Poki Bowl

You guys this is the greatest place to exist in Fayetteville if they had a membership for bowls I’d apply , I wish I could work here just to be close enough to order something everyday from here. If your debating between this poki bowl place or the other one in Fayetteville CHOOSE THIS ONE (freedom parkway right next to dicks sporting goods and hobby lobby) not only when you walk in everything feels so clean and fresh but you can see all the ingredients their using too chipotle styled. The rice always comes out steaming hot and fresh , the ingredients when you bite into them even if you mix your bowl you can still taste every single one in every bite it doesn’t mush together. The flavors all stand out too it doesn’t matter how many different toppings you add (I do all of them lowkey) you can taste each one and the seafood is so yummy and crisp. I also love that that it’s nice and cold never room temperature so when you mix it with the hot rice it comes out just right. The service is amazing too everyone that works there is polite , greets people with kindness and have lots of patience , even if your the type to order anxiously and don’t know what you want they’ll talk you through it and give good recommendations based on flavors. 100000% recommend this to anyone wanting a fullfilled served with love happy meal and they always stuff those bowls so you have enough for later🤍

I was in need of a quick lunch and decided to try Poki Bowl in the Freedom Town Center in Fayetteville. As you walk in, the place is very sterile, cool colors, and cafeteria atmosphere. The employee beyond the counter was kind enough to explain to me how their system works. You choose the base, then you are charged according to what you add to the bowl. I found it a bit expensive for my wallet, so I choose the cheapest options. Oddly enough, they do not have sesame seed oil to season the bowl, nor they season the rice with it. You can only add flavor by using one of their "sauces." I stay away from store/factory made sauces because they usually make me sick. But, that was the only option available or choke on the dry rice. I asked for just a little of sauce, trying to minimize any ill effects. I ate it there in case I became ill. It was not as good as others I have had. Shoot, even the Harris Teeter one you get at the sushi counter is better because they season their rice and veggies with sesame seed oil. They also had spam musubi for sale. I bought 2 to eat later, but it was lukewarm instead of cold, so I told the girl at the register she could keep it. I waited 15 minutes to make sure my stomach wasn't going ballistic on me. I leave to go back to work, and I feel a rumble that is not promising. I knew it! That darn sauce...

Moral of the story, I won't go back. Simple, but not delicious unless you put a sauce on it.

This is my first time here. They were very patient. I had very little rice and lots of veggies with 3 (regular) protein. My husband had the poki burrito, I’ll call it sushi mega roll! It was very refreshing and light. I would go back there!

I have been here a total of three times already, you could say I’m a repeat offender! Or you could say that this place has a way of bringing you back. The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere and cleanliness of this small Poke place is also worthy of mention. Most importantly the staff are all very friendly and ready to help. This place definitely gets high praise out of me. A definite must-try spot for anyone who is looking for fresh and healthy food in their Life!

Absolutely LOVED this place! My husband and I have been trying to find poke similar to Hawaiian style ever since we moved from there. I love that they have so many options of protein, combos with the base, and with toppings. I haven't had poke nachos since leaving Hawaii about 6 years ago. Reminds me of my happy place. The owner also compensated us with free musubi's when we had to wait 5 minutes for rice. His service is excellent!

The employees were very friendly and helpful. Their gluten free and keto options are readily available on posters. The restaurant is exceptionally clean. The boba was delicious. We got the musubi (very big), pokirrito, and poki bowl. All of the food was delicious and fresh.

My first time trying this place, and I will say the poke bowl was very good. The loss of stars was for the customer service. I placed an online order and selected curbside pickup instead of in store pickup. This order was placed at 2:15pm, so not a busy time for them. When I arrived in the curbside spot, I called the number on the sign and let them know my name and that I was there for pick up. The person who answered the phone sounded confused and told me the owner was on the other line and asked if I was trying to place an order. I again repeated that I had placed an online pick up and was here to pick it up. He asked what location I was calling. I said Fayetteville and he said, “yea but what’s the address?” At this point I was a bit frustrated and said, “I am literally outside of your restaurant and I called the number on the sign for curbside.” He then said, “okay well then come inside to pick it up” (in not the nicest way). I said I was curbside and he put me on hold then hung up on me. I called back and they did not answer. I obviously then went inside to pick up my order, which was sitting there, and was not acknowledged or apologized to for the beyond poor service I just experienced. It is not a matter of walking inside to pick up my food, as I am more than capable, it was the fact that I marked curbside and the lack of customer service I received. Again, the food was good so that is the saving grace, but I’m not sure I’ll revisit this place due to the poor customer service.

Dining at Poki Bowl was a great experience. I ordered the Thai boba Tea and had a regular bowl with crab, chicken and octopus. I’d definitely go back often. Great customer service, very clean and friendly atmosphere!

