Located in Tampa's Hyde Park Village, ro offers a modern take on Asian cuisine and sushi. Fresh ingredients are a focus, with fish sourced directly from Toyosu Market and premium options like A5 Wagyu beef and caviar. The dining experience is elevated through innovative dishes and captivating tableside presentations like the Peking Duck.
Service and atmosphere were great. Food was average but some 🍣 was unique. Wagyu appetizer was interesting Overpriced with minimal plating ambiance. I prefer when restaurants don't automatically add a 20% gratuity to the bill. That should be 100% at the discretion of customer.

This review is for the lunch omakase for myself and a friend. Amazing all around, great quality, delicious items, atmosphere and value for money. I will be back! I highly recommend going! Thank you to Frankie and the staff who provided great service. They made a substitute for me since I don’t eat beef. At the end of the meal we ordered 2 pieces of uni on top of the omakase. The only critique is that our drinks came halfway through the meal since the bar was backed up.

Our server was very helpful and kind so no complaints there. We went for lunch and got the nigiri, a couple rolls, and poke. As a huge sushi enthusiast who is always looking for quality sushi in the Tampa area and wherever I travel, I simply don’t think the quality of fish is good enough to justify the nigiri being 2x the price as the average sushi place in the area. It’s definitely not bad quality fish, but probably on par with my local neighborhood spot.
The ambiance is nice and the location is upscale, but if you are picky when it comes to sushi, the premium prices for average tasting fish here may not be worth it.

Stumbled upon Ro after meeting some friends and were so happy we did. The interior is designed beautifully, colorful yet warm. The staff were very nice too! The food was delicious! I got a bento box to try a few different things and everything was fresh and flavorful. I even enjoyed the weekend playlist of 90s hip hop. I can’t want to come back and bring other friends. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in some time in this level of restaurant in Tampa!

Chef Matt and Nhat were absolutely amazing during the lunch omakase service. Every bite was divine and they explained each component and flavor we tried. The attention to detail was unmatched and overall experience was something I’ll always remember. Highly, highly recommend if you love sushi and were looking to try an omakase experience in Tampa for a reasonable price. Thank you ro for a wonderful lunch!

This contemporary Asian restaurant is situated in Hyde Park Village, an open-air shopping area in Tampa, regarded for its stylish dining options and upscale retailers.
Upon arrival, we appreciated the modern interior design, characterized by a sophisticated black and warm orange palette. The open sashimi station provided a unique opportunity to observe the skilled chefs. Our server, Hadassah, delivered commendable service during our late lunch, offering friendly insights about local attractions in the charming city.
The culinary offerings were noteworthy. The Bluefin Poke, featuring fresh akami, toro, and avocado puree, presented beautifully over rice and was visually striking and delicious. The Bulgogi Skirt Steak stood out for its tenderness and rich flavor, highlighted by a delightful combination of Korean Gochujang sauce and other expertly blended ingredients. Hadassah’s suggestion of lychee-infused sangria was an excellent pairing, enhancing our enjoyable afternoon in Florida. We concluded our meal with a complimentary vanilla ice cream, which was very pleasant.
The menu featured a variety of appealing fusion Asian dishes, including a selection of high-quality fresh sashimi and sushi options.

Food was exceptional, service amazing with a modern vibe. Our server, Stevie, recommended a progressive menu starting with the cold and hot starters. I recommend the tuna carpaccio, which melted in your mouth to the wagyu gyoza dumplings! We also tried the ceviche maki (sushi)...so great! For entrees we had the truffle risotto with duck and the bulgogi skirt steak...the flavors were amazing and came together for bites so good they will be memorable for a long time! We will be back to try more items from the menu. :)

The bartender’s service was unacceptable.( January 12. 225) She ( female ) didn’t say hello or make any effort to be welcoming . No one checked how my food was, and when I needed something, it felt like I was bothering them. The lack of attention and their rudeness made the experience unpleasant. I won’t be coming back unless improvements are made. However food was amazing and atmosphere . This place aims for a fine dining experience, but the bar service falls far short. The staff clearly needs to improve their skills and professionalism to match the standards of this type of establishment.

