I had the spring rolls as a starter. The spring rolls were perfect- not too greasy. The sauce was amazing. I had the vegetable stir fry with tofu. Their tofu is absolute perfection! It was crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The service was prompt and pleasant. I really enjoyed and will definitely be back soon!

This was amazing! The wait was short. The food was delicious and tasted authentic (though I may not be the best judge of that). The sushi was great, and compared well to sushi I've had in Japan.

The waiter was very nice and friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed.

The atmosphere was had good vibes, and I appreciated the decorations.

There were also good vegetarian and gluten free options.

One thing you might want to note is that the parking can be a bit tight particularly for larger cars.

I would definitely eat here again! ✨

I love getting Uber eats from here, and the food is always amazing quality for an affordable price.

Eastern Kitchen & Sushi has some amazing price points for all the rolls and other offerings on their menu. They also have plenty of options for people with dietary restrictions as well as vegans, vegetarians, and pescatarians. The service was great, I believe Jason took care of me, he was attentive and sweet! Parking here is a little tight in the lot, so if you come during dinner be warned you might have to park in the nearby shopping plaza and walk. The space itself is cute and cozy, with lots of places to sit. I can’t wait to come back for lunch again!

This restaurant offers quite a variety of unique rolls. We ordered a Monster Lobster Roll and a Hawaiian Roll. The Hawaiian Roll blew our minds! It had fresh Strawberries and Kiwi. It tasted divine! The Tom Yum soup was extremely spicy. Shrimp Tempura was delicious. Our service was awesome. We dined here at a time when they weren't too busy. The ambiance is nice and clean and quiet. Overall, it was a great dinner and a fair value for what we ordered. I LOVE MY GORGEOUS HUSBAND 😍 💗

I work in delivery and pick up orders every day from this restaurant! And today I asked to use the toilet in this restaurant for the first time and when I arrived to pick up the food delivery! To which the worker told me that the toilet is not working because I work in delivery and cannot use their toilet! The first time in the USA I encountered such a situation and discrimination!!! People just feel sorry for the toilet, this is crazy!!! I do not recommend this restaurant at all with such an attitude towards people!!!

Absolutely 💯 one of the best Sushi I ever had and I can say Morimoto Disney Springs is my go to but this little gem 💎 is as great in quality taste and the service . The place looked nice and the service was good but the food was inedible.i for the bourbon chicken and spit it right out ...it didn't even taste like chicken. Had better bourbon chicken at the mall. the broccoli was super bland like has a steamed frozen veggie blandness with no seasoning and they just throw corn in there for who knows why. IDK who's giving this place such high reviews. I really wanted to love it. But never again.

I really liked this place! * MY REVIEW IS ABOUT THE HIBACHI* the yumyum sauce was great, they have a good selection of drinks and everything was tasty. HOWEVER I was looking at the menu and it explained adding steak was a $2 upcharge. I got the chicken and Steak Hibachi and I was surprised at a $7 upcharge for adding another protein. I’m not entirely upset about the cost but the menu is confusing and the warning about the upcharge isn’t clearly stated where the hibachi is and it says things like +2 which would lead you to believe it would only be $2 to add steak to your chicken hibachi. It’s confusing and the server apologized and in her word stated to me that the menu is confusing. Just seems kinda scammy. It made a great experience lose its shine. BUT I WILL GO BACK AND DEFINITELY NOT GET A SECOND PROTEIN BECAUSE $7 IS RIDICULOUS.

Crab Rangoon is delicious. Pot stickers were very underwhelming. General tso’s chicken tasted like it was frozen chicken that was waaaaay overcooked. I ate one piece and took the chicken out and just ate the rice and broccoli. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed here though. Maybe it was a fluke. I’ll give it another shot in the future.

I’ve seen this place a lot of times but decided to stop by occasionally. Interior is nice and clean. Wooden tables create an atmosphere.
They serve free water as a first thing. And they use a glass tumbler which is a sign of quality.
My choice was a ramen. The menu has only 2 kind of ramen and I select one of them: Tonkotsy Pork Belly. Well, I thought it’s gonna something average what you can get at any ramen place. But how surprised I was once I took my first sip. Broth was really fresh and aromatic, and without sweet sub flavor. Seasoning, salt everything was well balanced. Another nice thing I what wondered me was a ginger strips. When you got one in your spoon the flavor goes being changed big time like you are eating something else but ramen.
There are thousands words could be said, rather try it once. Summarizing I can tell that ramen flavor is well balanced, made of fresh and legit products and served in iron? preheated bowl (like Mexican fajitas)
Unfortunately that was the only item in my order that night so I can’t tell how was drink, sushi or appetizers but something makes me think it would be good too!
I definitely gonna come back and bring my friends

Ordered via Uber eats. Chicken hibachi had no seasoning or flavor to it.The chicken was literally white and looked boiled. Came with yum yum sauce container less than half full. I ordered a spicy tuna roll that came extremely warm like it had been made way earlier in the day. Tasted one piece and threw the rest out.

