Yuubi was rated the #1 sushi restaurant on Yelp in 2023, and it didn't disappoint.
My friends and I decided to go last minute on a Wednesday and went online to reserve a table. To our dismay, all the table times were booked until the following Monday! Word of advice-plan ahead better than us and make reservations. However, we decided to press our luck and go at open to grab a walk-in table. Fortunately, we were first in line and were quickly seated when the doors unlocked. In fact, there was already hot tea and edamame waiting for us before we even sat down!
The service here was top-notch. The waite staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The space is small and intimate, so they were always there, making sure our glasses were full or clearing out plates as we ate. We later found out that it was the owner's wife that sat us down initially. Even though this was our first time there, it was like coming over to a friend's house or aunt's house with feeling so welcome there.
The food came out very quickly but was far from fast food. The meal itself was delicious. The portion sizes were good, and the dishes were very balanced. You can tell the owner takes pride in the quality of his ingredients from the aged fish to the high quality sushi rice he imports from Japan. You can literally taste the difference of his sushi compared to other places around town.
Overall, I would highly recommend checking out Yuubi if you are ever in the Beaverton area. It is worth the trip.

We stopped by on Wednesday evening thinking it wouldn't be too busy... we were wrong. We walked in, and they said they if we didn't have a reservation, it would be roughly 45 minutes. We walked out and said we'd be back when they called us. Just as we left, the waitress came out and said they had a spot for us at the bar!!
We tried a bit of everything. We tried different nigiri. It was so delicious that we HAD to order other rolls. We had the Dynamite X, Crazy Boss, and Dragon Roll.
Loved sitting at the bar and watching the chefs make everything right in front of us. It is truly a work of art.
Everything was so fresh and delicious. Really enjoyed our experience and can't wait to go back again and try different rolls!!

First experience here and it was a really nice surprise. Small, unassuming spot just a few blocks from the main areas of downtown Beaverton. Small parking area, but had no problem getting a spot even for dinner service.
Convenient service with QR menus at each spot on the table so you can order individually or as a group, as well as keep your tab open and pay directly via the link at the end.
Everyone working was really friendly and the food we ordered came with hardly any wait. The food was so delicious, I loved the mix of items you'd traditionally find on a sushi menu and items that were a fun twist with things like peaches, shaved ice, daikon, and crunchy garlic. Highly recommend if you want to try a sushi spot with fun menu and a more local, neighborhood feel.
I can't wait to go back to keep trying new things on their menu.

It has been our sushi place for almost a year. Do you want to have the best sushi every time you go... that is the place! We tried many places around the town, but the quality of the fish is just amazingly good here. Thank you guys!

Went here for the first time Sat. night, after a recommendation from someone in the industry. WOW, I have never had sushi this good. The Tuna Madness is a must, the dry aged tuna is so buttery melt in your mouth flavorful. We also had Salmon Belly, and some rolls which were very fresh original and full of flavor. None of that cream cheese fluff as a filling, just perfect fresh fish and veggies. One I had was dotted on top with truffle mustard. Service was attentive and friendly. We didn't have a reservation and they accomated us. Can't wait to visit again, highly recommend.

Interesting location. Hard to find with quiet atmosphere and detail. Not as fresh as Hillsboro Library but probably my #2 in Portland, Oregon area. They have forks 🤣

They have an ordering system that let's you keep track of how much you are spending which is nice when you are on a budget! Spent $275 with tip for two but indulged in omakase for two plus sake, salmon belly, salmon and $50 in two orders of uni nigri. Excellent date night place.

Incredible sushi restaurant in a quaint unassuming setting. The place itself is a little hidden gem off from the main streets of Beaverton. We just so happened to have reserved dinner on their last night of the year before they go on break. Definitely need a reservation! The restaurant itself is tiny inside, very tight with limited capacity. Husband & wife owned and operated. It was really cool to see the dry ager cabinet full of thick cuts of maguro, toro, A5 wagyu, and amberjack/yellowtail. Service was very prompt and nice, with complimentary barley tea. We ordered hon maguro nigiri, negi toro handroll, Yuubi (unagi & tempura) handroll, Yuki maki-roll, Red pocket (maguro inari), the tonkatsu-don, and finally the mini-donburi with uni, otoro and ikura! All the fish was so fresh and succulent. The sushi rice was perfectly seasoned, and the katsu was incredibly crispy on the outside yet juicy on the inside. Finally, the star of the meal was the opulent mini-donburi that has Japan imported uni (sea urchin), fatty otoro tuna, and house-marinated ikura (salmon caviar). Every bite was an explosion of umami and flavor in your mouth. Be sure to get the hand-grated real wasabi on the side. Don't come here hungry like we did, or else it'll get really expensive! It is on the pricier side, but it fully justifies the quality of fish and authenticity. For what we ordered for two, we left happily full at around $75/person before drinks. There is a small 5 or 6 seat chef's counter at the sushi bar. You're coming here for the nigiri and sushi, not for ramen or udon as they don't even have any standard entrée/kitchen fare besides the tonkatsu, karaage and gyoza. The restaurant has a very chill/casual vibe to it with simple décor and bright aesthetic which is quite the contrast to the level of sushi it serves. Highly recommended, definitely worth a visit for date night/special occasion or just for some high quality sushi!

