The food was OK. The Penang curry was delicious. The other dishes were just OK. The dim sum felt like it was frozen and reheated. The staff were wonderful and accommodating for our loud 7mo old.

Delicious location for Thai food in West Palm. Jonathon was our waiter. Had amazing recommendations We had tuna tatare taro chips.
We also had the duck soup and the pan curry everything was delicious, especially the service
Great spot to check out plenty of seating. Great for a large group. They have both Thai and Japanese menu. I’ve had their sushi as well. It’s delicious and fresh! super high-quality.

Everything was delicious! From the Miso soup 🍜 to the Banana Tempura ice cream 🍨. We enjoyed everything! The food was fresh, it had all kinds of flavors and the drinks were so good we had to make ourselves actively stop drinking them. The servers were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive and the place was clean from the tables to the restrooms. We enjoyed it and we hope you #enjoy it too! Sooo large selection of Thai and Japanese dishes!
Good service, everything was brought very quickly.
The waiter kindly answered all the questions.
My youngest child doesn't eat Thai or Japanese food yet. Here they kindly brought him just boiled rice and beef, without spices and sauces!

The food is delicious, fresh. Definitely we will come here again!

This is a lovely cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere was laid back tending towards your vision of an Americanized sushi restaurant and bar. But don’t be fooled, you selection will NOT be limited there are a ton of choices on their not one but two menu. One Thai menu and one Japanese menu. I think most people will be able to find something that they enjoy.

Extraordinarily unprofessional staff. Hannah or Hana? Gave me the absolute worst and insulting experience I’ve ever had. I had a pick up order and showed her my phone 2 times to confirm.

She handed me the food and asked to see it a 3rd time. I had asked earlier when I arrived for extra chopsticks and when she handed me the food I asked if she put them in and she said she did not and that she had to see my phone again before handing me the bag. She then proceeded to tug the bag away from me lol.

I told her “ I showed you my phone 2 times already what are you doing? Can I have the chop sticks please?” She replied that she needed to verify before getting me the chopsticks because her manager told her to again. I placed the bag down and asked her to get me the chopsticks. She takes the bag and then marches back to get the chopsticks lol. I show her my phone for the 3rd time and then ask her to speak to her manager.

Her manager glosses over everything I said about showing her the phone numerous times to confirm and gives a generic response “yeah we just have to confirm”. I repeated I confirmed 3 times now, and at what point does it become harassment?

I let her know this was the most unprofessional and insulting experience ever and would be sharing it with others. This was 01/04/2025 at 6:45 pm. And btw, my order was supposed to be ready by 6:35 and I waited an additional 20 minutes inside (6:55pm I left). Worst staff ever. I have an easier time getting thru customs with less hassle than picking up an order here.

Hannah was very hostile and treated me like a thief when all I wanted to do was pick up the food and get extra chopsticks lol.

on Christmas Eve when everyone else shut the door at 7. They had fantastic food and service. Whoever complains about moon Thai. Don't know how to go out for dinner. Stay home and eat TV dinners.

My wife and I and our friends love Thai Food. We have been to a lot of very good ones but this place is the very best of all by a lot. Great, outstanding service, great ambiance and the food is to die for. Pad Thai is great, Mee Krob is incredible, Lamb is fabulous, Coconut soup awesome etc.. Every time we go there we here others being asked how is your meal and we always here it is fantastic and it is. This is 100% our go to Thai restaurant and I have been to all the others in Palm Beach.

Let’s start by saying that the waitress had absolutely no hospitality and no expression. It was actually concerning and questionable how she got hired in the first place. She was Hispanic and had long hair. She also apparently doesn’t know how to follow directions either when taking orders. I am pregnant and we strictly said no lettuce or cucumbers and the sushi came out with both. After we brought it up to the hostess and we mentioned we will not be returning as what was provided puts me and my unborn child at risk, she proceeded to mention to go to Palm beach gardens. Sorry, but we’re good. The food is subpar and has been declining. Our sushi was low quality and didn’t taste like it usually does. The manager said he would provide a “refund” but his definition of refund is still charging you. Our bill was like $48 and still gave a good tip, but he left us with a $18 bill 😅 apparently we were speaking different languages. I see why he did that, he gets no business. Everytime we’re there no one is there. Like my partner said, the waitress is probably miserable because no one’s coming in, but at the same time, do your best when people come for the sake of a good tip. The experience was like a clown show honestly. I haven’t been feeling good since eating there and they better pray I don’t have issues with my pregnancy and my child. The funny part is that the waitress wanted to fight and go back and forth with me and I shut it down. It’s unacceptable. Lack of professionalism at its finest to argue with a customer about a wrongdoing. It’s also quite embarrassing for the establishment. It’s like I was negotiating with these people. 🤣

I decided to give this place another try, but I won’t be back. The service is terrible. The server wasn’t bad but the manager sucks. I ended up telling them not to worry about my order because everyone was already done eating and I still didn’t get my food. People who ordered after got their food. No one even apologized or did anything to try to fix the issue. Their food is usually good, but because of the terrible management, I won’t be back.

