Hands down the ice cream is better than the sushi. Best ice cream I have ever had a restaurant, basically a Häagen-Dazs but even richer, strawberry, chocolate and vanilla were outstanding. The sushi is great too but I just don’t care for when they put mango flavored sauce over the sushi rolls, that’s just me. Godzilla roll was our favorite roll. Also service was slow compared to other sushi restaurants nearby and with appetizers too awhile to come. Also had really high quality napkins they give you but they cover the tables in plastic sheets, I get that it makes for easy cleanup but feels very cheap. Price was $29 per person at the time.

Update: I came back and for whatever reason, everything tasted so much better. Maybe it was because I came earlier in the day, but the difference was stark. So I went overboard and ate too much.
Of course I found the AYCE sushi restaurant 5 minutes from my hotel. I didn't actually pig out like I normally do, I went a little later in their service. Honestly everything was just ok. Nothing had a ton of flavor, which I wasn't expecting, but this was somehow more mediocre. The shrink wrapping of the tables should have been my first clue. Again nothing tasted bad, it just didn't have much taste. Also it wasn't busy, but they were in no rush to ask me for seconds, I wasn't offered another menu until I was ready to cash out. Local mom and pop place so I'm sure they're trying to keep waste to a minimum. I give them 4 stars because they still had all my favorite sushi, and mackerel AYCE is an automatic 4 stars in my book. Also the portions are correct, ie you are getting a sushi roll with fish like you would at a regular sushi restaurant. Not a clump/roll of rice with slivers of fish and odd fillers like lettuce. $30 week night dinner price isn't bad either.

13 years ago, Sushi Kingdom was one of the most popular AYCE locations.
And during that time period, there weren't as many AYCE Sushi locations as there are now.
They had a very friendly staff when I used to go.
I'm sure price has gone up now, but as an experienced AYCE diner, the quality here has always been subpar. Instead of eating a high quality sushi meal, it feels like you're having your cheat meal.

I was attracted to this place because of their “all you can eat” menu. Let me tell you, their food is so fresh and delicious. You get two sheets of paper and a pencil. You mark down what you want and they’ll bring it to you. After your first order, they’ll bring you another menu and you can order again, if you’d like.
Today, I had the seaweed salad (twice), and gyoza as appetizers. For sushi, we had 5-6 different rolls. They were all fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend coming here. I will definitely be returning and bringing more friends!
Also, the service was amazing. The staff was super friendly and prompt with their service. It wasn’t busy when we went, which may have helped. Our experience was amazing overall and would definitely recommend you to check it out!

$35 per person - all you can eat
Sushi Kingdom is a great place to get a somewhat decent Sushi experience. Somehow I haven't had issues with cleanliness or flavors. The food is so far what you would expect from a middle class sushi restaurant.
Overall the food is good as long as you order the right things from the All-you-can-eat sushi. Review some photos and have in mind what you want.
DO NOT LEAVE TOO MANY LEFTOVERS.
***The service is Okay, mostly asian ladies in their mid-thirties. As you can expect, their cultural upbringings make them somewhat rude and careless. They are not mean but, it is not the American service that sometimes you may expect in the NJ suburbs.
Do not let that avoid you from having a good experience, enjoy the food, which is better than most of the sushi places you will find around.
Overall, eat at Sushi Kingdom.

at $30 per person on weekends, sushi kingdom is a bit more expensive than nearby sushi restaurants, which average $25-27 in my experience. the sushi here is generally decent, especially the sashimi which is very good, but the atmosphere is subpar which inhibits enjoyment. the place is so loud and tables are very close together so that on busy nights it's impossible to hear the person across from you. we went on a friday night and the noise was actually ear splitting with the restaurant not even being completely full. they also cover the tables in clear plastic sheets which they discard between customers instead of using normal tablecloths or just wiping the tables down, which is something i haven't seen before and just seems wasteful and doesn't look good. you don't get much attention from the servers, if there's a problem with the food it can be hard to flag someone down. overall i would recommend going somewhere else for a weekend dinner, but on a less crowded evening sushi kingdom isn't bad.

