I took my girlfriend to this restaurant for her birthday, and we absolutely loved the unique variety of sushi. The Atomic roll was definitely our favorite, but honestly, every roll we tried was delicious and bursting with flavor. The drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere really enhanced our experience.

No doubt we will be back. The spicy scallops hand roll is the best and the steak with the right saki.... well, you just have to try it for yourself

I recently visited this sushi spot and was blown away by their happy hour! The prices are great for the quality of sushi you get—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was on point. My absolute favorite was the TNT roll — slightly spicy, packed with flavor, and definitely a must-try. If you're looking for great sushi without breaking the bank, come here during their happy hour.

Such good sushi, but the fries with this sauce!! 10/10. This area is around the Orlando city soccer stadium and it’s worth the drive. The food was amazing and the restaurant flowed easily while many chefs were creating at the sushi bar. The waitress was so good at her job. You won’t regret coming here.

FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. Every single item we ordered was exceptional, from the cucumber basil martini, to the ginger house salad and the volcano roll. Food was out extremely fast, very fresh. The icing on the cake was the service provided by Jerry, who was very courteous, informative and pleasant. The ambiance of the restaurant is very well thought out. If you’re having second guesses, don’t, and just come.

There is paid parking in the garage behind the restaurant or metered street parking. Once got in, got a table instantly. We took our servers recommendations of the tiger roll and blue crab fried rice and it was excellent. The tuna kobachi was tasty as the avocado and sauce complimented the dish well. The yellowtail serrano was fresh. The wagyu Yaki soba was ok. It was the least favorite dish on the table. Overall great experience and friendly staff.

We went for my husband’s birthday and it was phenomenal. Our server Bri was so sweet and took great care of us. The sushi was very fresh with generous portions. They even brought out a surprise birthday ice cream for us and sang happy birthday. Experience was 10/10, will definitely be coming back!

The ambiance there is very nice; it feels peaceful. I first went for lunch and then returned for dinner with my family. The highlight of the experience was definitely the miso soup—it was incredibly good. Honestly, it might be the best miso soup I've ever had. The rest of the food was also excellent.

TOTOYA Sushi Lounge is quickly becoming my favorite spot to indulge in sushi! From the moment you step inside, the ambiance is inviting and chic, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The menu is full of fresh, flavorful options, and everything I’ve tried so far has been absolutely delicious.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the service. Addy, one of the servers, is hands down the best! He’s incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations have always been spot-on, and he goes above and beyond to ensure every visit feels special.
If you’re in the mood for a cocktail or drink, the bar is definitely worth checking out. The bartenders are super friendly and craft some amazing drinks that perfectly complement the sushi.
If you’re a sushi lover or just looking for a great spot to unwind, TOTOYA Sushi Lounge is a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back and experience more of what they have to offer!

As recurrent diners at this fantastic restaurant, we consistently look forward to our visits, and a huge part of that anticipation is our wonderful waitress, Christina—affectionately known as Tina. She is truly sweet, awesome, and amazing! From the moment we arrive, she treats us like family, making us feel special and appreciated. Her customer service is exemplary, and it's clear that she genuinely cares about her guests. The restaurant is lucky to have her, and she should be cherished as one of its finest team members.
Tina's food recommendations are always on point. This time, we tried the Taco Wasabi and Hamachi Kama, and both dishes were absolutely fantastic! She is always helpful and friendly, enhancing our dining experience with her insightful suggestions.
What truly impresses us is Tina’s efficiency. She handles any challenges that come her way with grace, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, all while maintaining a positive attitude—even during the busiest times. Her ability to juggle multiple tables without missing a beat is commendable.
Thanks to Tina, our dining experiences are always enjoyable, and it’s one of the reasons we keep coming back. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Service was impeccable, and the sushi was great. Each roll was made with care, and none of them had too much rice. The fish was fresh and delicately prepared. I will definitely be back as a regular place to visit as the Happy Hour Prices are reasonable. It's definitely worth a visit!

