I’ve been coming here for about a year. So I can give a full review on it. The employees are very welcoming. The style of the store is great. However the food lately has been getting cold. I’ve gone to all different hours. And the food for dinner prices which is 17.99 is NOT worth it. The food is cold. 3 plus people are required to tip even though all they do is take your plate and just refill your water. We barely asked for them but they wouldn’t take a small tip. Demanding 4 dollars at least of tip. Which was never stated elsewhere that it was required. At least to my knowledge. Bathrooms need a lot of work and the food is mostly repetitive every time. Yes the food may seem good. But it’s like gambling. Sometimes good sometimes bad. I’d recommend if you’re going alone and want to try a new place. But only early morning or before 1pm. After that I don’t see any effort to even keep the food warm or sanitary. No lids for the food except for that rice cooker in the corner. Good place for a first time. After that not really recommended

Staff were very friendly, buffet was clean and steaming. We arrived at 11:15 and they had just opened. A few food options were warm but not hot. Our waitress was fantastic, drinks were filled, plates cleared out often, and she was friendly. I’m only giving a four because some of the food being cold but most of everything else was great and service again, fantastic!

For three people for lunch time it was $18.99 per person and about $3 for a pop and $3 for lemonade.

Don't go here they charge a hidden service fee of 15% of your bill if you have 5 or more people in your party. They don't tell you but have a small sign that was backwards towards the cashier up front podium. Receipt will say pretip amount but your service fee is included in your total. Beware they swindle you here. Just get uber eats at least you know your service fee. Paid $256 for 10 people $31 service fee included we unknowingly tiped the waitress great con. Mid food . Also didn't give itemized receipt that would of shown the service fee before I paid and no need for tip!

This was honestly the worst place ever. We got there Thanksgiving day as soon as they opened. The lady that sat us was not friendly at all. We were told there won't be a 15% charge for gratuity. For a buffet? OK, we were hungry. The food looked good.It was 90.00 dollars for my husband, son and myself. The food was cold and not tasty at all. So, it only looked good. We were very disappointed and won't return.

Stumbled upon this gem when our Thanksgiving Day lunch spot was closed. Friendly and attentive staff, buffet is well maintained and refreshed often. The place shows its age, but overall it was clean and the other customers seemed as happy as me and my lunch guest were.

Absolutely horrible!!!! The food was mostly room temp or completely cold . It was either salty or no flavor at all and the desserts I’d stay away from completely!!!! As my 10 year old is eating I notice something underneath the desert roll . It was covered in mold that they clearly saw because they added another layer of cream over it but the mold was still clearly there . I told the waiter who snatched the plate from my hands before I was able to take a picture. Out total for a family of 7 was 179.57 . No discount offered or apology for serving moldy food . My husband is a inspector for the county. He went to this place on this evening to get us some food for our dinner he said he tasted the food to be sure it was fresh and was verbally attacked and harrassed by the owner who told him he could not sample the food. The food is absolutely disgusting. I went home had massive diarrhea. Their oysters are FAKE. They put fake crab inside the oysters shells. The jello had prices of napkins sticking on it. The fried food was all somehow dry and soggy at the same time. Everything was sour due to it be EXPIRED. And I found a BUG in my FOOD. As well as the bathroom.

The staff was extremely rude to me and my family. They make us PAY BEFORE WE EAT, because they know the food is bad. They yelled at me because I left food on my plate, but I only left crawfish shells and sweet and sour sauce. So they made me LICK the sauce OFF my PLATE or else they said they will charge me for it. They also charged my brother’s credit card after we left for “not finishing the food”. The tall Asian man is the owner at the front when you walk in and is the rudest person I’ve ever met. I also wanted took look at what they had before we ate and he yelled at me and my family and threatened to call the POLICE.

When I saw the outside of the place I thought it was a haunted house. It says it costs 12.99 but they charge $19.

