Such an amazing experience. Came for our 10th anniversary and though I had a mild heart attack when I couldn’t find the place (don’t be me, read your confirmation emails carefully), the rest of the night was perfect. Best sushi I’ve ever had, amazing atmosphere and if you are lucky like we were to get paired with an awesome group, it’ll be a spectacular night. Worth every penny.

Made a mistakenly same day reservation and was only notified once that night 5 minutes before seating that I appeared to be a no show . I Didnt see the text until 2 hours later and then I responded and tried to call the next day without response . When I finally spoke to the proprietor to see if he would apply the charge to the day I was supposed to come he yelled that there was basically nothing he could do about it and it was just my tough luck ; so he lost a potential repeat customer customer and my bar tab for the night and I tip generously . Never ever treated so rudely about an honest mistake and no attempt to remedy the situation .

I went on a Friday night after Valentine’s Day and it was the perfect setting and felt very exclusive and intimate. We surprised friends there and had such a great time . Let’s just say that this is the best omakase place I’ve ever been too!! This is not my first time I was here for my birthday the first time I was in awe. It was spectacular I mean it! Wow 🤩 I had high expectations for the omakase dinner and they were definitely exceeded! I loved the speakeasy experience of getting an exclusive password and then walking to the red door to be let into the swanky bar area!

We started with champagne and sake at the bar before entering the intimate dining room where charismatic Chef Sebastian served us melt in the mouth bluefin, tuna, sushi, caviar, scallops, wagyu and more! Every dish was flavorful, well-balanced and delightful on the palate.

From the incredibly fresh, delicious, and impeccably prepared food to the elegant atmosphere, it was an unforgettable experience!

The best dining experience I’ve had in Miami, hands down! Every element, from the sexy music to the elegant dining room, seamlessly blended together for an unforgettable dinner.

Experience/Atmosphere: I don’t want to give too much away because the journey is part of the overall fun. I will say that once you arrive at the restaurant, you’ll receive a delicious welcome drink from the talented and hospitable Papi. I opted for champagne and had a nice chat with him until the other guests arrived.

Once you enter the dining room, you take your seat and relax as each new dish is prepared and served to you. I loved how the presentation of each dish became more elaborate throughout the dinner. There were also some nice, interactive elements. It was understated entertainment. It had plenty of Miami style and flair but without being obnoxious or over the top! Chef Sebastian is incredible and extremely knowledgeable. He described each course in detail and welcomed additional questions from guests.

If you’re a nerd/foodie like me, you’ll enjoy learning about the origin of each dish and details about its preparation. I also appreciated that it’s an intimate but comfortable setting with music set at the perfect volume so that you can chat with a small group of other guests. I was the only guest that opted for a farewell drink. I selected sake, Papi served it up, and it was divine!

Food: I’ve heard the menu often changes, but my dinner included tuna tartare, quail egg, wagyu beef, and plenty of caviar, among other elements. I assume many of these ingredients are on the menu regularly. This may go without saying, but the menu here is VERY elevated and, therefore, will only be enjoyed by those with a more elevated palate :). Every single dish was perfect and completely drool-worthy. Flavor, texture, and temperature were all on point from beginning to end. Portion-wise, I’m generally a light eater, so I was about to burst by the end. My guess is you’ll definitely leave feeling satisfied. I know I did!

Overall: Unlike most dining experiences in Miami, this is actually worth every penny. The quality and care taken in the preparation and presentation reminds me of my dining experiences in Paris. It was a pleasure to be in the presence of culinary artists, creatives, and hostesses who have taken the time to craft such a unique and yummy experience. I absolutely cannot wait for my next visit!

