Atmosphere, very relaxing and quiet. We went in on a day mid week. We were really enjoying and then food came out! Presentation of the plates were so enticing. These were the best tasting items ever. I will let my pictures tell the story.
I will recommend this place over any place here on the north side of Vegas

We found Namba Sushi just recently and we are glad we did!! The staff is great, no self checkout or short staff signs.
They are an all you can eat sushi place which normally is a sign that the quality might be lower, but we found this place was quite the opposite.
Sure we say some smaller fish slices on the nigiri, but the quality was good. We really liked the jalepeno poppers (jalepenos with spicy tuna) and had a hard time choosing the rolls we wanted. There was so much on the menu we wanted to try, but it was just two of us.
We had the lemon roll and the sunrise roll. Both of these were great and repeatable, but we wanted to try so many others, so we will be back for sure!!

Terrible experience. My wife and I had dinner here tonight. The all you can eat had a lot of restrictions so we ordered bowls. They do not swap noodles for rice (odd since everywhere we go we get asked if we want rice or noodles, but ok) so you have to add it as an extra. My wife got her food but mine didn't come. I was told that there is one chef and they are backed up and they go by order received. That only makes sense if they didn't put my order in and had to start cooking it when I asked where my order was. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl (same as my wife). I finally got it after 15 minutes from when my wife got hers. I started eating it and after a few bites, I bit into what seemed to be an oyster shell. At least, that's what the waiter said. One bad thing after another. The second waiter was very polite, but our initial waiter was not a people person. They did offer discounts and took both of our meals off the bill. We asked them to put my wife's meal back on since she did eat hers. They also offered us free deserts, but I obviously wasn't in the mood anymore so we went home. The food tasted good but unfortunately, we won't be going back.

What a horrible experience. My wife and I dined here with a friend for lunch. To say the service was bad is a gross understatement. My friend and I ordered the "all you can eat" lunch which, it seems is not an accurate description. My wife ordered a Bento box. Her opinion of the food was just "meh" and that is a pretty good description of my food was a well. The tempura items were running with grease, the rolls were not packed tight so they just fell apart when you picked up the pieces. The fish tasted like it was frozen at some. The food wasn't entirely bad, just not worthy of returning. The service however, was just downright pathetic.
We are seated at our table by a secondary server who doesn't speak a word of English. Not one word. When we were seated the three of us only received one menu. When we asked her if we could get two more she literally stood there and stared at us...total deer in the headlights. It was like I asked her to give me the square root of Pi to the 100th digit or something. I asked again and she just shook her head and walked away. The "menu" (shredded, laminated pages held together with a binder ring) got passed around our table and 10 minutes later our other server arrived. He looked as though he just woke up, smoked a joint, and then walked into work. No smile, no greeting, no nothing. Just him as his tablet. We ordered a bunch of items which started coming out of the kitchen in random orders about 10 minutes later. The Spanish-only speaking server comes to our table with our tempura orders, drops them and walks away faster than we can blink our eyes. we didn't receive any sauce for the tempura orders. It took us over five minutes to flag someone down to go get this for us. Our dopey server then comes by with one for the two of us. We ask for another, and a few minutes later he shows up with the second. These people are just totally clueless and couldn't care less about anything.
We eventually put in a second order of rolls which never showed up. After waiting 15 minutes for them we finally were able to flag him down and his answer was, "Uhhhh...yeah, they just haven't come out I guess". We asked for the check at that point and left. At least the server took off a few bucks from our check but the servers weren't worth more than a $0.00 tip, which is what we all left them. I'm not one to ever stiff servers, and I think this is only the second time I've done it, but it was very much deserved.
Hopefully this makes its way to the owner because obviously management here is completely AWOL. The servers never should have been hired in the first place and anyone who's worked in this place for more than 5 minutes should realize that they need to go. They are killing this restaurant.

Sam is hands down the best server I've ever had at Namba. I have been coming here for years and he was just amazing.
My son is very shy and he engaged with him and got him to talk. The portions and rolls seem to have gotten smaller, but that's ok, the all you can eat price is fair and the best thing, you can order half rolls. Namba has always been our go to place and because of Sam, will continue to be.

