Tried a lot of the menu. Everything is good. We go here once a week. They even have a kid's menu. The nuggets are McD dupes.

The tempura appetizer was very yummy, including the tempura sauce. My Cosmo was perfect!!! My husband enjoyed his chicken and rice and so did my daughter who ordered pad Thai. I wasn't very impressed with the curry and tofu. The ginger dressing on the salad was also good. Both servers were very nice. Will return, I'm sure.

Found a worm/caterpillar in our food. Server was very nice and attentive, but management/chef didn't do anything besides take away the meal that had the worm. Maybe a free dessert/app? Pretty disappointing

Recently moved to Knightdale and we have gone to this restaurant a few times already. We are always greeted promptly and the wait staff is very good. I have tried the sushi, a few appetizers, and the pho. All of the food has been very good. This is becoming a regular place for us to eat and I look forward to trying and enjoying more things from their menu.

I will go ahead and point out that this review is only regarding the sushi as that is all we got.

We ordered 4 sushi rolls and I was not satisfied at all. The rolls are priced pretty high but it is BOGO for the most part. There was only one roll that I ate after I tried one piece of each roll. The fish didn't seem very fresh and tasted very fishy. The fish to veggie & rice ratio is very off here.

The service was good. Our server was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is nice.

I've heard that the fried rice is good here so I may go back but will not be getting sushi from here again.

I had a hankering for some Pho and found this place. I got the IPHO pho with beef brisket, tendon, and all the fixings and then an order of the spicy beef lemongrass. Both were delicious! I love that it was hefty amount of food to accompany the broth being that I ordered in. I will definitely be back to try their sushi because it looks like it'll be equally as good!

We eat here frequently, I wish I had more pictures of all the different awesome/delicious sushi rolls we have tried, the pho soup and appetizers. The lobster Rangoon is one of my favs! The bar staff is always great and attentive. The owner pops in to greet customers and has even stepped in to make our drinks. Definitely one of our go to places

Pretty good food. Sushi is BOGO so that's always fun. We got the Shrimp Tempura and Chili Shrimp roll which was phenomenal. Pad Thai was decent not the best I've had. We've been here about 3 times so we'll definitely be back.

AMAZING PLACE. My wife and I decided on a whim to try this place (looking for a good sushi restaurant that was local to us). Low and behold, this place is astonishing! Before even having the door hit us in the posterior, we were greeted by our serve and seated. We ordered our drinks and and we're asked if we were ready to order, and the waiter gave us a few minutes to look over the options. We both had an adult beverage off the menu and we're extremely surprised at the knowledge the waiter had on the drinks... I was blown away! Presentation and plating of the sushi rolls that we ordered were outstanding as well. Atmosphere was great, not to loud and not to quiet either. Industrial feeling in the dining area was mixed perfectly with the Vietnamese culture that was spaced out on the walls beautifully. I would highly recommend this establishment and will definitely be eating here again! New favorite dinning place!

Bogo rolls! Pho broth was delicious, they were out of basil, wish they had told me that when I ordered as it does change the flavor profile when not added, for me.

Been a regular since they opened. They've improved over time, food is always great, service is friendly, Dan is the man! Highly recommend their sushi and Spicy Beef Lemongrass Noodle Soup (their take on Vietnamese Bun Bo Hue). Love it!

The sushi was BOGO and tasted decent. However, the soup fell short of our expectations. If you visit on the weekend, be prepared to pay a mandatory gratuity, even for small groups (there were just two of us).

So glad this place is in Knightdale! I love Pho and Asian food and Knightdale is kind of a food desert if you’re not into meat heavy or unhealthy options so I’m so thankful for this place!

