Food is absolutely delicious especially for a newer place! The belt is slow and struggle a bit with replenishment but the tablet at the table helps a lot. The wait time for ordering the food is mildly over than what’s said but is worth it in the end! The staff are extremely friendly and instantly helped us to the table and gave us a small demonstration on how the belt and everything works. Overall amazing place and a great place to have small convos of just enjoy!

If you go just for the sushi 🍣, be ready to wait for it. The sushi 🍣 sits on a conveyor belt that moves all the sushi 🍣 dishes around pasing by each table for you to grab. Unfortunately, most of the time, the dishes were empty, and you had to wait for the dishes to be replenished. If the dish you were waiting on did not show up, you could place an order for it, but that's after you realized your dish still has not been replenished. Then you are left waiting again for your oder. Each plate brings 2 🍣 rolls.
There are other options to select from as well. More is the pity it seems can not keep up with the high volume of sushi 🍣 being consumed. Our visit was not even a weekend vist.
Restaurant space is very compact. Each table can only sit 4 persons. A larger party would have to sit separately. When you arrive, you enter your information in a kiosk, then wait for the hostess to call your name and bring you to your table. There is a sign that says to please wait outside until called. This evening, it was raining very heavily. Each person that came and signed in had no choice but to crowd inside the entrance to escape the heavy down pour of the rain. The restaurant does not have an indoor waiting area for its patrons. We had been seated right in front of the door, and each time the door opened, I could feel the rain spraying on me. Also, because people were crowding the entrance, they were crowding our table. I swear, it felt like someone was about to ask us if they could sit. I also can't fathom, asking your patrons to wait outside in our summer heat.
We were not impressed at all.

This has been my third time visiting Kura, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. It's simple and filling, and the customer service is great. Once you have finished with your plates, insert them in the slot at the end of your table. Every 15 plates wins a prize. I really like eating until I'm full. This place hits the spot. There is so much to choose from.

I really wish this place would be as good as their other locations. I've been to the Waterford location three times now and each time the quality is lacking and the service leaves much to be desired. I've noticed that the rolls and nigiri pieces that come out are never close to uniform. Some plates in the conveyor belt will have the tiniest pieces of fish on top or less than a dollop of yuzu where other plates right behind it are the complete opposite. The rolls that are topped with fish look a mess every time. If you order nigiri off the touch screen to be delivered to your table, the rice completely falls apart each time.
On our visit on 11/25/24, the soy sauce was nearly empty and we didn't get a refill after asking for more. We also didn't get soy sauce dishes and when we asked for some, we were rudely told they didn't have any clean ones...despite there being several available in empty neighboring tables (see photo). It took well over five minutes to get our waters and I ended up having to place the order via the touch screen (as instructed) numerous times just to get 2 out of 4 orders. We never got our last water refill request. The "crispy" rice was just hard, old rice which tasted terrible. The tables get left dirty with dirty towels on them for prolonged periods of time. The bathroom has instructions on how to use the toilet yet no remote to actually use it (see photo). They were also completely out of paper towels in the restroom despite an employee using it right before I went in.
I was so excited when the Waterford location opened as it's way closer to my house but I'd much rather do the drive to the other locations which have been an excellent experience each time so far. Maybe one day they'll get it together but considering they've been open for awhile now, I'm not too optimistic.

The food was excellent, and the experience is definitely something I think anyone who is interested show try. The sushi is served in perfect testing portions. The ramen is very good as well. The sushi itself is also very cheap, but there is a gimmick in the restaurant where if you eat 15 plates, you get a surprise toy, which seems to be perfect for 2 people. This evens out at about $57.

Went here for lunch on a Thursday, thinking there will be a lot of variety, particularly eel, but it was a lot empty.
It was not busy, so there was no line.
I don't understand why I have the items there when it was not available.
Ordered on the menu bar, and a lot was empty for rolls and such.
It's was clean, and the guy was nice to my 3 y/o.
Hopefully, if we visit here again, there will be a lot more selections available 🙏 😊

It was a fun experience. The rotating dishes were nice priced but the plates we waited for and ordered were overly priced for the quantity you receive.
A lot of the rotating plates were empty and not being refilled.
It was a fun date note but not a place I will frequent.

