I personally love their Branzino, Spicy Tuna Rice Cakes, Pastas and Crudo. Their cocktails are also very unique in flavor and presentation. Always a great time here plus excellent service!

I'm not sure if it was a off night or has the quality really degraded over time. I enjoyed my first here about a year or so ago so decided to try it again for my bday. Unfortunately this visit was very disappointing. The drinks were good and the ambience is always lovely. However everything else went down hill. For starters we got the wagyu bacon which was just a slab of fat. It made our stomach hurt as it was a greasy slab of fat. Then we got the Cesar salad. The presentation was cute however the dressing was more of a lemon vinaigrette flavor vs a Cesar. Then for mains we got the butternut squash angolotti which was good. We also shared the branzino for two. The fish was rather bland it comes with like a butter cream sauce but overall it wasn't too fresh tasting of a fish so didn't help. For sides we got the truffle spinach and mash potatoes those were ok too. We were quite disappointed to find everything is pre made as when we asked if we can have the spinach without truffle the server said oh the batch is already pre made. Also there were little nats flying around the entire time. Then for desserts we tried the pumpkin cheesecake which didn't taste fresh nor did it taste like cheesecake. And the flourless smores which was just to overpowering and sweet it's different then what the square they had before which I preferred. Now it's an overly sweet chocolate mousse circle bomb I ended up tossing it out. Poor birthday experience there (photos from my first & most recent visit)

The Email that management ignored after spending $2000+ is so unprofessional. Will not be patronizing this establishment ever again…..0/10 Highy DON’T recommend

Dear Management I wish to complain about Olivia Nowak who is currently a member of your staff in charger of events.

I am complaining because I signed a contract for a four course meal and desert for a Party of thirteen people. This very special event was scheduled to occur on 11/3/24. As my night at your establishment began to come to an end the waiter pulled me aside to notify me that she is unable to serve our group dessert because she was informed by the chef that all of the desserts are made with pork gelatin. The waiter proceeded to advise me that she can take the soft drinks off the bill ($40-50) and provide the table with shaved ice/sorbet (declined because no one eats that) FYI we were expecting BLU’s Tiramisu, Classic Carrot Cake, and Strawberry Profiteroles. I advised her that the monetary compensation would be appropriate but I would like to know how this could happen when the event planner was notified this group didn’t eat pork. The waiter stated she would get her manager. As my party guest are mingling taking pictures and still enjoying our moment the manager who I later found out was Olivia walks up in a hostile condescending tone stating she was never notified of any restrictions “I don’t want to go back and forth I’ll take the drinks off and we’ll call it a night”. Not once did she apologize and she continued to speak about the bill which was never the issue. It was very insulting to my guest which consisted of doctors, nurses, lawyers, and entrepreneurs. She was told in an email which will be an attachment to this email that this group does not eat pork on 10/3/2024. A whole month before the event. The fact that the waiter and chef had more consideration and customer service than the event planner is completely and utterly unacceptable. For future reference those ingredients should be apart of the event menu and/or lead event staff should be properly trained on how to accommodate guests with food restrictions. Being dismissive and unapologetic was very disappointing. My night was ruined as I had to leave your establishment not being able to sing Happy Birthday and have dessert was very upsetting for me and my guest. (It wasn’t about the money until she made it about the money) not realizing that the contract was breached when I didn’t get what I paid for. To resolve this problem I would appreciate a reimbursement for my birthday dinner as the contract was based on a four course dinner and dessert. Furthermore I would appreciate a formal apology which I did not receive from the event manager Olivia Nowak. I would like a written statement explaining your company's position and what you will do about my complaint.

I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible to resolve this problem. If I do not hear from you within 7 days I will file complaints with the appropriate consumer agencies and consider my legal alternatives. I am enclosing copies of my receipt. The oysters we ordered as an appetizer were so fresh and delicious, and our server, David, was incredibly kind, which made my sister’s birthday even more special.

