Szechuan House

Recently a friend invited me to check out this restaurant. If you enjoy authentic Chinese food, this is not the place for you. The service here is amazing and the portion sizes are pretty large. We tried a variety of different items. The only one I would recommend is the snow pea leaf and garlic. Although the restaurant and staff are amazing, I did not enjoy the food. This seems to be a place to go if you want a quick and cheap meal.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner last week. We’ve been meaning to go since it opened, but we wanted to wait until they were up and running smoothly. The moment we walked in we were greeted with friendly smiles and were seated immediately. Before we could even get our coats off, they were giving us water, hot tea, wontons, ect.

The service was AMAZING, and the food was great. There are definitely a lot of Americanized dishes, but they also have a “country side” menu with more authentic offerings. We weren’t super hungry, so we ordered the walnut shrimp, and a Thai curry fried rice.

Definitely looking forward to trying out more of the menu on the next visit.

1st time since opening in the new spot. Not bad. I think almost all the negative reviews are from early on. Maybe, there is a way they can be removed since over the last 6 months this place is probably averaging 4-4.5 stars much higher than when they first opened. Food was ok. I can't say great, but overall decent. I will say the house-made chips are so good! I will try again for dinner and see if any better.

It’s been awhile since my family have ate at Szechuan House. I don’t know why we waited so long to eat here again. The sweet and sour shrimp is amazing! My daughter just got the dumplings and she loved them. The service was great and everyone was nice. We will be back soon for sure. So much better than other Chinese restaurants that we go too. My father-in-law is critical about food. He enjoyed it too.

Had to finally try the place that used to be housed where Kung Fu Szechuan 12 now exists. This location is down the road in a fancy shopping center.

The TV's all had aquarium videos running and the background music sounded like one would be at an aquarium, lol.

The service here is really good, but I've had a lot of traditionally-prepared Szechuan food across the US east coast and this sadly is nothing close to traditional.

It all definitely falls under ACF (American Chinese Food). I actually thought their rendition of Chongqing Chicken (Crispy Szechuan Chicken) was good. It runs a lot sweeter than anywhere else I've been. Otherwise, everything else was disappointingly bland and not mala.

They do provide free fried wonton's. That was a nice touch I hadn't seen done in a long time, but that's an ACF thing.

I tried to the following, some there, and some togo. I can only recommend the crispy szechuan chicken. Please note that the Szechuan Aromatic Chicken, which I got to go, was identical. Separate line items on the menu, but the same and made no sense to me.

-Cold Noodles Sesame Sauce
-Crispy Szechuan Chicken
-Double Cooked Pork
-Mo Po Tofu w Pork
-Szechuan Aromatic Chicken (was identical to the crispy szechuan chicken)

Sadly, I'd say just stick with KF12 if you're looking for authentic Szechuan. This place seems to do ACF really well if that's what you're looking for.

As you can see, however, you have more than just my negative review these last few months. Furthermore, we didn’t realize how poorly the food tasted until we arrived home. Was I supposed to then drive the 40 or so minutes back to return the food after having already gone back before leaving because my sushi order was incorrect? How many order corrections should I incur? Your admittance that carry out orders are not the same as dining in is very telling. I guess I shouldn’t have expected quality food despite the almost $50 price of the duck and side of rice alone? I am not sure how “peak” it was because there weren’t many patrons in the restaurant when I went. If others had a better experience, that is great! What we had was awful and not money well spent. There is better food elsewhere, including the restaurant that is apparently in your old location.

This was my first visit. I happened to be in the area, so I ordered online for us to enjoy the food at home. I was looking forward to the meal. I was told the food was great. It was not!

Whole Peking Duck: Plentiful, but incredibly dry and flavorless.

Shrimp and Scallop in Garlic Sauce (one of my fave Chinese entrees): Not fresh, tasted reheated. Gritty scallops and tough shrimp. Broccoli tasted weird. Entire dish pretty much inedible.

Sushi rolls: Just ok. One roll had to be returned because the shrimp was conveniently omitted.

The ladies at the front were polite, but since much of my large order was ultimately tossed—no need to return. Money wasted for sure.

Fast service and great restaurant atmosphere. Recommended for groups and families in the Timonium area. Conveniently located across from the Maryland fairgrounds.

I think overall the food could have been a little better. For example some of our dishes were cold.