I came to visit my friend’s house 3 weeks ago in Knightdale. He introduced me to this restaurant as the best in town. I came for lunch and everything was very good. Sushi was very fresh. I’m a salmon lover, so, I ordered many orders with salmon sashimi and rolls. The fish quality was very good, I loved them all. However, I came back the week after and tried to order the same as last week. I expected the same fresh fish as last week but what I got was the quality totally different. The salmon sashimi was super stinky and tasted awful. It made me almost vomit. The salmon rolls were terrible smell and really bad taste. I left them all. I paid for the meal and I wonder myself that I would never come back again. However, my friend didn't believe me and we came back last Friday night. Again, the sushi were terrible, tuna was tasted sour. either too old, spoiled or too much chemical in it. Salmon was terribly spoiled, smell too stinky. It made us sick. We totally disappointed with the restaurant. They really downgraded away far.

Please be careful what you order if you're coming to this restaurant. Maybe you can try some cooked foods, definitely NOT SUSHI NOR SASHIMI. We Highly NOT RECOMMENDED.

First time in, greeted by Tiffany. She was delightful 😊Explained first visit and she seated us immediately. Entire staff was welcoming. Ordered lunch, ginger chicken and Thai pad noodles. I don't recall our servers name, but it was our first time here and she was so amazing at making sure we had no questions, kept our glasses filled, and was quick to remedy a brief mistake in the order food came out of the kitchen (received wrong order and it was corrected pretty much immediately.) The food was delicious and the atmosphere amazing so shout out to her!

This was my husband and I's first experience at Ipho and I have to say, we are so glad we went! As soon as we walked in we were happily greeted and sat down at one of their tables, drink orders were immediately taken and brought out. We went in specifically for sushi and were very pleased with the variety that was offered. After a few minutes of deliberation, we decided on 6 rolls (merry, sumo, samurai, California on fire, and special tuna). Each roll had unique and distinctive flavoring, the wasabi was delicious and added an appropriate kick when desired. The California on Fire roll was a little plain to our flavor palettes, but that's just personal preference.
We also ordered from their specialty drinks menu (Under the Kimono and unfiltered Nigori Sake) and were pleasantly surprised. The kimono cocktail was sweet and smooth without being overpowered by the sake. The unfiltered sake was ordered via recommendation from our server, which was on point after he asked if we enjoyed plain liquor. He even took the initiative to inform us of the "proper" way to drink the beverage, mixing and pouring it for us (he even brought an extra sake glass so we could both try it). Both drinks were fabulous.
The restaurant atmosphere was subtle but elegant and comfortable.
Very highly recommend and will definitely be back.

I go in with my daughter and we eat our lunch and the food was without any thrills of excitement. However, it was mainly the enjoyed time I spent with my daughter otherwise I would give zero stars. The reason for the 1 star rating is It's put simple they charged me a service fee for using my Credit Card ok I'm ok with that most places have a nominal fee, but it was the fact that I was charged 18 percent gratuity for a table for two. I question the charge and they explained that it was a service fee that goes to the restaurant and not the waiter... Really!!!

iPho is nice and welcoming. The food was served quickly and was delicious. I had the lemon grass spicy beef pho and my friend had the shrimp and pineapple rice. Yum! 😋. The one downside is that it's pricey for lunch.

We enjoy grabbing various rolls at iPho. They have a great variety of sushi and many different rolls to choose from. Great service, nice atmosphere plus you can sit outside on nice weather days. Grab a Saporro beer to wash it all down..worth a visit.

Ordered the sashimi dish and got diarrhea from it. Turns out the escolar fish causes stomach problems and it’s also banned to serve as food in some countries. It only took a couple pieces of escolar to upset my stomach. Don’t know why they serve it

Lunch "specials" not worth the $40.00 for 2. Flavor is good. Portions mediocre. Overcharging with an unexpected 1% "convenience fee" for using debit/credit without any warning (verbal or posted) is unacceptable especially on top of an already high county tax rate of 8.25%. I will not dine or purchase again from any business that adds a surprise fee for non cash payment which seems to be a dumb trend that is not very business smart posted or not. There are too many well managed, good restaurants that DO NOT charge such a fee and actually want their guests to return. Putting servers who largely depend on tips on the front line to explain the "charging over" at a critical moment when gratuity as it relates to overall guest experience is being considered, shows little regard for them and is shameful. My usual tip is 25-35% of the total sale after tax but never to return equals zero.

