Finally got to try this place and I'm so mad that it took me so long to eat here. The food is excellent! The sushi comes with a nice big piece of fish unlike some places where it's mostly rice. The service was also A++. Our waitress was very attentive checking in on us multiple times during our time there. I know some people get annoyed when a server hovers but, I'm not one of those people. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back.

I was craving some noodles one night very late and I did a quick search of late night Chinese or Japanese places and this came up. I had never heard of it so I decided to give it a try at around midnight, and boy was I upset that I had not found it sooner because this place is definitely a place you want to try. The sushi was delicious the noodles were equally delicious I did my order as take out but I'm looking forward to going and eating in this establishment.

The restaurant is Naruto themed, which is what brought us to come. There was Naruto art all around the walls and the menus were even scrolls.

We went around 7pm on a Thursday night and we were the only ones there the entire time. But the music and service were good and the food came out quick.

This is a very high quality Japanese restaurant. The fish is fresh and the sushi is delicious. We tried veggie fried rice and it was the best I’ve ever head. I would highly recommend their drinks and desserts as well. The place is open late and I highly recommend that you visit :)

What an amazing themed restaurant, Naruto. Love it. Art is amazing and the best food ever. Large portions and cooked perfect. Everything was so delicious 😋 and a very friendly staff. Highly recommended. I will be back many times.

4.5 stars. We noticed this new restaurant when we drove by yesterday as we looked for a place to have lunch. Unfortunately for us, they are closed for lunch and don't normally open until 4pm, so we made a point of coming back the next day for an early dinner.

The inside of the restaurant is a bit dark but each table is separated by large Japanese screens. The walls, interestingly enough, is decorated with characters from the Japanese anime, Naruto. The menu is quite extensive, and also very hard to read. Luckily, you can scan the QR code to read the menu and all the descriptions on your phone.

We ordered the chicken and shrimp teriyaki bento, beef teriyaki bento, fried spring rolls, volcano roll, and the black dragon roll.

The bentos were each served with shumai, california roll, vegetable tempura, white rice and miso soup. And both bento boxes were absolutely delicious! I loved that the shumai were steamed and then fried. The teriyaki sauce was a great balance of savory and sweet. And for $15-$17 they were well worth ordering. The fried Spring rolls were okay but I did appreciate that they came with four large pieces in one order.

The Volcano roll had spicy crunch tuna jalapeño inside wrapped in sliced avocadoes and topped with spicy mayo. I kind of wished it was spicier but it was really yummy nonetheless. The Black dragon roll had shrimp tempura and mango inside with sliced avocado and topped with eel sauce and sesame seeds. It was so good!

Then for dessert we got the mango mille crepe cake and vanilla mochi ice cream. The waiter was sweet enough to give us extra vanilla and strawberry mochi ice cream on the house.

Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner here. It is a little bit on the pricier side but the food is pretty good. And our waiter, Jason, was great. I wouldn't mind coming back again for those bentos.

Frequent this place often, as I work at the hospital nearby. Bag fell out of my hands as exiting the restaurant and soup spilled everywhere. After paying $6 for a severely over priced clear mushroom soup - they were unable to replace it for me and offered a 20% discount instead of just giving me a new one. Very disappointed.

Chakra was great for a super late sushi delivery craving. The Kani salad was a little meh, but the dumplings and rolls I ordered were all yummy. A little pricey, but as one would expect with the apps and their up charges. The Kurama Roll was my favorite! I'd definitely give them another try.

