in the raw vu brings an elevated dining experience to Downtown Tulsa, with a contemporary Japanese flare and late-night lounge. Located on the 6th Floor of Vast Bank, you will not want to miss this view.
This was our first time at any in the raw location and we were very impressed. I got the yeti roll off of their secret menu and my husband got the oh my goodness roll and we got the tuna nachos and they were all very yummy. We do not like spicy food and we found that most of the rolls have quite a bit of spice in them so if you like spicy food, this is a great place. Also we had a few special request and the waitress was so nice and helped us out!

2nd experience! 5-stars across the board . My first experience here was not the best experience, but I will toss that to a one-off situation. This evening was perfect. Greeted at the host stand and taken to our patio seats outside on the 20th floor. The view was amazing.
Our server stopped over and introduced himself and offered both myself and my date a complimentary glass of champagne on the house per the general manager. I don't drink, but I was able to get their NA selection of the evening. the server was excellent and gave us both suggestions based on our selections. We both changed our orders and went with his lead, and he did not disappoint at all. Our meals were ridiculously good.
Thank you to the entire team for making our night special. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about it.

When we arrived last night the host asked if we were celebrating anything and then communicated (I’m guessing) to the wait staff it was our anniversary. We ate at a high top near the bar. Had a great view. Our waiter Gabrielle was FABULOUS. Gabrielle offered to take our picture out on the patio and more at the table. The service and food were great. She brought out a dessert with a candle and then the bar tender brought us Prosecco on the house. They really rolled out the red carpet for us. Such nice people.

My first visit to Tulsa and “in the raw”. I am honestly blown, can’t believe this place with world class Sushi exists in Tulsa. I highly, highly recommend this place. Make sure and sit in the balcony!! Tuna Nachos and the duck appetizers were amazing. The escolar and salmon sashimi were tasty and fresh!!

We recently went here for an anniversary dinner. We ordered the miso soup to start and were impressed with the fresh scallions and mushrooms, which had a great taste. We also had 5 various sushi rolls and were all delicious. The views were views from the sixth floor were spectacular as you had window seating over the ball park and down town skyline as well. The only con was the worn upholstery on the bar seat velvet and the place could have used a deep cleaning as evidence of splashes from sauce on windows and table settings.

The VIEW IS INSANELY NICEE. ✨✨🏙🌃 Priced food around $10-$23. I got the “in the raw Bento.”
The Food is a moderate satisfaction, BUT HIGH FLAVOR. What I mean by that is: the food choices are very fancy, but very fancy means very unique flavors in each food object- and sometimes that can lead to food not tasting as satisfying.
But in the sense of high-quality taste, it was very luxury-tasting 😋✨. Also, the liking of your food will depend on the food option you choose.
The Service was really fast, rapid, and solid. Great. Keep in mind also, it was not busy when I dined.
The playlist of music playing in the background was good, being soothing and relaxing 😌🎶.
And, the view in the restaurant WAS VERY NICEE. The large windows overlooking Downtown Tulsa was a very appealing site to see. I enjoyed looking out the windows and talking with family together. 🥹🏙🌃🏙✨
There is outside-seating as well, and the view from there are also spectacular. 🌟 Espiecially the outside seating overlooking the ONEOK Baseball Field as well. ⚾️

Unfortunately I haven't eaten here yet. We went last nite to eat. We did not have a reservation but there was plenty of open seating at the bar. We asked if we could sit there and the hostess said she just needed to clean off one of the spots. She asked us to wait in the lobby while she had it cleaned for us. We would've absolutely hovered, however, we assumed she knew what she was doing. Instead, she allowed someone else to take the spots she was cleaning off for us and then came out to let us know someone already sat there right away and no she would not be asking them to move. The wait was over an hour so we went right over to yokazuna with our party of 5 instead and spent hundreds there having an amazing experience!! Definitely never going back to in the raw. Yokazuna is where it's at!! Having started as a hostess and moved my way up to GM, I have never in my life had anyone clean off a table for a particular party then allowing others to sit there instead. That alone goes to show they don't like money and we will be sure to spend ours elsewhere going forward!

