This Restaurant has been our favorite for many years. Great sushi, amazing happy hour and they have kept thier prices fair. Can't find a better sushi spot in Orlando. The staff are always friendly and we have loved coming back and will continue for years to come!

Not many people but inviting atmosphere and good music. The miso soup was hot and flavorful - Bikkuri definetly DOESNT water it down like some other places ive been! The selection of sushi and non-sushi items was plenty but not overwhelming, I got the spicy tuna roll and american roll. Both were great! They served a lot more sushi pieces in the rolls than I expected which is so awesome to see when everyone does “shrinkflation” now.

The beef fried rice was more on the floral side with light seasoning to bring out the taste of the meat itself. Much more like vietnamese style fried rice. Tasty and light!

I love this place. Hadn't been since before the pandemic. Scotty was our amazing server, very personable and helped put my brother at ease in trying a new cuisine. Scotty and the Chef went above and beyond to find the perfect dish for him. The Thai tea base is made in house, always a treat to stop by here.

Just WOW !
A hidden gem, literally. Was not expecting the food to be this tasty and large portions also in this place that’s not so easy to find.
We ordered a little bit of everything and all had its unique taste, the server was extremely helpful with our order since it was my 1st time.
This sushi place has its unique vibe and twist to each dish served .
Perfect date night venue or a place to surprise your parents with

It's in the second floor on colonial and it's nice sitting near the window. The atmosphere is pretty chill, good for a beer or drink, but that's it. Sushi rice was hard and not seasoned. Fish for the rolls were dry and thin. Curry was 75% rice and 20% curry with 5% meat and veg. Service was good, but I can't recommend the sushi, I've had better from Publix.

I wish I could say something positive about this place but nothing was up to par during our visit. The service was very slow and the food was the worst that I have had in Orlando. The sushi tasted like it was frozen and the chicken was rubbery and tasted more like pork than chicken. Even the fried rice didn’t taste good. The only thing that was cool was sitting above the street with a view. I would have to say I won’t be going back.

Absolutely everything about this place is amazing. From the prices, service, atmosphere, and to the quality of the food. The waitress was so nice and very quick, she even warned my friend about peanuts being in the ginger salad dressing just in case she was allergic. The chef himself came to our table and talked to us about the sushi order we placed. Making a recommendation for my friend and being very talkative with us. I ordered a taro blended drink and it’s the best taro drink I’ve ever had. The crab rangoons were even better, I don’t think I have had a more delectable appetizer at a restaurant. The sushi was what my friend and I came for and we were not disappointed in the slightest, it was so fresh and addicting. I highly recommend coming here for any occasion. I paid about $30 for a taro blended drink, miso soup, crab rangoons, and a sushi roll and gave a 25% tip because the experience was such a good one.

Literally worst experience ever they looked at us funny when we first walked in and then we got sat he asked us if we wanted drinks and we said we’re fine with water and he gave us a weird response and we waited for literally 30 minutes until we decided to finally get up and leave and saw an employee just chilling at the host stand hitting a vape doing nothing while we were unaccounted for will not be coming back considering i literally worked 6-2 and stayed up all night and wanted to wait for a nice dinner and would’ve ordered a lot and tipped a bunch poor decisions do better next time and get better staff the worst part is I planned this date over a month ago because I wanted to take my girlfriend out after a long few work weeks thank you for ruining my day

Do yourself a favor and don't order takeout. Ordered soba noodles with beef and chicken, fried udon with beef, and udon in broth with shrimp. Also ordered spicy tuna roll, crazy yellowtail roll, and gyoza. The only items we enjoyed were the tuna roll and gyoza. The entrees all got a few bites and thrown out. Shrimp was soft and beef was very tough and chewy so either poor quality or prepared earlier and held for later use. Udon and soba noodles were like glue with little seasoning. Pretty bad when my daughter turned it down. $110.00 wasted. Disappointed considering reviews were pretty good on average. Maybe they are better when dining in.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. The sushi is great but the other traditional Japanese food here is fantastic, harder to find, and brings back memories of traveling to Japan for me. I love the okonomiyaki. The setting is relaxed and friendly. I have been coming here since before having kids but the kids now really like watching the street from the second floor.

Food was pretty good, definitely recommend the takoyaki as an appetizer and the okonomiyaki. It was pretty busy when we got there but we still got sat pretty fast. Service was on the slower side however there weren’t too many people working. Overall, would come back again on a slower day. Bonus points though because they play anime openings.