The places is nice ! But! I recently visited and had a very disappointing experience. The shrimp in my dish was far from fresh—it had a stringy texture and a bad smell, like it had been sitting out for hours and was starting to spoil.

Serving food in this condition is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the restaurant’s handling and freshness of ingredients. I urge the management to take immediate action to ensure higher standards of food quality and hygiene. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

Went here to celebrate my husband Birthday. The service was okay, drove almost 2 hrs to get there even leaving home earlier, we ended up in a little traffic. I called the restaurant to tell them we were 2 miles out ans would still be late, she adjusted the reservation time by 15 mins but said we missed the grace period we may have to wait an hour to be seated because it was busy. Only to arrive the restaurant was not even close to being full. The food was just okay, there was nothing spectacular about it. I had the lobster Fra Diavlo , and my husband had a steak. Our waitress was nice and the ambiance is nice. Will I visit again maybe but nothing to rush back for.

I’m going to start off this review by saying that we travel all over NYC & NJ to try elite steaks and Blu on the Hudson falls short compared to their competitors. We ordered their most expensive steak the wagyu tomahawk priced at priced at $210 so we clearly came to spend money and give this place an honest chance. The place is beautiful and the ambiance is great but with that being said this is sadly just another spot that relies on their location and scenery to carry them in this business. I ordered 2 of the French 69 “tableside cocktails” and neither time was it prepared table side. We order the Lincoln harbor roll which was average for sushi. For dinner we order the truffle cacio e Pepe which was delicious but then our meal took a turn for the worst once the steak arrived. We ordered the wagyu tomahawk with the truffle butter and the whipped potatoes. We sent the Tomahawk back the first time because it was undercooked. We had asked for medium, and it was clearly medium rare. In most cases at that point a manager would come out to see if anything else could be done. When the steak was served again it was then overcooked well done. They had ruined the steak. We told the waiter that we were expecting the Wagyu melting your mouth taste, and the steak truly fell short of what we wanted. Instead of offering something else or to have the manager come speak with us she just apologized and took the steak away. She told us if she knew we were steak reviewers should would’ve been more attentive and offered us a different cut. We were still hungry, we were not offered dessert and the specials of the evening were never read to us. It seems this place judges people and tries to cater to people who they think are going to spend money not knowing who will truly be spending actually money. Lesson to the waiter to never judge a book by the cover. Our experience here was far lower quality than that of other local restaurants. This is a great spot for drinks, but if you’re truly looking for a wonderful dinner, I would recommend just taking the extra drive into the city and going to Benjamin Prime, Catch Steak , CUT by Wolfgang, Quality Meats or Gallaghers. If you’re looking to stay in NJ Hudson and Co or Lokal are always great.

"I just had dinner at this restaurant last night. I've been to this restaurant twice before, and I was very impressed the first time. However, this time I was very disappointed.

1. First, I was disappointed because I ordered an entry and a main course for my husband, which was a skirt steak, along with rice and French fries. We only received the steak, and by the time we finished the steak, the French fries were served half an hour later. They also forgot to serve the rice. I felt really bad; we thought we would get to eat the steak with the fries together.

2. I ordered lobster spaghetti, intending to take a picture and only eat a little bit. Everything on the plate looked beautiful, just like when it was first served. I asked the staff to pack it up for me to take home, but they packed it like leftover food from another table, just scraps of lobster and noodles that looked mushy, like leftover food. I thought I would get the whole lobster back home because I hadn’t even touched the lobster. I was very disappointed with this restaurant.

3. The valet driver scratched the side of our BMW against the curb. I am really disappointed with the service here; it is very different from the first time we came."

I've given this place multiple chances because the location is truly amazing, but it continues to disappoint. While the drinks are good and the staff is friendly, the food leaves much to be desired. The current chef seems to lack the expertise needed to deliver dishes worthy of the premium prices. It's unreasonable to expect customers to pay such high prices just for the view and drinks while serving food that feels like 2-star quality. This place has potential, but a better chef could make all the difference.

