Wazuzu is an Asian fusion restaurant inside Encore at Wynn Las Vegas Resort. Its Pan-Asian menu brings together flavors inspired by Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisine in surprising ways. Wazuzu is perfect for a casual lunch or dinner.
Lunch on a whim brought us to Wazuzu.
ATMOSPHERE:
Located in Encore, the quaint eatery has a striking glass or crystal dragon perched on the back wall. Seating is very limited so wait times can be long. Views are of the casino.
RESERVATIONS:
Not sure if they’re taken but we had about a 75 minute wait for lunch on NYE without a reservation.
MENU:
Sushi, Chinese/Thai/Japanese selections. Full bar including sake.
FOOD:
Black Truffle Egg Drop Soup
Big enough for two to share. Delicately savory and fairly hearty bowl of scrambled-in egg, fresh truffles, bamboo shoots and wood ear mushrooms.
Pan Fried Soup Dumplings (3 pcs.)
Not as soupy as others we’ve had but still very good. Thicker wrapper, moist pork filling and a little soup inside that will squirt out if you’re not careful.
Beef & Broccoli
Tender meat and firm broccoli finished in a dark, savory and garlicky sauce. Tasty, traditional recipe.
Salt and Pepper Prawns
Ingredient simplicity makes this dish shine.
Fairly crisp batter and perfectly seasoned.
Cantonese Chicken Lo Mein
Big portion good enough for four to share. Flavoring was mainstream and chicken chunks were moist. Pricey for a noodle dish.
SERVICE:
Host service was efficient. Texting system worked well and they even phoned when the table was ready.
Waitstaff were professional. Food delivery took a while.
OVERALL:
Intimate selection of popular Chinese dishes. If you want the real deal authentic stuff, look outside of The Strip.

Wazuzu was THE first restaurant we went to on our first trip to Las Vegas 15 years ago. We've stayed at the Wynn or Encore every one of at least a dozen trips since. Wazuzu remains one of our favorite restaurants at the Wynn and we've eaten here at least once every visit. A large and varied menu provides a lot to love. Quality and presentation is top tier.

Standout food. Everything we ordered was delicious. Special mention to the pan fried soup dumplings and the rock shrimp(I’ll be dreaming about forever).
Service was super friendly and efficient from host to expediters to servers.
Atmosphere was beautiful, note the crystal dragon.
The real standout of our experience here was Taylor, he would be an asset to any job due to his communication skills and ability to connect with the varying degrees of personality’s who dine there. Give this human a raise, what a special person.

Wazuzu at Encore Las Vegas
Wazuzu at Encore Las Vegas is an absolute gem! From start to finish, our dining experience was nothing short of amazing. With a party of 10, we knew there might be a wait—and yes, it was over an hour and a half—but let me tell you, it was worth every minute.
The menu offered such a wide variety of dishes that it’s hard to even remember everything we ordered, but each bite left a lasting impression. The sushi was fresh and flavorful, the sashimi was perfectly prepared, and the noodles were absolutely delicious. The Wagyu fried rice was another standout—rich, savory, and perfectly cooked.
Despite the size of our group, the service was flawless. The staff handled everything with ease, making sure we were well taken care of throughout the entire meal.
Wazuzu truly hit the spot and exceeded all expectations. If you’re looking for bold flavors, top-notch service, and a memorable dining experience, this is the place to go. Five stars all the way!

There's a waiting time of 20 minutes, which is not bad. The staff are all polite and very accommodating. Place is very clean, and the ambiance is very cozy. we had the Japanese seaweed salad and peking duck bao bun, both are very tasty and very flavorful. We had a Cantonese shrimp fried rice, well balanced flavor, with it, we ordered the salmon glazed with miso, baked to perfertion, very flavorful and savory. We also had the braised pork belly that melted in our mouths. I will definitely be coming back. My only regret was we've been visiting Wynn Hotel for the last 6 years and this was the first time we tried this place, we could have eaten at this place sooner.

I really want to give it a -5 star! Very good location and environment, the worst service experience, the menu was taken away before the dishes were ordered, and I wanted to order a Kirin beer, but the waiter said no and turned away. I have never experienced such a dining experience! ! The green onions in the fried noodles were not washed, and the roots were full of sand in my mouth. I will never come back!