I work in the same building where this place is situated. I've ordered the same lunch item over and over again for takeout. Each time it would be a different price. When I finally asked the manager why, he told me that I was ordering it wrong. How do you order white rice with teriyaki sauce wrong? Apparently, you must call it sushi rice for a consistently priced menu item.
Another poor experience I had here. I took my 74 year old mother here for lunch. The music was so loud (like a nightclub) that we had to scream at each other to try and have a conversation. Why? Why do you do this? Cranking up the music may be cool for the employees, but it's not about you, it's about your customers. Tone it down.
Lastly, the final straw was today's lunch to-go order. Again, I work in the building. It's convenient. But when I order something that I have ordered time and time again to the point that the manager knows me by it and has even commented to me about it during dinner there with my wife, they still can't get it right. What I ordered and told them I cannot eat due to a medical condition was peppered all over my food. Not only that, I noticed my to-go receipt now includes an additional charge for take-out. Really? You are charging ME a fee for ME to pick up my food. NOPE.
Only thing going for this place in my opinion is the Vu.

We asked them no guacamole because of a food allergy in are party. At places like Yokozuna they use different knives to not have any cross contamination. They gave us guacamole in are sushi. The person allergic to guacamole have a sick stomach for 10 hours all because they could Not understand NO guacamole. Would get 0 stars if I could. We will never eat there again.

The atmosphere is FANTASTIC, and the view is AWESOME! Sushi is not really the best. It's ok, just not great. They don't have the explosion of flavors that Maguro or Sushi Hana have in their rolls. In the Raw South is actually better, so maybe it's the chef?

I had the most incredible time with my sister and her daughter for her birthday. Our waitress Hope was incredible unfortunately my sushi was bad. It didn’t taste quite right and it ended up making me really really sick. I’ve had sushi many times so I knew it was off. Other than that it was wonderful.

Came here on the 4th of July, food was mediocre. Service with our waitress inside the restaurant was great. We went outside after dinner to wait for fireworks, we sat in two chairs outside (we did not move them from anywhere) ordered drinks, & had been sitting out there for over an hour when the manager came over to us and said I’m sorry but we’re going to need these chairs?? He insisted that we get up so he could move the chairs to a table for other customers. We told him that the chairs were there when we came out, we had dinner here and now are having drinks outside. He basically just stared at us and offered to pay for our drinks. Such poor customer service. Who asks their customers to get out of their seats? And by the way, Just right down from where we were sitting, there was an area that was roped off with plenty of empty chairs for him to use.

My queen and I had the pleasure of visiting ITR Vu on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. From the moment we interacted with Alex at the welcome desk, I knew it was going to be an amazing night. Jaynna was with our wait team and she was a complete joy to engage with. Both Alex and Jaynna made the energy flow smoothly. Then, we met Christy and her vibe and energy was awesome!!!
We really connected with the team at ITR Vu. Thank you to the team and leadership for having exceptional insight of having the perfect people at ITR Vu.

This is a hard one to review. Starting with the good, the sushi was absolutely amazing. Very fresh, incredible flavor. Everything we've been looking for. The service was a polar opposite as could be. Can't even name my server because I only saw him 5 times, 3 as he ran by saying he'd be over shortly, once 20 minutes later to take our order (drinks and food at once) and lastly when I went looking for him to ask for a check. Everyone else that brought our one round of drinks (never could order another) and food were cordial.

