SushiDelic, curated by the visionary Sebastian Masuda, transcends the conventional sushi dining experience to offer patrons an immersive journey into the world of kawaii. Masuda, recognized as the "father of kawaii," brings his theatrical & contemporary art background into the realm of culinary delight, transforming the space into a vibrant and whimsical haven.
At SushiDelic, the boundaries of traditional dining are pushed, and a new era of culinary enchantment unfolds. Here, food becomes art, and every meal is a canvas painted with the brushstrokes of imagination. Allow yourself to be carried away into a realm where the magic of delicious and adorable flavors reigns supreme, leaving an indelible mark on both your palate and your memories.
I had lunch on a Saturday at SUSHIDELIC for my recent work trip, and it was definitely an experience to remember! The restaurant’s design was one of a kind. The fun, quirky theme and the attention to detail really stood out, especially the revolving artwork at the bar—such a cool touch that added to the vibe.
Since I was their first customer that day, it wasn’t busy at first, which gave me plenty of time to soak in the ambiance. I ordered the lunch special Chirashi Parfait, and wow, the presentation was so creative! It was unlike anything I’ve seen before, and the flavors were just as great as the visuals.
Things got a bit hectic when more customers started arriving. There was only one server managing the front desk and taking orders, so he got understandably busy. He was doing his best to keep up, but I had to wave him down a couple of times to get his attention.
Pricing-wise, the meals were on the higher side for the portion size, but when you factor in the unique experience and the creativity, I felt it was worth it—especially when I was in the mood for something different.
Overall, I’d recommend SUSHIDELIC for its fun atmosphere and inventive dishes. It’s the kind of place that’s perfect for those who enjoy a dining experience as much as the food itself.

Very very cool atmosphere, very very sweet waitress, very very terrible food. I say this with all kindness but the food bordered on inedible. We are people who do not leave an empty plate out of guilt. We could not bring ourselves to finish several dishes on the tasting menu. It absolutely sacrificed taste for cute aesthetic. Cocktails were ok - just treat it like a bar and enjoy the vibes.

Coolest restaurant I’ve ever been! The decor is incredible and so much fun. Usually when there are novelty places like this, you expect the food to be subpar but this was NOT the case. The sushi roll we shared was PHENOMENAL. We went a few days ago and have talked about it every day since. The service was great and honestly the pricing was fair for the quality of food and the absolute entertaining atmosphere that you’re surrounded by - 100% worth it. We can’t wait to be back!

Cat themed sushi restaurant with a beautiful ambience. Servers dressed like cats. Everything was pink and pretty. Conveyor belt bar was unique. Nice music playing in the background. Great place to celebrate and party. The sushi was good. Cute place. Decent food.

A Five star experience from the host (Lovely and Tipsy Kat) all the way to the management staff it was incredible. The best sushi I’ve had in New York City hands-down all my drinks in food came out on a fun conveyor belt, and I was always return to with smiles and friendly conversation. the host taught me about the culture and origin of culture. This Tokyo style sushi spot was an absolute joy even got to see fireworks from their signature dessert will return anytime I’m in the area.