As a frequent diner and enthusiast of Asian cuisine, I was initially captivated by the allure of iPho Sushi Kitchen & Bar when it first opened its doors in Knightdale. Over the span of four years, I made three visits to this establishment, each time hoping to recapture the magic of my initial experience. However, I must regrettably admit that my recent encounters with iPho Sushi Kitchen & Bar were far from satisfying.

One aspect that consistently stood out during my visits was the visually appealing presentation of the food. From the vibrant colors to the meticulous arrangement, it was evident that great care was taken in the culinary preparation. However, despite the tantalizing dishes, my overall dining experience was marred by the less-than-desirable demeanor of the servers.

On each occasion, I couldn't shake off the feeling of being unwelcome. It was disheartening to note that the servers' attitudes did not reflect the warmth and hospitality that are often associated with Asian dining establishments. What struck me as particularly odd was the timing of receiving the check – invariably, it would be presented while I was still in the midst of enjoying my meal, which felt rushed and inconsiderate.

As someone who takes pride in supporting Asian-owned businesses, it pains me to say that my encounters at iPho Sushi Kitchen & Bar left much to be desired. Despite my genuine desire to champion a local restaurant serving Asian cuisine, I couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment and alienation during my visits. I sincerely hope that the management and staff of iPho Sushi Kitchen & Bar take heed of the feedback provided by patrons like myself. With a concerted effort to improve service standards and cultivate a more welcoming atmosphere, there is potential for iPho Sushi Kitchen & Bar to reclaim its status as a destination for exceptional Asian dining experiences.

I found this place while traveling for business and so glad I stopped by for dinner.
I had the vegetarian pho and it was wonderful. Full of veg and tofu, broth was flavorful.

I happened upon this place when looking for somewhere with vegetarian options for my daughter in law and it did not disappoint!
It was fabulous!
I have been back several times since my first visit back in December and have tried many different things. All of it has been wonderful. They have a wide variety on the menu, and there's something for everyone.
Next time I go, I'll take pics and update this review.

I placed an order with DoorDash for a variety of rolls, maki and nigiri. I also order a kids meal and some lobster rangoons. When I tell you every bit of this order was AMAZING! I’ve only order from here a few times and I remember it being good but it’s pricey. Well I’ll never order sushi anywhere else now. It’s so worth the quality of their food! I can almost swear they slice their ginger fresh! Their food is phenomenal!!!

I’ve been to the place several times before and never had an issue, during this visit I again ordered the rare beef pho it was delivered to the table and I immediately noticed it was not made with the typical rice noodles. The broth had a good flavor and the meat was fine but the udon noodles that were used in the pho were mushy. I eventually was able to get the attention of our server who said he’d have the manager come over.. the manager not sure of his name but he approached our table with an argumentative defensive tone. I explained to him these aren’t the noodles that are typically served in the pho he barked back those are the right noodles and they are supposed to be mushy.. I responded oh ok well I don’t like it, he says you don’t like it but you ate all the meat I said I did not his response we put 8 pieces in the bowl you ate some of the meat so I will refund half. My intention was to order another meal but after that horrible experience with the manager they will never see me again. Grossly unprofessional!!

Came here around 8:30pm, I was greeted immediately by a very nice lady she helped us to our table, gave us time to place our order, also not even a minute after our food arrived hot and fresh! I ordered the IPHO noodle soup and other person with me ordered the seafood soup. The FOOD was soo good! And service was amazing. (First time coming here btw) I will be coming here again!! Would recommend 5/5 stars for anyone interested in trying something new or something hot on a cold night!

