My girlfriend brought me to this place with her family and I loved it. Nay Nay and Mikey served me some of the best cocktails the Lycheetini and Nay Nays cocktail on the menu named the Imperial. I also had the blue ribbon chicken bites, amazing. They have a great happy hour as well if you’re wanting to try this place a try.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Blue Ribbon! My husband and I were visiting for the first time, celebrating our wedding night after getting married earlier that day. We were staying at Red Rock and decided to dine here, and we couldn’t have been more delighted with the service and atmosphere.

From the moment we sat down, we were welcomed with warm smiles from the management, who made our night even more special by congratulating us with champagne. Our server, Juju, was exceptional! She took the time to recommend a few standout dishes, and every one of her suggestions was a hit. We discovered some new favorites that we can’t wait to come back for.

The meal was incredible, and the ice cream sundae at the end truly was the cherry on top of an unforgettable evening. Thank you, Blue Ribbon, for making our special night as a newlywed even more tasteful!

We had the most amazing experience at Blue Ribbon Sushi the night after our wedding! After celebrating such a special day, we stayed at Red Rock and decided to visit Blue Ribbon, and it was the perfect choice. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel incredibly special, offering us impeccable service and creating an unforgettable atmosphere. Mark the manager went above and beyond and Eric the server was phenomenal with our needs.

The sushi was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish exceeded our expectations. What made the experience even more memorable was the personal touch from the team. They made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel truly celebrated, which was the perfect way to cap off such an important day.

We are so grateful to Blue Ribbon Sushi for making our post-wedding celebration feel just as special as our big day! We will definitely be back for more amazing meals and incredible service. Thank you for making our night so memorable!

Food was fresh and consistent. Item pricing was higher than surrounding Sushi places but the quality aligned with the pricing. I ordered the Amakase at $125 and it was a lot of food. Wouldn't order it again, unless your really hungry, as I feel I wasted parts of it.

Had an incredible drink called the “Tris-tini” – not on the menu, so you’ll need to ask for it, but trust me, well kept secret. The spicy tuna roll had the perfect crunch, and the Toro? Top-notch. Definitely a great spot, especially if you’re picky about your sushi and quality drinks like I am!

Food is marginal. Super expensive for what you get. Now I like fine food and know you have to pay for it, but this just misses the mark for that category. As an overpriced Red Rock joint, it is mid, but as far as food quality/price, there are 30 better joints in Vegas, and that is probably a low number. I never ever give bad reviews, but this place is location driven only. I relate it to paying $6 for a bottle of water at the airport. If you like that, you will love this place

Our post-wedding dinner at Blue Ribbon Sushi was a culinary delight. Wee, our attentive server, guided us through the menu and the impressive Japanese whiskey selection. The shishito peppers, sushi rolls and spicy edamame were perfect starters, leading to the highlight of the meal-the spicy fried chicken, a must-try in my opinion.

Went to Blue Ribbon for my birthday dinner and it was OK. Specialty rolls are nothing more than maki rolls with a hefty price tag (Had to get the wagyu burger to fill us up - it was really good though). Happy Hour items chicken was good and so was the drinks. Service was great and the server was attentive. If you're looking for actual specialty rolls, go elsewhere.

My wife and I went yesterday for July 4th. The food was excellent! We sat at the sushi bar and received excellent service. We enjoy watching the chefs do their magic. They are friendly and do not mind answering questions from the guests.
Chef Dylan put together a spectacular sashimi deluxe platter for us. He is very skilled and made great suggestions for us to try. Chef Johnny came on towards the end of dinner and added to our very positive experience.
We highly recommend this restaurant, not just for sushi. We saw some great looking cooked dishes/food come out of the kitchen.

We have been going to Blue Ribbon since they opened at the Red Rock Casino. YUM and definitely worth the price.
Ask for Chef Johnny and his famous micro- fries at the sushi bar.

We mainly have the sashimi and a roll every once in a while. The food has always been really good. The service at the sushi bar is also excellent.
This past Tuesday was especially great.

Their sashimi/seafood is always fresh and you can taste the high quality. We always sit at the sushi bar, so we can chat with the chefs.
Chef Johnny is our favorite. He does a FABULOUS job. He is quietly famous and his trademark are these SUPER TASTY micro-fries. I had them for the first time two days ago and I am STILL dreaming about them .

The wagyu cap was cooked perfectly. Blue Ribbon serves it with a lava salt. The quality was fantastic.

Our Sushi is always fresh and rolled perfectly. This is our second visit. We love china town and frequently visit there, however, this is absolutely our favorite overall restaurant of all time.

Very unfortunate, used to come here for happy hour a few times a week but no longer will.
They took the wings off the HH menu, but we ordered a salmon avocado roll off the HH menu and the waitress said they could make it into a cut roll. I didn’t know that meant they’ll charge me extra $9. I wish she would’ve told me that it was going to cost more, I would’ve never gotten them if that were the case.