I've gone to this restaurant for years and I was shocked seeing all the bad reviews. It looks like they did a reverse face-lift on it so I decided to go back and check it out. Alot of the negative posts, I BELIEVE, are due to the time of day. So, I went at 430, all the food was stocked up, hot and fresh. They have Buffalo and American style fried Buffalo wings now which was awesome. It was busy but not Cracker Barrel busy. Alot of large families. I saw the "menacing" tall Asian man who was handling all the customers. He took the large family in front of us to the cashier to give them their total before they were seated. He wasn't rude, just all business. 5pm, the fried blue crabs came out with a fresh hunk of roast beef you slice off what you want. And if anyone has issue with there not being enough Asian food or the food on the buffet is cold, they literally have a hibachi right as you walk in to have anything cooked right then and there while you wait for it. The sushi has changed, more rolls with cream cheese (I think) in them and the ahi and salmon are in tuna chunks instead of slices. I included a Pic of my tab for two people that did not force a 15% tip, which we never had that experience. The T on the tab is for Tax. I gave the cashier a 8$ cash tip for my waitress out of CHOICE. The receipt gives you a spot to add whatever amount you want but they tax tips so I do cash. Anyway, hope this helps clear the air. I would not drive 20 miles to eat here, but I would for Cody's steakhouse before they burned down. If you want a quick filling meal with a large variety of American and Asian food that is all you can eat, this is a great spot. I would give them 5 if their salad had more to choose from. Terrible place, I saw silverfish and small roaches byvthe deserts and I had just got there with my wife. We didn't even finish our first plate. We should have know what was coming from the smell of 1990's locker room and feet that hit us on the way in. All the hot food actually looked really delicious...deceiving! The fried food was all somehow dry and soggy at the same time. The dumplings were squishy on the bottom and fully leather on the top. All the hot food was room temperature and fairly tasteless. The sushi was lukewarm and the "salmon" was mushy and peachy-grey. The soup was just flavorless and bleh. They had some pretty yummy mango jello. Scoop your own ice cream in 8 great flavors was far and beyond the best part of the meal. DO NOT try any of the other desserts though. Just bad 😕 1 star...would NOT try again. Don't go!

First red flag 🚩 I noticed about this place the outside of the building looks like it is run down and closed. Instantly we I hope the food didn’t taste how it looked. We were celebrating my grandmothers birthday and this place is where she wanted us to go due to a recommendation. 2nd red flag 🚩 was we had to pay before being seated. So we paid asked for water, but was charged a 15%surplus that wasn’t explained to me at all, I end up ordering a soda anyway which I wouldn’t mind paying for but would have prefer to have known prior.

I grabbed a plate and sat down everyone in our group of 12 instantly started complaining about how cold the food was, we should have gotten up and left but as I stated we were celebrating our grandmothers birthday 🎂.

They had piles of fried food and no matter how far you pull from the bottom it was cold and tasteless. Code enforcement really need to look further into this place. We went around lunch time so I’m now sure how bad dinner is. Everything I picked up from the buffet was cold.

We decided to eat at the hibachi grill and surprisingly it was good and definitely hot because it was freshly made. I decided to try some dessert some of the cake was ok but there were some stale pieces of cake, especially the coconut cake 🤢

As we were leaving I noticed there was a group of people being let in for dinner and they allowed them to be seated without having to pay. I questioned him asking “why did we have to pay before sitting down “? His response was oh you’re new so you don’t know how this goes 🤔 and we didn’t charge him because it’s all on 1 check. What sense does this make?????? I definitely told him we were not coming back due to his attitude and disgusting food. He said he didn’t care, and I believe him due to the tasteless effort of food and the overall experience. DO NOT GO trust me I’m sure they are breaking code enforcement laws. Really wish I didn’t have to put a star for this post but it will not allow me to post it without at least putting 1 star.