I wish I could give this so called "upscale" restaurant 0 stars. Upon arrival, the place was obnoxiously loud, I wouldn't even hear my boyfriend who was right next to me. We had a reservation, and we were told our wait was "just a few minutes." "Just a few minutes" turned into us waiting an hour for the table. The hostess' did not greet us with a warm attitude either. The whole place seemed just very unorganized. It seems like a restaurant that is trying to sell itself as "upscale", but really it is just a expensive "trendy" restaurant. Please save yourself the time and money and go across the street to the ChartHouse, where the ambiance, food, views, and service are outstanding!!

It's a pretty place, but it's nothing special! The service was awful! We had a reservation at 8! After waiting almost 40 minutes, we asked the grumpy server if we could sit at the bar. We found a spot. The bartenders were having a horrible night, fighting with each other! I know things happen sometimes, but it was our first time there. We live a few blocks away and were hoping this would be a great place. Disappointed. Maybe we will give this place a second chance.

Ummmm... I have no complaints. I went recently for my birthday. I usually give 4 stars for great reviews, leaving room for improvement but I just couldn't in this instance. My cousin ran late, so I sat at the spacious bar; had a drink and oysters while I waited. The oysters were super fresh. Fast forward to my porterhouse steak which was exactly how waitress said it would be. The charred broccoli was delish and so was the cream of spinach..truffle fries...kale salad...sushi roll and rice cake 🤔. Nope, I dont think I left anything out. My drink was good as well. I will definitely be back...it's a must try. If it's date night it'll def leave a great impression.

I had an incredible experience at this bar, and I can't say enough about the fantastic staff, I was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about their wine selection. They expertly guided me through some excellent pairings that elevated my entire dining experience.

The sushi was nothing short of excellent, but the standout dish for me was the spicy tuna crispy rice. It was simply outstanding—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice and crunch.

I had the pleasure of being served by Camila, who was a true gem. Her expertise and great demeanor made my visit even more enjoyable. She answered all my questions and made thoughtful recommendations that I truly appreciated.

I recently helped a friend plan a surprise engagement party at Blu. We rented a private room, and it should go without saying that I would highly recommend this place. I worked alongside Jenna (Director of Sales & Events), who was incredibly helpful, from logistics to food choices to decor and everything in between. The staff was so attentive, which allowed for the best surprise! Not to mention, the food is incredible (I have been there a couple of times, and it never disappoints). Would highly recommend hosting an event there.

We made a reservation for Thanksgiving lunch here. Our table was ready upon arrival. I had a fantastic first impression of the restaurant. Really gorgeous, upscale, beautiful interior. The reception area almost felt like a lobby of a 5 star hotel. Lots of staff, even on Thanksgiving day, making sure guests are having a good time. There’s a very large bar as well.

We started with calamari, shrimp cocktail and lobster bisque. For entree we had shrimp tempura roll, bronzino, pasta, and A5 wagyu steak. Finally for dessert we had the chocolate s’more, pumpkin cake and the classic carrot cake. All the dishes were top notch. The wagyu had so much rich fat in it. Cakes were delicious.

Service was amazing here. Our server Patrick was super nice and helpful. Throughout the dining, they constantly checked on us, took out empty plates and packed our leftovers. Food also came out pretty quickly, no delays. I was very impressed with everything here, will return for sure.

They have valet parking for $15. Public parking lot is available at the end of the block, 2-3 minutes walk away.

My husband and I were so excited about this place. It looked so good, and the photos looked beautiful. And I must say the place was beautiful and the serves was amazing. The workers were nice and polite and professional. However, that's where our good experience ends.