Nice to be able to “buy one get one free” rolls but only for the speciality rolls. If I want a tuna, salmon or a cucumber roll they won’t allow to buy at the “one get one free” offer. What can I say, I like simple rolls, don’t need anything fancy or necessarily fried.

Also, a bit of a pain in the neck to sit at the bar and having to deal fruit flies.

While sitting there you will also notice food splatter painted on the wall at the end of the bar. Come on, clean up.

iPho Sushi, I'm taking my business somewhere else! If you like to be nickel and dimed, iPho Sushi is for you! I have been a very loyal patron of iPho Sushi for about two years. Especially during the colder months, I would go once a week. The pho was always good, sometimes a little too salty, but good nonetheless. Service was good as well. During the two years, the price of the food has gone up 50%-60%. Even with the increased prices, I continued to be loyal. Inflation has been brutal and very punishing to everyone. I understood why the restaurant (just like everything else) had to increase their prices. A few months ago, I started to notice a $2 or $3 credit card convenience fee added to my bill. The restaurant discloses the credit card convenience fee right at the entrance. While I was not happy about it, I understood...since ya know... businesses have to pay a small percentage to the credit card company every time they swipe a credit card. The restaurant is absolutely making a profit by charging the $2 or $3 credit card convenience fee, but I was ok with it anyway.... A couple of weeks ago, I was charged $6 for two soda waters, SODA WATERS! Not fancy mineral water, or canned seltzer water.... Soda water. No restaurant I have ever been to has ever charged me for soda water, and yes I do know, that it costs the restaurant literally a couple of cents for a glass of soda water. So with that being said, I will gladly take my business somewhere else...

Went here with a buddy for a birthday dinner. And the sushi was so good. Taste delicious. Lots of flavors that complement the eel and salmon for the speciality roll and the tempura roll I ordered. Our waitstaff was so knowledgeable and very helpful on deciding what saki to get I usually get a Nagasaki organic filtered. He recommended the unfiltered Nagasaki and what a great taste. Prices are very reasonable for the sushi and appetizers. I would highly recommend. Atmosphere, sushi and waitstaff are great. Very laid back.

Very laid back. Waitstaff was great had some great suggestions. On saki unfiltered Nagasaki saki was very good. Prices are great too. About 25 to 30 per person but totally worth it. The sushi was very fresh and delicious good amount of flavors going on. speciality and a tempura with eel and salmon and jalapeños fresh on top. Calamari was a great appetizer. The sweet chili sauce was very good and their spicy mayo for dipping was delicious too. Very pleased with the experience I had. Thanks and highly recommend.

Only reason why I gave 1 Star is because , I payed with a card and and they fraudulently added extra tip to my receipt... I noticed it the next day when I checked my bank statement . Instead of total being 50 it was 75.,😡😡😡please check your bank statements. I'm probably not the first person they have done this to... will be reporting fraud

Only if the food wasn't sooooo expensive, and I'm not trying to be cheap here, but tat for tat when it comes to pho the broth is great but in the veggie/meat department we could do better, actually even the amount of broth, I really want to give the 5 star here but the lack of comparison to other places in the steak pho I have to give it a 3 it's making me travel further for pho when it's around my corner.

Came to iPho Sushi yesterday with my gf. The waiter was a little aggressive. We ordered the bogo sushi rolls and chicken pad Thai. The sushi was okay, but the pad Thai was over cooked, had a sour smell, and was way too salty. I left a CASH TIP and later found after I left that an extra tip was added. That is not how you conduct business and I will not be returning.

Things started off well with the miso soup and fried spring rolls. My food was given to another table so my brother and I had to wait while his food got cold. I didn’t like my entree because it was very greasy and the chicken was dry, so I took most of it home to my dad. When I opened it up at home, there was black hair in my food…my brother and I have blonde hair. I called the restaurant hoping to get a refund for that entree (not the whole meal) and the manager was quite rude and defensive. I wouldn’t recommend going here; it’s overpriced and the food is below par.

I will go ahead and point out that this review is only regarding the sushi as that is all we got.