If you have not tried Ro yet, you are missing out! I’ve been multiple times now and the quality and service is always on point. Atmosphere is great, love when you can tell a restaurant cares about the little details, like having mouthwash and floss in restrooms.
It’s my go to restaurant for sushi in Tampa, highly recommend the ceviche, ro roll or bluefin platter. My recent visit I tried a Wagyu entree off of their weekly features menu and it was fantastic! Melt in your mouth. Highly recommend

Review for outdoor Bar only. The Bar top counter was dirty and sticky from previous guests, had to ask for it to be wiped off, after waiting 10 minutes to be acknowledged- which we weren’t. Personality Void Bartenders told us they were out of the VERMOUTH needed to make Perfect Manhattans, so had to settle for something else. Glasses were the size of shot glasses, and prices were ridiculous- No thanks -Pass.

Ro flies in their fish in fresh, so everything on their sushi menu is as good as what you'd find on the West Coast. That said, the menu is beyond sushi. You will find warming noodle dishes, Korean-style fried chicken, or truffled risotto served in a clay- pot. The sake menu is excellent, too.

Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Cannot believe this was our first time eating here in over 4 years of living in Tampa. The spicy chicken karuuge was the single best chicken and rice dish I’ve ever had. The spice level was perfect, the chicken was perfect.

Coming from Miami and Europe, where I’ve had the opportunity to try high-quality sushi at similar price points, I was quite disappointed with this restaurant. The sushi rice was poorly prepared, it fell apart easily and was overly humid, turning into what felt like a sticky, doughy ball.
We also ordered a chutoro roll with truffle that had no discernible truffle flavor at all. The wagyu and toro in this maki, which was among the priciest one on the menu, was surprisingly flavorless and didn’t meet expectations for its price tag.
That said, the noodles were quite good, and the service was excellent. The complementary ice cream at the end was a nice touch, but it felt like an attempt to make up for the lack of quality earlier in the meal. Unfortunately, while there were some highlights, the food overall just didn’t justify the cost.

This is by far our new favorite date night spot in Tampa. We sat at the sushi bar and JP, Chef Matt and Alicia took great care of us. The Hamachi Carpaccio was bright and light to start off. Then we had a beautiful flight of tuna sashimi. Chef Matt rounded out our night with the ultimate (it’s off menu so make sure to ask about it). There wasn’t a single thing on the menu that didn’t look and sound amazing. The staff were fantastic, and the food was out of this world. Oh, and if you like kimchi, ask for a side - it’s fresh and just spicy enough.

If you enjoy breaking the wallet for atmosphere and feeling fancy but don’t care about quality food, this is for you oh privileged one. Only saving grace was a nice server. Nigiri and basic rolls highly overpriced with suspect fish quality. Caused immediate reactions in the body after the first bite. Yikes, so much better sushi in Tampa than to waste your money and health here. The duck was very good and tender, that was a plus but there was a limited amount in the yakisoba. Way too heavy on the sauce too, ruined what could have been a decent dish. Overpriced low quality fish and covering dishes in sauce is not exactly the way we wanted this otherwise beautiful restaurant to end up. It is Hyde Park though, so shame on us for thinking otherwise.

Ro is fire,
Chef Matt Lai served an amazing array of fish full of flavor and we had a wonderful conversation. Chef Matt was very detailed and gracious with his knowledge of sushi. This is the best sushi spot in Tampa hands down. I’ll be back!
Ps. Get the toyosu market fish, and the duck fried rice if you need something to share with the homies.

Finally tried this spot. The food was just not good. The rolls looked and tasted like they came from Publix. The bulgogi hand rolls (2 @ $23 each) were cold and not appetizing. Finally, this avocado half filled with crab and shrimp thing was disgusting. The avocado was black and bruised. Final bill was $162 with tip .. even if the bill was free, I would not eat here again ..
Oh .. they owe me a dry cleaning service because my pants are stained from the dirty chairs ..
Apparently they actually strived at one time to be Michelin rated .. long way to go.

I had dinner here recently, overall everything was great, truly a diamond in the rough with all these disappointing hyped up restaurants. Tampa really needed this. The vibe is great along with the food & drinks, I loved the shinshun which paired nicely with all of the sushi I got, the young lady serving me recommended a fantastic blue bottle of sake which my husband and I polished off with our entrees. Phenomenal service, we loved the little hot hand towel which she warned me not to eat haha. Wish I had pictures to show, but you need to do yourself a favor and try it out!