This is such an amazing lil spot.

The manager is ULTRA hospitable. The service is excellent and the food is flavorful and delicious! Aptly priced because the portions are excellent.

We got the squid karaage, curry special and salmon inarizushi.

The manager blessed us with a free appetizer because it was our first visit.

Atmosphere is intimate and a little dated but it doesn’t matter. Between the food and the service it is so so charming.

1000/10 would go again.

I spent almost $100 and expected enough food to fill 2 people. My husband was still hungry after and he’s not a big guy. Also, the listed ingredients for the rolls (e.g., truffle sauce) made it seem like the rolls would have more flavor than they did. Most of them except for one were pretty flavorless unfortunately.

I loved my experience here! The staff was incredibly friendly and the sushi rolls tasted fresh. We ordered the American roll, spicy tuna roll, and the dragon roll. I would totally order them again and come back for happy hour from 5pm - 7pm!! The miso soup and seaweed salad was also very good. I may consider ordering the okonomiyaki next time.

The okonomiyaki was very good. They have some good japanese beer on tap. The ramen was odd- they do not have pork as a possible protien, they put carrots and broccoli in it for some reason, and it is shoyu only. No tonkatsu broth, if that's your thing. The vegetables they put in are not normal for ramen and make it taste strange. I would absolutely go back for the okonomiyaki but would not reorder the ramen here.

Great hidden place in Orlando. Amazing view at night time. While the happy hour isn't as happy as I would want in its prices. The food is good. The presentation is interesting, while the taste is authentic, the presentation is modern. The takoyaki is especially unique in how it's made. The volcano sushi was delicious.

I wouldn't recommend the Okinomiyaki though, incredibly midyaki.
I had the pork katsu and it was good and my friend had the niku gyudon which was good. I'll definitely return to try other dishes. Amazing waitress as well.

Bikkuri is the correct name because I was definitely surprised finding such a good place.

Sadly one of my favorite place to get sushi has gone bad. Prices are higher and they remove the combo platters. I ordered Gioza which were 5 tiny ones. Tuna Spicy Roll, Salmon Spicy Roll, California Roll and Two Mango milk tea. That was $85. Sadly if they don't bring the platters back, im not coming back.

What a great hidden spot!! Went for happy hour and it's a steal- great drinks, apps, and sushi rolls. Loved it so much forgot to take before photos. Food & service were 11/10, very genuine and fresh!

The location is upstairs so climb the stairs with faith that you will find sushi joy at the top!

10 out of 10! This restaurant was a beautiful magical experience, one I will never forget and always remember, absolutely loved everything! Even the water! Honestly wow! The food was so amazing. It had to be made by people years into the craft of sushi. Literally everything taste fresh and crispy, and this is with it being hectic from valentines day. The shrimp on the fried rice taste so fresh you would have thought they caught it the same day. Gyoza, takoyaki, and krab rangoon were so good. We had sushi to go and it was still crispy when we got home. Tiana was our server and she was phenomenal, she was working hard but still came back to check in. Everyone there was so nice, and the music just added to the ambience. Will be coming back!

This is an ol' trustee! Hard to beat this bargain. Quality and quantity all at a very reasonable price. Probably the restaurant that I have eaten the most at living in downtown in the past 20 yrs. My son was raised coming here and we have even celebrated some of his birthdays here because he loves it so much. It's a place I've bring friends from out of town or simply when I want time to myself. It's a restaurant with a great view since it's on a second story and almost every seat has a window view which contributes to the awesome vibe they got going on. I really like this place, hope you do too.

Overall: First time here, the happy hour menu was nice to save a few bucks. The sushi was fresh and tasty. We would go back again. They have private parking lot and a full bar.

Appetizer: Spicy garlic edamame. Id have to say the biggest disappointment in nearly all ways. The portion was very small, and the garlic and spice seemed like an afterthought and not really on the edamame(and was an upcharge). The edamame itself was cooked well though.

Main course: We ordered the Crazy Yellowtail Roll, spicy tuna, kimchi and hurricane rolls. We enjoyed them all and all tasted like fresh fish, most importantly. We would recommend trying any or all of them. Side note: Alot of rolls had krab or shrimp, but we were happy with our selections.

