Sophisticated, high-end sushi highlighting fresh fish flown in from Japan served in a basic setting.
In A Nutshell:
-Yui Edomae Sushi was such a great find!
-Vegas has so many great sushi restaurants & Yui is definitely at or near the TOP of the list.
-Don't let the non-descript strip mall fool you.
-Once you're inside you are instantly transported to Japan.
-The small size of the restaurant w/ it modern, minimal design sets the right mood for a culinary art journey of 95% imported cuts from Japan.
-This is a place where you celebrate w/ someone who loves sushi/sashimi & rare seafood.
-They have 3 omakase menus ranging from $190+.
-The Gensen menu was a really good choice, its the $190 menu per person.
-The variety of dishes were profound & I left very joyful + stuffed.
-The sushi chef always had a smile in his face & he took great pride in serving us.
Overall, this is a very, very good sushi restaurant that is expensive but totally worth the money. Check out my photos!!

Spectacular sushi spot. I'd give it six stars if I could. Be aware, you could drive by this place and easily miss it. The restaurant is in a small commercial mall with several other businesses and the exterior is very understated. The interior of the restaurant is very classically Japanese, clean lines, simple designs, peaceful and tranquil. My party of five friends was lucky to grab seats at the sushi bar to watch the chefs work, which I would recommend to anyone. Every bite of sushi was more amazing than the last as we worked our way through the multi-course omakase. Fatty tuna, wagyu beef, sea urchin, blowfish, abalone, and more. The presentation of the pieces was spectacular and the fish was super fresh. The staff were helpful, super attentive, and made our experience delightful. This restaurant is now on my list of places I will always stop at when in Vegas. It was admittedly expensive, if you include the sake pairing with the omakase the price can get pretty steep, but dinner was a sushi experience worth every penny.

As an authentic Japanese restaurant the setting is basic with light colors and natural wood. I recommend requesting the sushi bar sitting if a small party.
The service was excellent, providing a full walk through of the unique style and through the unique Japanese fish. The fish are flown in from Japan and are extremely high grade and apparently vary. The server was great at suggesting items based on my preferences.
The chef shared details on each fish he prepared, which was the benefit of eating at the counter. Exquisite experience for any sushi lover, and a wide selection of Sake to pair with your meal.

Simple and chic ambiance, the cuisine speaks for itself.
Parking: Parking on site, located off the strip in Chinatown, 10-15 minutes from the Conrad ResortWorld hotel.
Ambience: Simple, unique, minimalistic design
Service: Staff were very friendly and attentive, explaining each detail of the meal.
What we ordered: Premium Omakase for two, half a bottle of sake.
Primary difference between the 3 omakase sets was the most expensive one was with the sake pairing, the 2nd menu option had the same items on the most expensive, but no sake pairing.
The last set had a few less pieces than the premium omakase.
Our set also included a blue aperitif, wine from California. (Delicious)
The food: The staff will start you off with a few appetizers, preparing your body on the amazing journey that lies ahead.
Leading you into a soup, they will also bring out the wagyu that is on the menu, including birth certificate of the cow you are about to enjoy. My first experience with this.
You will see a charcoal plate with wagyu and ocean trout with tartar sauce (amazing)
The omakase experience: Chef is dedicated to his craft, each piece that comes together from this man’s hands is like magic, flavors that compliment each other and just melt in your mouth.
The restaurant receives shipments of fish every day with connections across the Japanese fish market all over Japan, the quality of product reflects the price you are paying.
Food that stood out:
The A5 Wagyu charcoal plate, delicious, buttery, it’s a5 wagyu.
The ocean trout with tartar sauce. Just delicious, I love tartar sauce but the meatiness and thickness of the ocean trout was just amazing.
Overall Rating: The overall experience was amazing, great service, food, staff, it’s a very small and intimate restaurant with private rooms if you wish to dine like that. The restaurant is small and not big in the dining room, but everything had its place for when the chef needed to use it. The ambiance could be better, the lighting was a bit off in the restaurant and did not feel like a premium fine dining experience, but the fish spoke for itself.
Come here and you won’t be disappointed.
I’d say if they improved on the décor and the ambiance, solid 5/5 stars for everything.