HEY PIKACHU 😺 HERE! I NEED TO TELL SOMETHING!!
THE SUM:
This experience was one of a kind definitely a unique experience on top of that everything was so colorful and the waiters and servers were very nice and spoke in small bits of Japanese 🍙🍡. When we went apparently there was a boy band that was getting catered there so it was a very unique experience on top of two people's birthdays with the same day of birth! ITS SUPER CREATIVE PLACE IS SO COOL AESTHETICALLY
PRICE FOR VALUE:
Price for a full dish's technically ranges from under $25 or Over $50 per person
1 Main 1 Side and a Drink
Drinks are kinda pricey for what you get so that can add on another $15+
Expect perpetson totally to be around $60
+ if you want to experience what this place really offers then over $80+
FOOD🍙🍡:
The food comes on a conveyor belt the waiter if you're new will tell you when to grab your meal so you get the hang of it.
The menu could be considered limited but it's definitely condensed with a lot of the best types of Maki and other food types and it's got group specials foods as well.
Their advertisements are very unique as well so I recommend trying at least one appetizer if you go there
They do provide alcohol menu
With a decent selection
THE SERVICE:
There are three cats and the ladies get the dress up inspired by the cats which is also created for there by the pretty top tier clothes designer.
The very nice, they do speak a little Japanese to you, at the door (WHICH WE LOVE THE MOST), if you love or are inspired by the Japanese in Asian cultures this place is definitely a great place to showcase that. Or to get immersed in.
THE CULTURE:
Me and my girlfriend have been studying Japanese we've also been into Asian cultured as we were kids. She went to school to study for the language and I learned all by myself from just hard work studying and trying to remember while I work for a while I've been learning for a year and a half so far and I will continue to learn for most of my life for sure I definitely want to be more fluent, and being able to speak to them in Japanese a very nice experience even though I'm still studying. I am very thankful to the servers and waiters for being kind with trying to represent ourself with Japan and Asian culture language and more!
So five stars from us that is for sure we will be back again and I will give you more detailed review in the coming days
THE PLACE SIZE:
It's a really small but big place in terms of creativity so if you're going in a large group, at least larger than 3 then you should definitely make reservations to go there! I highly recommend reservations or calling to make sure that there's spots available

I visited here because I’m a huge fan of the kawaii monster cafe in Japan and have always wanted to experience a little part of it 🥹 Now I have and my heart is so happy
The decor is breathtakingly adorable, the servers / hostess’s put their all into their outfits and it really makes you feel as if you’ve been transported to harujuku! The vibes were wonderful as well, lots of laughter and singing and dancing
Food was 10/10, the presentation and thought that goes into each thing is honestly so cool! I got the imagination Experience and honestly didn’t realize how filling it would be!! Drinks were delicious as well and they had adorable merchandise from kawaii monster cafe as well! 🥹❤️

This place was a let down on too many levels. The food was great. But with individual pieces of sushi costing $3 or more and each roll only coming with 6 pieces. The cost is astronomical for what you get. I payed for the fun little carousel and that’s what I got. Further. Even though the restaurant looked spotless, there was still an insane number of flies floating around our plates and even making it into my dipping sauce. This would have been fine, but it was exacerbated by our staff member. It seemed that his only thoughts were to upsell me. He asked to leave a menu as well as a drink menu as he thought that we hadn’t enough. He came back routinely to ask. Generally this is what you want in waitstaff, however: not when it’s constant and it feels as though we are being baby sat. Overall. I wouldn’t come back. It was too much money for leaving hungry and annoyed.

My friend and I went to this restaurant excited to experience something fun and different. While the decorations and overall atmosphere were pretty nice, the service and food were disappointing. We were in the mood to try something new, so we both ordered the omakase menu and drinks. The drinks were actually tasty and fun, but the omakase? Not at all. It was very mediocre and didn't impress us at all, especially since we're both always on the lookout for new omakase spots to try.
Despite the mediocre food, we still wanted to have a good time. However, the server in charge of our table rushed our entire experience. We were finishing our main dishes when, within just 30 minutes, the waiter came over asking if we'd like our desserts brought out. Keep in mind, we still had more than half of our main courses left on our plates. We mentioned that we'd prefer to wait a couple of minutes before having dessert since we were still working on our main dishes. The waiter replied, "Well, but it's ready." My friend and I just looked at each other, confused, and ended up eating dessert at the same time as our entrée.
Also, I have a coconut allergy, so when our desserts of the omakase arrived I asked our waiter if there's any coconut components in the dessert, and he looked so annoyed and proceeded to say "I don't know" and when me and my friend kept staring at him, he looked super annoyed and said he was going to ask the chef. So god forbid if anyone with an allergy wants to come to this restaurant as they are super tolerant!
To make matters worse, we were halfway through our drinks when the waiter came over asking if we wanted another round, even though we hadn’t even finished the first ones.
In the end, we spent a lot of money only to feel rushed and disappointed by the food. The only good thing about the experience was the DJ. Would not recommend.

I’ve been here twice now. Absolutely love the fun environment and waitresses outfits. Both times the staff has been extremely friendly. The food is delicious! Recently I got the Tokyo Classic and I thought it was going to get boring sashimi but I was pleasantly surprised it was not. The presentation was great and the sashimi was heavenly.

