An award winning restaurant serving Thai and Japanese cuisine since 2001, first in Middle Georgia and offers a sumptuous fusion of flavors for those who enjoy the spice of savory Thai cuisine as well as freshly prepared sushi and sashimi. Fully renovated with a combination of rustic and industrial design to create a more open and inviting atmosphere, a must to visit!!
Gigi, Sushi Thai Restaurant's owner, knows excellent international food. She has traveled the world for almost 20 years as an international flight attendant of an Asian airline. From these travels, she tasted and learned exotic cuisine from several countries but enjoyed the spices of both Japanese and Thai dishes even more. Thus, her experiences led her to Sushi Thai.
I haven’t been here in almost 20 years!!!! And when I say this place didn’t disappoint… it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Our server Jeffery is the epitome of Greatness!!! 100/100!!! New Spot in Town, and it was not bad. A solid 7/10. The place itself it a little confusing, it almost a cafe/ restaurant. Well renovated.
Their menu is extensive and has plenty of options to pick from. The service was quick and great! The food itself was almost perfect. I would recommend to check them out for a quick meal if you want Asian food.

Great honor and respect to the owner of this beautiful restaurant! My husband and I enjoyed our dining experience tremendously. Shout out to our server, Mr. Johnny, and all the staff members for their kindness, professionalism, and welcoming positive vibes! The ambiance is beautiful with soft music and indoor lighting comfort, and if you choose to dine outdoors in the beautiful garden porch, it's nice and cozy. Thank you so much, highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back 💐

However once our server came she changed my mood she was awesome. The food was well balanced with fresh vegetables and sauce. The menu has alot of options to pick from. We picked a variety of food and appetizers. My Ginger tilapia was Amazing I got it extra hot and the chef responded very well to that! Poor front of the house service,(excluding our waitress) but food was good. Its your pick.

Some of the best sushi that I’ve ever had. We visited Sushi Thai for my mom’s birthday and the owners and staff were very accommodating even though we were a very large party (15+ ppl). Everyone enjoyed their meal and the presentation of the rolls were beautiful. I also had the poke bowl and it was wonderful.

Don't waste your time or money. The food had a bad smell, floors were sticky throughout the restaurant, and they have a policy that "if you taste it, then you bought it" so even if you return it to the kitchen then they still charge you for it.

Today I had Lunch, like many times I had very good food and services like in our last visit on December 4 2024 in this restaurant with my partner but today December 8 2024 we went to have lunch again on the same menu the appetizers Gyoza fried beef and vegetable tempura for main course we request Thai Royal Duck and Thai Fried Rice w/ chicken and pork.
Well what a shame to us We never had a problem with the food here but Duck meat was old maybe made yesterday the meat was reheated in the microwave, the meat was hard and dry really how the waitress done realized the condition of the food because you can see the color of the meat but still they served like that the Duck was made fresh and how the chef's do something like that to a customer and specially a customer that the used to been in the restaurant like 3 o 4 times a month.
Thanks anyway but you lose to try to sell a
$ 20.00 dollars plate that was in bad condition to a customer that brought friends and family to eat in this restaurant and we spend every time only for me and my partner $ 60.00 normally almost every week.

My partner didn't like anything except the takoyaki but their customer service is awesome. We didn't complain he just said he didn't like it and we were planning on just biting the bullet with the bill and trying something different next time but he got a refund for what he didn't like without even asking. I came there when another place was working on the roof so we made our visit brief. Hope to come back soon with my friends.

Usually pretty on it but on a slow Thursday evening my to go order took 20 min longer to be ready after given time for pickup. Staff didn’t care and just kept wandering around after asking twice for the status of my order. Also was only 3 tables in the whole place so I’m not sure what was being done. Order was also wrong in the end.

It's been awhile since I've eaten here, but I wanted to update my review once more.
They really surprised me with all of the specials. With a few personal recommendations by me being the Kimbap roll, butter scallop nigiri, sakejang, and the anya roll(loved the reference to the roll)
Also with so many options for kitchen as well. This place will have you coming back for more.
I noticed they expanded on their vegan selections.
So once again, thank you all for making everything wonderful. Will be back real soon!

I've been a sushi chef for over a decade and when I get a craving for sushi, I go to Sushi Thai. It is clear that they take the extra time and care to make a lot from scratch. The same applies for the Thai and Japanese food from the kitchen. I can promise that other sushi places in the area do not do this with their sauces, rice vinegar, tuna and crab mix, etc.
Highly recommend for all occasions, from work lunches to special date nights. Best sushi in the 478.

