The ‘eat all you can’ dinner was okay, but the service was lacking. As first-timers, we waited 10-15 minutes before the waiter even approached us, despite the place being almost empty. When he finally arrived, he just stood there without offering any guidance. We expected him to explain how things worked, the options we had, and recommend what to try, but that didn’t happen. We had to figure out on our own that there was a salad bar where we could help ourselves. Unfortunately, the sushi was a big disappointment—no matter what you ordered, it was just rice and imitation crab, which tasted greasy. None of us ate it. We also had to figure out the meats we ordered on our own. Overall, the poor communication and dim lighting in the restaurant made it a place I won’t be returning to.
Also, takeout Katsu chicken curry was expensive and chicken was bland, not even salt was present

Have not gone to this location in a while. Usually go to the one in Orlando. Came back after a year and was not worth it. The meats were mediocre. Some lacked flavor. The sushi was great. The service lacked attentiveness and sense of urgency. PRO TIP: there is a deal on Groupon for this izziban.

Excellent service and delicious food Izziban is definitely my go to Korean BBQ spot from here on out. The place is spacious and with tons a bbq areas.
They have a side-dish bar with tons of options like kimchi, glass noodles, fried cutlet, and other greens.
Their bbq options are also vast and their sushi is super tasty. I was not disappointed with the food at all! Additionally the service is spectacular. Our server was very attentive and helped us make some great choices. Can’t wait to go back.
While I didn’t try any they do have a good selection of drinks like Korean beers and Soju, as well as some desserts.

I used to go the buffet next this place semi-often and finally decided to give this place a try. When I tell you that the food was heavenly, it would be an understatement. I cannot find a single piece of food served here as anything short of supreme. Every item at the salad bar was delicious and that alone is enough to make me want to come back. They had potato salad that was sweet and creamy; Kimchi, albeit not very spicy, was still tangy; Cucumber Kimchi, which I have not tried prior to coming here but it is delicious and is also good for people who want a kimchi taste but don’t like the sour of the pickled cabbage; Fried chicken, which went amazing with the katsu sauce; and last but not least the Korean pancake which was delightfully fluffy and savory. All of the meat was nice and tender and the pre-seasoned meat is definitely worth a try. The KBBQ also comes with all you can eat sushi. I must say that the crunchy salmon this place serves is divine as it melts in your mouth and the creaminess from the warm cream cheese makes it a satisfying munch. Overall If I could, I would give this place 10 stars.

For a Korean BBQ the cuts of meat were really nice and good portions even for all you can eat,
the sushi was so delicious though they only have a handful of selections for the sushi they are all delicious
Our server Young was so nice and helpful explaining the menu and was very attentive to us even with a full restaurant
I would recommend at least trying this place out at least once

Our favorite Korean BBQ spot! Shrimp, Ribeye, boneless short rib and spicy chicken are our favorites! Moved to Davie from this area and we still come back just for this gem! All you can eat sushi too, just can’t be beat! You will leave with a full and happy tummy every time. Really not bad for price!! 100/10 recommend. (21+ Soju sample flight so fun too!)

Overall my favorite kbbq in the area, the meats range from being 5/5 to 3/5, but the cucumber kimchi is the best around. Wish they had a punch card or something for repeat visits though. If everything was as consistent as the best times it should definitely be 5/5.

I love this place and employees especially Joe. He is soo kind and helpful. Their menu A has more items now like shrimp. Yummy yummy roll is my favorite. My favorites from the salad are the veggies pancakes, fish cakes, and japchae( sauces, sesame seed oil, and soy sauces are on the left of the salad bar) 💖 as for meats I like the brisket, garlic pork, and sliced pork. Don't forget to ask for rice. Oh okay last thing, the water is sooo refreshing it’s the best tap water you'll have.