The restaurant was very, and I do mean very dimly lit. Where we were sitted, it was difficult to read the menu. Our moms needed to use the flash light on their phones, even though our table was under a ceiling light. The music was so loud that I felt the need to scream at the people across our small table to be heard. In addition, the workers use the same bathroom as the customers. I found this to be weird, especially for an upscale place such as this. They are also co-ed bathroom. None of which I would have bothered to mention, except for the fact that while I was waiting for my turn, a male employee had been the one to use it before me, who had disgustedly peed all over the toilet seat, that I had to clean in order to use it. This should definitely be added to the "Employees must wash their hands" sign: "Employees must also clean up after themselves," especially if it's a shared bathroom like this. I basically paid them an obscene amount of money that night to clean their toilet. After all this, this wasn't the worst part. The most disappointing part of the whole night was the food.

It was just bad. Everything we got, that was fried, either was soggy or had that old oil taste. The sauces and dressing on certain items like the salad and nori Toco was overpowering. And what I found to be the biggest problem was that everything we ate was extremely salty. I couldn't even finish my plate, which was not a big portion to begin with. Even the desert was disappointing. We ordered a tiramisu, although it was beautiful with a nice presentation, the actual desert was bland and only tasted of cream. Just cream. The teas were bland despite smelling nice and the decaf expresso was watery and bland.

For what they claimed to be a high price fancy restaurant, the food was terrible. Our bill was about $500 for four people for the worst food we have ever eaten. I expected more, especially for what they charged. In the end, it was overpriced for lackluster food; things I wouldn't pay 40 dollars for. ( For those who are curious: this was the baseline price, without all the caviar addition or the added shaved truffle. This place was so stingy that the barrata we ordered came with a side of bread, which we assumed was included. Nope, I was charged extra for it, despite not being told so. In addition to the mediocre food, everything was ridiculously upcharged: there was a bottle of wine, I am very familiar with, bc it's my favorite. In stores its 20 dollars ; there, they were charging 70. )

Save your money and go somewhere else. We definitely plan to.

What an amazing place they opened in Weehawken NJ I highly recommend the wagyu skirt steak, you will NOT regret it, the Burrata I think it had some sliced chorizo to die for and the octopus was really delicious as well.

Drinks and cocktails are amazing, the place looks super fancy but the prices are very accesible, they have valet parking ($10) and get ready for a good night out!

This place SUCKED!!! We came for my aunts bday and the service was just so bad I will never come back here again. We checked in for our reservation at 9:10 and had to wait till 9:35 for our table to get ready. The waiter came by at 10 to ask us if we wanted water, came back at 10:20 to ask us for what drinks we wanted (we also ordered apps and food bc we were not sure when he would come back lmao) and then we were just sitting there till 11:15 which is when the food and drinks all came. Finally finished everything by 11:45 and it took them 25 minutes to get the check. On the check, they raised the price of each of the menu items by a few dollars (maybe the prices were outdated on the menu) and they also charged us for extra items that we didn’t even order. Scumbag restaurant didn’t even give us a proper refund and apology. The food was ok but goddamn the service sucked

We had a group party there last night and was very disappointed. Disappointed about not getting what you pay for when you doing these group parties. First of all there is a 3% admission fee that get tagged on your receipt. Then the amount of money you paid for doesn't equalized to the portion of food you will get. So my advice to anyone when doing a party their don't take their fixed menu. You would be better off spltting your party into normal size ,Order from the menu as much as you could you still would come out better and don't have to stop at Wendy,s afterwards .because their meal portions are way way to small when u do groups comparing to when u just order.

I don’t usually write reviews but this restaurant definitely deserves one. My fiancé and I drove a little more than an hour to eat here after many recommendations from friends and it did not disappoint. From someone who has been in the restaurant industry for the past ten years, this place knocked it out of the park. From the warm greeting by the hostess to the excellent service from our server Trevor, this place was amazing. The ambiance was enough to bring me back, let alone the phenomenal food and drinks. This was by far one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a while. I couldn’t wait to get home to share my experience and I will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that’ll listen. 10/10!!

