Tried 7 dishes and was very impressed with the quality, freshness, and flavor of the food. 100% would recommend and will be returning regularly.

I cannot praise this place enough! They are challenged by the construction that is going on right in front of them but they pulling it off by a great customer service and delicious dishes and drinks. We did a happy hour a couple of months ago and Miami spice dinner yesterday. Both were above expectations.

A million stars. Beautiful restaurant. The staff, especially Eloy and Hayes, were absolutely incredible and sweet. They are all so attentive and genuinely care about your experience at the establishment. Came here for miami spice and the options were amazing. The sushi was so fresh, and they gave us some extras to try that were sooo good I can go on and on. I'll recommend this place forever from now on!

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Miami. The staff is incredibly attentive (I dropped my chopsticks and they came with an extra set before I could even pick them up, they held doors open and were so kind). Besides that the food was so yummy, and they made sure to adhere to the restrictions of my gluten free siblings. The ambience is stunning with outside seating and not too much noise. The manager came by to our table and made sure we were enjoying the dinner. Overall incredible experience.

I’ve never felt compelled to leave a review for a restaurant before. But this place was just incredible. I’m relatively new to sushi and I was visiting the area and had found this place due to its high ratings. I can attend the reviews are not overhyping. We encountered quite a few staff members and each one was incredibly nice and helpful. As I said I’m pretty new to sushi so was not quite sure what to go for. The waiter was great at explaining the items and a few other staff members really came through with recommendations. It’s very pleasant to try something that may not have caught your eye on the menu but is actually incredible (get the green tea passion fruit drink). The food was delicious and fresh, the atmosphere was beautiful and I can’t even say enough nice things about the staff. You can tell they care about this business and are genuinely kind people. I can’t wait to come back and try new things especially an omakase meal.

I recently discovered @sushibichi located at 7330 Ocean Terrace in Miami Beach. This Japanese-inspired sun, surf & sushi beachside sanctuary is located just foot steps from the @miamibeachbandshell and has great happy hour specials and a few #vegan options too, and I not only enjoyed the ambiance, but I thought the food was amazing too!
The Crispy Bichi Mushrooms with a zesty tofu dip, was a phenomenal appetizer, as the mushrooms were super crispy and great for dipping in the zesty tofu sauce, and it was loved by vegans and non vegans alike, highly recommend.
The Japanese Eggplant Skewers
served with a miso glaze and chives were phenomenal! The eggplant was grilled and soft and melted in my mouth and was really the star of the show, the miso glaze was perfect on this and I would definitely get this again.
The King Oyster Mushroom & Asparagus with miso glaze and shichimi were also incredible, the veggies were grilled to perfection and the miso was the perfect dressing for this dish too.
These Items along with a lot of other vegan options and a great happy hour menu with imaginative cocktails, make this restaurant a great option… And that’s #myprerogative #plantbasedprerogative #pbp

Amazing new addition to Miami Beach! Everything from the ambiance, food, drinks and staff goes above and beyond my expectations every time. Special shout-out to the friendly and knowledgeable staff- Tritan, Kristen, Gustavo, Josh, Rui and James. Bryon, the executive chef, really outdid himself on the food. The sake menu is extensive and impressive, but if you’re overwhelmed the staff is more than happy to recommend something to your liking. Would definitely check out their happy hour as well! Nothing but great things to say, definitely go check them out!

Ross was our server and he was very attentive, careful to explain each menu item and make recommendations. My party and I had no reservation and were immediately say upon arrival, during the week. Rui the AGM also checked-in on us during our visit, made conversation and overall was keen on making my parties first visit to bichi a great experience. Thank you Rui and team!

We had our 12m old with, which made our experience a little chaotic 😉. All the servers were helping us by playing peekaboo while we ate some of the most flavorful sushi rolls and crisp sake. Thank you all!!!!

We've been coming to Sushi Bichi since it opened, and consistently, the food is excellent, as is the service. Highly recommend any of the dishes, but some of the standouts have been the Grilled Octopus, Crispy Rice With Spicy Tuna, and the Hamatchi Belly Aburi. Their prices are quite reasonable for the quality of food and service you get especially in comparison with other restaurants in Miami.