I won’t be going back anymore. Really sad.

*** UPDATE: I do appreciate them reaching out and clearing things up. I really do love this place, I’ve been coming for as long as I remember. The manager is very kind and didn’t take things too personally. I know I said I won’t go back but maybe I’ll try one more time :)

Atmosphere is great , soft music , beautiful ambience .
Food is not good at all .
I had their $55 lobster plate , tiny portion- for $55 you only get half of the lobster as you see in the photo : it was extremely salty.
I also had 2 sushi rolls ( the California roll and the lobster roll) , it was also very salty and the rice was old and grainy . One tiny sushi roll is $28.
My bill was $125 + tips and tax : came out to $155 and I left starving and in need of water due to all the salt in their food .
Service was great . 👍🏻 unfortunately will
Never consider to come back here . Food is just so salty and overpriced for the low quality.

As soon as we walked in I noticed the atmosphere, the lighting was amazing and I just loved the look of it, when I sat down, the chairs were so comfortable, if you go here try not to get a booth because the chairs are super comfy, then we were greeted by a server and she was so nice, not even a minute into being there I had noticed how good the service is, the servers pretty much treated us like friends. The food was AMAZING I ate these little rice things with blue crab on it with seaweed around it and they were definitely my favorite, I had 3 orders of it and stole 1 from each of my family members, I also had the Maguro zuke which was amazing, and stole one of my dad's, and had the miso soup, then I had strawberry, passionfruit, and black sesame mochi and they were all so good. Basically they had AMAZING service, food, and atmosphere, definitely coming again this is my new favorite food place.

my respects to Blue ribbon sushi they do produce very good food.

so any negative comments I make are only in hopes that Blue ribbon may improve their overall QUANTITY per serving that they serve.

I hate leaving a restaurant hungry after I spend $100 on sushi.

I've eaten sushi all over Las Vegas and Blue ribbon while the quality of food is good your PORTION COUNTS ARE 5ERRIBLE.

Sushi portions are SO SMALL. I think you’re better off going to an all you can eat buffet for the prices you will pay here. Service was GREAT, but we did put in our reservation that this meal was for our 1st wedding anniversary and they did nothing special for us other than one person (the hostess) saying “Happy Anniversary.” 🙃 My husband worked at a 5 star resort previously and he was disappointed that not even dessert was offered for our anniversary.

Update 11/15/23: Manager called my husband to thank us for dining with them, apologize for no dessert, and offered a $50 credit if we ever return. I’m thankful so much for this gesture!

I have eaten here a number of times and it is consistently right on point. They are a bit more expensive than a lot of sushi restaurants, but you certainly taste the difference! They have premium fish that they bring in from all over the world. (I only know because I asked) The other day, I ate at the sushi bar. I ordered some hot saki which was fabulous! So smooth unlike some of the other restaurants in town. The service was impeccable!!! I never had to even ask to have my water filled, as soon as it was down about 1/2 way, someone was there filling it up. The portions of fish they give you in the rolls as well as the sashimi it a lot more than you get at other places and like I stated above, it is fabulous quality. My waiter, Raymond, did a phenomenal job. He gave me an excellent recommendation and made sure i had everything i needed, most if the time without me even having to ask. That is an excellent waiter, when they can anticipate what the customer might need. (At least in my book.) I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. They nailed it!!!!!

Perhaps some of the freshest sushi I have found in Las Vegas. I'll make this disclaimer, I play frequently at Red Rock and I usually get my meals comped by the casino, but this does not affect my opinions on this review.
Pictured below is the $200 Blue Ribbon Platter for 4. It can feed 2 very hungry sushi lovers more than comfortably, but I think it would satisfy 3. I can say that the quality and service has always been a solidly consistent 5 stars, I wish I could give more. I will say if you are a small party of 3 or less, service at the sushi bar is fun since the sushi chefs are fun to watch and they'll check up on how your meal is.

That would be great if they gave you the entire cut roll but now they've cut it down to 6 pieces. Where'd the other 2 go?? The food was good at least. They don't seem to have a ton of fancy rolls which surprised me. The setting and decor are super cute. The temperature of restaurant seemed a bit warm and stuffy. First time visit yesterday evening and was disappointed. This is characterized as a Japanese upscale restaurant. While I recognize they are good at sushi they fall short in the limited menu outside of sushi and the poor food quality and preparation. I ordered Tiger Shrimp Tempura and got rubbery shrimp with a thick doughy coating. Tempura batter is light and crispy and it amazes me that they don't know that and overcooked the shrimp. I sent the entire dish back and based on the waiter's reaction it seemed like he had to deal with this issue before. I ordered the wings which were decent. My wife ordered snow crab California roll and while it was decent the portion size was the smallest I had ever seen for the $22 price tag. The wine list for wine by the glass is very limited. For example the only cab available is Dou which is a very sweet and not a popular choice for most cab drinkers. The one positive was the staff who were attentive and efficient. Overall this restaurant does not qualify as a Japanese restaurant because many traditional Japanese dishes are not on the menu. The food is over priced and the restaurants perception that they are upscale is delusional and without any merit.

