I visited on New Years Eve, and th atmosphere was hopping so I give that a 5 stars. As for food, better than average but not consistent. I had the fish and chips, but my fish was a little chewy, not flaky or crispy as I normally would expect. The fries that came with it were tasty with parmesean but a little mushy, so if you like crispy, you will be disappointed. The sushi my partner had tasted excellent, and i would recommend it. I give a 4 for food. For service, a 3 just average. I know it was busy that night, but our drinks came after our food only when I asked where they were. My Sangria tasted fine, but my partners coffee/espresso martini had a bit too much alcohol to be enjoyable. It would have been prudent for the waitress to take off at least one drink from our tab for the late serving and poor quality of martini. I will say the menue has many interesting choices. My hope is that the chef will work on mastery before serving such a variety. Especially in regard to deep frying. I will go back for sushi and a beer sometime. But not the fish and chips.

We came here to celebrate our Anniversary. The atmosphere and food was good but their service kinda sucked. I dunno maybe it is a one time thing but we literally didn't see our waiter the whole visit. After sitting idle and looking over the menu x4 and changing my mind x3. The concerned Barmaid came and took our order and brought us drinks. After lunch, we had to go upfront to get our bill and to go boxes, no drink refills. We did finally see the waiter when he brought the bill to the front desk. Not sure if I would come here again in the near future, maybe just order out? The food and presentation was good.

Cask & Co is one of the best restaurants in all of Lansing. With a wide variety of cuisines and drinks you will find what you’re looking for here!

My favorite is the Elk Po boy sandwich which is at this point my comfort food and I would be remised not to mention they’re fries which are top tier.

They also have a great selection of sushi as well. They are one of the top restaurants I recommend in Lansing!

Leah was our server, I know working in the customer service industry can be rough and you may not get told enough but you’re amazing! Thank you for making our family night out a great one!

Make a reservation if you can! This place gets busy and their wait list is no joke - for good reason though! They have such a wide array of options for food, there is literally something here for everyone! My husband got a burger, I got sushi, and my cousin got hibachi; all of which were amazing! The drinks are tasty and prices are pretty reasonable. Our server was friendly and very accommodating.

As a frequent traveler, and with lengthy stays, all throughout this wonderful state, this establishment has the feel of a very upscale bar with burgers, wings, salads, pasta sushi rolls, and bowls.
When you approach/park, there is a very unique circumstance upon entry...
You can go into the front and choose two different locations and sleightly different atmospheres.
I have had the "Butcher Steak", "Maui Bowl" twice and the best mac-n-cheese i have ever had!
I originally talked with "Curt" prior last year, and he suggested "Butcher Steak" after going in depth on what i was looking for. This now, being my fourth visit. I was blessed with Leah W. as my bartender. Perfect drinks, glass, and plating are wonderful and not overly pricey for the atmosphere. They have a wall of wine, liquor overstocked. Prices are right, and not overscale...in fact I have paid double for less quality and presentation, which I think most will be impressed with as have I.

Really cute place. The food was good but not the best, but will try it again. The service was great when we got it and the food came out quickly. We look at the online menu and it's different here and there from what's on the actual menu.

I ordered a great wall roll, which includes raw tuna, and salmon, for delivery. I asked for tempura crunch to be added as well as additional sauces, which I paid for on top of the almost $20 cost of the roll, and instead the roll was deep-fried, and when I received it, all of the raw fish was completely cooked and the roll was ruined. I called the restaurant and spoke to a manager about how to rectify the situation and was essentially told that there was nothing that could be done because I ordered through Uber eats, even though the mistake was on the restaurant. The manager told me that perhaps there is an issue with how to order and I should call the restaurant and kitchen to confirm an order I placed next time. Very disappointed in the quality of the food that was provided and the quality of service.

Went there for a work Christmas party. Sushi and drinks were tasty and well presented, and the dining area was very pretty, albeit a bit loud. All in all had a good experience and will be back.

Was not impressed. I ordered Expresso Martini that literally tasted like a cup of coffee with a shot of vodka. Very bitter. Ordered the grilled cheese. Bread was stale, fries were cold and soggy. Boyfriend ordered nachos. Instead of real cheese the nachos were soaked in liquid cheese. Not impressed. Service was good, waitress was a doll but food and drink sucked. I won’t go back.