Looking for a bland/mediocre meal with confusing atmosphere and decor? Look no further than the Blu on the Hudson.

This place is likely bleeding money considering how expensive the food is to make up for it's real estate, electricity, and staff. It tries so hard to want to be a fine dining experience but it feels like it's having a personality disorder. Does it want to be a lounge, a club, a cafe? Who the hell knows.

The food wasn't great for the price at all. As it should be amazing considering the amount being spent. Very underwhelming.

My opinion may be biased as I have been going to Charthouse for a while and decided to give this place a shot and boy oh boy, was I in for a surprise. Save yourself and go to Charthouse instead.

I am placing my bets now this place won't be around in the next few years, good luck!

I've been twice – won't go again.

It's a huge, impressive,stylish place - not cheap to run.

The first time was average, though not enough to put me off.

Service wasn't great – difficult to get served at the bar – so I snared a passing server and asked him what I had to do to get served.

To his credit, he caught the attention of one of the bar staff and told them I wanted serving.

In the circumstances, I doubled up my order, drank up and left.

I gave it another go another night.

It was some 25 minutes until the bar shut, so again, I ordered two bottles at the same time.

The bartender said I could pay for both bottles but only have one drink in front of me at a time.

I recently visited this restaurant and was disappointed by how I was treated. I had a reservation at 9:15 PM (the restaurant closes at 11 PM). I received a call earlier in the day emphasizing that I had to be on time, or I wouldn't be seated. This seemed unusual as most places are more lenient, especially when there's still plenty of time before closing.

During the call, the manager also mentioned the dress code, which I made sure to follow meticulously. She specified no ripped pants, athletic wear, caps, or revealing outfits. My boyfriend and I arrived dressed accordingly, only to be scrutinized by security as soon as we walked in. The guard insisted on getting a manager because he said I looked "too authentic." I was wearing a simple black two-piece outfit—nothing out of the ordinary.

The manager then confirmed that my attire was appropriate but claimed that my boyfriend’s shirt had “too many graphics,” even though we were never told that solid colors were required. This was frustrating because it felt as if the rules were being applied inconsistently.

What stood out most was that we noticed other guests who were not dressed according to the so-called dress code. We saw someone in nurse scrubs and running shoes walk out without issue, which made us question whether the standards were being applied fairly. I couldn’t help but feel that we were judged based on appearances rather than attire, and I believe it had to do with the fact that we’re African American.

I’ve dined at many high-end establishments and have never experienced this level of discrimination. As a local business owner and community member, I expected to be treated with more respect. I hope the restaurant considers revisiting their policies and training staff to ensure all customers are treated fairly and equally.

Honestly the food compared to the cost and atmosphere was very much a let down.

Wagyu was not wagyu, truffle fries barely had any truffle, and the sides were overall bad.

The thick cut wagyu bacon tasted like someone had slapped a hot dog on a grill and put BBQ sauce all over it.

I don’t know if it was the chefs just rushing out food, or if this place is overrated. All I know is I’ve been to hundreds of restaurants within this class and even they have come out with a lot more satisfaction in food.

Would not go again, this place in my opinion is overrated. I honestly would’ve rather ordered McDonald’s, brought the food in, and ate there just for the atmosphere.

With all the food options there you’re better off going to chart house across the street or Ruth’s Chris.

We recently dined at Blu on the Hudson, and while our waiter was attentive and friendly, the overall experience was dampened by the rude and dismissive attitude of the manager. We felt unwelcome, and it seemed as though the manager was outright disgusted by us, which left a very negative impression.
As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed bag. The appetizers were mediocre and didn’t quite meet our expectations. However, the entrées and sides were absolutely delicious, and they were definitely the highlight of the meal.
In summary, the food quality was mostly good, but the unpleasant interaction with the management made the experience less enjoyable. We hope that future visits might see improvements in the way customers are treated.