I have eaten at this restaurant, (former location), since 2000. It was absolutely my favorite Asian Chinese restaurant because of the wide array of authentic Chinese cuisine and its dedicated staff, who always worked above, and beyond. When they closed, and not due to their fault, (leasing), I was absolutely devastated because of the years of eating here at least once/twice a month. I’m so happy they found a new location and the food is just as excellent. I recommend this treasure of a restaurant to everyone…you won’t be disappointed!!! Congratulations my friends.

I tried this establishment twice trying to be open minded. Both times the customer service, temperature of the food and the quality of my entree was subpar. For ex: Their version of fried rice is recooked white rice with soy sauce added to it. There were no vegetables, no eggs and really no flavor at all. I didn't even eat half of it. Another thing I didn't like was the disingenuous manner of the servers. They ask how is everything going with my dining experience but dont wait for an answer. They just walk off! When a server walks away before one can explain what's happening it seems like you really don't care about what's being said and you can't address the issue either. It leaves a very poor impression. There's plenty other asian restaurants around. I don't have to spend my money here.

Put in a delivery order at 3:30pm for 5:00 delivery; my whole family has the flu or else I would pick it up. After 4 hours it was still not ready. I called to check the status twice and was hung up on both times after being told it wasn’t ready and to try again later. Horrible service.

We always enjoy going to this place. Mr. Robert and His Family know how to treat you when you go there. The food and workers are very nice. We always ask for Ann for our waitress when we go there. She is so nice, pleasant, and always know how we want our food fixed. We recommend this place, if you are looking for good Chinese food.... 😋

I have been vomiting and sick to my stomach since last night after having dinner. I ordered pick up and it was good going down, but then several hours later I have gotten very sick. I don’t know if they use MSG or Somebody didn’t wash their hands. This is a warning to not eat here. I will not be eating here again.

Food was sub-par. Started with fried wontons that had been sitting out in the common area uncovered. Dumplings were super gummy and the veggie egg rolls were only filled with cabbage. Taste of food was basic, atmosphere could use an upgrade. Service was attentive. Also this is a BOYB restaurant.

The staff here disrespects older people!! My mother and I came in. We were served bad shrimp and broccoli that we were sure was leftovers taken from other customers' plates. It is very strange that part of the dish was warm, but other parts were cold. I really do think they disrespected us so much to serve us leftovers from other peoples' food! I can't even begin to tell you how nasty and unsanitary this is! This is why I think this happened, my mother has a medical condition where she can't completely feed herself. Because she dropped some of the wonton appetizers on the floor, I believe the staff here was so offended by that, that they served us dirty food from other people's plates. I will never return here. The staff so obviously disrespects older people!!!

Very friendly staff and restaurant seems well managed. Floor was extremely sticky.

Ordered takeout - the sesame chicken was soggy and flavorless and the side of brown rice (which came with lunch box) was over salted for my taste. There were 2 sad pieces of broccoli drowning in the flavorless sauce. There was no explanation that it came with salty brown rice and it might have been better with fried rice, like most take out places serve in their lunch specials.

The shrimp shumai was the worst I have ever had, to be honest. The shumai were also way too soggy/overcooked and the filling was overwhelmingly onion for for some reason. Would not recommend.

I threw everything away - I understand things not being to a person's taste but this food was way too soggy and just tasted bad.

This was pickup order that I drove exactly .6 miles down York Rd to my office. I had to wait for my order, as it was not ready when I arrived and it was exactly a 5 minute drive with my food.

First time at new location .....
Well known for their old location in Lutherville this is a tried and true Chinese emporium with a delightful, varied menu including some non-traditional American offerings. Everything was served quickly and politely. I am a shrimp toast snob and I can recommend this shrimp toast. Not the best I have ever had but well worth the experience.
Our only snafu was one in our party ordered Scallop and Shrimp in Garlic Sauce and it came without the scallop. We did not send it back as we had plenty to eat mixed with enjoyable conversation.
The value is excellent - prices, even in this inflated economy were extremely fair. We would return.

We have eaten here several times. Service is always great! Robert, the owner, is very nice. The steamed dumplings are a favorite appetizer as they are huge and made fresh daily. All the dishes we have ordered come as large portions and we can easily make 2 meals out of them. The important thing to note is that some of the food is Americanized, but the cooks come from old world and can prepare authentic old world food if you request it! So just ask!

I went here on a whim one day to take me and my 12 month old out of the summer heat. The staff were super personable, attentive and kind. I bought 4 rolls of sushi and an appetizer and it was only $24. Super fresh and yummy. Will definitely be returning!