I've been here multiple times and always have a great time with Sophia. I especially enjoyed the sushi and the ramen soup. If you enjoy spicy food, I recommend trying the tonkatsu ramen. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Asian food

The food Is great, We ordered on Uber eats multiple times which Is what led us to dine here, I came here last night with my wife for the second time and unfortunately it would be my last time dining here, As both me and my wife agreed that the food Is good but the server Sophia Is very bad at respecting boundaries, she kept interrupting our conversations, asking the same question over 5 times "if everything Is alright?"
Another example Is when she asked if we were done eating even though there was plenty of food on our plates, Mind you the place was empty and the place doesn't close until 1am
Not only that I didn't ask for the check she threw it on the table and didn't let us finish our bubble tea, we felt rushed
And to top it off she charged me for 2 large bubble teas when I didn't ask for large. I usually tip 25% but I ended up only tipping 18 percent because of Sophia pestering us the whole night on our anniversary, the first time that we came here the service was laid back and phenomenal! The lady with the glasses and short hair was really nice, I wish she was there for our anniversary.
Overall I'm not even exaggerating this bad experience Sophia literally was right behind us the whole time we dined there, my drink wasnt even finished and shes asking me if I want more drinks and even grabbed it to check when it was more then half full, then she asked my wife if she wants saki or wine while she's pregnant.

The salmon avocado roll tasted oddly plain, which is something I don't usually experience. It might be because of the ripeness level of the avocado, but I'm not really sure.

My husband was in LOVE with the popcorn chicken.

It should be a crime that a tiny slice of matcha cheesecake was served for that price, because it was absolutely delicious. I wish more was given.

I like that this location is open late, but it is pretty far from me so I won't be ordering again. I was glad to experience it, thank you for the food!

Ordered their beef teriyaki. Their beef portion was tiny. Their onions were undercooked and was very pungent and didnt taste good with the teriyaki. The miso soup that came with it had no flavor. No salt. Bland. . Whoever made this dish should stay out of the kitchen. Don’t even serve your own family because I’d be concerned if this is what you eat on a daily basis.

Great environment, love all the Naruto themed things. Good atmosphere, and very nice people. I stopped by here with my partner for near years eve, and they welcomed me in late, let me eat and stay till 1:30 am. Such a great place. The rolls are great, very fresh - wonderfully prepared. You can tell the chefs, rollers and owner all know they are doing. I wish this place continued success and would highly recommend this to anyone reading this, even if your not a Naruto fan lol.

Used Uber Eats. Packaging was alright. Soy sauce came in packets and food portions were great. As for the seaweed salad, it tasted like the smell of cat food. I can’t think of any other way to describe it. Rolls were okay,I had a roll with crab and it tasted watery and when I bit into the roll it squired some liquids. Probably won’t be ordering from them again. I’ll be surprised if I don’t have explosive diarrhea tmmrw. Will update if I do

The high ratings are fake. The waitress / hostess will give a complimentary ice cream when customers gave 5 stars rating and excellent review. I am guilty of it cause I did the same to get the freebie but deleted the review afterwards.

I had a bad experience when I went to pick up my food. I called in for pickup for two ramens, saying that I will be there in 30 minutes to pick it up. When I arrived they said it’s not ready yet and told me to wait 10 min. I waited almost 20 minutes before getting my food. The was not busy during that time. The reason why I called for pickup is because I was in a rush. They start to make my order after I arrive into the store. I confused on what was the point of calling for pick up if they just going to start making my food when I get there. I want to give a zero star review but the lowest is 1 star.

Ordered delivery. After an hour of waiting, the food still had not arrived. By that point the restaurant was officially closed. It’s been another 40-minutes and still no food. Since they use their own delivery drivers Seamless can’t track the order so guess I’m SOL.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is amazing. My favorite sushi roll is the kuruma roll. It is a must every time, and of course paired with a mango or passion fruit jessmanie tea. The server Sophia is super friendly and attentive, she even remembers our order.

I stumbled upon this place after the gym one night and have been a reoccurring customer for the past 2 years. This place is a must visit! It's open till late, the food is top tier with so much variety on the menu and it's always freshly made! Sunni is the familiar face as she djs, takes orders, handles takeouts and is utterly amazing! Brought my family to experience their unique rolls tonight. All great suggestions by Sofia, service by her was impeccable, she's super helpful, swift with the order yet kind and professional. Came here for dinner with some friends… food was great! And the service was really nice. We came in and a lady gave us a table very fast, she gave us some water and explained the menu, I tried the miso ramen and it was delicious. Definitely loved the Naruto theme and once again attention and food was very good. 5 stars for sure! Definitely come here.