Bichi is a great place with all outdoor seating. But the area is covered with a canopy, and there are a generous amount of fans placed around the establishment, so no need to worry about baking in the sun while you try to enjoy a meal. And in the rare event of cold weather in Miami Beach, such as we are experiencing now, Sushi Bichi has gone to the extent of owning portable gas powered heaters like those that you see up north on the patios during the winter season. They don’t let the shortcomings of their outdoor-only set up damper your experience.

I am a regular visitor at this establishment, and I sit at the bar, even though I am no longer a drinker. I do this because I like the vibe and energy at a bar, especially one as well thought-out and staffed as Sushi Bichi’s. This is not to say that the regular dining area is not a wonderful experience. I have dined at the tables on two occasions when I was with friends and associates who do not prefer to sit at bars.

I know a few of the staff members by name, and I have some personal favorites, but no need to point them out as the entire staff at this establishment is, and I could say this with confidence, made up of wonderful people. They all seem to love their job, and that alone goes a very long way.

Many people enjoy the happy hour, but for me, I prefer the regular menu items as I am never too concerned about price when I walk into an establishment to have a dining experience.

My favorite items are the Bichi Burger, the Chicken Karagge Sandwich, the hamachi tiradito (I believe this is correct), the Rainbow Roll, the Pork Skewers, pretty much all of the nigiri/sashimi options, the Smores chocolate dessert, and the Fried Plantain dessert (both served with ice cream). Yes I am a warrior and I have ordered this all in one sitting 🤣.

The matcha hot tea is also amazing.

I am going to try and eat out less in 2025, but avoiding Bichi altogether will not be possible.

I am not one to leave many reviews, it takes a combination of value, quality, and culture of a business for me to leave a review, either for a very exceptional or very unpleasant experience. This experience was very exceptional. From the way I was attended to by hosts, managers, servers, on a very busy night, to the quality of the sushi and appetizers, which were both fresh and delicious, to the ambience of the venue, it made this meal one of the best meals I have had in recent memory. On top of that when I looked at the bill, I was very pleased with my total. Thanks for making my night out so special in Miami Beach.

Blown away by it's private location on the boardwalk. The service was excellent, food quality was top of the line, and the ambiance was relaxing yet upbeat and with great energy. The seating is only outside seating which includes a nice breeze from the beach as you sip on nigiri (unfiltered rice sake) and eat unique sushi. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This is a south beach treasure. They are not only serving five star food but have the best service I have had in the last 6 months even compared to NYC. They take their time to know your needs and really focus on your experience. Eloy was an amazing server giving us suggestions to create an amazing tapas tasting experience. The food had classic sushi preparations with a south beach twist focusing on local flavors and Hispanic twist. A few of our favorites were the Yellowtail Tiradito, Crispy Rice with Tuna, and the Sakezo Roll. We also indulged in a S’mores dessert and it was amazing! A play of texture and flavor. Can’t praise this place enough!

This restaurant somehow combined Japanese sheer quality
with the western flavours and creativity. Every dish that we tried is like mind blowing. I would emphatically recommend it! absolute treasure of Miami beach.
We were in Japan very recently so the bar was very high to me and they exploded the bar. Thumbs up to service, location and overall atmosphere as well. Wish I could give 15 stars on google.

I have been a fan of sushi for over 40 years. Also have traveled to Japan several times where I have had wonderful sushi experiences including Tsukiji Market. This restaurant is a must if you like creative sushi yet following traditional styles. There is also a Brazilian side to the restaurant but I wouldn’t say it is a fusion menu. Great drink/cocktail offerings and an interesting and complete sake and wine list. Quality products used throughout all menu offerings with distinctive presentations. Location has outdoor seating option that is pleasant and comfortable. The service is attentive and very friendly without being assertive. Management and owner are visible and caring for all their guests. Hard to recommend items when all were right on point. I’m looking forward to a return visit already. Thank you Destiny and John for making a memorable dining experience.

Absolutely phenomenal. My boyfriend and I popped in during Milton and were impressed by the outstanding service and ambiance. The atmosphere was so inviting and comfortable, making our visit truly enjoyable. We appreciated the attention to detail and the friendly demeanor of the staff, James and Hayes were incredible. We let them choose our course and left saying that was one of the best dinners we ever had. Food was amazing

This place is absolutely unbelievable. My friends and I stumbled upon it almost a year ago when we were looking for a new sushi spot and we have been obsessed ever since. The food is divine and consistently delicious. The service and atmosphere is always fantastic. The staff is so friendly and the manager, Hayes, brings amazing energy to this spot! If there’s any place your looking to go out to eat, it should be Sushi Bichi!! I really could not recommend it more.