If i could give 0 stars I would. This was literally one of the worst dining experiences & dirtiest places I have ever eaten at. There were roach casings in my food and the server tried to convince me it was corn. There wasn’t even corn in the food i ordered so that was a lie. I saw two roaches crawling across the table across from me and the server said they were ants. I know what an ant looks like. When i mentioned it to the owner or boss or whoever it was, he only offered to give me free food this time, the next time i came, and asked me not to tell anyone. This place needs to be shut down and condemned.

My husband got the Royal Duck it was beautifully seasoned and super crispy like it should be. I want to start off by saying the food is really good here, however I give places 3 chances to make up before I will pass on them however the past 3 times I have been here the service is always EXTREMELY slow. Ive never been here when its been busy so im clueless as to why its so slow so I am choosing for that reason to no longer come back here. If you are fine with EXTREMELY SLOW, but great food then give it a shot however extremely slow and that’s the thing I’m willing to wait on. I can excuse a waitress saying they are fairly new but not when all 3 times I’ve had the same type of service.

Oh my god! I don't know why I haven't been here more often! Probably my new favorite restaurant in Warner Robins. The atmosphere was great, emulating a lush, cool garden with all the plants and the tables and general vibe of the restaurant was top tier. Dine-In if you can! Beyond that, our server was the perfect mix of laid back and working, she had a wonderful energy and was attentive, but not overbearing. AND THE FOOD! the food was simply to die for! I just came from Columbus where we have a wonderful collections of Thai places to eat at, and they're all lovely. I was so worried that WR's wasn't going to snuff up but this! This restaurant was PERFECT. I ordered the Massaman Curry (one of my favorites) and wow! The flavors were great. And the Takoyaki was delicious as well, better than the Mizu Ramen's (in columbus) which is the only comparison I have. My mom got the Fried Rice, which she devoured and loved! I will be coming back here! If I could I'd come here everyday!

I have on occasions eaten at the restaurant Covid I stopped. Mother’s Day I wanted Thai. My son and I came in he walked up to server and got his attention that we were waiting to be seated. I love Thai food any I have great memories of this place. Please improve your customer service. My experience.

I didn't care for it, unfortunately. I had read the many great reviews and figured I would try it out since the other Thai place I wanted to try was closed that day. I opted for the teriyaki chicken lunch combo that came with the option of miso soup or salad. I selected the salad. I also got the fried ice cream. Order took over 30 minutes to be prepared. The decor of the restaurant is super cute, nice music. I noticed a piano inside as well. Upon getting home and eating the food I was super disappointed. The rice was dry - no flavor. Thankfully, the yum yum sauce helped. I had a headache for the rest of the day. Wasn't told at the time of ordering but the only salad dressing was a type of ginger dressing. Found that out when I received my order and then asked what type of dressing was provided. Luckily it tasted pretty good with the salad. The fried ice cream wasn't like the typical fried ice cream I've had many times before from other places. It only came with chocolate sauce/ syrup. But it was super doughy and soft instead of crunchy. No flavor to it. Overall, I doubt I'd return.

Update: I enjoyed the Beef Thai Basil and Thai Basil rolls with peanut sauce. Usually I order the extra hot Thai Basil: this time the cook got it right 🔥. Very appetizing meal.

Update: Same great customer service. At the owners suggestion, I tried something new, "Drunken Noodles". It was delicious. I ordered the meal to go and the noodles soaked up the juices which caused them to stick together and become dry. It still was very tasty. I highly recommend. Also had my usual, Thai Basil Roll. First time trying Hot and Sour Soup....the clear broth had deep flavor like it cooked for hours in herbs.

Update: Still great food. Large Sushi menu. I love the Thai Basil entree and had chicken this time along with a Thai Basil Roll. Just delicious 😋.

Would have given 5 stars but I was seated under the stairs (not a pleasant view). Also, meal options were soup or salad. I asked for chicken noodle soup and was never served.

It’s refreshing especially these days to receive great service from young person (20s?) who obviously cares about their job and takes pride in it. We are lucky to have a few very good Sushi restaurants in the area but for an overall pick this is my favorite. The Sushi boat was the best I’ve probably ever had…so fresh and full of flavor. Upgrade to the Bruce Lee roll….you won’t be disappointed! Great job Johnny and Sushi Thai.

