My fiance and I visited Tiger Lily the other night, for a bit of a celebration date night. It was our first time ever visiting this restaurant. They were very busy, as I would imagine that they are most every night. We sat at the bar and we're greeted by two very friendly servers, and we ordered a few cocktails and an appetizer to start off the evening. Then we picked a few items from across their menu to share with each other, and Oh MY Goodness it was truly one of the best dining experiences we have ever had ever. The food was Outstanding, the two servers were great the entire evening, There was one minor issue, but it was completely an accident, that our server had mistakenly forgotten to put in some of our order. But even that couldn't deter our wonderful experience. The bartenders were still so amazing.
and once they found out that we had driven up all the way from Toledo, OH for our date night, That had went and got their manager (not by our request) just to tell him about us, and he came out , and introduced himself and thanked us for coming all the way up there. But their food presentation and great cocktails along with those two wonderful bartenders Ashley and Simon I believe were their names made for a very special evening for us.

I asked for my steak medium well, but they undercooked it. Other than that, the food was good. The restaurant was understaffed, so it took a long time to order and receive our food. If you are going to go, I would recommend going when it is not very busy.

Good food, sort of weird service. Overall I recommend and will go back but not sure what was up with the staff, sort of an awkward vibe, strange pacing, and lots of different people working the table- mostly that was ok but meant we got doubles of certain things (like soy sauce) and then didn’t get other things (like silverware). Highly recommend the items from the grill, best value for money on the menu.

Friends took me here for my birthday. Very swanky atmosphere. Had the Pork Dumplings and Crab Rangoon to start. Very good. Loved the dipping sauces. Then the Tigerlily roll. Yummy but definitely has a kick on the backend. Also, tried the Shrimp Robata and the Pork Belly Robata. Both tasty but preferred the Pork Belly. I would definitely go back. Easy parking in the garage behind the restaurant. And went to their "hidden" speakeasy Tiki bar after. It's a nice night out on the town. Definitely check out the bathroom. At least in the women's it was colorfully painted. Very awesome artwork. And in the stall rooms there is a push button bathroom noise cover-up machine that is obnoxiously loud but hilarious and slightly embarrassing all at once. A must see lol.

A NYE dinner reservation can give any restaurant a pass regarding service, but Tiger Lilly didn’t need one. Our service was perfect. Steven was so knowledgeable about the menu, offering suggestions and he was so polite and friendly.
The food was amazing with so many options! We shared each other’s sushi rolls and salads. The Brussels sprouts cannot be beat anywhere.
With the atmosphere so fresh and comfortable, this is now our go-to for a great dinner out.

We had an AMAZING NYE dinner and the food was delish! But we were more impressed with our server,Steven, and, his teammate, Ian. After our dinner, one of our friends was waiting for her Uber ride to show up and they never did. Steven and Ian (who was supposed to be heading home) made sure she found another driver and Ian waited with her outside until she was safely in the car. TOP NOTCH customer service, gentlemen!! Thank you SO much 🤗❤️🍾🥂

Sushi tasted fishy and my friend took us out for dinner before a game. He said surprise us with some good sake. Dude comes back with the most expensive sake they had for all of us…. really? I understand I didn’t have to pay, but that was dirty lol I barely finished my sushi it was OK, but I’ll give this place another shot some day as it somehow has good reviews. So many better options without a doubt. Will come back, but honestly am not excited to I just don’t want to give a final judgement without giving it another chance, but the waiter was wack lol. Had 0 good suggestions and would only offer the most expensive things.

I scheduled a reservation online and thought it was good and when I showed up, I realized that I didn’t click the button to actually reserve my reservation… But when I got there, I was greeted by this wonderful woman who helped me figure out what went wrong and we were able to have dinner in the Speak Easy! Fantastic food stellar service, beautiful environment. I cannot wait to go back. Thank you for helping us have a fantastic dinner.!!!