The food was good. The waiter Wayne was horrible. He didn’t ask to refill our water, one from our party got the wrong bill, I specifically asked him to apply the toast rewards and he didn’t. He was rushing us. Great food but horrible service tonight.

After coming here over a dozen times this is the worst experience I’ve had at any place, ever. Makes me wish I’d never been recommended the establishment. Utterly ignored by the bar staff because they were too occupied by their coworkers that were drinking at the bar.

Served us a beer in a glass that had lipstick on it and then proceeded to not take it off the tab. I assumed that by sitting at the bar it wouldn’t take me 20 minutes to get a drink, I was wrong.

The bartender that was supposed to serve us was ignoring us so badly that another bartender had to take over.

Cask & Co. has outstanding food and exceptional staff!

Their happy hour specials are a great value. They offer a variety of choices which will satisfy both adventurous patrons and comfort food seekers alike. Personal favorites include their flatbread pizzas, chicken nachos and sushi dishes. Honorable mention goes to the crab rangoon dip.

I have dined here many times with my family for dinner, and between 4 pm and 6pm, the atmosphere is suitable for well behaved children.

Though all of the servers and kitchen staff I have encountered have been professional and extremely friendly, there is one who stands out as being truly excellent. Her name is Maaut and her energy is over the top! She left a positive impression upon my family the first time we met her nearly a year ago, which has grown with every encounter. She made an effort to learn our names and always greets us when we visit. Maaut is extremely attentive and super fun! We always look forward to seeing her when we visit, even if we aren't sitting in her section.

The wonderful staff (both front and back of the house) and delicious specials have made Cask & Co a weekly destination for my family.

I host an annual scary movie party and wanted to feed my 7 guests via Uber Eats. Our meal arrived hot and labeled really well so we could easily distribute food and get our festivities started. Maaut wrote us a thoughtful note and thanked us for choosing them for our grub. My dish was the hibachi and the yum yum + ginger sauce was very flavorful. I also love the grilled cheese with no bacon.

Wait time for a Saturday afternoon was minimal (less than 5 minutes until seated) - noticed there were several larger groups (more than 6) and service was still spot on. Food was excellent (sushi is great here!), atmosphere was fun, plenty of screens to watch football and baseball at the same time!

Went here with a friend had a few snacks then a dinner and a few cocktails 🍸 it was literally one of the best times I've had. The food and drinks were amazing. The staff was nice and quick. The whole experience was just fun. Left there with my cheeks hurting from smiling/laughing so much. Definitely recommend this to all of Lansing if you haven't tried it yet you've definitely got to.

went on a saturday for lunch and got there as soon as they opened. great food, service and clean place. we had the brussel sprouts, so so so good, pho, excellent flavors. fresh food that tasted great. my mom is vegan, so we loved the options for tofu. highly recommend and i cannot wait for our next trip to lansing to go here again!

Declining quality. Twice in a row, wings were delivered without the ordered seasoning. Fries are soggy, burnt, or strangely soggy and burnt. When we called to politely request a correction, the manager blatantly lied. They claimed we ordered it that way despite the app clearly showing otherwise. Not worth bad treatment for bad food.

Cask & Company is one our Lansing favorites and is gem in Frandor. If you expect to sit down anytime between 5 - 8 p.m. on any evening, I highly recommend making a reservation or expect a 45-60 minute wait. It's a popular and comfortable place so people stay awhile. Service is always wonderful, especially if you sit at the Cask & Co. bar.

Cask & Co. never fails to meet my expectations. This may not work for everyone, but I arrived on a Friday evening without reservations (smh) and was able to be seated as I waited for a friend. Before being seated, the host asked about my timeline to place us at an appropriate table.

With a miscommunication on where she was traveling from my wait was a bit longer than I expected. Our wait person Kaylie (my apologies if spelled incorrectly) was FANTASTIC! Not only were they completely gracious with my wait, but was helpful in selecting a drink from the menu (Lux Pear).

Ultimately, my friend arrived, we enjoyed great food and good drinks with a staff from a local favorite. A surprising bonus, the owner was on site to greet guests and ask about their experience. Cask & Co. will be added to my selected list of business for Love Spark clients.