Service: Service was average, to be honest I think it was just our server the other servers seemed more energetic and attentive.

Bikkuri used to be our go-to in the neighborhood for sushi and happy hour. As of late, the food quality and portion size have deteriorated and the cost has gone up. Maybe it's just for delivery, but the value is no longer there. Below is what you get for the real crab Inari. Icky. Maybe happy hour is great and a good value still, but stay away from door dash or delivery.

We had been here many years back, and it was OK and decided to give it another shot. Unfortunately, the food was bad, really bad. I’m sure the Japanese curry was from a tin - it was watery and let’s just say, very non-traditional. The sushi wasn’t fresh, and the edamame came from the frozen section of publix. I wouldn’t have called it cheap either. That said, my cocktail was OK! We won’t be back.

Honestly I came here for the first time ever yesterday and I usually don’t write reviews but this place here is fantastic. I am Thai myself and got to talk to the manager which was Thai as well and go to learn more about the place. The service was great everyone was very nice and had a warm welcome feeling. The food was even better me and my boyfriend loved every single thing we got! Would recommend going here:)

We would definitely come back here - *but* my only down notes were that it was extremely hot (we went at night so I can't even imagine what it must have been like during the day if I'm honest) and the miso broth for the ramen tasted a bit like minestrone vs traditional miso broth? I think maybe they gave us the wrong broth :X It was admittedly still pretty good though! I liked the udon better than the ramen noodles. I'l probably stick to getting sushi next time :)

This place used to be really good but I just went there and it was quite an underwhelming experience. The soda was flat first of all. I ordered spicy tuna roll and added cream cheese. The rolls that I got were definitely not the spicy tuna rolls but they were okay and I was hungry so I didn't send them back. For a dollar up charge for cream cheese per roll that really wasn't a lot and not what I am come to expect and have frankly had there in the past. I ordered a Boston roll as well and I found it to not be very fresh. The price for value was also very low in my opinion. I'm not sure what happened or what changed at the place but unfortunately they lost a customer today.

Walked in because the sign out front was clear and said they had lunch specials from 11-3 we decided to try it out as it was 2:30 after getting upstairs we were acknowledged by woman in front and was seated seemed ok so far. But we then waited for someone to come back almost 10 minutes later told her we were each going to have the lunch special if the day and was then told they stopped that at 2pm. I know the sign clearly stated 3pm but she said they couldn't do it. We left but then BF called and asked for manager and told him of the situation that transpired he didn't seem to care until he was told we were leaving a review letting others know, he then said that he would honor it like he was doing me a favor. Hate to break it to you but your restaurant is a dime a dozen in that area there's more choices than just your place. Looking at other reviews I'm glad I never got food. We WON'T BE GOING BACK!!

Came to this place at 2:15 and clearly posted on thd sign outside said specials till 3 pm they said i was late so i told them and they ignored me. Took more time than usual to come to serve me. After i discussed it with a manager only after i told him i would review him did he decide to honor the special. By then it was too late. Wont go back

So glad I decided to check this place out. I thought maps took us to the wrong place because it's door is tucked in between two other businesses and the only sign I saw was a little sandwichboard sign, but the entrance leads to a cool cozy upstairs seating area that feels kind of like it's a secret spot. The food was excellent and the manager was extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back.

One of my favorite places to eat in Orlando. A hidden gem that I can’t help but rave about so others can try it too. The place is on the 2nd floor, they have stairs and elevator access. Street parking as well as a lot on the side. The service is always great, and super friendly — Shawn is awesome and too funny. The food is phenomenal. I’ve eaten here more times than I can count and haven’t had a bad meal. The stir fried soba noodles are like an Asian spaghetti. For apps you gotta try the Jackie Rangoon (trust me you won’t regret it). All in all a fantastic place to eat - if you’re in the area do yourself a favor and stop in. If your not in the area, it’s worth the drive, trust me.

The server was friendly, funny, and fast! Sean(shawn?) took amazing care of our party, and it was my first time there. He made sure i was taken care of and my order explained, and i was well tended to.

If anything, I'll be back just because of how great he was!

The food was rich with flavor and cooked to perfection.

Unfriendly, & unwelcoming indeed. It's bad enough I'm fat and had to climb two stories just to get here. After all that now I get attitude as a greeting by some young lady wearing glasses. I immediately realized I didn't want to dine in. I refused to be treated like dead fish, no pun intended. I won't be back.

