Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge showcases dishes and sushi from traditional and contemporary Japanese cuisine that includes a flare of Korean essence and views of Bellagio's iconic Fountains.
Easily the worst fine dining experience I’ve had. Despite having a reservation, we waited 30 minutes, while someone without one seemingly skipped the line after tipping the staff. On New Year’s Eve, the view was average, but enjoying the fireworks meant disturbing outdoor diners. The food was underwhelming—tiny portions disguised as omakase, which felt undeserving of a Michelin star. At $720 for two, even for a casino, it was disappointing.

Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge – A Culinary Gem in Las Vegas
Nestled in the heart of Las Vegas, Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge offers a sophisticated dining experience that beautifully combines traditional Japanese cuisine with modern flair. My recent visit to this stunning establishment was nothing short of extraordinary, showcasing the artistry and precision that Japanese dining is renowned for.
Upon entering Yellowtail, I was immediately struck by its elegant decor, featuring sleek lines, warm lighting, and breathtaking views of the iconic Bellagio fountains. The ambiance is both inviting and upscale, making it the perfect setting for a special occasion or a memorable night out.
The menu is a delightful exploration of Japanese flavors, and I started my culinary journey with the Yellowtail Sashimi. The fish was incredibly fresh, sliced to perfection, and served with a zesty yuzu dressing that elevated the dish to new heights. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors, showcasing the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs.
Next, I indulged in the signature Yellowtail Jalapeño. This dish features thinly sliced yellowtail topped with fresh jalapeño and a drizzle of ponzu sauce, creating a delightful contrast of spicy and citrusy notes. It was a refreshing and vibrant dish that had me craving more.
For my main course, I opted for the Miso Black Cod, and it did not disappoint. The fish was incredibly tender, marinated to perfection, and beautifully caramelized. Served alongside sautéed seasonal vegetables, the dish was a perfect balance of sweet and savory, highlighting the chef’s expertise in flavor pairing.
To complement my meal, I chose a selection from their impressive sake menu. The knowledgeable staff was more than happy to recommend pairings that enhanced the dining experience, showcasing their commitment to exceptional service.
As a finale, I couldn’t resist trying the dessert—a matcha green tea panna cotta that was as visually stunning as it was delicious. The creamy texture combined with the subtle earthiness of the matcha made for a delightful ending to an incredible meal.
In summary, Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge is a culinary masterpiece that deserves a spot on every food lover's list when visiting Las Vegas. With its exquisite dishes, elegant ambiance, and attentive service, it’s a dining experience that transcends the ordinary. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or new to Japanese cuisine, Yellowtail is sure to leave a lasting impression that will have you dreaming of your next visit.

This is our favorite restaurant at Bellagio. We have gone here twice and on both occasions for dinner and both occasions it was an amazing night of great food, atmosphere and service.
We had the omakase and whilst I don't remember the names of most of the dishes, I've attached pictures of what we had and there was not one bad dish on there. So whilst the omakase is the pricy, it is absolutely worth the cost for the dishes you get.

We chose to dine at Yellowtail for a family outing, as my relatives had previously visited and raved about their experiences. A tip for anyone planning to go: make a reservation in advance! Even with a reservation, we found ourselves waiting over 20 minutes past our scheduled time.
Once seated, we ended up in the far-left corner near the bar, which came with its own set of challenges due to a large obstruction in our view. However, the silver lining was the exceptional service we received throughout the evening.
Now, onto the food: while some dishes were delightful, others fell a bit flat. The gyoza, cucumber salad, and sushi were somewhat average; there was nothing particularly memorable about their taste or portions, which I believe could use some improvement. On the other hand, the tempura lobster, halibut, and kalbi roll were standout dishes that truly wowed us with their unique flavors and perfect execution.
Overall, Yellowtail has a lot to offer, but there's definitely room for enhancement in certain areas. I look forward to seeing how they evolve in the future!

Dinner at Yellowtail was incredible! The popping spicy crab roll was absolutely to die for—packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. Hubby and I have been here twice on each of our most recent Vegas trips. It’s hands down one of our favorite restaurants on the strip! The atmosphere is incredible, the drinks are all perfect, and the food is just to die for! The wait staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful as well. We love that the menu is set up sort of like a tapas place with all dishes as “shareable” so you get a taste of many things that are ordered, though the portion sizes are larger than tapas. A side bonus - you get to see the water show out the windows (especially at night!)

