Kaizen Fusion Roll & Sushi

The best sushi restaurant I've ever been to. My husband and I come here about two times every time I visit. The rolls are only the tip of the iceberg; they have an amazing high quality variety of Japanese cuisine to die for! I tried curry for the first time here and will not settle for anything less now.
Because I am from California, high quality fish is very easy to distinguish from lower grade cuts and suppliers. Kaizen Sushi has great standards for their fish and it shows in the food, no matter what you order. Please visit! (owner/ manager is very friendly too!)

I’ve dined at this restaurant dozens of times since 2015/2016 and never once been disappointed. Most recently, we can to AYCE sushi & I was hesitant about trying it with my 1 year old baby/toddler.
The staff were so amazing and accommodating to her! Even brought her her own plate of fruit which she loved! And they let us pick which tables we wanted to sit at, which was nice that we could be tucked away a bit.
Sushi is great and I was continuously surprised by how fast it came out.
Great establishment, would definitely recommend.

I would recommend making a reservation before going in. We had a party of 4 and waited for like 25 minutes because we didn’t have a reservation. But after being seated and ordering our food. It was WELL WORTH THE WAIT. We did the AYCE and it did not disappoint. Definitely recommend, definitely will be coming back. Host, servers, chefs were all great!

First time here today. The food is great! I've been to plenty of other high end sushi places in town and these guys are in my top three. The staff is very attentive with drinks and getting rid of dirty plates very quickly. Overall one my new favorite places to eat quality sushi!!

2024 there is still sushi here. Now all you can eat, 90 min, 3 price points. Didn’t try - menu too small to decide and they were rushing us to decide. Went to another place.

This is the best AYCE in Vegas/Henderson IMHO.

So much variety for a very reasonable price in this day and age. Every bite of sashimi and nigiri was fresh and vibrant. Staff was always close by, cheerful and responsive. The Korean grilled short ribs were outstanding! Perfectly cooked! I am excited to return many, many times!

Edit 7/12/2024: I have returned many, many times. 25 times to be exact. The new Summer Temaki options are SO GOOD! The variety of options is unbeatable for the price. The staff are courteous and genuine, for me the interactions with them enhance the dining experience greatly. Special shout out to Nor and Brooklyn, you guys ROCK! Thanks for always taking great care of me!

We always had room for our oncoming orders, full disclaimer we did go when they just opened, so not much people but still. One take away I had was the music they were playing, it was a little weird to hear/watch Japanese only songs that were also in their language, and acoustics of Frozen songs Lol. Oh, and what would be a good change is to give real soy sauce holders, using plastics Jell-O shots felt like they were under budget for a place that serves good food; still though I recommend this place every time, I’ll probably be a regular there.

First time here. Food was good but not great. The green mussels lacked flavor as did the beef dish. The portions were adequate and priced accordingly. The all you can eat is the best value for your money, (highly recommend). The servers were very personable and friendly. I will definitely recommend this spot to family and friends.

My favorite AYCE in Henderson.

Came back to add to this - This is actually my favorite sushi restaurant in Vegas - and before you roll your eyes (cuz there are some fantastic spots in this city), there are reasons why Kaizen takes #1 in my heart and my stomach 😂

I’ve been coming to Kaizen since 2012, and after tasting many of the vally’s AYCE and al a cart sushi and sashimi restaurants, Kaizen is my go to favorite for all the traditionals and then some. This place rivals *all* of the ayce or revolving restaurants across the city, including Chinatown. The fish is so fresh, you can really tell the quality and cuts are great quality. They have a wider variety of fresh fish on special that you won’t typically see, especially for ayce. Another aspect I enjoy is the other menu items like fried rice, noodles, hot and cold tapas, and other non sushi options on ayce or al a cart for those who want options other than sushi. This is why I like Kaizen for groups, they usually have something everyone enjoys. I usually take friends or family visiting from out of town, and every time they mention Kaizen as a most memorable experience during their visit.
Kaizen is very consistent in my experience, always delivering the great meal I anticipate when I’m able to visit.
I enjoy seeing a lot of the same faces of the staff and chefs when I visit, it feels like visiting friends and having a great time connecting and laughing with them if it’s not too busy.
The owners and managers a VERY generous! They recognize the locals and regulars, and make us feel welcomed and cherished with gifts, special chef plates, complimentary bottles or other offerings that make this place feel like home. I live a busy, single life with family far away, and when I come to Kaizen either alone, on a date, with friends, or with a group, the staff and chefs make me feel like I’m visiting people I’ve known and enjoyed for over a decade - which is true!