Absolutely disgusting establishment. Overcharged us and food was spoiled. Actually spat it out in fear of getting food poisoning. Host was rude and unhelpful. Totally disgusting place and people... the server offered us bogo Kani Salad but when the check arrived they charged us for both. They said the promo ended at midnight. We sat down at 11 when the promo was running but since we got our check after midnight and the promo expired at midnight they charged us for 2. They wouldn't fix the bill. We left and didn't tip. Gross.

Go to the restaurant, sit down, enjoy it a few times, and then judge... The food is good, however the problem is with the waitress who demands a 20% tip even when I paid tip in cash and tip amount was fair for the service. She will count the money in front of you and if she’s not happy, she will demand more money. Even when upon giving her 18%, she continued to ask if there was a problem with her service. While the service was decent, it was very offputting at the end after that she demanded a higher tip, which is voluntary. I requested to speak with the manager and to no surprise she said, “manager is not here”. This employee definitely needs a lesson on tipping class 101 because she has no clue. She was very confrontational and simply rude. Like I said at the beginning of writing this, food here at Chakra is good!! We ate here early Friday evening (3/24/23) and unfortunately it will be our last. As long as she’s working in that place I will not be going back.

The wait time for customers who are eating out is tremendous wait and the front lady tends to ignore you as try and ask her to place an order and ignores you as you ask for the wait time 20mins to place order( couple after me seated and food recieved before me) . 20 mins for food turned to 45 mins and then the back end worker said 10 more mins , customer service is horrible. I was introducted to Chakra by a friend last year and I really like the place. The location is on the other side of Main Street (closer to the highway opposite of downtown Flushing).

The restaurant serves fusion Japanese food like the name suggests and has a very cool theme to it. Anyone who is a fan of the Japanese anime Naruto will love the place just for the decor. But they also have great food as well!

The menu itself (in keeping with the theme of the restaurant is a large scroll you literally have to untie and it covers most of the table. This place offers a large variety of rolls that I have not seen at other places. Regular and specialty thrown into the mix along with food options like ramen and rice dishes will have you scratching your head at what to order.

The specialty rolls I recommend are

Chakra - lobster tail tempura, mango, seared toro, eel sauce, scallion and tobiko.

Kakashi - spicy lobster, asparagus, jalapeno, filet minon, eel sauce, yuzu mayo, scallion and sesame seed

Sasuke - spicy real snow crab, jalapeno, mango, king salmon, gold flakes

My favorite apps include the Peking Duck Negimaki (have not seen that anywhere else) as well as the Green balls (funny name but very good dish).

If you want a nice rice dish, their salmon and chicken teriyaki always hit the spot for me.

They have dessert options like mango and green tea cheescakes and if are an alcohol connoisseur you will like that they have options for premium sake as well as soju and beer to pair with your food.

You would get the best dining experience eating in as all the dishes and sake would be made fresh. They do a good amount of take out business that I noticed each time I ate there but it should be known that if you have food sitinng in a container it will not appear as fresh. Please keep that in mind before anyone says a bad word about the business.

The employees all work very hard to meet the demands of the customer. Whenever i dine in or take my friends they have a good time here.

Chakra is a Japanese fusion restaurant that has a particular theme, for those that love anime and more specifically Naruto, I bet you will be in your heaven seeing the different pictures and decorations that the restaurant had about this anime.

I came here with a friend and we share a few apps.

Pork Gyoza Japanese-style pan-fried dumplings that come in six pieces. The taste was pretty tender and it was filled with meat the dumplings had a good taste a good option to start the night.