This place is a joke of a sushi place. More than half of the fish on the nigiri menu is out of stock. This place is for people who order California rolls and salmon sushi. This is my 2nd visit and it was the same story as the first. I will never give this place another chance.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your restaurant during Happy Hour. While I have always enjoyed your food and appreciated dining at your establishment, this visit was extremely disappointing due to the actions of your staff and what I consider to be an unreasonable policy.
I ordered from your Happy Hour menu and requested to have part of my meal packed to take home. To my surprise, I was told by your staff that I could not receive a to-go box because of your policy on Happy Hour items. Moreover, I was informed that if I wanted to take the food with me, I would need to pay the full price for it, instead of the discounted Happy Hour price I had already paid.
This policy is not only frustrating but completely unacceptable. Being denied a to-go box and then being forced to pay extra if I want to avoid food waste is, in my opinion, one of the worst examples of customer service I have ever experienced. It has ruined what was otherwise a positive impression of your restaurant.
I am extremely disappointed in the behavior of your staff, whose actions and unwillingness to accommodate a reasonable request have left me with a negative impression. The experience has overshadowed the fact that we have always enjoyed your food in the past.
I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and address this issue, both in terms of your policies and the training of your staff, so that no other customer has to go through such an experience.
Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Christina is incredible! She's attentive, kind, personable, quick amd honest. Her recommended dishes hit!!! Chicken teriyaki was brought out sizzling like a fajita, salmon carpacciio was 10/10, and thr Hollywood roll is like nothing I've ever had! 😋 we will be back and asking for her! Kiss to the chefs 👨🍳 and thr bartender for thr best dirty martini in SOCO

I was really excited to try this place after the reviews on here. However, when I arrived, by myself to eat at the sushi bar, I was told it was booked up. I took a peek and there were clearly some single chairs left. I asked again, and with an attitude I was asked if I knew what day it was… that it was Friday and they take reservations only…. Yes honey, I know what day it is. The website doesn’t state that but okay. I wasn’t going to waste my energy arguing with the guy. Obviously my money wasn’t welcome there. I suggest updating your website on the reservations policy.

When my fiancé and I sat down at this restaurant, our experience took a turn for the worse almost immediately. We noticed a large horsefly buzzing around us, landing on the glass next to our table. It kept flying around and harassing us, which, as you can imagine, was pretty gross in a place where we were about to eat. We tried to deal with it ourselves, swatting it away, but eventually, we informed our waiter when he finally came over. To our shock, instead of addressing the issue, he brushed it off with a dismissive, ‘Oh, well anyway, what can I start you off with?’ I had to ask him to take care of it, which should’ve been an automatic response in any restaurant. He finally did, but not without an attitude.
Throughout our meal, his rude behavior continued. Every time we said thank you, he replied with an “uh huh,” making it clear he was annoyed with us. He even went back to the other waiters, chuckling about it, which felt incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful.
To top it off, the food was mediocre at best, making the entire experience a complete letdown. We won’t be returning, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
If you’re looking for good food and decent service, skip this place and go to Jinya around the corner instead.

Christina at Toyota Sushi House made our night! From the moment we stepped in, she greeted us with a big smile and made us feel super welcome. She really knows the menu inside and out, and her recommendations were spot on – it felt like she totally got what we were in the mood for. Plus, she was super attentive without hovering, which is always a nice balance.
What really stood out, though, was how Christina made the whole experience feel personal. Even though the place was pretty busy, she somehow made us feel like we were the only ones there. Her friendly vibe added so much to the overall feel of the night. If you’re heading to Toyota Sushi House, definitely ask for Christina – she’ll take great care of you and make sure you have an awesome time.

Was my first time coming here and was very excited, Heard only good things about the food, and service. But I was ultimately met with horrible service. Our server didn’t acknowledge us for 20 minutes. So my partner and I walked out. I tried talking to the manager but he just seemed as lost as the server. Sad to see such a beautiful restaurant run by a oblivious “manager”.

We’ve dined here twice and have had a great experience both times. Little to no wait, great prices for what you’re getting, and it’s a really nice atmosphere. Although I did not get anything to drink, they do have a full service bar. Their sushi rolls were all good, i’ve had about 5-6 different rolls and they were all delicious with our favorite being the surf and turf with lobster and wagyu. The wagyu fried rice is a must have for us. The service was good, nothing out of the ordinary. We will definitely be back!