Can’t speak much about the food as I didn’t actually eat here (but from other reviews it looks incredible) - but I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to James, who was working the front on 10/16. I had my wallet stolen somewhere on Miami Beach and was tracking it via AirTag. It lead me to the vicinity of this restaurant, and I stopped by to see if someone had used my cards here / turned it in, etc. Not only was everyone so kind about the whole situation, but James stepped away from his job and walked around with me for a while to help me look for my wallet. He gave me his business card and asked to keep in touch so that he could check in on me and the situation. What SERVICE and what a lovely person to have working for your restaurant. They deserve all the business in the world, and I can assure you they really care about their customers (and random strangers, too) and had I had my wallet, I would have DEFINITELY eaten here :) Thanks again, James!

Wowza!! It felt serendipitous how me and my man came across this gem of a place for his bday dinner. I was dancing in my seat pretty much from the get with a personally curated omakase experience with the kind, knowledgeable Triton at the bar. Paired with a beautiful bottle of sake, we felt as if on a cloud! The phone did not eat first in this case- but trust that it was a meal to remember! Did I mention the incredibly lovely owners? I could listen to Hayes speak of food and sake all night long! And James feels like a new friend! Cant wait to make this our regular spot when in Miami! Thank you!!

SushiBichi is beyond exceptional! I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and the food and service have always been incredible, but last night they truly outdid themselves. I arrived on crutches due to a broken leg, and the entire team went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Their kindness was overwhelming—Hayes, one of the amazing employees, even offered to give me a ride after my Uber driver dropped me off at the wrong location! I can’t express how grateful I am for their care and generosity. The food is always fantastic, but the level of personal attention and warmth here is what makes SushiBichi truly special. I can’t recommend them enough!

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Tonight was the best restaurant experience we’ve ever had! We sat at the bar. The food and the ambiance were wonderful, but the bartending staff was 10/10. Joanna & Triton made our night. We barely glanced at the menu and took all of their recommendations and nothing disappointed. Moreover, they are great people. We had the best conversations all night long. We’d planned to stay for one drink, then go elsewhere for dinner, but we stayed ponied up at the bar for 4 hours and every cocktail and dish was better than the last. We were greeted by management and the chef and everyone was a pleasure. Wish we lived locally and could visit this place more. Loved. It.

Absolutely loved this place!!

I was blown away by the food! They have such an interesting blend of well-chosen cuisines that it feels like much more than your standard sushi restaurant. We even got to chat with the manager Rui for a while. He took great care of us, walked us through the menu and made wonderful suggestions. The vegetarian options really stood out to me as well- they looked delicious and varied.
They have a stellar atmosphere too - it’s a perfect place to lounge and have a good conversation while feeling very close to the ocean. The staff was infinitely warm and attentive, from the second we parked up until we left!

Recommend 110% and can’t wait to visit again 🥳

Delicious. Beautiful. The staff are absolute pros. The dishes were out of this world tastey. I asked the server to bring the dishes he'd order if he was dinning. He got very excited for the challenge and didn't disappoint. I highly recommend this place.

A local hangout spot, they have some of the best servers and bartenders. Everyone is friendly and the outdoor environment is unbeatable in the Miami Beach area! The food is exceptional, especially their Crispy Rice with Tuna and their Choclo Street Corns which are addictive.

I found a staff to be very very attentive to every detail especially Javier our waiter. I've been in hospitality business in Miami over 35 yrs. And I have never found the owner/ partners Hayes an James to be so attentive to each and every one of there guests. This local sushi restaurant is over the top!! A must visit!! 🥂

Holy friken moly this place is total fire!!🔥James the proprietor (and Maynard James Keenan doppelgänger IYKYK = huge compliment) is amazing!! His staff and entire team including Tritton, Arielle and Hayes are over the top in their service and hospitality. Unbelievable hospitality and food quality. This is my 2nd time to Miami and also to Sushi Bichi. It was a wonderful as the 1st time! The sushi is extremely fresh, delicate and delicious! The dishes are creative and the combinations are unique to this restaurant. The vibe is on point. Casual yet still sexy. It’s outdoors but I haven’t minded that either time as you feel the breeze coming off the ocean. James and Hayes are the hosts with the most! They came over and greeted me, introduced themselves and asked how my experience was. That is the sign of dedicated management. Anytime I’m in Miami, Sushi Bichi will always be a dinner spot and I highly recommend you try it too! You won’t be disappointed…promise!