Everyone was really nice, the service was good. The manager had a bit of attitude when I was asking for a refund. This food was not only extremely terrible but also extremely expensive. The miso soup had no flavor at all and sort of burnt, the food was not tasteful or enjoyable. They don’t give you a lot of proportions. The boba was decent though. Other than that Im never going back.

My family loves this place, it is a part of our regular go to places to eat. We enjoy having a different option to sushi. The manager/owner is always pleasant to talk with and easy going. The food is always fresh and the place normally has customers so folks are returning. I don’t mind paying extra here to eat what I want again we go out for places to do better than we can at home.

FRESH & DELICIOUS POKE
I was born and raised on Oahu, Hawai'i so i KNOW my poke bowls. The food here reminded me of home with how SPOT ON my poke bowl tasted. Not only that but the fish is FRESH (can’t find that everywhere) and the people there were so kind & patient. This is, by far, the best poke bowl restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing! The owners of this location are so kind, generous, and provide amazing customer service. Lady Manager was disrespectful, no attention, speed of service is awful my wife and I had the worst experience ever, Idk what are they doing besides letting the customers whitout serving. Food was pretty good, but it is crazy expensive. Me and my dad went and it was $60.00. They charge a dollar for a little ramekin of white sauce/any sauce. Could have gone to Tsubaki or Bento Box and paid half the price for double the food.

dang good little spot was on the way to craves but was like I wanna shake it up, walked in and found a gem got a large bowl salmon spicy crab spicy tuna with ahi tuna it was delicious and I highly recommend the miso poki-spicy with the unagi delicious nearly went back for seconds, but I had to wait for another day

Had no idea what a poki bowl was but decided to try it and very happy we did! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly as we had lots of questions trying to decide what to put in the bowls! The end result was wonderful! I also experienced a boba tea for the first time and it was great!

When I first saw the price, I was a little stumped. I thought there was no way right..? It's pretty expensive..

Remember back in the old days? When chipotle wouldn't scam you and give you half portions?

When I picked up my families order, 2 large bowls and a regular, I was.. surprised to say the least. Just grabbing the bag alone was intimidating.. it's rare for me to pick up a takeout bag and actually be a little surprised at the weight.

When we cracked open the bowls, my family found a mountain bowl of food in front of them. Even for me, it was two servings easily from a large bowl, even when not eating all day.

They had mixed up my wife and moms bowl. That will not deduct a star simply because of how much food they really give you. It was probably my fault anyways since I had placed the order over the phone instead of just online or in-store.

Please try out Poki Bowl, you will not be disappointed.

Just went here for the first time. I told the two employees there that this was my first time there so they would know I don’t know what all they offer and the procedure of building a bowl. Well the female employee was new (couldn’t have been more than her second day there) and the male employee was supposed to be training her. I say supposed to be because this man stood at the register dang near the entire time. Meanwhile both the new female employee and I struggled to build my bowl as neither of us knew what the procedure or offerings were. Keep in mind there were no other customers in line so idk what that male employee was doing besides letting the new employee struggle. I left with my $18 bowl and am highly disappointed with my experience. I will not be returning.

I ordered the chicken bowl with brown rice. My husband ordered the tuna and salmon with sushi rice. There's an adequate selection of toppings and sauces, most of them for no upcharge. I got mango Boba with pomegranate popping bubbles. That's the best combination I've ever had. They have a huge selection of Boba. The staff were very friendly a willing to help out since it was our first time there. The restaurant is VERY clean and well maintained.

I love Poki Bowl!! I have been here a few times last year and they are consistent even after almost a year. This time, I had the musubi roll for the first time with my usual small poki bowl and it was SOOO good. I haven't had spam in ages but it tasted amazing in the musubi. The musubi alone can fill you up pretty good because it's huge to me. If you enjoy sushi, give their poke bowls a try for sure because their seafood is fresh and good. They also have various sushi rolls and sushi burritos which I will give a try next time. The staff is always helpful and welcoming, they have pretty good options for toppings and proteins to add to your bowl, and the restaurant is always clean. I definitely have sat to dine in before in the past since the establishment is small and peaceful. I've had other poke bowls and wasn't impressed, but Poki Bowl is a win with me!!

They are so accommodating and polite! I have celiac disease, which means I can’t eat gluten or anything gluten has touched. The super nice woman who made my poki bowl was able to guarantee I would not get cross-contaminated with allergens. On top of that, the ingredients were SO FRESH! Oh my god, I haven’t had fish this fresh since visiting Hawaii. 10/10 recommend! So worth the price.

Me and my Husband have nothing but good to share. We are from Hawai’i. So finding a good poke place all the way from home is hard to find. Obviously poke taste’s better in Hawai’i. But this is the closest you’ll find to some good poke! When we first entered we were greeted and felt so welcomed. That great Aloha you’ll get from back home. Through out our whole first experience at Poki Bowl was great. So great we have been back 3 times already since we first tried it a week ago!! Fresh tasting ahi, great workers, and their musubi’s was good too! Also besides them having boba me and my husband were so happy to see that they had Aloha Maid Juice!! If you from Hawaii then you know why. Hahaha. Anyways, don’t hesitate about trying them, just go and you’ll thank us.