We had been there before and loved it. This time we only stopped in for dessert and a couple of drinks. The Euphoria cake was supposed to be a "super moist" chocolate cake. Visited this weekend for a quick birthday dinner with my family. The views are great and the outdoor seating is a wonderful way to enjoy the nice Oklahoma spring weather. However, it was incredibly loud and, as a result, not very enjoyable. The music was so loud that we had to yell at one another. Add several parties yelling and, well, it gets chaotic. Our fire pit also would not light so it got pretty chilly on the patio after the sun went down. The waitress that we were told was coming never showed up so another waitress ended up taking care of us after we waited for a bit; she did a great job despite being so busy taking care of her own area. I can't remember her name but she deserves a promotion. The food was good but the atmosphere made it a bit disappointing.

Overall, we enjoyed our experience.
Food was fine but not memorable this time but could be what we ordered and less a reflection of overall quality. Wife had sushi, one kid had spicy noodles, one kid had chicken tenders, I had a wrap. (Previously have had a great steak at other ITRs). The sushi and tenders were good, the noodles and wrap were okay. Appetizers (tempura veggies and pork egg rolls) were fine. Dessert was great (I believe the Funky Monkey with the chocolate gateau and tempura bananas).
We had a reservation and our table was ready when we arrived. Servers were attentive and friendly without being overbearing.
Concerning atmosphere, it was great having a window table and being on the 6th floor to look out upon downtown Tulsa, but the music was a little too loud for us and felt like I was in a club.

My recent date night experience left much to be desired. Despite being seated promptly, we waited 20 minutes for our waitress to acknowledge us and provide water, despite her passing by our table several times. The booth we were seated in was unclean, with visible hair strands from previous guests. The lack of cleanliness in the restaurant was disappointing. While the food was decent, it wasn't enough to entice a return visit.

Always love coming here for the drinks and ambience, but the quality of service has been severely lacking lately. Sat on the patio at 9pm last night, took 10+ min just to be acknowledged and receive waters and waiter was unattentive the whole night. After reading recent reviews I can see that this has been a theme as of late for others as well. Please improve the service as I’d love to keep coming here but not if the service continues to lack.

I am not one to normally leave reviews but I felt the need to in this instance. This will be the second time I have come to eat here and we were pretty disappointed. The location is beautiful and the atmosphere was great however the food did not match. The sushi, miso, and bowls were mediocre, and felt overpriced for what it was. The servers were unprofessional and their uniform showed that long before their service did. The servers at on the border look and act more professional than the servers here. We tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but we were disappointed once again.

Food was delicious. Atmosphere was exceptional. Service was lacking though. It took them 10 minutes after us being seated to get our drink order. By the time we gave our drink order we already knew what we wanted and between our food being served and the time we left, the server never stopped by to offer refills or anything. This was also at 530 when the place wasn't even close to being busy.

I went there to celebrate with my sisters and hoped to have an amazing experience however that was not the case. We did not have a reservation which was on us; however, we were willing to wait for an actual table but we were told that it was either the sushi bar or outside patio but at the same time during the entirety of our time there were three tables that sat empty for approximately 1 1/2 hour but we were told that was not an option. We sat outside but there was barely enough light to see our food and when we asked for them to turn on the light we were told that they would not and instead they provided flimsy lamps that barely throw off any light. On top of that the food was absolutely not worth the time or money. On the plus side our waitress was polite and friendly. Nevertheless, I did not have a good experience at this location. I am sure others will have a better experience but that was my personal experience.

I have eaten at all the In the Raw locations but this one. Tonight we wanted to try this one, we originally reserved a couch but they had to move us inside which was fine. The place is classy, clean, and better than the others. Our server Keaton was amazing, her 3rd night there and she didn’t miss a beat. Glasses and drinks always full, remembered our names and made sure our order was perfect. She was very charming and we got to know her. We ordered a lot of food and drinks. Everything was 10/10. High praise!! our ticket was $171 for 2 people for 3 drinks, 9 piece shshimi, Cody role, duck bites, a poke bowl tempura bananas,, and edemama., Seeing a college kid bust her butt to do a good job with a smile on her face and make us feel like friends. She blessed us so we blessed her back with the biggest tip she has ever received, and earned every penny of it. Don’t split that with nobody !! Thank you Keaton for a great experience we will be back to see you.