The restaurant is just a gimmick with awful food. Myself and 3 other guests of mine got sick after eating the sushi.
It didn’t taste that great either, so everything is just about the aesthetic and the server was so so. Drinks were okay as well, both too great and for mediocre food the prices are exceedingly high.

I was recommended this place by a family member that lives in NY and being that this was my first time in the city I was SUPER excited to try this restaurant out.
It did not live up to the hype or I at least did not receive the experience I was told I’d get. While the ambiance is nice, the food and service were very subpar. For the amount of money I spent, I was not pleased with the taste nor the amount of food provided; I left still very hungry. The rice seemed overcooked, the food was not seasoned well whatsoever and the assembly was pretty messy. It genuinely felt like the food was rushed although I went on a pretty calm day.
As far as service, it wasn’t the best I’ve ever been tended. Due to the food, I requested I speak to the manager and they came off extremely passive aggressive and I wholeheartedly believe my concerns were not taken seriously.
All in all, this restaurant left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended) and I would not come back.

The food is terrible and the managers are awful
Waiters take forever to assist you and have horrible service
The food concoctions are made by someone who clearly has poor taste. The sushi rolls are way too chewy they have too much rice and the fish was spoiled
So disappointed because I came here when it first opened and I did not have this experience the first time

Should preface this with I went for their restaurant week lunch menu. NOT worth it.
Got the small bites and the sushi roll options. The appetizers were cabbage, shrimp and potato salad. All of which were just ok. Then you get 5 pieces for the entree 2 pieces of a roll, and then three pieces of nigiri (two of which were spicy, which to me screams that a restaurant is covering up the taste of old fish). With tip this ends up being close to $40 and you will still be very hungry.
I can’t speak to the regular menu, maybe it’s good, but if restaurant week is supposed to be a showcase of the restaurant and get people interested, it missed the mark.

When I walked by this weekend, I encountered a couple of Japanese girls with immaculate costumes, fantastic eyeliner, and a bubbly energy that made me think "I wanna check this place out!"
When I came back tonight to try it, they weren't working. The girls who were there were kind, but felt out of place for a place that's so heavily vibe oriented. They were both more reserved. Neither seemed comfortable in their costumes - one was more of a kimono than a full costume. My server Esmeralda was very knowledgeable about the menu, but wasn't in costume at all. I have a feeling that she's normally the manager and was filling in for somebody. Half the reason to come is to admire the energy and the care the staff put into their costumes. If this wasn't my last night in NY, I would have tried again when the Japanese girls were serving.
As to the food, it was exceptionally expensive for what you got. They didn't have the omakase when I came, but one of the servers recommended the sushi-go-round and a side. I got the poke burger.
The poke burger was greasy, but good. It's about the diameter of a macaron (and about 4 tall). 4 small bites of poke and some crispy rice was $15.
The sushi-go-round was only 6 pieces for $32. The 3 nigiri were on tiny scoops of rice. The California piece was forgettable. All four of them were mid. Only the wagyu was good (and the avocado was pretty good).
The sake comes in small glass cups that look like shrunken down soda cans for about $15 each. Esmeralda was generous with the sample pours, but other sushi bars I've been to in Manhattan give you bigger portions of nicer sake for that price.
The couple next to me over-ordered, and gifted me an extra roll of 6 pieces. 12 pieces plus the poke burger is about the right amount of food for a not-overly-filling meal.
If I came back, I'd skip the sushi-go-round - it's a horrible value and not terribly delicious either. I'd also be sure the excited waitresses were working. If the waitresses aren't having fun, you won't be either.

Pros- great atmosphere, food was on point, shout out to the chefs.
Cons- first, a 9:30 reservation was made (restaurant closes at 11p). The server called the person I was joining at the restaurant and asked if we were actually coming and to inform that the kitchen was closing ‘around 9:45.’ I had to look at the menu on my way to the restaurant because I was arriving at 9:48p and they wouldn’t keep the kitchen open past then. What a turnoff. And in hindsight even more frustrating because our food came out in parts anyway.
When I arrived, the servers barely spoke to us (party of 2). We were not asked if we wanted drinks (which we did but did not feel like we could ask). We had to ask for the check.
Our server was Jandor- not friendly or personable.
Will not be coming back 👎🏻

Very kawaii.
Friendly staff. Sushi rolls were good, unique, flavorful.
The decor was definitely cool.
DJ happened to start playing before we left.
My only mistake was thinking they would have a la carte sushi available on the conveyor belt rather than just kawaii artwork.

