Small restaurant. Very clean, good service & food. My problem is I wanted to order so many more items. 1st time dining here. Give it a try. Will def be back. Ordered Mongolian beef and shrimp pad thai. Naruto house dumplings in a spicy garlic hot oil & soup. My only critique would be the pad thai noodles seemed a little over-cooked & soft.
I just wanted to add a second review again everything was very very good.
Second time here will be back.

Absolutely the Best Sushi Around!

I love Naruto! It’s hands-down the best sushi in the area, and I’ll happily drive all the way from Ocean City just to eat here. The sushi is always incredibly fresh, and you can taste the quality in every bite. The staff is fantastic—kind, friendly, and consistent. Came here for dinner to celebrate a birthday for two. I would recommend calling ahead or adding yourself to the waitlist especially on the weekend. Inside is really small (I was surprised by this) and can get crowded with people standing around.

The food was delicious though, good portions. You can certainly share everything if you wanted. If I’m ever in the area, I’d stop by. The prices are reasonable also. Good service as well.

The food is AMAZING! We finished our whole plates and were so impressed with the quality of the food, the sushi fish was so fresh. Everything was well served in the short amount of time. The staff was very nice and patient. The Manager came and make sure everything was great for us. We are so fortunate to have this outstanding restaurant in town. The price is reasonable, people have to understand that the supply and demand went up all around the world. Definitely will be coming back again soon.

I’ve been to Naruto many times, both for lunch and dinner. Always consistent great quality with amazing hospitality. Pork belly is a must try! Also can’t go wrong with their beautiful sashimi platter. Best Japanese restaurant around here!

I came here for a late lunch/early dinner with a friend. She had sushi and I had the sesame chicken bento box. That sauce on the sesame chicken was the best I've ever had. It had such a nice garlic flavor. I loved the peach smoothie! So flavorful!! Everything was delicious and the service was great! Beautiful inside. I'll definitely be back!

We just went for the new hibachi addition and it did not disappoint! The meat and seafood were quality and delicious, and my daughter ordered a strawberry fruit bubble tea that was so refreshing. We’ve been to other hibachi restaurants, and this one definitely topped the list for taste and atmosphere. 💯 recommend!

My parents have been bragging about this place for months. I live in LA and we have a ton of great Asian restaurants. All the food we ordered was solid, large portions, and I like that it’s a variety of Asian food. Try the spicy tuna tartare!!

I had a bad experience at Naruto. I ordered short ribs. They tasted bland with no flavor. Tough and chewy. Very disappointed and I wouldn’t waist your time. 16.00 dollars down. Sucks!!, but my shrimp tempura rolls were slamming!!

I order from here a lot because I like the flavors. But as far as bang for your buck, I’d pay attention to where they add an extra dollar or three. Over the last year rolls have gotten smaller & salads include more fillers, and more spice to mask the difference.. semi-friendly staff & clean establishment. Overall, I’d suggest Ichiban in northfield first. Same quality food, better service & more appreciative .

Unfortunately I can not agree with the love fest for this bad at best Japanese restaurant
As a sashimi purist I found all of the fish selections are previously frozen.
The options are extremely limited and they don't offer any of the traditional Japanese options like
Live scallops, Uni, Tuna belly (Otoro), Komomoto oysters. Definitely a roll house
I did notice the over use of those unhealthy sauces.
Lastly nothing is made in house especially the dumplings

I liked the dishes when it's newly opened. I'm very disappointed this time. Dishes were either salty or have no taste. The pork belly was dry, and the tofu dish had no favor in it. The fried calamari had thick breading, pai thai noodles were chewy and soggy, the mini cheese cake was warm and cold, clearly microwaved from frozen. My shirt smells like kitchen burns after the meal. I think I will never return to the restaurant again.

This spot is a little slice of Tokyo in South Jersey. Clean, great decor and the service was quick and friendly. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken Katsu. Everything tasted fresh, great flavors, not too spicy. Just really great Japanese/Asian food. I highly recommend a visit!

I don’t know what happened since they opened but we had a really bad experience last night. Service was slow but worse was scattered. We all got our meals different times. Longest 10 minutes apart. Had to ask for water. Had to walk up to register to pay check. Food was not good. Flavor was lacking in all things spicy. Shame it was good in beginning. Won’t be back.