9/10. If your craving sushi this is the place to go. Keep in mind that weekends are more expensive for two people we ended up paying $72. It was unlimited and the sushi has good quality. I would definitely recommend and come back. The only thing I would say is that the menu it’s confusing at first but once everything came out I have a better understanding of how it works. Only thing I would hope to be better is how they serve tables with a 5+ heads. Everyone shares one paper. Besides that everything was great. Chefs are low key and doesn’t come off as an intimidating place at all. The place is very welcoming and easy to order. They’ll hand you a paper and pen and just note down what you want.

When we order sushi, there was so much rice .but the main reason was they put rotten eel when we complained, they saying nothing wrong with it. Everyone in my family notices fish was going bad. Please peoples don’t go there . I don’t usually write bad reviews , but I don’t want someone else to go and get sick.

Review update: in the last few years this location has really really gone down hill. The service is extremely extremely slow (I'm talking 30-60 min wait on sushi) as well as just careless and rude staff. The quality of the sushi was also really really bad. The fish had a strong smell and bad taste, and most of the rolls were falling apart. Do yourself a favor and pass this spot.
To the owners - YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS! You used to be one of the best sushi places in the area and now I would think 10 times before coming back to your establishment.

The food quality was mediocre. Most of my rolls contained spicy tuna and it just wasn't flavorful. Peppered tuna with ponzu vinaigrette is a popular item at all you can eat sushi restaurants. This place didn't have that and I don't recall seeing any appetizers on the menu card. Also, I'm they serve canned soda at $2.50 and I doubt they would give you another one without charging. The owners you should go to Kung Fu sushi in Hatfield or Sushi Heaven in Harrisburg and see how it's done.

Went here with some friends the other weekend for the first time. It's a unique experience but worth it for trying all the different options. Food was amazing, especially the red snapper. Highly recommend trying as much as you can eat, but pace yourselves.
It does seem like as long as you have food in front of you, they don't stop by your table often except to refill drinks, but soon as you run low on food they come and drop off new sheets to order more. But not surprising for an all you can eat restaurant. Definitely will add this place to our regular date night or get together spots.

Made friends in line and those people behind us got their food, paid their bill and left before we ever got our food. I asked one of the waitresses where our food was. She looked at me like she didn’t understand a word I was saying, and then when I freaked out and told her it was unacceptable She just said something to somebody else and walked away. Never offering to get a manager or anything like that. We wound up leaving Before our food ever showed up. pissed off, and wound up somewhere else. We will never be back.

You also have to walk up to the worker to hand in the all you can eat paper because they try not to make eye contact with you when you call them over. Food itself is great but the level of emotional control I see in the workers is that of a 5 year old.

Drove an hour for AYCE sushi and was very disappointed. The miso soup was good, when it came to the sushi it was very distasteful and the rice was falling apart on every bite. We asked for another paper to order a couple more pieces which we gave back to the server they came back with the check instead didn’t even ask for it yet. Waited another 15 minutes and asked the waitress if our order was coming and said she didn’t receive our paper? We put the order in again and miraculously came out a minute later (must have been sitting there and they forgot to give it to us since they were all sitting eating and on their phones). My husband got the green tea icecream which literally didn’t taste like anything. The service was poor and they seemed annoyed to be bothered with anything even though there was about 5 customers in the building. Wont be back, if you live far or even close don’t waste your time.

I placed a togo order and waited 40 minutes to get my food. While i was waiting another customer requested a refund because she had been waiting for nearly an hour. Once she requested a refund her food magically appeared lol. Another customer came in to pick up an item they had forgot in his order. They tried charging him AGAIN! He argued with them for about 5 minutes trying to explain to them that the item was never in the bag when he got home. He eventually gave up and stormed out smh. Safe to say this was my first and last time eating from this establishment.