I went to dinner alone. The atmosphere was calm and had a nice setting. I had the barbecue eel sushi, a salad and the ginger crispy fish. The sushi was amazing!! Our server was rude, inattentive, and disrespectful. He comes to the table in a rush without introducing himself and takes our drink orders in an annoyed manner.
The first issue was the amount of time it took for him to correct an issue with our drinks.
We ordered half-half tea, which he then proceeds to bring out sweet tea. No problem, it's just that it literally took him 20 minutes to come back so we can alert him of our issue. After letting him know, he says that's only because they make their tea super sweet. No problem, we say just bring out a water cup and we'll do it ourselves. He then says no, I will just bring you out a half/half, only for him to take another 15 min to bring us out... *Drum Roll* an unsweetened tea!! That's over 35 min to get an unsatisfactory half/half tea!!
Now the food was delicious, you won't get any gripes from me on that. However, after finishing eating, we once again were waiting for our server. Finally, a nice lady came and saw we were finished and asked if we would like our plates removed and needed anything else. We asked for the check so that we could finally leave since our server abandoned us.
This brings me to our second issue with our server, who comes around the corner in a rush again to say he can check us out himself up front. After such a terrible experience, I left him without a tip. He then blurts loudly to a coworker behind him, "NO TIP" and scoffs!
There was an attempt by management to remedy the situation, but even then, Chef Aaron was excusing the servers' actions in trying to justify his reasoning. Chef Aaron was nice but wrong is wrong!

Went in on my lunch break and ordered a sushi roll and poke bowl. Drove 5 miles to drop off food to my friend who was at the doctor's office. Her order was completely wrong. Looking further into my order, my poke bowl was made completely wrong. When you order salmon and tuna, on your poke bowl, they give you the correct amount of one or the other meat. There was more samon than tuna. Then, the owners son was very aggressive in his tone of voice, saying that it was the correct portion of the salmon and tuna. I can take some salmon off and give you some more tuna. I said to him I paid for salmon and tuna, and it should be equally portioned. .Horrible experience, food didn't taste fresh and the service was not up to par. If you are the son of the owner of a family owned restaurant, you should not be aggressive to your customers. You're supposed to set an example and appreciate your family owned a business.

This was extra special,my husband's birthday and we drove from another county just to eat here. They were short staffed but still kept everyone happy,no one walked out or complained. Inside is beautiful a tribute to the roaring 20s with twinkling chandeliers paired with the wrought-iron and exposed fixtures of the Industrial Revolution. Jazz playing in the background as content diners laughed and conversed. We ordered everything from sushi to curry and even chicken fingers! Sharing and enjoying our food and making memories. Weird restaurant
Front door was locked so presumed
Place was closed
We did find the actual entrance
When I walked in though it was a gift shop.
Problem
Was given a dinner menu
And after asking about lunch
I was told we don't offer lunch menus unless requested.
What. It was lunch time 11am ..hmm
Asked for spices sauce and brought out an empty jar.
Total lack of attention to detail
Overcharged us and per mngr
The price is subject to change
And would not adjust
Very poor customer skills
But food is good not great but best
You will get for 100miles
I may come back and maybe not.

I had some difficulties visiting this restaurant due to their irregular business hours. They were closed on Labor Day and also have a daily break from 2:30 to 4:30 PM. I suggest calling ahead to confirm their availability.
However, once I got in, I was impressed by their elegant and spacious dining room. The décor was stunning and unique, with a bar, high ceilings, exotic plants, and ornate furniture. It felt like a different world.
The service was prompt and friendly. I ordered a sushi combo with tempura veggies, spicy smoked salmon sushi, miso soup, and seaweed salad. The presentation was beautiful and the portions were generous. The sushi was especially delicious, with a mango chutney and a crunchy texture. The smoked salmon was unlike anything I had before.
The other dishes were also tasty and satisfying. I enjoyed the whole meal and the atmosphere. I thank Sushi Thai for their hospitality and culinary skills. I highly recommend this place and I will be back soon.

We have been here three times and each time there is always something incorrect with our order. This time the chef made the wrong food on two accounts and it was not even palatable. It’s unfortunate because we want to like this establishment but the regular errors are unacceptable especially when you pay what you pay despite the issues. I will say the sushi chefs are great and they have good options that taste wonderful… but Probably won’t be back.

Visiting for a few days. Was in the mood for thai food. Thought it was a cute older place. But we where seated and ordered had a very nice waiter. He was very attentive. He brought the beverages, salad, and soup. And then the entrie came. Very disappointed. The noodles where hard and uncooked, ordered a 3.5 hot spicy which it was not at all spicy. Just very disappointed. We paid the bill and left. We won't be back. Just waisted money again. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else.

The first time my friend and I came here after church, we were determined to return the following week and I can we’ve been back 4 times since then! I absolutely love the many options in Asian cuisines. Food is delicious and the atmosphere is so lovely. Also their lunch specials are so affordable!