This was my first time eating here. Placed an order for pick up and heard all good things plus I’ve checked out the menu and have been meaning to try for awhile. Finally tried tonight and it’s officially my favorite. I love Chinese and sushi and this place has both. The rolls were amazing. Smaller than Sakura where I typically order at but way better! Also ordered general tos chicken and it was so good and the proportion was big. Tried tuna pizza for the first time, it was different but really good. Their kani salad is really good too! I’m not ordering Chinese or getting my sushi from anywhere else anymore. This place has great food!

The sushi was delicious and it was impeccably fresh! We had a few rolls the spicy california was tremendous. The spicy tuna crunch roll was tasty and flavorful. The Alaska roll was great, and the crab roll was as the young kids say “fiyah “🔥🔥. 10 thumbs 👍 🆙. The shrimp habachi was like hurachis. Meaning it was golden. They even gave us starter sticks 🥢to learn and the hosts were very hospitable. Also BYOB. 🥂

The three of us enjoyed a day of dinner but we had to wait almost an hour because they had so many takeout and doordash orders that we waited a long time. My Mongolian beef had bok choy mushrooms and onions and I've never ever seen Mongolian beef that way. My husband also ordered a meal that did not disclose that it had peanuts in it nor was there a peanut warning on the menu. My daughter ordered a Hibachi vegetable meal that had lo mein in it who has ever gone to a Hibachi restaurant and had lo mein as a side dish. We will not return as the food was not as great as I had hoped

Naruto is delicious. One of the few places we order from over and over. If you are not sure what you want, try the Naruto Sushi. There are not too many great restaurants in the area but this place can compete anywhere. Top marks for Naruto, Mr. Wish, and Tacos el Tio.

Naruto is decorated amazingly! The service is excellent. The food was absolutely delicious! The only complaint that I have is that I didn't get what I ordered. I blame it on the noise coming from children at a neighboring table and not our server. Great place all around!

The first time we came to dinner we waited 48 minutes for our one dish and once it had arrived it was Luke warm and all breading with no meat, we sent it back.
Server apologies a million times for the wait and then for having to send it back.

Came back and gave them a second chance but kept it simple this time just ordered sushi. called it in for a pick up. After placing the order they said 20-25 minutes. It is currently 55 minutes and I am still sitting here waiting for my food. I’m a restaurant owner myself so I’m typically very gracious when it comes to wait times but this place is clearly either poorly staffed or the kitchen is just very weak and needs to be replaced because this is just bad business. Never coming here again, only consider eating here if you have A LOT of time to spare.

Wonderfully innovative Asian fusion menu. Delicious bubble tea with detailed logos and branding throughout. I had two specialty rolls for dinner, the Pink Lady and the Spicy Girl, and they were wonderfully presented, innovative, and delicious. Stopped here for lunch… actually we were expecting to go to a Malaysian restaurant but realized when we got there that Naruto had opened in its place about a year ago. Disappointed at first but definitely happy we decided to give it a go. The fish was very fresh and the rolls were so tasty and not too much crunch or rice. They have a nice variety of bubble tea as well but we didn’t try it this time … this will definitely be another reason to go back!

Naruto has the best Chinese food in Egg Harbor Township. The scallion pancakes are a must! They are flaky, crispy, and full of onion flavor.

The sushi is okay; truthfully, I don't expect phenomenal sushi outside of restaurants that specialize in it. It is satisfying if one is craving sushi. If you're curious about the basil pork belly, do not skip it! It's got the perfect amount of spice and basil flavor.

I've been to Naruto a few times for dine-in, takeout, and delivery, and everything I've ordered has really hit the spot. The bento box is large enough for multiple meals.

Try the mango-pomelo-sago drink. It's a fruity smoothie with strong mango flavor.

The decor is beautiful, minimalistic, and modern. Naruto figures in glass cases on a high wall are a nice touch. There's Naruto branding on the bubble tea cups. Everything seems high quality and there is a good bit of attention to detail.

Last night, my server's name was Cody, and I want to make a special mention of him; he saw me getting scallion pancake everywhere and brought me a plate, assuring me it's no trouble. Service like that is rare!