I had a 9:30 reservation and was seated promptly. They asked if I wanted bottled still, sparkling, or tap water. I requested bottled still, but they brought out tap water instead. After that, I waited about 20 minutes for a server to come to my table, but when no one did, I got up, left, and went across the street to On Swann, where I was seated promptly and served properly.

I was hesitant at first. The prices were a bit high for a quick bite (we just wanted a spot to rest and have a snack while out shopping), but OH MY GOODNESS, it was worth every penny. The Blistered Shishito Peppers were SO GOOD! I've been looking for a place that serves them for quite some time.
My serving of wine was also fantastic. I'm excited to come back in the future for a full meal! Our server was attentive and helped me choose the drink I wanted to order. The hot towels smelling of citrus were wonderful touch. This place is a must try!

Honestly, the food was way overpriced for the quality. Would I go back? Maybe, if it was cheaper. But they’re taking advantage of the location and being able to rip people off for average food and what is probably low quality fish. I didn’t even bother with the sushi because I’m a sushi nut and don’t think Ro is getting the best sushi. I just stuck with a few of their apps. I also got the duck which is way overpriced but gave it a shot. Small portions for $$$$$$ all around .. For sushi I’d go to Yoko’s or the new sushi bar “Han” in armature works!! If you’re going to Ro, just go for drinks and their dishes. If I were to go again, it would just be for their drinks and a few of their apps.

So good! We’ve done dinner, lunch, the omakase weekday lunch special, counter service. All have been 10/10.
Food is fresh, delicious, well seasoned and reasonable(some things feel a little overpriced. Like the miso lol). Their lunch specials are great tho and the whole restaurant is a vibe, especially if they have the bar open to the outside with some fresh air. They also had a DJ one day that added some ambiance.
Cocktails and mock tails are good too. Did the wagyu hot stone, a couple different rolls, omakase, salmon lunch, bento box and lots of apps. Everything has been solid.

I really don't understand why people go here. The service is awful, prices high, and the sushi falls apart because they don't know how to make sushi rice. Finally, they pad their $29 noodle dish, made with duck scraps, with cheap red cabbage. The place is all fluff and no substance. I've been eating sushi for forty years, and this may be my worst experience when you factor in price.

Great place to take your fake faced friend for an Instagram night out. Loud music can't hide that the food is mediocre at best and the bill ends up being several times what it's worth. Do yourself a favor and just get Thai food from one of Tampas relaxed Thai take out joints, your taste buds, wallet, eyes and ears will thank you. Rounded off with some smug service...don't believe that this is the best fried rice in town

Highly recommend this place for lunch. Some of the prices are a bit high comparatively but the bento is very reasonable and super high quality with good portions. Good date location, bathrooms are clean and have floss, stuff to fix your makeup. The only weird thing was they didn’t have hot tea in a Japanese fusion place, but they did have a ton of mocktails!

Visited RO on a casual girls dinner. First I was very impressed with the decor, ambiance was relaxed and very comfortable. Servers were nice and polite but at times we both felt they didn’t really have great knowledge of the menu.
Our drinks were great- I’ll give the drinks 5 stars. Shrimp prawn sushi was OK, the dumplings were decent.
Now on to the main course the perking duck was absolutely disgusting. Rubbery, overly dried, lack of flavor, full of tough and fat and not to mention cold. I was highly disappointed ☹️ I took most of it home and fed it to my dogs. The duck fried rice not good at all either.
I envision this place to have amazing food. I just knew the duck would taste like Komodo in Miami but I was sadly mistaken. I do not recommend this dish at all. Komodo serves is an amazing delicious duck full of flavor, crispy and juicy.
Other than that I would only come here for drinks and very light appetizers.

Delicious!
The spicy spider roll was on the “specials” when I went and it was my favorite. We also ordered the ceviche roll, and while it was still tasty, I preferred the spicy spider roll.
We had the crispy tofu and spicy chicken as shareables. I loved both of these dishes. The chicken has a heavy garlic flavor, which I love. The chicken is also crispy, like regular chicken wings. Only one piece came with the bone in it, the rest was boneless. The tofu dish was very lightly fried and has some sort of honey sauce at the bottom of the dish, so make sure you get that onto each piece for flavor.
At the end they provide a complimentary scoop of ice cream that seemed to come with caramel and chocolate and sprinkled shortbread crumbs. I did not have room for that ice cream in my belly, but I finished it anyway. It was so good!