The decor was lovely! The Hostess was inviting and informative. My miso soup and Dragon Roll were fantastic! The service was very friendly. My only complaint: our server was distracted by some service staff problem (the Hostess said). I felt like our order was forgotten for awhile. When it came the caviar was absent from the garnish and had to be sent back. They made it right with a good attitude. I will definitely be back and do recommend this restaurant☺️

New management! Same classic dishes, new menu items (lots of vegan choices), and great atmosphere. Our server was Jerome and he was so sweet and accommodating. Good to have you back, Sushi Thai! ❤️

Our family decided to stop here for dinner based on good reviews. How does this place have good reviews!? A major red flag was the sign as you go in that states Japanese cuisine is an acquired taste so don't ask for anything to be removed from your bill because you don't like the taste. I decided maybe too many people were trying to get out of paying for their food. Nope. The food really is so terrible that I can see why people would request items be removed from the bill. We didn't say anything about the food because I felt it was pointless having read the sign. I also had to abandon my husband as he paid the bill (he never complains as he doesn't feel comfortable saying anything) because our teenage son was outside throwing up. The only decent item we had was the fried jb sushi roll and it was definitely not top tier sushi. The crab angel appetizers were not good and tasted strange. We did eat them because there were five in an order and seven of us and we were hungry. The salads were from a bag and they had obviously been sitting in the open bowls in a refrigerator for a while as the lettuce was brown in spots and soggy. We hoped that the actual food would be better. It took approximately 45 minutes to receive our meals. The restaurant only had a few other customers while we there from around 6:00-7:30 on a Monday night, so they were far from busy. The server was very nice but would leave for a refill (we all only had one refill each) and not return for 10-15 minutes. We only had six drinks total as we didn't order one for our toddler. We asked for two drinks to be refilled one time and the other four to be refilled later on, so we were not constantly asking. We even had to request silverware a second time as we had salads and sushi but no way to eat them. My teenage son squashed a large cockroach for them while we waited on our food.
The actual meal was even worse. My husband ordered duck. It was tough, dry, and rubbery and being a man of the woods said he thought it was pigeon instead of duck. He choked it down because of being hungry and knowing we would have to pay for it anyway. My daughter and I ordered hibachi steak and chicken. Literally the worst hibachi we've ever eaten. The steak was burned and the vegetables had to be frozen, bagged vegetables. The rice was somewhat edible but no one ate more than a couple of bites. Probably a good thing as the rice started to topple out of one of the bowls as they were bringing the food out, and one of our children saw them mash it back in the bowl with a bare hand. Unfortunately this wasn't mentioned until after we left. Our middle son ordered Ramen which is typically his favorite thing to eat. The spoon for his Ramen was wet and smelled like straight bleach, so he couldn't use it. He tried to eat the Ramen but only managed a little which he proceeded to 10 minutes later violently vomit in my vehicle as we were driving. Our two oldest sons ordered different variations of the curry. It smelled and tasted like handsoap. Disgusting. The oldest always eats everything and he couldn't choke it down. Our teenage son immediately went outside and proceeded throw up the small amount he had eaten. It had instantly made his stomach hurt as he started eating. No we aren't sick and no we don't have stomach issues after eating. It was the food. Thankfully our toddler only ate half of the outside of a crab angel, one bite of sushi, and one bite of chicken. I gave him a bite of steak that he promptly spit on the floor. He refused to eat anything after that. This is not typical behavior for him. He was so hungry and frustrated from waiting so long that he gave up and went to sleep. At least he didn't get sick as well. In this economy this was an expensive mistake costing us $162.48 which doesn't include removing the vomit from my vehicle or the second dinner we had to go purchase. They also add 20% gratuity for a "group" which was $25.31 on our bill. As the bill was paid they asked if we wanted to leave a tip. Um, the tip was already added.
TLDR: The food is disgusting and overpriced.

Ordered 4 entree and I was unable to eat any of them. All of them were too salty to eat as prepared. The waitress was very kind, but the owner said that he it would be the same even if he remade it because the bases are pre-made. Beware that they woll NOT remove items from the bill no matter what.

Never tasted the food, dude with the man bun sat us down and said he would be right with us. Me and my girlfriend waited, we decided to leave and he didn’t even acknowledge that we left. We were the only people there. Dont know why they would take so long if there is nobody else but us.