Honestly I don't understand what just happened. This is a TikTok tourist attraction. I was greated by white girls talking Japanese, to then realize not a single Asian person is employed at this "Kawaii experience." The sushi is overpriced and basically inedible. I ordered what is essentially a salmon avocado roll and spicy tuna crispy rice and couldn't finish either. Some of our party did the omakase option and the courses were rough. The food was trying to be a culinary experience but was barely edible. To top it all off it's not affordable. There was literally a woman taking selfies and filming videos of herself the whole time and she didn't even order any food. The place is just for "aesthetics" and even the aesthetics miss.

The sushi was reasonable but not extraordinary -- the omakase experience might be very different. Still, I think you go here for the atmosphere of giant rotating kitten heads and bedazzled items on the conveyor belt, not for the ultimate sushi preparation.

I don’t know where to start? I will start by saying that’s a good thing. Super amazing restaurant will make you feel you’re not in New York City but out of this world. Very nice ambiance and there’s even a Dj who manages not to make the place too loud to enjoy. It’s a fusion between Lisa Frank and Japanese couture. You’ll be greeted by the most amazing staff who bring the Japanese vibe to life. The food was decadent and exotic which I’m not one to try new foods and like them. I loved them! Celebrated my birthday and the staff made sure to make it memorable! Origato 💕

What I actually experienced was even crazier than I anticipated.
The restaurant is small, and features seating for perhaps 50 people. A hostess clad head to toe in cosplay quality Kawaii dress greeted us enthusiastically. As we were shown to our table, I noticed a Japanese style sushi conveyor belt, only there was no food on it. There was art.
Above our heads, light fixtures were giant lipsticks, massive floating cute cat heads, and mirrors cut into the shape of clouds. Everything in here seemed to glow some color or the other, like you were about to have a meal at Willy Wonkas Japanese uncles house.
The menu was a single sheet, and had all kinds of odd and interesting items. To make sure I got the full experience, I opted for the “Pure Imagination” omakase dinner. Glad I did that, because this has to be the most fun and immersive way to have dinner here.
One course at a time, the kimono wearing server brought small plates that were neatly decorated with flakes, sauces and even rice in different colors. Each of these plates was kind of a work of art in itself. A plate with a potato monster, a metal carousel with sushi riding along. A sauce plate in the style and colors of a paint palette.
The finale was an item called the Chirashi Parfait. It featured 18 different items, presented in the style of ice cream, but absolutely sushi. Radical.
The cocktails were fun and they had many non alcoholic items as well. I got quite full and wondered how much more I may be able to handle, but decided to call it quits and be content with what I had eaten.
Just before I requested my check, I noticed some boxes in a hallway. Inside clear bins, were those bears from the 6%DOKIDOKI store in Japan. I couldn’t believe it. I bought one as a souvenir but I have a very special little girl in mind that I think would love an Easter surprise.
Overall the whole place was fun, I would recommend it to any sushi enthusiast in NYC, especially the adventurous and colorful of you. Considering the fun spirited theme of the place, I’m sure you can wear whatever you want in.
You’ll be wearing a huge smile on your way out.

This is a beautiful place, designed by/with artist Sebastian Masuda. Having sushi here is like dining in an art gallery space. Even if you just go for a classic miso soup, California roll, wakame salad (which I did), you’ll be treated to rich, layered flavours and a delightful attention to detail. Lovely wine list. And the staff, omg, is made up of incredibly talented and warmly welcoming individuals and artists.