I used to love this place before they moved. It pains me not to give them five stars but they really need to work to get back to the same quality of food that they used to have and their service is still lacking.
Update. I've been there a few times recently and noticed a much better food quality and the service is very good now. I've raised my score up to a five-star that they deserve and have earned.

A group of us always get together every Wednesday for dinner. We did not like our experience several weeks ago. The waitress was terrible. We ordered egg rolls and we didn't get the correct amount and had to ask for them. My food came out cold and they acted like it was my fault. The big issue was that they gave us each a bill and when a friend was paying for his and his wife's the waitress very rudely asked him where was the.tip on the second bill. We had to explain to her that he added the tip for both bills and put.it on one receipt. We always.feel rushed when we eat there, we will never go back there again

This place is excellent! Ample menu, even including sushi options. But I went there for Chinese food and left pleasantly surprised. A must stop for me going forward.
The ambiance is inviting, big ample place to est in. Many servers and other staff with friendly professional and quick service.
Plates and flavors were fantastic. Great portions, almost family style plates for dinner, and it seems that for lunch are personal servings.
Easy plaza parking and good location as well.

It's always a pleasure dining here. It's a pretty large restaurant with take-out if wanted and it's pretty clean. The staff are very polite, and the food is served pretty fast. The menu has a vast variety of choices. I usually do lunch here because of the lunch specials $8.95-$12.95 a lot to choose from. (not like the little take-out joints). Never had I eaten anything I didn't like (and I'm picky)

We tried Szechuan House for the first time recently and were blown away by how good everything was! It's definitely our new favorite Chinese food restaurant in the area. We loved the crispy chicken and chicken fried noodles, and the orange yuba was an awesome vegetarian option (love their orange sauce!). We loved it so much that we were considering ordering again the very next day but had to stop and engage a little self-control 😆 many thanks to the chef and we highly recommend you check them out!

This was our second time eating here. The first time we enjoyed it. This time however was not a good experience for us. We ordered “happy family” off the chefs suggestions menu. When my husband started eating it, we noticed there was pork in it. We as a family do not eat pork and this was not listed in the description for the happy family item. We brought it to attention of the manager. They scraped the bits of pork off my husband’s plate and gave us free egg rolls. They took the plate at the end to show to the chef. Nothing was done in my opinion to really resolve the issue. I told them if this were a food allergy it would be a serious issue for them especially since it was not listed under the menu item. Please be careful when ordering from here especially if you have any allergies or food restrictions.

Showed up at 9:58. Robert treated me like family and cooked the best fried shrimp rice I have ever had. This food is phenomenal, and traditional. The service is by far the best I have experience in the greater timinium area. I cannot say enough good things about the food, the service, the warm atmosphere, or experience. We love frequenting this restaurant. The dinner entrees are very tasty and portions are sizeable. The wait staff is incredibly friendly, but very understaffed. Never have to wait long for food once ordered, but usually have to track down someone to bring menus, flat ware, and check. The water, tea, and fried dough appetizers that everyone gets when they sit down come out almost instantly as well. The menu appetizers are not generally the best thing on the menu, but the entrees are tasty and top notch. We make Szechuan House a common family outing. Don't forget it's BYOB in case you want to take advantage.

i occasionally stop by for quick lunch takeout and it’s always great! sha cha beef, beef with garlic sauce, and spicy beef noodle soup are my favorites, prices on most items are affordable for the portions. staff are friendly and always accommodating. the restaurant atmosphere and decor is lovely to see too!

Horrible food, horrible service, and chaos! Don’t waste your money. It wasn’t even worth taking pics! I order orange chicken, g chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Broccoli was cold. 🤦🏽‍♀️ chicken wasn’t cooked all the way through. This must have been a bad night because I always see this place packed…first and last time going. My stomach hurts🤢 and they only had 1 high chair🫤

The set up was awkward. No designated hostess area when you walk in. Waited awhile to be acknowledged. But when acknowledged the staff was pleasant. The floor was wet underneath our table. I ordered the Shrimp in garlic sauce. That was the name, however in the description sweet and sour sauce was also stated which was confusing. It was definitely sweet and sour. It was the worst Asian food I've ever had. The free tea was a nice touch. Other than that, it's not worth returning to try anything else.