This was our second time dining here and we will definitely return again. The food and service were top notch. My husband had the Chicken Adobo, which was delicious and was an ample serving. I had the rainbow roll and salmon sashimi. Everything was fresh and yummy. Plan to return again next time we are in Miami

The food, service and atmosphere are top notch. Everything about this place is very good, the servers are incredible kind and really do care about customers satisfaction. We sat outside and the atmosphere and the surroundings were amazing. The food was outstanding, like a 10/10. My only complaint is that the portion sizes are really small and pretty expensive. But other than that, this a very good place.

Wow! What a find! I came across Sushi Bichi almost by accident but I'm so glad I did. Hands down, the best sushi and food I've had in Miami in a loooong time. It's off the main thoroughfare of dining so it feels secluded in the best way - not bougie. The al fresco dining works! Came in July and wasn't hot - their fans work wonders. Our waiter, Gustavo, was amazing. He made some
Suggestions and they were all top notch. Best service and ambiance. You will love this place. Just go. Trust me.

Seated right away to an outdoor table on Sunday evening around 730pm. Server was spectacularly friendly. However we ordered sushi to start, didn’t come for over an hour - the chefs were slammed prioritizing take out orders. Then we put in our main course order and it came out before the sushi!!!
So then we had hot main plates with the sushi when it finally came.

Rolls were sloppily rolled and fish was tasteless. Decent presentation.

Outdoor Atmosphere has potential to be beautiful once construction is complete - thankfully weather cooperated with a light breeze, and no rain. Would be seemingly horrendous otherwise !

On a final note, I woke up with horrendous watery diarrhea the next day so I’m not sure if this was the fish…

My cousin and I were looking for a sushi place nearby an event we attended, and wow, this place did not disappoint! The food was fresh and delicious, came out at a reasonable time, and the price was doable. The attentiveness of the staff and manager, Hayes Swope, was outstanding. It's hard to find a good spot in Miami that provides great service and food, but this place did exactly that. I can not wait to return. We had frozen pina coladas, salmon tiradito, crispy rice, and 2 sushi rolls (I forgot the names), but everything was terrific. They have some construction going in front of them right now, but that isn't a reason to check out this spot; you won't regret it...hence the amazing reviews!!

I stumbled among this gem on my vacation. Fully outside seating next to the beach. The bartenders were both friendly and explained the menu to me since it was my first time here. Food was full of flavor and you have many choices to pick from. Once the construction is done it’s going to be perfect to grab a roll and cocktail turn hit the beach. The happy hour menu is packed with flavorful budget friendly choices. Ask for Joey/Joanna her energy is bright.

Amazing food and customer service! The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. Rui and his team were very attentive and made my birthday dinner special. One of my favorites was the crispy tuna rice and the rainbow roll. The location and ambiance was perfect too - I would come again in a heart beat!

The food here was absolutely wonderful! My mom got something a little too healthy for her taste and the owner, Hayes observed this and took it upon himself to remove it from our bill! I have never experienced this was and was insanely impressed by the observation he had. We felt extremely bad because the food wasn’t bad at all, mom just can’t eat something that’s not deep fried haha. Our waiter, Gustavo was also amazing. We left a very good tip and will certainly be coming back. Overall great service and great food. Thank you everyone for the amazing service and hospitality <3

Absolutely love this place! Gustavo was fantastic. Reminded me so much of the Sushi Samba days. Just memorable food and service. Every single thing that I put in my mouth was delightful. Best sushi ever. Definitely try the omakase. The desserts were also fantastic. James has outdone himself. Can’t wait for Ocean Terrace to be complete. This will be one of the anchor restaurants on the street!