If you're looking for an extraordinary sushi experience, Yui Edomae Sushi should be at the top of your list. From start to finish, the evening was nothing short of perfection. The restaurant is located at 3460 Arville St HS, Las Vegas, NV 89102, and we were lucky enough to secure a reservation for their personalized omakase course.
Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the modern, upscale décor and the pristine cleanliness of the space. Our chef for the evening, an Itamae, was highly skilled and executed every dish with effortless precision.
We opted for the Kansha, or premium omakase course, which did not disappoint. We began with the house apple sake, which was a delightful and refreshing start to the meal.
The appetizer course featured A5 wagyu tartare with a rich egg yolk on top and a side of salted eggs, monkfish, and a small baked crab full of flavor.
The traditional Japanese Owan soup that followed was a hearty and comforting dish that was perfect for the chilly evening.
The sashimi platter was a sight to behold, with beautifully presented Awabi abalone, Shiokko, Oh toro, Kasago, and Ma saba dipped in a three-year aged soy sauce and topped with grated fresh wasabi.
The grill platter was just as impressive, with perfectly grilled salmon, A5 wagyu, yam, and daikon ponzu sauce served on a hot stone plate that kept the food hot throughout the course.
The nigiri was equally impressive, featuring Shima aji, Zuke, Shima aji, Kurumab ebi, Oh toro, Ikura, Hokkaido uni, and a 3-toro caviar consisting of Oh toro, Kamashita, and Chu toro.
The marinated tuna handroll was a delightful surprise and the perfect lead into dessert: a heavenly Japanese cheesecake and green tea ice cream that was the ideal ending to a fantastic meal.
Overall, Yui Edomae Sushi was an unforgettable experience. The omakase course was exceptional, and the sushi chef's skill was evident in every dish. Thank you for a truly incredible dining experience! I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back whenever I'm in Vegas.

I've been to two omakase style restaurants in the valley, and it's hard to say which one is my favorite. If you want to eat authentic sushi and try fish you've never had from Japan, Alaska, and Norway, this is the place. The nice and quiet setting is a pleasant addition to our dining experience. There are also a couple more private rooms for larger parties to accommodate friends and family.

Amazing food. They have 3 meal options to choose from in the Menu ranging from lowest to highest pricing. we want for mid range option $230/person. Definitely not an every day outing, but worth it. Each course is elegantly served and tasted amazing. This place is ideal for an occasion or customer meeting. Very nice and cozy space with limited seating. We went on a Monday night and had no problem booking. Not sure how it is on weekends.

The quality of ingredients and preparation of the food is excellent. The house made orange infused sake was amazing. The service is very good. The decor is minimalist which is typical. Some minor details can be improved in the decor for an establishment in this price bracket. Signs of wear on the walls, bathroom soap is that pink stuff.

Maybe the best Omakase service on the west coast, without question the best in Vegas. We had the honor of a dinner there last night which we will never forget. The atmosphere is out of a Kubrick film set - austere, sublime, uncomplicated luxury, where nothing is permitted to interfere with the cuisine. The fish, most of which is daily flown in from various Japanese regional ports, well, its unlike anything you have ever tasted. And that doesn’t include the grade 5 Wagyu, the best best thing not attached to a human body that I have ever put in my mouth. A truly luxurious experience. Do not miss a chance to check this box.

My wife and I tried the chef’s table wagyu tasting. We were greeted with a hearty “Irasshaimase.” Everything was amazing. Chef is clearly fastidious in everything he prepares. The “4 ounce” portion of A5 is generous (the photo was taken after i ate a few pieces). Our waiter, Ryan, had an outstanding knowledge of the menu and especially the sake. I can’t wait to come back. Try the kamashita!

This may be Vegas's best sushi restaurant...but it's pretty far from great, or even good. The fish is mostly from Japan, but also pretty much all farmed. Not crazy at this price point, but a lot of the produce has a samey/bland taste. It doesn't help that the nigiri are really tiny and all of the fish is pre-sliced.
The kiss of death is the rice, though. Yes, I know they mill it daily. There's a reason other sushi restaurants don't do this. The rice is too young and too soft. The result is sticky, mushy sushi rice with almost no seasoning. It's borderline inedible.
The tamago, however, is amazing. Angel food cake-like consistency.

My wife and I were blown away by this place. What an amazing experience and we’ve been trying to find the equivalent on the east coast and even the finest in NYC cannot match the freshness, quality and experience. Do yourself a favor and do the Sake pairing. We worried that might be too boozy an affair but it wasn’t…just perfect.

Yes, it’s pricey, but it’s worth it. The sashimi is fantastic. The nigiri is amazing. The waygu just melts in your mouth (and we ordered extra because it was so good). Highly recommend a bar seat. You get the same food at the tables, but you experience is much better when the chef makes your nigiri and then gives it to you right away.