Don't do it. I took my son here last week and the rolls tasted like old ingredients and the cooked rolls tasted like dirty frying oil! We actually paid and left before the rest of our order came out. I was told that this place has improved, but obviously not. Our server wasn't a people person either. The service was so slow and they weren't even busy.

Honestly the food was good, but the service I received was top notch. When I came in on Wednesday I had never been and my server, Sebastian, was excellent. Gave good recommendations and was very helpful in all facets when I asked for anything. Would recommend to my friends and family and will come again!

Went for lunch. I had the Teri chicken Bento, took a bite of the chicken and felt 2 long strands of hair in my mouth. The teri chicken didn't taste good either. My lunch partner had the Tonkatsu ramen. The broth did not taste anything like tonkatsu. I think they used white miso soup paste for the ramen broth and the noddles were over cooked. Will never go there again!

Food Poisoning and Horrible Service
For background context, I went on a weekend where there were 2 other tables sat with less than three per table. (So it was absolutely not busy)
1. They sat us down quickly with ice cups / no water, until we asked for some after ordering our food. (Not sure of this is just customary to the restaurant but definitely new to me and my party of 5)
- also missing a menu.
2. 6 servers on shift and 3 chefs
- there was no reason for our table to be looked over in terms of water and a missing menu.
- The chefs were very unprofessional and gawked at the ladies in our party while staring and whispering among themselves.
- Not every server was lazy about bringing the food out we had 3 serve us. 2/3 would simply place the food at the end of the table and not make the effort to identify who’s food it belonged to. There was only one server who actually made the effort to place the food in front of its consumer. (Which is expected anywhere else)
3. Food was alright at first, but I got food poisoning from the Monster Roll that contained Deep fried shrimp, crab, and tuna. Im guessing its from poor handling of the tuna but it really has not been a fun experience and has ruined sushi for me.
4. To end it all, they added an unnecessary item to our bill. Really careless and irresponsible when thinking about how busy it was and how many staff members were on hand. Regardless, they need to get it together.

By far the best sushi I've had in Vegas! Love their all you can eat menu, so many items to choose from. Try the Crazy Rich, Silver State, King of the Ocean, and Monster rolls. There are a bunch to pick. Good luck with the choices, there's no way you could try them all. We also get the white tuna nigiri each time, only two pieces, but it melts in your mouth. Mexican Fiesta, Green Chili, & Snow Corn rolls are also some of our favorites.
Update: Just ate there today and I was informed they no longer take the frequent diner cards, the ones where you buy 10 meals, get one free. That bites, especially since one of my meals would have been free as my son and I went. Bummer.

Food is good been there over the years. The service is horrible. There was about 20 people in there with one server . The manager was standing outside talking to the hostess. Had to wait 30 mins to get an order in and never asked to order more. I think they have bigger problems cause the manager looked coked out and seemed paranoid about something. Not one of the servers smiled . Was gonna make a bigger stink about it but just decided on the review cause i give it about 8 months before they shut down. Sucks cause the sushi is good there . But there are other sushi spots around and I say just take your money there. Instead of spending it on ungrateful employess.

Wow has this place gone down hill...we came in for lunch AYCE. We had a punch card and wanted to use our free meal, but the waitress informed us "they don't do it anymore"...okay, we have not been in a while, so I guess that's possible.
Move on to ordering and I am getting a few items that are marked with "1" meaning one per person and the waitress says: " that's dinner only" even though it's not marked with a "d" for dinner only...I asked if there is an updated menu..."oh they just started doing this..." says the waitress...
No apologies or explanation, answers were just so short and kind of rude. We won't be returning

Today Sam served us and not only was he attentive to our needs, he was excellent with the child we had with us. Sam’s service was above the rest! Used to be the go to sushi spot. They stopped their AYCE stamp card. Wait staff is constantly changing and most do not want to work there. Atmosphere is always the same. Some type of music blaring, sometimes TVs are on showing music videos. Restaurant could use an entire scrub down. Restrooms remind me of an escape room. Dingy lighting, sometimes paper towels to dry your hands. It's a shame because the food is pretty good.

