Seito Sushi Sand Lake offers traditional sushi and Japanese offerings along with creative and modern twists to favorites. Come enjoy a hand crafted cocktail from our fully stocked bar including an extensive Japanese whisky selection, premium cold sakes, and a curated wine list. We offer happy hour during the week which feature food and drink specials.
Wow. Already looking forward to returning to Seito Sushi. This restaurant more than exceeded my expectations.
For starters, the restaurant in itself is beautiful. It has a very soothing and peaceful atmosphere with chic decor that make the ambiance perfect for dinning. We sat right in the middle, in probably the most comfortable mini sofa chairs I’ve ever sat in at a restaurant.
Our server was attentive and incredibly kind. She suggested we try the fixed price menu, which is perfect for two, and we are so grateful for the recommendation. It came with bubbly, an appetizer, entree, sushi and dessert! The price also 100% was worth the serving. I will say that we also ordered the wings apart from the fixed menu and I highly recommend! So delicious!
Seito is perfect for a romantic dinner, dinning with friends or even a family outing. Excellent time with excellent service.

Some negatives first. It’s an absolute nightmare to maneuver around Sand Lake-Turkey Lake intersection to arrive at this restaurant. The traffic in the intersection is probably the worst in the entire Orlando area. Also, if you accidentally drove through the red light, then be prepared to receive a big fine from the Orange County.
But once you arrive at the parking lot, then be ready to enjoy one of best sushi in the area, coupled with superb services and upscale dining vibes. All nigiri and sushi rolls are superbly prepped to offer optimum flavors. Drink menus are extensive, happy hour menu options are beyond competitive and even the ramen is extraordinary, if they still offer this entree.
It won’t be inexpensive, but you will probably leave the restaurant very satisfied.

This was our first time visiting this modern and upscale sushi spot, and we’d have to say it was really good!! Service was also on point!!
Walking in, we were immediately greeted by the very nice hostess and brought over to our table. The interior of the restaurant was decorated very nice, the lighting was perfect not too dark and very inviting. The menu had great choice of items and not overwhelming. We had two servers taking care of us, Dream took our order and she was very friendly and efficient and then Cory came and took care of us after and he was also very friendly.
We ordered Edamame (perfectly cooked), Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice (perfect crispy rice, great flavor), Yellowtail Crudo (it’s got truffle ponzu, overall the dish is a little sweet for our taste but still great), Hokkaido Roll (this one’s got crab, and lobster and Hokkaido scallop on top, great balance of flavor), Bench Press (Oshizushi style pressed roll with torched Salmon on top (this one was also good but rice was a little cold), California for my daughter and Chicken teriyaki (they used chicken thighs, not overly saucy perfect savory and spice and chicken was so juicy!!)
Over all we give this Sushi Spot 9.8/10
We will be back!!

Seito Sushi is solid — good, consistent sushi, but not the kind that really blows you away. Honestly, the pork belly bao and ube cheesecake steal the show each time. We celebrated a birthday there once, and they were great about adding a candle and making it feel just the right amount of special. The ambiance is decent, but the lighting’s a bit too bright, and some people showed up looking like they just came from a day at the parks, which doesn’t exactly scream date-night vibes. That said, we like it and have gone back, but it’s not our go-to spot for sushi, nor our top recommendation. Still, it’s way better than some of the influencer-hyped places that don’t live up to the buzz.

Immaculate is the only word that could describe my experience at Seito Sushi. I can’t believe that I’m from Orlando and I’m just now visiting. As soon as you walk in you’re dazzled by the beautiful decor and dim lighting. The place is spacious, even once the dinner rush came in. Our waiter was so great. He gave great recommendations like the lobster dumplings. TOP. TIER. YOU MUST TRY THEM. They are exquisite. Chef’s kiss. Everything we ordered was amazing. The sushi was fresh and delicious. My favorite was the Bench Press (another recommendation by our waiter). The bowl with steak with noodles was phenomenal— not your ordinary noodle bowl. The charred tomato slices made it even better. I literally can’t wait to go back!!! A must try if you’re visiting Orlando!