Thank you Kaizen! You are a staple in my Vegas experience, you’ve build and maintained your high quality service in all categories for over a decade, through recessions, pandemics. I vote your staff and chefs as a Vegas Local Favorite and MUST try! Thank you for your consistency and dedication to providing wonderful sushi dining experience day after day, year after year.

immediate seating @9pm(was not too busy but steady) had the ayce option.
the service and the flow of food was constant, it was just really really nice.

A big thank you! We came in with a large group of hockey players and parents, after 9 pm and you seated us quickly, got our orders in quickly and we're so accommodating. And on top of it, the sushi was delicious. 5 BIG stars here!

Just left Kaizen now and could not have been happier with the experience. The food was great and it came out to the table quickly, but more importantly, the entire team working was great. They would interact with our 3 year old and 1 year old each time they’d walk by and it was great having our kiddos acknowledged throughout the meal.

Okay so I’m a regular I get the same teriyaki rice bowl every time while my husband gets the AYCE sushi. I asked them to remake my teriyaki bowl, it had half the amount of protein & not enough veggies.
The waitress said “yes of course” then came back & said “no you we can not remake it but we can add a side of protein”
I’m sorry but my bowl was not made how it usually is made… and then you have the audacity to tell a customer “No!”

We had a most wonderful experience! Great atmosphere, very helpful staff and a full menu. There's a lovely young lady (didn't catch her name, but she knows who she is if she reads this) who runs from the kitchen to the tables with the fresh cooked/fried items and desserts, who went above and beyond to help me with my mussels! I work for tips, u serve me well I serve u well, I made sure to let her know she made my week! I will be bringing my hubby back to try the hamachi kama and hands down best baked to MY taste mussels! Our waitress was equally amazing, great job team, I got my Stampy card and will be back soon!!!!

The All You Can Eat Sushi meal is the best! The menu was huge with tons of variety and unique rolls. The Lobster Crunch Roll was my favorite. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. Our waiter and the floor staff were friendly and quick with our plates. It was hands-down the best sushi of my life!!❤️

Visiting Nevada, we looked for some all-you-can-eat sushi experience and after few set backs we found this place. Absolutely loved the food. All was fresh, flavorful and came out quick. Our server Angelina did a great job of making sure we always had what we wanted multiple times throughout our visit. Plates were removed quickly by restaurant staff so we always had space on the table when we needed it. Definitely coming back again for great experience next visit!

Not the freahness I was expecting. Fish tasted old Nothing tasted fresh. The soup noodles were horrible. The wasabi was not spicy. I have to say I gave Kaizen a second chance won't give it a third. I really would like a refund x 2 please. 80÷$$. Not worth it at all. Moving on...I really do want a refund, haye spending money on poor quality (anything)!!!

Tried to give this place a second chance.

Just spend your money elsewhere. Not worth wasting your time for expensive sushi that isn't even the best in Vegas.

We went for Dinner (party of four - double date). Sat in a decent time. Once we were sat, we placed all of our orders for AYCE. We had like 5 different people tending to our table for some reason. We didn't even know who our actual waitress was. We kept being brought stuff we didn't order, and stuff we did order was never brought out multiple times in a row. The service was awful, to say the least, and the food was not we ordered so obviously we didn't enjoy ourselves. Not to mention that despite having multiple people attending to our table they took forever to even ask what we would like next, etc. Definitely won't be going there again was super disappointed compared to the first time we went.

This place is great. The food is fresh and high quality. The $35 all-you-can-eat really can't be beat. The Ichiban commercials on the TV are hilarious. Staff is friendly and attentive.

They could improve in only 2 areas:
1.) The food seems to come out in a semi-random order, so you can easily forget stuff that you ordered at the beginning of the meal.
2.) The wet smell pervading from the bathrooms and kitchen area is semi-gross. It makes you wonder what kind of conditions your food is prepared in. They need to yank up those tiles that have had water settling under them for years and get some new drains and a little plumbing done in there. At the very least, pour a ton of bleach in the area and open the back door.

