This world-renowned Japanese restaurant is recognized for pioneering a new style of Japanese cuisine. Enjoy cocktails at the bar with ocean views, or watch chefs craft specialty dishes at the sushi bar. The menu features Nobu Matsuhisa's signature dishes such as Black Cod Miso, Rock Shrimp Tempura, and other unique dishes. Also, plan your next stay at the Nobu Hotel in Caesars Atlantic City with its newly-renovated rooms and suites, designed in soothing neutral tones with Japanese nuances and sleek modern touches.
Food was delicious. Service was attentive and friendly! Prices are very expensive; this is definitely a fine dining restaurant and experience, but worth it. Sushi was so fresh. Miso cod was flaky and so delicious. It tasted like Chilean sea bass. Roasted Brussel sprouts were perfect too

Excellent service, great food, so glad we tried it. I was very pleased with our waiter and the overall staff. Beautiful ambiance, we had a table by the window overlooking the boardwalk, which was dope. The food was really good too; very fresh and flavorful.

Excellent flavors and experience. Food is carefully prepared and tastes exquisite. There is a selection of Japanese beer and whisky, as well as the restaurant's own sake, tequila, and whiskey as well. Highly recommended. Second floor of Caesars just off the boardwalk entrance. The bar has a happy hour with a separate menu starting at 4:30 until 6 pm. Dress code, no open toed shoes, dress code in summer is a little more relaxed, otherwise business casual.

Nobu, Nobu, Nobu. This restaurant is a bit overrated, but there were nice aspects of the experience:
Ambiance-Nice, but it is a loud atmosphere. It turned into a party atmosphere after a certain hour, as they added a DJ in the bar area.
Food - 2.5 out of 5. The sushi was no better than your neighborhood sushi restaurant, but it was double the price. The hot dishes are served with no accompaniments. You order chicken? You'll get a plate of chicken with some garnishments. That's it. Rice (white rice only) is an extra cost. The chicken teriyaki was really good, but the garlic shrimp was just okay. The food does not come out at the same time. It comes out as it is ready, so be prepared if you are dining with others.
Drinks - We had two non-alcoholic lychee passion drinks, which were pretty good. The only downside was watching the servers put lemon, cucumbers, etc. in people's drinks with their bare hands to help the bartenders, while we waited for our table.
Service- Oh, how gracious were the hosts. Our wait was worth it because they wanted to put us at a table by the window. Just lovely. Our server was also kind and attentive.
All in all, I'd recommend Nobu for the experience but lower your expectations.

If you are in AC and budget is no issue, I would say Nobu is absolutely worth a try! It is a renown establishment and would highly recommend trying to get a reservation if you plan on coming here. Dress is smart casual for sure.
I DID NOT have the omakase set. This was a dinner with several dishes ordered.
I will say it has some hits and some misses.
Misses to me are easily the Maki, You are NOT getting a lot of value out of them considering the price. It is standard quantity, and quality is definitely above average but for the price it just is not worth it.
Rock Shrimp was crispy and the sauce is tasty. If you really are craving it, it is not a bad choice.
Standout for sure is the Black Cod with Miso, that is se magnifique!
BEST cod I ever had in my life and that is why it is at least four. Definitely get that for sure and the meat, you can't go wrong with it.
Place is very clean and you have an ocean view if you are lucky. Service is straightforward but it can get busy.
In my book, a definite try for AC goers. The place is also a great date night!

The food was very fresh and the drinks were delicious you can tell they use top quality ingredients in making them. But the real highlight for us was the staff. Beauty and Shantay (sorry if I’m misspelling) worked at the front desk and they are the only reason we made it in time for happy hour on Friday. They stayed on the phone to assist with directions and were so so helpful and greeted us with such warm energy. They made a stressful situation easy going and their patience was very appreciated. Our server Ivy was wonderful too she made sure we got all the drinks and food in we wanted before HH ended and took great care of us. Staff is 11/10. Nobu is fortunate to have such fantastic employees

This place stinks! The initial impression passed the eye test until utter chaos ensued. Loud environment, negligent service staff and tasteless, laughably small portions. We sat at 7:00 pm and didn’t take a bit of food until 8:30. The food was then haphazardly brought out for the next 35 mins. The bite-sized tacos are the biggest sham on the jersey shore. The manager was running around so much he was sweating through his suit. He sadly stood no chance with this lame excuse for a service staff. This place can really crush some folks hopes and wallets. Avoid at all costs!

Service is good, and the food taste - I won’t say it is great but definitely has some novelty in it. However, had really bad diarrhea after eating it today… Will write a formal letter later as a feedback.

The food was absolutely delicious. The best sushi I have ever had. Everything we ordered was spot on.
Our server was a disappointment. He went through the menu speaking so fast we had to call him back to repeat more slowly.
As I stated the food was delicious, so good we ordered additional items. After 10 minutes, while all the tables around us were getting food I called the waiter over to inquire. We were told there was a problem with the ticket in the kitchen. He would check on it and rush it through. Another 10 minutes other tables were being served I called the waiter again. He did not know why our food was not coming out.
Getting late and loosing patience we cancelled the food and asked for a check.
Great food. Disappointing service.