Good oriental food. Great service. But of course, upscale prices and smaller portions. You spend 5 to 10 percent less at Red 8, another Chinese restaurant at the Wynn. However, the whole dining experience was enjoyable.

I can't rate the food, as I left before sitting down. The host, was so incredibly RUDE and aggressive, not even rude but angry! It was a big turn off so that we walked right out and left. We want to enjoy and have a good time, not being rudely harrassed. The Asian host in charge. ( the other ones seemed nice)

DO NOT GO HERE
Get a Uber to Chinatown for $10 bucks and save yourself money and get better food
This place was probably some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I got the orange beef, and I wish I could rewind the night. Panda Express has better food. It was a bowl of fried beef covered in a slimy goop of sauce that tasted legitimately just like Panda Express, expect not as good. Then they want to charge you another $5.88 just to get a small bowl of white rice with you $30 dollar bowl of slop.
On top of that, the service was lackluster. It took over 30 minutes of us sitting there waiting for the check before we got it.
DO NOT GO HERE

Ordered Vegan Pad Thai, tastewise it was great. Service was okay. Friend got wrong drink and i felt like waitress didnt like that we didnt order higher costly drinks. Crispy orange beef was slightly dry and fried rice of third friend was average. Since my food was great and service medium i rate 4 stars.

Wazuzu at the Wynn-Encore complex is a popular Pan Asian restaurant in Las Vegas known for its beautiful decor and upscale yet contemporary atmosphere. Diners rave about the drunken noodles, vegan dumplings, and fried rice, with other favorites being the pan-fried dim sums and edamame dumplings. Many reviewers appreciate the quick service and friendly staff, with minimal wait times even without reservations. The restaurant is well-suited for those with dietary preferences, offering vegan and vegetarian options. The food quality receives high praise, although a few reviews mention that while the food is good, it may not always be exceptional. Wazuzu also features a cool dragon statue that adds to the restaurant's charm, making it an enjoyable spot to dine.

My family and I visited Las Vegas in August 2018 - the main impetus for taking this trip was to take my younger sister to the Grand Canyon for the first time and to eat at some of the restaurants on the strip. We were staying the Palazzo and mostly went to restaurants inside the hotel and neighboring hotels. I was keen to check out Wazuzu because of the great reviews I read online prior to this trip; we went to Wazuzu early on during our vacation and ended up going there four times for dinner from my recollection - the food was that good(!).
I remember I was in a great mood during this trip as several different work-streams I had facilitated at my old corporate job were building further momentum. I recall all of the positive feedback that my direct manager gave me during my annual review meeting to discuss the work I had done the previous year; she had conveyed to me on behalf of my “Big Boss” and “Big Brother” that they were very pleased with my work and I was awarded company shares (which I still haven’t redeemed). Life was great - I was learning and earning while building solid working relationships with many people across the organization. These work-streams gained even further momentum over the years - it was great to be surrounded by people who took pride in helping me learn and grow. I took baby steps to learn and eventually refined my skills and gained knowledge to grow further - this is what I kept doing and this is how I operate. There are no shortcuts to success and in my mind, there is no such thing as reward without effort - I put in the hours and made gradual progress over the years. I knew what I brought to the table and knew I was capable of so much more. As the old adage goes, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”
Speaking of fish, let’s talk about the food at Wazuzu!
Since we went so many times, we were able to try quite a few different items on the menu; some of the dishes we tried were the Baked King Crab Roll, the Jade Dumplings, the Roti Panang, their famous Drunken Noodles (which we ordered multiple times and we tried all three varieties) and the Panang Curry. The food is quite spicy so I would caution you from ordering anything that is above “Medium” in terms of spice level. The Thai Crepe is amazing and we made it a point to order it each time we visited even though we were stuffed by the time we had to order dessert.
While my family members and I are not interested in visiting Vegas anytime soon, we do have fond memories of our many visits to this restaurant!

Been in this sushi restaurant in the Wynn-encore complex and I liked very much the meal.
I ordered golden eel and some dimsum and the quality met my expectations.
The sparkling water was very expensive, but the rest of the meal was in the range of las Vegas.
Service was good, asked me three times if I had allergies but no problem for that.