Phoenix Roll Shrimp tempura and cucumber inside topped with spicy Kani and spicy mayo. Super crunchy and a bit spicy you could taste the shrimp on it, I can recommend having it.

For my main course, I had Chicken, Beef, and Egg Fried Rice. The Fried Rice was very good, the rice was perfectly cooked is so delicious and the portion was very generous, the amounts of proteins were enough to feed one or maybe two persons.

The staff is very friendly and generously gave us complimentary dessert with had a good taste.

Ordered the chakra tempura and they gave us chicken tempura. This was a huge disappointment because I don’t eat chicken. The word “chakra” doesnt even look like the word “chicken”- it’s literally the name of the restaurant. There wasn’t even a way to rectify the situation because Uber eats doesn’t do anything about it, so I’m just out the money and won’t be back to this restaurant. The kurama roll/phoenix roll was way too salty too. Such a shame because on the car ride home with our pick up order my husband and I were already talking about going again due to the cool interior design, but after they seriously messed up my order I don’t think we will be back.

The atmosphere and food was splendid. If you are a fan of Naruto, this place will make you feel like a kid again (for those of you who are adults) with all the posters and decor relevant to the anime. They open past midnight which is very convenient for the night owls out there. The Kani salad was quite unique and delicious in that it comes with mango strands. The popcorn chicken was also one of the best I've tasted with the perfect blend of seasoning.

What an awesome spot to grab some sushi and sashimi. Rolls are so good but the sushi and sashimi are fresh and well prepared. The presentation was top knotch and creative. Service was also great! We had Sophie and she was fun and attentive! Made our experience here so nice and enjoyable! We are definitely coming back! It's so close to our home just a quick ride on the Q88 and you're there. Parking on Main St isn't always easy so I would suggest taking the bus if you're local its a few feet from the Q88 stop on Main St & Horace Harding Expwy. Definitely recommend!

Horrible restaurant and bad service. I spent $70 on a delivery order that never came after waiting for an hour. Hostess lied to me about a conveniently "broken computer" during the time I placed my order, told me to calm down multiple times, and then proceeded to hang up on me. My money was not given back to me. Do not order here.

Terrible. I never leave google reviews but this restaurant is just so bad that I have to warn people. The chicken wings and takoyaki are below mediocre, and the fried calamari is the worst calamari I've ever eaten in my life, very tough, feels like it's not freshly made. The chakra milk bubble tea partly tastes like a normal bubble tea, but also tastes like dish soap. Will never order from here again.

I had take out in the winter, the sushi was a bit off... I thought it was because the cooked food was packed with the sushi and I didn't eat it right away (had to drive home first). So I decided to dine-in to see if it would make a difference. Unfortunately, that didn't make the sushi better. When tuna starts changing colors that should definitely be cooked thoroughly so people wouldn't get sick. I also ordered sashimi, the slices were sushi thin; sashimi is supposed to be slightly thicker cut than the fish you get on a piece of rice (sushi).
The fried foods were clean (no stale oil flavor). The udon was a bit over cooked (started getting mushy). The Ramen was a good size and aldented, but you need to ask for the spices, sadly there was no Naruto fishcake slices in the Ramen. The Naruto decor is nice, but if that's the only thing that rings out Naruto, that's not a theme. I had their Naruto roll, it had salmon, tuna, yellow tail and imitation crab meat wrapped in cucumber... maybe the fish colors were too faded because they were the freshest that they should be, but the dish didn't ring out Naruto.
Three of the four people I dined with got the runs, most likely from the raw sushi and sashimi.
I gave the place 2 stars because it has the authentic Japanese hole in the wall feel and their Ramen and cooked food was on par to American diner standards (minimal seasoning).
If I come back to this place most likely it would be for the Ramen. I think they could make it Naruto themed with a fresh hand made noodle chef. After all that is all Naruto ate.
Recommend you skip the raw items. Eat safe, stay healthy.