Absolutely fantastic meal. Everything was wonderful. Our server, Alex, was attentive, personable, and helped make it a fun night. The cocktails were very good and enjoyable. I had the Mists over Kanto and Tiger Smoke.
The food was delicious. Alex recommended the spicy garlic edamame as an appetizer. These are probably the best I've ever had. The sushi was top notch. We started with the aburi sake and the Shikotsu roll, and finished with the rainbow supreme and karai tuna. All featured high quality ingredients and prefect preparation and tasted wonderful. Overall one of the best restaurant experiences I've had.

The new Mt. Fuji roll is literally the best roll I’ve ever had. If I was on death row, I would ask for Tigerlily’s Mt. Fuji as my last meal. It’s that good. Sweet, a little spicy, and it has the best combo of textures.
I have been coming to Tigerlily for well over a year now, and every time it is confirmed why it’s my favorite. The menu has AMAZING staples like the Brussels sprouts and pork belly bao buns, but the menu rotates pretty often so there’s always new and exciting options.
Chef Chris is so good, he clearly knows what he’s doing since he created the Mt. Fuji so I would trust his opinion on literally any sushi roll. Caitlyn is a great server, she has great suggestions and made it a great experience.

the waitress that served us is EXTREMELY rude. Wait time for food is insane. i had to wait an hour and 30 minutes for a salmon. however the manager is very kind and reasonable but unfortunately the waitress that served us is the reason why i will not be returning

I ordered takeout, and the food was scheduled to be ready at 9:25 PM. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting an additional 40 minutes because they were running behind. When I finally received my order, the food was overly salty and not enjoyable. I also tried calling the restaurant to address the issue, but their phone line was constantly busy. Disappointing experience overall.

What a beautiful, vibey restaurant in Ferndale. Love it! We went at prime time on a Saturday and were seated pretty much right away for our 7:30 reservation. The ambiance is lively and fun without being too loud, the service was great even though they were short-staffed, and the food and cocktails were top-notch.
Our handsome waiter took the time to answer all of our questions and make suggestions, and even though he gave us a heads up that they were short that night, I don't think we would have even noticed. I really loved the 'mist over kanto' cocktail - made with mezcal and citrus - it's so pretty and tasty without being too smoky or too sweet - perfectly balanced. The 3 of us split 2 sushi rolls and each had an entree. The sushi was so good and fresh - I highly recommend both rolls - the Tigerlily and the Kani roll. The Tigerlily is made with beautiful salmon and the Kani with the most delicious fresh snow crab - I want to go back just for that one. It's so sweet and delicious. My 2 friends went with the waiter's suggestion of the Katsucurry - it looked and smelled divine. I definitely want to try that one next time. I ordered the Suzuki, which is Japanese sea bass in a miso buerre blanc - it was surprisingly sweet, but tasted really good with the fish, which was cooked perfectly with crispy skin. Tender, moist and flavorful. It is served with a pretty salad, but that part needed seasoning - I added soy sauce, and it was pretty good. I didn't love the amount of strong onions on it though - I'd suggest that they soak those first - they were fairly overpowering, and I just pushed them to the side. Still a good dish.
I am already looking forward to returning.
Returned November 2024 to great vibes, cocktails, apps & 'serts. The entrees were a bit hit or miss this time, unfortunately, but we'd all still definitely return. The lettuce wraps and tempura shrimp started our meal quite deliciously, and the lychee martinis were so tasty and not too sweet. Perfectly balanced. Service was also excellent on a packed Saturday night. As for the entrees, mine was great - chicken katsu curry. Very flavorful, crispy chicken, delectable sauce and little perfectly cooked vegetables. On point. My friend reported that the pepper steak was a little bland, and the octopus, while cooked perfectly, had quite an odd flavor - I'm not sure what it was, but it almost had a chemical like taste. Maybe too much kefir lime or something...not sure. They were very gracious about it though, and took it off the bill, and my friend enjoyed the sushi roll she ordered instead. The chocolate citrus cake we had for dessert was so perfect, so we ended on a high note. Creamy, chocolat-ey goodness with kumquats and little citrus fruit segments. Pretty and delicious. Overall, a very nice meal with friends in a fun atmosphere.

Would love to give this place a higher rating. Great drinks, some really good items. I had the special - panko breaded oysters. Fantastic. Some of the apps were amazing (lettuce wraps and street corn!). However, my wife is gluten free and they could not accommodate very well. We were told she could only have steak. Hard to understand with such a diverse menu.

