An upscale environment that brings together unique Asian, American, and Mediterranean flavors to give you creative and beautiful dishes.
came in for happy hour and some light snacks for dinner. unfortunately most of the food seemed oily, very little flavor, and felt as if it just came from the freezer and straight into the deep fryer.
unfortunately, not the vibe or food quality we had hoped for as we were staying nearby in a higher-end hotel and thought the surrounding stores would match. their website described themselves as upscale, but the product did not match the description.

Sigh. Not the same. I have eaten here many times in the past and the food was very very good. Atmosphere used to be busy and upbeat.
Asked about wine and was given an old, smudged printed paper. No prices or much info about any wines.
We planned on eating dinner. But after the appetizers, we left. Everything sat in a puddle of oil and was smothered by a strange gravy. Inedible.
Our server was fine and friendly.
Very unfortunate.

Awful service, matched only by the terrible food. This was our first visit and it sounded very appealing, an Asian fusion restaurant with a Thai emphasis. We arrived and sat with menus for around a half hour- no one even stopped by to say “I’ll be right back.” Finally we ordered, but the server kept forgetting what we ordered and after a long time brought out some food for us, about half of which is what we’d ordered. As part of our dinner we’d ordered hot green tea for the four of us. She brought out a single cup with a tea bag - never a good sign at an Asian restaurant that you can’t get a pot of tea - in a cup with lukewarm water. We then waited twenty minutes, well into our main course, for the other three cups to arrive, also all lukewarm with tea bags. The food was not particularly flavorful and had the texture you expect from frozen convenience food. I ordered my main dish spicy and it was borderline flavorless - charmingly, there was a warning on the menu that it contained Thai chillis, another promise not lived up to. When our main dishes all finally arrived, roughly an hour and twenty minutes after arriving, each one of them was cold, as though sitting quite a while (in the open, not under a heat lamp), and the rice was cold and stale. There were failures from top to bottom at this restaurant tonight. Dining there turned out to be a serious mistake, and one I won’t make again.

I had high expectations, and was looking forward to eating at Lemongrass Fusion Bistro for quite a long time. Unfortunately, I was severely disappointed and let down.
The lack of a physical menu, and use of your phone to view the menu needs much polish. The digital menu made understanding what was available very difficult, as you could only see several items at a time, organization was poor. But this was the smallest issue.
Nice location, was seated almost immediately. Prices for Chinese food are a premium, so my expectations were high. Unfortunately, the service was mediocre and the food varied from ok to almost disgusting, where i could not finish.
The Cashew Shrimp & Scallops was actually good, and left no room for complaint. However, the Lemon Sole was disturbingly bad. It is listed as a lighted fried Sole Filet with "Cajun spices, veggies, lemon butter, and rice". This dish would have fared much better if the fried fish was served on its own. There was no spice to be found, and the lemon butter sauce had no flavor of lemon nor acidity and really just sat as a very heavy sauce that was bland and destroyed the dish. Perhaps this was a one time mistake, but the restaurant was not busy, and for this quality of restaurant and price, it should be expected for the chef to taste the sauce. I ate about half of it, and was not happy I ate that much
The Roll ordered for an appetizer was delivered incorrectly, and the correct roll did not appear until after the bill was paid and we were ready to walk out. Kitchen stated they were still making it, after 45 minutes I think it is obvious it was forgotten.
Our waitress filled our glasses once, and would disappear for 15 minutes at a time. The other waitress seemed exceedingly busy and active, in fact I had to ask her twice to find our waitress. This was a slow weekday night.
So sorry to leave a negative review, I had high hopes and looked forward to this. Unfortunately there weren't any redeeming traits.

This food was okay. We repeatedly tried to order drinks that were not sweet - specifically asking for now sweet cocktails - and all three times got very sweet ones. It was fine mostly but a tad frustrating. The food was not bad at all but also not amazing. It was a perfectly fine experience and I would go back. Just not a five star experience.

I was at a convention downtown so decided to walk to Lemongrass on my lunch break. I loved the vibe of this restaurant but can’t rave enough about how awesome the food was! I ordered a salad and the Chicken Pho. The salad was delicious but the Pho was phonemenal! Best I have ever had. I sat at the bar and my food came quickly and the service was great. I highly recommend trying this place out!