I want to first say that my waitress and her trainee were wonderful. However, the man who I am going to assume was the manager gave us many dirty looks as my one year old had a good five minute fussy. When we first got there, you could definitely tell that our presence was getting on his nerves. The booths and chairs had crumbs all in them and on them. The eggrolls were delicious, but the teriyaki rice bowl with beef was not good at all. My Daughter did not like it at all and I got the spicy noodle bowl with beef and it was also awful. The meat had no flavor the noodles even though there were lots of vegetables in the dish, there was no flavor along with it not being spicy at all. Our ticket was just over $60 Before the tip. For reference of what we got for $64 we got the three items mentioned above and a tea, I had water.
This place. Definitely could use some improvements.

This restaurant was a complete disaster! All I wanted was to sit outside in peace and have my appetizer, then move inside where it’s cozy, but that was too much to ask for them. Spoke with manager on the phone to have a table ready for a larger group and we had a misunderstanding on the details. We showed up and discovered the table was not ready. Instead of arguing with me he and his staff worked to resolve the issue quickly to get us a table(they were busy) and we had a great experience!

Atmosphere is very nice. Dining staff was inexperienced and needs mentoring. Asked multiple times for missing table settings before getting out on from another table. Appetizers were sent to the wrong table, additional proteins requested in a dish were clearly not added and the chef said it was. We we had to count the shrimp for the waitress and chef. We paid for food we did not get when all said and done and our dinner experience was interrupted by stupidity. This is not why people go out to eat! The lack of experience devalued the quality of the food which is good, but not exceptional by any means.

Attentive staff. Wonderfully designed space. Downtown Tulsa serves as a gorgeous backdrop. Prices are high, but the view is worth it, especially if the weather is nice enough for the patio. Splurge for the atmosphere.
We had:
- Blackened Tuna Sashimi (1st photo):
Flavor was a bit bland, and the textures were a bit strange. Seemed like it had been refrigerated after seering, which gave it a bit of a jello feel. Loved the sauces, but on a cut of fish like ahi, with a good seer, sauces shouldn't be necessary. It was the prettiest dish but underperformed on the pallete.
- 6pc Chef's Choice Nigiri (2nd):
Excellent fish. Flavorful and fresh. Options included yellowtail, salmon, squid, shrimp, tuna, and (I think) octopus. All were wonderful except the octopus, which was rubbery (I don't eat octopus, so I'm relying on my guest's report). Also, I typically don't care for shrimp nigiri, but this piece was excellent with great texture and floral undertones. Unusual but it works.
- Restless Ribbon Roll (3rd, top):
Subtle and light. The crab was powerfully tasty, the tuna complimenting it well.
- Ginger Roll (3rd, bottom):
Bold and complex with stacked flavors of salmon, avocado, cream cheese, and jalapeño.
Side note: there are a disappointing number of gluten-free options considering the realities of sushi, which traditionally have lots of naturally gluten-free ingredients.

I was in shock at how good it was. Plus the view here was so so pretty. Will definitely be back for all the date nights!

Never been more disappointed for a date night in my life. Been here numerous times but a reserved table should be a indicator that it’s a special night to anyone. The service was so horrible we were forgotten about (presumably cause we are younger than the other table server had) and had to goto the bar to get a refill. The view saved this from being a 1 all around.

Worst experience at a restaurant, I made reservations in advance for my daughter’s 16th bday per her request, we didn’t get the table we reserved, the manager ( I believe his name was George) rudest manager by far, couldn’t help or be accommodating at all. Waitress didn’t come to our table until 6:45 and we were there at 5:55. Food was not prepared correctly and had to be sent back to the kitchen. People are definitely hyping this place up to be way more upscale than what it is.

Had window table reservations for 4 at 1:30. Restaurant was pretty empty, lots of empty window tables. Spent $270 on lunch and drinks, at 2:45 was asked to give up our table for incoming group that was going to be there at 3:15. We changed tables, still felt rushed so we finally took our drinks to the patio around 3. At 3:45 still no large group. I was asked to give up a reserved table at olive garden once but never expected this at ITR. My girls may be back but I doubt I will.