First time at a revolving sushi bar, and I highly recommend the experience. Sushi is 2-3 pieces per plate, freshly made. The variety was astounding. It is a reasonably priced way to sample many types of sushi without having to commit to a full roll of something. I had octopus 🐙 for the first time and would order it again, but also tried squid for the fisrt and last time! There is a small electronic menu to special order items and to get your drinks. The group I was with sampled many of the alcoholic sake drinks and seemed to like them. I would definitely return here.

This is a great restaurant with nice prices and a wide variety of options. Erica was a great manager and graciously serviced me when experiencing a long wait hold due to food. Vincent took time out of his dinner rush to assist me with a question while waiting. Both great customer service examples that handled dinner rush with grace. It is a small location so be prepared to wait longer on the weekends.
One note of improvement would be adjusting the wait times for sitting and to go orders when busy. Wait time and to go orders were both longer waits than expected. Overall this is one of my favorite sushi spots!

The whole restaurant was amazing, but the server Nicolette was absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly helpful and was able to communicate with the staff to help with both allergen information and food preferences. Would recommend coming here even if you are concerned about allergies. They are incredibly accommodating and helpful even when it would be easier to do otherwise.

So it's a great place in general, the servers are nice, the way the sushi arrives to the table on the conveyor belt is very cool. BUT their sushi is slimy... I got a plate of the shrimp sushi they had and it smelled so far from fresh. I asked the server if this smelled fresh she said it was fine when in reality, it reeked.. anyways. Id skip this place unless you just want the experience. I give it a 2 because of the service and the cool prizes you can win.

Been going here for a while now. This has been our favorite location of this chain.
If you have not been to one, do not hesitate to let them know. There is a technique to grabbing the food from the conveyor that they can help you understand. I have watched many people struggle with it.
The restaurant is a conveyor belt sushi style. Where there are sushi options going around the tables and you pick up the ones you want.
There is a good sized selection and you pay per plate. I like the price per plate and there is typically only a couple to a few pieces on a plate so you can try a little of multiple things easily without wasting.
They have a second conveyor belt for things you order that are not kept on the sushi conveyor. There are some hot options, like Ramen, or a few fried options.
For the price the quality is very good, and being able to try many different items instead of just 1 to 2 rolls each is nice.

Easy and fast dining experience. Food and service were good.
However tidiness and cleanliness just fair. Considering it is a new place, I expected that it still would look fresh. I would definitely be back but hopefully the place will not get untidier as time goes by. Management should pay attention to the upkeep of the place.

I love the idea of the place, but the sushi is not good to awful; uni and the salmon eggs are awful here every time. For $15 more you can go to a really good sushi place where the quality is 5/5. Do better you're only one step above gas station sushi

Since this location has been opened, myself and my family been here maybe 6+ times now
Although it’s pricey the food is fresh and really good. There hasn’t been a time I left the restaurant thinking I didn’t get my money worth. Would go again or recommend to anyone who hasn’t experienced this type of atmosphere.
My only complaint would be to not run out of some menu items, it’s good to experience everything they offer

I’ve come here a few times because I enjoy the food, however my most recent visit was extremely disappointing. I came in on New Year’s Eve at 12 PM and while I understand it was busy the service was horrible. I wanted to try the newly advertised “Perfect Pair”, but I could not click the section on the ordering screen. I then clicked the help button to call someone over, but no one ever came to check on me the whole time I was there (around 45 minutes - 1 hour). I ended up ordering a few plates but paid way more than I was expecting, since I came in prepared to order the special mentioned before. I also waited 10+ minutes for a hand roll while watching other people’s food come before mine. The final straw was when I ordered a keychain and it arrived on a dirty plate. The plate had sticky sauce on it, and it was disgusting (photo below). Overall, this has been the most disappointing experience coming to Kura Sushi and I don’t know if I’ll be back for a while.

Themis place is so much fun. Especially for my sushi loving little ones. The robot serving drinks and revolving bar as well as special ball with tiny surprise gift at the end - all of it is worth the hype. They choose this place for their birthdays. We loose a bit of track with the plates and the bill is always higher than any other sushi experience but we have a blast.