Still, it will be a great dining experience and a very high value for your money. Get a few Sex Bomb rolls, maybe hold the eel sauce 👍😋

Discovered this place a couple of weeks ago and it is now my favorite sushi place in Henderson. AYCE includes everything on the menu. Food is fresh and delicious. Service is awesome too. Save room for a dessert or two. The pumpkin tempura cheesecake is to die for. This will be a twice a week stop for me. Highest recommendation.

I called twice made reservations at 630pm
And again to ensure reservations were good at 7pm for 6 people after showing up at 730 8ish they told me we dont have reservations and they close at 10pm i was extremely upset i mean what parent wouldnt be.
We were going for my sons 21st birthday right

I live close to the restaurant and always said I would try but never did.. luckily another restaurant I was getting on Door Dash was running late so I decided to try this restaurant instead and I'm very happy I did. Everything was packaged very secure and very clean.

I got shrimp and vegetable fried rice. They give a very generous amount that is worth the amount paid. It is very tasty so much I went back three more days back to back for the same thing. The yum yum sauce is a little sweet but it is a great combo with the rice.10+/10

The volcano lasagna was not as good as I thought it would be based on the other reviews I read. I rather gotten a plain ol California roll avoiding the cream cheese, crunchy crumbs, and avocado combination and it was warm. I wasn't a big fan of the spicy mayo either well atleast with this particular kind.2/10

The mussels were absolutely delicious!!! It's the dynamite sauce that the mussels is broiled in for me!! I would recommend to anyone.10/10

This is our first time visiting this place and we were pleasantly surprised by how amazing this sushi place is. The atmosphere is amazing, very lively and uniquely decorated with Japanese theme. It’s not a big restaurant, but it’s very nice and cozy.
The menu is very big with variety of dishes and options for an excellent price. Definitely we recommend to check their AYCE on the menu.
The food was delicious and very fresh . Presentation of the dishes were very nice. It is definitely one of the best highest rated sushi places in Las Vegas.
The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and fast. Although the restaurant was very busy, we did not have to wait for the service at all. They were very attentive.
Overall: This is definitely a GEM of a spot for AYCE and we have had an amazing experience.
We highly recommend this restaurant for all of the sushi lovers out there. The sushi at this place is top notch and affordable. It’s better than any sushi joints in the casinos, and a fraction of the price.

Maybe it was an off day. All the rolls were mushy, flavor was mediocre and it’s priced a little high. Not too bad but I was disappointed with the quality. Service was fine.

Never been here before and actually didn't know this place existed. Came here on the spur of the moment and I'm giving them 4 stars for the simple reason that the sushi was good, but they used way too much rice! The Ahi was bright blood red which was beautiful but the Sake was a little on the fatty side. The Tako was super chewy. The Masago was delicious. The salmon skin roll was a little on the wet side. The Ebi was a little dry and the super white was tasty, along with the garlic Tuna. The Hamachi was excellent! To bang out the rest of this review, the price was about $4. more than the majority of all you can eat sushi 🍣 in Vegas/Henderson. The final question that everyone asks is... was it worth the price and will you be back? The answer to this question is a simple "No". I can and have recommended many other places that definitely stand out way above this place.

This is my second time coming their and the food was good. I stayed at the virgin hotel across the street from the restaurant, the price was affortable for all the food they gave me. I will diffiently Come back again.

Came in here for the first time here's my review.
Service: excellent! from the time you walk everyone is very welcoming.
Food: rice is sweet. Makes the sushi taste better. However the portion of sashimi and rice could be better. Meaning they don't need to put a lot rice in there. Too much rice with little fish. The wasabi is fresh. Its actually really good.
Ambiance: cozy. This place is small so if you try to dine in, on a busy night be prepared to wait.
Price: $33 weekends and holidays

Really good place. Their ingredients are good quality and their specials are delightful. The sea scallop was wonderfully sweet. I mainly went for dango, which was a special. It wasn't as good as I'd hoped, but it was easily overshadowed by the nigiris I had. Definitely great value for their AYCE price. Even the hot options were pretty, like the tempura udon.