Food is good. I think very highly of the sushi and menu selection. But I have been there twice and the kitchen is consistently backed up. Making you wait past your reservation time to be seated when there are open tables. We ordered seven different items and not one of them came out within 5 minutes of each other. Servers looked under staffed too

This place was horrible! I was so excited to go to this restaurant but we waited for our food for an hour, it was 2 of us at the table and after waiting , someone came in 30 or more minutes after us and ordered the same thing as us got served first. They said “your food came out not even 30 seconds after theirs” that’s not the point, the point is it took 32 minutes to take our order, an hour for the food to come out and it was dang near time for them to close (food came out at 9:50, they close at 10:00 and we got there at 8 pm) They only covered a portion of the bill; the steak was cold, had no flavor and was dry and the salmon was charred and not edible. The waitress Bridget L was rude and told my sister, “we covered your bill for the salmon, you might as well eat it”, I will not be returning to the establishment ever again. And on top of ALL OF THAT, being the only black people (or anybody of color in the restaurant) that was not a good look for them. If you just want a pretty place to look at while you eat mediocre food, this is your spot.

We got done shopping early, and they changed our reservation to earlier with no issues. We went on a Sunday when it wasn't busy, so if waiting is an issue I suggest you go during a quieter time. I went with my ADHD 9 year old, so we know better than to go at busy times. We had zero issues, and were sat right away. They have a lot of unique options, but the bone marrow sushi was the best in my opinion. The ambience is lovely, and I even got a piece of cake with a sparkler on it for my birthday.

Regardless of reservation you’ll be waiting for at least 15 minutes to be seated, and then when you finally are seated they might have over-booked and stick you at the bar. Need to acknowledge their popularity better and be more prepared to handle the higher volume of guests. Female hostess also rude and standoffish. Not great qualities in the person you first walk in to see.

Upon entering we were super excited to visit! We are from Atlanta so we were ready to have a great experience. This did not happen. Our server barely greeted us and when she did she only asked one of us what we wanted to drink and assumed the other two wanted that as well. Very rude. We felt like we were being an inconvenience to her. Nevertheless we ordered Sake and some apps which the apps of two bowls of soup and a boa bun never came. We felt dismissed and very out of place which should NEVER be a feeling of paying customers . We payed for our drinks that we didn’t even want to stay and finish and left! Apps never came! WHEN BACK IN MICHIGAN I WILL NEVER BE BACK!

The food was phenomenal, as a chef I can tell when someone pours love into what they do. The chef of this resturant does an amazing job of presenting that in her dishes. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, perfect experience.
Chef used locally sourced foods to make the experience all the better. She is an artist, really.

Tea - $8 and room temperature: Crab Ragoon - $15 - small portion, poorly balanced: Dumplings - $15 small portion and extremely under seasoned, Ramen $20 - small portion, poorly balanced and the worst quality to cost ratio I’ve had with Ramen. In summary, extremely overpriced and very poor quality food.

Sushi and service are still fantastic but miss these items as they made this restaurant stand out. There will be a hole in our hearts until these items are added back to the menu.

I had a very unfortunate experience with Tiger lilly and enjoyed coming here until they charged my card the wrong amount. Didn’t think about getting a receipt because it was on the machine. Went back and forth with the general manager for two weeks and he promised to take it off and refunded me a different lower amount. I had to look at other reviews to make sure I wasn’t the only one and found someone else with the same exact issue. Didn’t want to write a review but it’s been two months now and my credit card company won’t refund me the money. Really unfortunate, won’t be returning back. Please make sure you get a receipt so this won’t happen to you. You lost a loyal customer. Completely disappointed.

All four stars belong to the kitchen: the food was the only redeeming part of our night at TigerLily. While a touch overpriced, the quality and presentation of the plates are deserving of the cost (but barely). The TigerLily roll was tasty but unremarkable; chicken katsu curry was flavorful; appetizers were a good start to the night. Taking a star off for poor, unenthusiastic service. Our hostess showed zero urgency despite having a reservation, and our server wasn’t helpful when we asked about some of the menu items. The bathrooms were crazy wet and messy. We’d probably return once in a blue moon, but if we’re craving sushi we’ll likely opt for Noble Fish instead.