Reading the reviews is funny. TWO things in common with all of them and mine. Great Food, Horrific Service. They should just make it one of those resturaunts thats meant to be commically rude because thats how bad it is. Been here about 5 times. Food was great all 5 times and its pretty clean. Service is usually pretty quick but things we have experienced or seen are servers giving attitude and no attention, rudly giving out dishes, not taking away empty dishes so we have to pile plates up ourselves, Asking questions and basically being annoyed. The funniest thing I saw is someone ask for a straw and the server came back and threw the straw to the table from like 10 feet away, and missed, but walked away, and the patron had to go get their straw off the floor.

Update for last visit on 6/23/2023:
Downgrade from 4 to 2 stars 😒
We were Frequenting this place almost weekly or biweekly. We've always had good experiences with service and food. Everything has always been very pleasant. Our last visit on the 23rd of June was absolutely awful. I entered the restaurant and stood at the front desk for almost 5 minutes before I was acknowledged and seated. There were three other tables that were occupied including the one I ultimately sat down next to.
The guy sitting next to me looked over and said good luck in getting some food. Another 5 or 10 minutes went by before they took my slips. Kitchen food came out almost immediately but the sushi was a good 15 minutes. The guy next to me would have loved to refill but after 15 minutes and nobody coming by to give him slips he walked up to the counter himself to get some. He then waited another 10 minutes for somebody to take those slips which never actually occurred. He looked over and said I'm out of here and went up to the counter and stood there waiting for somebody to ring him out. Wiley you might think this is a one off, the same thing was happening to another table catty corner from me. I also experienced the same but was able to get at least one refill after stopping a server walking past and asking her for slips and then stopping them again to actually take the slips. It was then another 20 minutes for the food to arrive at the table. It wasn't a shortage of employees as were four people behind the sushi bar and three waitresses standing around talking and talking and talking. What a shame. I normally tip between 20 and 30% when I go to an all you can eat. I left 10% and a note on the receipt explaining why my tip was low. The sushi is good but for $30 a person and horrible service it's just not worth it. Not sure when or if we'll be going back to this particular location. I had posted my experience on a local Marlton Facebook group and other people had commented that they've been experiencing the same horrible service recently. Many people seem to be very dissatisfied. It's a shame. Need to find a good location to replace this one.
Original posting from 2022
The food is good here. I wouldn't say it's the best, but good.
The service is also very good. They are always watching without being overbearing. Drinks are refilled and plates are taken away promptly. They ask if you want anything additional as soon as they see your running low on your current offerings.
Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the price. At $30 per person its overpriced. I realize it's sushi but there are plenty of places that have good sushi at lower prices and the reality is you can't eat that much. I know it sound petty but even at $22 or $24 I would say it was a good deal. At the $30 price we will only go once or twice a year as it is overpriced.
Overall, Good service and good food. Worth a try at least once.

We met up with some friends here for dinner
They gave us one menu and refused to give us two for our friends.
This was a terrible experience, in addition nobody spoke English, so they couldn’t understand what we were saying to begin with.
When asked to speak the owner, they said he was not there.
The manager was also not present according to them - so the restaurant was being managed by waiters, apparently.
We were forced to leave unfortunately because they did not give us another menu.

Plenty of very fresh fish. Creatively presented.

As a delivery person, they don’t really care about online orders so you always have to wait :)

I come here a lot and the food used to be great. The food is just okay now. The worst experience I have was tonight. The employees been screaming across the restaurant to communicate all night. Unbelievable annoying. They made our dinner experience just horrible. SMH not sure if I want to come back anymore. Sigh….

They took forever to bring out our food even though the restaurant was not packed. We placed a order and they missed a few rolls. They did not stop by our table often we had to waive them down and at one point have to get up out my seat to ask for what we ordered.

Good food and pretty fast service as long as you aren't there when it's packed
Update: quality has gone downhill and service was extremely slow. They literally load you up on appetizers and there is a 30 minute wait before the sushi comes out, not sure if this is a ploy to get you to order less sushi but it was disappointing.