I wouldn't call this food asian fusion. They have asian and they have non-asian. Food was good. We HATED the interior. Not very sophisticated. Tv's could seen in dining room and was very distracting. Music was loud......if I lived in the neighborhood I might carry out....but won't be going back....not my vibe at all.

I walked into the restaurant and thought they might have not been open yet because there was no one inside, besides a server and someone who’s apparently the manager. I asked if the restaurant was open and the manager replied with an extremely rude attitude. I don’t know what her problem was but this is no way to treat diners. Won’t be coming back again.

We got the pho, sushi, and veggie dumplings. Have we known the sushi and the dumplings would be the only thing good here we would’ve just stuck with that. The pho broth tasted like water and spice. Nothing in between we came here two years ago today and had nothing but good things to share at that time. They changed the happy hour time frame, the chef, and everything has gone down hill. They undercut us on the amount of shrimp in the pho and we had to ask for more and then we got more of the shrimp, It was basically microwaved and the middle was not cooked through. We will not be coming back

I’ve been on two occasions, the first time, the bartender refused to serve me and my friends stating “he doesn’t do lines at the bar” which we felt was odd. We sat down and waited a bit before being served by a waiter named Katie who was phenomenal and definitely made up for the issues. Much of the staff besides Katie seemed annoyed and honestly, if I could I would give her 5 stars alone. However the drinks and the food were great. We decided to go again the next day, we waited a min before being seated, then once we were seated no one came to take our order for 20min. Or even check on us or give us water so we decided to just leave. All in all, I have heard great things about this place, yet both times I’ve been it hasn't been a great experience. The food is good and they have great drinks but the service is abysmal. Again Katie was amazing and honestly deserves a raise but I definitely won’t be back.

Beware - Food Allergens
Ordered The Bowl and it tasted like peanut butter, but was advised there were no nuts in the entree when I asked the waiter. I was sick before we left the restaurant. When I called in to confirm what allergen was in The Bowl, I was told they could neither confirm nor deny that there was nuts in the meal. Then a manager attempted to convince me I must have eaten something else with nuts and it was clearly not their restaurant at fault.

One of my go to spots. The service is always the best parts to coming. I love a good happy hour but I don't think they're too pricey to come anytime of the week. I get it's a sushi or fusion bistro but I love the wings and the seafood Rangoon. To the point I'm stopping by at least once a week.

3/24/24 Another delicious and wonderful birthday celebration for our son. The appetizers were especially delicious and they were easily able to accommodate our Vegan (with Shrimp yum!) and a Keto diner! We cannot wait to return again soon. Thank you Doe and our server Danella! Older Review: Delicious specialty drink... I'll call it "the Tia". We dined on a Saturday evening with a party of 11. The food, service, and staff were all excellent! I was the first to arrive and immediately the person at the stand greeted me with a smile and left to check on our table. The next person came up with a smile and asked if I needed help (I told them that the first person was checking on our table) ... then a third person came up to ask me if they could help! I cannot believe that so quickly the staff approached anyone in the 'waiting area' with a smile to ask if they needed help! We enjoyed the tuna tar tar, veggie dumplings, and sushi to start ... everyone enjoyed their meals (I had the salmon and my husband the Sole). Definitely recommend for a fun night out. Great service and food ... and drinks!

I honestly don't remember having service this slow and confused. We had a party of about 10 with a reservation. It took about 30 minutes after they sat us before anyone took our drink order. The drinks came out about 30 minutes later and that's when the server finally took our entrée order. It was busy, but not a crazy rush or anything - we saw our server standing around at times. An hour and a half after sitting down we got our entrées. Well, 2 of us did. The rest had to stare hungrily at them for another 20 minutes when they finally got theirs. (Except 2 people that didn't get their food at all. When we pointed that out, the server decided to cancel those 2 orders, which caused another delay because those people were really hungry at that point and were ready to resort to cannibalism.)
The food was good enough, but nothing to write home about. From what I ate, the sushi samplers were very good. But the Monsoon Tofu was fairly basic and missing flavor for a Thai curry compared to others I've had in town. The one other weird thing was that 2 people ordered Captain Morgan and Coke, but got drinks that definitely didn't smell or taste like they had Captain or any kind of rum in them.
I used to come to this place a ton years ago. I was excited when I came across it when we were planning a friend's birthday party and less excited when I had to apologize to everyone for suggesting it. A couple of friends that came said they had the same experience there a month earlier, but came anyway hoping it was an exception.