Tigerlily is a vibe , the ambience is beautiful but as we didn’t had the reservation as we randomly stumbled on this place , we opted for patio instead of bar area . Ordered a cocktail - mist over Kanto which was great . Then we had Edmame , pork dumplings (delicious) , chicken tskune & tempura bao - the bao were just perfect , tigerlily sushi . Later we again ordered the chicken tskune bao cos they were so good 🤤. Finally the matcha tiramisu , not a matcha fan but this dessert had the perfect amount of matcha which means it was barely there 😝
Overall an amazing food served at this place ❤️

Made a reservation, which I would recommend even for a party of two. We were able to bring drinks over from the tiki bar, although they also have a full bar within the restaurant. Our server was friendly and since it was our first visit, he gave us a quick rundown about Tigerlily’s supply delivery process, which includes fast shipments of high quality proteins. After a scan of the menu, we decided on a few different items including bao buns, nigiri, makimono rolls, and classic rolls. The staff is also very accommodating for food allergies too, so make sure to tell them up front if that’s the case. Everything tasted fresh and came out in a timely manner. We had ample time to chat and eat at our leisure and did not go thirsty. Their menu is fairly extensive and has a nice variety of dishes, with rolls, noodles, tacos, wings, and soup, but also chicken and steak for picky eaters or diners who are not into seafood. This restaurant is modern and clean and perfect for date night or small groups.

The salmon sashimi tasted like smoked salmon. It was definitely not sashimi.
The wagyu/bone marrow roll was mostly rice, and the 2 key ingredients were completely lost in the taste of the over abundant rice.
In fact, all the rolls we ordered had an over-abundance of rice. Completely unnecessary for such a great menu.
The server tried to push a $9 upselln on freshly grated Wasabi and seemed disappointed when we didn't go for it.
As well, the wait to get our sushi after our hot meal was unacceptable. She did comp us with some sashimi tacos but one of those orders was made with that smoked salmon not sashimi
Overall for the price paid and for what we got, I would not go back here

We’ve been here at least 6 times and last night was a huge disappointment.
A few positives: drinks were good, patio was nice and clean, sushi rolls had plenty of flavor
The cons: The pork belly bao appetizer was extremely dry, chewy, and tough. The fried rice was like a soggy soup overdressed with soy sauce. The timing of the food was all over the place- we received our 4 sushi rolls within minutes of each other and it took another 30 minutes to bring out the 2 pieces of nigiri. We thought they forgot about the nigiri and mentioned to the food runner that this came out so late we thought they forgot about it and the food runner just ignored the comment and walked away. We should have been more direct and said we did not want it anymore. The service was AWFUL. Our water was empty after the appetizers and our server stopped at our table one time after the appetizers and before the food came out. We told the hosts about how awful the service was and they said sorry about that. We were shocked a manager didn’t come out to apologize or even ask what happened- zero damage control was done.
Overall, the timing of this new chef and menu seems odd with the major downhill in quality of food and service.

Tiger Lily Roll was amazing

**Atmosphere**: The atmosphere is amazing and well thought out, perfectly capturing an urban and Japanese feel. The space has many dimensions and layers that add to its charm.
**Service**: Georgia was an absolute sweetheart. However, another waiter caught us off guard by informing us that we couldn't keep the soy sauce due to health code restrictions. It was a minor inconvenience, especially since we were in a hurry and needed it to enjoy our sushi.
**Food**: As a lover of culinary art, I appreciate creative takes on classic dishes. However, this can sometimes be hit or miss. For instance, the use of rice paper (or something similar) on the pork wontons didn't appeal to us. On the other hand, the sushi rolls were solid. The fish ramen had a great broth and excellent fish, but while the poached egg was perfectly cooked, I would have preferred a marinated version. Again, this is just my personal take on a classic dish.
Overall, considering the price, I don't plan to return. It's a cool place for a first date, especially with someone who isn't as critical of food as I am.