As soon as you enter in you feel like you’re in a small sushi restaurant in Japan. The hostess confirmed the reservation and walked us inside. The first thing you saw was a glass displaying the prepped fish. We saw the otoro that was aged for 7 days. Definitely the real deal. We sat at the round table. At the bar I noticed the displays behind the glasses of fish filets used for the sushi. The order we put in was uni, chu toro, and couple other fish they had for the day. You can taste the quality as some of it was sourced from Japan with the rice pit together. Overall it was pretty good. They also give you your individual gingers, aged soy sauce as well. It might set you back a pretty penny but if you’re into high quality fish and sushi, this place is pretty good. However, the pieces are on the smaller side so you’ll most likely end up hungry after 5 pieces. They do have the omakase combos as well if you really don’t know what to go with.

Unless you want the best meal of your life, stay away. That is not at all hyperbole.
I walked in impressed by the décor and left impressed with the experience. Google doesn't have enough server space for me to wax poetic about the food itself, so I'll plainly say I could have closed my eyes and eaten anything the chef put in front of me, fully trusting that whatever version of what I was eating was in front of me would be the best the United States has to offer.
Those preparing it were knowledgeable, pleasant, warm, and took pride in their craft. The space itself is tucked away and unassuming -- perfect for the delightful intimacy it provides any one attempting to woo a love interest or impress a foreign dignitary.

Extremely stingy with the portions. An order of scallop nigiri comes with only half a scallop. I get that they're flying in ingredients from Tokyo, but so do many other high end sushi restaurants, including some in LV, for the same price or cheaper. This place is just riding on it's past awards.

We left and were not charged for the sake that we ordered, that being said only a "taste" had been poured. The staff were very apologetic...hopefully the problem is quickly resolved!

One of the most unique, engaging, delicious, and authentic dining experiences you will find. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants and this is by far my favorite.
A5 wagyu and wagyu tartare, bluefin, caviar, and other rarities and delicacies are perfectly prepared. The hand polished rice is phenomenal - I know you're thinking it's just rice but you've got to try it to understand.
While the food is the main attraction, the service and environment are second to none. The chefs are an experience of their own worth the price of admission, which is well valued considering what you get. Splurge for the more expensive food option and get the sake flight too. Oh and budget a little more for extra sushi, you're gonna want it! Ask for the special seared A5 wagyu nigiri. I've flown to Vegas just to eat here and any Vegas trip is incomplete without a Yui experience.

This was our second time here. The first thing that will positively impress you is the courtesy and attention of the stuff, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave the restaurant. The quality of the food and the presentation is second to none. Everything was impressive.

Still the best sushi in Vegas

One of the best omakase i had and definitely the best deal you can get at the price point ($120 for 10 piece). The restaurant inside looks super clean and humble. I changed the reservation several times but the staff was very accommodating and friendly. We sat at the bar to witness the knife skills of the chef. I went to another omakase restaurant in sf around similar price, where the decor is fancier but the sushi was bland. But here, the taste of every single bite was solid. It started with the appetizer - the monkfish liver was rich and delicious. Then sashimi, grilled fish, and the nigiri pieces, finishing with a hand roll and deserts.

Honestly fantastic. I ordered the $210 "Kansha" (感謝) and enjoyed each dish. I do agree with the other reviewers that describe each dish to be small, but I was full when dessert was over. You might not be full but you can order more sushi from the menu. The staff was very courteous and consistently checked in on how I was doing. Same goes for the chef who prepared and explained what he was serving and where it is from.
Overall I enjoyed my experience and the food was top notch.

Disappointing for the price. Go to Kaubuto for a great sushi experience.

Portions are mini, even for an omakase. Even the beer was tiny. Quality is there but sushi was not prepared well, its shape and taste was definitely not top quality. Asked for extra wasabi which I never got, waitress changed mid way, left hungry after a $600 meal. Kabuto next door on the other hand exceeded all expectations, even sapporo revolving sushi was more worthwhile. I advise you stay away.

Expensive yes. However it’s not just food. It is an expression of art through food. Had a great intimate time there. Even ordered extra on the side. If you want to try quality ingredients flown in from japan without having to pay the high cost of going there, this is your best bet. Even the sushi rice was in a league of its own. From the temperature to the texture.

Personally the proportion was just ridiculously small. Then again maybe I'm just broke and poor and cant relate but for 120 a person. Each piece of sashimi was smaller then a peppermint candy. Everything was just soooo small...even anorexia people left hungry. But 1 star for taste, 1 star for customer service and a star for ambiance

It's a little piece of Japan in the US and some of the best food you will ever eat in your life. Go! Go now! Seriously. My significant other had an emotional reaction several times from the food.