What an experience!! Restaurant was nice and clean. We were greeted immediately and sat to our table. The service by our waiter(Issac) was professional, quick, and caring! Appetizer and entrees came out so quick it was astonishing. The food was Soo delicious, I recommend the Naruto roll😋😁 You can tell the staff, esp Issac, take pride in what they do and it shows! Clean bathrooms as well! Job well done, I WILL BE BACK!!!!

Great quality sushi, normally I go for sushi looking for a healthier option in entrees but if you’re feeling like being fat the sushi bagels are one of the more unique things I’ve had, go to is the Mexican sushi rolls, Uber ears normally has great deals as well.

I've been to this restaurant five times, this will be my last. I placed an order over the phone and went to the takeout area. No one asked me anything when I came in, like can I help you. They looked very busy, which is understandable, so I waited. I saw three bags sitting in the back and I tried multiple times to get their attention, but they were busy. Finally, the manager asked me what the order was under, I said Kim. He looked at one bag, then asked me if it was ubereats order and I said no. Then he treated me like I was an idiot and sarcastically said usually people have an order number or something that says you order. This is what Royally PISSED ME OFF. I said again I ordered over the phone. He asked me the name again. KIM K..I...M..Then he looked at the second bag and that was the order,....with the name KIM. So, I sat there for 15 minutes while my order with my correct name was on it sitting there the whole time and this guy is treating me like I’m the idiot. LAST TIME I’M GIVING THIS GUY MY MONEY

Ordered via uber eats. It was a buy one get one free situation. Ordered the "bagel" roll. Food was absolutely disgusting. The sushi was fried in what tasted like oil that had been used for a week. Even the contents of the sushi tasted disgusting. Never be back here for anything.

Had quite the pleasant surprise of a fantastic experience here. The staff is very welcoming and kind, and our waitress was attentive and sweet. Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh and did not disappoint. We enjoyed the Japanese spring rolls with a wonderful chili sauce pairing, the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and the yam yam roll which is fried sweet potatoes with avocado, tempura flakes and eel sauce (my favorite and vegan too). We finished off with their banana bomb dessert which is tempura bananas, vanilla ice cream & butterscotch sauce ……it was delicious!! Will absolutely return again and again. Thank you for a great dinner night out!

Honestly I eat here and order from here all the time! The food is really good. But today I placed an Uber order and I have an allergy to onions and requested non in my order but to sub something else. Not only I was charged for that… but the lady I spoke with was really rude about the situation and actually hung the phone up on me. I left my order as is, as again I’m a regular but when I got my order it has not only white onions but scallions too… it almost seemed like….vindictive. I was shocked as I eat here a couple times a month… I might need to rethink my other options.

This food was absolutely disgusting. I got a crunchy spicy tuna roll which was dry and bad tasting. I got wonton soup that had watered down broth and tasted horrible. Finally I got the chicken wings which looked as unappetizing as they were. After trying all of the dishes I’m sick to my stomach.

Was so excited to order from here. Got the krab rangoon, short rib korean bbq bowl, and some sushi. First off, the krab rangoon was sooo soggy, no crisp at all. The Korean bbq short rib bowl was absolutely terrible. Zero flavor, the meat was just not cooked correctly. The broccoli, corn and rice have no sauce, no salt, no seasoning, no flavor. Literally horrible excuse for Korean bbq. The sushi I got was packaged with wasabi and it was melted into the sushi... which made it also just as terrible. Paid over $50 for this food for me to get sick to my stomach...

I do not recommend this place at all. I will note, I ordered from here only, I don't know how the service or atmosphere is.

In a small strip center. Parking is limited. Service was bad, the glass of water I asked for did not come until after my food, and with an almost empty dining room, I sat for over ten minutes waiting for the server to quit chatting in the back to ask me if I wanted my check. Also the server did not bother to tell me that my bowl was extremely hot. I ordered the ramen, it was meh. The pork belly in it was good, but the egg was overcooked and under marinated. I will not be going back.

I was a regular. Got yelled at by the owner tonight because I sent back my order which was swimming in mayo after I told the server that I can’t eat mayo and to hold it when i placed the order. He came and yelled at me after I sent it back and went on about how when they are busy (which they weren’t tonight at 8 pm) they can’t accommodate special requests. I told him I’ve ordered the dish 5 times before and it was never with mayo because I always tell them to hold the crab salad. He basically called me a liar. Also, the menu doesn’t say “spicy mayo” in the description line the other dishes. He finally did offer to remake it but I was too annoyed., paid for my wife’s dish and left.