Very trendy and instagram-able place. The place is filled with sharp vivid color and we are welcome loudly as soon we walked in.
We reserve a table but not sure what happened, we ended up at the bar on the sushi belt. No issue there as we got to enjoy the cute dishes through the belt.
For food, a bit salty But that varies on personal matter. The rolls are very trendy. We had a miso soup as well but it is over hyped from the other reviews. It is good but not wow. The wagyu uni was a good choice. They have a good selection of drinks as well.
For service, very attentive! No complaints there. They bring you the soya versus the traditional bottle you have already on the table.
The place has a good number of parking as well outside on the streetbut to be honest we thought there would be more cute sushi on the sushi belts…

I wanted to come here for a while and finally was able to come for my boyfriend and my anniversary. It was awesome. We sat at the conveyor belt bar and got the Pure Imagination Experience which was awesome. There were 7 imaginative courses that came with delicious sauces that the waitress came over and gave pairing suggestions for each course. The courses were filling and we both walked away super full and happy. All the food was aesthetically pleasing as well as flavorful and good. The pure imagination comes with a polaroid picture per person which was a fun touch. The restaurant itself was an instagramers paradise. Everything was in theme, there was art everywhere and even the wait staff and hostess was dressed in Kawaii theme. Though a little pricey I felt that it was worth it and would definitely return for another special event.

The food is phenomenal, everything is perfectly cooked and prepared, and it's served on a cool record vinyl plate.
Everyone working there is so nice and helpful, and it's overall just a very welcoming place.
AND THE DECORATIONS ARE BEAUTIFUL. It feels so outer-worldy, like the Meow Wolf of sushi places.

So glad I got to experience this restaurant. Sushidelic has a really interesting atmosphere that is different from any restaurant I've ever visited. Very aesthetic and instagramable from the interior to the food. Most of the time when a restaurant puts this much effort into their vibe, the food suffers, but not here. I had several items from the menu and everything was delicious. I am immensely surprised by how rich and flavorful their miso soup is! The staff were also very attentive and friendly. My biggest concern was that the restaurant would be too overstimulating but I actually didn't think it was. The music wasn't too loud and there were no crazy flashing lights or anything inside the dining room. I definitely would come back here again.

Went with my husband and a friend for the Valentines Day special. Great atmosphere but feel the food could be better. The presentation of the food was pretty. This is definently a place to experience for fun and good hang out times. The decor was amazing and beautiful in person. Make sure to sit at the bar to experience the conveyer belt artwork. They handed roses to the couples at the end of your dinner session. <3

Went here with my friend to celebrate my birthday and had an amazing time! When we showed up it was packed, but the staff made sure we got a seat at the bar so we could have the full experience of the restaurant.
The drinks & food were delicious, everyone was very nice, and the overall atmosphere was amazing! And they even brought out a little dessert & took a polaroid photo of my friend and I as a birthday gift for me. The next time I'm in NYC I would love to come back!

What an amazing and fun time. We sat at the bar thinking it was revolving sushi. But the revolving bar is actually an art installation. The food was great. Beautiful presentation. But above all is the host Hannah. She was an amazing welcoming host. So proud of the restaurant. Told us all about the artist and Kawaii. Highly suggest.

Before I sat down at the bar tonight, I had only heard of this place in the fever dream. As soon as you enter the doors, you are immersed in a culinary experience from from the amazing hostess, to the trendy aesthetic all the way down to the delicious food. We tried the “pure imagination” option because we wanted a little bit of everything and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made this year so far. Our amazing waitress, Matty, was patient when answering all of our questions and informative while walking us through the menu. We will definitely be back, and I cannot wait until then!

Wasn't sure what to expect from this place, but wow I was impressed! The staff greeted us as we arrived and were quick and fantastic all night. The food options are unique and delicious. We ordered a full second round of dishes to try more and left very full. Great for a special occasion or date night. Highly recommend and will be back soon.

Business dinner with about 15 of us. My boss ended up picking this place to treat us.
The charm of SushiDelic extends beyond the menu. A cute host, dressed in costume greeted as we entered. The atmosphere at SushiDelic is unlike anything I've seen before. Super cute, vibrant, and with a touch of whimsy that adds to the overall charm. We ordered a lot of dishes off the menu and some we shared. No dish disappointed!
A big shoutout to the entire team at SushiDelic for making our afterwork gathering so special. The Kawaii theme brought smiles to our faces, and we left with happy hearts and full stomachs. We'll be back for more of this delightful experience! The manager, too, was exceptionally nice, checking on us periodically and ensuring our evening was nothing short of perfect.