My wife and I have been here twice. Each time has been absolutely fantastic! Most recently we have Roberto as our server. He was the most attentive and personal server we've ever had. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The food was just as amazing as the service.
Thank you Roberto!

The food is just average and way too overpriced. We wanted to eat something after Cirque du Solei O show in Bellagio and Yellowtail seemed to be like a good option. We saw the name of some Michelin chef and thought the food should be amazing. The waiter suggested tuna pizza and some "signature" roll. Everything was so underwhelming and just below average. Rock shrimp tempura was greasy and bad. The cocktail I got was nothing to write home about. There are too many good restaurants around to choose from.

CHECK YOU BILL CAREFULLY!!! Bad service for overpriced but mediocre food.
Check your bill carefully before paying, and always ask about pricing before substituting ingredients to avoid issues. Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way. We visited the restaurant multiple times but this time was very disappointing. There were several mistakes and confusion during our visit. For example, they mistakenly brought us someone else’s pizza. Then we failed to thoroughly review the bill before paying and we later discovered we were charged for a roll we didn’t order ($35 value). When we brought it up, the server didn’t apologize and acted as if it was our fault, offering to let us take the roll to-go or cash refund. Despite this, we tipped generously based on the total, which included the incorrect item, but the server’s attitude was disappointing.
We also substituted tuna for salmon on a pizza and were charged double the price ($35 → $70 per pizza), which was outrageous—especially since a neighboring restaurant charges $40 for a comparable dish. Worse, we were not informed about the price difference beforehand. When we questioned the server, he claimed he assumed we knew the price difference. The manager later defended the pricing, saying the salmon was freshly made to order and had a thicker cut. However, it didn’t seem to have double the amount of fish, and salmon prices are not double tuna prices at the market.
The view is good but food itself was mediocre and overpriced. I can make better salmon pizza at home.
To avoid the same frustrations, always confirm pricing for substitutions and double-check your bill before paying.

My husband and I were in Vegas traveling with friends and the trip happened to coincide well with our 5 year anniversary. We decided to do something special, so we chose the omakase tasting menu with a sake pairing. It was a wonderful experience. Our server was knowledgeable, accommodating, and timely. The atmosphere was perfect. The food was absolutely incredible. Altogether, Yellowtail gave us probably the best dining experience of our lives so far. Don't pass up the opportunity to put your evening in the hands of an incredibly skilled chef!

Mediocre sushi at best. The service was subpar, especially given the cost of the food. I don’t mind mediocre sushi, but for these prices it should be excellent. It was not. Very disappointed. Save your time and go to Nobu or Morimoto.

I love this place. The food and the service are both excellent. My husband and I got married in Vegas and came to Yellowtail on our last night in town. We got a table right outside the fountains and enjoyed dinner and a show from the fountains.
We ordered multiple plates to share and each plate was just as good or better than the last. You can’t go wrong with anything you order.

Not coming back to this restaurant, we tried it for the first time on my husband’s birthday; the atmosphere was horrible. People were so loud. I understand we don’t talk elegantly anymore, but screaming at a public place, there was no need. Anyway.. super loud place. Also to seat outside with a view you must spend 150 per person. The food was good nothing too crazy. Sashimi was 16 dollars for 2 pieces. We were unattended a few times, only when we open the menu they will approach and ask if we need to order something else, and I just wanted the bill to get out of there. Yeah .. can’t say I enjoined it. Prime stake house is way better place, so elegant; so classy.

I am a senior citizen and a First Responder ER Nurse for 20 years now. I have been to the Bellagio dozens of times over the years; I have also been to Yellow Tail at least 10 times. On Tuesday, September 24th, I had made a reservation for Yellow Tail at 5:00 PM for 2 people. This was the first time in 10 visits to Yellow Tail that I ever had to supply a credit card to make the reservation online. We walked to the front of Yellow Tail at exactly 5:00 pm, it was me and my girlfriend and our senior citizen friend that is in a wheel chair and has been a paraplegic since 1981, when she was ejected from a car in Texas. She needed help that day so we were doing our best, and going to get her dinner. The two female attendants came to the entry point and I let them know we wanted to sit on the balcony, like I had done 9 times in the past. They said we had to spend a minimum of $125 each or we could not come in, so basically $375. Never in my life have I seen something like this. I informed them that we did not have the extra funds at that time, so we left. Later I checked my credit card and it was charged $75, I called and they stated we did not show up, which is not true. I cannot believe after all the money I have spent at Bellagio & Yellow Tail throughout the years that we were treated like this. I need to get my funds refunded back to my credit card. Steer clear! Never again.....