First time stopping in for a late lunch. Food came out quick and was all delicious. I had ordered the bento box chicken katsu. Chicken was a thin cutlet which was pounded VERY THIN. Delicious crispy outside with great sauce. Everything else was as expected but all very fresh. The portion size may be argued as small but is a good variety! If you are coming with a large appetite for lunch order a tad extra. Will come back to try dinner!

My fiance and I decided to try this place out and everything was very tasty. We started with the pork belly buns and some pot stickers. The pot stickers were very crispy and the filling was tasty. The buns were super soft and the pork belly was tender. The sauce was good as well. My fiance has sushi and I had a general tsaos bowl. The chicken was very crispy and the sauce was sweet and a little spicy, I would get it spicier next time. My fiance said the sushi was good as well. We will be back again to try more things!

I had a decent meal, trying their Sushi Sampler, earlier in the week. So I decided to try them again Saturday night and the food quality was poor. How do you screw up Pad Thai? There were no other ingredients than the noodles and shrimp that was obviously not fresh and overcooked to taste like shoe leather. No manager available to speak with or following day. Better Sushi down the street at EBI and much better noodle dishes down the street at Thai Am. A new neighborhood restaurant should be focused on food quality and service.

Even better than I imagined!!! Service was spot on, efficient, thoughtful, and knowledge based. Food was impressive! We enjoyed three appetizers and shared a sushi combo and pad thai. I only got a pic of the takoyaki which came out first. I was totally engaged in the meal from that point on and didn't stop to take pictures!!! Takoyaki's were excellent!!!! We will definitely return!

Absolutely worth every penny and the price is right!
I’ve very picky about my sushi (raw or cooked) every aspect of the roll and bite has to be flavorful. I think the weed is helping me type this a little bit but I have been to a lot of sushi places in the Tampa /St Pete area and this place is VERY GOOD! While we came her on a Tuesday, a slower night. The sushi is very good quality, fresh and at a great price. The ramen was large and had lots of toppings, with a flavorful broth. Will return to try more

This place is a must go to for quick fresh asian food. I wasn't sure what to expect after Capital Taco's closed but this place surprised me. They have happy hour every day from 3-5. $3 select appetizers $5 select sushi rolls and 2 for 1 saki and beer. For aps we got the pot stickers (they were so good we got a second order and for $3 why not?!) and the pork belly buns (the sauce in it was delicious!) My fiance got the general tso chicken and he loved it. The flavor was spicy and sweet but not overpowering and the portion was pretty big. I ordered the Tampa roll and the JB roll. They were good and the sushi was fresh however next time I think I'll see what their specialty rolls are all about.

Tried for the first time. Place was very clean, all the staff was wearing masks properly and were very welcoming and helpful. I only ordered wonton soup this time but it was great. Broth was rich and delicious, wonton were perfectly cooked, flavorful and plenty of them. Will definitely go back soon to try more!

Delicious! I got the garlic soy with tofu and noodles and it’s VERY good. You get a huge portion which it’s hard to tell by the pic but it’s a very deep bowl. I’ll probably have 2 meals out of this. They didn’t skimp on the protein either - I got a TON of tofu. Blessings. I also got the miso soup which was yummy and warmed me up on a cold day. I will definitely be back!

We just got food here for the first time. These are the worse bao buns we've ever had. This is not pork belly, its a piece of bland pork tendeloin with iceberg lettuce. Who puts iceberg lettuce on a bao bun??? The sushi is not great either. Got the spicy tuna roll and it tastes very fishy (not in a good way). The dragon roll has very little actual fish and is not very flavorful. The dragon roll had brown avocado on it as well. They got two stars because they included all of the utensils,the general tso chicken was decent, and they were quick.

It is open kitchen so surprise to me, reasonable price. They have a lot choice, you can get sushi, Bento box , miso soup ,sushi roll , Pad Thai , Korean BBQ etc.
we order miso soup , salmon sushi , yellowtail sushi, Mongolian beef, shrimp Pad Thai , Tempura shrimp .
The food is very fresh , Especially shrimp Pad Thai , mild sour yummy flavor. The servers is good , place is clean , very enjoy here.

We are stoked that this moved into the area after Capital Tacos closed. We just tried tonight some sushi, Pad Thai, and hibachi. When our order was ready, someone gave us a courtesy call. Upon walking into the nice building to grab our food, the adorably, sweet customer service worker was helpful and efficient. Food was delectable. We will definitely be back.