My kids and I went here to celebrate. We are so excited to be able to cook our foods.
This was a waste of our time and money, I would never come back here please read the reviews and reconsider some of the other amazing restaurants in the area.
The food that we were able to cook on the grill was decent. But the problem was is that we could only order so many pieces and then needed to reorder again. I didn't have any issues with that, but I never realized that there wouldn't be any service to give us more food. We went without getting stuff to cook multiple times.
The bar that has all of the other foods and condiments left a lot to be desired..
To start, the California rolls that my children ordered were so bad they literally spit them out. They've had California rolls all over the world and they've never not eaten them except for this place. That should tell you a little something about the food quality there.
The hot foods such as the katsu and other items we're cold, bland and tasteless. they did have some decent sauces there, but that was about it.
On multiple occasions I had to get up from my seat and go find a waiter to ask for simple things like water or even food that we needed to cook.
There was another waiter in our area that was not busy at all and cleaning the tables and getting everything ready and was always in our area but never helped us whatsoever.our waiter was non-existent after the initial seating. He was not friendly he was not kind he didn't have a smile on his face. He was hating his job. Him being miserable made us miserable and it was a terrible experience.
I don't know how you could mess up a dining experience like this. All you do is supply the customers their meat that they choose and let them cook it, that's it. Well obviously if you have terrible service you have no meat to cook and it becomes a bad experience.
In several other of these restaurants that we've been to they will typically replace the cooking Platten when it becomes dirty. No such thing at our place, are cooking surface was disgusting after the food we cooked.
Also most places like this will turn on the overhead fans so that it sucks away the smoke, but in this place they never turned any of them on and we all smell like smoke when we left.
I was so disappointed, because we are so excited about this place. And as I mentioned how do you mess up food like this when the customer Cooks it themselves. But I'm sad to say that this is not a good place to eat, and you would be better off spending your money elsewhere. Plenty of other better restaurants with better service.
Buyer beware

DONT DO IT!!! I’ve attended this korean bbq 3 times and honestly the service has always been subpar. At least with the other two times we were checked in on a little more and when asking for things we weren’t given an attitude. This time it was too much anytime we spoke to the server we were met with an attitude. Any questions we asked he answered snippy. When asking if he could turn on the hood he simply says no and walked away again with an attitude. It’s honestly, and I genuinely mean this, the worst dining experience I’ve had. It’s auto gratuity so I feel as if that’s why he simply doesn’t care but overall DONT COME!!

Haven't been to this restaurant for 2 years. I used to like it very much. The Korean waiters were very nice and the food was delicious. When I came again last week, a male waiter had a cold attitude and looked like he didn't welcome us. In the end, we chose to leave. I couldn't believe it. Fortunately, we left at that time and didn't put up with it anymore. We changed to another restaurant and had a happy meal. I will never come here again.

The menu was not explained, so we ended up with way more food than we wanted. Miso soup was good..The sushi did not taste fresh. Though the cuts of beef were quality, the meat didn't look very fresh. It might really be good for some people, but my husband and I were first-time Korean bbq eaters and did not enjoy it at all. We won't be back.

Service was awful. Our waiter walked away to help another table in the middle of taking our orders and didn’t come back. It was wild. We had to track him down to take the rest of the tables order. I was given what was clearly pork and told it was chicken and the meat quality I wouldn’t give my dog. At $40 a person I can’t recommend.

I bought the Groupon for all you can eat sushi and BBQ for me and my partner for 50 bucks. Thought I was getting a good deal. Boy was I wrong
The place is dull, with strange dark decor and too many TVs like a sports bar. The service was cold. My server never even asked if it was our first time eating there, didn't explain anything or even go thru the options. We had to ask for sides of white rice instead of it being offered. The food was... bad. The sushi had no flavor and the Korean bbq was swimming in a sauce making it impossible to cook anything to a crisp. We didn't even notice the salad bar with options that were lacking and a TON of sauces and big containers of seasonings..i don't even know who thought running this place in this manner was a good idea but they need a lesson in customer service.
I've worked in the restaurant industry for a 12 years and never write negative reviews unless it's REAL BAD👎

I had the misfortune of dining at this restaurant, and it was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had. The food tasted off from the moment it arrived, and within a few hours, I was sick — vomiting, stomach cramps, and nonstop trips to the bathroom. I suspect food poisoning because it hit me and ruined my entire day.
The hygiene standards are questionable, to say the least. The staff seemed careless, and the food had a strange smell, which I should have taken as a warning. If you value your health, avoid this place at all costs. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Stay away!

Horrible experience here. When I arrived my family and I had to wait for some one to even attend us for over 10mins, there was no one at the front of the house to welcome you in and seat you. Then when someone finally walked over he acted as though he was surprised to see us there and literally says “Oh. Hi.” And then proceeds to stare at us waiting for I don’t know what until we asked how long to be seated and he said one second then walked away and took 10 more mins to come back to us and seat us somewhere. (Mind you the place was almost empty). After being seated we are briefly explained the menu then told to pick out our seasonings and toppings from the topping bar. By the time we came back the waiter tells us he has to move our table because they one they currently had us sitting at did not appear to have a functioning stove top to cook the food on.
Fast forward to ordering the food it was all weird tasting and overall subpar for the price they charge. Especially the sushi that was the biggest disappointment it tastes fake if that makes sense.
And to top it all off when I got home I ended up having to throw up everything I ate because my stomach hurt so damn bad it was like my body was begging me to expel this damn food and then proceeded to have diarrhea for hours on end. (TMI I know, sorry) Anyways, all in all I would definitely never come back here or recommend this place to anyone unless you like food poisoning 👍🏼