I recently visited Ro Hyde Park twice in one week, drawn back by an exceptional lunch experience. The food was outstanding, with flavors that truly impressed. This led me to return for dinner a couple of days later, hoping for a repeat of the culinary delight.
During both visits, our server, who mentioned she was expecting a baby, was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable. Her service was impeccable, and she added a personal touch that made our dining experience even more enjoyable.
However, the positive experience took a turn for the worse after our dinner. Despite the delicious food and great service, both I and my dining companion fell ill with food poisoning the next day. We were sick for the entire day following our dinner, which was quite disappointing after spending $300.
While Ro Hyde Park delivered on taste and service during the meal, the aftermath unfortunately overshadowed what could have been a glowing review. I hope this was an isolated incident, as the potential for a wonderful dining experience is undoubtedly there.

My husband and I came on a trip and stopped at Ro for lunch. We were both blown away by how exquisite the food was. Armando was the best bartender we’ve ever encountered - the drinks he made were delicious, he was friendly, kind, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. He was extremely professional and made a tremendous impact us. He mentioned he he hasn’t tried a particular tequila and we wanted to show our gratitude - we ended up stopped by a few days later before our flight home to give him a bottle. Excellent customer service!

We came here for lunch yesterday and were blown by the service, atmosphere, and food.
We sat at the bar for our lunch. Our server/bartender was Armando. He made cocktails based off our likings and they were delicious. We tried their ‘Popcorn Shrimp’ and ‘King Salmon Crudo’ for appetizers. They were both delicious and so flavorful! The ‘King Salmon Crudo’ was savory and just melted in your mouth.
For our main dishes, we both ordered their ‘Bento Box’ meal which is an amazing deal. You get a miso soup and get to pick between your own protein, rice, sushi roll, and side item for your bento box. After your entree you can homemade vanilla ice cream with a coconut drizzle. So good!
Armando was one of the best bartenders and waiters we’ve met. He memorized our names and talked to us throughout the entire meal. He is very educated on the food and drink menu. He was so polite and professional.
We will definitely be back to Ro. We found a new favorite spot to eat. They also have a happy hour which I’d love to try!

Tropical club vibes boom throughout this modern sushi restaurant. We had to move from the banquet seating because the reverberations from the music can be felt in the cushions (no bueno). Fortunately we were able to move to the sushi counter. We had a really nice conversation with the head chef. Our server was excellent.
The nigiri that we enjoyed is very fresh and possibly the best fish that we have had in Tampa. The sushi rice was flavorful, however, was poorly formed as it fell to pieces on some nigiris attempts to consume. The noodles were a bit heavy on the sauce but again flavor was good. Chef specials are not to be missed! Highly recommend as the tiradito shined above all the other dishes in the restaurant.
I don't think that it is good practice for a restaurant tauting fine dining with a twist to charge $20+ for some standard rolls that are premade and stored, then garnished to order. I would expect for a restaurant attempting to run at a higher caliber, they would focus on quality and freshly rolled makis. The sushi space does look very small, so I assume they are unable to keep up with demand.

I recently visited Ro in Hyde Park, and had a lovely dining experience. Our server, Becca, was very personable and did a great job recommending dishes based on our preferences. We decided on the spicy tuna roll and the bento box, both of which were good. Becca's attentiveness made our meal even more enjoyable, and she surprised us with a complimentary mini dessert before we left, which was a nice touch. Ro is a great spot for lunch, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience in the area.

The restaurant is in a great spot but was dead for Sunday brunch. I'm not sure if it is because the overly expensive and very basic sushi, or bland fried rice. I wanted to like this place as we are always looking for an Asian food spot that serves alcohol...but $25 for your spin on an old fashioned is better suited for maybe year 3 or 4 and a steady customer base. It's a good try but I doubt you'll want to return.

We walked in on a Sunday evening, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We sat at the sushi bar, which is always a fun experience. I have food allergies, which makes dining out a challenge, but our server Juan and sushi Chef Matt Lai took amazing care of me! Not only did I not feel like a burden, but Chef Matt created a roll just for me and took extra care in every step. I definitely found my sushi spot in Tampa!!