The atmosphere is bad but the food and service is poor, they got my order wrong and when I made them aware of it they told me that was what I ordered. Then I expressed to a second waitress that my order was in correct and they still charged me for the sushi that I didn’t order nor did I eat it. We went on the busiest day of the year, Christmas and the place ran like a fine oiled machine! I expected a long wait at every turn but we were seated within 5 minutes or arriving. The wait staff was really up for the crowd and as pressured as they must have been, it never showed. All were friendly and very efficient. The food was perfect! It will be a regular stop for me from now on!

Ordered general tso lunch special. It was not good, barely any flavor or sauce. Was also the lightest looking general tso chicken I’ve ever had. Rice was salty. Egg roll also not good - had a very crispy outer shell that was not like a normal egg roll shell. Very large pieces of cooked shrimp inside, which was overpowering.

Food was delicious! We got the roasted duck, and OMG I havent had that quality in a really long time. Our server was so patient and attentive. They were slammed but the food came out pretty quickly. We will for sure be back.

Went at 7 on a Wednesday night, it was almost empty. Servers were polite but slow and inattentive. The people at the table near us had to go find someone to take their order. It took forever to get the check.

Steamed dumplings were huge and tasty but a lot of dough. Ordered the happy family which indicated it came with a variety of seafood, beef, chicken and snow peas. Asked for no beef and no peas. Dish came out with both. The server insisted it wasn't beef it was pork, which wasn't listed at all! Sent it back. Instead of remaking, they picked out the beef/pork and peas!! Found several pieces still in the dish. Luckily I'm not allergic or avoid for religious reasons!!

The restaurant was bright and modern but the wall next to the table was unfinished, unpainted drywall that was very dirty and gross. Speaking of the table, each table has a different work of art painted on the top. Our art... a drowned woman floating in water with her hands tied by rope. Not very appetizing and could be upsetting to young kids or someone with a trauma history.

Had to finally try the place that used to be housed where Kung Fu Szechuan 12 now exists. This location is down the road in a fancy shopping center.

The TV's all had aquarium videos running and the background music sounded like one would be at an aquarium, lol.

The service here is really good, but I've had a lot of traditionally-prepared Szechuan food across the US east coast and this sadly is nothing close to traditional.

It all definitely falls under ACF (American Chinese Food). I actually thought their rendition of Chongqing Chicken (Crispy Szechuan Chicken) was good. It runs a lot sweeter than anywhere else I've been. Otherwise, everything else was disappointingly bland and not mala.

They do provide free fried wonton's. That was a nice touch I hadn't seen done in a long time, but that's an ACF thing.

I tried to the following, some there, and some togo. I can only recommend the crispy szechuan chicken. Please note that the Szechuan Aromatic Chicken, which I got to go, was identical. Separate line items on the menu, but the same and made no sense to me.

Sadly, I'd say just stick with KF12 if you're looking for authentic Szechuan. This place seems to do ACF really well if that's what you're looking for.

Fast service and great restaurant atmosphere. Recommended for groups and families in the Timonium area. Conveniently located across from the Maryland fairgrounds.

I think overall the food could have been a little better. For example some of our dishes were cold.

The food was good, above average for quality and value. The service was adequate and quick with delivery of food and beverage. The atmosphere was odd as there was unfinished drywall with food stains next to our booth. I was a restaurant owner and operator so I can forgive the decor especially in this Biden induced business environment where survival is the best you can hope for. The bathrooms are unforgivably filthy. If I go back I will walk in and look there first. If they are clean, I will stay but if they look like they did today, I will not return again.

Bad experience and mediocre food! I usually go to get authentic Chinese food at a couple of other restaurants because the food is always fixed fresh; serving size is plentiful, and the food is hot, tasty, and the customer service is awesome! But I decided to try this place, despite the poor reviews but I should have listened to my gut.