Kura Sushi in Waterford Lakes offers a unique dining experience with its revolving sushi conveyor belt and touch-screen ordering system. The sushi is fresh, with a good variety of classic rolls and specialty dishes, and the portions are reasonably sized. The gamified aspect of earning prizes for eating plates adds a fun touch, especially for families or groups. However, the wait times can be long during peak hours, so plan accordingly.

I have visited this location a number of times.
Today was a shocking experience. I was seated and promptly after ordering my water I ordered my ramen, which I have ordered every other time I've been here.
I ordered my ramen instantly because it takes a while.
The screen read I had 4 minutes to wait, so I did. I had a couple of plates. I read my email...
I looked up and it still read 4 minutes. Meanwhile the person who came after me had ordered, received it, eaten it, ordered again and received that too.
I asked the server. He shrugged. I looked back there. There wasn't a guy who was busy with a ramen.
It had been 8 minutes now.
I washed my hands, returned, asked about my food. Shrug.
I started a stopwatch. It was up to 5 minutes when I asked the server again. By now 20 minutes...
He runs back. No one is working on it!
For a place that treats the servers badly, you wouldn't expect good service. But not being aware of an order? That's a new record!
If they don't like customers ordering food, they are in the wrong business!

To Kura, I write to you as i fight back a deep slumber that threatens to destroy any remembrance of you. So fulfilling was the food that it takes me into a different state of mind shortly afterwards but not before this review gets done. I adore the taste of sushi so much so that every single plate has left its mark on me just as the sear leaves its mark on the salmon, As the nights turn cold, so does my heart when I am not sitting near rotating plates. I would thank the very plates for bringing me the sushi if I could but at last they don’t even know their value. That is why I would like to thank Yvonne for bringing me the rich and fuzzy and bubbly coke which fizzles in my tummy after every bite. The way the servers greet me reminds me of my mother’s love when she would greet me with a warm bowl of soup. I could only imitate that same feeling of myself in her home whenever i take a sip of the warm ramen they serve here. Thank you Kura

I recently dined at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The sushi was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Each piece was perfectly crafted, and the rotating conveyor system made it so much fun to select what you want, all while enjoying the variety of options available.
What really stood out was our server, Vincent. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our meal. His friendly demeanor and thoughtful recommendations really enhanced the experience, and it's clear that he genuinely cares about the customers.
The ambiance of Kura Revolving Sushi Bar was modern and lively, with a fun, interactive vibe that added to the enjoyment. I appreciated the convenience of being able to grab fresh sushi as it passed by, and the ordering system was seamless.

Between the robot drink server, Brooke's wonderful service, and the sushi bar it was a wonderful experience. The plate drop off to win trinkets makes this lots of fun to bring a large party of people. Each plate is $3.80 but the plates are 1-4 pieces of sushi per plate based on the expense of material. There are also hot bowl/plates.

So this is such a cute and adorable place, it was my first time seeing this type of restaurant and it is quite adorable and they have a robot named Kir-bi who I love so much! There are multiple waiters and we had one named Nico(Lette) who is so cute and sweet she and her other co-workers were able to explain what an item was, and I asked many questions. I will say some of the food was ok I didn’t get to try everything but the desserts funny enough were the best part. I wish they had something with flavours or spices but overall it’s a cute place to try with friends!

Delicious and such a fun experience. My husband and I have gone 3 times in the last 10 days we love it here so much. The robots delivering the drinks are super fun. There’s tons of options for sushi and if you don’t see what you want on the conveyer you can order it on the digital menu at your table. The staff is kind and attentive. Definitely check it out!

We had such a great time at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar on Alafaya Trail! A group of 10 of us went on a Thursday night, and everything was fantastic. Renata, Nico, and Erika were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
The food was fresh and delicious. We tried a little bit of everything—Philadelphia rolls, miso soup, and even cheesecake. Even our grandmas, who never eat sushi, gave it a try and loved it! The conveyor belt setup made it so much fun to pick out different dishes as they went by.
We’ll definitely be coming back. It’s a great spot for anyone, whether you’re a sushi fan or trying it for the first time. Highly recommend!