Empty at lunch, should have been first sign. Mediocre service, friendly but slow. Soup was brought out after I was done with entrée. Broccoli with garlic was a generous portion but too sweet with no spice as you usually have with Chinese garlic sauce. Veggie dumplings were supposed to be pan fried but came out dry and shriveled.

This place has fallen from grace, sadly. Years ago it was among my favorite fine dining locations in the short north, but now it has traded quality food and service for a 'trendy' casual atmosphere with embarrassing decor. The food was bad - with the exception of the lemongrass soup which was quite good. We didn't even drink our one mixed drink due to the taste.

I went for a friends birthday celebration on Wednesday night . There were 8 of us which yes is a bigger party. But it was also a slow Wednesday night . Service was horrible. Server was rude. Our drinks came out all at different times , I was given the wrong cocktail and half way through drinking it the server came back and took it from me to bring me the right one and didn’t even apologize for the mistake . As if he was blaming me for drinking what he set in front of me ! Our food came out at all different times. Portions were small and over priced . None of us really loved the food. This was a birthday and the energy was so poor. The server had nothing nice to say . To top it off we all had 20% gratuity added to our checks automatically. It feels a little wrong this wasn’t disclosed. And before you say it’s stated on the menu … we had no menuss !!! You HAVE to scan and order from your phone. Bad experience . Very dissapointed. Would like a refund !

What happened to this place? Used to be one of the best spots in the Short North. We waited 40 minutes for our drinks (watched them sitting on the bar) and had to get up multiple times to track down our server who was in the back on his phone. When we finally got our food, shrimp was cold and undercooked (grey, translucent). Had to track down server for check and finally, 2 hours later, went home with upset stomachs and a genuine disappointment in the experience.

Service was super slow. I was sitting for almost 10 min before someone finally got my order. I ordered a hot Sake and got it ~20 min later after I got my appetizers. I asked for Sriracha and an Asian fusion bistro didn't have that... but the server said she'd get me chili oil instead. Another 20 min later, I got my entry, still no chili oil. I asked her again, and I finally got it just before I finished my meal. But hey, she said she was sorry.
The food was mediocre to just straight up terrible. For the price, you expect it to be a significantly better.

This is the 4th time I've attempted to order lemongrass through doordash in the last month where the restaurant never makes my meal and lies to the doordash driver and tells them it was taken by someone else. I think the kitchen gets lazy at night and doesn't wanna cook meals. Took a half hour with customer service on doordash to get a refund that I won't see for a week. Lemongrass doesn't care about delivery orders at all.

I rarely write reviews. Having spent years working in kitchens and restaurants I understand places have off nights, but I don’t think that was the case here.
The service was the poorest I’ve received in years - we waited 15 minutes to be spoken to after we sat and saw our waitress twice in an hour and a half.
That didn’t matter because the food was inedible. The sashimi fish we ordered as an app was old/wrong and of VERY low quality. I pivoted to Kimchi noodles for the entree and was surprised when I was served instant ramen noodles on a plate with 4 pieces of cabbage. My wife got the chicken teriyaki - which was unseasoned except for the “chicken” which I’m almost certain was precooked out of a store bought freezer bag. 90 dollar tab.
Astonishingly bad, go anywhere else.

On my quest to try every pho in Columbus.
This wasn't bad. It tasted good, I will say that, it was a delicious bowl of soup. But it didn't quite have that deep beefy flavor a good bowl of pho has, and while I could taste the herbs, the spices (clove, cinnamon, ginger, anise, coriander seeds, cardamom) weren't quite coming through. Also not a fan of how they put the hoisin and sriracha in the bowl itself instesd of giving it to you on the side-- hoisin is what you use to disguise a mediocre bowl of pho. The beef was tough.
My partner's pad thai was pretty tasty, but they got spice level 3 and we didn't taste any spice at all 😂
My friend got the zucchini tofu, and he said it was delicious. I got a taste of the sauce, and it was a wonderful thai curry, good coconut milk flavor.
We also had some veggie spring rolls. Very tiny portions ($5 for two tiny fried spring rolls???) but they smelled incredible and tasted pretty good.
Service was super slow but friendly. Overall not a bad experience, but if I want good viet food, I'd head to Lieu's or Huong's.