Food is very filling and delicious. Steamed dumpling were not that great as they tasted bland. Warning about the ramen in the pot it comes in, stays warmer longer because the pot is hot also. Sushi was good, got the double salmon roll. Takoyaki overdone just a bit. Fried pork and rice was good!

Ive stopped by here for a couple years and it has always been my recommendation for a great little find in Orlando for good sushi.

Unfortunately as of recent, the plates from their menu are gone. Two whole pages of variety sushi plates have been taken out which was my usual go-to with company. The prices have also increased to almost unreasonable imo. The wait at my last visit was an hour for two bowls of ramen which wasn’t worth the wait from a very basic selection. I picked up the tab to about $80 for a salad, a roll, and two ramen bowls.

Bikuri is always a treat! Amazing food! I love how they have other food options other than sushi so it's always a safe option to bring friends and family! They have really great drink specials! I can definitely recommend the bonzai, one of my favorites. Everytime I've been here my service has always been super personable and definitely feel like family here. Love this spot.

It used to be our favorite sushi spot in Orlando. we even had a little tradition of going every valentine's day because we loved it so much. It had so much variety and great prices. the food was always amazing. Now they've removed almost half the menu, upped the prices, and even changed some of the rolls in order to upcharge you. want the original volcano roll? Cough up extra money for crab or get ready for the saddest sushi roll of your life. I dont know what happened, if they changed owners or management, but they are killing what used to be an amazing little hidden gem, and its really heart breaking.

Great value sushi. Restaurant is in the second floor of the building above sticky rice with a different atmosphere, almost feels like eating in a restaurant 10 years ago. Staff are extremely friendly, offering recommendations on popular dishes and personal favorites, and sushi / salad were well presented and fresh. Would highly recommend if in area and craving sushi.

The only downside was I forgot my to-go tea and didn't realize I had forgotten it until I had gotten back to work. I'll definitely be going back.

Amusing with the service, specially the sushi chef . I love to sit by the bar the chef is spectacular 🥰 I go 2 to 3 times a week 😋 so good and friendly. Totally recommend

Had nigiri sushi and it was disappointing. Ordered hamachi, blue fin tuna, scallop, and shrimp. Rice was very compacted and chewey - rice portion was too large as well. Fish was modest sized and although not bad, it could have been fresher. Disappointed because I've read good reviews about the sushi.

Prices were reasonable (I believe $7 for two nigiri pieces of hamachi and $10 for the blue fin tuna, for example), but maybe it was a bad night. Might come back to try some of their hot dishes.

What a fabulous non suspecting find!!! I lived in Japan for over a year and loved the food. We have looked all over Orlando for certain dishes and found them at this jewel. Food and service were amazing!!! I can't find enough words that describe our awesome experience. Great job!!! Hats off!!! Well done!!!! Taste and authenticity, TOP notch!!!

I came here because of the reviews. I came during happy hour. BTW the sushi Isn't a big discount. It's only 1.50 off only the ones listed in the paper. I think the sushi was small n dry. I have had better. The salad only had one choice of dressing. The decor is cute and vibing. I did enjoy the drinks 🍸but I don't think I will be back.

FYI if you are wheel chair bond call ahead to get the elevator to work .

Myself and a friend went here last night. What a terrible experience. Our normal sushi place was full so we decided to try something different. What a mistake. We went in and was immediately seated, with menus. The place was not packed, however there was a large table finishing up in the back. We sat looking at the menu and waiters and bus people continued to walk past us. Never greeting, never saying someone will be right with u. We picked what we would have to drink and eat in this time. Still no one! We sat at the table for more than 15 minutes. With no greeting or anything. We decided to leave. One Waiter seen us get up and never asked was there a problem. The service lately has been horrible at places. If you want business and tips please provide service. Maybe having a manager out walking the floor checking on guest would help. What a disappointment.

I got chicken tempura & crab Rangoon. The meal was overall okay. They charged extra for spicy mayo. The crab Rangoon didn’t have enough stuffing also.

Pretty good sushi on Colonial.

The Volcano deluxe came with a cute fire in the middle, made of isopropyl alcohol and salt (just a garnish).

The combos are pretty good too, nothing to crave and rave about but the portions are reasonable.