We had lunch here while in Las Vegas. We did not have reservations just walked up on a Wednesday afternoon and they were able to get us in despite being busy.

This place is great. The atmosphere and food are really good but the service was something else. John (I think he's manager) was really helpful and accommodating. We were a party of 20 and he made sure we were all able to sit at tables next to each other.
Our server, Tara, was delightful, super friendly and in a great mood even though serving a party of 20 can be very stressful.

Wazuzu is a great Pan Asian restaurant in Las Vegas. I went during lunch time and the food was just amazing. We ordered some sushi, thai curry and pan fried dim sums. For drinks we tried Soju and it was good. The service was decent and it was easy to get seating on a weekday. The prices are decent and would love to try again. It was a little crowded so wouldn’t go during busy hours. The service was a little slow on a weekday. But overall it was great.

Addicted to Wazuzu / been coming since 2009 when they opened and I have to hit it up at least once per trip, usually more than that though. Love the specialty rolls / Crystal Dragon is an all time fav, the drunken noodles, the Mongolian beef and the fried rice are all amazing. This is a restaurant in the hotel that’s been there from the beginning and is always slammed for a reason.

Beautifully decorated interiors, it feels upscale and contemporary. 5*
Service - we did a take out and the front desk where one pays for take out did not know how to process the payment to be billed to our room. There were two people at the front and both did not know how. She had to call the manager. Other than this, they were friendly and nice. 5*
Food was terrible, mediocre at best. It seems that they cater to clientele who may not really know what good Asian food tastes like.
The siu mai at least had some chunks of shrimp but it lacked flavour.
The Peking duck bao was full of hoisin, it drowned any duck flavour. It should just have been called duck bao, remove the word “Peking” as it increases the perception that the duck would be good. It could very well have come from a food truck, this kind of quality does not belong in a hotel restaurant like Encore/Wynn. The flavour expectations from a hotel restaurant are higher than food truck level. Price wise - it was the cost of fine dining with fast food quality.

I am not much of a fan of the egg roll. The drunken noodles was not the best, but not the worst. The sushi tasted like a flamingo with a wife and pups was drafted into WWII and decided to become a chef for the troops at base, cooking the sushi. In other words, the sushi was good. And, they made the sushi for me, because I asked about ingredients, so GREAT service. I did not order a menu sushi. Good settlement. Good establishment. I recommend.

I had the Mongolian beef which had very little beef in it, and was not very well spiced. The rice that I ordered was brown rice, and that was overcooked and hard. I’m not sure if they were just having a busy day yesterday because I’ve been a number of times, but the food itself was almost not edible .

Refined Asian cuisine. Tasteful and inspiring. Hard to fine where exactly the restaurant is. But once in Encore (instead of the main Wynn) it is easier to find the place. Make reservations. It tends to be full.

3 stars + 1 extra since it’s right next to the Wynn/Encore poker room (humor me); the veggies and stir fry pretty good but can make some pretty mean entrees on my wok @ home. I like the Mongolian beef dish, didn’t try the fly rice and I mostly order in poker area or get take out/away on my way out of cash games & tournament action poker ♠️ ♦️ ♥️ but had a couple eat in moments. I had to remind them of my rice 🍚 and my wine 🍷 and they weren’t that busy nor where there any difficult or tough customers but look it wasn’t that bad. It’s good Asian (fast) food in one of the best casinos in Vegas so, take it for what it’s worth. I love that I haven’t paid for a meal since it’s all comps so nothing to lose, just a little lacking in the service department. I love the Wynn though, it’s like top then down (Palazzo/Venetian/Aria), everyone else on down, would eat here again & again & again due to the poker room convenience but make sure you eat your meal before the food gets cold 🥶

Really outstanding sushi and Drunken Noodles (had the shrimp). Very impressed. A little hard to find: enter at Registration entrance of Wynn’s Encore (ask for directions there); take a left and it’s probably an entertaining 100 yard walk. The restaurants & stores are located in the peripheral with casino in the middle. Next time in town, will definitely go back!