Was very excited to take my wife to this restaurant for her birthday as she was really excited to try the food. Waiter was nice but didn’t come to our table as often as we wanted refillls on drinks. We recently visited Blu on the Hudson to celebrate our friends anniversary, and while the evening had its highlights, there were also some notable disappointments. The restaurant offers valet service, which was convenient and reasonably priced at $10, so no complaints there.

Upon arrival, the hostess greeted us, though our table wasn't immediately ready, and we had to wait over 10 minutes. During this wait, we noticed that parties of equal size (4 people) or even larger, who arrived after us, were being seated before us. This added to the frustration, especially considering that we were there to celebrate a special occasion.

When we were finally seated, despite mentioning our anniversary, we were led to a less-than-ideal spot. Instead of being placed in the main section of the restaurant, where the energy and ambiance are, we were taken to a booth tucked away in the back left area of the restaurant, near a glass door in a poorly lit area. This section was isolated, and frankly, it wasn't where anyone would want to be seated, especially for an anniversary. We immediately requested to be moved, and while the second table was an improvement, it was still by the kitchen rail and lacked proper lighting.

What was particularly concerning was that we noticed other Black couples also requesting different tables after being initially seated in similar, less desirable spots. It felt like we were being deliberately placed away from the main areas, and after reading other reviews, it seems this isn't an isolated incident. I wouldn't go as far as to say it was a racially motivated seating choice, but it certainly gave that vibe. This is definitely something the restaurant needs to work on, as it left us feeling less than welcomed.

As for the dining experience, the ambiance and aesthetic of the restaurant are undeniably impressive, earning a solid 9/10. We ordered several appetizers: shrimp, octopus, calamari, and rice cakes. The shrimp, served with toasted bread, was the highlight--a perfect 10/10. The calamari and rice cakes were good, deserving of an 8/10, but the octopus was just average, rating around a 5/10.

The drinks were visually appealing but were mostly ice with small portions, making them not worth the price, despite tasting good. For our main courses, we had the lobster pasta, which was well-presented and tasted good. My partner ordered the wagyu skirt steak, which was good but disappointingly small.

Overall, Blu on the Hudson provided an average experience. The food was decent, and the vibe was great, but the seating situation, inconsistent service, and lack of warmth were significant downsides. It's a nice place to visit, but if you're celebrating something special, you might want to ensure you're seated in the heart of the restaurant to fully enjoy the experience.

Blu is our new favorite restaurant in NJ. We went as a couple celebrating a birthday on a Saturday night. The crowd is elegant with many people celebrating special occasions. We sat outside on the patio which was comfortable and not cramped. The drinks were spectacular, highly recommend splitting a bottle of wine from their now award winning wine list (frenzy was a great white wine). The sushi in particular was so fresh and a must have for us on future trips. Our server did an excellent job and didn’t rush our celebratory night! We ended the night with lattes which were surprisingly good. Can’t wait to go back and grab a drink at the bar which features a dj on the weekends. I went to Blu on the Hudson for a Saturday Brunch. I enjoyed the food and the ambiance. This restaurant is so gorgeous on the inside and on the outside. There is a beautiful floral arch with a comfy seat, great for capturing pictures. As soon as you walk in, you will be blown away with the design. It's so modern and chic, very upscale, great for brunch, lunch, or a romantic dinner for two. It was a great place to have date night. This restaurant is so stunning. Restaurants that look this stunning makes wanting to dine it worthwhile. My waiter Miguel was so friendly. He greeted us and checked in on us several times. Asked if we needed anything else. He was very attentive to us. Great customer service. Now, as breathtaking as the restaurant is the food was amazing. I had the ricotta stuffed pancakes, blueberry compote, and a side of chicken sausage. So delicious. The pancakes were so good that I wanted to savor every bite. My friend had the strawberry pancakes with strawberry compote and a side of bacon. The bacon was cooked perfectly, not too crispy and not full of fat. My other friend had the crispy chicken sandwich on a brioche bun with waffle fries. Talk about a perfectly cooked piece of chicken. She enjoyed every bite. My other friend has the rice cakes. The worst restaurant on the Hudson. I don’t even know where to begin. I have been to every restaurant on the Hudson and I get it, it’s expensive. But at least theres some sort of value and not overly overpriced. This restaurant is the complete opposite, the food is low quality, overpriced, and small portions. I ordered the bluefin tuna tartare and I gagged because of how fishy it tastes. It was not fresh and defrosted improperly. I knew something was wrong when the server paused when I ordered it. They sell you garbage and put a gold sticker on it. I had the displeasure of ordering the Skirt steak. It came pre-sliced into maybe 8 small pieces and the plate was scolding hot, meaning they cooked it in the microwave. Boy was I right, the steak was low quality and rubbery. The Truffle fries are terrible, the fries are overcooked to the point where you bite, it falls apart like a pita chip. The Lobster pasta was terrible!! It’s like they stuff the lobster shell with small portions of meat and then reuse the shell on the next dish. The food is not even matching their prices, not even 30%!!!!!! They promised me a seat by the window and that the view would be great. Their building is not even built to view the water. What an embarrassment of an establishment. Went for our anniversary dinner. Great resteraunt and host.
Tuna tartare was great, subtle flavours that did not over power the tuna. The cavier on top was a nice touch.
Wife got the lobster pasta, sauce was delicious with a hint of spice. Pasta al dente. Lobster cooked to pefection.