Wonderful gem tucked away in the Red Rock Resort! The Happy Hour from 3 to 6 pm Mondays thru Thursdays is really nice! Food is awesome!! Especially the chicken wings which have a nice light breading and the 2 sauces that come with them are perfect! The roasted Shishito peppers are a nice compliment to a glass of wine or Lychee martini which is the best around. Place has a nice outdoor area as well. The inside has a real Japanese style ambience to it.

They posted a sign as though they were serving lunch but when we got seated, we were told that it was brunch. Their brunch menu is limited and did not have the items we wanted. Their food is extremely salty.

Best service. Food was delicious. Waiter knew a lot about whiskey. Total experience was outstanding. The waiter that served me the 1st time, recognized me the 2nd time, came over said hello, and of course gave me another great whiskey suggestion.

We ordered 7pc sushi with a tiger roll and their fried chicken. Fish was extremely fresh - no fishy taste at all. And the rolls flavor was well balanced. The rice was not perfect though - texture was a little harder than expected. I'd give their sushi and Maki 4.5star. their fried chicken though. I cannot tell you how disappointing the fried is. For $32, I expected at least better than KFC/Popeyes. But no, the chicken tasted like it wasn't brined (not tender, not flavorful), the seasoning was bland, and the crust has no "bark". I think we'd give the chicken a 2 star.

Overall, overpriced, good sushi, and disappointing fried chicken

It's an ok restaurant, food was fine but nothing outstanding or wow-worthy. My husband likes sushi, I do not but they have a varied menu with non-sushi options so it was a good fit for us. Portions on the smaller side for the price you pay (vs. other similar restaurants in Vegas and other offerings within Red Rock casino) $17 for 4 small tempura shrimp. $10 for a single 4" beef skewer which I will say was incredibly tasty and very tender (no notation on the menu as to what type beef it was.) The asparagus skewers were good as well. My husband said the sashimi was good but he felt the portion was on the small side.

We went on a Saturday for an early dinner (5 pm) and the restaurant smelled a bit fishy (but not overwhelmingly) when we walked in which I haven't experienced at other sushi places. Eventually it either dissipated or we got used to it.

Had date night here and was impressed! My husband and I ordered their Poki, Wagyu Burger, and Salmon Roll. Everything was presented really nicely and tasted delicious. We also ordered the Red Rock Punch and Mai Tai. They had an interesting whip of this but didn't mind it. Will come back for all sushi/burger date nights!

Asked for a table for 4 and was told there was a 30-40 minute wait. My daughter walks up less than 10 minutes later and was seated for a table for 4 immediately. I am the one that would pay for all the food. Seat your "older guests". Teenagers have no money...

Great sushi all the survivors although they can run out. If you sit on the outside or near the back door, the casino smoke is minimized.

Its a good place of a Japanese restaurant, the sashima & chirashi were good - but presentation needs a little work n the fish although fresh was abit wet not moist for my taste. Staff was friendly & efficient.

I’m local. There are only two places in Vegas I go for sushi: Sushi Hiro in Henderson and here. The fish here is as fresh as can be, price point is spot on, and the service is next level! So many great servers who didn’t hover. Sushi chef checked in on me and let me sample the poke. Just perfect.

I still go to Sushi Hiro or an izakaya for more home style Japanese sushi and food (uni with quail egg, negi toro don, kimpira gobo), but if you’re into sushi or sashimi, this is the place!

Last month we went to Vegas for a short vacation and chose to stay at Red Rock Casino Resort. I was craving for Japanese food (not my husband) so we picked this place as it was easy, no driving needed and with good reviews. Unfortunately I felt trapped.

My husband ordered soda while I ordered the traditional Japanese green tea. Soda came first but the tea came way after, and the server simply leaving the cup at the outer corner of our table, with his head looking at the opposite direction away from us. Interesting, I said.

My husband had the short ribs, which was dry and chewy. With that price, I could get a prime rib elsewhere. I had sushi, not fresh and not tasty. The rest of the items were so so, nothing impressive. When we were almost done with the meal, then the server showed up and asked us how the food was. I mentioned about the quality of the beef. He said he would relay it to the chef. After a WHILE, when we had requested our bill, he came back saying they would make it up on our next visit. Ha! What made him think we would come back, with such quality and service. I even had an upset stomach when I was back in my hotel room right after the meal.