Don’t be like us, and make sure you have a reservation for a large party. That being said they were amazingly accommodating to the 12 of us coming in without a reservation during the happy hour. All of the staff were amazingly helpful, and the food was awesome. Definitely go during happy hour for bombastic 7 dollar martinis.

We shared the crab rangoon appetizer, which was out of this world. My cousin had the Olive burger and she enjoyed it very much. I had one of the sushi options and they were okay to customize it for me because I'm one of those odd people who don't like raw sushi I like mine tempura battered and fried. It was extremely tasty. Finally, I had a quesadilla boxed up to take home and it was also extremely flavorful and tasty. I wish I had the forethought to take pictures, but I didn't.

Great restaurant for friends and family dinner and lunch on weekends. Freindly service, food is average, nothing bad from pub food but I have not tried their sushi. But restaurant is seriously understaffed at times, and managers will have to do a better job establishing protocols to let customers know there will be quite a bit of wait, or should at least close down some tables for better turnover. I felt terrible for staff members, my server was really late on serving us but turns out he was tending 8 tables while tending bar at the same time, which to me is not acceptable. Manager should have intervened and sort it out. Servers are friendly and nice, they were just too overwhelmed. Kudos for my guy for not loosing his mind.

I went to this establishment last year and had a bad experience. Drinks were not good and I had a chipped piece of glass in one of the drinks. The person I was with was a bartender at another restaurant and told me to just told me to let it go. So I did, and told my self that I just would not return back.

I was convinced by another friend to give the other side a try so we did.
We sat outside. Great environment clean area. We get our order taken. My friend is a regular and states that she comes her a lot because they take Gluten allergies seriously and will make modifications for her. So we order. She orders pad Thai with gluten modifications along with a black dragon roll with gluten free modifications. I ordered pad Thai regular and California roll.

Our food comes out we get two black dragons. Then the pad Thai comes out and my friend asked if this was the gluten free. The server was unsure so she took it back to the kitchen and return saying that they pretty sure it was the gluten free. I’m responding well is it gluten free or not because she can get sick if she consumes it. She responds again I’m pretty sure. Ok no problem. I then responded hey we didn’t order two dragons. We ordered one dragon and one California. Turns out the California wasn’t even put on our order.

To sum it up I’m not coming back. I tried to give the place a second chance and I just wasn’t satisfied. Not fully knowing if the food was gluten free the first time, not getting our order correct and overall lack of communication from serve to kitchen just disappointed me. And don’t worry we still tipped appropriately

Cask & Company Kitchen & Bar is an absolute gem and my go-to spot, especially when I have out-of-town guests. Whether you're dining in, picking up takeout, or opting for delivery, they never disappoint. I was there last Friday, and even though the place was packed with reservations, my party only waited 10 minutes on the waitlist—impressive given the crowd!

I've yet to find a bad meal here. From the Spartan Burger to the Fungi Flat Bread (which, honestly, is more of a pizza—but a damn good one at that), everything is consistently delicious. Cask & Company is a must-visit, whether you're a local or just passing through

Nice clean place. I ordered the Hibachi Grill with New York Stip. The steak was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender. I was most shocked about how well the zucchini was cooked. Crisp and not mushy. My date ordered the super Star sushi roll which was very good as well.

I’m from Atlanta visiting my best friend and this was the best place we at while I was here.

Crab Rangoon dip and Brussels sprouts were PHENOMENAL! I can’t eat gluten so they were kind enough to substitute the wonton chips for cucumbers and they made a surprisingly delightful substitution.

My best friend had the grilled cheese and she said it was the best grilled cheese of her life. We’ve already left and she’s still gushing over it. Bummed I can’t try it. She did give me a little piece of apple from it and it was so yummy.

Our server, Carson, was very helpful and courteous. Such a sweetheart.

10/10 would recommend.

So when I saw the menu at a glance I thought… $14 for a grilled cheese. BUT LET ME TELL YOU. That was the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had. I will probably only be getting the grilled cheese everytime I come! I would make the 50 minute trip from my home to here just for the grilled cheese!

Our waiter was Carson and he was 10/10! He was so sweet and very attentive!

Refreshing originality. There's not another restaurant in the area with a menu quite like this and it's well done. Food is consistently good. My picky 11 year old daughter becomes suddenly adventurous here. Service is like most restaurants these days, sort of a roll of the dice. Also appreciate the ability to do reservations, which is recommended.