Came here for a friends Bday. SushiDelic exceeded our expectations. We sat at the bar and did the Omakase menu (must-try for anyone looking to indulge in the chef's creativity). A few of the dishes came out on the conveyer belt (this is not a conveyer sushi spot). I highly recommend this gem for special occasions and unique dining experiences.

Service non existent. No host when we walked in and waited 10mins for one to appear (restaurant was half empty). We were eventually seated after I asked bartender to get someone to help us but then no one ever came to take our order. After waiting 15mins we had enough and got up and left. Really weird experience…

This is like the worst place I’ve ever been too. Overpriced! Food is below average!
Whatever you see on insta or other social media pics, videos it’s just looks good on the pics. In person. Looks cheap. All that good on moving conveyor it’s all artificial. There is no real food. Drinks look ok, nothing fancy nothing special.
I wouldn’t recommend. If you go to nobu you can actually eat something for $200
We left hungry.
This place is not gonna last long.

We had a great 'Kawaii' experience at Sushidelic last night. The staff, food and experience was all around outstanding. Hannah, the maitre'd was so amazing! Our server (sorry forgot her name) was so sweet and super helpful! The presentation was so unique. I highly recommend sitting at the bar for the 'Pure Imagination-conveyor belt' experience. So unique. We were thrilled to meet Mr. Sebastian Masuda, he was so gracious and welcoming.

What a fun sushi experience!!! One of the most unique meals I've ever had. The tasting menu was a TON of food and had a variety of sauces you could mix and match with. I'm obsessed with the staff, they were so nice and accommodating. If you like kawaii this place is for you!

I found a very cruel and inaccurate 1 star review of this place online, it simply isn’t true.
I came here for dinner last night - the a la carte food was delicious, the server couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful and the decor was loud, proud, and wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the crab tartare and the salmon carpaccio.
One point to note - the restaurant advertises itself as a conveyor belt sushi bar but it’s not the “take a bowl from the belt” style of service. The conveyor is for decor only.

First time in NYC with our family and we were looking for something special for dinner…and we found it in SushiDelic!
Amazing food, kind service and cool interior design atmosphere that makes for great photos. We will always remember our trip there and look forward to go again next time we’re in NYC.

I’m absolutely in love this place. It’s the hands-down of the best restaurant in NYC. Amazing food quality with good service. Definitely, I will go again!

Amazing atmosphere, food was so original and fantastic, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!!! Super friendly staff. Thanks so much!

Forced to get the omakase which came with still frozen broccoli tempura that seemed to be unsalted, bland sashimi, and sushi rolls where the sauce seemed to overpower all the other flavours. The combinations were all very odd but the main issue was the quality of the fish. Everything there just feels really cheap.

Don’t go.
To start the evening you’re presented with a teaspoonful of salmon served on a sweet macaron. You choke down the dish so leathery it’s like chewing a rubber boot and, already, doubts about the place start to creep in. But you can’t think about it long! Your flight of sake comes careening towards you on a conveyor belt at warp speed, mixed in with other detritus - a beanie baby, a shoe - you snatch it.
A drink in hand, you move on to two courses of more traditional fare (tempura, a hand roll) and start to let your guard down. But then, the finale, a parfait made seemingly of entrails comes whizzing along the conveyor belt. Odds and ends are crammed into a glass with dyed-pink rice and the whole thing is chunky and fishy - your resolve to “at least get your money’s worth” starts to waiver as you solemnly bite into the canned mini corn at the top of the pile.
At long last, dessert arrives! You glance up at the fun house mirrors thinking “sweet relief”, but it is not to be. Cheesecake with a strong blue cheese flavor and a rice crispy that’s somehow gone sour are the treats du jour.
Just don’t go. Don’t go. You can take a picture of the decor from outside. I’m feeling ill just thinking about it.

Wow I don't even know where to begin. First, upon arrival I was greeted by Hannah the person at the front stand. She was so wonderful, kind, and friendly.
Her costume/uniform looks absolutely stunning and the restaurant would truly be missing something without her. The costume design and her personality truly bring this space to life.
The drinks were all eclectic and fun. The two that I had were both unique and colorful, and were able to do so while also tasting really good!
I chose to do the course menu. The pacing was pretty good, and the food itself was delicious. The presentation of the food at this restaurant is so fun and lighthearted. They encourage you to really explore with your own meal by choosing sauces on your palette for each item that comes out.
Overall a great experience thanks to Hannah and the life she brings to the space, as well as the delicious food and drink that accompany such a fun and colorful theme.