Moon Thai is a cute restaurant tucked away in a nice shopping Plaza with lots of shopping and food. The ambiance is pretty inside, and the food is plated so nicely. Pricing is a bit high for Thai, but you get some delicious dishes and the experience is nicer than most. Thanks for a lovely dinner out.

VERY disappointed!! Moon Thai used to be my favorite local Thai place. Not anymore after last night’s experience. For starters: the spring rolls were still frozen in the middle when served. They were stuffed with cabbage only and had no flavor. The sauce that came with it was not authentic Thai. We had to send them back. They were not brought back out until we asked the servers several times. The Tom Kha soup was not creamy and flavorful. It seemed that water was added to it which ruined the full coconut milk experience of the soup. It was not real hot either. We ordered 3 main entrees to follow. The stir fried vegetable dish was the worst one. It was mostly frozen vegetables with some tofu. I love stir fried tofu, but how they made it had no flavor and did not seem ithe tofu was stir fried. They used to make this with fresh vegetables & it was always a beautiful presentation. Not tonight. Second dish was the Chicken with Cashew Nuts. There were no cashew nuts. I had to ask the waitress to correct this. Apparently, the chef forgot to add them. It took some time to “fix” while the other dishes cooled off. The Pad Thai was probably the best dish of all. The crushed peanuts that usually come with the Pad Thai were missing. Some of the vegetables on it were frozen, not fresh. I didn’t bother to ask to correct this as it seemed that we were waiting so long for them to adjust the other dishes. It’s a shame that Moon Thai doesn’t have the same excellent food quality that it used to have.

I no longer will return , I asked for a fried fish no sauce , and every thing on the size! It came out the total opposite, so i had no other option than returning the dish back and 5 minutes later I get a 5 to 6 inch whole fried fish full of oil, like they got mad and in return I got a funny looking plate! I immediately called the manager I explained what happened ! He took off the fish but not my husband sushi that was still intact in The plate ! No apologies and we left without food and paying $70 ! Obviously we will not recommend ! BE AWARE

I had two hand two hand rolls, two beers and 6 pieces of sushi the bill was $71.00 absolutely overpriced it will never eat there again. There are so many better sushi places in the area, much better priced I’ve eaten that peppermint Thai and kabuki as well as sushi king and my wife both left very full. It would cost for one person at Moon Thai Was the same price for my wife and I anywhere else don’t know how that place stays in business,

We stopped by this place spontaneously after the gym and holy moly it was so delicious!!! We started with two rolls - JB roll and the Magic Moon(GET THIS ONE!!). Then I got the pad Thai and my husband got the fried rice! We both loved our meals and honestly the pad Thai was the best I’ve had in a while. And the portion sizes are HUGE! The service was also phenomenal, our server’s name was Jessica and she was so amazing and had great recommendations. Overall a 20/10 experience and we will be back!

The food is good in this location but what is getting bad is the service. We came to diner and the waitress attending us drop on top of me a glass of water. An accident. No a bad faith or intentional but the problems start when she did not just drop to me some small in bad shapes towels but let sitting there the water in the chair and the floor without cleaning. Then ignore us. She could be in stress but it was rude to ignore the accident at all.
Just two waitress there to full fit the complete orders.

If I could give a negative 10 I would. Ordered takeout food for my wife's birthday on a Tuesday night. Called in order at 5 pm when they opened. Ordered chicken but Pad Thai, chicken basil, and shrimp panang curry along with a mee krob appetizer. Bill was $84. Picked up the order and was asked to verify the correct items ordered on the receipt which we did. Got home and not only were the containers barely filled with any food but the shrimp panang curry was chicken. My wife is vegetarian and doesn't eat chicken. Call back and for 10 minutes I get a message that goes to voicemail and says that the mailbox is full. Decide I'll just take it back in person. Which is now another 20-minute drive to and from the restaurant. On the way I called again and finally, someone answered the phone. I told them the issue and was put on hold. After a few minutes, she says that she confirmed with the kitchen they made chicken, not shrimp. She said that I could have a credit for next long to which I explained that my wife wouldn't eat it and I was returning for the correct meal. About 5 minutes later the phone rang again and it was the same young lady again who said "Could you please bring back the chicken panang curry" to which I said sure as it was already in the car with me. Get back to the restaurant and immediately the same young lady from behind the counter when you walk in tells me that the shrimp will be done in a minute. She takes the chicken panang curry from my hands and walks it back into the kitchen!!! I asked to speak to the manager and she advised me that she was the manager. I ask to speak to the older gentleman who is normally there and she says he's away for two days and she's the manager. I explain to her that it takes incredible audacity to call someone to ask them to bring back a dish and she tells me that it's what they do because there's nothing wrong with that dish. I ask to speak with the owner and am told no I can't have his telephone number. It's not hard for me to find the owner Somkid Punma or his phone number so not sure why she's being so foolish. I wanted to ask him why they are reserving food that is being returned which is against FDH regulations. I would highly recommend you find another Thai restaurant to eat at unless you want to take your chances.