The quality of the food matched the other ITR locations. The service was average, but not what I'm used to finding in the other locations. The atmosphere definitely had a downtown vibe to it. Parking downtown can be challenging, especially if there is a special event nearby.
Edit- this location does not keep a physical copy of the off menu menu. "Either you know it or you can download it" was the servers response.

EVAN THE SERVER WAS AMAZING HOWEVER THE COMPANY SABATOGED HIS MONEY BY CLOSING AN EVENT DOWN BECAUSE I STILL DONT KNOW WHY BUT I WOULD NEVER EVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES (WHITE LADY) REFUSED TO PUT IT AN ORDER FOR ADDITIONAL FOOD. THERE WAS BAR NEXT TO OUR VENUE GUEST FROM THAT VENUE WAS COMING INTO OUR ESTABLISHMENT
NOTE TO SELF... MAKE SURE THERE IS NOT ANOTHER EVENT GOING ON NEXT TO YOU.. THEY CALLED POLICE NO WORRIES YOU WONT GET THE REACTION YOU WERE EXPECTING.. IN THE RAW.. SPECIAL THANKS TO TULSA POLICE DEPARTMENT WHO WAS VERY RESPECTFUL AND ALLOWED US TO LEAVE WITH DIGNITY

We recently had dinner for my birthday at the new downtown location. We had a reservation and were seated right away, unfortunately we sat there for about 10 minutes waiting for any kind of service. There was only 1 other table in the dining room at this point. When we eventually got a server, she was very kind and attentive. The food was fantastic. Cho Cho appetizer with cilantro avocado sauce was off the charts, as was the steak entrée on menu. Great wine selection as well, but the view really stole the show. We'll be back!

I put in a request for a reservation and have been working with Madeleine. She has been fantastic to work with and is very responsive when emailing. Service like this is worth the extra money for dinner. Plus it was a fantastic evening.

This was my first time coming to In the raw. I enjoyed the view, I enjoyed the atmosphere. Even the food was pretty good. I was referred from a good friend of mines & she had talked so highly of this place. Mind you this was my first time trying Sushi but it sucks to say this will be my first & last time coming to this place. I felt uncomfortable and most importantly unheard. I came in with the intention of trying drinks and having a good time celebrating my 3 year anniversary with my husband. With that being said I changed purses before I was picked up for a more classy look for my outfit. I was running late so I didn’t double check for my actual ID. Instead I grabbed one of my expired ID’s and I didn’t see it until I was already seated and after I asked to order a drink and I was declined. With that being said I am 22 years old. After being declining I respected it and accepted the fact that she was just trying to do her job. Because I definitely understand, I wouldn’t want her to get In trouble. So when she came back she gave my husband his drink and he asked me if I wanted to take a sip just to try it. And I responded and said of course . So that’s what I did moments later I heard the bartender by the name of Clare (which was my waitress)say that she just seen me take a drink of his drink and she “was going to watch me the whole time to make sure I didn’t take another sip . Mind you it didn’t matter that she said that , But it was the fact she said it loud enough for me to hear it all the way from my table . After that she watched me so hard I asked her if we could change waiters so we could avoid any more conflict she responds talking with her hands aggressively telling us that we have to pay first before we move tables in order to change waiters, then we have to go back to the front to make sure she has tables available. Mind you it wasn’t that many people in here to begin with so I felt like it was uncalled for . But we still followed instructions and did just that. Before we left she handed us are ticket with an nasty attitude. So we moved on the side of her still by the bar & I seen the manager so I asked to speak with him about the situation. I started off saying that I wasn’t trying to be difficult and I understand that I was in the wrong for me to take a sip of my husband drink and It definitely won’t happen again but it was the fact that she said what she said to a point of where I could hear it. And was very aggressively acting when it came to tending to me. And as I was trying to talk he cut me off repeating what I said after I said something basically mocking me trying to disregard how i felt about the whole situation. Telling me and talking with his hands “ she is just doing her job “ and I was in the wrong for doing it because I don’t have my ID Saying it very aggressively. So I told him that really felt like that you don’t care about how I feel and it just feels one sided especially after i told him I felt uncomfortable that’s the whole reason on why I wanted to move tables. So basically deal with being harassed and talked about and disrespected as a first time customer. So my husband just told me to let it go & the manager walked away. Moments later the manager went back to the waiters and kept talking about the situation the whole time looking back at me and so I would know that I was being talked about the whole time as I ate my food. As a woman black woman I felt disrespected and my feelings were hurt. I will never be coming back….