We ordered 4 sushi rolls and I was not satisfied at all. The rolls are priced pretty high but it is BOGO for the most part. There was only one roll that I ate after I tried one piece of each roll. The fish didn't seem very fresh and tasted very fishy. The fish to veggie & rice ratio is very off here.

The service was good. Our server was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is nice.

I've heard that the fried rice is good here so I may go back but will not be getting sushi from here again.

Loved this place. The service and food were excellent. I would have given the food 5 stars, but I didn't order wisely. I may update this after another visit. I definitely recommend and will return

I have been here multiple times, but will not be returning. The two male waiters are the worst and can be so rude at times. I'm disappointed in their customer service attitude.

This restaurant is one my regular lunch spots. Staff is very friendly, the food is always super fresh, prepared to order and in generous portions. Extraordinary value and outstanding service!

Have been a regular customer here since this place first opened up. Always good food and a good experience. Sometimes staffing can be an issue, but they still provide high quality service.

Tried something different on the buy one get one free menu. We go about once a month. The service and the food never disappoint. Also love that their glass-wine pour is generous.

I went there with friends and the food was good but when you tipped them with a card they like to add more than what you wrote on receipt so always take photos 😉

4th time eating here and will be the last. Food has always been good but last 2 times food was dry and tough and not as fresh. Chicken was very chewy and meat was dark. Never been to a restaurant where chicken wings were ready within 5 minutes. Wife and daughter results in nausea and vomiting and I had upset stomach. Asked for house rice priced at 12.99 and was charged up price of 4.99 due to time of day. Now I have a sick wife and daughter at home.

I have ordered the same soup 4 times from this restaurant. Each time I have done take out. On the 5th time my cousin went in to pick up the order of vegetable soup and edamame which was $29 before the 3% or 5% addition that they charge if you pay with debit or credit card. My cousin said the man that rang her up asked you aren’t going to leave a tip. She said no it is a take out order, I’m paying for the food and your service charge. We are gracious tippers when dining in restaurants and when receiving delivery. I think it is rude for someone to ask for a tip, especially for take out. When we got home we noticed the container of bean sprouts, cilantro, basil and lime was not included. They did give me a packet of hosin sauce and siracha sauce. As I mentioned earlier I have purchased this soup 4 times prior and each time that was included. I called the restaurant and I explained to the man that answered they forgot it with my order. He said it is not included and you have to request it. I tried to explain to him that I have purchased it several times before and never had to ask. Instead of allowing me to finish my sentence he wanted to talk over me and tell me which soups came with those items. I asked to speak with the manager. He said he was the manager. I tried to explain to him if that is indeed the case he needs to speak with whomever is making the soups because they have been making them wrong the last 4 times I purchased it. Again he would not let me finish my sentence and cut me off. At this point I said to him, I am a customer. It is outrageous that you will not let me voice my concern. I know you hear me talking and it is rude to talk over me. At this point he raised his voice to talk over me louder. I let him know I will not return to patronize their restaurant and I will be sure to leave a review regarding the terrible customer service that I received from the manager. I checked their website just to make sure I was not crazy and you see the noodle soup listed on the menu above all of the soups and it clearly says it comes with basil, bean sprouts, cilantro and lime. I would recommend staying far away from this restaurant if they are willing to have a manager that is disrespectful and dishonest to their customers. I know I will never go back!

This was my second time at this place, the first time was a business meeting, and unfortunately it will be my last. While the lobster rangoons were good, there was a Staff Member that needs to enroll in a customer service class! He was very rude and condescending! I thank God for the “Brother” that was there to not only witness this Staff Member’s behavior but also defend my friend and I!!!

Arrived early on a Friday evening as the restaurant fills quickly. Ordered drinks and our meal. We were served generous portions that were very flavorful. I ordered the Chicken Brest with Fried Rice and couldn’t have been more pleased. Definitely going back.