First time here ! Everything tasted delicious! We started with the Japanese menu and got the JJJ ROLL & the sloppy j roll. Fish was super fresh. We then switched to the Thai menu and ordered yellow curry and pad Thai. The flavors were amazing & just the right amount of spiciness . Lastly Jessica was our server! We always have a lovely dinner experience at Moon Thai in Royal Palm Beach. They have the BEST Thai food & fresh sushi out of everywhere else in West Palm Beach! The atmosphere is always super cozy & chill as well! You must go! 10/10 You will not be disappointed!

The cups they serve your drinks in are the best, like bro where do i buy those. Diet coke has never tasted so spicy i almost skipped the meal and just drank my drink.THE MISO SOUP WOW best soup ever I WISH they served it in those cups, i would sell my soul for it and my sisters if i had to. Me and my girlfriend have been coming here for almost 3 years now, occasional date nights, most of them we have had the pleasure of being served by a nice young lady by the name of Abby, service is exceptional every time. Food is amazing everything always fresh and delicious! For non raw sushi lovers I’d highly recommend the Miami Hurricane roll from this picture but overall food and service 10/10

On our recent trip to Florida we went to Moon Thai and we were treated to a brilliant meal. Our first visit but on our return we will definitely visit again. The food was really great and we had really good service. Thoroughly recommend.

Worst dumplings I’ve tried. I really love moon down in Coral Springs and always have a really good experience there but the one up palm beach got me very disappointed. The dumplings were raw and the veggies inside tasted bad. Told that to the waiter and she took them back for extra minute brought them back and literally said “here your warmed up dumplings” they were stuck to the paper they were laying on. Very upset. Unagi sauce was a little burnt. Other than that sushi were really good and Tom yum was okay.

had Tom kha Kai soup could have had more chicken but the flavor was the best I've had ate the chicken panang and it too was awesome overall a solid 4.5 will be back

Tom Kha is one of my favorite soups. I always go back and forth about which soup I will enjoy more Tom Yum or Tom Kha it’s literally the hardest decision I have to make whenever I’m eating Thai food. After tasting the Tom Kha I will never have that internal battle at this location. I hope the Tom Yum is up to my standards. No complaints about the other items purchased so I will be going back to give them another try. Nine times out of ten the soup and mango sticky rice is the reason for me to eat Thai food. They don’t have mango sticky rice

The reason I gave it 2 stars is for being open late when most other restaurants are closed otherwiseit would have received one star. I purchased 3 rolls, Spider, Mexican and Spicy Tuna and they were the worst rolls I've ever eaten. I normally order Spider and spicy tuna from other places and enjoy them but this was poorly made sushi. Maybe they have better thai food than sushi. I would be willing to try their thai but will never get sushi again.

I've been to Jack's other locations and this was my first time at the Palm Beach Gardens restaurant. Great ambiance, amazing service at the bar from Jefferson and delicious food as always. Moon has been my favorite place for Thai and Japanese for over 18 years.

It’s dinner after a very good workout. I normally don’t eat steak but I had steak, rice, miso soup to go—steak was a bit fatty but I was hungry- I ate and I enjoyed it. He had Tom yum soup and shared a shrimp with me on a bet he won and he loved it, both; drank Meiomi and I had Mai Tai which was absolutely delicious.

Fresh and superb sashimi/sushi. Dumplings are so fluffy and flavorful. Noodles are perfectly cooked. Definitely wish I could visit more often.

Moon Thai is my favorite place to get a Lychee Martini, and if you are lucky enough to go during happy hour you get to save.

The food portions are very generous and definitely worth every penny. The best part is they have different menus to choose from if you're unsure of what you're craving. I recommend Chicken Fried Rice or any of the many fresh Sushi Rolls they offer.
It is the perfect spot for a table for 1, or 10, they are always accommodating.