My wife and I are addicted! Reminds us of a similar place we visited in Japan. Get their well before close as the selection gets a little.less

I am truly confused by the good ratings on here. The only good thing about this place was the strawberry mochi, and honestly you can get that anywhere else. The place smells unpleasant, it felt like if I sat there for too long I was going to walk out smelling like that. The shrimp looked concerning, it was very slimy to the point that I couldn’t find the courage to put it in my mouth. It just wasn’t it, you’re better off going to Publix for the same quality sushi.

First time here was great the second time not so much. I was waiting probably 10 mins for a roll and no one ever came to the table when I pressed the call button and my son needed utensils for dessert. So he just ended up using his hands.

This was our second time here and there was no wait. Food is fresh not fishy love coming here. We had salmon nigiri , tuna nigiri, miso seared salmon, steak umami, crunchy salmon roll, udon beef and cucumber salad all fire. & our Server Nico was awesome

So, we went there today (Saturday) about 1pm. It wasn't busy and there was no waiting time. Server walked us to our table and asked us if it was our first time and we said yes since we've never been to this restaurant or any similar ones before. He sat us and said he would be right back to "teach us' how it works. And he walked away and that was the only and last time we saw any staff!!
We were hungry, so after a few minutes waiting for the server who never came back, we slowly starteted grabbing some plates off the moving belt. On the touch screen we requested a glass of water which came a couple of minutes later on a robot. OK, cute and all but whatever. I prefer warm human interaction. We needed some forks (we can't use chop sticks) but nobody ever stopped by our table to see if we needed anything. We wanted some wassabi and ginger, but again, no servers, not even the one who had promised to teach us after he sat us down. My wife walked around and found some wassabi and ginger on a side service table and grabbed some!
The food was average, slightly better that Chinese buffet sushi. Atmosphere was OK due to the fact it was a bit different with moving food belt and touch screen to order other items and even pay. We finally decided to go somewhere else in search of better service. We had shared about 5 or 6 small sushi dishes and the bill was about 24 dollars and we paid ourselves on the touch screen pad, and walked ourselves out without any interaction with anybody. From there we walked a few yards away into a pizza restaurant that was actually pretty good.. Can't remember the name. So in conclusion 2.5/5 for the food, 0/5 service and 3/5 for the atmosphere only because it was different and new for us, but nothing to be wowed about. Oh, and about 40% of the plates were running empty on the belt but no big deal, but I think they should either remove them or replace them with full ones.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES COME HERE!!!! If you’re looking for the most gentrified, americanized, low quality excuse for sushi available then this is the place for you. Lets start.
1. The sushi sucks and is prepared awfully, the cuts are wrong, the ones that arent supposed to have skin do and the ones that do dont, the only sushi ever available on the conveyor is the basic nigiri on top of rice any of their specialty rolls arent on there and if you order them specifically get ready to wait a minimum of 20 minutes for 2-3 pieces of bottom tier sushi. They leave the same pieces on the conveyor for longer than any sane person would deem acceptable and the fish tastes bad and is always slimy and discolored.
2. The price is actually obscene for what youre getting you could go literally anywhere else including PUBLIX and get a better sushi.
3. Ive tried to give this place 2 tries. The first time I gave the benefit of the doubt said it was a one off and tried it again. BOTH TIMES ive gotten viciously sick.
This place sucks there are SEVERAL infinitely better sushi places around the UCF area and none of them cost nearly as much and none of them have ever gotten me sick. By far the worst sushi experience in orlando.

Ordered togo and had a very kind server who helped me decide on my order! There is also a very welcoming atmosphere inside the restaurant!

I moved here from Japan, it is very similar to a Sushiro restaurant. The atmosphere and food were very nostalgic for my family. (My daughter cried when she walked in and saw it.) We had a great time.
The food is quite high in cost compared to what we were used to. Almost 3$ a plate, in Japan it is roughly 100¥ which is about 75¢. I will chock it up as paying for the experience however.
They also serve Kirin which is my favorite and this is the first place in America that I have found it.