My best friend and I came here after work Sunday, January 12, at 8:30pm , table 70 check #108.
We both have dietary restrictions and KYLE M. took perfect care of us, he was very knowledgeable, thoroughly explained our options, gave us excellent drink recommendations. He made sure we were well taken care of, made us feel very comfortable, welcome and made it an overwhelmingly enjoyable experience.
We also witnessed how attentive he was to our neighboring table and made the solo diner feel very much accompanied.
We look forward to coming back and requesting KYLE M. For our future reservations.

***Update***
I reached out to the email provided from the manager’s response and never heard back from him. Whomp whomp whomp.
———————————————————————-
It’s been awhile since my husband and I have been to Seito Sushi and it exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was phenomenal. We were seated in the back room where there is a gorgeous cherry blossom tree with an intimate seating area. Our server was very attentive and made sure our waters were always refilled in a timely manner. The pork belly bao was amazing. It was one of the top best foods I’ve ever had. I highly recommend. The sushi was fresh and delicious. I will say I think they should have regular sushi options on the menu as well. I had to ask if I could get a Philly roll and Rainbow roll even though it wasn’t listed. I’m glad I asked because I would have been stuck with some unusual interesting options that they have for their signature rolls. Our food was out very quickly and we were in and out within a hour.
I however do not appreciate the dishonesty in the drink menu and how I was charged extra for their mistake. I got the Sweet Dreams and I know for 100% it said $14 on my menu. I’m the type of person who ALWAYS looks at pricing to determine what I’m getting. It also said it on the drink menu that they give you additionally at the table. I informed the server of the incorrect pricing and she conveniently brings back an updated version of it being $15. She claims they can’t change the pricing in the official drink menu. My husband wasn’t feeling too well so I didn’t feel like arguing. As we are waiting for our Lyft my husband looks up on the website and what do you know it shows $14. I believe the server or whomever has control of making decisions should have honored that price. I got two drinks so that’s $2 extra I was charged. I know it’s not a huge difference but don’t advertise in multiple spots a price and say basically too bad so sad. The server should have made it right and even though the food was bomb that rubbed me the wrong way and I won’t be coming back any time soon which is a shame because the food and atmosphere was top notch.
I would have given 5 stars but the drink pricing fiasco dropped it down to 4. I’d said 3 1/2 but Google doesn’t allow half stars.

Desiree: Oh man, where to start?? First of all, take your dates here! There’s beautiful flowers on the ceilings! The service is amazing, Naomi was such a fantastic server! She was busy, but she took the time to make our dinner more personable, memorable, and magical! The drinks are soooo freaking good! I’m making this review after a few and woooo boi I still feel it! Until next time ~ Luv Desiree
Kevin: The Hanami Lounge is a beautiful, romantic, and warm room to relax and have a good time! The best establishment I have ever been to! The food is delicious and the drinks were strong! The Miso soup, fried rice, pork belly bao buns, What’s the Tea?, The French Evolution, Gaijin, and Warrior’s Old Fashioned were among our favorites! Our server, Naomi, took the time to make our experience more magical, memorable, and personable! She is so friendly and a great person to be around! - Kevin

It was a lovely date night in their beautiful cherry blossom back room (their main room is also really nice). We have been coming here for many years, have seen all the remodels, and it’s the best it’s ever been. Food is amazing, our favs are: apps - spicy tuna crispy rice & yellowtail crudo / rolls - ultimate spicy tuna & yellow fever / dessert - banana split. Service was nicely paced by our server Corey. Cocktails were good. It was all wonderful.

My second time to Seito and my hubbys first. We sat in the bar section at a table and Jeremy took the BEST care of us! We asked him for suggestions and he gave us 3 that were on point! His descriptions of everything were spot on and recommended a couple of cocktails after he asked a few questions about my likes and dislikes. We had a 10 out of 10 experience. He had a great personality and was fun. His team support was great too - we were checked in by other on his section. My husband said he’s only coming here from now on!

Luis is so kind, friendly, and easy to talk to, which makes us feel right at home every time we visit Seito Sushi. He has a way of making sure everything’s perfect without us even having to ask, and he always goes above and beyond. It’s not often you find someone who can make such a difference in your experience, but Luis does it effortlessly. If you’re coming here with a plus 1, I’d suggest sitting by the bar and asking for him!