Had some quick lunch here I got the seaweed salad with two rolls. The rolls I got were the merry roll and the Fabulous roll. I am a sushi connoisseur and I actually liked the cheaper (merry roll) better then the more expensive one. I wasn’t impressed for 18$ on the fabulous roll it was fresh and it was sushi but no wow factor. Seaweed salad was very good tho

This place gets 2 stars because the food is delicious, the chefs know what they're doing.

The negatives -

They charge a 3% fee if you're using a card, which is just a cost of doing business and should be assumed by the business... Not punishing customers after they already are their food for only having card as form of payment.

We're not the only ones who had this complaint, but they falsely advertise scallops in their Volcano and California on Fire rolls. They didn't tell us and said that "they gave us extra shrimp" - after we addressed it...

Also, waiter was forgetful and didn't keep drinks filled and bring requested cutlery.

Probably won't return or recommend unless you just want delicious overpriced sushi.

My family recently went there and was told due to money reasons they couldn’t take back their food after they wanted 30 mins for the boss to come back from his smoke break . Don’t eat here it’s not worth it horrible customer service over priced food no accommodation for other peoples preferences whether their allergic or can’t eat certain things because they maybe misread the menu they need to be shut down. Why have a whole restaurant open if you’re going to put your money problems on your customer who are coming to try something new and may not like it but are forced to pay for it .

I got the kiss me curry and I didn’t like it the chicken tasted old the curry sauce wasn’t seasoned as much so I asked to get something else since I didn’t like the food and they tried to force me to pay for a meal I took one bite out of . Then proceeded to tell me that their restaurant isn’t a place where you come and try food . I thought that’s when you go to restaurants you’re suppose to try the food to see if you like it or not but this isn’t the place to go for food nor good service I wish I could give less than a one star rating .

We ordered delivery, the order got canceled, and they wouldn't let us reorder because they "couldn't afford to lose money" ?
We've eaten inside the restaurant too. Food is fine but overpriced and they commonly leave out part of our order or have to substitute. Wouldn't recommend, try somewhere else first.

I was attempting to get food ordered through Uber Eats, but my driver was taking a really long time and looked like they may have forgotten about my order or something, so I had to cancel. I then promptly reordered my food. My next Uber driver, who had to drive to pick up the food, called me saying the restaurant wanted to talk to me directly. They told me someone else picked up my first order and were declining to make it a second time because they did not want to “risk” losing more money. To clarify, it would have been a mistake on their end for handing the food off to the wrong person, but now I had to cancel twice after waiting two hours for food.

Went in person and ordered 2 rolls of sushi for take out . It was buy 1 get 1 free on the menu. When I get the bill I was charged for both sushi rolls and the waiter who took my order said that the buy 1 get 1 free doesn't apply for take-out. I said where does it say that? He said its on the website.... The waiter could have at least told me when I ordered. $34 for 2 rolls, yea I wont be back.

Been there multiple times, pho and sushi are pretty good, service is hit or miss....went today and chose to sit on the patio for lunch since the weather was nice. Host asked for our drink order, waited 15+ minutes never got our water. Decided to spend my money elsewhere today. Only saw 2 other tables occupied, would hate to think what would happen if there was a rush of customers.

This was a exciting find in the area. Love the modern decor, the staff was helpful and friendly, the drinks were good. This is a great spot for date night.

We revisited this place, and so glad we did, we had a great server Dang, he was funny and very helpful, we enjoyed the tuna tataki appetizer which was seasoned so well, then when our pad thai and kiss me curry came out he saw we were still using our chopsticks, which we insisted we could do but he kindly set down a fork "just in case" we pretty much immediately switched over, then he came back by and gave me a spoon saying "it's curry, curry needs a spoon" we had a relaxing evening and a fun one, the food was very good and service was great!!!

The service was great and very accommodating. The buy one get one free rolls made the prices reasonable. The main critique is there was too much sauce (eel sauce, wasabi mayo, spicy mayo) on top of the rolls.