I recently visited this BBQ buffet on a Thursday afternoon, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. First, the food was very fresh, which is always a great sign. Parking was easy, and we used a Groupon voucher for our meal, which made it even more affordable.
The service was excellent; the staff was friendly and attentive. As for the food, the BBQ meats were delicious, although I was slightly disappointed that they didn’t have kimchi, which is something I expect at a Korean BBQ. Other than that, the food was tasty, and we left quite satisfied.
I wouldn’t highly recommend the sushi, as I found it to be average. The miso soup was also a bit too salty for my taste. However, the BBQ meats were definitely the highlight, especially the king oyster mushrooms, which were very flavorful. I also loved using the lettuce wraps and the sauces that came with the meal. The house spicy sauce and the Korean spicy soybean paste paired perfectly with the grilled meats, especially when combined with the sesame oil – absolutely delicious!
We went on a rainy day, so it was pretty quiet, with just one other table besides ours. We ordered quite a bit, and considering we used the Groupon voucher, the total for two people came out to just over $60 including tax and tip, which I thought was quite reasonable for the amount of food we enjoyed. All in all, we left full and happy, and it was a good value for the price.

We went for our first time to try Izziban. We have never done Korean barbecue either. I asked our server how everything is done but there was literally no instruction. He was just like 'you just cook it.' I didn't know for how long or if there was a proper way. We were just supposed to figure it out for ourselves. I was worried without knowing proper cook times for the meat, I may under or overcook something. There were scissors and I didn't know what those were for until I saw another table use them on the long strips of meat. They have a free little buffet area that has all kinds of food items, sauces, and seasonings. On the menu it said they had Rangoon but I'm not sure I saw it. I did love the Japchae and veggie pancake a lot. Our entree came with three kinds of meats and choice of two sushi rolls. I had a feeling that would be a lot of food so I only got one roll. It was just okay. The meat that came out was very fresh. We got pork belly and squid rings. Each portion was generous. At the end, my husband asked for just a super tiny amount of one other kind of meat but they gave so much which was generous but we couldn't finish it and I felt bad. One thing that's strange is you can't take the food you pay for home. I would understand if we picked our own portions of meat, but we didn't get to pick how much they offered us, so it doesn't make sense that the food should just get thrown out just because we didn't eat it all. I overheard another person at the next table say they would even offer to pay more for the food they had already paid for but didn't finish. It doesn't really make sense. If you go in paying a certain amount of money for a certain amount of food but you just can't finish it all in one sitting, what's left over should surely be yours to take home. That is not their policy however so for that reason I'm not sure we would go back. Everything was really delicious.

The service sadly was a letdown. The website shows multiple menus but doesn't make it clear the regular menu is not part of the AYCE selection which is limited to meats and mostly cream cheese sushi. I wish I had a chance to try more of the food as the small bites I got were not bad but the server ignored me the entire time and I actually didn't get food. It was really hectic and they don't have any system for ordering like other Korean BBQs where you get a paper checklist or robot. I did however like the atmosphere and cute frog mascots around. The banchan bar means unlimited fish cake and kimchi which is a plus, and there's a huge selection of dry spices and sauces to dip the meats in (provided you get any)

If you're looking to have a date night I would definitely pick this .or a group of girls or a group of guys it's good for any occasion. You have two options on the meat package .I would say go with the larger one because you have more selection on the meats. That way you get to try a little bit of everything. And it's all you can eat both packages .It come with all you can eat sushi and then they also give you an appetizer as well. And not only that they also have a salad bar and it has some of everything on that. If anyone leaves out of this place hungry something is clearly wrong. I had the Long Island iced tea drink. That thing was super strong. And I also love that by the salad bar they have all the seasonings and sauces that you would need to prepare your food with how you like it which is a plus. The staff is super friendly it was just a super good experience no complaints. I give this place a 10 out of 10 I would definitely come back again. I would definitely skip breakfast and lunch when going here