I wouldn't even give the place one star. I am one of those that gladly leave postive reviews fpr restaurants. I can also overlook an ocvasional bad moment. I spent plenty of time working in the restaurant industry myself. So I know it can feel thankless at times. But this guy was about as rude as it gets from the start. He made it no secret our party of 10 was really putting him off. He snapped at my wife for no reason - I mean none at all. From there we made a quick exit after I made it very clear how incredibly out of line he was . Plus the buffet looked like it had been left unattended for hours. Honestly, I have always enjoyed dining out with friends and family. Thos was no doubt the single worst restaurant experience I have had in my sixty years. My experience at Wei’s Hibachi Buffet was unfortunately underwhelming. During our visit, the variety of dishes was quite limited with only one type of rice available and a sparse selection overall. The food lacked flavor and did not meet our expectations.

Given the $35 we spent for two people, we expected more variety and better taste. It was disappointing as we had hoped it would be a hidden gem, but it fell short of that mark.

If you're considering dining here, I would advise thinking twice about it. For a similar price point, places like Applebee's offer a 2 for $25 deal that might provide better value and a more satisfying dining experience.

Overall, our visit to Wei’s Hibachi Buffet left us feeling like we didn't get the quality or selection we were hoping for.

I am completely appalled what I witnessed this evening. Came to try this place out for the first time and I will never be back. As I am finishing up my meal a lady with a service dog and her family came in to eat. Mind you there is a sign on the window by the entrance that says they ALLOW service animals, well I guess not today. The very rude man in front yelled at this poor lady and told her the dog was NOT allowed to be in the restaurant and to get out. Words were exchanged and she tried to show this man a document saying it was a service dog but he was not having it and repeated to get out. She did leave. What this place does not understand is that it's AGAINST THE LAW to refuse a documented service animal. They cannot be around the kitchen or by the food but can be by the table. This restaurant has now opened itself up for a lawsuit and to be honest I hope she does. If they don't want service dogs there then TAKE DOWN THE SIGN!!! Being a Veteran they have completely lost my business and I will be letting others know to not eat here. If you have a service dog find another place to eat that will respect the service dog laws!!

We recently visited this ever changing name to cover themselves from lawsuits, for a meal and had an absolutely horrendous experience. As soon as we were seated by the rudest tall Asian owner, I noticed a rat scurrying across the floor near the buffet area. It was shocking and incredibly unhygienic. Despite informing the staff, nothing was done to address the issue other than the owners short skinny Asian wife chasing the rat with a knife trying to chop the rats head off as we were about to be seated. YOU CAN ONLY IMAGINE THE FEAR OF THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT!!

To make matters worse, I saw several cockroaches crawling around the food trays. This is completely unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone one that is supposed to serve fresh food.

The lack of cleanliness and apparent disregard for health standards left me appalled. Needless to say, I will never be returning and I strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs. It’s a health hazard waiting to happen and this place should be shut down permanently not just temporarily as the health dept has done three times since Covid. Report this place at all costs!!! This couple should be arrested for what they are doing!!!

There were no beef options at all and the hibachi was not very good. Some of the food was delicious, but it was just ok. I also was told the drinks were included but was charged $2.50 for 5 people. I have kidney disease and only drink water but got a lemonade that was terrible. I took one sip and drank water. You need to ask if people want drinks, that is kind of illegal!

Manager was very disrespectful and rude, he wouldn't even let me talk.
I would give them a zero.
It's a shame that this used to be a very nice place to go and due to that new manager everything is declining, I drove for almost 2 hours as I live far, for him doing this

La comida está vieja y fría, no es recién elaborado, los roles de sushi tenían allí como un mes! El chino de la puerta es súper grosero y te trata como si el está regalando la comida, la propina es obligatoria, y ya cobran el 15% del servicio pero exigen MÁS! Y lo exigen de mala forma. Nada está fresco, y el olor es repugnante huele a baño sin lavar todo el establecimiento. NO LO RECOMIENDO! Y NO VOLVERÍA!