Today, I ate their food. Now I have a diarrhea. The only food that I had eaten before coming to Wazuzu was rice, which I prepare the same way each time with no any problems.
In Wazuzu, I ate fish, salad, and a dessert, specifically chocolate brownie.
The salad was delicious, however I am certain that the problem was the fish. The dessert was wasn't bad.
Next time, I am not going there.

Average tasting food. We ordered two oolong tea but ofc we only get one tea bag for big tea pot. We made sure to get another tea bag instead of drinking watered down tea, NOPE! We ordered the Chilean sea bass with the Buddha feast veggies, soup and veggie dumplings and yellowtail hand rolls. The dressing for the sea bass wasn’t the greatest little too sweet and the fish lacked flavor. The veggies had too much oil and not enough seasoning. The hand rolls and the dumplings were pretty decent. Very expensive not worth it.

Wazuzu, nestled in the heart of Wynn Las Vegas, is a remarkable dining destination, perfect for both lunch and dinner. Whether you're planning ahead or looking for a last-minute dining option, Wazuzu is incredibly accommodating. I've consistently been able to get a table by simply walking in, a rare luxury in a city known for its bustling dining scene, although it is a more casual place.
The menu at Wazuzu is a celebration of authentic Asian cuisine, offering a variety of dishes that cater to all tastes. From the exceptionally fresh sushi and rolls to the perfectly balanced flavors of the Fried Rice and Sweet and Sour Shrimp, each dish is a masterpiece of culinary craftsmanship. The surprise elements in classic dishes like the sweet and sour shrimp exemplify the creativity and skill of the chefs.
In conclusion, Wazuzu at the Wynn Las Vegas is a must-visit for anyone seeking a high-quality dining experience. Its combination of accessibility, a diverse menu of authentic Asian dishes, and a consistently exceptional dining experience earns it a well-deserved five-star rating. Whether you're there for a planned meal or a spontaneous dining adventure, Wazuzu is sure to impress with its flavors, ambiance, and service.

Well, we have visited the place already 5 times. But the it was quiet disappointing. We ordered some Edemame as fingersnack, spring rolls, and tuna sashimi variations as starter. Mongolian and Cilantro beef and drunken noodles. Rice is not included and need to be added. After 20min the waitress informed us that the Sashimi take another 35-40 min to be prepared (strange for roh fish)…. But we agreed to wait as we had time. As we still missed the Edemames we pushed her to bring those at least. As a result we got 2 min later the spring rolls for one person and after 5 min the Edemames. Strange. But than we got one main a couple of minutes later the other 2 with the rice. Almost at the same time the Sashimi was delivered. Not a good preparation and experience. Beside of that one dish was getting already a bit cold.
The food was overall good. We ordered spiced 3 in the scale of 1-5. but actually it was a 0.5. The „spicy“ Cilantro beef was disappointing. Not really spicy, partially cold and boring. The quality of the incrediences was high, but the chef mad his basic job and not more. I could expect such a setup in a small low price restaurant but not in this pance inside the Encore Resort of Vegas

This a nice restaurant with great food. It is located inside of the Encore Resort/Casino on Las Vegas Blvd. The prices are pretty resonable considering where you are location wise. The selection of choices are really good. The portions of food are great as well.
We usually get 2 different entrees and split them between us. There is plenty to share. We have been here many times, and this place never disappoints. You have a wide variety of restaurants to choose at the Wynn or Encore, but if you like Asian cuisine, this is a good choice to make.