One of Atlantic City's absolute best restuarants, Nobu again delivers on their brand excellence. Their servers make the experience all the better for patrons. The bar program is excellent and their sake menu is well rounded with numerous hidden gems. Even if casino life isn't part of your intentions, make it a point to visit this excellent establishment next time you visit the Jersey shore.

The atmosphere was loud. I could not hear my waitress. I explained to my waitress this was our first time being at Nobu and we were looking for a certain experience as described. She was a young, not well polished (no judgement on her personally) even though I gave her a lot of directives and specific as to what our group of 6 needed, she failed. She missed putting in one of our dishes. My drink that I ordered, smelling like a wet rag. I immediately returned the drink only to get another drink with a glass smelled slightly the same. I feel as though the drink should have been complementary at this point and was not.
I would recommend sitting in the bar area for this place if you go and want intimacy.
I could say more but I won’t. All staff was friendly and welcoming. It was my birthday I work a 9-5 and spending the money was disappointing. Oh they asked in the reservation if it was my birthday. What was the point of asking that?
Visited 6 months ago
The last time we went to nobu it was a 6* experience. This time maybe a 4. I read it less than that because the truth is, are expectations were very high. Food was O.K. we had better tuna at a winery earlier in the day. There was no intimacy to our date night, we were sat in a good location but it was not at all private. The service was good but not exceptional by any means. I would go again but with much lesser expectations. Just didn't feel like the above and beyond birthday date experience we expected.

Date night the decor and service will set the proper mood. However the food will leave you wanting. Wanting more size, want mor substance, wanting more flavor. Were told platter were sharable but the size of the taco says otherwise. Crispy rice cubes with avocado might have been the highlight. It was different and tasty. My selection of squid pasta just okay. The squid lacked any real flavor the sauce was trying to help just didnt get succeed. Wife chose the A5 waygu which was delectable. Long story short expensive with very value exhanged.

My boyfriend made a reservation a few weeks ago for our three-year anniversary and requested a table at the window. When we arrived at the restaurant, the gentleman informed us that the other woman was checking to make sure we got the correct view and stated that "It would be a great one!" When the woman came back to take us to our seats, it was nowhere near the window. She asked us if we would like to wait a few mins for a table by the window and then she spotted one that was open and went to check(not sure with who or where.) She came back and stated that the table was already reserved. We took notice that the people that got that table were an older couple behind us when waiting to check in for our reservation. It didn't make much sense to us and a proper explanation would have been appreciated. On to the drinks and food- The drinks were good and the food was mediocre at best for the price that you're paying. I would never mind paying that much money if the experience/food was worth it. The one positive about our experience was our server, Holly. She was so kind, efficient and helpful. We love experiencing new restaurants together and I don't regret going but we both agreed we would not go again.

Booked a large Party for my older brother’s Bachelor Party. Everything was phenomenal from the food, service, atmosphere, etc. I want to thank Ray and Ryan for accommodating me with our large party and taking care of us when we got there. It was overall an amazing fine dining experience, especially with it being a first time at Nobu for most of us. Also, a big thanks to our waiter Sean, and the waiting staff who were super nice and helpful and descriptive with every single course they brought out to us!

I would have given it 5 stars but my wife and I were celebrating 20 years of marriage and when we arrived we stood at the front desk while 4 host/hostess debated or argued about a situation. 2 of them made eye contact but never said “welcome, we will be right with you” or anything to that nature. We stood there for a good 5 minutes while the young man seem to throw a fit and slam his tablet down. When he finally decided to greet us i said “oh well i didn’t think you saw us, a simple hello or we will be right with you would have been good” and his response was “yep sorry we were busy”. I’m sorry but for a fine dining and a $800 tab i would have expected a better welcoming. Thank goodness the waitress was outstanding and the rest of the dinner was outstanding. We tasted things that we’d never had before and everything was above and beyond our expectations EXCEPT the welcoming crew.

Got food poisoning from non-raw food when I ate there. Ruined the show I attended which I paid a lot of money for the tickets. Called the next day and the manager actually had the audacity to be rude to me and basically said there is nothing they can/will do. Shame on you Nobu. Hope you don’t treat the rest of your customers like this.

We always come here for the Yellowtail Jalapeno, and as always it was delicious. We also had the lobster ceviche, baby corn & Wagyu. The Wagyu was out of this world - super soft & melted in your mouth. The Black Cod w Miso was also amazing, can't wait to return.

One of the most delicious seafood places I have been to. The service and atmosphere are very sophisticated and beautiful. The waitress was very attentive and offered some great choices to try. Everything is sort of tapas style and small portions but that’s what nobu is known for. The food was amazing and the choices of the combinations of flavors are unlike anywhere else.