Cool decor, very instagrammable but mediocre food. There are many better places in NYC to spend your money on sushi. The cocktails were great, so if you want to come inside for the view and experience, I recommend going that route.

It was our anniversary and they treated us like heaven! Our server makes us feel so welcomed and she has all the answers for every question.
The place has very innovative ideas for their concepts for food. Saying that, everything was amazing. The ambiance, decorations and colors it makes you feel in another world.

The food was extremely overpriced and not of quality. There’s only 2 pre-fix menus, both of which are a little under $100 but you certainly don’t get anywhere close to that amount of food, nor did any of it taste great. The staff was very nice and pleasant, but they came over to the table too often. It was frustrating to feel interrupted mid-conversation by the staff so often. The atmosphere could be a lot better, there wasn’t much of a vibe though I see what they were trying to do. Unfortunately the execution wasn’t there. I strongly, strongly dont recommend coming here.

Cute as hell. We were thrilled not to be the only dressed up patrons. Food was pretty, but the sauces made no sense and the fish was mediocre. I'm glad I went once, but won't be back.

Booked a reservation here and was excited until I found out they have a set menu and it’s not actually a conveyor belt restaurant. I have allergies to certain things on the set menu and when I messaged them weeks ago they never got back to me on if I could swap out menu items. My guess is no from their lack of response and poor customer service.

$100 dinner for what? The food was very basic. A macaron? Shrimp tempura? Cornflakes in the teeny tiny yogurt ice cream dessert? It’s not fun to pay $100+ for shrimp tempura and cornflakes. The decor and vibe was really not worth it. There was no atmosphere either.

Bizarre in the BEST way! Sushidelic offered an incredibly unique and quirky experience from the atmosphere to the divine food and cocktails! The shrimp tempura I can only describe as an out of body experience. Each course journeyed us through different flavor profiles and expanded our palettes in an array of various ways. The staff is incredibly bubbly, energetic, and knowledgeable to boot! Our server, Jandora, was magnificent; affable, kind, and funny; we had a wonderful time!

On our first trip to NYC we visited Sushidelic on the recommendation of a good friend from LA. It was amazing! Top notch food service and art! We had a great night out thanks to the hard work the chefs, servers and hostess put in at Sushidelic and left full happy and super excited. The visuals in the restaurant were amazing and the narrative along with the food was a real experience. Our server even gave us macrons that matched our outfits! So cool. A real contender for the best sushi I've had, If you want a place to go all dressed up in kawaii in NYC this is your spot.

The restaurant decoration is cute but the food portion is very small, the quality is very so so, taste is not very good. And there is no experience feel at all. It’s a huge disappointment.

It was so beautiful inside with all the artwork made by the creator of the restaurant & all the staff were nice. It was the perfect amount of food for me & I left feeling very full and satisfied, the sushi tasted amazing! I was a bit worried it would taste bad or be cheap, but it was good quality fish. I loved it

Sushidelic is SO fun and delicious. Our waitress explained everything so well and recommended playing around with all of the different sauces and flavors, but gave us her favorite combos as well!
The atmosphere is amazing and so exciting, but welcoming and the food was delicious. The sauces were very unique and it was fun to try them with the different dishes.
The sushi was DELICIOUS. I would recommend Sushidelic for anyone looking for a fun time with good vibes.