The best Sushi in Portland hands down.

Absolutely lovely sushi spot. Wife and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary here. The staff and the food were absolutely wonderful! We will be returning quite soon.

Yuubi is a small sushi place, slightly off the more popular restaurant strip in downtown Beaverton.
While the location is unassuming, there is a good reason it is rated so highly, the sushi is incredible, and the roll designs are impressive, looks, taste, and quality wise.
You won't find a plethora of rolls using cream cheese or fake crab here, instead you will find thoughtful complex combinations that will quickly put this place on your "Let's go here again" list.
You won't be disappointed, give it a try!

Found this place on a trip from Seattle. It's a small shop with a tight crew. Service was excellent, we even got a free dish at the end of the night! We got the Yuki roll and the Sashimi Moriwase. Both of them were so good I didn't use the soy sauce once. One hidden MVP was the wasabi, not overwhelming and cleansed the palate very well. I would recommend this place for anyone in the area.
As for parking, we came here pretty late so parking was plentiful but those considering going earlier may run into issues.

Yuubi is a 10
Unbelievably good sushi in a quaint downtown home setting. Seriously the finest sushi I remember having, possibly ever. Nothing in Seattle, San Francisco, Hawaii - anywhereq.
Everything on the menu is fantastic and the prices are the lowest of any quality Sushi I remember buying.
We made reservations about a week in advance in preparation for a birthday dinner. For 5 adults, our bill was around $140. For contrast, our last sushi dinner for 2 in San Francisco was around $120
Highly recommend. Make reservations today.

It's one of the best sushi joints in Beaverton! It's a bit off the beaten path on angel. Outdoor seating in the summertime is lovely. The food is fabulous. There are lots of fish and seafood options here that you can't find anywhere else. Delicious.

Best sushi I’ve ever had hands down. I am literally planning my next trip to Oregon specifically to go to this restaurant. They salt fry their fish & it makes the texture unreal. 1000% would recommend - if I could somehow eat here everyday I would.

2nd time back and we will come back here as long as we can! Yuubi is the BEST sushi we have had in the greater Portland area. Every piece is quality and the service is seamless, efficient, and very warm. This is our go to "treat your self" restaurant for sushi that has love in every step and bite.

Food is spectacular and there is a large variety of things most sushi places in the US just don't have. A bit pricey but well worth it. The place is cozy and the service warm. For the afficionados get the ankimo and the uni.

We came here on a weeknight to celebrate a new job offer and were over the moon with everything! Stellar sushi, an easy ordering system, and superb service. The folks that run Yuubi clearly take pride in what they do and it SHOWS. Highly recommend Yuubi for an intimate date night, a casual small-group dinner with friends, or even just getting a delicious meal on your own. Wonderful quality and delicious sushi at a fair price - will definitely come back.

Some of our favorite sushi we've ever had. Quality fish treated very well in innovative applications. It's refreshing to enjoy sushi that is of such a high bar but is also fun to eat, not stuffy. Atmosphere is sweet and family friendly, staff is personable and attentive.

Two visits at this place and both times were wonderful both the food and service. Easy to order/pay interface on the phone. Haven't encountered any mines yet. This place is on my top three sushi establishments in the Portland Metro area. It's kind of like a hidden gem in the heart of Beaverton. Will definitely come back!

Came here with my Japanese (born and raised) wife. Ordered the 10 piece sashimi, an extra miso and a 300 ml bottle of sake. The salmon was excellent. Everything else was bland or didn't belong on a sashimi plate. The seared albacore is actually called tataki, and doesn't belong with sashimi. I liked it, but we ordered sashimi.
The miso soup was off; I thought it tasted smokey and my wife detected a plastic taste.
The bill after tip: $75. I don't feel like was anywhere near worth it.
Now I have to regain my wife's trust in my restaurant picks.

Good place nice environment but too expensive. Not worth it.

Went in early and got seated right away. The sushi came out very quickly, and was fresh and delicious. Most of the rolls we ordered had four slightly larger pieces that were two pieces each. My issue is that the experience for the first 10 minutes was sitting and all of us scrolling on our phones to try to see the menu. What was meant to be a dinner connecting with family ended up with being all of us looking at our phones. This felt out of sync with the high price point and was unpleasant and disconnected.

The sushi was great!!! The miso soup very flavorful! Unfortunately, it is quite noisy. We will be back, but maybe for takeout.

Countries best sushi. The food exceeds expectations, the people are incredible, fun, and amazing, and the ambiance is warm and welcoming with a display of quality. From the time you walk in, you know the food will be good. Don’t come because there aren’t many seats and I don’t want to start waiting in line.