Wazuzu Restaurant is an absolute gem that has left me thoroughly amazed by its exceptional dining experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the vibrant ambiance, impeccable service, and, above all, the extraordinary flavors that graced my palate.
The decor was a tasteful combination of contemporary chic and alluring Asian elements that instantly captivated my attention. The ambiance was alive with excitement, creating an atmosphere of anticipation that promised a memorable culinary journey. One of the most impressive features of the restaurant was a stunning Crystal Dragon that served as the centerpiece of the entire establishment. This magnificent masterpiece was a true testament to the rich mythology of East Asia and its intricate craftsmanship was truly awe-inspiring. The Crystal Dragon was a definite showstopper that added an unparalleled wow factor to the overall dining experience.
The Chilean Sea Bass glazed with Miso is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to pushing gastronomic boundaries. From the very first bite, it's clear that every detail has been meticulously considered. The miso glaze imparts a glossy sheen to the perfectly cooked sea bass, promising a burst of flavors that mirror the visual allure. The glaze strikes an impeccable balance between the natural sweetness of the fish and the depth of the miso, resulting in a harmonious fusion that is utterly divine.
The sea bass itself is cooked to perfection, with a tender and flaky texture that practically melts in your mouth. Each forkful is a luxurious experience, with the miso glaze serving as the ideal complement to the natural qualities of the fish. For seafood enthusiasts and anyone seeking an extraordinary culinary journey, Wazuzu's Chilean Sea Bass with Miso Glaze is an absolute must-try. This dish exemplifies the essence of modern fusion cuisine—bold yet harmonious, innovative yet rooted in tradition.
I had the pleasure of trying the famous Drunken Noodle dish at Wazuzu which attracted visitors from all over the world to experience Thai cuisine. The dish was elevated to a level of perfection that I had never experienced before. Wazuzu's Drunken Noodles are a delightful experience that will take your taste buds to a world of bold and savory flavors. The dish features flat rice noodles stir-fried with an array of vibrant and mouthwatering ingredients. The star of the show is the savory sauce that coats the noodles, infusing them with an irresistible umami flavor. The name "Drunken Noodles" may suggest a connection to alcohol, but it actually refers to the dish's spicy kick that is believed to be a perfect cure for a hangover. The heat from the chili peppers and the complex blend of spices can be invigorating and leave a pleasantly lingering warmth.
The dish includes a medley of ingredients that contribute to its distinctive taste and texture. Proteins like chicken, beef, shrimp, or tofu, alongside an array of fresh vegetables such as bell peppers, onions, and Thai basil leaves. The vegetables provide a satisfying crunch that contrasts beautifully with the soft noodles. One of the highlights of Wazuzu's Drunken Noodles is the sauce. It's a harmonious blend of savory, salty, spicy, and slightly sweet flavors. The sauce clings to the noodles and ingredients, ensuring that each bite is bursting with an explosion of taste sensations.
Whether you're a fan of Thai food or looking to explore new flavors, Wazuzu's Drunken Noodles are a must-try. The dish encapsulates the essence of Thai cuisine- bold, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. Each bite tells a story of culinary tradition and innovation, making it an unforgettable experience that you'll crave long after the last noodle has been devoured.
Wazuzu Restaurant is not just a place to eat; it's a destination for those seeking a culinary adventure that pushes boundaries and exceeds expectations. Whether you're an aficionado of Asian cuisine or simply in search of an unforgettable dining experience, Wazuzu is a treasure trove waiting to be explored.

I just took a trip to Vegas from Ajijic Mexico as I was needing to do some shopping and a good Chinese meal fix. I was really craving Orange Beef terribly bad. Wazuzu was a recommended place and it really was a fabulous dining experience. The wait was short, I'd say 20 mins. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My Mai Thai was truly sinfully delicious. The Orange/Crispy Beef was well seasoned and cooked perfect. The only additional thing for me that would have made this dish next level is the addition of some thin sliced candied Orange peel to give it a little more Zest. But I will say that's just a personal preference as I've had some done this way and the taste was just next level. The fried wonton and sauce were some of the best I've ever had.
Thank you

The food was fair. Considering it's casino sushi and similar fare, don't get your hopes too high. It was okay for after a show. Pretty pricey menu with fairly bland flavors. Anything labeled spicy wasn't. The fish was pretty fresh - that was a plus. The Pad Thai was REALLY bland. Not terrible, but not great, either. They could really do something with this food too make it really nice.

I waited a bit to be seated, and it was worth it. My server was very pleasant. The hand wipe was the cutest little science project… I wish I videoed that part! It was cute surprise. The hand roll I ordered was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was beautiful! Then my pineapple fried rice was also tasty - the flavors were all great! I dined alone, but it would make a great spot for a first date!

Actually surprised how good this place was. Overall rating was 4.5/5
We had to wait 20 mins for 2 people as we didn’t have reservations.
Great service, good food , our sushi was super fresh! We loved our dark chocolate brownie. It was all good! Cucumber salad was refreshing had a little switch but salty kick. Hamachi hand roll was goood but not great.