Looks good but sanitation is a big problem. People works in the kitchen after the chef’s desk use hand but without wash after do other things, to make the sushi directly. The price is another problem, cost of food is around 5%-8% of the price they sold. Looks good but the real is it is pretty bad restaurant.

Take it from a local, you’re better off playing the slots. Don’t waste $700 on a completely forgettable meal for you and your date. I’ve had several amazing omakase meals recently and this was nothing like those. It was impersonal. The food was completely underwhelming for omakase. It was paired with lousy sake and red wine. For $270 per seat, there was just nothing special about this meal, not the way it was presented, not the interaction we had with the chef or staff, none of it. The best part of the night was the date I brought with me and the boba tea from across the street at Tea Station after the meal. Yui Sushi was so bad, I feel scammed. At least you have a chance to win if you play the slots. Do that.

Overall amazing service and food. The chef selection options are incredible and I guarantee you'll never eat sushi that compares!

Incredible! I have eaten in Sukabashi Jiro and Sushi IWA in Tokyo I can compare them. I am going to save a lot of money not having to fly to Tokyo to get great sushi. I can’t believe that this place has been open for 4 years and this is the first time I eat here. If you love sushi and you want to taste and feel like you are in Tokyo this is a must eat! There are not enough stars to rate this restaurant. Definitely best sushi in Vegas!

Loved the food and selection. I would say the ambience doesn’t match the cost, but the quality of the food is above par.

First off let me start off by stating the obvious.
The one star review is solely based on what was charged and what was rendered.
At best this was $60-80 meal.
Food was at best decent.
That's all the positives.
Why a one star review?
Far and off the strip.
Service was at best, meh.
Decor was a joke.
Sanitation was questionable.
While the chef was entertaining at the sushi bar.
In the back on a white wall. There was a large big just crawling around.
Food also came out with hair on it.
Portions were the smallest I have ever seen.
I've been to many sushi restaurants around the world. They take the award for the smallest portions. I'd understand it if it was because of pricing. But not at what they are charging.
Plating....again very subjective... But looks like a 12 year old put it together.
Let's be real here. You are in Vegas, there are a number of better restaurants any direction you point.
We only came here because it was last minute and everywhere else was booked.
Save your time and money. Go ANYWHERE else but here.

Been a long terms customer for Yuri, ( I have been here twice per year for the past three years) , I must said the quality and quantity has been gone down a lot. Restaurant smells fishish and air conditioning is not even turn on when we arrived. All the nigiri fish is pre cut and Gen San only show up 10 min with few interaction with us( we are the only two customers for the entire restaurant). Very disappointed after multiple time visit and I believe that return customers will tell the big different. I will cross out YUI from my favorite restaurant and not recommended.

In an unassuming location tucked in between massage parlors, this restaurant offers high end omakase sushi. Three set courses are offered plus a la carte.... all would be considered expensive by American and especially Las Vegas standards.
The tiny selection of fish is delivered from around the world daily. The nigiri set is offered one piece at a time omakase style with great flourish and presentation. However I never felt that this was the best fish I’d ever had; there is a feeling of the “emperor’s new clothes”. Frankly I’ve had much better in a yokocho (alley) in Tokyo.
The presentation was however elaborate and serene. Diners are offered both the use of oh hashi (chopsticks) or to pick up pieces by hand which is traditional for Edo style. Best to choose both because some offerings are more suitable with chopsticks while others are fine by hand. Avoid a faux pas and dont’t ask for wasabi or soy sauce. The master seasons the fish perfectly as he intends for optimal taste.
For those unable to visit Japan this is a great opportunity to experience real omakase style and for that reason deserves four stars.

Wow - what an experience. The sushi was fantastic. The samples of fish flown from Japan were amazing and the service was phenomenal. My first time drinking Sake. We had two different samples and both were so smooth and sweet. The Owner / Master Chef was very fun to watch. They take great pride in their restaurant as they should.

Genichi Mizoguchi is brilliant, impossibly so, there is no better dining experience. His staff is incredibly talented and polite. The food, the food, I felt like I haven't eaten until I had the food at yui, I could eat there everyday.

Excellent experience, service, and food. Just getting back from Japan, I'd have to say my standards are very high to say the least. Everything about Yui represents Japanese food culture. The simplicity of the restaurant with particular attention to quality makes for a superb restaurant. Our server was a pleasure and made our date night amazing. Im so happy and cant wait to bring my brother here when he comes in town. Thanks!!