This sushi restaurant is truly delightful. The decor, food, and service are all absolutely wonderful. They have a bar on one side for those who just want to enjoy drinks, and a dining area on the other side, which also includes outdoor seating near the sidewalk. I look forward to my next visit with great anticipation.

We were here for vacation and found this spot. We are vegetarian and finding good options can be a challenge. This was absolutely the best meal we had while here. We came for dinner on Saturday and had to come back one more time for lunch before flying back home. If this place was available in our home town we would never go anywhere else for sushi. Food was great, but service was extremely subpar. Our waiter was very unsure of himself, barely knew the menu (I had to show him a drink item on the 1st page of the menu..), couldn't answer any of our questions, and never found a manager when he needed a question answered. We could clearly see employees gathering in a circle, staring at our table & gossiping about our problem with our order. Our waiter also failed to ask about splitting the check and assumed it would be on 1 tab. This was our 2nd poor experience here and we won’t be back. Not when I can get quality sushi for a better experience elsewhere.

A pretty good choice of restaurant in the area. There are a few sushi and this one would be somewhere on the top few.
I had the salmon Toro sashimi which was fantastic; fresh; delicious; and priced right. The rolls and appetizers are great for solo or sharing.
Staff is attentive and great service. Nothing which stands out good or bad, just great expected service for a good venue.
I'm a big fan of this being central to the Eola area. Walking distance from the lake, some desert and coffee shops in the vicinity
The restaurant inside is elegant and intimate. Would come back for date or special occasion with friends. The outside is a bit more casual and nice if not summer.
I would like to come back and try other items on the menu

I brought my GF here right after proposing (she said yes by the way 😂) and this place was great. First time here, but the vibe is great and the sushi was very fresh and flavorful, with decent prices for the area and quality. Our server was Jessica and she was amazing, super friendly and helpful while also keeping a good atmosphere at the table when she checked in with us throughout the meal. She could tell we just got engaged which was cool, and congratulated us with a tempura ice cream dish that she had made into a heart, on the house. We'll definitely be back.

Caution Advised for Those with Allergies.
I attended a dinner at this sushi establishment around 5:30 PM today with high hopes for a delightful meal. As a sushi aficionado with a serious sesame allergy, I made my dietary restrictions clear from the outset to our server Tyler. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by what seemed to be a casual approach to food allergies.
My initial appetizer arrived sprinkled with sesame ingredients, which I could visually detect. This first oversight set a tone of unease for the rest of the meal, as I was left uncertain about the presence of sesame in my subsequent orders. Despite my efforts to double-check each dish, the reassurance I sought was not forthcoming.
In seeking clarity and safety in my dining experience, I requested to speak to a manager, only to be informed that none was on duty. My subsequent attempt to converse with the chef was met with the impractical suggestion that I venture into the kitchen myself, as the chef was not amenable to leaving his post to address my concerns.
While the flavor and quality of the sushi were commendable, the lack of serious attention to a potentially life-threatening issue such as a food allergy was deeply disappointing. Moreover, the inflexibility to accommodate modifications in sushi orders was peculiar, given that each dish is supposedly made to order.
For those with food allergies or sensitivities, I would urge caution when considering dining here. The nonchalant attitude towards customer health concerns has led me to the decision to patronize Kabooki Sushi instead, which is conveniently located nearby and, I lmow, demonstrates a more conscientious approach to customer care.
In summary, while the cuisine itself was quite enjoyable, the management of food allergies and staff left much to be desired. It's a stark reminder that the safety and comfort of restaurants should be paramount, and it is regrettable that this was not reflected in my experience.

I've never been here before, but I'll definitely be visiting again the next time I'm in the area! The server was super nice and friendly throughout, even though I went by myself, which means less tips. I really appreciate that! I tried the ankimo (monkfish liver) and it was really delicious, though also super filling! I barely had room for the fantastic crispy spare ribs, so I took the rest home for dinner. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, though I chose the patio since it was a lovely day, and it doesn't disappoint either! This meal definitely made my day, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful indulgence.