The Poki was amazing! And don’t get me started on the musubi…it is so delicious and filling. I try to stop by for lunch daily! Grab myself a musubi and a bowl of miso soup. I have been waiting for a place like to open for such a long time. Give it a try! You will not be disappointed!

So nice to have more high quality, nutritious options here. My poke bowl was delicious and large enough to be two meals. Lots of options, including cooked meats and vegetarian. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back soon.

First time going it looked like they were making a couple to go orders, but no other customers inside. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly and explained everything. I ordered my food and was excited to see them grab an actual whole/ fresh avocado and cut it open for my bowl. Everything was amazing and I highly recommend them.

The food is fresh. You are able to see the ingredients as it is placed in the bowl. They have chicken and shrimp in case someone doesn't like fish. The utensils are single wrapped. They offer boba and fountain drinks. Very good food and the owners are so nice.

Poki bowl is new but has quickly become a staple when I go out to eat. The store is always clean, staff is friendly and most importantly, their fish is fresh. You build your own bowls or sushi burritos so there is truly something for everyone. And if you don’t like fish, they also have spam musubi! I highly recommend.

They are very helpful with first timers when they are figuring out the order system. And the food was so fresh, I got salmon and ahi tuna as the protein and it didn't have a fishy taste whatsoever. Veggies are very fresh and you get plenty of rice.

Viola did an amazing job making my first experience super easy and SUPER DELICIOUS!!! I highly highly recommend giving Poki Bowl a chance if you want something EXTREMELY fresh and made to order. This place is the best poke in town trust me. I’ve been to a lot around the world and this one is definitely one of the best. Way better than the other one in Fayetteville. Lots of spice if you want and plenty of fresh toppings. Staff was super cool and accommodating as well.

The most important part to me when you’re going to someplace like this is that the fish is fresh. It certainly was the one time that I tried it. I love the topping selection as it seems pretty authentic and gave me a lot of variety. I thought the size and price was good too. Will certainly be returning.

I LOVED this place. It was extremely clean and the staff were super welcoming and friendly. It was my first time in so they were helpful with the menu. I got the veggie bowl and it was a very decent portion for my lunch and leftovers for later! Every ingredient looked fresh and tasted amazing. Comparable to the poke I've had in Hawaii. This is one of my new go tos!!

So I had to go back, the food was that delicious 😋 today I tried the large bowl with comes with four scoops of protein. I got the spicy tuna, shrimp, octopus and salmon with most of the fixings and then I told him to sauce me down 🤭. It was soooooo delicious 🤤. I used to go to the poke place on Skibo before this place opened up. Once I tried this place, I could not go back to the other poke place on Skibo. I grew up eating a lot of poke in California and there were poke places EVERYWHERE. This business is so much like the places I used to eat in California and the quality is similar! The portions are huge and usually last me two meals. They have so many options for protein such as different varieties of fish, octopus, shrimp, and tofu as well for those who can't eat seafood. There is no max amount of toppings you can pick, just a little charge for the premium toppings, but choose as many as you'd like (: the customer service is so friendly and the man who served me behind the counter was kind and personable! For the quality and the prices, this place is top notch and I'll be going here for my poke bowls from now on in Fayetteville instead of Gohan Bistro and Poke Cafe! (Those places aren't bad, but this one is better 😌)

Finally, a quality poke place in Fayetteville. This beats the places I've tried in the Triangle too. I've been several times since they've opened and would rank this up with the poke places I frequented in CA. This food is so refreshing and delicious. Fresh juicy salmon on a bed of greens with all sorts of tasty veggies made for a great meal. Add a little spicy mayonnaise and it made my mouth water. Can’t wait to go back.

Sorry there weren’t pictures. I ate it all with love. I am a huge fan of poke bowls and always go for them when I see em. This place was perfect to fulfill my poke bowl desire. Fresh food, great and swift service. The owner served us and everything was great. Never had boba tea before and this also was a great addition to our lunch. I will be back for more. Thank you Poki Bowl for the experience. I have my new favorite NC Poki Bowl spot. Oh did I mention the place is super clean and welcoming. I’ll try to take pictures next time.

I will cry happy tears knowing there's finally a place in Fayetteville, North Carolina that serves SPAM MUSUBI. The childhood version of me approves.

My husband and I customize our poke bowls no matter where we go, all I remember is I had tuna & salmon & it was perfection. My picky eater had chicken & rice, he polished the whole bowl off.

We had the milk tea & a Thai tea with boba & both were excellent. Can't wait to come back.

My wife and I have been to other Franchise locations but Viola and her team were very welcoming and professional. We will be coming back for more!