I've been living in St. Petersburg for only a couple weeks, and so far this restaurant is my favorite. The food is delicious and fresh, and they handle simple substitutions (I have an allergy to avocado) very well! Prices are good for the quality and portions you get. I wish I could eat here every day!

Amazing experience, tried 2 sushi rolls and the hibachi bowl would reorder again and again. Peter was so courteous and delivered exceptional customer service. Will definitely be back to try more of the expansive menu. Impressed with this new spot, looking forward to my next visit.

This place is amazing! We started with the octopus balls and OMG they are delicious! They do it in a shredded tamago with Bonita flakes on top and a delicious sauce. Presentation was amazing and the flavor is indescribable. I also love the way they do their bao buns. More of a deconstructed version which to me makes it more flavorful. The Bento boxes we got were also a hit. So much food in the box. Even the rice was done well. If you like Asian food, and you’re looking for an authentic fusion feel, this is the new clean plate club location! By all means come check it out. They are new so it’s easy to get in right now but that won’t last long!

Love, love, love the food. I have been to Eastern Kitchen a number of times and the food never disappoints. The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are huge and the staff is friendly and professional. Love the Garlic Soy, already a favorite. The Cauliflower Fried Rice is another favorite along with so many other delicious entrees they offer.

Decided to try this new Sushi and Eastern Kitchen on a Saturday night in place of one of our normal sushi joints in St. Pete. We were not disappointed in the least, the food and service were excellent. For starters we had the ahi tuna tataki, which was ahi tuna with some shredded carrot and radish, seaweed, and spicy pickled carrot and daikon in a soy like sauce, very good. For our rolls we had the Rockstar and White Beach, both were excellent and the quality of the fish was good. The White Beach had a great meaty yet refreshing flavor with the lemon slice on top. The Rockstar was very tasty and would have been comparable to other tempura cream cheese style rolls were it not for the Tangy Mango Sauce to set it apart. We got a Mexican roll to go, which was great for a late night snack. Please don't hesitate to try this restaurant, the food was excellent and the service very good. They have just opened and do not seem to have the beer and wine license yet but don't let it stop you from enjoying this spot.

The restaurant looks pretty nice and comfortable. However the food was okay for what it was. Ordered the pork belly ramen and the noodles were overcooked and soft but meats were fine. The sushi is okay, did not have much flavor to it and did not taste like soft shelled crab. Forgot our eel sauce as well. Overall, the food was okay at best, isn't something memorable or somewhere I would visit again personally. The items are priced at a relative decent price for the type of food served. I hope they improve the quality of the food that comes out of the kitchen.

Yet to try the sushi, but the bowls and appetizers are good. The deco and service are excellent. The exhaust, not so much. The food overall is good, but the ramen egg is a shortcut, not marinated. The braised pork is on the dry side, but still flavor is good.

Came for dinner at 8:30 on a Friday. The place was not busy and the service was friendly and fast. The beef bao buns as an appetizer which were delicious and for our meal i had a chicken pad Thai and my wife had a couple of sushi rolls. I ordered the pad that a little more spicy than usual and it was perfect. it doesn't photograph well but it was good enough to order again when I come back next time. My wife's sushi rolls were also very good.

I found this place by accident and was hoping it'd be a good, nearby sushi place. The food is mediocre at best. I've tried this place twice this week. The first time I ordered 3 sushi rolls: dragon roll, mexican roll, and spider roll. They were all the same size (except the spider roll was a bit bigger/less pieces) and actually all tasted nearly the same...sauced, mush of avocados, and no substance to them. The rice quality was low as well. Overall, they were good, but nothing memorable.

The second time, I wanted to try out some non-sushi dishes. We ordered the chicken katsu bowl, tuna poke bowl, takoyaki, and rockstar roll. It left us feeling a lot more to be desired. The chicken katsu bowl lacked flavor, the tuna poke bowl tasted as if they poured lemon/lime juice throughout the entire bowl (it was sour), the takoyaki's flavor was all over the place between salty and sweet depending on which bite you're taking, and the rockstar roll was alright...If you're looking for a sushi place to eat that's nearby and quick, then go here. Otherwise, look elsewhere because the quality is not here.

I can’t believe this place has such good reviews. The sushi is fine.. the rolls are tiny with not a lot of fish and most of them are drenched in sauce and have a ton of cream cheese which is usually trying to hide not fresh fish. The potstickers are just bad- barely any filling and the wrapper is oily and chewy and tastes stale. I took one bite of the Pad Thai and threw it out. Not traditional noodles, sauce was watery and sour, literally didn’t even taste like Pad Thai. Super disappointing- I wish I could get my money back.