Beyond disappointed with not only the service but the food was terrible. My husband ordered beef teriyaki and I ordered salmon. There was a 30 minute delay in between me receiving my salmon and him receiving his meal. What I found strange is that the waiter warned us about the delay in between the salmon and the beef specifically. If she knew this was a potential issue, I don’t understand why she wouldn’t request the beef to be put in first to avoid the delay. I don’t really mind bad service if the food would’ve been good, but both were bad.
No-Bu emphasis on the “Boo” . Don’t get me started on the prices. Avoid this place at all costs

Extremely disappointing visit to Nobu in Atlantic City. Our group experienced significant delays in receiving our meals, with intervals of 20 minutes between each guest's order. The sushi tasted stale, suggesting it wasn't freshly made. Adding insult to injury, our bill included items we never ordered. This delay caused us to miss our show, as our meals arrived with a 30-minute gap between each dish. To make matters worse, the manager failed to fairly adjust the bill for all parties and never followed up to rectify the situation. Unacceptable service from a supposedly upscale establishment.

Excellent. Everything was absolutely amazing. This was probably the best food I ever had, and my husband said the same! The service was like none other we ever received, outstanding. Our server and all waitstaff were well learned on the menu and all ingredients, very attentive yet not overbearing. Aubrey was our sever, and we couldn't say enough good things about her. They made my husband's birthday a special occasion and one we will never forget. The views from our modern, stylish, and super comfortable seating were stunning! And the food... omg, you can really taste the freshness, the quality, and the care put into each individual ingredient. Even the brussle sprouts and cauliflower were more than delicious! The menu is a tapas style, shareable small plates, our favorite!! We also ordered the salmon special which was the freshest I've ever had, wagyu wonton/dumpling that melted in our mouths and I can't stop thinking about lol, mini tacos, sushi, steak, chicken teryiaki, and even our donut desert which they topped tabled side with sweet & salty amazingness... it was an experience we all will never forget! Oh, and they have fresh wasabi upon request, if you haven't had, you need to try!

We dined on Sunday, March 16, 2024. Your appetizers were good, and Beef Taban Yaki and Roasted Sea Bass were fantastic. My wife had two Lychee Martinis, and I had one Ginju Nigori sake. My sake was creamy colored as I expected, but tasted awful, and later that night my stomach revolted. I lived in Japan for many years, and tried always clear Sake. This was my first Nigori, and will be last.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nobu's Kitchen, and I must say, it was an experience to remember. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm ambiance and impeccable service.
Let's start with the drinks. I ordered the old fashioned, and while it wasn't served with the traditional smoke, Nobu's Kitchen put their own twist on it, and it was by far the best I've had in the area. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was top-notch.
Moving on to the food, I opted for the salmon dish, which was a delightful surprise. While I expected it to have a savory flavor profile, it had a subtle sweetness to it that elevated the dish to new heights. The salmon was cooked to perfection, flaky on the inside with a crisp exterior.
Additionally, I couldn't resist trying the Susis, and I was not disappointed. The combination of flavors and textures was exquisite, and each bite was a burst of culinary delight.
One of the highlights of dining at Nobu's Kitchen is the option to sit at the live food preparing counter. Watching the skilled chefs work their magic right before my eyes added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. It's evident that they take great pride in their craft, and it shows in the quality of the dishes they produce.
Overall, my experience at Nobu's Kitchen was nothing short of exceptional. From the innovative drinks to the delectable food and engaging atmosphere, it's clear why this establishment stands out as one of the best in the area. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Wish I could leave 0. Service is atrocious. Waited 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. Another 15 for our cocktail. Told the server we had a baby at home and needed to speed things up. Ordered a few rolls. My husband added one extra after our first round. We never got it. He literally was given the check and told the roll was on its way. Waited another 45 minutes. Nothing. Told the hosts on the way out and they assured me they’d take care of it with my husband as I had to leave early to get home to our son. They didn’t. What a joke of a restaurant.

The food and drinks that I had were terrific. They offer small plates, so the total cost of the food can be pretty pricey. I easily spent about 600 bucks for 2(with tip). I wish I had taken more pics, but I just kept eating everything haha. The environment was pleasant and date-like. I do recommend this place to anyone who likes Japanese food.
Update 12/2023- I went back to Nobu and tried the Chef's menu. Oh.. my.. lord... again, 10/10 would recommend! This isn't a place for penny pinchers. The food is definitely worth the price. I will be back.

I was here with a group, 8 of us this time. We had a reservation and didn't have to wait long after we checked in at the host stand. But they have a great bar area if you do need to wait or prefer to get there early. The dinning room wasn't anything very special, if anything lacking on atmosphere. They did have large enough tables for our whole group to fit, which was nice!
Half of us, 4, did the chef's tasting menu. We gave a budget and some flavor preferences and got a continual rotation of excellent dishes. There was inevitably a dish that wasn't a fav for one of us but another really loved, so it all worked out to split and share as suggested.
My biggest complaint here was the service seemed a bit off. Some requests weren't fulfilled timely, and service was otherwise very slow, just as I've seen at other Caesar's restaurants. So I think it's just an Atlantic City thing. Still we had a great time, delicious food and definitely didn't feel rushed - if anything were beyond ready to leave when we were done with our meal!

Quality doesnt speak for the price. It was good food but was expecting more than I tried. Though toro was good but the others are simple food that you just paid for the name. Place was nice and cozy. It was a nice experience but food wise you can find better with a lesser price.