The food tasted horrible, and the customer service was even worse! Never again! This place can’t even fix fried rice correctly! A so-called “authentic “ Chinese restaurant that cannot even cook fried rice is like an Italian restaurant that serves spaghetti without pasta sauce. It just doesn’t happen. Well, it happened in this case because I was served fried rice with NO onions, NO carrots, NO peas and NO eggs! (See pic) …Just white rice, barely covered with soy sauce, that tasted like bland, uncooked grain rice! By the way, they messed up my order twice! And as expected, did not offer a refund for uneaten food, even though it was they who got the order wrong. They “corrected” it by giving me something called fried rice but certainly isn’t fried rice (maybe they’re cutting costs…idk?). But what I do know is they did not give me the correct order the first time. I ordered, carry out, Schezwan lamb and a side of fried rice instead of steamed rice. (When I got home, I had a large fried rice with lamb or beef in it (yet they charged me the full price for Lamb Schezwan, which is what I ordered). But when I called back (this is the third time by now), and tried to explain that I did not order a fried rice dish, I got push back. I ordered Schezwan lamb and a SIDE of fried rice. Instead of just saying I’m sorry this lady actually argued with me that that’s what I ordered. Really?!? So I insisted that I have my order made as ordered and I would bring back the fried rice. My son went to pick up my order and brought it back to me. Lo and behold, it was wrong again! This time I think they did this on purpose because and gave me Schezwan Lamb but friend rice with nothing in but a tiny bit of soy sauce (see pic). Lamb was horrible too! Perhaps they do this when they get mad with you for challenging them about what you ordered. Then “Marry” tried to tell me that’s how fried rice is cooked and that’s the one I ordered like I didn’t know what I ordered. I don’t like dealing with liars. I never ordered that and it doesn’t say it comes without those items on the menu so I think it’s a reasonable expectation to expect to get fried rice made as it usually is made.

I really can’t stand people like that. Perhaps they are cutting cost or something but I don’t like it because when I pay the full price for something I want that meal and not a substitute and I want the food that I asked for cooked correctly. Don’t get mad at me and then give me something I did not ask for for the second time because I complained.

Already the food tastes mediocre, but to argue with me about what I know I ordered and then don’t even offer to make it right is not a way to get a return customer or get customers who actually listen to reviews. No problem . I’ll take my business elsewhere, and I’ll tell my family and friends not to patronize you and to go Kung Fu 12, Asian Kebob, or China Moon if they actually want tasty, authentic Chinese food with better service. And if they want great Japanese food and excellent service, go to Sushi Ichiban in Towson! Some people appreciate that you chose to spend your hard-earned money in their restaurant, so an effort should be made to ensure the person’s order is right, and if not, efforts are made to get it right. If you can’t get it right, refund their money!

It wasn’t crowded on this Tuesday afternoon and service was prompt. I ate in and the Hunan chicken was excellent. I ordered extra spicy and it was perfect. The service was kind, friendly and attentive. Thanks Szechuan House for a great meal…Now today is September 21st. This is my 3rd meal here. As you read earlier, the first time was great. The food was very spicy and great flavor. The second time was ok, but dinner size was smaller than the first time. This 3rd time, what happened? The portion was the same as the second time. But this time the Hunan chicken was not spicy, it was watery and no flavor. What happened?!!

1st time since opening in the new spot. Not bad. I think almost all the negative reviews are from early on. Maybe, there is a way they can be removed since over the last 6 months this place is probably averaging 4-4.5 stars much higher than when they first opened. Food was ok. I can't say great, but overall decent. I will say the house-made chips are so good! I will try again for dinner and see if any better.

It’s being a long time I find a restaurant that the price is good the food it’s great and the service is above and beyond !!! If you have a big or small family and if you have little ones this is the place for you , it’s home away from home .. Robert took care of us my little girls love this place . I highly recommend..

Service is very nice and friendly. Menu is large. Taste-wise, food is okay but not particularly impressive. Several dishes taste quite similar, all with the familiar brown sauce with corn starch thickening. Prices are reasonable. Spacious and clean seating. Lots of parking available. They also have sushi, if that fancies you.

Placed carryout order specifying 1 quart size for carryout. They nodded with understanding but I got a small lunch size and it was not as good ad my regular place which was closed today- Monday. I gave them a chance and they blew it. Their shrimp toast not as good eithet. Once rated baltimore best took a nose dive a few years ago and still never recovered.I wont be back!

Food is great! Hot and sour soup was amoung the best I've ever enjoyed. Their shrimp and broccoli were properly cooked and seasoned as were the appetizers.

Fantastic flavor. Tender and fresh. We had scallion pancakes, egg rolls, orange beef (the most tender beef you will ever have) and general Tso’s chicken. They bring hot tea and wonton chips as soon as you sit down. Reminds me of the Chinese places I used to go to as a kid. The rating on this places deserves to be 5 stars.

This is the authentic Chinese restaurant of my childhood. You receive delicious hot tea and crispy noodles. They serve authentic dishes, but also American style Chinese food and sushi as well. Everything is delicious and served family style. It's worth driving a little farther to sit and eat a good meal.