We went to celebrate our daughter's graduation and were so pleased with everything - the food, ambience, and service were amazing, even as it was almost midnight. The salmon rolls were great and we would have gotten more if the kitchen wasn't closed already! We received the food quickly and the deserts were delicious. Loved it! Loved!! Is there a better sushi spot on Miami Beach? I doubt it. The service is so lovely and personable. Ask for Haze, the GM. He’ll swing by, and just the nicest guy. But that’s not what I wanted to write about —- the food!! It’s really, really good. Just go and then tell your friends. These guys built the Sushi Samba brand. Celebrated my birthday at Sushi Bichi last weekend and it was an amazing experience! The food was phenomenal, and the staff were very attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. My favorites were the ceviche and tiradito, my husband loved his salmon main dish. Highly recommend this place for any special occasion or just a great meal! Also they have good choices for kids.

Other restaurants should study Sushi Bichi to understand why they are so successful. Their food is fresh and prepared by a talented chef and kitchen. All of the staff are attentive, polite and appear to love their work. One of my favorite places to enjoy!

By far the best sushi I’ve ever had in Miami. Their crispy rice is my favorite menu item but they have a little mix of everything. Steak, salads, sushi, and phenomenal dessert. My Miami trip isn’t complete without a stop for dinner at Sushi Bichi. I’m so glad I came across this spot and always look forward to the next time I go. The employees make you feel comfortable and the atmosphere is special and intimate. 110% recommend!!

This place is absolutely amazing! Food and drinks are great, but the real value is the staff. Every single one of them. Their forever positive attitude, smile, politness, etc can turn a bad day all around.
I have to highlight the lovely Johanna, who really goes above and beyond to her guests, and you can feel it, she does it so naturally. I hope all this lovely people are treated very well by the management 😉 (I really think they are). I can't wait to return! (Hopefully very soon)

Sushi Bichi is as good as it gets in North Beach (actually, in all of Miami). Quality ingredients; attentive, lovely staff; chill ambience; and fantastic value, I wish I lived next door to SB.

Our party went with the intention of trying many dishes — and we did. Salmon tirado, tuna ceviche, fresh oysters on the half shell…all were outstanding, especially the salmon tirado because of its unique flavor. We’d never tried anything quite like it…

On to sushi, the Maryland crab roll was excellent, as was the crispy rice spicy tuna. This last dish was as good as I have ever tried, anywhere. The churrasco with black beans and rice was cooked perfectly and was clearly a quality piece of steak. Especially interesting was the collard green side which was expertly seasoned with garlic and salt. I could eat that everyday, which is a lot to say, because it’s green and a vegetable and not fried.

The ambience was perfect — relaxed with a great Samba soundtrack and a full, but not packed, bar. The staff was exceptional. Our server — Camila — not only made great suggestions (just follow them) but seemed to be right there every time we needed her. She was a pleasure each time she came by and went above and beyond. Do yourself a big favor and make sure your party is in her station; she’s that good.

Finally, dessert. The banana cream pie was as good as we’ve tried anywhere. Clearly very fresh and all portions were generous, with the pie easily being enough for two. Throw in an interesting amuse sent over by the chef (a seafood arancini — that should be on the menu in the future and if it is, order it), and it was a pretty perfect meal.

No fusion, no foam, no fancy nonsense. SB just keeps it real — great food, engaged staff, little touches here and there that show careful thought, and surprising value. Loved it.

Sushi Bichi’s name sounds so unserious, but don’t let that fool you. They are very serious about food. This dining experience was very refreshing. There were so many hints of lime/lemon, crunchy fresh vegetables, and lots of flavor. I was inspired by this meal and will be back. Definitely try it if you’re craving seafood. Their menu is much more than sushi.

The sushi reminded me of grocery store sushi but was 6 times the price. Totally sub par. I wouldn't have thought this place was worth the price at half what they charged honestly.
Service was fine with only minor issues. The ambiance is not what the pictures make it look like. It's fine but it's not great.

The food and service was amazing! We tried so many items. The octopus app, the sticky rice, miso salmon, the Bichi burger, the Brazilian sides, pork skewer, and garlic rice.

For drinks we had the muscat, espresso martini and the Tequila cocktail (I forget the name)

The service was amazing!!!! Javier, our server was great! He gave us really good recommendations and was very attentive. The owner even took the time to speak to our table and brought us dessert! (Inspired by his son🥹)

10 stars if I could!!

We travel all over and this is one of our top places we have had sushi. Juan Carlos our server was very attentive and brought ice water for our dog Odin (who loves ice). His recommendations were spot on and the drinks were delicious. Food came quickly as well. Happy to see them doing so well so quickly. The great m reviews are well deserved.