Ample parking. Greeted and met by the staff (Jerome) as soon as we walked in. Jerome ended up being our waiter. We ate outside which was well kept up i.e. no dirt or grime on the seats or table. Jerome was extremely friendly and welcoming. He quickly took our drink order and we didn’t feel rushed when trying to decide on our drinks. Once we selected our drinks he went to go get them which gave us time to order food. He came back extremely quick but still didn’t get frustrated that we weren’t ready with our food order. He’s very observant as he brought lids for the cups that went to the kids. We ordered a ton of sushi! It was delicious. Nice fat pieces with great fat lines. We also had the Pad Thai which was spicy and perfect! We finished with Boba which was also delicious. Overall great experience thanks to Jerome!! Highly recommend Sushi Thai to everyone, especially if you can get Jerome as your waiter!

Came here with my son this evening and the Ramen was amazing. We had the Bruce Lee roll as well. I’ve been living in the area a year and haven’t been somewhere with such consistency before today. Will be coming back.

I went there for the first time today and it was a wonderful experience. Delicious sushi, fanatic service and good company from those working the sushi bar (G). Needless to say, if you like sushi, you will love this place and the peaceful environment it holds. Thank you to all the staff for an exquisite meal.

We ordered for three people. Only the kids' meal was right. We were very hungry, so pleasing us should've been easy. The appetizer was chicken karage. It was chewy, dry, and overdone on a skewer. The abacore sushi was seared and peppered instead of fresh as stated. The Beach Roll had an added ingredient not stated on the menu, which we're allergic to. The staff doesn't know the menu. We should have driven 4 minutes away to the other dining option. Just gross and dry.

As an avid Japanese food eater, I would have to say hands-down the worst experience I've had. I'm not sure what has happened with this restaurant but it seems that there has been a lot of changing of hands to the point that both the manager and server made it clear that they were new and still in training. The server was nice enough but seemed very anxious. The menus were not updated, so one menu item I ordered came with eel on top and was not described as such on the menus we were provided. When we spoke about this, we were apologized to, but were advised that all of the menus had not been updated yet and that the manager-in-training would speak to the owner regarding the issue. Secondly, the chicken in the pad Thai was three-times dead, and so was the chicken karage. The manager-in-training advised that "they had an actual Thai lady in the back cooking so she knew the Pad Thai was authentic." I have never left a Google review and not one to complain, but this warranted a heads-up. They did remove the sushi roll, but wouldn't do anything else, not that we were asking, about the rest of the meal. To top it off, the charged 0.50 for the limes we asked for in our waters!

I wish I was a GA local because this is one of my new favorite restaurants! They have such a diverse menu with lots of options for different preferences. Primarily, they have sushi and hibachi favorites, Thai curry dishes, lots of Japanese sides (like gyoza), and build your own poke bowls. They have a good drink menu too.
The atmosphere is also so nice! The dim lighting and jazz music would be so nice for a date night, but it was also a nice experience for our family outing too. Their prices were very reasonable, and the service was absolutely excellent! I recommend this place very highly to anyone who likes this type of cuisine.

Writing this review so they can hopefully see it and hire pest control. Had my graduation dinner here and immediately lost our appetite when we saw roches coming from almost every corner. Service was okay, took a while for my glass of wine. This used to be my favorite place, it’s sad seeing it go down hill.

I have been here a few times over the years. My last visit was maybe a week ago. The service was good, they stayed on top of the drinks and provide a bottle of chilled water. The waitress was patient explaining some things to a member of our party who was not familiar with all the options.
When I walked in, I noticed a sign behind the counter saying something like, "We serve Thai and Japanese meals, we do not refund for a lack of acquired taste." I have worked in Asian restaurants before, so I get the premise; but we did not post a sign about it. We just had the certain dishes that the staff knew to ask customers, "Is this your first time trying this? It can be an acquired taste, so we just like to let customers know that it may not be for everyone before we prepare it."
My friend and I ordered dishes to be spicy, we requested level 3 of 5. I understand this can be subjective and varying based on the cook and restaurants, but there was no spice at all present in our food. Even then, I am use to restaurants underspicing my food since many customers don't know their spice tolerance, so I made sure to ask for the spice carrier. Even the spices on the carrier had almost no kick to them. I could speculate possible reasons why, but a manager should be able to figure out whatever is awry.
Lastly, they had live music playing. I am take it or leave it regarding music while dining. In this case though, it was not any added value for us. We were sat 10 feet from the guy singing with a wall interposed, and it was still loud enough we kept having to speak up and repeat ourselves to have a conversation; or hear the waitress. I would have put a singer and his speaker up on the second floor since it was empty.

Pretty gangster hibachi and sushi. Little spendy, but you definitely get what you pay for. The poke bowls are works of art. Our server Toby always gives us the best dining experience.

The menu has a nice mix of Japanese and Thai cuisine. I was excited that this was one of the only places to have Japanese Takoyaki anywhere nearby. The atmosphere is super cool with various trinkets and cool things on display.