Everything we have tried from TigerLily has been fantastic. Their Wagyu rolls are a really fun experience, they melt the bone marrow onto the rolls table side. The Robata skewers are fantastic, I've had almost every one and I'll be having them again.
The seating in and outdoors is great, my only complaint is that sometimes it can be too loud to carry a conversation. Which is fine, because I'm probably stuffing my face with sushi anyway.

Our evening at Tigerlily's bar started off a bit rocky with slow service, but Ashley quickly stepped in to save the day. Her prompt and attentive assistance turned our experience around completely. We began with some delightful cocktails that were expertly crafted, setting the stage for an enjoyable dining experience. As we delved into the menu, the food proved to be the highlight of the evening, exceeding our expectations with its bold flavors and impeccable presentation. Despite the initial hiccup, our overall impression of Tigerlily was overwhelmingly positive, and we're already looking forward to returning for another memorable meal.

We sat at the bar for dinner and had a great experience. Both bartenders were attentive and kind. They made excellent drink and food recommendations too!
I had the Japanese Mockjito and my husband had the house-made hard seltzers. The yuzu lemon flavor was the best. We also tried the toki water which was unique, extra carbonated water.
We started with the Motoyaki Casino which was wonderful, baked bay scallops served in a shell with an amazing cream sauce. I had the ginger carrot salad, it was fine nothing extraordinary. We also shared the crab rangoon which had a great crab to cheese ratio.
My husband had the Aburi Toro roll, sake nigiri and foie gras sashimi. He said the foie gras was not the best but still very good, the other items he absolutely loved. I had the unagi delight roll and it was really tasty.
We dined in on the day their new menu rolled out so they did not have their liquid nitrogen ice cream available, which was a major bummer! But, we look forward to trying it next time.

This is one of the WORST dining experiences you will ever have.
1. The food came out slow. ONE plate at a time. It took 90 mins to have a simple dinner for 2 people on a Tuesday night.
2. When asked why our main courses were delivered separately with a long wait in between them, we were told that service was done as dishes were completed.
3. Food portions are small and WAY overpriced. For example, the rice was stale for the Yuzu chili chicken and the chicken itself was not tender. Sashimi platter for $80 was pathetically small inconsistent cuts of VERY cheap fish. Pork Belly Bao had very tough meat and consisted of 2 cubes of protein that did not fit properly in the length of the bun. In other words, you had bites of bread that had no filling.
What an awkward, unsatisfying and horrible way to have dinner, as well as a complete disservice to the appropriation of Asian culture.
I urge this restaurant group to rethink the management of this particular venue.

Food was delicious, but the service was horrendous. Made a 515pm reservation on Saturday my son’s 26th bday thinking we would miss the rush.
We were seated immediately but the waitress did not greet us for at least 15 mins, no water at the table, nothing. She finally took our order and it took at least another 15 to get our drinks. In addition, I received my entree 10 mins before the rest of the party and then to top it off, realized after leaving she charged me for an extra $15 cocktail. 😣
Overal, NOT a great experience for spending $200 for 3 people.

Service was slow in a nearly dead restaurant. Expected a bit more for what we paid. The 4-6 menu was misleading, only a couple of the many things listed are actually cheaper during that time. Not really a happy hour if you ask me. Rolls were good, but not worth the price at all. Way too much vinegar used on the nigiri. The area next to the bar is pretty crammed, couldn’t imagine what it’s like when they’re busy. Would not recommend or return.

Took wife for a late Birthday celebration. Front of house host were "meh". Not very welcoming to us or others that I observed as well. Our server was decent. Other servers were vibrant and engaged with their tables. Being that my wife handed her a printout for her birthday, she didn't receive it nor anything else that may have pertained to the simple fact that this dinner was her celebration.
Will we return? Possibly. If so, no time too soon.

I got the fried chicken wings and they were SO good and beautifully prepared. The tigerlilly roll was good but could’ve been better for the price. This was my second time here and I would definitely go back, make sure to check out the tiki bar inside.

Bartenders were friendly and super nice to us. Food and drinks were amazing. Only thing the bar was a little too cramped but next time we’ll just get a table ahead of time. Definitely will be back!