If you ate here 6 months ago you know that although the food was consistently excellent, the rest was something of a disorganized mess. I worked here; I know. But SCHEWAN HOUSE is back to the experience you had at the previous location! Food always excellent, service excellent, atmosphere about 100% better than previously. Best Chinese restaurant in the metropolitan area!

I loved the old Szechuan House, and was so happy to hear they were opening up. I honestly hadn't had the opportunity to eat there until by chance, yesterday, I was in the area.
The food was better than I remembered, and the prices were ridiculously good for the quality.
I had the pork chop and bok choy lunch special and was shocked to find 2 pork chops in the package! The bok choy was perfectly cooked and flavored, and I could have kept eating that alone all day! So happy to have them back and completely on their A-game!

Came for lunch on Friday. The shrimp fried rice had a very nice flavor, not too salty!! I had the 8 treasure bean curd. It was as good as it was before the old location closed. We skipped soup because it is such a hot day outside.

I have eaten at this restaurant, (former location), since 2000. It was absolutely my favorite Asian Chinese restaurant because of the wide array of authentic Chinese cuisine and its dedicated staff, who always worked above, and beyond. When they closed, and not due to their fault, (leasing), I was absolutely devastated because of the years of eating here at least once/twice a month. I’m so happy they found a new location and the food is just as excellent. I recommend this treasure of a restaurant to everyone…you won’t be disappointed!!! Congratulations my friends.

This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. We showed up when the restaurant reopened several months ago. It was chaotic. The food was cold and the service was very poor. We decided to give them a second chance and it was terrible, and worse than the first time. We ordered the soft shell crab. There was hardly any crab. It was cold, and tasteless. There was a load of breaded corn starch and hardly any crab meet inside. We return it to be reheated and when it arrived the second time it was bitter, saggy and simply terrible.
The vegetable dish was overcooked dripping endless liquid. When I complained to the waitress for the terrible food she said she would inform the manager. The manager came over and I told her in Chinese that the crab was bad. She just nodded her head, said nothing, and still charged us the full amount. She was rude and insensitive. This is the last time we will dare to go there. In fact I got stomach ache. On the positive side, We recently discovered a great Chinese restaurant called Kung Fu on the intersection of Seminary and York. The food is authentic and very delicious. the service is outstanding and the price is right.
No more Sichuan House. Very painful to write those words but it is a summary of the bad experience.

I ordered happy family, triple treasures in garlic sauce, shrimp fried rice, and two wonton soup. The quality of all the food and service were very good, and there were many customers in the restaurant. If you like Chinese and Asian food, I strongly recommend this place. Considering the quality of the food, the prices were reasonable. Free tea and appetizer snack were provided too.

I have been going to the Szechaun House for over 20 years and I am sorry to say that today’s was the worse Chinese food I’ve ever had. There was a group of us so I tried a bit of each dish.

From best to worst:

1. Spicy chicken with mixed vegetables was solid. Nice and spicy as requested.
2. The sushi was perfectly fine, but not great. California roll, spicy tuna, and pearl roll were fine.
3. General Tsao’s chicken was okay - not a lot of sauce and not a lot of flavor. Edible but not enjoyable.
4. Orange flavored beef - at $19!!! - didnt have the slightest hint of orange flavor, and the beef was under fried(cooked, but soft with no crunch at all).
5. Crabmeat wonton - flat and over cooked (too hard). Barely any filling.
6. Hot and Sour Soup - a couple tastes and we threw the rest away. Absolutely horrible. Neither hot, nor sour. Obvious taste of uncooked thickener, like flour or cornstarch.

Horrible experience. The old location was growing increasingly inconsistent before they shut down and they clearly have not resolved their issues - the have exasperated them!! Too many solid alternatives in the area to put up with this. My family will never be back.

Visited there for lunch today. Greeted quickly by friendly staff. We were seated immediately and given tea,chips mustard and duck sauce. Shared cucumber rolls. We had hot and sour soup. We each had a lunch entree. Food was tasty, hot and served quickly. Service was friendly and attentive. I will be back very soon. Highly recommend.

This is like the old sit down style Chinese restaurants of my youth. The decor is blah, but the food is really good and affordable. They bring you tea and wheat noodle chips with sweet and sour and hot mustard. They have a very extensive menu and everything I've had is far better than a normal Chinese carryout place. It's an affordable place to bring your family or a group of friends for some tasty food.