This place has gone downhill. They don’t accept AYCE sushi cards any more. I needed one more stamp to get a free one and I was told they no longer accept the cards. On busy weekend days you should probably have more than 2 servers for the entire restaurant. We waited a good 10 minutes before our server came to our table. Food took a very long time to be served. It was never like this before.

Sad that they stopped doing the punch cards, but totally understand as it was already a great deal for fresh fish & AYCE. We try to visit during non-peak hours as it does get super busy on weekend evenings.

The food was horrible!!! Service was good... but not a good selection of sushi... its an absolute rip off for the price 35 and not many rolls... everything tasted like it had been out all day. Baked mussles was the only thing that was good. Spend ur money somewhere else... NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!!

I tried very hard not to leave this review- but this is the third time this place has absolutely failed on sushi and service in the past year.
Makes sense- New ownership from Kaizen which was amazing to Namba/ this place has gone absolutely downhill.
Servers all have attitudes and act like they don't want to be there. Most likely because the customers are constantly complaining about the poor quality of fish and food- Bloody salmon nigiri and extremely slimy super white tuna that was dark grey, cold edamame, the list goes on...
This past weekend on Friday March 29th I was served with the absolute worst nigiri I've ever seen and tasted, the server even asked if I wanted her to take the fish back because she said it looked disgusting she mentioned they are "trying new chefs and having to correct their cut slices for all you can eat to Al-La-cart" ?? Doesn't make sense.
Talked to the GM David today (after two weeks of trying to call to let them know their fish actually caused me to vomit) and apparently his standards are 5 star for his restaurant and "they use fresh fish" but also made the comments about the revolving door of sushi chefs and cuts for Al La cart to all you can eat, again what? After hearing the issues he said he will review video footage. Cool, confirm your food is trash and then do nothing about it- it's been a year.
Never going back, this place is garbage and overpriced for lowest quality food.

HORRIBLE experience!
I have been to many great sushi restaurants in the Las Vegas area, unfortunately, this was not one of them. Very disappointing but mainly in the terrible service provided by JENNIE or whatever her name was !
Absolute terrible service our waitress had nothing but attitude. Every time we would try to order she would give us atitude . The experience was beyond frustrating. The only person who was friendly was a young man ( David ) who went out his way to help us !
All in all based on this experience I would not recommend this place and I don't plan on returning.

Boy oh boy where do I start? First of all, the atmosphere was great and the gentlemen David was a great host. Now let’s get to the kicker. Our waitress Jenny or whatever her name was was insanely rude to the point where I had to consult David for a manager’s information. It was ridiculous how bad of service she provided us when we were all very pilot and respectful group. I can’t believe I’ve served all these years overseas in the military to come back home to this type of treatment.
Now for the food.
The food was subpar. The Nigiri was okay but the rolls were horrible. My stomach does not feel right.
Overall if it weren’t for David and the atmosphere I would’ve been much more upset. Please fire that waitress. Apparently there are multiple negative reviews of a female waitress, take action please!

Do not waste your money. I'd rather have Smith's sushi. The first red flag... water served in disposable plastic cup. The menu did not reflect what you'd order. Toro sushi??? What a joke!! The regular tuna was better quality than the Toro. Our server was new to the job and got a lot of our order wrong. We ordered sashimi and got nigiri. Wth?!! We ordered salmon roe and got salmon roll. Lol I thought I was on a prank show. Didn't get some of our order and was even told we needed to order all at once since the sushi chefs are busy, "you might not get your food in a timely fashion". Boy was that the truth. Ordered a bottle of beer and got beer in a glass with ice. Seriously??? Wish we could of got a refund. Lol

Food is always good here. Service can be better. You can tell at times they are understaffed. Food is always good and the guys making the sushi definitely take pride in their sushi and service and often remind waiters to serve specific tables if the rolls have been up there for a minute. Overall this is a great place. I think once they are fully staffed it would be 5 stars.