Phenomenal. We sat at the bar so that’s what this review is based on. Not a huge fan of their crafted cocktails, but they have a full bar to order other drinks. The Angry Yellowtail was very fresh. The Mile High sushi roll was perfection. The Toban had excellent flavor. It was served on a hot plate with mushrooms. I was very impressed. The kimchi crispy brussel sprouts were also well prepared.

Everything was no less then fantastic. I've eaten sashimi in many of places but the taste, texture and flavor made it seem like I've never had real Toro or snapper before in my life. The surf n turf was also amazing. The ribeye just melted in your mouth seasoned perfectly and the most perfectly cooked lobster tail I've ever had. This is definitely my go to when in vegas!!!

TLDR:
Pros: Very nice location and view of the Bellagio fountain
Cons: Subpar food, small portions with mediocre service and a hefty price tag
We went with a group of 11, reserved ahead of time, 4 of us did the "Omakase" and the rest did regular menu. We asked the waiter if there would be longer wait times or if this wouldn't work for our group and were assured we would eat at the same time. The Omakase was a joke, it took them more than an hour to bring out the first item, which was a cracker with a microthin piece of tuna and an overwhelming amount of truffle oil. We had to wait 30 more minutes for the next item, which was 3 tiny pieces of salmon (not the best quality I've tried) and an overfried piece of onion on top that you get at the Asian store in a jar. At this point, most others at the table had already eaten, and we were still waiting for the third item. It took us more than two hours to receive the rest of our food, it was the quality of Chipotle, they had the nerve to serve fried rice as part of one of the Omakase items. There were 6 items in total, with no additional surprises in between, absolutely tiny portions. They comped 2 of the Omakase items because of the atrocious wait times, but even so, the amount of food they served us and the type of food that was served showed that Yellowtail decided to shamelessly grab $180pp, give us some leftover food with absolutely no second thought to it instead of what it was supposed to be - a conversation between you and the chef with crafted ingredients. I've done countless Omakase experiences and this most definitely was not Omakase. The rest of the food at the table was hit or miss, but not consistently good, I would avoid this place like the plague, unless you want to spend 150$+ pp, eat mediocre food and then have to eat elsewhere after.

We made reservations 2 days in advance for Friday at 5:15. We got there 20 minutes early and there were about 25 people in line waiting for them to open at 5. By the time we got to the front of the line, it was 5:05 and they took us right to a table. We sat next to the window overlooking the fountains and it was perfect. We ordered the gyoza, rock shrimp tempura, mile high roll, and filet mignon toban. Everything was delicious. We waited a long time for the meat after we’d consumed everything else but it was worth it. The toban melts in your mouth. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will be coming back!

My birthday dinner this past weekend was very disappointing. I called 1 week in advance asked for a table outside by the fountains and told them the special occasion was my bday. I get there the host sits me and my guest by the window and say a table out there isn’t available until after 8:30pm the table next to me tells me they just asked us if we wanted to sit outside. Hmm🤔 told the manager he said it’s a $125 minimum and we can sit you out there. I said that’s fine. Very weird. Get my food and it’s okay, we declined dessert and my server tells me your bill is under and I said what do you mean? He said it’s $125 per person. I said well the actual manager just said $125 minimum. I didn’t get a happy birthday not a dessert with a candle, or nothing. Just a nasty dessert I had to pay for because the manager can’t clearly communicate. I spent almost $300 here and this was how I was treated. I don’t know if they thought I was young and black that I don’t know what fine dining looks like but I do and I’m very much used to it. Yellowtail does not hold up to a fine dining standard. I felt very discriminated against, scammed, and not treated fairly. It’s 2024 do better. Do not eat here👎🏽

The waiter judged us from the moment we asked for house water from the table. He was never in attendance. We had to order 3 items from other staff, one of which never arrived at the table.
The restaurant has a good view of the fountains.
The sushi was fine altogether but one of the dishes was a bit overpowering for me. Honestly though, altogether the best sushi I’ve ever had still is from Hosokawa in Brisbane. Maybe I’m uncultured to compare a Michelin star chef with an unknown, maybe Hosokawa just does a really impeccable job, or maybe Yellowtail just didn’t meet expectations. I’d make a bet on 2 and 3.