It was our first time there so naturally there were one or two simple questions about the menu, the waiter wanted to act like we were asking him to solve a quantum physics exam question and would just sigh and roll his eyes. I had just watched the new Spider-Man movie (10/10) and wanted to go try Naruto because I was looking forward to it. When I tell you, my overall day’s experience went from a solid 10 to a 3 because of how trash the service was, it was ridiculous. First and foremost, the waiter was so rude for absolutely no reason. That man was honestly such a mood killer. When he was taking our order, he kept showing passive aggressive attitude. If you all do end up going there, stay clear of the Asian waiter with blonde hair. He really is just a buzz kill. But honestly, it wasn’t even just him either, the entire restaurant staff kept looking at our table making us uncomfortable. I don’t want to jump the gun or make assumptions, but I’m 80% sure they were racist.

Anyways, the food was mid too. The sushi was dry and so was the rice. Like the hype was not there guys.

First, the waiter who took our order was incredibly curt and rude. He appeared irritated the entire time he took our order and would sigh exasperatedly if we asked questions. Several times we caught the same waiter staring at our table from the counter area while we were eating and overall he made the experience uncomfortable.

Second, the food was subpar to say the least and not worth the prices. The sushi rolls are tiny and of poor quality. We had ordered fried rice that did not look fresh and was cold and the noodles were also extremely dry. The only good part was the side salad that had come with one of the entrees.

The interior was very nice however and the overall atmosphere was okay, aside from the rudeness we experienced. It was our first visit to this place and we were looking forward to it, but we will not be returning.

The food at Naruto is very good! They haven’t been open for very long, but have made a great impression on people! They seem to always be busy!!

I enjoy getting their chicken lettuce wraps. Not many places in the area serve those. My coworker and I do takeout from there during the week. We get sushi most of the time, but have gotten their lunch hibachi & bento boxes.

The staff is very friendly and the set up of the restaurant is nice & clean! I highly recommend visiting.

The food was amazing! We visited Naruto prior to the going to the Janet Jackson concert. I had been wanting to visit Naruto and I’m so glad I did! The service was great. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. I had never had a hibachi meal with noodles, but I loved it! You can order fried rice as well, but I wanted to try it with noodles. I ordered sushi and the hibachi steak and shrimp. My fiancé ordered the Spiderman Roll, Shrimp tempura, and lobster and scallop hibachi. We enjoyed every bite! We will be returning to try the house lo mein very soon.

Great food. Seriously, so good. I had the chicken hibachi lunch and my girlfriend had the teriyaki chicken bento box. The egg rolls are good, too. All the food was super fresh. Not one thing was disappointing. Definitely my new favorite place for Japanese and Asian cuisine

Fantastic Japanese Sushi Bar and restaurant!
I got the shrimp tempura, sashimi deluxe and jasmine green tea boba shake… YES, they have boba shakes!
I definitely indulged and enjoyed myself!

Wow! The sushi here is amazing! Highly recommend getting the Monster roll and Crab Rangoon roll. Connie salad was phenomenal too. So much flavor and so fresh!

This place is very stingy. They charge you $1.50 for spicy mayo (small amount), take out & dine in. Never give you extra ginger when you ask em. And now they serve you cucumber SKIN in your sushi.. jus the skin 😂.

Two things right off the bat:
1) This restaurant is very small so you’re definitely waiting for a table
2) Its BYOB

Usually we sit at the sushi bar, but we saw an opportunity to wait for a table so we finally did. Definitely elevates the experience a little, but the sushi bar is cute for two.

Ever since Bay Ave closed, the sushi is SNJ has been pretty par. This has been are usual sushi spot because it’s close and they have a lot of things on the menu that are different from other places. My favorite thing by far is the fried oysters. I get them every time and they are so delicious in the sauce given. You get 4 per order. As far as sushi, I go for variety. Everything I’ve tried has been more than fine. The salmon sashimi is thick here as well.

I do wanna try the soup and Chinese food so I’ll update this when I do.