My first time experience at this establishment was horrible. I have placed a to go order and realized one out of my six rolls was missing. I called the location and they said they would remake it and have it ready along with a complementary miso soup. When I went back, they had not even started my order so I was left in the lobby waiting for 10 minutes when I requested a refund for my experience. The hostess agreed and gave me my refund for the ONE MISSING sushi roll from my $100 order. Not the manager but “the next best thing” on shift came up to me and said the chef would not make my food because I got a refund. I again explained that they failed to complete my order, told me to come back, and they would have it ready, which was not the case. And was now refusing to serve me. I would not recommend coming here.. EVER

I ordered from Grubhub don’t order from there I ordered at 6:15 - it is now 7:50 still have not gotten my order they told the driver it was going to take a long time for this order it was only 2 orders!! I call them and told them if I were physically in the restaurant I would have had my food already . We are paying customers too

Namba used to be great. Not anymore. They are consistently out of my favorite items - hot green tea and ramen. Shrimp tempura burnt and still used in rolls. Freezing in the restaurant when it's 65 degrees outside. They no longer have a punch card, AND they raised their prices. Even lunch ayce is $28. Spend your money somewhere better.

My family and I chose "all you can eat" and it's supposed to be 90 minutes for all you can eat, but the waiting time for a plate of food to arrive was 30 minutes, so we ordered 5 sushi and would have to wait 30 for just 5 sushi, so we supposedly only had three rounds of orders, and the restaurant wasn't full.

Namba Sushi has great food and amazing service Marshal was our server, he was quick attentive and gave some great suggestions for the menu! You definitely have to try the baked muscles & seared tuna if you go they are a 10/10! I love that we can order half order rolls on their menu as well for the all you can eat so we can try more sushi!

I had a pleasant dinner here! I sat at the sushi bar, and my waitress, Ale, was very kind and attentive. I also had a nice chat with sushi chef Denis, and when I ordered a menu item and requested an ingredient to be added, he was more than happy to accommodate me. I was happy 😊

We're officially breaking up with this place. Second time we've gotten the short end of the service stick. Sat there for a good 10 minutes before anyone noticed us, then another 10 after we ordered, just chilling at an empty table. Not cool, and definitely not coming back.

My oldest son loves this place. He always wants to have his birthday dinner here. He always gets the all you can eat and goes to town so its worth the cost. Everything always come beautifully plated and everything we've ever had here is yummy and fresh. My youngest is super picky but had 2 avocado rolls and tempura shrimp (this is huge for a kid that only eats beige american food lol). The staff is friendly and attentive and we will definitely be back and will refer everyone! Thank you!

I wish I remembered our servers name, but he was so friendly and outgoing. He was a tall guy, that's the only way I can describe him. The menu is great and he was so encouraging on us trying things lol. I was skeptical because the rating but glad we went here

First time visiting this place we are new to N Las Vegas so we were checking out sushi near us. But this place was total disappointment. Upon arrival we noticed the receptionist desk was an eyesore of clutter and storage place seems where employees keep their belonging but open to the customers eye. We got sat down and our server never came and we waited around 8-10 min and no one acknowledged us we kept seeing servers just walk right by us, so we just got up and left.
I guess we just need to make the trip down to China town for good Sushi and service.

I came in with a coworker for lunch last Saturday, and it took 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge us at the front even though a gentleman was standing there. Once we got seated, it took another 10 minutes for our drink orders. We got the drinks, and the server, who obviously didn't want to be there, disappeared for almost 15 minutes before coming to collect our food order. Once we got our food, it wasn't bad. We got the wrong rolls 2 separate times we ordered. I would not recommend this place due to the lack of service provided.

We’ve been here a couple of times but this one was one of our favorite! Ale was amazing! She takes customer service to the next level, we had a big party and she was attentive to us the whole time. I’m sure the team was working hard in the background too because food was coming out super fast, plates picked up just as fast…. All of this with a full house, great team work!

Me and my wife had to wait at the front for 20 minutes with 6 open tables within sight of the front door, out of the hour and a half of us sitting at the table our server only checked on us 5 times, we had to actually walk up to the counter to get our check to leave.