Terrible experience. I've been a customer here for a solid 15 years. It's always been my top favorite in Orlando. Today I tried placing an order over the phone and was told by a manager I was lying. My order would have totaled over $200 and they simply said no to business. Tonight I was ordering for a birthday dinner at my house. I have paid for orders over the phone in past years, and apparently now it is against policy. I understand if a policy changed, but don't tell a customer "I've been a manager here for years and paying over the phone has never been allowed, you're lying". I hope ownership sees this, check the schedule and see the manager working on 12/03/24 at 6:00pm. Will no longer give any business to Seito Sandlake, nor will I recommend it to anyone!

Hands down one of my favourite spots in Orlando Yesterday (Saturday) was perhaps my 10th or more visit to eat and drink and marvel. They have consistent favourites on the menu that I always enjoy (Pork belly bao buns, crispy rice tuna, gyoza) but each visit they have about 4 or 5 new or seasonal items on the menu to mix it up and keep me craving more. Most recently for autumn the Pumpkin Tempura was out of this world good. But it was already off the menu so yesterday we feasted on two rounds of lobster ravioli (it was that good) and strip steak yakisoba. The noodles were buttery and mushroomy and the steak tender and flavourful. Menu items balance flavour of the dish and then a knockout sauce to add a new dimension and balance (sweet/salty or spicy/umami or any other combo).
Seito is a culinary gem. Staff are always helpful and cheerful. So we have superb food and friendly service. The best Orlando has to offer. Perfect for locals and families. Mine goes often and it is top of list when we have guests from out of town.

Tell me how……I figured, long day at work, the Yuzu Margarita would hit the spot with (oh wait put a pin on that sentence). I need to hit up Whole Foods, haven’t had dinner. What comes to mind, the Seito Sushi Sand Lake’s fabulous fantastic superb mesmerizing breathtaking Wagyu burger (only served at the bar) comes to mind. BUT…..as I ask the waiter you know what I’m here for. He breaks my heart. Seito Sushi yada yada has decided to take it off the menu.
It’s crazy, 3 months ago I came in here and was blown away. The following two times I came back with people, I’ve told try the burger. We all agree, it’s the bomb. Even Claire who responded to my review, she agreed, it’s the bomb.
What a disappointment. Seito Sushi think about the mistake made. I gave up hitting another spot and their Hamachi Kama because I was looking forward to the Wagyu. I’m just saying.

really like seito, been here a couple times now, and i will be back again
they have a ton of options from korean fried chicken to bao buns to sushi, a real fusion
enjoyed mostly everything i have had, but the sushi really stands out, the rolls are prepared well, and the nigiri is great as well
definitely try the sushi if you are here, it is tempting to try other things, but the sushi is a tier above
the service could be better, not sure what these guys are doing half the time, but its whatever really

There are so many better options in the Orlando area for the price. The service and decor featured here are absolutely fantastic, there is no denying that, but for the price of admission the food just did not hit, which for a restaurant is an integral part of the experience.
I tried a few of the appetizers starting with the truffle miso soup, this miso soup was 8 dollars which is absolutely insane for a miso soup in my opinion, especially for the end flavor. It lacked any rich truffle butter flavor or the flavor of miso paste and in the end and kind of reminded me of a lightly flavored bone broth. It was not finished.
Next I had their Ginza inspired chicken karaage and while the chicken itself was fine as was the sauce, the breading just left more to be desired both on the flavor and texture front, there was no crunch at all. This can also be said about the calamari I tried which just had an almost squishy breading (I'm assuming from sitting in the sauce) just left more to be desired.
The sushi itself wasn't anything special either, it was fresh, it had good flavor, but nothing stood out that I couldn't just get at one of the local AYCE sushi places. Nothing felt "signature" about the rolls I had.
When you're charging as much if not more than some of the local Michelin recognized restaurants, I expect it to be at the same or better caliber and that most definitely cannot be said when it comes to the food that I had. If you're looking for ambience orr fantastic service, this place has it. If you're looking for a culinary experience worthy of the price of admission, this is not it.