The food was literally gross. I feel sick just thinking about it. We got the fried rice and chicken teriyaki. The teriyaki sauce was not normal and honestly just made the dish inedible. The side of white rice was all I could stomach on the plate. The fried rice was like the bland rice and chicken that I feed to my dog when he’s sick. The meat was bland, unseasoned, plain boiled meat. I cannot describe enough how disgusting it was. We went with a group of 10, and we all left hungry and disappointed because we all hated our meals. Spend your money literally anywhere else. Even Panda Express has better fried rice. I still feel nauseous and grossed out just thinking about the rubbery, room-temp, boiled chicken and beef, plastic-looking fried egg, and teriyaki chicken with bell peppers that looks like it came in a freezer meal. I am 100% sure these meals were not freshly made, and they didn’t even spend a long enough time microwaving them because it was still cold/room temperature.
The service was so-so. We had a reservation and when we got there our table wasn’t ready even though the restaurant was basically empty. The hostess told us to wait while she set it up, but then someone else told us to go back to our table, so we did, and then the hostess scolded us for going back before she was ready. Our waiter was nice but slow on refills, never brought out the spicy Mayo we asked for (we needed it to cover up the awful taste of the food), and messed up our check. The atmosphere wasn’t great, there was 1 menu on our table that was just printed on some printer paper and stapled together, and overall just not cute/not good vibes. Go to any other restaurant in Columbus PLEASE.

I would avoid this place!!! The food not only expensive but absolutely inedible !! We went for dinner yesterday and when the food came out it looked like it was made from a frozen boxed dinner. The fried rice with the trio of meat looked like it was boiled food for a dogs meal. All the meat looked gray, had no season, and was extremely cold on the plate. Those who got the teriyaki meals couldn’t get past the nasty overpowering taste of the sauce. The ”fresh” sushi had brown avocado and was bland. Only edible thing was the Rangoons. No one in our group ate more than a couple bites and the bills per 2 people ranged from 60-120 dollars. Please avoid giving places like this your money especially when Columbus has so many other amazing food options on the same street. YOU WILL BE SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED HERE.

The fried rice had beef and chicken that was lukewarm. It had no seasoning and was just very bland. Overall just not a great experience.

This is my second time visiting Lemongrass despite the mediocre customer service the first time, because the food is delicious. My classmate and I were celebrating, and the young lady/greeter was so very unpleasant from the very beginnjng, and Mitchell, our server, wasn't much better with his lack of attentiveness. I arrived just as they opened, observing they were still cleaning up. Once the "greeter" opened the door, I asked if I could step in just for air, while giving them space to still clean and setup, although the opening hours and my reservations was 11:30am. I stood there for almost 6 minutes without any real greeting or courtesy check on my reservations. We stayed for our meal/celebration and had a good time for 3 hours. During that time, there were no more than a dozen customers in and out, yet our service was consistently slow and dismissive.
Too bad. I love the food but would never revisit again or recommend Lemongrass to others.

You turned down a vet and his service dog. You broke the law, I hope he sued yall.
Visited 2 years ago
Management seems to be ignorant of federal law regarding disability rights and service dog access.

Yummy food and when I went 2 different times with my service dog there were no issues
Music was a little loud but that may be a personal opinion

Really? Going against ADA for service dogs? Seen the proof myself. You all should know better.

Refuses to adhere to ADA guidelines and extremely rude to veterans. Absolutely do not support this business. eat elsewhere