Came in for lunch today and was told that we could eat but with no appetizers/hot foods. They were expecting us to pay full price for essentially have the food on their menu. Now that I've come home and seen the negative reviews based off their food quality, maybe it was a good thing that I didn’t eat here. Leaving 2 stars because the front desk employee was kind.

The sushi here is easily the worst sushi I’ve ever had in my life. It tastes like they went to a dumpster behind a separate sushi restaurant and brought the sushi here to serve their customers. The nigiri came out with gross room temperature fish and somehow even their rice was bad. The rolls have no flavor and I’m not sure who the smoker is but I could taste it on the roll I ordered.
We ordered “All You Can Eat”. In reality we only had the chance to order 2 or 3 times in 60 minutes. The service was terrible, and not because they were busy. When we first walked in there were more servers than guests. I guess that should’ve been a red flag.
This is the worst sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to. Sometimes you go to a restaurant that has bad service but good food. Sometimes you go to a restaraunt that has good service and mediocre food. I was impressed at just how bad both the service and food are here.

Absolute trash service. I understand that in some situations, there may be instances where restaurants are understaffed for various reasons. With that in mind, I would definitely give some lenience in those situations, but there's only so much you can let slide. We went on a Friday night, and there were only 2 servers. I had a feeling it was going to be a rough night when the waitress took our drink orders, and didn't even bring those until after we almost finished eating our first order and appetizers. We had to stop her as she was walking by just to remind her of our drinks. From there it just went downhill. She didn't come around for 15 to 20 minutes to take our next order, but it was only after we waved down another server earlier on to order additional food. We placed our order with the 2nd waitress at 6:55PM. So when our original server finally showed up to take the additional order we just informed her that the other server already took it for us, and we were just waiting for the sushi rolls to arrive. She indicated she would follow up but never came back. 7:15PM comes around and our original server stops by to see if we want to order anything else, to which we indicated we still have received our 2nd order and to which she indicated again she would follow up. She comes back a few minutes later with 1 of the sushi rolls and she mentioned they were still working on the 2nd roll. The 1st sushi roll we ordered was a baked roll, which by the time she brought it over, it was cold. Which means it was just sitting there at the sushi bar the whole time. By 7:35PM, or original server stops by again to see if we would like to add another order (3rd order), again we had to tell her that the 2nd sushi roll still hasn't arrived from our 2nd order. At that point, we simply told her that if they hadn't made the roll yet, to just cancel it because at this point we just wanted to leave. There were 4 chefs back behind the sushi bar (2 or 3 at the bar when we first arrived). So this wasn't an issue of staffing in preparing sushi, this was an issue with a server who was unable to provide adequate or basic food service. We had been long time fans of this location even before it was called or relabeled as Namba, but as time has progressed the service and the sushi roll options have slowly declined. My wife and I don't plan on coming back to this location again and wouldn't recommend it to any of our friends around the area.

It's a shame to have to leave a bad review because the food is pretty good and the initial service was quick and it's got a nice feel when you come in. That's where the good stops, after that first interaction with the waiter that we fortunately got our entire meal because it was the last time she approached the table. From that point forward we couldn't get assistance from anyone else even after being visibly frustrated and asking for the check from another waiter that walked by he proceeded to wander around until he caught me looking at him and he suddenly "remembered". Did not catch the original waitress's name but you know who you are, pursue another career.

Baked green mussels are amazingly good!! Rolls bowls soup salads all the food was great. Service was a bit slow however that does not take away from our server whose disposition/demeanor was wonderful, just short handed. I'm definitely going to be back and I hope they will have more hands on deck!

The experience was good for the AYCE sushi, and there is not an all-you-can-drink option to add to it. It's a very simple establishment during the afternoon, and the staff is attentive to their guess. I can't say the same with the cooks after waiting for an order that they either never received or forgot about. But regardless, it's an excellent stop to visit to satisfy your seafood cravings.

Went with my wife, I ordered off the menu, she ordered AYCE. My menu price nigiri was a joke, pieces were smaller rhan almost all AYCE nigiri.
Also, after waiting 30 minutes on her food and sewing three tables who came in and ordered after us get their food, we just left and canceled the AYCE. It sucked that bad.