Seito Sushi completely blew me away. Honestly, I’m super picky when it comes to restaurants because I’m a pretty good cook at home, and most places just don’t impress me—but this? This was on another level.
We spoke to Claire, the manager, who was super sweet, and our waiter Cory nailed every suggestion for both food and drinks. The vibe inside is this cool mix of artsy and upscale, but it still feels cozy. Perfect for a night out.
I don’t usually like sushi, but this was easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Each dish had its own distinct flavors, and the balance of texture and taste was incredible. We started with the miso soup, which was so savory and packed with umami, and then moved on to the lobster & shrimp dumplings (amazing). We also had the sweetheart roll and ultimate spicy tuna, and for the main, the NY strip steak yakisoba noodles—those noodles had this complex flavor that bounced between salty, sweet and spicy.
For dessert? Ube cheesecake with a cashew almond crust and blueberry boba compote—it was ridiculous in the best way.
For drinks, we had the guava punch and the warrior’s old fashioned, both were perfect.
Honestly, I’m shocked they don’t have a Michelin star. Everything was top-notch, and I can’t find a single thing to fault. This place is exactly what a 5-star restaurant should be, and I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying so many other dishes.

Last night we had a horrible experience at this location we always appreciate the good food seito has to offer however from the start the host had an attitude regarding which table we would prefer then when our waiter Alicia came to the table she was extremely rude from the beginning clapping her hands and seemed annoyed to take our order. The runner was bringing our sushi rolls when I remembered we also ordered a side of white rice to which the runner very kindly said “yes it will be right out” then our waiter Alicia came from behind the table and said “well she can only carry two things at once “ and left. She did not say enjoy your meal or asked if everything looked good in the table which a server ALWAYS does and never came back to check up on us. Then when we asked for the manager that’s when Alicia finally comes back and says “I can come off a little aggressive “ WHY are you working in costumer service then ? Hello? And most importantly why do they hire people like that. I wouldn’t recommend coming to this location bad service bad experience, bad management. Alicia I hope you get fired.

I called Seito Sushi Sand Lake 8/31 at 8:05 pm and spoke with one of the host. My first question was on the wait times for a party of 2. The host informed me that the soonest time was 9:45 pm. I then sent my significant other inside the restaurant to pretend as a new table just to find out the wait time was 30 minutes. 9:45 pm comes by and I was never notified.…Does Seito Sushi Sand Lake not want more guest?
Nonetheless food was amazing, service was amazing. Just thrown off with the crazy wait timing.

Don't go with children, the employee won't even kick you out, the manager will come and do this wonderful job and tell you that you're bothering them, besides the fact that they prohibit you from drinking and all the time she keeps telling you the amount of your bill, it seems like you won't pay, unpleasant night, terrible restaurant.

Amazing hospitality!
Our waiter daniel had full knowledge of the food and the food was delicious!
And beef was halal

Seito is the perfect date spot! My husband and I always go to Seito! Love it, food is 10/10, and service is also 10/10!!

During our visit to Seito, our server, Naomi, made the experience memorable with her impeccable service. She provided excellent menu recommendations, was incredibly kind and friendly, and anticipated our needs perfectly. She was professional, very sweet, and had a warm demeanor that left a lasting impression, ensuring we'll return again! Hands down best service we’ve received!

I’ve been here once prior. It blow my mind back then. Fast forward to today, my mind is blown. Sat the bar, had the exclusive Wagyu burger…. Amazed. As far as roll, Ultimate Spicy Tuna. My go-to 1, 2 moving forward. Btw nice date spot.

Just an ordinary restaurant that claims to be gastronomic with a neat decoration but which is very far from being so.
The rolls were basic and not very tasty, I can make the same ones at home ...
The air-conditioning is incredibly low, it's cold in the restaurant!
Finally, the quality/price ratio isn't there.
I could pay less in a restaurant in Paris or Toronto and get more dishes and/or better taste.
In short, I don't recommend it.

We made a dinner reservation for my sister in laws bachelorette weekend. It was amazing! The places atmosphere is wonderful, the food is fantastic, our waiter was so kind and friendly and celebrated with us, we will definitely be coming back as soon as we can!