Good food but horrible service. For AYCE, you'll wait forever for sushi to be served.
My family and I used to love coming here before the pandemic, but service has greatly changed since they reopened after. Each time we go for AYCE, they give huge appetizers (often way more than you order) and the sushi itself takes forever to be served. The first time this happened, there was one other table aside from us, so we just thought there was a holdup in the kitchen. When it happened again, we can't help but think they're trying to wait you out so you fill up on appetizers (mostly fry batter and carbs) and don't order as much sushi. The most recent time my group went, we had to wait almost 30-40 mins after ordering for sushi to arrive each round. We spent way more time there than we wanted. There are plenty of AYCE sushi options around. Mr. Sushi, Sushi King, and Nagomi all have better service and won't try to cheapen your experience.

The menu is a bit confusing and there's a bit of a language barrier so just be careful before ordering. They give you one menu for the buffet regardless of how many people are eating at the table. Don't be expecting to take any extra home i.e leftovers on plate unless you plan on paying more than what they already charge. It was 3 of us and our bill came to over $100.00. I opted to give it 3stars but went along with 4 because the food itself seemed to be very fresh and that's always a plus 😉.

This place was horrible. The waiter came gave us papers , two pens and just walked away. Took 10 minutes to came back. Took over 30 minutes for the food to come. Had to remind them about the soup that should had come first. Ordered again and brought each food item separate. Towards the end I tried to wait for the ice cream but I was so fed up I left. Went to pay I ended up paying $70 for this. Waste of time and money . So not worth coming here.

Too much rice on sushi, thus, downgraded from 5 to 3 stars... Place seemed to have made food upgrade. Sashimi tasted very fresh. Maki rolls were delicious. Service superb. Servers always very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this all you can eat sushi place.

Food was great. Service was mediocre, but what can you expect from an all you can eat place. Other than that it was a good experience.

Not sure how this place is 4 stars but somebody lying. Mediocre interior, terrible service and arguably the worst sushi I’ve ever had. Visually unappealing and even scary to an extent. Save yourself the time and trouble and find sushi somewhere else.

First time coming to this place. It's really tasty! The mango, chicken tempura sushi was a new taste and I must say it's surprisingly refreshing and delicious!
You can never go wrong with salmon sashimi! And they put the spicy salmon sashimi on a piece of cucumber which gave it a crunch and freshness to it! We'll definitely come back again!
Update:
We've been here a few times for special occasions, most of the time on the weekends and once on a weeknight.
The weekday price is $25-$26, and starting on Friday night to Sunday the price is between $28-$30.
Most of the menu is the same on both weekdays and weekends with a slight difference, i.e fried oysters are served on weekends.
The beef satay tastes more like an extra sweet beef jerky than a good beef satay which is chunky, savory, peanutty, and a tad of sweetness from the sweet soy sauce...so if you like sweet beef jerky, go for it!
Both my son and I prefer the hand rolls and sashimi. The rolls are great but we like the taste of the roasted seaweed more on the hand rolls.
If you haven't tried the soft shell crab handroll or sushi roll, please try it!! You won't regret it💕

Asked to move to a different table due to tight space getting in between the tables. Twice I asked and both times they couldn’t accommodate. Because we were only two and tables available was for seating more than two. We asked to be seated anywhere as long as we can get into our seat without pushing the other seated customers beside us. But twice they said no. The whole time until we left, the other tables available stayed empty. There was no manager and only waiters making decisions. Okay never going back to this restaurant! Oh yeah, the squid teriyaki was tough as rubber.

The best spot in the area for all you can eat sushi, Its better than most other all you can eat spots in the area for sushi. My favorite is the godzilla roll.

Great sushi for an all you can eat type establishment. Everything is made fresh and is delicious. Their creativity on the menu is pretty good, with a lot of typical suspects. Some things are better than others (depending on personal taste), but overall everything is great here. I've been to this restaurant multiple times over the years and they've only disappointed me once. Don't miss out on the seaweed salad and "age tofu!"

Me and my family used to love this place we used to go all the time until last night March 12, 2023. The service is absolutely horrible. All you can eat is a good deal when it comes to sushi but when every waitress in there is rude. It is not good. Also, my dad got food poisoning an hour after his meal I told the server that it didn’t taste right and she didn’t know what to say. She said that everything was good. We will not be back. It was cool while it lasted.