My first time at Nobu was a pleasant experience. Our server Lisa was extremely friendly and an expert on the menu and helped us to order the proper amount of food.
The drink menu is pretty eclectic and the cocktails are made properly. And they actually use enough liquor to avoid the watered down drink phenomenon so common at other restaurants. Smokin' Aces cocktail was smoking!
I gave the food 3 stars because of the salt levels.
The beef toban yaki had an amazing taste and was so tender!
The shrimp spicy garlic was 10/10 on the salt level.I understand that salt level is an individual preference so we didn't make a big deal out of it but we did let our server Lisa know and she said management would be made aware.
Again, Lisa is an amazing representative for the business and we will be back!

Food is okay, wait staff is very kind. My friends and I were so excited to try Nobu, however the food was not as high of quality as we would have liked. Similarly, the drinks were not great either. On top of that, we told the waitress it was my sister’s birthday and although they said they’d bring a cake, they never did. Good restaurant but probably bad organization and logistics.

Had a great dinner here this past Saturday night! Top favorites were: the Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, Nobu Dumplings, Rock Shrimp Tempura and Shrimp & Lobster with Spicy Lemon Sauce! The cooked sushi rolls (Eel & Cucumber and Shrimp Tempura) as well as the raw sushi (Sushi Special and Chef’s Sushi Selection) were amazing! For cocktails, I really enjoyed the Lychee Martini, quite delicious.
Food came out a bit slow. Prices are a bit high here—but you can use your Caesars comps here though. Nice addition to Caesars hotel, make sure you make reservations on the weekend!

Ordered the yellowtail jalapeno, crispy rice with tuna, oysters with nobu sauces to start with, just amazing, the dishes kept getting better and better. For entree we ordered the black cod with miso and wagyu beef. For desert, we had the doughnuts and whiskey cappuccino (not a drink). The entire experience was outstanding, the food exceptional and overall had one the best meals of my life.

Amazing food and excellent service. I am still dreaming about the wagyu tacos, the yellowtail jalapeño, and the baked snow crab roll. Great sake selection too. Our server was wonderful and she went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Will be back for sure!

Came here with my husband and daughter and i would never come here again, there was not one dish that was good, we ordered many different things and got main entrees with desserts and it was alll horrible, not sure what the hype is about with this place, not one of us enjoyed one thing here, the salads were not even edible or the sushi. We couldnt believe how horrible everything tasted the only thing nice was the view. Service was ok, save your money and dont waste it here we all agreed we rather eat Mcdonalds then eat here which says alot because we rarely eat there.

I came here for happy hour with my boyfriend on a Thursday & then the following Saturday because we loved it so much! The fried chicken appetizer was one of the best things we’ve ever tasted.
Expectations were obviously high because of Nobu’s reputation - the salmon was very fresh, and I had a spicy margarita which blew me away!! I was disappointed by the truffle corn dish - almost $10 for a plate of wet baby corn just didn’t sit right with me. We also tried the cod butter lettuce which the bartender recommended, and it wasn’t amazing. Everything else made up for it!
I’d highly recommend going for a happy hour. You need to get there early, but it’s worth it - eating here for a dinner isn’t cheap, so the happy hour is much more accessible and fantastic for the price.

I’ve been in Nobu 5 times for the last 5 months. The food is delusions! No, the food is fantastic! The taste and presentation are amazing! I love this place! But you have to think about the music. This is a sophisticated restaurant, not a nightclub.if I need loud music, I will go to the night club to dance. I come to restaurant to eat and enjoy the conversation with my family. I have to speak very loud on order to talk to my family. This is asian infusion restaurant. Why not consider Asian music or any other music but very loud.
I love food, I really do. But I won't come to Noby anymore. It's not proper to scream to your family members in order for them to hear what I say….

Nobo was great. Although they have to enforce a dress code.
I went with my wife, we were dressed appropriately and sat next to multiple couples in sweat pants and t-shirts on Saturday night.
This was a great improvement to Ceasars, but they need to enforce a dress code.

Overpriced sushi. We do not mind paying for good food if the price justify it. However, the food portion was extremely small and tasteless. However, the quality seems to be decent. The wait for food, drink etc. is ridiculous.

I had high hopes for this restaurant and I was so excited to have our 1 year wedding anniversary here, but if you have an allergy, do not come here as they are not accommodating and are not educated of what citrus fruits are (which are orange, lemon, lime, and grapefruit). Our waitress from the start made me uncomfortable where if I can’t have citrus, then I basically can’t get anything on the menu and the drink they brought me that they said had no citrus was made with lychee purée which is made with citrus. It was a disappointment all around, and I was really upset.

I've been to this Nobu location a few times. The food is consistently delicious. I've gotten a couple different sushi rolls, the Black Cod Lettuce, and the Umami Chicken Kaarage (pictured). The bartenders are attentive and friendly. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I've seen a few flies in my last two visits.