They're a little big for their britches. You can tell they think they're hot stuff by the attitude.
Realistically the prices would have been appropriate at 1/3 of what they are. We spent about $250 for 2. It would have been an appropriate value if our bill as around $80-100.
I know they're not going to change their prices based off of my review, btw. I mostly write these so I can remember my thoughts years later.

Atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately they turned down the lights so low we couldn’t read our menu. They opened their side windows and it was so hot and humid. The whole place was sweating. Not exactly pleasant. Food had a good taste, just like a decent Chinese restaurant. We paid $39 for wagyu dumplings and they tasted average. I love cali rolls so got the Alaskan king crab one. Not sure why I thought it would be a larger more spectacular roll but it literally was the same $10 roll that you get at the mall. No different taste or size. So overall it was okay, we would not recommend or return.

This place was soooooooo good! We were a table of five and just ordered a bunch of food for all to share. Our server was excellent and made great recommendations. We also loved the complimentary ice cream at the end. A great touch. Highly recommend this place!

AUSTIN! AUSTIN ! AUSTIN! What a stellar manager. Truly accommodated my friend Lila for her birthday. Teagan was so sweet and helpful. The mushroom risotto wasn't a crowd pleaser but the other items and libations were superb. Truly enjoyed our time.

It was my first time at Ro and the staff exceeded my expectations. Our bartender Diego was so knowledgeable about drinks both on and off the menu. He was busy, but made sure to still pay plenty of attention to us. The food came out quick and we even got complimentary ice cream at the end! Great experience here, we can’t wait to come back!

My son made reservation for this place. Our waiter is very nice. Atmosphere was nice. Food - quality/quantity not worth the price-place over rated, but I guess I can understand the price being high d/t the area. Had a few sushi, sashimi, nigiri -which were decent. Had a couple of appetizers, drinks, fried rice and a side of shishito peppers. Had preordered the peking duck. This dish was the most disappointing! The duck was WAY overcooked to the point that it was a little mushy. The skin was not even crispy, skin being the best part of this dish!. This was NOT even close to the way peking duck is suppose to be prepared! At least we gave it a try. This best was the complimentary ice cream.. Don't think we will be back however.

The food was great, the service was perfect, there was a DJ that set the ambience. We had the truffle, the ro and the dragon roll. We also had the popcorn shrimp and the tuna carpaccio. I don't remember the name of the drinks but were also amazing

Had my birthday dinner at RO. We first started off with drinks at Jekyll and then walked over to RO. We let them know a few days in advance we would be doing the duck. I mean you have to right? I am happy we sprung for the Peking duck. It is not a traditional NY peking like I grew up with but worthy nonetheless. This rendition of the classic is smoked and you can taste the 5 spice in the smoke. It was just hubby and I, obviously we were not able to finish it but it made great leftover the next day. The duck came with bao buns, and some pickled veggies for topping and sauces. We also ordered the pork fried rice as a side for our duck. To start we got some cocktails which were delicious. Opted for ice-cold Sapporos with the duck. The shishito peppers were delicious, they had an interesting sweetness (in a good way). There was a piece of sushi I tried (amongst others) that had a sweet egg on top- OMG it was delicious I could have had 10! I wish I could remember our server's name, she was very knowledgeable and extremely sweet. All I remember is that she is pregnant (blessings to your future baby and you). When I arrived there were flowers on my table (transported from Jekyll) and a card from the RO team. Simply Incredible! As if it couldn't get any better they surprised us with a vanilla and chocolate cupcake topped with a lit candle to finish out our meal! If you are curious about this place do it! The duck would be a great option for 3-4 people and add the fried rice. Thank you Ivy at 3 Oaks for assisting with this reservation!

I absolutely love this place. As a person who doesn’t really like sushi unless it’s extremely fresh that’s a lot. I went there for dinner on one of their opening weeks and I still haven’t forgotten about it. One of the first things we got was the wagyu gyoza and it was really good. We also got the popcorn shrimp and it was also amazing. We also got the Hamachi carpaccio and couldn’t stop eating it. the Chutoro truffle Maki was also great.