Fantastic, professional service from the hostesses to the servers. Our waiter Armando was amazing. The drunken noodles dish was excellent, as was the cucumber salad. Prices are very reasonable. Encore is our favorite hotel in Vegas bar none.

Great food with reasonable price, staff are very nice and provided excellent service. Just too many people visit there and no reversation available so you could just walk-in and put your name in the waiting list if there is no table available, and may be a long wait if during weekend.

Food: 4/5. The food was good. We got the Mongolian beef and there was a decent amount of meat but there were wayyy too many onions and bell peppers. They also charge $5 for a bowl of white rice. We also got the pot stickers which were excellent but it was $13 for 4 dumplings. The crispy wontons had a weird flavor so would steer clear of them. The spider roll was good and was aesthetically pleasing.
Service: 5/5. Service was great. Server was friendly and attentive. They even have hot towels upon arrival.
Atmosphere: 5/5

I was really excited to see that Wazuzu has so many vegan options. We got the vegan pad Thai and vegan eel roll. The food was fresh, tasty and very well made.

Excellent location for people watching. The menu is similar to Red 8 but more extensive. Try the miso glazed Sea Bass and the king crab fried rice. There are options for Dim Sum and sushi as well. Great menu. Excellent service. Don’t forget to finish off with a crepe!! You won’t be sorry.

Cold food. Even had to wait 1hr 15 minutes for it. Not enough fire on the wok?
Will never order from here again!
Thanks for giving me one of my worst food experiences ever and wasting 1.5hrs of my life👍

Amazingly tasty Asian food. Of course, it's pricey, but the atmosphere, experience, everything was worth it. Our server, Tara, did a fantastic job taking care of us. Wasn't able to take a picture of the Tonkatsu ramen, but it was so good! Authentic!

All I can say is that American standards for food are very low nowadays. Poor food flavors and quality.. to say the least. And I tried few dishes.

You can easily walk in without reservation, but during peak hours(6-9) you might have to be on the waitlist to get a table. The staff are super friendly and the food is out of this world. The pineapple fried rice was so good I had to go back again for another round.

Pork potstickers were great.

I was in Vegas recently and ended up going to Wazuzu twice because of how good the experience was.
The food was incredible, the dumplings were especially good. I really enjoyed the Lobster in XO sauce, but thought the dry noodles could have been replaced with regular soft noodles, or maybe it needed a little more sauce.
But overall the vibe & service were great and the good was exceptional. Highly recommend!

Likely to be one of the top 3 Japanese restaurants I’ve been to around the entire country. The selection of food was impressive, everything was very fresh and well prepared, the drink menu offered some incredible house specials that you have never experienced before, the dessert menu was refreshing and a variety I have never seen before. I would HIGHLY recommend this location. The service as well was absolutely incredible.

Our server was the loveliest but the ramen I ordered was disappointing. It came looking and tasting like the instant ramen noodles you can buy at the grocery store for $4/5packs.

2nd review (see first review below). Ate here again - WOW! This place is awesome! No wait to get seated, service was quick and efficient. The food is fantastic! Value for a fancy restaurant is great! This is the best restaurant on the Vegas strip - straight up!
2022 - Really good food, great service! The food was delicious, the portions generous, there were great vegetarian options for the veggie with us. The presentation and ambience was very nice. I was quite impressed for a restaurant in a Vegas strip hotel. Good value to go with the good food. Make sure you do get the side of rice with your meal, they do not come with rice. Defiantly recommended!

This is a first come, first serve restaurant, so you are not able to make reservations. It's a good thing though because this place would be always booked up and no one would be able to get in. The Wynn is a pretty popular hotel with a lot of fun events and shows so having this gem open and available was really nice. We had an hour wait, but it was worth it.
Delicious food, polite and accommodating staff, gorgeous plating! I loved the crystal dragon decoration! It was fancy without breaking the budget. I'd recommend Wazuzu to anyone.

What a beautifully designed restaurant. The red and gold colors are so elegantly brought together with a beautiful glass lit dragon glittering on the red wall. Our server (I’m so mad at myself for not remembering his name) and the food were impeccable. From the moment we sat down, our waiter was pleasant, attentive and personable. Great ambiance and quality. Perfect portions.