Unbelievable decor, ambiance and vibe. Naomi was our server very professional and really knew the menu. Her suggestions were spot on. The lovely lady manager bought us desert and we couldn't have been happier! From Maine on romantic weekend away and this ended our trip perfectly! We will be back. Food is superb!

I have to say this place is 10 out of 10 when it comes to service food drinks atmosphere music. It is the best sushi place or even restaurant. I have been to in a very long time. Highly recommend. PS the sweetheart roll is the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life

We have been regulars at the Sandlake Seito for many years, but sadly they have gone downhill ever since Andres left. The food quality has deteriorated. The service is slow. The newer employees all seem to be very young and very inexperienced. They also apparently hate seating you if you have young children. Tonight we tried to get an indoor table for my sister’s birthday (plenty of open seating on a Tuesday night at 6pm) but we were told that the only seating they had available for us was outside (in 90 degree weather) because of reservations that were conveniently stacked until 9pm. Mind you, my two year old and my newborn were with me so it was obvious they were intentionally trying not to seat us. When I informed the young lady that we couldn’t place my 10 week old baby out in the sweltering heat she said she would “ask her manager” if she could accommodate us indoors. We waited for her for several minutes standing around in the back of the restaurant. Finally we decided to go eat elsewhere due to the lack of attentiveness and obvious disdain for our presence. As we were exiting the young girl was on her phone at the front desk. It is truly a shame that this place took such a bad turn. The OG employees rocked and our late night post work sushi platters were to die for and so much fun! Time to find a new spot.

Wow, my boyfriend and i came here for our 5 year anniversary. We saw the photos and thought let’s try it and the place did not disappoint. They brought us champagne and the service provided by Miguel was immaculate. Will be coming back and surprisingly an amazing place for great food and a special occasion. 100% recommend.

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner at Seito Sushi 2 yrs ago. We returned for our anniversary last night and bartender, Lewis remembered us and made our anniversary special with amazing snacks, yummy cocktails and top notch sushi and a surprise dessert. The servers and manager made our anniversary extra special. We always feel special here and enjoy every moment. The atmosphere is perfection and the sushi is even better!

Dining here is always the best. Service is very important to myself and my family and thankfully Lis is always on top of everything. whether it’s updating us on new menu items or just being super attentive - she’s great! As always we recommend the calamari and the spicy tuna crispy rice, they never fail! We tried the ceviche and it was fresh and delicious.
Visited 10 months ago
Wow this place is good. Alisia was our server and she was great - bubbly personality and had great menu recommendations. The service was great all around, multiple people brought us our food. The spicy tuna crispy rice and calamari were great starters. For the signature rolls, we got the Hakaido, Yellow Fever and Distinguished Gentleman, all were amazing, especially the Yellow Fever with the ponzu sauce. The ambiance is great for a date or hang out with friends. We came super casual and were nervous about being turned away but we still felt welcomed. Def recommend this place!

The best sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to, period. The NY strip meal was amazing! It came out piping hot, had a great flavor, and meat was tender and marinated! Highly recommend. The sushi was amazing as well. The kids meal that came out for one of our kids was surprisingly fancy and the best tasting kids meal I’ve ever tasted! Service was exceptional. Our server was constantly checking our table and clearing dishes for us. For dessert we got the ube cheesecake and the key lime tart. Both were phenomenal. The only thing I didn’t love was the miso soup. But that could just be a preference. Will be back for sure!

My husband I came for our anniversary dinner & it was a fantastic experience. I cannot eat dairy or eggs and they accommodated my dietary needs beautifully. The food was so delicious I had the firecracker roll and unagi nigiri and the mackrel nigiri. My husband had the beef sirloin yakisoba, his food looked amazing. The ambiance is great many pretty picturesque places & it smelled so good too =). Lastly our server was fantastic, sadly I can't remember her name, she's a Russian girl, very persanable and attentive. 10 out of 10 reccomend.
P.s. Get the passionfruit sorbet, no eggs no dairy & absolutely delicious, a nice change from the typical sorbets available.

For what it cost the sushi should’ve been waaay better. One or two of the rolls might be worth it but everything else is overpriced!