Went tonight spoke to hostess waited for 30 minutes to come inside when we came back inside we told the hostess our name and she just pointed at an open table… ok. Then we sat for about 8-10 minutes with no greeting or anything so we got up and left. Don’t recommend

I came here on my birthday with my parents and boyfriend & by far the best experience. The service was great and the food was amazing. I really enjoyed the appetizer’s & our meals were filled with flavors & melted in your mouth.

The pricing was extremely reasonable for all the food we ordered & I highly recommend the mango and strawberry mochi for dessert!

The restaurant itself is nice, clean and the atmosphere is extremely private. The setting the perfect.

Entering in an employee kindly had us seated getting us started. First time here I choose the Teriyaki Shrimp Bento Box Special and man it was the BOMB. The Staff Team was very accommodating and kind. I will definitely be back!

I finally had a chance to visit Naruto, newly opened my neighborhood restaurant. First of all the atmosphere was amazing. It is very clean and elegant. We were welcomed and seated very warmly . We ordered selections of sushi and sushi rolls. It was the best and freshest sushi we had so far in the area. The kids shared udon noodle soup with shrimp tempura and they loved it. I also ordered Chef’s Special Kung Pao with beef (actually comes with chicken but I substituted it with beef) It was delicious and already became my favorite. They don’t have a variety of deserts on the menu like most Asian restaurants but mochi ice cream we had was much tastier than the store bought ones. They also have good bubble tea varieties for the fans.
I highly recommend Naruto who is seeking tasty and reasonably priced Asian food.
Naruto is definitely my go to comfort food restaurant from now on. Next time I’m planning to try their bento boxes.

Had the spider roll, the New York, New York roll, the pork belly appetizer, the Naruto house dumplings, the house combo pad thai, the Naruto hot & spicy beef then finished off with fried tempura vanilla ice cream and a mango smoothie. Every was amazing! I couldn't help looking at all the other dishes going to other tables! I'm just sorry that it took me this long to come here! Already planning next visit and even started planning what dishes I'm getting next! Naruto is a must visit!

As much as I wanted to love this place by the photos I saw on Google I did not enjoy the food. I ordered two steak hibachi meals and two shrimp tempura rolls. The veggies were uncooked, the steak was really tough and the food was flavorless unlike traditional hibachi. The shrimp tempura rolls were hot and soggy which was strange. The only good thing is you get a good value for the lunch special but still in all it’s not worth it. I will not be returning.

Been wanting to try this place for some time now and I finally went on a lunch date with my boyfriend!! The ambiance and atmosphere is really an eye catcher!! It’s beautifully designed inside. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in took a minute or two for a waiter to come and get drinks ordered but she was very nice. We ordered the lunch sushi special(Spicey crab meat roll, shrimp tempura, and sweet potato roll) which were all the! The best tasting sushi rolls I’ve ever had. They were so fresh and flavorful we couldn’t stop eating them. We ordered the chicken lo mein and shrimp pad tai bento boxes and couldn’t finish them because we were so full but they were also flavorful and delicious.

The waiter checked on us several times throughout our experience which is always a plus! They were friendly and suer attentive! This will definitely be my new fave for sushi while at work for lunch!!!

I came here for a late lunch/early dinner with a friend. She had sushi and I had the sesame chicken bento box. That sauce on the sesame chicken was the best I've ever had. It had such a nice garlic flavor. I loved the peach smoothie! So flavorful!! Everything was delicious and the service was great! Beautiful inside. I'll definitely be back!

I hate to say this, but this via doordash was about 30 bucks (not including tax/doordash). I ordered two rolls and a crab rangoon and figured it would be enough for two people. It was much smaller than I expected and I couldn't help but feel a little ripped off compared to other local sushi places. (The photo was taken after a couple rangoons were eaten). We ended up ordering a small pizza to add to our dinner.

It's obvious they are banking on visuals and presentation for the price which I do sort of respect. Maybe the food served in person is better to justify so many 5 star reviews? I miss Ky Lyn because you always knew when you ordered a meal you'd get tons of tasty food.

My boyfriend and I visit this spot frequently and they have yet to serve us anything that hasn’t made our tastebuds EXTREMELY HAPPY ☺️ We especially recommend the Pork Gyoza, the Naruto House Dumplings, the Fried Spicy Crab Roll, and the Seafood Udon. Every bite was perfectly executed and delicious!!!! Staff is wonderful and attentive. Naruto has definitely set standards high for Asian cusine in the area.