We had a lovely meal at Yellowtail recently. We sat at the bar and got great service from Kirby as well as expert input from the Sommelier Brian who assisted us with wine selection. We ordered several rolls (our favorite was the "Mile High") and they were all fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is also outstanding with a lovely view of the Bellagio lake/fountains from the curved windows in the dining room. A really great visit for us.

Not a fan of this restaurant. Not a broad menu for a high end Japanese eatery. Filet was overcooked and food was mediocre. It was 60 dollars for this meal and it was not worth that. The best thing was the drinks. Will not be returning.

Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant inside the Bellagio is a culinary gem that offers an exceptional dining experience. While the food is on the expensive side, the quality and flavors make it worth every penny.
One standout dish was the Filet Mignon Toban. It was cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a delight, and it quickly became the highlight of our meal. The presentation was also impeccable, adding to the overall experience.
The ambiance at Yellowtail is elegant and inviting, with stunning views of the Bellagio fountains. The service was top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who made us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout our meal.
Overall, Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a high-quality Japanese dining experience in Las Vegas, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

It was my 50th bday and we decided to go to Vegas to celebrate. Yellowtail is, and always has been the best sushi experience, in my humble opinion, in the Western Hemisphere. Beyond the quality of the food and service, it's particularly special when you are seated outdoors on the balcony and van take in the world famous Bellagio fountains. This weekend was the scheduled UFC fight with McGregor and Copa America at T-Mobile, plus the WSOP, Vegas was jammed. I had been trying for days to get two seats on the balcony for the show. When we arrived Sunny, our hostess had already sorted out all the details with Matt, the manager, Brad our waiter, and Alex our busman. They made sure we got the VIP treatment I was hoping for and got us in the front row on the balcony. It had cooled down to a balmy 97F from 112 by this point so the mist off the fountains felt amazing. It's always an amazing experience at Bellagio/Yellowtail/Poker Room/Garden Area, and on and on.... But this time for my 50th birthday Sunny, Matt, Brad, and Alexs professionalism and kindness made the birthday one to remember. Thank you guys, it was and always is, five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tldr: book reservation @7pm, ask for outside seating (amazing view of the fountain, no sun). Has omakase (7 course meal)
We ordered the omakase (chiefs set meal @$180pp). The first couple of courses were good. However, the teriyaki rice pairing (5th course) was a little too oily and the nigiri (6th course) was just standard. Also, we were still hungry after all 7 courses (the portions were small). While we enjoyed the omakase experience, we will not be trying it again, instead the other items on the menu are more interesting.

Half restaurant, half sports bar. We were seated at the bar area on comfortable high chairs and table. The gyoza, sushi, and sashimi were great. The rest of our orders not so much. Everything tasted like fried onions and oil. Service is a little slow, but it's alright if you wanna take it slow.

Went over the weekend with a group to celebrate a birthday. Our server was fantastic and I wish we got her name! She was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I am not a sushi eater, so she recommended the Filet and it was amazing! I know the rest of my group enjoyed their sushi. We were seated in the corner near the kitchen and had a great view of the fountains. We were headed to a show after dinner, and forgot we wanted a picture outside with the fountain, our server reminded us, gathered us all together and took the time to take our picture, it was very sweet! She really went above and beyond and made the experience even better. If I'm ever in Vegas again, I will go back!

Sushi's presentation was beautiful, but extremely small portions and tasteless. We had a 8pm reservation and wasnt taken in till 9pm. Service was horrible, took forever to get a drink then food was rushed out right after with no time to enjoy the drink. At the end we were handed a device to check ourselves out with no explanation on how to split the tab. Sad to say we went for a special occasion and the night was ruined.