Waitress was great...rest of the staff not so much. Blunt, kinda rude. Sushi had definitely been frozen prior. One dish smelt like total Marijuana, miso soup was Luke warm and cold before I could finish it. Did not enjoy.

My husband and I have been looking for months for a restaurant with good food and a great atmosphere this is definitely the place to be. The food was amazing and the atmosphere is beyond beautiful. Definitely a lifetime customer here.

The view was gorgeous, but one of the rolls I had was terrible. All I could taste was the seaweed.

Had a wonderful birthday experience here for a friend. The atmosphere complimented the food perfectly. Price is mid/high range. Not authentic but upscale. Highly reccomend! Our favorite was the fish I think it was the Tuna or something but it was a hit with the rice! Calamari was yummmm!

My Fiancé and I have always loved coming here. The atmosphere is excellent. The view of downtown is impossible to get anywhere else. The food is always excellent and I would venture to say that there is not a better place to get Sushi in Tulsa.
This is also where I proposed and I could not have asked for anything more from the staff. They were extremely accommodating on space, and time, and they really helped to make the evening something special.

I love sushi and this by far was the best. And overlooked the baseball game. Had a beer to top off the perfect dinner.

In the Raw Vu in my go to place about once a week. The food is excellent, the drinks are tasty, and the service is superb! Tameo behind the bar is amazing!! As soon as I walk in, he has a Diet Coke for me, and knows the things I like to order and always checks in on me. He makes me or anyone I bring there feel like they are number 1, even as busy as that bar gets! I am impressed - Tameo and the staff are invaluable. ~Tom T.

I love this place. It has an awesome view of downtown Tulsa, and I’ve never had anything that I didn’t like. Though it’s a sushi restaurant, they have one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Sometimes, I go in for just a Sapporo or a cocktail. Tameo always gives great service. He’s friendly, fast, and attentive. I highly recommend In The Raw Vü.

I really enjoyed coming here! It can be difficult to find a spot if you aren't lucky enough to park up front since it's downtown. The service and food was great!

Our office team went in for a working lunch today, but some of the food was really bad... But please know that some of the food was good!: Calamari, Egg Roll app, Diablo Shrimp, Bento box. But the other half was bad: Chocho Beef and the Filet of Beef (in the noodles/rice bowls) was obviously days old because it was harder than gum balls and dryer than beef jerky. And some sushi rolls were luke warm to warm. We were a table of 8, and we were with our managers so no one wanted to complain.
I feel really bad because ITR is my favorite sushi place in Tulsa, hands down. Maybe just go at night when the food prep is better.

In the Raw is one of my favorites. I always seem to get outstanding service, and the food is always great! Now, you add a great view from a rooftop downtown, and it's a must visit for everyone!!!

View was okay, IDL and trains. Food was sub par for a restaurant that has been around for over two decades.

The views are amazing from this place. First time I went I got the ITR salad, I found it to be very bland. The second time we went back I loved everything we ordered. Love the edamame, there’s a different kind of seasoning on it than what I’m used to. The chicken tacos were delicious and the rolls we got were all really good.
Update: just tried the duck bites and they are SO GOOD.