Tried Nobu for the first time ever and I was not disappointed! The food was amazing. The chicken teriyaki was so delicious and portion was perfect for sharing as many of the dishes are meant to be shared. The sushi roll I had was delicious and quite big. I also got the edamame which was also delicious. Our server Josh was amazing as we had a person at our table with a gluten sensitivity. He took the time to explain to her which dishes she could get or modify and he took the time to explain everything to us regarding how to order, etc. All in all we had an amazing experience and we will definitely be back! They even had a DJ there so it was a great vibe dining experience.

Great experience at Nobu AC. Phenomenal atmosphere overlooking the boardwalk and beach. Drinks were top notch. The food lived up to the hype; was presented in an extemely pleasing fashion and tasted great. Shout out to our server, Holly, who was awesome—friendly and attentive and even spend several minutes going thru the menu with us. This is a must attend kinda place in Atlantic City!

Pros: the manager was gracious enough to find us a table since we got there a bit late (when you try to call them during shift, you can't get a hold of them for whatever reason). The bartender was super sweet and understanding. the drinks he made was fabulous.
Cons: the hostess was very off putting to say the least. I work in the industry and her attitude was 100% off. The tone she used while speaking to me and my guests was definitely underwhelming to say the least (it almost felt like she was trying to talk down on us until the manager came over). Once the manager found us the table, we were being served by Kat. She was not up to par either. We gave her our order (we clarified things with her twice) but she managed to get our order wrong. When she sensed our frustration, she wouldn't stop by the table to see how we liked the food. Some of the guests at the table needed second drinks but she took all her time and did not apologize about it. However, the table across from us got all of her attention as she was constantly checking on them. It does feel like some of their employees are not properly trained and it shows. I don't see myself going back there for the whole experience but I can certainly stop by the bar since they were the only ones who seemed well trained and had positive attitude.

The service was trash. I was trying to call the restaurant so that I could push my reservation, but it went straight to voicemail. When I got to the restaurant, they told me that they had given away my table since I was running late. I sat at the bar ; this did not sit well with me because I made that reservation in order to celebrate the birthday of my little sister , I went and begged the manager he was able to give me a table since they had a cancellation after that our server whose name was Kat got some of our orders wrong and she did not apologize she kept on telling us that our order was right ; on top of that she made us pay for the appetizers which we’ve never received, they gave us only one appetizer ; we did not want to cause a scene since there was not a lot of people who had the same skin tone as us , this server did not come to our table more often but she did go to other table of the people who had the same skin tone with her . The food is good, though

I had an incredible experience at Nobu. We went on a Friday night and had a reservation for a dinner for 2. The atmosphere and staff were amazing! The food is pricey but totally worth it! One of the few vegetarian options in AC. Tofu and spicy garlic was out of this world. Highly recommend!
Visited 2 years ago
The atmosphere is beautiful, elegant, under stated... it is more modest and elegant than any of the other top shelf Japanese concepts in AC. The mixed drinks are delicious, but admittedly lightly poured making them modestly sugary. The sushi is gloriously fresh! Admittedly expensive, but quality comes at a price. The shitake mushroom salad with lemon miso vinaigrette was incredible, however, the mushrooms were not as well seared as depicted andbut changed the overall craveability of the dish. The tempura rockshrimp were fantastic. The spicy creamy crab was incredibly rich. Overall, it's a great meal. Probably not worth half what it cost, but it is a great meal. Go for a special occasion... you will fall in love with that lemon miso dressing.

My wife loves Nobu!!! I enjoy the vibes and the atmosphere, it kind of reminds me of an old style Buddakan restaurant. The food and presentation is very good. I find it to be a little pricey, but you pay for what you get and you do get a fine quality of service and fare at Nobu. The cocktails are also precisely made if you're able to get a seat at the bar.

If you've been to Nobu in NYC, then this should be familiar with their signature dishes. Miso black cod, rock shrimp tempura and their bento box dessert, all here and all very tasty as I remembered.
I would recommend if you're a Japanese food/sushi lover looking for a fine dining venue in AC.

Great atmosphere on Saturday night had a DJ playing great music. And I had a lobster ceviche that was phenomenal

A VERY much needed and highly appreciated new fine dining option at Caesars in Atlantic City. Great renovated space overlooking the Boardwalk with amazing views of the beach and Ocean. Despite having been to 6 or 7 other Nobu’s elsewhere, and having tried all common dishes before, there were several unique menu items as well as a handful of inspired and innovative “specials” to choose from - all of which were delicious. Service was excellent. Combined with the all new “Hook” Spiegelworld show also that just opened in July made for a great/fun evening! Apparently there’s even a new Nobu hotel under construction in one of Tower’s upper floors. It’s great to see some money being invested in A/C for a change.