If you haven't been to Ootoya it is a must try in Orlando. One of my favorite sushi spots to visit in town.
The fish is always fresh. My favorite sushi roll is the Hollywood. One of the most unique rolls I have ever eaten. The different types of fish pair well together and the presentation is quite eye-catching.
For something more affordable, I would recommend going to their happy hour. The appetizers and drinks are a little cheaper and there is a deal where 3 sushi rolls cost $18.
The only complaint I would have is that Ootoya is understaffed every time I visit. There is not a host in the front and it takes quite a bit to get someone's attention to get a table and to be seated.

Server was willing to make changes to my order for me. Came out perfect.

This food was absolutely terrible, the Gyoza was decent but everything else was horrible and I did not finish eating. The crab rice had no lump meat as the description spoke of, the rice had the weirdest gummy texture. The sushi was mushy and gummy as well, I absolutely hated it and will never return. The worse $45 I’ve ever spent what a waste.

I have yet to dine in here, but I live down the street and this is my new favorite local takeout spot. All the sushi and food is fresh and delicious. It's always high quality, fairly priced and fast. I'd like to dine in soon and also check out their happy hour one day too! Great place!

Top 3 sushi places in Orlando. They have all the delicacies.

Food was good but not great, service felt rushed plus the waitress seemed bothered of being working the night before Christmas eve. We sat in the patio, really nice ambiance.

I recently celebrated my birthday here and I had the best experience. The staff was soooo sweet and took really good care of my party of 11! All of the food was delicious. They also went out of their way to accommodate me with gluten free substitutes. The style of the restaurant and the atmosphere was super nice. Highly recommend!

3.5/5
Food was great, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed everything served to us. We ordered the soft shell crab appetizer as well as the braised ribs. We each also ordered a sushi roll, mine being the atomic roll. The sweet plantain paired exceptionally well with the fish creating a very clean mix of light creamy sweetness and fresh high quality fish. The ribs were tender and lightly fried leaving a fantastic crispy exterior and soft tender interior. The sauce paired with the ribs was excellent as well for both the ribs and the side veggies that come with them.
However the meal fell short of 5 stars strictly due to our server. Early in the meal I inquired about the “fish of the day” which is listed many times throughout the menu. Oddly I was met with misplaced attitude and was told that there is no fish of the day.
The host and surrounding tables server were incredibly kind and polite but for some reason our server was not.
After paying we left a small tip due to these reasons and was actually confronted with more attitude outside of the restaurant by our server who felt she deserved more. Had I had the host or the surrounding tables server I would have left a standard 20%. Given the misplaced attitude and the incredibly unprofessional confrontation outside I wish I would not have tipped at all.

I was there with my friends for my birthday. My birthday was ruined. The waiter said they were offering dessert. And he gave it to me. Logically, when the waiter says this, it means it's free, or at least I should be warned that it's not. Then, of course, I saw this dessert in my receipt, and I wouldn't care if I could choose something better, as long as it's not free. But they offered ice cream and said that as a birthday gift we can only offer ice cream. It's illogical if I pay for it in any way. Then, of course, we left without leaving a tip, and the waitress ran out after us and shouted at us not to come here anymore. Thank you for ruining my birthday. We're not coming anymore:)

My wife, I and our two friends had a dinner last night. The food was delicious, fresh and of a very high quality. . We have not enjoyed the sashimi of such good quality for a long time.
A friendly atmosphere and service were exceptional. We are planning to dine at Ootoy agin in the closest future.

5 Stars everything cause they really deserve it! From the moment you get in: the service is welcoming, warm and friendly; everyone smiles at you making you feel comfortable. The decoration is top notch, simple but with great lighting atmosphere game; the outside area is really well kept too. In this restaurant the decoration, the menu, the happy hour prices, the drinks...oh my God: I would go there on my worst days only to elevate my mood. This place it's a cure, I highly recommend it!

The place is nice, however the flavor is not what I am used to. Service was fine, but the server forgot a few things. To me the ribs are an overkill, no flavor , sushi was good and tuna tataki. Happy hour drink were great. Since I know what my friends are looking 4, I won’t recommend this place. Now go, and don’t let my review persuade you differently.

I prefer to come here and sit at the bar, but I always have a pleasant experience! Good quality food, prices are a little high but worth it for the atmosphere. I love when there are live animal cams (raptors aka hawks or the bears). This is my go to local sushi spot. Only area of improvement would be if there was a craft beer selection.