This spot has not changed in 6yrs +since Ive been here! People are friendly and sevice is good.

Food is delicious and preparation is fairly quick! Great chance for my family and I to catch up while enjoying delicious sushi and bento box .

Greatest sushi, worst management of open hours and reservations . I did a reservation, and even when I got there 5 minutes earlier, they told me: Kitchen is already closed, with out no more explanations.

We’ve been coming here for several years & we always have a great experience. The option to order half rolls is a big reason I love coming here. I love the Ice Cream in Your Mouth roll, it’s perfect as a last roll, since it’s like dessert! Great food & staff!

Attentive servers. GIANT menu with AYCE, for $27 before 4p, is an excellent price and ala cart is also very reasonable with portion options - nice if you want to try a few things on the smaller side. But I recommend the AYCE because you'll want more!! FRESH cucumber salad is enough for two. Steamed shrimp shumi is rich and filling with three larger pieces. Silver State baked roll (ordered sans cream cheese) is like comfort food. Generous desert menu ranges from familiar things such as creme brulee or cheesecake to mochi or tempura icecream! Restaurant was even busy in the late afternoon, which says it's pretty popular. Can't say any of my friends were excited about their California rolls.

Customize your own within reason. Hand rolls are well made too ! They use gloves for health and sanitary conditions ! Customer service was great. Good food, management was nice to give us a free hand sanitizer gift . Good vib and good desserts beside the crème brûlée. It could have been better and cook and blaze properly. That’s why I give this a 4 star. But other than that would definitely come back and bring more friends again. Thank you

First time here. Food was good but not great. The green mussels lacked flavor as did the beef dish. The portions were adequate and priced accordingly. The all you can eat is the best value for your money, (highly recommend). The servers were very personable and friendly. I will definitely recommend this spot to family and friends.

Let me tell you won't be disappointed in this sushi bar. I feel so good eating their tonight being my 1st time. Everything was perfect. The tuna fish tasted so sweet and fresh like it should be. It wasn't any sauce that you might think made it taste that way. I took the slice of the nigiri fish and just nippled on it to get the fresh taste and believe me it was . I was attended like a high roller although I left the chef and server a generous tip. Besides that it's the flavor of the sushi the rice it's made with perfect texture and not so much of it. For a whole solid hour they kept serving me with no hesitation. They were very polite and the amount people cleaning and tending to everyone. Most enjoyable night especially for celebrating for the new year. This the only place for me to have sushi. I hope if you are reading this that you have a meal with them. You won't be disappointed

Not good sushi. The sushi rice was a bit soggy on my sashimi so it was a bit mushy. The already soggy rice was drenched in the liquid sauces for my other roll. You can definitely tell the fish was not fresh/ a little dry, but maybe that's expected. If you go ask for the sauces to go on the side. The staff was attentive and the sushi came out fast though...like suspiciously fast.

The all you can eat price is a bit more than others in the area, but absolutely worth it. The fish is always fresh and the variety of rolls are great. An extra plus is that they offer 1/2 rolls. We have added kaizen to our list of favorites for sure.

We came here to check their AYCE and did not realize we came here years ago. Ambiance was welcoming but need sturdier chairs. Love that they have TV screens.

The good:
Love the apps and small plates/bowl. Highly recommend the yakisoba and yakiudon. Hubby and I love it. The shrimp tempura was also great and so was the crazy albacore.
The baked salmon stood out as well.
We also tried the fried cheesecake and creme brulee and both were not bad.

Cons:
Service can be a little slow during peak hours but staff was friendly.
Sashimis were a little dry and not as expected, the seared tuna/albacore were not really seared.
Most sushi have eel sauce but can be requested to not have it.

Overall would consider going back here when in the area.

I gave this place 3 chances to prove that this place was worth my stars. The food was good and they have items that no other sushi bars has, which is worth that 1 stars. The first time I ate here, I was having a bad day so I waved the service which was kind of bad. I always go to the sushi bar on ayce sushi. I had to wait a long time for the sushi chef to take my order and it was a slow day. Second time, I wondered why they even have a sushi bar in the first place since I had to order from the waitress (these visits were before covid). Third time, still very uninviting. Took a long time to get my order at the bar and I again ask why they have a sushi bar in the first place when the sushi chefs doesn't necessarily take orders from you and when they do, it would be like 5-10 minutes when they actually make eye contact. I gave them 3 tries before reviewing this place and it failed my expectations.