First and foremost, Shante ( hope I'm spelling this correctly ) is fabulous, she is the hostess @ desk and was so wonderful and gracious, a trait hard to find in AC.
Food: over the top delicious and the presentation is unbelievable, attention to detail and quality is truly top of the line
Service: Stephanie our waitress was awesome, she was very knowledgeable for the menu and very attentive.
Food runners: everyone was excellent and explained in great detail what they were serving, special shout out too Manny
Atmosphere: though there is a great ocean view, the dining room is bland with no character.
Overall it was an excellent experience, we truly enjoyed it, additionally Caesars looks fabulous, haven't there in a while and was impressed with the renovations!
p.s. bring $$$$ this is a high ticket restaurant

Service was good, not exceptional and certainly not on par with the Nobu brand. We appreciated the server's suggestions. Management was visible and checking in on guests. The food was really just mediocre. Was the sushi and sashimi fresh? Yes. But you can also get fresh sushi and sashimi from other places for alot less money. The stand out dish and their signature was the black miso cod - exceptionally prepared and the flavors are just lovely. The creamy spicy crab was neither creamy nor spicy and the flavor of the crab was lost under all that roe. The wagyu new style was just ok. Lobster ceviche was also just ok. The drinks were good. I expected to be blown away by the service and the food and I wasn't. And yes, it's expensive - $300 for two people with two cocktails a piece. In my opinion, the only thing worthy of its price on the menu is the black miso cod. I don't think this place will last in AC.

Nobu is certainly not a cheap meal, but the service is outstanding and the food is exceptional. We had a great time here and thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience.
As Nobu is a small plates restaurant, we ordered several plates for the table and got to try a bunch of things.
One of our favorite dishes was the Salmon Karashi Su Miso. It was beautifully plated and the sauce was amazing!
We also really enjoyed the Toro Tuna Tartare, which is an experience in itself, and the the Black Cod with Miso, which was delicious!
We also enjoyed the Crispy Rice and Spicy Tuna and the Nobu Tacos (we tried salmon, tuna, and snow crab).
Of course, the Sushi & Nigiri were outstanding as well!
And the Bento Box Dessert was a great ending to the night.
We would absolutely go back for a splurge night!

I've read other reviews of the Nobu in AC and I have to agree with those who said if you have ever been to another Nobu restaurant, this one is not up to par. The food here was good, but not great. The service was alright, but not great. And the atmosphere was also alright but not spectacular. I don't mind spending more for a great dinner, but here I felt like I was spending more but not getting the great experience I hoped for.

Food was just ok. I didn’t like the fact that they don’t bring your food out on time. If I came to dinner with someone we would like to eat together it doesn’t make sense
Seems like it would make more sense for them to bring all of the food out together so that is it’s warm. Definitely will never come back.

Food was amazing. 4 of us shared a bunch of rolls and apps and everything was outstanding. The service, however, was trash. Our waiter started out great, but there was a “new” waiter training and we’re pretty sure he was drunk or something. He spilled a drink, he fell sideways into the wall next to us, and would find excuses to come to our table and make very strange, uncomfortable conversation. After the near fall, our main waiter started avoiding our table also, out of embarrassment? I also ordered nigiri that I never received. Anyway. Food was awesome.

Wow, this was such a wonderful and pleasant surprise! We didn't realize that Nobu was open for mothers day for a special brunch tasting menu, but boy are we glad! The family style tasting menu came out quickly and all at once, looking aesthetically pleasing and Instagram-worthy! Everything was extremely tasty, where the flavors danced from mildly spicy, citrusy, salty, charred and sweet! The staff were so sweet, where when I accidentally knocked down our mimosa, they helped us clean it up and also replaced our drink! They replaced our dishes and utensils promptly and were so warm and friendly! Definitely 5* service, where multiple staff came and served us throughout our whole dining experience. The soft shell crab Benedict and chirashi was our definite favorite, with the crab and sashimi being so incredibly fresh! Highly recommend trying them out for they always do their best to serve their diners and provide the best service possible, will definitely come back for their regular menu next time! Thank you Alexandria, Adrian, and the sweet waitress who was kind enough to help us wipe our accidental spillage; your service is reflective of what exemplary service looks like!
Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

Dined at Nobu AC with my partner and his best friend on Wednesday night for an early birthday celebration and had the absolute most enjoyable dining experience I’ve had in the longest time!
I’ve previously been to Nobu in Vegas and while it was delicious and memorable, this experience far surpassed it. When I made our reservation, I was looking for two things: vegetarian or vegan offerings, and fine dining fare without a stuffy environment. Nobu AC totally hit the mark and then some!
Everyone treated us so warmly from the moment we arrived—when we checked in, I wish I’d gotten the name of who seated us because she was so lovely!! My partner casually mentioned that sitting with a view of the game would be a plus, and instead she generously set us up at a super comfy lounge table with a perfect view of the game, and arranged for us to be served there. It was such a thoughtful gesture to begin the evening and made us feel really special (I’m sure this is also a perk of the off season and having a later reservation midweek, so be mindful/respectful of expectations if your res is on a Saturday night in July)!
Our server, Alexandra, was absolutely amazing—she was friendly in a natural way, super knowledgeable of the menu, and made great suggestions. We don’t drink, so I’m not unfamiliar with feeling an air of disappointment when that becomes known, but Alexandra did not seem to have any reaction at all which was incredibly refreshing, and showed us their offering of mocktails (which were delicious)! Since I’d tried the vegetarian tasting menu last year in Vegas, I was able to revisit some memorable favorites (the theatrical mushroom toban yaki is a MUST for mushroom lovers), as well as try some dishes that have now become new favorites (hello eggplant with miso and brussels sprouts)! Alexandra also treated us to the salted caramel brownie for dessert, complete with a lit candle for my partner’s upcoming birthday!
We left so happy, and so full, I have literally no complaints whatsoever! Highly recommend!! Thank you so much to everyone at Nobu!