Great food, staff and especially the ambiance!! Not inexpensive so it’s a treat for us, but worth it a couple times per year!

Always wonderful! One of the best sushi places around, we bring friends here all the time. Waiter was friendly and personable. Food outstanding.

Busy Friday night. Made reservations. We were sat right away.
Server was informative, friendly and attentive. Christen I think her name was.
Food was incredible! Can’t pick anything you won’t like! The whole menu is amazing . Pricey but worth it. Plus you can just enjoy a couple apps and still get an amazing affordable experience. Tuna tartare was incredible.
Don’t forget to checkout the Tiki Speakeasy inside the restaurant!

Been here multiple times and always had a great experience. Love the Tiki Bar too!

Made a reservation for a birthday, as soon as we are seated the hostess said “oh by the way there’s an hour and a half limit of time allotted for your dinner”. Right off the bat we felt rushed and anxious from that. There was no notification of a time limit when the reservation was made, so that’s disappointing. Our waitress was nice but being told we can’t just sit, drink, and enjoy our birthday dinner was off putting.
The sushi was very fresh but expensive (avg $20 a roll). We ordered 6 rolls; they had interesting ingredients but overall bland flavor. Green onions aren’t listed on the menu but garnish most of the rolls so if there’s an allergy be sure to let them know. Brussel sprouts were delicious and tempura shrimp appetizer was yummy but heavy on the breading.
Rolls we ordered:
Tanjiro: heavy handed on the microgreens which was overpowering. Bland. Unfortunately couldn’t taste the jalapeño-honey vinaigrette at all.
Gojo: fresh, lemony flavor with a hint of sweetness. Different flavor but overall pleasant
Kurama: spicy salmon was delicious, the hint of sweet from the tomago was a nice addition. This was one of our favorites of the ones we ordered.
Karai tuna: enjoyable spice level, smaller roll, not much flavor added from the sweet potato
Tigerlily: pleasant smoky salmon flavor, good crunch from the shrimp tempura. This was our favorite of the 6
Kani: upgraded California roll with a slight tang of lemon aioli. Ok but nothing to write home about.
So after the time limit, high prices ($110 a person after tip), and bland sushi, we probably won’t be back which is unfortunate because we love to frequent sushi restaurants. Also, nothing done for a birthday, no dessert or anything to make someone choose to celebrate their special day here.

This place is amazing! Definitely lived up to the hype .
Service was amazing we got seated quickly and were greeted with smiles .
The staff was super knowledgeable about the food menu and genuinely cared about what they serve and described every dish in amazing detail.
The decor and atmosphere of this place is super dope .
Lots of cool art and decorations.
Chef Ivan went out if his way to provide is with recommendations and some chef specials after finding out it was out first time there and really made us feel special and taken care of even though he looked extremely busy.
The menu had lots of great options .
If you're into sushi this place is the best and has lots of great and different rolls not your typical boring 12 rolls like most places and they also have a lot of good warm Japanese dishes that's aren't widely available elsewhere.
Definitely put this place in your togo list .

Another great meal at Tigerlily. Hosted multiple people for a business dinner, ordered appetizers, the Japanese skewers were all excellent and fresh (wagyu especially) and the rolls fantastic. Drinks were inventive and strong!
Highly recommend!

I went here with the business fam! It was my first time, but the people that I went with had been a few times. I don't really eat sushi myself, so it doesn't make a ton of sense for me to go there, but I did end up eating their street corn and Brussel sprouts, and both were amazing! Everyone else got sushi and a few other things and no one had complaints. The atmosphere was great and the service was as well.

Our server Chrissy helped us understand the menu and she was excellent. Orzo soup was awesome. The tuna avo roll was spectacular. And I got the fried rice w egg on top and it was delicious. Passion fruit dessert also phenomenal. I don’t recall my drink, but it had candied ginger on top. A lot of leftovers to take home. We will be back!

I would have given this place been 5 stars if the hostess didn’t tell us we had a time limit when we sat us down, it just started our whole experience on the wrong foot. We notice she didn’t tell anyone else that, which made us more upset.
The food was amazing and our waiter (Maxwell) was amazing. We loved all his recommendations, we will definitely try this place again.