Someone I knew got food poisoning from here, and almost ended up in the hospital. The least a restaurant could do is check the order history and issue a refund, but it seems the business is too cheap to do so and won’t accept responsibility

AMAZING! This is our new favorite spot. The noodles were the absolute best I’ve ever had, full of flavor and Beautifully plated

I drive over 10 mi to go to this particular sushi place with my friends. The staff is always been pleasant over the years and the values for the roles are outstanding. It might be a little hard to find but is well worth the treasure when you do.

So we went here for lunch with my daughter where we ordered some sushi but some of it didn’t smell or tasted right. So we informed our waiter, who was an older Asian gentlemen around his 50s about the sushi and was told that we would not get our money back for it because we ate too much of it. Note that we only ate one piece from each sushi plate we had an issue with. He argued with us and rudely told us that this was what the manager in the store told him. So after our lunch, we talked to another employee at the restaurant to speak to the manager to discuss our experience but was told he wasn’t here today. Shortly afterwards, our waiter started running towards us and yelling on what we were trying to do and told us the manager just left, which was a lie.

So in summary, if you want rotten tasting sushi, pay for it and then be rudely confronted by the wait staff, then come to Bikkuri. Otherwise, there are a lot better sushi places to go to in Orlando than Bikkuri. Will never come back here again paying for overpriced sushi that isn’t fresh.

My first time dining here was a great experience. I'm from Jacksonville visiting and this place was highly recommended. My server Rene was very welcoming and attentive. The sushi platter was super fresh and the price was on point. I will definitely be back to dine next time I'm in town.

I tried the asparagus beef yakitori and it was alright--its beef wrapped around half of an asparagus. I probably won't get it again. The hurricane sushi roll was tasty, though when I tried the real crab filling by itself, it didn't have any crab flavor. But I think I would like to visit again to try the other sushi rolls.
The awkward experience I had was when I entered, I was told to sit wherever. I understood that as I seat myself. But then another employee saw me seated and said that they seat their customers. Since I was by myself, I had tunnel vision and did not see the waiting chairs by the entrance. Maybe I just misunderstood since the place was loud, but yeah, I was very uncomfortable being called out. My actual server was very friendly though and took very good care of me!

Update: came here again to try some other dishes. I waited by the door this time and a waiter pointed me to where to sit. Ordered the shrimp tempura ramen (I think it was miso?) and it was very salty by the time I was about 75% finished with it. But overall tasty and service was great! 👍

ORIGINAL 2018: Hidden gem! So good, amazing deal on the amount of food for the price. I love their pad thai & sushi rolls - their veggie roll & garlic roll are my favorite but everything on their appetizer menu is great, and the udon noodles are another good option for an entrée. It has quickly become our favorite place to go out to!

Recently went here on a team dinner with several people from out of town. Bikkuri has been around for a long time and their food has been consistently excellent. This visit was no exception. The menu looks daunting but so far everything I’ve tried on it has been good.

This has been my favorite sushi spot for years. I've brought almost all of my family here. I love that they have happy hour every day. I always get great service from the staff. By far, the best sushi I’ve had the pleasure of eating, in all of Florida! This small second floor restaurant is a gem in the midst of a corroded treasure chest. Clean, quaint, pleasant atmosphere. The presentation of sushi was average but our other meal had an outstanding appearance. The flavors all stand out so well and mesh for a wonderful experience. The textures of the combinations were such an enjoyable part of eating here, that we can’t wait to come back again and explore more of the menu.

So I've had sushi just about everywhere around the State of Florida and nothing could prepare Me for the overwhelming Flavor and Fresh ingredients that Bikkuri had to offer. I was actually taken back quite a bit that I've never ever stopped by this place. I have driven down this road so many times and missed it. It's honestly a hidden Gem amongst sushi restaurants. If You get a chance stop by here. The price point for what You get is so reasonable that I went in for another roll after I had Their 4 sushi roll tray. Even the staff is impressive, They are really outgoing and kind. Truly an experience I will never forget.

I've been here a couple of times but haven't until now written a review. Normally I get Udon Noodle, Ramen Noodle, Fried Rice or Fried Rice Noodle and different combinations of sushi. I've yet to order something that I've had to send back or did not like. Every time I have gone, their chef is always on point. When the restaurant gets busy, which it many times does, it may take a while to get seated. Any food item I've previously listed, I can definitely recommend. For the Udon Noodle or Ramen Noodle, add a boiled egg, it's extra but worth it.