Nossa Omakase offers an unrivaled gastronomic experience. Prior to our reservation, we entered Bar Nossa, the restaurant’s speakeasy bar which offers a wide variety of Japanese whiskeys and sake. There, our group enjoyed incredible barrel-aged old fashioneds in a cool atmosphere with bossa nova tunes playing in the background. We, along with our fellow diners, were then escorted to the omakase room for dinner. Having dined at many of the most highly rated New York City omakase restaurants, I can confidently state that Nossa’s 20-course meal was the most unique, unforgettable omakase experience I have ever had. The first several opening courses were traditional nigiris, including extremely fresh toro and scallop, both of which were flown directly from Japan. As the meal progressed, we enjoyed unique dishes, including a fun yet elevated Japanese-style egg sandwich and a delicious bite of otoro tartare on crispy rice. Chef Sebastian is truly an expert at his craft. Furthermore, his witty banter and dialogue with guests created a friendly and fun environment that made the experience more memorable than your run-of-the-mill omakase. After the meal, we made our way back to Bar Nossa, where we ended our amazing meal with a nightcap expertly prepared by Nossa’s talented mixologist.

My fiancé and I are true omakase connoisseurs. Traveling around the globe for the best omakase experience is one of our hobbies. After countless experiences and hundreds of bites of the finest, freshest chutoro (my favorite) later… we are lucky to say our absolute favorite omakase experience is right in our backyard at Nossa Omakase in Miami Beach. We are frequent customers now, but I’ll share my first experience as it was truly the most special. Nossa is a speakeasy type of restaurant (my favorite). We entered the KOA poke restaurant to get the secret password then we were instructed to go down a “hidden” alley to enter the restaurant. As we were walking down the alley I couldn’t wait to see what came next. We knocked on the door, gave the password then were welcomed into a sexy, dim lit bar with an aperitif to commence the experience. There we got to mingle with the other guests, have some laughs and build up anticipation for what was to come next. We were told the chef was ready for us, and we made our way down the hallway awaiting to enter the dining room. When we entered the dining room I was in awe. Smokiness, a beautifully plated first course, chefs hard at work, and of course, Sebastian welcoming us all to Nossa. We sat in our assigned seats at a U-shaped omakase counter in excitement and as conversations were dwindling down, Sebastian introduced us to our first course- and so on. Every. Single. Dish was absolutely incredible. The thoughtfulness put in to every ingredient and how it would compliment the other, the highest quality ingredients; rare fish and delicacies. Every dish is composed with so much thought and care with a unique taste. the NOSSA EGG MCMUFFIN *mic drop* . I mean… there’s a reason why we love this place and choose this restaurant over any other in Miami and over any other omakase we’ve experienced. The food is incomparable, Sebastian is incomparable, he is focused on giving his guests the best quality ingredients rather than shaving margins and giving a bunch of “fluff” like many places in Miami. Curating these dishes is a true passion for him. the rest of the staff is so kind, accommodating and attentive. My fiancé has a lot of food intolerances and allergies, and we are confident he is in safe hands at Nossa. I don’t want to spoil the experience because it is an exceptional surprise, but from start from finish- it is unforgettable. Nossa may be the most expensive omakase in Miami, but don’t let the price mislead you. it is also is the best value with the highest quality ingredients highlighted throughout the entire dining experience. If you happen to be lucky enough to discover this gem, it is a hands down must try. Cancel your reservation at the overrated Michelin star omakase you have booked and be genuinely impressed at Nossa.

One of the best and most memorable omakase experiences of my life. I have been to Masa in New York many times and Nossa can easily go head to head with them. Besides the taste and the artistic presentation of the food, the ambience is unlike any other omakase experiences. Chef Sebastian is engaging and has many great stories to share. By the end of the evening many of the guests were exchanging phone numbers and became friends!!?