Okay, Google...I never leave reviews (trust me, feel free to fact-check), so obviously, this experience had me shook... so here we go.
I came into the bar tonight with my buddy for $5 whiskeys. Everything was going great until I had mentioned to my friend how much admiration I had for Japanese people regarding their hard work ethic, exceptional discipline, various other positive traits, etc. Unprompted, the bartender decides to chime in on the conversation by saying how much these "people" have a messed-up personal life and a ton of sexual perversion issues.
My friend and I were obviously taken aback by these racist remarks but did our best to relax the situation. I told the bartender that I had Asian relatives, but he dismissed this and walked away.
About 10 minutes later, we received our checks. We didn't ask for the checks. I double-checked with my buddy to make sure I wasn't delusional. We were at a bar, having drinks, and generally enjoying ourselves... but were clearly being asked to leave.
We didn't make a scene, but we were obviously perturbed by the whole situation. You would think that the Short North, of all places, would be receptive to people of various cultures and backgrounds. To be honest, I think this was my first experience ever of being asked... without words... to leave a bar.
We didn't cause any trouble, bother other patrons, or do anything else to receive this sort of treatment. Just beware... if you come into Lemongrass... you better not say anything nice about Japanese people 🇯🇵

We'll start with positives, The waiter was friendly and attentive, and the seafood rangoon was genuinely good. That's where the positives end. Upon walking into the restaurant it smelled like rotten fish.
The lack of physical menus is very annoying.
Ordered the fried rice by recommendation of our waiter. The meat that came in our dish looked as if it was over cooked in boiling water. All the meats were overcooked and gray. The flavor of the dish wasn't inedible, but I have certainly had significantly better. What really bothers me more than anything, two orders of fried rice, one order of seafood ragoon (which was four pieces) and a single coke. My bill came to over $60 with tip. For the quality of food I was served, I feel absolutely ripped off. My girlfriend and I were celebrating our one-year anniversary... Our day was amazing, this was a rather large speed bump in the day that I would prefer to forget.

Went there with a group. Food was ok, service was ok. Then they charged me twice for my not cheap bill. After some back and forth with management (who was polite), they partially refunded me and told me they couldn't refund the rest, but I could have a gift card, lol! I mean what??? I'm baffled how a business can take someone's money, when they shouldn't have, and then just not give it back. Use cash if you go there.

Delicious food, server was very helpful even though it was very busy.

Went in on July 5, 2023 and was told to sit down. Waited 20 minutes and no waiter. Spoke to hostess and they sought the waiter, then nothing. We decided to leave, so when you consider the owner was chatting away with other patrons, the hostess was doing nothing, and the waiter was not to be found.
Honestly was annoyed that they wouldn’t work as a team, so they lost business.

Overall disappointing since it was cute going in. Food was ok. Took about half an hour for some of the food and drinks we ordered to come out. The scallops were good but not worth the price (2 scallops and potatoes). Soup was good. Dumplings were not great. Chicken wings were dry. Ended up being in the restaurant for 2.5 hours due to slow service on a Thursday evening. After being seated it took our waitress half an hour to take our order after we had to flag down another waitress to get our own. The entire order never came out over the course of 2.5 hours despite business slowing from moderately busy to maybe half full. The waitress never came over to check on the table without us asking another waitress to get her. Got a water refill once from a waitress who was not our own. We ended up not receiving about 6 of the items we ordered for 4 people. 3 of 4 drinks were very overpoured and undrinkable, so they were left untouched. Took 40 mins to get the check, which was not correct so we had to send them back. Also they automatically added 20% gratuity to our party of 4, which we were unaware of and could not find anything on the website about so be aware when paying the check if you do go here. The music they played was nice though. Really carried us through for that 2.5 hours.

Food is ok, but this place should be avoided as the clientele has really deteriorated. Head the N word yelled in my ear avoid 2 dozen times among other profanities, then a fight even broke out at the entrance. Hard pass on returning.

Everything about the place was really mid. The food wasn't bad, but it just wasn't great.

I've eaten here quite a few times and never had a bad meal. My friend visiting from Singapore was very excited about the menu. She ultimately chose the pho and really liked it. Cocktails were good, (happy hour deals were good,) atmosphere was good...My only complaint is that if was a beautiful day and they don't have a patio. :)

My kid forgot his toy at the Restaurant and the server trashed it within 5 minutes wi th out having the courtesy of keeping it aside. Management refused to acknowledge and said I don’t know what happened.

Amazing food and very friendly staff. The drinks are great and the food is spicy (if you ask for it to be) as any great Asian-fusion should be! :)

The server was very rude, he barely came and spoke to us or took our order properly. The food was not good at all, we had pho and vege spring rolls. The beef pho had all red beef and it’s was not properly cooked. First time and a very bad experience.