This visits was about 2 years ago, so maybe it's time to revisit and see if they have gotten better.

Amazing menu with so many choices. Staff is super nice and very attentive. Had many different items and many rolls come as half rolls which allows you to order a bunch of variety. I will be returning again this week its that good. Get the all you can eat special. I even got a chocolate ice cream waffle cone to finish off an amazing meal.

I found this place i few months ago while looking for a new sushi place and finally got to try it. My husband and I tried it out for our date night and it was delicious! All the servers were very attentive and nice. We got the all you can eat sushi and we tried things we had not had before. For desert we had their tempura cheesecake and it was amazing! Definitely recommend!

The shrimp tempura, Calamari tempura, Mountain and Hawaiian Lady ( not to mention The crazy girl which I ate before I could take a picture) was fresh and delicious. 27$ for lunch ayce. Fish was fresh and tasty. No wait at 115pm on a Monday. Service is lacking. I had to ask for water, napkins, and things I ordered that never came. No oysters available this day. They do let you order alittle sashimi which is rare w ayce places. Fresh Wasabi was worth the 3 dollars. I recommend it if you are in the area.

The freshest and most delicious sushi I have ever had! Amazing service and fantastic menu options. Our favorite roll is the lobster crunch roll, which is hot and buttery. I also love the Korean BBQ short ribs, the iced green tea, any of their Nigiri specials or any of their sushi in general. Favorite desserts are the vanilla creme brulee and strawberry mochi. Will be back again and again!

This is our third visit to Kaizen Fusion Roll & Sushi here in Henderson, NV and the experience just keeps getting better each and every time! We went to the AYCE lunch and could not be more satisfied with the pricing -$27 - and the food -YUM!

However, to me, what makes Kaizen an awesome place to dine isn't just the food or ambience, it's the attention the staff gives their customers! There were at least two to three staff members who would take our orders, fill the orders and check back with us frequently! This in spite of a sizeable lunch crowd (on a Monday, no less!) You won't find many restaurants with this type of attention to customer service and Kaizen FR&S takes it to a new level!

If you have not yet gone to eat at Kaizen, I have one question for you: Why haven't you? Go now! Try the AYCE lunch or dinner and you won't be disappointed! I fully recommend Kaizen Fusion Roll & Sushi to every person who reads this review!

This place is our go to for sushi. There is so much variety of flavors and sauces. (Try the orange blossom roll and the palm springs roll!) Our favorite thing is that the appetizers and desserts are included in AYCE. (The menu is huge!) There have been times when service has been slow but majority of our visits have been quick. The employees here are always so friendly.

Great quality sushi and sashimi! They have a limit for sashimi (3 orders per person) for their AYCE menu, but nigiri is unlimited - I assume it’s to fill people up with rice, but even the rice was good so no complaints here :) would recommend their salmon, tuna, and yellowtail nigiri, and the shoyu ramen and seaweed salad were very good too!

This place is a favorite!! The menu is a lot of fun, with many available items that are not strictly sushi. The rolls are imaginative, and the sauces are truly yummy. Even as an AYCE sushi, I end up getting other things, like salads and soups and skewers, because they are so tasty! The desserts are great (including Thrifty ice cream!), too. The staff is always friendly and attentive. We will keep coming!

Very consistent. Always great fresh food. Great service and friendly staff. Our good friend is a local food service provider and chef. He recommend Kaizen when we were new in town and we a so glad he did. It's our go to sushi place. Great little spot!

First time coming tonight and honestly top 3 sushi I’ve ever been to. Incredible - had the Korean BBQ role, baked salmon, Salsa Dancing, and the Ice Cream Role, Fried Oysters, and the cucumber salad. Service was excellent. The flavors were mouth watering. The combination of texture was impeccable. I can’t say enough about this place - no surprise had an hour wait so make reservations.

My favorite go to AYCE place! I LOVE this place! My best friend and I usually go to this place whenever we have big sushi cravings. The price is very affordable and really worth it!