Wow we got seated right away! The drinks were brought out in 5 minutes and food 10 minutes!! The bisen Burger and fries were so good! The sushi is also amazing!! Highly recommend trying this place! Our server Leah was awesome!!

I wanted to give a shout out to Cask & Co because their Maui Poke Bowl has become my favorite meal in Lansing! I've tried poke bowls at other places and none of them hold a candle to Cask & Co. Their service has always been top notch as well and I love their fries and great selection of craft beers on tap. This place can get pretty crowded on weekends and evenings but I can usually always find a spot on the Front 43 Pub side or at the bar. Be sure to make a reservation if you want to sit in the main dining area. Thanks Cask & Co!! 🙏

Good food, absolutely bizarre pricing. Came in for the pictured Sunday special: 2 pints and a burger for $16. Turns out you can't share the two pints. So instead of $16 for the burger and beers, we ended up paying $15 for the burger, plus $13 for the beers. Next time I want a burger and exactly one beer on a Sunday, I'll be sure to dump the second one into the toilet to save $6.50, instead of giving it to someone else.

I tried this restaurant out for the first time last night. I went on a Thursday and it was $10 appetizers. I ordered the crab Rangoon dip. It was pretty good. For my main, I ordered the hot chicken sandwich which did come with fries. I thought the fries were just ok. I did ask for a drink refill and the waiter never brought it.

Our table wasn’t given physical menus, so we scanned the QR codes on the table. I will say the mobile site is not user friendly in the slightest. The menu is too extensive to try to navigate on your phone and the drop down header gets in the way of you reading the options. It was quite frustrating trying to see the drink options on the bar menu.

Also, there were price discrepancies. The menu said my sandwich was $15 but the tab came back saying $16. Which could just be an outdated website/menu, but that doesn’t look good in my opinion.

We really enjoyed a date night with some friends. I got the crab rangoon dip and really liked the naan that was included. I also got the hanger steak entree, which was also delicious. Great selection of drinks and good atmosphere. Definitely glad I made a reservation as it was very busy on a Friday night. When the weather gets warmer we look forward to trying out the patio seating!

We sat outside on the patio on a Saturday evening. The patio was nice, the parking lot wasn't loud and it was relaxing even with a full patio. It was our servers last day and she was AMAZING. We really loved her.
As far as the food, the fried pickles were the best I've ever had. The pickle and the coating was crunchy. Where the 2 stars come in is the shrimp tacos and burger. The shrimp tacos had no flavor. Everything on the taco was bland and honestly if I couldn't see what I was eating I wouldn't have known. My friends burger was overcooked and dry.
The food is just blah.

First time was great! Decided to go back on my birthday. In an empty restaurant they said six of us at a four-person table. Served us water out of a obviously filthy bottle all you had to do was look at it I seen the dirt from 2 ft away as she was pouring it, debris floating in our water. Chips were stale and the food was mediocre at best very dry. I can't imagine going back especially at the prices they charge and the obvious lack of cleanliness. Very disappointed 😞 I feel I was very generous with the 2 stars considering the first time was good.

Just had my birthday dinner here and the food was amazing as always. This time in particular I have to give a shout out to our server Courtney who made the entire evening so much fun with her outstanding enthusiastic personality, extensive knowledge of the menu, ability to offer perfect suggestions and getting everything 100% correct and was so efficient with her timing and checking in on how everything was. Hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten out a lot! 😉 brought a couple newbies with me and they loved their food and Courtney as well! I’d give more stars if I could!

Been here four or five times. Great place. Exceptional wait staff....AND the food is AMAZING. I had the Mediterranean Chicken tacos the last two times. Best thing in Lansing area, in my opinion.

Make a reservation if you can! This place gets busy and their wait list is no joke - for good reason though! They have such a wide array of options for food, there is literally something here for everyone! My husband got a burger, I got sushi, and my cousin got hibachi; all of which were amazing! The drinks are tasty and prices are pretty reasonable. Our server was friendly and very accommodating.

This is a hidden gem 💎 tucked in a plaza close to Frandor. We went here for my BFFs birthday celebration 🎉 and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are hip and the food is delicious! I had the chicken hibachi for my main meal. It was divine!