I ordered the filet with side of creamy spinach. The spinnach had a rich decadance with the truffle. The filet, salt and peppered and had a magnificant crust.

Cocktail menu had pictures as well. Great time, with a view.

My fiancé and I went to Blu on the Hudson for the first-time last night for his birthday. We live in Hoboken and the walk along the water to the restaurant was incredible. We were immediately greeted by a gentleman at the door who opened the door and welcomed us. We got drinks, apps, and entrees and each thing that came out was just unbelievable. If the food and drinks weren't enough to bring us back it was the wait staff (Brandon in particular). I CANNOT RAVE ABOUT OUR WAITOR BRANDON ENOUGH. He brought our night to the next level! He was so insightful and engaging (but not at all in an interrupting way). He gave his favorite recommendations and was absolutely spot-on with everything he said! It was such an amazing night, and we will absolutely be making our way back soon!

It was my birthday dinner. Nice experience overall...the server was pleasant and attentive. I had the Prime Delmonico, medium, flavorful and juicy. I prefer real potatoes for my mash potatoes, but the whipped potatoes were instant, eh ok. However, I absolutely loved the cream of spinach. My only negative was the cocktail. If I wanted a mocktail, that's what I would have ordered. We didn't waste our time reordering drinking.

Upon walk in Managers were not welcoming. A simple “ Welcome Guys” would be nice.. Our Server named Mark ( if I can remember his name) was great! His attention to my table was spot on, his energy was unmatched and he really made the experience memorable for us.

The Food- The whole crispy Branzino for two 5.5/10. Fish/Batter lacked flavor and was under seasoned. Sauces that came with the fish were good. But I wouldn’t order that dish again. The shrimp Appetizer was 10/10 So good, flavor was spot on. Bread was grilled to perfection. Asparagus and Mash Potatoes 10/10 very good. Tuna Rice Cakes 10/10 amazing! I ordered it twice. Drinks were great Bartender made my wife’s drink to perfection it made her smile.

Valet- 10/10 - Welcoming and friendly- Did not take long to receive car at end of night. The check out process through your phone is very easy and fast.