Went for my birthday on a Tuesday with my girlfriend, we had a terrific time and experience there. We instantly got the feeling of exclusivity when walking into the poke shop as we were given an envelope that had instructions on how to find the true location of where we would be dining. After our mini scavenger hunt and using code words, we finally entered a very vibrant yet soothing bar as we awaited the next part of the experience. Once there, we were offered complimentary champagne or wine and waited to be moved to the real fun, THE FOOD. I will say I ordered a few drinks from their menu and wasn't too pleased about the taste of creation of the drinks nor the price of it. I ordered a Japanese old fashion that had way too many fruits in it. Not sure why mine came with a lemon, lime, AND orange. The complimentary sake and champagne were much better tasting and it was included in our fee already so no extra charge. The real reason to go is for the food and the 1 on 1 experience you get to have with the chef. Chef Sebastian did a fantastic job preparing and explaining each meal and along with keeping the experience fun and educational as I learned a lot about Japanese fish and how to cook them that I did not know before (Not that I could ever remember all the steps or even begin to know how to approach cooking the meal). All in all, other than the drinks bot being quite to my expectations, between being able to meet great people due to the setting and hospitality of the chef along with a fantastic array and selection of Japanese nigiri and many other dishes that were also included by the chef, I can say Nossa Omakase will definitely be a place I return to and wouldn't mind paying the $175 fee per person charge again in the future.

I went with a dear friend for his birthday at Nossa on Thursday and had an amazing time. The entire experience was definitely one to remember. The environment of the restaurant is dark and mysterious, edgy and luxurious, which elevated my anticipation of the meal to come. The complimentary glass of champagne was a nice welcome.

When it was time to dine, all the guests for the evening were led down a low lit hallway to the dining room. When the frosted glass doors slid open, they revealed a beautiful chef's table situated in the center of the room. All the lighting, colors, and decoration point your eyes toward the chef as if he was on a stage.

The restaurant is small, only a few seats around the table. This was nice because you get to know about your fellow guests. Everyone in attendance was so fun and personable.

Now for the food. I will confess, I do not normally even like sushi or crave Asian food of similar styles. However, I loved every dish that was served to me. They hit all the senses - sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste. Other reviews have gone into detail about the various dishes and how good they are so I don't need to. I just want to echo those points and simply express gratitude to the chef for opening my horizons to enjoy these dishes I would not normally have.

The showmanship is just right. The chef jokes with the guests and shows off his techniques but there is nothing kitschy or cliché about it. If anyone is concerned about that, let me allay your fears.

There were three birthdays being celebrated that night, one of which was my friend's. The restaurant treated us all with a delicious coconut ice cream topped with caviar and finished with a cloud of gold dust. Seeing my friend light up from the gold dust finish made me so happy. Everyone who had a birthday walked away feeling extra special.

Finally, a word about cocktails. The Japanese whiskey old fashioned was stunningly good. I had two of them. They source some very old and rare Japanese whiskeys to make their cocktails so it is not to be missed. You must try!

Would I recommend Nossa to others? Absolutely! They limit reservations to a max of two people so go with a close friend or loved one on a special occasion. It will be an experience you both will remember and cherish.

My husband and I went to Nossa Omakase thinking we were going to have a nice tasting of Japanese food. Little did we know that we were going to experience a festival of flavors, colors, smells and incredibly creative culinary ideas. True, the service is close to flawless, and the decor dramatic and appropriate for what is to come. But the food... that's the next level. The experience includes a tasting of about 18 bites, ranging from tuna tartar, oysters with caviar and hikura, Japanese shrimp, aged blue fin tuna, to wagyu beef and perfect nigiri. The sauces are mysterious and seductive. The presentation is theatrical and intriguing. The chef is humble in his showmanship. It's worth every penny. Strongly recommend.

This is NOT omakase. At All. It's just a fun course meal. The experience I'd say is cool. It's very much of speakeasy and ironchef infused. I am giving one star because the food was SO disappointing. There were many great ingredients but I feel like the chef did not know how to cook. They kept serving us the similar flavor profile again, again and again. Lots of caviar and truffle. Those are both great but it's not something I want in every single dish. Also I'd love to have had a piece of a great raw fish but they either torched everything or put caviar on top of everything...It's definitely NOT worth the money. If you want a great course meal experience, I recommend STUBBORN SEED. A thousand times better.

Sadly, overall not worth it. Lovely ambiance, amazing entrance, good quality and and great showmanship. But the food wasn’t worth it. My oyster was half frozen, salmon cuts were a bit sad, and most of everything was covered in truffle and caviar (which I LOVE, but was over used). I’ve been to many omakases around the world, and this felt like a bit disrespectful to the tradition.