Overall, this place is amazing. I was a little nervous with how much variety they had on their menu that the food might not be very good but boy was I wrong. The only reason I didn't give the atmosphere a better grade is that they have too many TVs. It was very distracting and hard to pay attention to the people I was with.

The only thing better than the bar staff, and the atmosphere is the food. The Pho was better than two Vietnamese restaurants that I've been to, and the sushi was on point. All in all 10 of 10, would recommend.

Went with my boyfriend and his family; his dad got food poisoning from a medium-made burger. My flatbread had something hard & inedible on top. And this is the same place that serves sushi, which is a little concerning.

Service was mediocre. Servers were baseline nice, but did not do much unless we flagged them over. The moment we signed the bill they completely cleared the table (other than our drinks) and stood over us, waiting for us to leave so they could sit another table. Only one of us got up and they removed the rest of the drinks. Seemed very rushed and in your face for no good reason.

Ok, so I have to qualify my rating with the fact that I didn't go there and drink beer. I know that's something they are known for, but it was lunch time. Maybe the food would have worked better if I had. I ordered the short rib open-faced sandwich. It came with five small, very thinly sliced pieces of meat on a very large portion of coleslaw. It didn't work because the slaw made the bread on the bottom very soggy and the food had a very Gordon's Food Service taste to it. Nothing against Gordon's, but when I go out to eat I want something more than canned food. I gave them a four because my husband ordered the fish and chips and was very happy with his food. He said the batter on the fish was light, crispy and not oily.

We had a wonderful experience! It was our first visit. The service(Muara) was great and the food was spot on.
Elk Sausage & Pepper FLATBREAD Amazing! The Great Wall Specialty Roll was one of the largest rolls I have ever had. YUM!!
I was so hungry I forgot to get a picture before we ate it all. lol
The steak and shrimp habachi plate was perfectly cooked and wonderfully flavored!
Highly recommend you stop in if you have the opportunity. Definitely going back when in the area. So many things we still want to try.

Been managing restaurants my whole life including fine dining. Did some research with my girl on our day trip and came across this gem. The atmosphere is spot on. Rustic farmhouse meets modern pub. Great music and vibes . Such an expansive menu that has a lot of thought and craft into the flavor profiles and presentation of these dishes. Drinks were well presented will balanced flavors and just worked. We had the Mediterranean chicken tacos and the chicken pad Thai. It’s in the details . The Nan bread was hot and slightly toasted, well balanced with just enough curry to add a kick that was savory and spicy. The pad Thai had all the traditional flavors and noodles were spot on. Fresh lime cut the spice and made for a truly mouth watering experience. Our server Courtney took her time and walked us through the menu and was fantastic !! And lastly the hostess working spent the entire time clearing everyone’s tables while she wasn’t seating guests. This is the standard when going out to dinner. Well done!!! Can’t wait to come back !!!

This restaurant is an excellent spot for gathering with friends and enjoying delicious food and drinks.

We had booked a table a week in advanced for a friends birthday yet we still had to wait 10 mins after the reservation time for our table.

If I were to return, I would definitely order the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Considering myself a connoisseur of hot chicken sandwiches, I can confidently say this one ranks among the top tier.

I also indulged in some cheesecake, which, although a bit pricey, was delicious. However, their dessert menu seemed outdated, as the two original options I desired were unavailable.

In summary, I would certainly revisit this establishment. It offers a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for gatherings with friends or family.

Went out to eat and to specifically watch the MSU basketball game. We chose Cask and Co. because it prides itself on being the place to be for game day. We had made a reservation for 7:30 Pm but when we arrived and checked in with the host, they said we had to wait while they got everything ready. 20 minutes later and we still were not sat. We waited standing up by the host stand as people began to come in and get seated right away. We finally stepped in and asked, they had confused us with a walk in. They apologized and sat us at the next table to open up. Dinner was pretty great but we had gotten a sushi roll that wasn’t very great. My date and I had only 2 pieces. We would have liked to exchange that roll, however another 20 minutes passed by before we saw our waitress. I told her that we weren’t very pleased with the roll but no accommodation was made or any apologies. We couldn’t even watch the ball game because the two tv’s in front of us were not working properly and the channel could not be changed. I won’t be coming back here any time soon with the service being as bad as it was. They didn’t make it right. The food was great for the most part!