Everything we had was fresh, tasty and a beautifully presented. Our server made excellent recommendations and the Chocolate Lava dessert with Nutella was a perfect finish.

Beautiful restaurant, but honestly some of the worst sushi I’ve ever had. The quality of the fish was not there. Just did not have that clean taste. Seemed old or frozen for too long. Grocery store sushi blows this place out of the water. Super disappointing meal can not recommend.

Fantastic food and scenery... You can watch the Bellagio fountain as you dine. Omakase menu with sake pairing was great... Worth checking out if you want a upscaled dining experience with a view!

Restaurante increible. La calidad de la comida, el servicio y el ambiente son excepcionales. Sin lugar a dudas un sitio recomendado en Las Vegas.

I was very disappointed with Yellowtail as I had heard such good things. The atmosphere was on point and beautiful being able to watch the fountains. When we arrived we were greeted by a hostess who was not friendly and seemed rushed. Our server seemed overwhelmed with a table of 20 that he was taking care of. The sushi was overpriced and only had a mediocre taste and appeal. I feel for the price point much more than ambience was expected. I will not return.

Fantastic sushi place. Recommend the Akira Back Tuna Pizza, it’s unlike anything you’ve tried before. And the Pop Rocks Crab Roll is just plain fun! The Old Fashioned Samauri helps wash it all down. Plus, there’s a great view of the Bellagio fountains!

Yellowtail at the Bellagio offered a truly unforgettable dining experience. While the restaurant itself boasted a stunning design and panoramic views of the iconic Bellagio fountains, what truly elevated the experience was the innovative Japanese cuisine. Chef Akira Back's menu expertly blended tradition with modern flair.
We began our meal with a selection of starters. The Shishito peppers offered a delightful contrast of textures - blistered and slightly smoky on the outside, with a tender and juicy interior. The gyoza were perfectly pan-fried.
For our sushi selection, we embarked on a delicious tour of Yellowtail's creative rolls. The Mile High roll, a decadent combination of tempura crab, avocado, and asparagus, offered a delightful textural contrast. The crowning touch of mixed sashimi and spicy ponzu aioli added a burst of flavor. The Baked Crab hand roll was another winner, featuring a delightful combination of crispy crab, onions, and spicy aioli wrapped in soy paper.
But the true star was the Angry Yellowtail. This dish, a play on the restaurant's name, offered a delightful kick with its combination of yellowtail, avocado, and Serrano pepper.
The Popping Spicy Crab roll, featuring cucumber, asparagus, and Pop Rocks was a surprising textural twist, perfectly captured Yellowtail's playful and innovative approach to sushi. And of course, no sushi exploration is complete without a classic spicy tuna roll. Yellowtail's rendition did not disappoint, offering the perfect balance of heat and fresh tuna flavor.
And to cap off the delightful dining experience, we shared a decadent chocolate cup for dessert. This rich and flavorful finale was the perfect ending to a truly special evening at Yellowtail.
However, what truly set Yellowtail apart was the service. Our server, Justin, was fantastic. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations that perfectly catered to our tastes. His friendly and professional demeanor truly enhanced the entire dining experience.
Overall, Yellowtail at Bellagio is a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable and delightful dining experience in Las Vegas. From the innovative cuisine and stunning views to the exceptional service from staff like Justin, Yellowtail offered a truly special evening.

Had omakase. Spent $500. Was worse than gas station sushi. Service was terrible. Hostess was rude. The beer was fine.

Shocking how disappointing this restaurant was. From the minute we sat down to dirty glasses, a non-existent waiter who struggled to welcome us, didn’t tell us anything about the restaurant, what they’re known for, and never checked on us and never asked how the food was. For such high priced restaurant, there are so many better choices. This was not any kind of experience I want for a visit to Vegas.

Server was Martin who was hilarious, so kind. Food was out of this world.. there was this tuna pizza that is going to force me to go back. A go-to if in Vegas and want an awesome atmosphere before a shwo

From beautiful atmosphere and fountain views to perfectly crafted cocktails and some of the best food you’ll ever have, this restaurant alone makes us want to plan another trip to Las Vegas. The oyster trio is so good we had three orders of them in one visit. Don’t overlook this gem, I know there’s so many options including celebrity chef restaurants all over, but I would rather come here over Gordon Ramsey’s or any other one of them any day! Service is excellent as well.