This is the second time we've been and the second time we've been blown away. Both servers were phenomenal. I ran restaurants many years ago, and I would have paid dearly for servers like these. The food is great (get the chicken bao), and I was pleasantly surprised when the bill came.

Came here on a whim for a small celebration with my girlfriend and had a wonderful experience. The interior looks awesome and really elevates the experience with the food.
We ended up getting a range of things to share and really enjoyed them all. There were a few options on the menu we stayed away from because of the price but of the things we got, the portion portion sizes were generous and the flavors amazing.
We got the fatty pork belly skewer, the spicy fried shrimp, and the gojo roll to split and then each ordered an entree, katsu for me and Yaki Udon with tofu for her.
The skewer was super moist and flavorful, especially with the aoli. The shrimp was a little spicy for my partner but even so neither of us could stop eating it. The roll helped cut the richness of both and was ultra refreshing. I would highly recommend either entree too.
In the end we spent 120$ for the meal for two but there was so much food that we both had leftovers for lunch the next day.
Only disappointment was the food we didn't order because of the cost. The hand torched fatty tuna sounded amazing but was 12$ for a single piece of sushi. I can understand the price because of the difficulty in getting high quality ingredients but was still sticker shocked. Next time with a bit more.planning and realistic expectations we might spring for it, but for an off the cuff visit it was a bit too expensive for our taste.

Beware because I gave my credit card and then signed for my final bill total on an electronic tablet the waitress provided. No paper was involved. I Remembered the exact final total but then went home and logged into my credit card account and found out that the restaurant increased the final total by over $45.00. Called management and they acknowledged the change and credited the difference back to my account. Never explained how such a thing could of happened so BEWARE.

Went here with my partner for our New Year's Eve/anniversary date night and it was an amazing experience. The interior is gorgeous, menu is comprehensive without being overwhelming, and our server was extremely helpful, informative and professional! We got a mix of familiar and different things to try and were both satisfied. Very high quality fish, and my partner loved the wagyu steak skewer while I loved the shiitake skewer. Fun mocktails as well! For us, this was a splurge for a special occasion, and definitely somewhere we'll keep in mind for our next one!

I visited this place with my husband to celebrate our anniversary and we loved the restaurant. This place has it all - great food, friendly staff and beautiful decor.
Food: We tried miso soup, pork belly bao, buta bara(pork belly skewer), chefs special aburi toro, tiger lily sushi rolls. Food was amazing and the presentation was on point. We highly recommend ordering pork belly bao(It’s not on the menu, you need to request the staff) and pork belly skewer.
Drinks: We highly recommend mist over Kanto.
This place is perfect for a date night. The atmosphere is lively and staff is friendly ensuring a welcoming experience!!

This place has it all. Let’s start with the food: I have been here three times I have never been disappointed at all. It is simply Excellent sushi! They have Innovative dishes and are absolutely tasty! But fair warning if it says spicy, it’s spicy!!! Next are the people: the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and truly provide a welcoming vibe. Great staff is hard to find these days, and I have to say that from the bartenders to the servers to the hostess, all down to earth and do a great job! Last but not least, the decor: it is modern and fun and the lighting gives a great atmosphere with the right background music and the girls bathroom walls have very cool murals as well. Perfect place for a date, girls night out or work event!

the food here is great and inventive. We ordered several appetizers, salads and 4 sushi rolls for our party of 4. ALL of the food came withing minutes off each other so we asked the deliverer to please ask them to slow down. The manager, Dominique, rather than apologizing for rushing our meal came to our table and scolded us for "yelling" at her waitstaff. Literally no one yelled. We asked nicely once for them to slow down and seconds later more food was dumped on our table. Dominique didn't even bother to listen to our concern...she just kept saying that the food comes from different parts of the restaurant (which we knew) . Bottom line we felt rushed and then reprimanded for asking not to be rushed🤷🏻♀️

My wife and I have visited Tiger Lily three times in the past three months. Tiger Lily consistently delivers great service, amazing food, and a cleanly, modern atmosphere. We always get the street corn as an app, and recently tried some new additions to their menu. The brussels sprouts with gochujang sauce were amazing and their miso cod was melt in your mouth with a perfect sauce. I can not recommend Tiger Lily enough, and we will be back in next month!!