The food was delicious but the servings were child size. I understand what their trying to do but its silly. Me and my fiancee went the bill came out to $500, we were starving at the end. The waiter staff is inexperienced and they kind of make you feel like your idiot explaining everything , almost like your about to see God. The only thing that was very good was the drinks.
It's more or a tasting experience then a dinner which is fine but not for me. If I'm gonna spend money I'm leaving full. 3 Stars is right for this establishment nothing like New York. Bijou Ghetto compared to New York. Better step up or close up ruining your name.....

Although we enjoyed the food at Nobu Atlantic City, and the new restaurant is quite nice with a good atmosphere, the overall experience left a lot to be desired, to the point that I would not return. Issues included:
-Service Overall: Our server was generally nice, and there were no major service issues, but I did feel that service was on the slow side and was a little amateurish. For example, no one ever bothered to remove menus after we ordered, and I had to actively ask for them to be taken midway through the meal. The staff never cleared basic things like the wrappers from chopsticks off the table, and they never cleaned the table itself at all between courses, which should be standard at this level of restaurant. Particularly with everything served as small plates to be shared, things are bound to fall on the table a little bit and need to be cleaned up.
-Corkage: We wanted to bring our own wine to avoid Nobu’s over-the-top wine markups, and we know this is permitted by paying a corkage fee at many Nobu locations. However, I called in advance to confirm it would be ok here. After being treated by a host as if I was asking something crazy (she had clearly never heard of corkage as a concept), I finally spoke with a manager who confirmed there was a $50 corkage fee per bottle. We ended up bringing a bottle of champagne, but the staff neither offered to open nor pour it for us (which would be standard), nor did they offer an ice bucket to keep it chilled (also standard), and it took quite a while to simply bring over glasses.
-Hidden Upcharges: The thing that actually really bothered us, however, was surreptitious up-charging from our server to run up our bill. We had 5 people, and she explained that most dishes are sized to serve 2-3. She offered to adjust sizing on dishes to make sure we’d have enough for everyone, which seemed considerate on the surface. I’ve had this happen at other restaurants, and it typically takes the form of something like a dish that would come with 4 pieces having a 5th piece added for a little extra. However, here, it was much more extortionate. For example, we ordered the creamy spicy crab and said everyone wanted to try it. Rather than giving us just a slightly larger portion, without disclosing it in advance, they ended up bringing out two whole dishes of the crab, which was too much food, at double the cost. We didn’t need to spend over $100 for one dish that we each just wanted a bite or two of. Had our server been clear on what the increased sizing would be, we would have declined. Similarly, for the miso cod, we ordered the standard sized dish for 3 of us to share. Our server recommended that we switch it to the cod butter lettuce, and made it sound like it would be the same amount of cod, just cut up and portioned into 6 pieces on top of lettuce. The suggestion sounded helpful, and we weren’t still looking at the menu to realize this meant we’d be doubling the cost of the cod. The lettuce cups are priced per piece, unlike the single larger piece of cod that was half the price and we could have cut ourselves. Even for something as simple as water, she only offered “still or sparkling”, without specifically offering tap water versus bottled, so we ended up with bottled water we didn’t want for a ridiculous $20 per bottle.
Despite generally liking the food (favorites were the yellowtail jalapeno, shrimp tempura with creamy sauce, chicken teriyaki, and all fresh fish for sashimi/nigiri), we left with a very bad taste in our mouths once we saw our final bill and how much we had been upcharged without knowing it. We’ve been to other Nobu restaurants and very much understand how things work, and are aware of the cost (although we did note that prices in AC were higher than even somewhere like Aspen, which seemed off). However, we've never felt like a server was actively working against us to overcharge us in the way that Nobu Atlantic City did. Our meal in AC was a poor value and not one we’ll be repeating, which is a shame, since we did enjoy the food and the physical space.

I’ve been to Nobu in NYC (57 and Downtown) and Malibu which are incredible locations but unfortunately AC just doesn’t cut it. Although our server was nice, the service was a bit slow. The food was ok as well. From my experience at the other locations, I was expecting it to be better. AC just doesn’t have the Nobu vibe and unfortunately (because it’s in AC) I don’t think it never will.

A high priced big-name restaurant in a casino town: I should have known better.
I sat at the sushi counter.
The fish for the sushi was fresh, and the guy behind the sushi bar was extremely polite and did his best to be accommodating. Don't have much positive to say beyond that.
Ordered a classic daiquiri to start. "Like a frozen drink?" "No, just a shaken daiquiri." After checking with the bartender: "I'm sorry, he's unable to accommodate the reqest." Cute that you have the restaurant name branded into the large ice cube for a $20 side car, but your bartender can't make a classic cocktail with 3 simple ingredients.
I ordered squid nigiri and was served octopus by my friendly sushi chef. He was very proud of how he dressed up my "squid" for me, but squid and octopus are very different.
And ordered a sake which was very good but $40+ for a 6 oz pour to have 1/3 of it spilled on the counter is sad.
Oh and the vegetable dishes and hot dishes can only be described as pedestrian.
If you don't have a great sushi place where you're from and want some great fresh fish . . . Sit and have some sushi! If you don't want to be ripped off for the most basic stir fry you've ever had in your life, please god go somewhere else.