Very busy Japanese restaurant that serves more than just Sushi and Sashimi. I went for the Omakase menu which basically consists out of the chef choices - all the goods including A5 wagyu steak and some of the finest sea food well presented on 7 plates. I was only able to get a seat at the bar which is a little more noisy however the bar tender was super friendly. The other staff I found a little inattentive as they just quickly served the food without really explaining the courses - at an menu price point of $200 I would expect that and it would pay respect to the chef’s craft.

No complaints at all really… we were sat at a table in view of the Bellagio fountains so we got dinner and a show, haha… seriously though, food was great as was the service… we made reservations on line through 3rd party app and no issues… highly, recommend… it is on the expensive side but as we are in Vegas, that was expected…

I want my money back. Way overpriced and portions are way too small. And I was celebrating my birthday, I didn't even get a dessert on the house. Pathetic!

If you get outdoor seating in nice weather it's absolutely killer, otherwise Yellowtail is just another really delicious wildly expensive sushi restaurant in Vegas. I will say the rolls, and dishes in general, are over-sauced compared to other places. Which is all about preference and wouldn't dock them for it. Everything else on point.

Gorgeous environment. Delicious food. Mile high and seared albacore were mind blowing. Short ribs fell short.
Visited a year ago
We sat outside by the fountain where you need to spend 125$/person. We ordered the tuna pizza... doesn't sound that great but it was AMAZING; it was actually the best food item that we ordered. The short ribs were good, very tender...a bit sweet even for teriyaki though. The side mushrooms and the short ribs were drowned in a butter concoction. I did not like that I tasted mostly butter. It was a great outdoor experience near the fountain, however.

Fantastic food and impeccable and friendly service by Roberto! The vegetarian food was absolutely delicious (still drooling over the crispy fried tofu). Dishes were paced very nicely, and Roberto was such a fun waiter that he really added to the experience. A meal to remember.

The service here is top notch. The moment we walked in, we were greeted and seated right away. The waiter was excellent and recommended what to try since it was our first time here. We all shared plates and everything was delicious. I am the biggest sushi person and I have to say this place has become my favorite. I highly recommend you try the Mile High rolls. You won't be disappointed.

Our entire meal was amazing. We started with lobster tempura and a couple different sashimis and then got the spicy tuna roll, protein roll, and mile high roll. The sushi was so good we ordered another round of each of them. We got a table near the windows so we could watch the Bellagio fountain show(s) during dinner. The service was great as well. 10/10 would recommend and I plan on eating here every time I visit Vegas.

All the food was very fresh and how it should be!
My favorite roll was a short rib and I am not usually a meat eater but would highly recommend the chef tasting! Our group had a ton of fun and we loved Yuzu Margaritas (but a little sweet)

My favorite sushi place in Vegas! The protein roll is my favorite, but you also have to try the popping spicy crab!

The restaurant had a beautiful ambiance, but the service was just okay. In my opinion, it was way overpriced, with a lot of empty seats on the night we went. The sushi, priced at almost $40 for one roll, didn't justify the cost. Our friends picked it out enjoyed it, but it wouldn't have been our top choice.

This place never fails to impress me. From the uplifting staff. Delicious foods. Relaxing atmosphere. It's in a perfect spot for a meal and then a walk by the strip. The filet mignon is super tender and packs a punch of flavor with the shiitake mushrooms. My favorite go to drink there is a samurai whiskey.

We lived a magical moment at Yellow Tail, at the invidual terrace with view to the Bellagio fountains (like 7 shows in just 1.5 hrs), very romantic. The food was very nice, but the service of the waitres Theo was the best!

It is the best sushi in town and the best meal on this trip. Our server, Yukiko, was one of the best we have had in a long time, attentive and friendly. She had a great dinner, even better

Quality is worth the price point. My favorites: tuna pizza, angry yellowtail, salmon toradito, and the lychee martini, so delicious! My friend is a big fan of the protein roll. Definitely worth a stop in, even for a happy hour!

Patio waitress wasn't very helpful. I asked for tempura prawns, and she brought us sushi rolls. I explained I did not want those, and she just started arguing with me. She then said they could make what I wanted but was not about to remove the rolls from our bill.
The rest of the food was fresh, well presented, and delicious! I compliment the chef.
Overall experience was ok. We love sitting by the fountain but won't put up with second-rate service.