Everything was delicious! From the Miso soup 🍜 to the Banana Tempura ice cream 🍨. We enjoyed everything! The food was fresh, it had all kinds of flavors and the drinks were so good we had to make ourselves actively stop drinking them. The servers were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive and the place was clean from the tables to the restrooms. We enjoyed it and we hope you #enjoy it too! Had a spontaneous night time craving for dim sum which was thoroughly satiated at Moon Thai & Japanese. From the dim sum menu, we ordered the har gow shrimp, the stuffed shrimp eggplant, the baked BBQ pork buns, and the pan fried pork dumplings. The pork buns were too sweet and chewy for my liking, however, the stuffed shrimp eggplant dim sum was so delicious, we had to order seconds. Paired with warm sake and the lovely service, we had a great time. The highlight of our meal, however, was the sweet custard dim sum (see video attached), it was pure euphoria. Surprisingly, all this food was enough for the three of us to share and finish. If you’re in the area, I would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant!

Had some really delicious sushi and apps here. Would definitely return to try some of the Thai dishes as those looked fantastic. I thought the prices were really fair for what you are getting. My waitress thought the Phuckett Tea (basically a long island) was pronounced ... well very differently than i did and it was hilarious.

Husband and I dined in as first time customers. The food was amazing! Absolutely no complaints there However, the service definitely made us question whether we wanted to return. Our waiter, (whom I do not know her name because she never introduced herself) so forgive me- She did not speak a word very unusual experience to say the least. Did not come to check on us after bringing the food, didn’t say much of anything. Had us worried if she was having a terrible day and thought to ask if she was okay. But after observing her while eating it was clear she just did not like her job. Dinner was unfortunately a bit tarnished due to her lack of hospitality! Honestly made us seem like a bother to her, when we were just hungry and trying a new restaurant. It was so awkward I mentioned it to the host on our way out hoping the message would be relayed.

I sat at the sushi bar and was immediately served with a complimentary delicate sashimi tuna on a flat crisp taco. It was heavenly.
I ordered a cucumber tuna roll and it was delightful. The staff is super friendly and the sushi chefs extremely pleasant. To finish off my small meal I ordered some Thai donuts to go. I sampled one before heading out the door.... Crisp, warm and just screaming eat me! Lol Come here for your next sushi experience you will not be disappointed

Hubby and I found this RPB location by accident looking for sushi in our area and we are so glad we did! The place is lovely, clean and calm. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is phenomenal! We've been twice in the two weeks since we found it and have been very happy each time. The food is fresh and flavorful, nice portions and beautiful plating! The Pad Thai is excellent and the sushi is amazing. Every appetizer we have tried was delicious. Prices can add up but the food and service is more than worth it! They also do lunch specials during the week. Definitely recommend this place, whether you're looking for sushi, Thai or Japanese cuisine.

Ordered takeout for $70. I did not think the food was that great, most of it went in the garbage. Ordered vegetable fried rice which unusually had one random piece of tomato in it. Seemed like they just threw in whatever veggies they had laying around. Won’t come back here.

❤First time customer here. Service and food were both excellent. They have a Thai menu, Japanese menu, and a Dim Sum menu so there is plenty to choose from. Kept it simple and ordered the Garlic Chicken. Waitress said it was a big portion so I didn't order anything else. Beautiful presentation and the chicken was one of the best Thai entrees I've ever had. Cooked perfectly, tender, with a light coating and a little crunch. Flavor was delicious. I added extra spices which the waitress brought over as I like it spicy. I ended up eating most of it. My dish was pricey because I was there for lunch on the weekend and the lunch menu is only good during the week. Will bring my family next time. Highly recommended 👌.

The food is good and decent portion sizes, however it's a little pricey for the level of service we received. The gentleman who waited on us was pleasant, but could stand to be better trained; my salad came with my meal (instead of as an appetizer), we weren't offered chopsticks with our sushi, we weren't checked on once our food was delivered, and we weren't given a pen with the check, which meant that I had to patiently wait to be noticed to get one so we could leave. My thought is, if you're going to charge $14-20 per roll for basic sushi (spicy tuna and yellowtail) that the service better be impeccable; that one is on the management (who seemed absent). This place definitely has potential, but could stand to have better oversight from a competent manager who understands the little things that make pricey restaurants worth it. I'd love to see more veggie/vegan options as well, i.e. veggie dishes without fish sauces and fresh veggie spring rolls with peanut sauce.

Nice size restaurants are not too big, so it's still cozy but not cramped. Double separate menu Thai and Japanize give multiple options for different taste diners.
I love meat, so for me, it's Thai, my wife got Japanise sushi, and her mother enjoyed the awesome chicken dumping, and those dumplings by them self can be the main reason to visit this place.

I have eaten here for years and their food is delicious, but recently it has tasted a little different. I should clarify it was only ONE time. I had asked if they changed their cooks out of curiosity, and they stated it's the same. The only thing I could really “complain” about would be their prices, even before the pandemic were pretty pricey. Nonetheless, it's still very good. They make their small mistakes just like any other restaurant, but I know it's a lot of people's favorite spot. I always recommend this restaurant to friends who are unfamiliar with the area. One of my favorites