We ate here a few months and the general cleanliness was severely lacking. Literally everything was sticky or dirty, but the sushi was good with lots of options. Decided to give it another try tonight, big mistake. Food was old, nothing tasted fresh. We did AYCE, as did tables on either side of us. We had to remind server to bring our drinks and dessert, even though we were 1 of only 4 tables occupied. My husband's chicken skewer came out quickly but was unusual looking. He didn't like it but as he was chewing last bite, they brought out a normal looking chicken skewer for him?! He asked what just ate and they looked puzzled. Our best guess looking at menu was pork belly (my husband doesn't eat pork so we were quite shocked).
Normally, I'd never ask normally for a to go box with AYCE but both tables surrounding us after their AYCE dinners asked and got them so when we asked the chef said they would charge us $10 for leftovers. Seating is close enough that I know neither table beside us was asked to pay for their leftovers. I get rules but shouldn't they apply to all equally?
Regardless, we won't be back because the food is inconsistent and the place is dirty. Not to mention the prize vs value. The place has been empty both visits and I see why now. We miss Kaizen.

Wife and I come here very often, not quite as often as we used to as something about this restaurant has changed over the past year or so. The food is very inconsistent in quality. Sometimes it’s amazing, other times it’s not much better than grocery store sushi. The price is very reasonable, so for what you pay I still come. I will say, don’t order rolls with crab meat. It’s the most inconsistent item on the menus. Some days it’s amazing and some days it’s like I’m eating straight sand out of my kids diaper. The Namba roll is the best for sure I eat it every time, however this too suffers from inconsistency in its construction. Some days it looks just like the picture, other days it’s barely even a roll. This place would drastically benefit from some sort of Quality control addition to its food production. I have never ever had an issue with their non-sushi items.
My wife is a huge water person, in fact. The taste of the water used to be the reason she like this place, she used to say “I want Namba sushi water” now it honestly tastes like ordinary tap water.
The wait staff should probably be restructured to reflect more of how 99% of other restaurants operate. The waitresses do not work “zones” or “tables” but instead everyone works everything at once and there is no organization, you either see a waitress to take your order 20 times a minute, or you won’t see a waitress at all for 15-20 mins. Nobody seems to know who does what or has checked on who and when.
Overall, I feel like my rating is probably biased by how great this place USED to be, if I were to eat here today for the very first time, I would rate it much lower.

Too bad this place sucks because of the staff. We tried it new, I was happy, cute place, good ac, a large nice carafe for water but then …the waitress came. Rude, forgetful, and before we were even done, I see her get ready to leave and she looks over and says nothing. Doesn’t she let someone know she’s leaving her table. No she did not quit. Prior to that she was busy talking and laughing with the chefs to notice us. The actual worse part of it is she has gobs of hair and the length is incredibly long and it’s all over the place, don’t people put their hair back when they serve food?
Then to make matters worse, another server comes on, more long hair to her waist, falling forward everywhere then there’s yet another girl who comes on, same deal.
All of them having a great time while we’re unattended waiting for the lemon I ordered, that didn’t come. If you knew me, you’d know I’m not petty. I don’t like to waste my precious time on reviews but my experience warrants this review. I can see why they have 3 stars, I should have believed it and gone to our usually spots we love but we wanted to try something new. Needless to say, between the 2 of us we didn’t eat much and was gone in quickly. The sushi chefs were deathly slow and no one but 3 tables were occupied. 1 table was 1 guy. Food was not good. I ate a piece of sea urchan that was still a little frozen, well, that was new. The cucumber salad was tasteless, maybe a splash of rice vinegar and nothing else like maybe sesame seeds? We didn’t even get dessert. I should have just paid what we ate because it was def not even close to 36 a person but that’s on me. Just a joke.

I gave this place 3 stars because our waiter was so nice & he tried his very best to accommodate us. However the food tasted old, I could tell there was re-warmed hard bits of old food stuck into our rolls, it totally ruined my appetite, so much so that when our second order came out with raw fish on top of our rolls, I was afraid to eat it because the food wasnt fresh. I didn't want to get sick. I would say this had much more of a corner bar vibe than a sushi bar vibe.