This is a beautiful establishment. The aesthetic is 10/10. Currently, the menu is two crafted six course experiences, $85 or $95 per option, no a la carte options. The drinks are Brooklyn NY prices but so playful and tantalizing on paper, I WILL be back to try them all. The bartender is top tier and knows some ASL for all my Deaf/HoH kawaii-loving or simply sushi-loving patrons.
I didn't sit at the bar, which is by reservation, and has a funky, artistic display picturesque conveyer belt that transports drinks and food. I will say there's nowhere to put handbags at the tables, so the hooks under the table would offer more table surface room, but the bar has hooks for bags.
I gave 4-stars because I have children, and there isn't a kids menu for a kid-friendly dining experience.
Visited 2 years ago
The staff and ambiance was good and all, however, the quality and taste of the food was questionable— especially considering its high cost point. I would recommend the spot for casual drinks, but you need a reservation to get in. Oh well.
Visited 2 years ago
Would give it 3.5 stars if I could. The concept is cool, but don’t think this is anything close to the original location. Staff was friendly and service was good, but it was just an overpriced instagram opportunity. The conveyer belt just has little figurines on it…they don’t really use it to serve you food. The thing that kind of surprised me was that there was no performance of any kind…just crazy decorations and 1 to 2 people in costumes.

Super fun experience. Currently they are offering their tasting menu, which is all of things you love about sushi combined with a kawaii aesthetic, and including the infamous conveyor belt. It's a small, boutique experience, and for those unfamiliar with kawaii or decora, it's as if Lisa Frank went to Japan and opened a sushi place. The lights are upside down lipstick tubes that glow. There are oversized neon cats spinning from the ceiling. Your hostess is rainbow-colored and dressed in sparkles. The service is admittedly a smidge slow, but they haven't been open even a month yet, and it is a tasting menu; if you want a quick meal, go somewhere else. All of the staff are incredibly nice and friendly and the people going are trendy, young, and fun. Full of fun surprises and really only for people who like raw fish, as there aren't other options. The owner/creator was there when I went, and if you don't know him, he is INFAMOUS! I'll be back with friends - it's cute and fun, and one of the few tasting menus in NYC under $100. Their sauces are AMAZING and you can even eat them with the dessert course! The alcoholic drinks are bright and tasty, but not saccharine sweet, so make sure to communicate your tastes with the bartender if you want something like that - my neighboring diners had that experience, not me, as I loved my 2 drinks.

Just came back from a really lovely dinner! Sit at the bar to enjoy the kawaii art coming down the conveyor belt and watch the bartender create really fun drinks! I'm a vegetarian and they were very accommodating! There are currently two dinner options, $85 and $95. They are small plates but a lot of food and I am stuffed! The staff is friendly af and we didn't feel rushed, even when we got caught up in conversation. Loved the matcha teani and the lychee cocktails.

SUSHIDELIC was such a unique experience. It’s impossible not to be happy at this restaurant. The bright colors, kawaii decor and conveyor belt are so creative and beautiful.
The food was incredible. Ingredients are so fresh, you can taste it in every bite. Additionally, the presentation of the food was masterful. Typical omakase leaves you wanting more, but I was so full from this tasting.
I will definitely be returning as they are soon bringing on an a la Carte menu.

the atmosphere is amazing and the artist did a great job with the decoration and sculptures. however, the food was bland and quite terrible. The chef is not at the same level as the artists (is there a chef?) so the sculptures and decoration set different expectations, and food was "meh". The portions were so small that it was impossible to try all the sauces. The flavor of things was quite null, and food didn't seem fresh. A lot of warm things that should be cold. I would never come back because food was so expensive to what we got. Would not recommend going, unfortunately. The menu choices was quite questionable as well. Will go again if they show who the chef is, and change the menu/quality.

Loved the place. I think it might do better a la cart over the fixed menu because it ended up being too much food. All the sauce pairing recommends were spot on and I loved everything except the tempura stuff.. got me sooo full! But amazing staff and really cute set up

This place will give you a super fun and delicious experience! I really loved the flavor and texture combinations in the 6 course meal with all the colorful sauces. It was the perfect amount of food to feel satisfied. The staff were all friendly and fun to talk to! The design of the space was super detailed and creative. The only thing I did not love was the intentional flickering lights, which were on brand for the psychedelic atmosphere, but a little disorienting. Would definitely come back to try the a la carte menu when it comes out!!

If you've ever wondered if chat GBT were prompted to create a restaurant that was Japanese inspired and instagrammable. Now you have your answer.
The service is great but the food is not. This place will need a lot of restructuring of the menu and understanding of the clientele before it's ready to open.
I am shocked at the prices considering that I pretty much could have just gotten sashimi take out at gourmet garage and had a better tasting dinner.