We ordered delivery last night. The food was awful. The sushi rolls were very small and the pad thai was very dry. Definitely no impressed and not worth what we paid. We will not be returning.

Called to make reservations they said they didn’t take reservations but on Monday we would not have problem.we were 6 people when we got there they had empty tables but said they were reserved for there friends and they were very rude .

I have been here twice already with friends and family and I highly recommend Naruto! We tried the Shumai, Rock Shrimp, Lettuce Wraps, and House Dumplings, as well as Machta Boba Tea, the Bento boxes, Sweet and Sour Chicken, the Naruto Dragon, and the Naruto Special sushi. We even had the mini cheesecake dessert. I’m sure I’m forgetting something else that we tried. We were so hungry and devoured everything, that we didn’t take pictures.

Everything was fresh, delicious, and phenomenal. It is a small and very popular spot. You will need to be patient and wait as you do with most hot spots. Naruto is a fabulous establishment and I can’t wait to return again! Thank you for a wonderful meal and service each time.

🖤 I've been here about 2-3 times so far and the food is phenomenal. The sushi tastes so fresh the boba tea drinks are unique and delicious, and the food is absolutely wonderful. The chicken katsu especially is crispy and crunchy. Definitely will continue to come back! 🖤

really wish they had never rebranded as ky lin was great! the food was extremely mediocre for the high price. atmosphere is nice i will say. service was just okay. chicken katsu i got was pretty flavorless. sesame chicken bento my husband got was good. hibachi chicken my brother got was actually very delicious but it’s upsetting that fried rice is an extra charge and not included in the price when it’s standard, at least at every other hibachi place i’ve been to, to have it in the price already. the noodles tasted more like lo mein than typical hibachi noodles and mushroom soup was very salty. would give them another chance but i think they have a lot to improve on.

The food is AMAZING! We finished our whole plates and were so impressed with the quality of the food, the sushi fish was so fresh. Everything was well served in the short amount of time. The staff was very nice and patient. The Manager came and make sure everything was great for us. We are so fortunate to have this outstanding restaurant in town. The price is reasonable, people have to understand that the supply and demand went up all around the world. Definitely will be coming back again soon.

Horrible experience, terrible customer service. I called to place an order over the phone on 10/27/22 around lunch time (12 noon.) I explained to the staff member who took my order that I needed to substitute salmon with imitation crab because I have an allergy. I was quoted a 30 minute wait, but ended up having to wait almost 50 minutes all for the server to bring me a bag with the wrong order in it. Once they took the time to ask what my order actually was, they realized it had already been sitting out on the counter by the pick up area. (Essentially I was standing there waiting for someone else’s order.) I made it all the way home to find out that raw salmon had still been used for my order. I called very calmly and explained the issue, and requested the entire order be re-made as I can not trust eating anything in the same container with the raw fish… I sent my husband to pick up the food for me while he was out running errands. When he returned an hour later with a single roll of sushi (I got the 3 roll lunch special, everything was in one container together) I called the restaurant again because I don’t think that’s fair.. I paid for the 3 rolls, which I was unable to eat because it was mixed with raw fish.. I asked for the whole order to be remade again. So now I paid for 3 rolls but was only served one that I could actually eat? Because someone didn’t take the time to read (or write down) my important special instructions as to not have an allergy attack?! I asked to speak with a manager and WHOEVER answered the phone at 3:30PM told me there was no manager on shift and when I asked her who else I could express my concerns to answered with “NO, NOT RIGHT NOW.” and then HUNG UP on me! Are you kidding me? We are talking about health and safety here! The food is really great don’t get me wrong but if you’re not willing to help your customers get what they actually paid for then it’s a big NO from me.

Well we gave them our name and number and they said 30 minutes. Ok 45 minutes later after sitting in the car for inside sitting and standing is limited. We go in to check and they tell us they tried to call us. phone never rang. Flat out lied. As my wife and I decided to go elsewhere a customer eating told me same thing happened to them. We will surly not EVER give them our business and miss the old place that much more.