They attempted to overcharge my husband’s card (my husband only knew of this because he received an alert on his phone from the bank stating XYZ transaction had been attempted, which was immediately disputed). This resulted in us sitting at our table for 20 minutes after the meal while they tried to figure out billing, only for them to finally discover they had switched our bill with someone else’s.
All of this is to say - MAKE SURE YOU ARE BILLED CORRECTLY. If it happened to us, I’m sure it’s happening to others, some of which may have no idea.

The food here is good, it is true. As another reviewer commented, however, it is served in laughably small portions with the intent of upselling to extract every cent from the customer. I came expecting to spend, but to drop top dollar and not be full isn't worth it.
Also, we couldn't get a rez before 7. No big deal for a Friday. Yet when we showed up at 6:30 the place was empty, with no less than 25 hosts, bartenders, servers, and managers standing around. I don't get it.

The food was nothing special. Much better places to choose in Atlantic City . The best surprise is the bill , 500 dollars a couple so a total of 2500$ . This place won’t be open to long . Read some of the other reviews it’s not just this one . Staff was also rude wouldn’t let us make any changes . We all left hungry and had to go get a bite to eat after. Save yourself your money and your aggregation.

This is not your typical Nobu experience. Unfortunately, the drinks are weak. The servers were trying their best to make it work however it was overwhelming for them.
I have been to several other Nobu locations and other sushi establishments and never really had issues with cross contamination but here it was an issue. If you have celiac, don’t bother. The server told me I would have to exclude all of the sushi. I asked him if there was any way to make it safe and I took the risk.
I should have listened and avoided the sushi. Even with the Tamari soy sauce, I still felt so nauseous after eating.
Also, there is no restroom in the restaurant. Overall, they need to find a solution to the celiac problem. This needs to change. There should be a dedicated gluten free deep fryer and a dedicated area, knives and kitchen tools. It’s been enough time already. Many people in the world have this problem. Change it or lose customers.

However, today we had a 5 o’clock reservation and we were seven minutes early…they would not let us sit in the lounge after our long walk. We didn’t want drinks just a place to sit but instead had to stand outside of the restaurant. Not going above and beyond or thinking about your customers comfort.

I loves the edamame with the Peruvian corn. My hand roll of tuna was amazing. Miso Soup exquisite you will love this menu if you love Japanese cuisine

The drinks and food were all very good! Definitely pricey but you know that coming in. We loved everything in miso. The cod was flaky and perfectly cooked. Spicy tuna was not spicy at all (I don’t think they used any spicy mayo) but the shrimp tempura was excellent!! Best shrimp tempura I’ve ever had. And the donuts and espresso martini were both delicious and the most perfect way to end the meal.
You’re probably wondering, if the food was so great, why only 3 stars? Here is where the problem arose and where our experience went downhill. The waiter, Greg. He made us feel like we weren’t ordering enough food, and kept saying our menu was “light”. His facial expressions gave off a “wow y’all are cheap” vibe, which was a bit surprising. We wanted sushi and he recommended that we order it towards the end of our meal, so we did. That’s probably why our menu seemed “light”. It sure seemed like he just wanted a higher bill. After we ate, we waited some time for the check, which was eventually brought to us by a different staff member. Our waiter continued to ignore us for another 15 minutes until we handed someone else the bill to be charged. We didn’t appreciate this behavior, especially after spending close to $800 with tip. And to top it off, he didn’t even thank us for dining. Probably won’t be making the trip to dine here again.

If you are looking for that Nobu NYC or Malibu experience, you won’t get it here. And let’s face it, Nobu is all about the experience. Went for dinner and there were people working walking around fixing lights, taking measurements and taking pictures of walls and structures, being very noisy and distracting. Lasted our whole meal. It seems like they rushed the opening. MAYBE I’ll try it again in a year or 2 once they get it together.

Yea. Don’t go. It’s only a name. If you do go don’t let the waiter convince you to do the “nobu experience”. Definitely not worth it. They bring you out little taste tester servings. And for full price. 5 slices of a scallop sliced so thin that they used probably one scallop. For 60 bucks. Never again. Service was so bad. They were so slow. Took forever to get drinks. Only good take away from this experience was that the food was fresh. I wouldn’t have mind it if it was worth what we paid. But it wasn’t. I would not recommend this place.

Considering the cost and the name, food here is tasteless. Don't waste your money here.

Would give it zero stars if I could. Spent almost 300 dollars to book a room in Atlantic City because we had a 350 dollar gift card to nobu. Invited our two friends and we’re mortified when they told us “we have a new system, we can’t take this” this was after I specifically went online to make sure that nobu Atlantic City accepted the gift card. No apologies. No anything.