My cousin suggested this establishment through his friend Rob Vrancken, and the ambiance was fantastic with everyone being respectful and courteous. The food was exceptional, especially the sushi - each piece had a unique and delicious flavor that left us wanting more. The calamari was perfectly cooked, not too chewy or underdone. I plan on trying more appetizers next time, as they all looked appetizing, and hearing others rave about their appetizers and entrees only added to my excitement. We ordered the porterhouse, cooked exactly as requested, with a delightful truffle butter that was melted right in front of us. For dessert, we indulged in the strawberry profiteroles, which were simply delicious. Despite feeling full, we couldn't resist finishing every bite. The staff, from the food runners to the servers, were all friendly and attentive, ensuring our dining experience was top-notch. I apologize for not remembering our server's name, but she was phenomenal in taking care of us and her other tables, making sure our food was to our liking and always being available when needed. Thank you for the wonderful experience - I highly recommend this place and will definitely return. Don't forget to take a stroll on the beautiful boardwalk after dinner.

Server brought me alcohol when I asked for virgin. Also, the sauce tasted like it had alcohol in it too, but I’m not sure. I tipped the server, but I would prefer someone different next time. There was just a bad connection. The food was tasty, fresh, and had great appearance. The customers were polite and quiet. The music was just OK. Clean, nice layout in the restaurant, and other staff was friendly. However, the staff were overlooking my notebook and reading my notes, and asking me questions. That made me uncomfortable. They need to retrain their staff onconfidentiality and respect of privacy. Pricey, but it was the holidays, I liked it more than I hated it.

Environment was so lively and perfect to go out with a group of friends. Our table sat in front of the live music however we didn’t mind because it wasn’t too loud. The chicken Chipotle wrap was AMAZING, very tender and flavorful. The mock tails were also very delicious. We are from out of town but if we are ever in the area I would definitely want to stop by again!

I came here for my first Mother’s Day for brunch and the man at the front door was terribly rude. He made a comment about how I was not following the dress code, I was wearing jeans, sneakers and a blue sweater/sweatshirt that I got for Mother’s Day. Instead of seeing that I was with my baby and husband and acknowledging that it was Mother’s Day of all days, he decided to make this comment and ruin our whole experience here. On my first mother day of all days. I was very upset and still am because he ruined what could’ve been a great day for my family. Meanwhile I saw numerous people dining inside wearing jeans, sneakers, hoodies and T-shirt’s so I don’t know what the issue was. Anyway we will not be dining here again, there are so many better places that treat the customers well.

Customer service from all employees were exceptional (valet, server, wait staff, etc.. ) Food was amazing, this establishment is definitely worth the hype. Prices weren't too bad either.

My only gripe is that I called ahead and asked if I could wear khaki shorts(nothing athletic) and was told no due to their dress code. When I arrived to the location, there were several other men in shorts and women in revealing outfits (another item specifically prohibited per their dress code policy.)

I would dine here again but only for special occasions.

This is the first review I have ever wrote for a place in my life, I have been to a ton of steak houses and seafood places all over New Jersey. Blu on the Hudson had one of the best steaks I have ever ordered and everything else from apps to drinks were great, but the amazing service from our waiter Brandon was what put the restaurant over the top. Amazing from start to finish and very polite and attentive. Will definitely be returning.

My favorite restaurant, this place is a perfect 10! A great place to go with colleagues after work, friends for dinner, with family, on a date, or to celebrate a special occasion. The atmosphere is incredible, the staff is very attentive, and the food is beyond delicious! The owner, such a nice guy, came over and made sure we were all happy and enjoying our meal. We ordered the roasted red beets salad, Blu’s wedge salad, the seafood tower, nori tacos, several sushi rolls, gnocchi, ricotta tortellini, bronzino, creamed sweet corn, charred broccoli, and the best steak I’ve ever tasted. The food was absolutely incredible!! The sushi was so flavorful and fresh! For dessert, we had the tiramisu and the strawberry profiteroles, both so delicious! I would highly recommend all of the dishes we ordered! The selection of alcohol and the signature drinks did not disappoint! Parking was easy as they have valet parking available right in front of the restaurant. My husband and I can’t wait to go back again! Highly, highly recommend!!