We loved what we ordered for dinner. Sat at a high top table in the bar which was nice.
Ordered Taro and Maguro sushi, shrimp tempura roll and the Toro scallion roll.
We also ordered two sides that I've never seen at a Japanese restaurant but they were delicious, baked corn and potato puree. The mochi dessert was very tasty.

Fantastic. Definitely worth a splurge night. We made reservations for Christmas dinner, and lo and behold, got stuck in Vegas Christmas traffic. I called to let them know we were running late, and amazingly, they did still have our reservation for us when we finally got there. The Omasake option was paused, but we were offered a similar dinner option and everything was just perfect. Tried some things I definitely wouldn't have thought to order, but now would again. I think it's clear that I now hold this restaurant in the top of restaurants I've eaten at.

Everything was great until the manager asked how thing were and then asked us to leave because another reservation was waiting. $500 for our bill wasn’t enough to get the service we deserved. Bellagio water show is great not because of your business. Prime was happy to treat us with respect for the money we paid. Won’t be back. You should be grateful for your customers. Your business isn’t busy. The hostess can dress inappropriate and not greet their customers. You should be grateful for us and not the other way around. Sub par at best.

We did splurge on the fountain dining which is a minimum of $125 spend which is easy to do here but it was well worth it. Away from the restaurant noise and all the upfront views of the fountain. Love love love. The food was AMAZING, staff was AMAZING ! I just can’t say it enough.

Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant impressed us from the moment we walked in. The reservation process was smooth, and we were promptly seated. The service was exceptional – our server's recommendations were spot-on, guiding us through the menu with expertise.
The Crispy Kalbi Roll stole the show, a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The Back Tuna Pizza, Rock Shrimp, and Saba Nigiri followed suit, each dish showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality and innovation.

Came here with reservations one day and was able to sneak back in the following day later at night! Had the new omaksase and it was delightful. Everything was wonderful!
If there is anything to complain about, it would probably be that the sushi portion of the omaksase was relatively lackluster compared to the rest of the meal. The yellowtail far outshined all the other fish selection!
Highly recommend

We loved this place so much we went back another night!
I ordered a Japanese Manhattan to start which was incredibly delicious! To share, we started with Tuna Tataki which practically melted in your mouth. Then we ordered Specialty rolls: Protein, Mile High and Angry Salmon.
The second night we made sure to try their braised Wagyu Beef Short Ribs... to tell you I've never had anything SO good before is an understatement! Even though it is a bit pricey, you will not be disapointed with the food!

The worst Japanese restaurant ever, the women seating customers have no respect for people, the so called family omekase was horrible, if your seeking authentic Japanese this is not the place to go. The Michelin chef should go bury his face in his rice cooker, what a disgrace!!

I'm really surprised by all the mixed reviews. I thought this place was great! The angry yellowtail sashimi with a gluten-free blood orange sauce was fresh and light. The Toro-scallion roll... pretty good, too. I almost ordered another one.
Not a big fan of the shooters, eeek, but my husband thoroughly enjoyed, or he enjoyed me trying to drink it (quail egg, sake, and uni) 😁🤣 but, the oyster trio made up for it.
It was all well plated and presented, and the atmosphere was a low-key, relaxed, trendy vibe. We were not rushed, and the service was perfect. Thanks, Justin!

I recently dined at this wonderful restaurant and I must say, the food was absolutely incredible. Every dish I tried was a delight to the taste buds. The standout for me was the shishito peppers. They were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. They were definitely a highlight of the meal.
Another dish that left a lasting impression was the mile high roll. It was incredibly fresh and had a clean taste that was simply delightful. The combination of flavors and textures in this roll was spot on.
One thing to note is that if you're not a fan of truffle oil, like myself, the pizza isn't for you. But my husband loved it and said it exceeded the reviews.
If you're willing to spend a little extra, I highly recommend sitting on the patio. The ambiance is truly amazing, and the fountains add a touch of magic to the dining experience. It was one of my all-time favorite dinners ever. The combination of the fantastic food and the beautiful setting made for an unforgettable evening.