I would stick to the cooked dishes, I think the special rolls were decent but the raw fish was definitely a bit off. It was edible but not fresh and you can easily tell just by looking at the color and smell. For example, yes, tuna can be dark red but this one had shades of brown, which can of course be caused by oxidation but also due to loss of water from it being old. Not only that, it was served at room temperature, which makes sense why the color would be like that. It was kinda hard to finish the sushi so I'd recommend sticking to the special rolls and cooked dishes.

Just ordered from restaurant for the first time. I may give this place another shot but not sure. I tried to kaskashi, Itachi and Sasuke roll. In all honesty, without trying to be rude or disrespectful to any of the chefs, I just didn’t enjoy the rolls as I have hoped. The food wasn’t as tasty as other sushi restaurants I’ve tried in the area. Maybe I just ordered at a bad time because I ordered late at night on a Sunday. I ordered Uber eats but maybe I’ll go in person and try some of the other food. There are other good places in the queens area that would be my first option over chakra Japanese fusion as of now. But I’m never against giving a place a second shot.

Have a dinner with a friend. The food is delicious, especially the Soba I ordered. My friend ate two dishes of Chicken Soba. The menu is very attractive and special, like a scroll to open it up. The experience is great and the service is wonderful as well.

Dine in experience is fine, cool naruto themed restaurant with a in-house dj playing music. It's the food that Is problematic. Outside of their sushi almost everything is mediocre. I ordered takoyaki, it was deep-fried. I have ordered take out from this location 5+ times now and each and every single time the order is wrong. Only selling point about this place is that their open late, otherwise food is not great.

This is the NASTIEST food I’ve ever had. I couldn’t even eat the salmon inside my roll because it was so chewy and hard!! I tried to give it another chance.. as soon as i took a bite, the fish was stringy. The shumai was stale and cold. The seaweed salad was OK, but it had a sour taste. Disappointed I spent my money here. According to the other reviews you guys have a consistent problem with raw fish. You should be ashamed to call yourself a sushi place when the food is this gross. I’ve had better sushi from the grocery store.

Good spot for Japanese Cuisine if you don't want to travel further into the busier part of Flushing. I usually get Spicy Tonketsu Ramen. The place is a bit on the pricier side so it might not attract anyone with a light wallet but don't let that stop you from checking it out. I still enjoy the food here. Support local restaurants. O yes. The place is Naruto themed for the anime fans out there.

This Naruto themed Japanese restaurant was fun. The
food was fine. This restaurant offers a Naruto themed
rolls and other Japanese eateries. Their menu comes in a
scroll too! We got to try the sasuke roll, chakra roll, crazy
tuna roll, and triple s roll. My favorite is the chakra roll.
Sasuke roll was fun with the gold flakes. The Chakra
Peking Duck was really good and creative too. Their bento
boxes didn't really reach my expectations, I would stick
with their rolls next time I come.

The food was okay. Ramen was lukewarm and had no seasoning on the pork. The service was a 1 star review. Came for dinner. They forgot multiple items that we ordered as well as never paid attention to the tables needs. Waited over an hour for bubble tea and dessert. It never came and needed to be taken off the bill.

They took forever to bring my brothers sake when he order it the same time we ordered our bev, took forever to bring my brothers dessert and boba to a point where he didn’t even want it anymore, and overall it just wasn’t the best. Sucks bc the place seems really dope, you just need to improve on your employee pace and customer interaction.

Chakras is a great ramen place in the heart of flushing! The best part is this spot is open late until around 2am! They have music playing via a DJ, and the entire restaurant is Naruto themed! They have a bar area with a tv as well as individual private tables. I had the Spicy Miso ramen with chicken (instead of pork, shout out to the staff for accommodating), as well as the Fantastic sushi roll which contained salmon avocado spicy tuna and spicy yellowtail. I had the green grape soju, and an ice cold Asahi beer! The service was fantastic and I absolutely recommend this restaurant to ramen / Asian fusion fans!