I’m a sushi snob, lived in LA and Miami. Sadly I do not think I’ll ever find a good place out here.
Pros:
Atmosphere , server was excellent, presentation was nice , hostess was nice, bathroom was clean.
Food: the only thing I really loved was the salmon crudo( first pic) and the scallop lower right last pic.
CONS:
The price does NOT match the quality whatsoever. The ceviche roll and chutoro roll $40 PER ROLL, and sadly sub par. Some of my sashimi was poor cuts of fish.
I spent $150 +$30 tip. I felt I got robbed. I don’t mind spending money on great quality fish but I have to say this does NOT live up to the hype. I encourage this restaurant to go to Nobu, Matsuhisa, Sugar Fish, Merois, Edoboy, Sushi Nakazawa -NYC, UchiKo , and learn from the best.

Pricey, but try it anyway - High quality sushi in Hyde Park Village is not going to be cheap, so accept that otoro tuna, the rarest and best, is going to be pricey. Go to Publix for maguro if you want cheap tuna. But if you’re looking for the top end nigiri/sashimi this is the place. BTW their maki is reasonably priced and delivers quality and quantity. The music can be deafening, but the service is attentive.

I never write reviews! I made a reservation for my husband and I for our anniversary. We got there a bit early and decided to grab a drink at the bar. We had Armando as our bartender. We had great seats at the bar and he was such a pleasure to have as our server that I decided to just stay at the bar. Armando made everything amazing! Especially after we mentioned that it was our Anniversay. Thank you for making our special evening even more special. It is people like you that make experiences that people come back to experience again! Thank you 🙏

One of a kind high end Asian fusion spot with a great ambiance. Excellent food, service, well worth the price. Sushi, duck fried rice, hamachi carparcio, wagyu seared to table, Ro signature roll amazing along with the 6 other rolls we ate. Looking forward to going back soon.

First time trying Ro and had a lovely experience. Went in a Monday evening - so wasn’t too busy. Easy to make reservations. I got the wagyu gyozas and one of the rolls that has a signature symbol next to it (can’t remember the name!) but it was all delicious and would definitely go back to try other items.

Loved the atmosphere and the service.
We first started with drinks — their drink menu is very robust and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. I got the Kuusou cocktail which came with a top that release smoke when lifted. This gave the drink a nice smoky flavor in smell. Overall I thought the taste and presentations of the drinks were really nice.
For an appetizer, we got the spicy kaarage. The flavor was nice and we quickly finished it off. The main entrees, for me is where this restaurant falls a little short, if at all. We ordered the bulgolgi skirt steak, chicken katsu, shrimp tempura maki, and fried rice. The dishes were good, but my group agreed they could’ve had a bit more flavor. For dessert we were brought out a complimentary vanilla bean ice cream, topped with caramel and Oreos.
I think ro focuses on a lot of the small details that other restaurants forget and I really appreciated that. I loved their drinks but wasn’t in love with the food, but maybe we just need to try something else on the menu.

I thoroughly enjoyed having my birthday dinner here. The manager was kind enough to stop by my table to introduce himself and wish me a pleasant evening. My server Shane knew the menu and made fitting suggestions. My night was uplifted even more to receive a birthday card and mini ice cream complimentary. The modern atmosphere reminded me of my second home in Atlanta. It gave grown with a dash of artsy and comfort. I will return! ❤️
I ordered medium rare steak strip over rice. I’m not a steak freak but the steak was perfect texture and taste. Bang bang shrimp (or popcorn shrimp) was spot on tasty.

The price of the food doesn’t match the quality . You pay for the loud sound with DJ , overcrowded reception , two many staff hovering around the area with somebody who look like their manager standing by the area as well .

We loved this restaurant! We walked by when the door was open and it smelt amazing! So we made a reservation.
We arrived earlier than our reservation, but got seated quickly and easily.
Our server, Manoli, was very friendly and informative!
Our food came out pretty quick and everything tasted delicious!
The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with any extra items you may need.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. Enjoyed the light music in the background.
The cocktails were delicious too!
We even got a complimentary sweet treat at the end.
We would definitely return again.

Beautiful inside with great music and kind servers, but unbearably slow kitchen and the food is genuinely bad but covered with nice plating and menu language. So many better places to go in Hyde park. Save your time and money.

Probably my favorite place in tampa for sushi! Nigiri and Sushimi is great, just expensive. Specialty rolls are better than others in the area. The restaurant itself was very nice inside, and clean. The service was good, but didn’t appreciate the hostess telling me it would be a 15 min wait when the place was empty. 5/5 stars for best sushi in the area. It’s a shame this place wasn’t more packed. There is lots of potential.