Came here for the first time after my wedding, and this place is really outstanding. A rare experience in which the food, atmosphere, and staff are exceptional. The chef, Chris, is brilliant and kind person, he and the staff really made us feel special. The second visit was every bit as good as the first. This will be a regular visit for my spouse and I.

I walked in early on a Friday evening. The restaurant was practically empty, but since I didn't have a reservation I was told that I could sit at the bar. Before sitting at the bar, they took my cell phone number and told me they would text and "see if they could fit me in" even though the restaurant remained under 50% capacity the entire time I was there. After being at the bar for an hour, they finally "found" a table for us. Our server (older Caucasian lady w/ dark hair) was absolutely horrendous. I won't go into the details, but I requested to speak to the manager. He was very apologetic. We had the chicken bao buns and Japanese street corn. Both were good but overpriced. The dumplings were disappointing. Overall, the experience definitely didn't live up to the hype. I won't return.

This place has been on my radar for quite sometime and finally made a trip for dinner with a friend this past weekend. As a Sushi lover i must say Tigerlily hasn’t lived up to the Hype. This place recommends getting a reservation ahead. Their dining area and Sushi bar is quite nice. We made a reservation in the dining area. Our waiter seated us at the table and we asked for a booth instead. His reply was they are already reserved while they seemed empty and the reservation doesn’t specify Table or a booth. That was our first bummer for the night. We were seated and our waitress was quite nice to walk us through the menu and repeatedly checked on us. We ordered a Goku Gimlet and The Death Note for drinks and they tasted pretty decent. Coming to the food, we ordered Chicken Tsukune Bao, Green Beans for appetizers. Bao buns were okay and Green beans were a hit. Then we got some sushi rolls, Go Jo and Tigerlily. Go Jo had Scallops in it but hardly felt it in the bite, Lemon was overpowering and did not compliment the taste. I would never eat this roll again. Tigerlily roll was better than Go Jo but majorly lacked flavor. All in all was utterly disappointed by the food. To end the night we got a Matcha Tiramisu. Taste pretty good, right balance of matcha and the bitterness. Prefect blend of mousse and Croquant topped with Candied Pistachios for the nuttiness.
Other than Green Beans, Match Tiramisu and Our waitress EVERYTHING else was a let down !

Tigerlily was amazing. The atmosphere is great and all the workers are very nice. The apps were for sure the best part of dinner especially the bao buns and street corn. We also had the udon which was incredible. I had the tigerlily roll and it can definitely be improved on. 3 rolls that I had didnt even have fish inside and for $20 I think it should be completely full. Definitely will be back to try all the other app options and maybe give the sushi another try.

Not a fan of the decor, feels like ikea. The rolls sounded interesting but didn’t taste that interesting. The a5 wagyu roll had the thinnest slice of raw (?) wagyu on top, the bone marrow butter was good but just overall the roll kind of felt lacking especially for the price. The a5 wagyu on it felt unnecessary. The Gojo roll had scallop in it but it was impossible to tell, the lemon was too overpowering.

Finally got a chance to make to tiger lily. I'm a vegetarian, but my gramdma want sushi for her birthday and decide to try a more upscale place. We had a fantastic time and love the food and cocktails (and I am a drink snob). The veg options we limited but fantastic. I wish they would have a few more options. I would mostly return more often.

We LOVE Tigerlily . We are a family of FOODIES and it’s the restaurant we ALL agree on. We’ve tried about 95% of the menu and everything has been delicious. The street corn and the Tigerlily roll is a must have.
Caitlin is our favorite waitress, we usually bring the kids and no matter how busy it is she is charismatic, caring, and attentive in every way.
During our last visit, Dominique, the manager made our 3 year old feel so special. This meant a lot to us because he has food allergies and usually doesn’t experience dining out to the extent that everyone else in the family does.
Dominique & Caitlin, thank you for going above and beyond, we appreciate you and will be back soon.