I have dined at the Seito Sushi in Baldwin Park and the one on Sand Lake. Both are great but I prefer the one on Sand Lake. The sushi is out of this world, on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it.
The Baldwin Park location used to be open for lunch and it was our favorite place to go to take a break from work and grab some lunch but now is only open for dinner. The selection is good but I believe the Sand Lake location has a more elaborate and extensive menu.
The sushi is fresh and delicious and they have some wonderful and unusual rolls to choose from. Definitely check this Japanese restaurant out. I have had a great experience every time.
If you can make a reservation, I would, especially on the weekends.

I've been eyeing this place since seeing pictures of it online months ago.. Soo pleasantly surprised to find we wee staying around the corner and could drop in!
The gyoza and miso truffle soup were both explosions of flavor, The smoked kanpachi, kyuri maki, Hokkaido Father's Day special rolls were all refreshing and a delight to the tastebuds.
The banana split dessert was just the icing on my new favorite cake (restaurant, ahem).
Despite being wildly underdressed we were treated nicely and staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely make sure you make a trip past the back room the decor in this place makes the entire experience really unique. You won't regret it!

I decided to try Seito Sushi and was impressed by the quality. The Wagyu Ribeye Skewers were fantastic, with excellent flavor and texture, and the accompanying sauce was top-notch. The Lobster Dumplings and Chairman Roll were also delicious. While the prices are on the high side, making it a special occasion spot rather than an everyday option, the quality of the food justifies it. The upscale atmosphere is perfect for dates or business meals, though I felt a bit underdressed in shorts and a T-shirt. The staff were very nice, and despite the high prices, I enjoyed my meal. Ordered $137.40 worth of food and left a $30 tip. Highly recommend the Ribeye Skewers! I plan to return with my wife, and I recommend it for special dates or formal events.

The best sushi experience in Orlando so far. It's going to be hard to beat, with excellent service and sushi quality that is unparalleled. I got the Lobster Dumplings, Gyoza, Super Spicy Tuna roll, and the Corona roll. Everything was top-tier quality and presentation. For the price point, you can probably ball out at any other sushi place, but Seito is an experience.

Service is great, the ambiance is soooo nice! I can’t understand why I didn’t come any sooner!
They waitress toile the time to explain and arrange different options to make them vegetarian. This was one of the things o liked the most because it’s difficult to find in other places.
Food was delicious and drinks as well. Didn’t like much the ube cheesecake but that’s my personal taste. My wife did like it. We also had the mushroom with kale dish, a veggie sushi roll and the fried rice with vegetables
Definitely will return

Seito Sushi Sand Lake is a gem for sushi. My family and I come here everytime we come up to Orlando, drawn in by the consistently excellent food and welcoming atmosphere. The sushi selection is top-notch, featuring fresh ingredients expertly crafted into delicious rolls and sashimi. Their bao buns are also a must-try, with flavorful fillings and pillowy-soft exteriors. The ambience is inviting, with a modern yet cozy vibe perfect for any occasion. Service is always friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. We highly recommend Seito Sushi Sand Lake for a satisfying meal every time.

GREAT DATE NIGHT IDEA!
Wow! This place was amazing! I made a reservation for my boyfriend and I and we got to sit in this beautiful cherry blossom room! Service was great but slow. We ordered the fried rice tuna app, beauty & beast roll, and the sweetheart roll. We loved this place and will definitely come back!

Absolutely rip off. For $88 dollars the sushi platter contained 5 pieces of a roll, 3 types of sashimi, 4 pieces of sushi, and two extra single bite pieces. The quality of the items were no where near high enough to justify the astronomical price. For not too much more you can go to Kadence or soseki. Hell, I’d rather go to bento. Quality isn’t much worse and it’s a third of the price. However, I will mention the hostess was very nice.

First, I have to give a huge shout-out to Alden. His service was so amazing. He had great recommendations and was knowledgeable on everything on the menu. Being our first time going, we weren't sure what to get but everything he recommended was just delicious.
We got the Distinguished Gentleman roll as well as the octopus roll that was a part of today's specials. I honestly couldn't say which one I loved more. We also had the Iberico pork belly skewers (another special) and was divine.
Alden recommended the ube cheesecake for dessert and I'm so glad we got that. It was the perfect way to end the meal.
I cannot wait to go again and try more of what Seito has to offer.