Nossa Omakase is a hidden gem in south beach. Our evening started when we were greeted by the host, Joe and escorted to the speak easy bar for a drink. Next we entered the main dining room where chef Max created a unique dining experience. He puts a spin on traditional Omakase by using flavors from South America. If you are interested in dinner and a show you will not be disappointed at Nossa Omakase. My husband and I went here last night for our anniversary dinner and were absolutely blown away! It was so much fun to get our private letter at the sushi restaurant out front with a description of how to find the “hidden” door and the password to get in! Upon entering we were taken back to another time, the bar has prohibition era movies playing on the walls and the bartender poured us the smoothest sake I’ve ever had. The staff was wonderful and welcomed us with open arms and made sure we understood what the night entailed.we became quick friends with the 2 other couples we were sharing our experience with. Once it was time to head to the main dining room we were escorted down a hall to a sliding door that dramatically swooped open to reveal a “stage” a kitchen, artistically decorated dining area, and our master chefs. Every dish was delicious work of art, masterfully crafted before our eyes and described in detail by our chef. There were spices I had never heard of and kitchen appliances I had never seen. It was not just the best dinner my husband and I have ever had, it was a show that rivals those you would see in Vegas. The staff even made sure to add special features to celebrate our anniversary. We left with full hearts, happy bellies and stories we laughed and relived the rest of the night. We can’t wait to return here on our next trip to Miami!

From the beginning where I was given a letter with my name giving my instructions how to enter their 'speakeasy lounge' it was like a cute treasure hunt experience to start off.
Everything from the service to the presentation to the ambiance was JUST WOWOWOWOW. We were served a 18-20 dish meal and each bite was honestly to die for. All the flavors paired so well and the way Max (Chef) explained everything in detail, you could tell how passionate and proud he was. A must go!!! This experience will blow you away. Fenomenal food, amazing service and a spectacular presentation. We had a set menu with 17 courses. Each course was different in that ans presentation. Two thumbs up for this place. Call for reservations. This place is seclusive, you will be escorted to the back of the building where there will be a knock ans a mysterious window will open. Once te password is said your will be let into a lounge area to have a drink. Then you will lead to the dinning room that is just beautiful. At this point the magic begins when the chef starts the presentation.

What an experience!! Not easy to find the combination of good food, service, and ambiance. Nosaa Omakase is not just good tho..it's OUTSTANDING.
First, the food, the most important. Just the ginger alone was amazing. So fresh it tasted...bright, like something filled with pure sunlight. Delicious borderline religious experience...and that's just the ginger!
I lost count of how many times I would sink into my chair as I tried another dish and said "wow, this one's my favorite"
Food so good you can't do anything but just sit there and chew, savoring every bit of complex and complementary taste, explosions of yumminess in your mouth 😋😋😋. Even the soy sauce was sophisticated, complex and savory without overwhelming.
Service perfect. Prompt & attentive without being overbearing, a warm & efficient professionalism.
Ambiance, in a word; dope. Walk down the side alley and bang on some big heavy metal door to get in. Cool lil lounge in the "waiting area" playing some b&w movies thru a projector, hip fresh music..clean & cozy.
The dining room feels like you're in a movie, the lighting is used absolutely brilliantly to highlight the food. And the bathrooms, I feel like you can tell a lot about a place just by it's bathrooms...👌👌 top-notch, selfie-worthy 🤳😎
It's an experience, the speakeasy plus having like your own private sushi chef for an evening, is something I hope everyone gets to enjoy at least once. Incredible 👏👏👏 @trisasworld congratulations!!! I know it's been a long & sometimes challenging journey this year, pero te salio de maravilla 💪...you will enjoy great successes ☺💙💚💛

Nossa Omakase is a must go! It’s an awesome one of a kind experience. We enjoyed every but every dish we got! There was no favorite because all were my favorite. It is a nice experience, atmosphere and very good service. If you want a nice evening with good food I would definitely recommend it 100%!