Title: Disappointing Experience at Izziban Sushi and BBQ
I recently visited Izziban Sushi and BBQ with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. Firstly, the prices were exorbitant considering the limited options available for Korean BBQ. Despite the promise of an "all you can eat" experience, the reality was quite different – the wait for orders was excruciatingly slow, and when they did arrive, the portions were stingy, especially when it came to the meat.
The sushi was a major letdown – not only was the quality subpar, but the rice was incredibly hard, making it nearly inedible. It's disheartening to pay a premium for sushi and be served something that doesn't meet even basic standards.
Adding insult to injury, the ambiance left much to be desired. The building felt outdated, and the state of the bathrooms was frankly appalling. It's difficult to enjoy a meal when the surroundings are so uninviting.
To top it all off, the 18 percent fee added to the bill for cooking our own food felt like a slap in the face. The notion of paying extra for the privilege of cooking our own meal is absurd, especially considering the already steep prices.
Perhaps most telling of all was the lack of other customers during our visit – it's telling when a restaurant is nearly empty during peak hours. Overall, Izziban Sushi and BBQ failed to deliver on multiple fronts, and I would caution others against wasting their time and money at this establishment.

Great BBQ! Food is always fresh. The buffet of sauces, veggies and salads, is superb! Sushi is yummy also. Service is always friendly and attentive. I have been here several times. I have tried other places but nothing beats Izziban.

I didn't eat because that place on the inside looks like it needs a really deep cleaning. The person I went with was like I'm don't care I'm hungry 😒

We stopped here for a late lunch. Honestly I was a little worried as we were the only people in the restaurant, just the two of us. My worries went away immediately with the great service, the help yourself bar with all the delicious Korean sides and sauces, and when the grill at our table was sparked up and loaded with meat by our server. It was delicious!! I only gave 4 stars for the food because while the Korean BBQ was incredible, and we have eaten at a lot of Korean BBQ places, the sushi they included with the all you can eat meal was so so at best. We love sushi but could have skipped this all together here, it just didn’t bring anything to the meal. Otherwise this place is great. I’m glad we stumbled upon it and decided to give it a try.

Thursday, April 4th, 2024 party of 3 dinner $143 included pre-added 18% tip (when the bill comes, tip option is there again DO NOT BE TRICKED TO TIPPING TWICE)
-NO TAKING HOME EXTRA FOOD
-YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR REMAINING FOOD NOT COOKED OR ATE
-YOU STINK LIKE A CHEF/COOK WHEN YOU LEAVE (EVEN AFTER CHANGING YOUR CLOTHES, YOUR HAIR/SKIN/HANDS STINK)
-YOU'RE TIPPING 18% WHEN YOU COOK ALL YOUR FOOD, GET ALL YOUR SAUCES, SIDES, SPICES, UTENSILS, NAPKINS (they bring you the protein, sushi and drinks to table only)
Private parking lot, seated in a matter of minutes but most confused if you wait to be seated or seat yourself (a sign is recommended to avoid further confusion)
Protein Option A (more choices) for 32 pp
Protein Option B (less choices) for 44 pp
Sushi options approximately 6-8 choices (not good choices. The yummy yummy was partially eaten and the rest not touched)
Everyone has to order/eat the same thing up to 5 options of protein then two options from sushi (sushi options were not good)
You cook everything yourself (which was expected but overrated. Never again. I cooked more than I ate)
Then there's add ons and additional options for more money (we didn't partake in add ons of any kind)
The more protein we got was the worse it tasted for
some strange reason (brisket was the only protein all enjoyed/worth while)
The shrimp (issued 4 pieces at a time, which was annoying for 3 pp), brisket and Rangoon (tiny in size and issued 4-5 pieces at a time, again annoying for 3 pp) were the only things we liked
A lot of items you collect from counter and bring back to table are not labeled and we have no idea what it was or whether or not it's to be cooked
Since it was our first time, we were completely confused and had some food left over which they didn't charge us for (Thank God) I find it horrific you can't take it home or that food is wasted with so many struggling with groceries, inflation and homelessness (left my soul uneasy) I understand some try to take advantage but for those who aren't and paying big money should be able to
With that said, ain't coming back until changes are made. We prefer Shinju buffet (zero issues ever for lunch or dinner) where we were headed to and decided on this venue last minute and no one was happy, everyone critiqued experience all the way home and were very disappointed (ruined our night as we don't eat out often, especially dinner and this was a major let down/waste of good money)
Management please take all mentioned into consideration and make the experience better for the customer especially those not accustomed to Korean BBQ.

You cook marinated meat right in the table. It's good food at a reasonable price and all you can eat. The drinks are nice too but not part of the deal. Definitely a return restaurant for me.

It is very sad that employees give sush a bad experience to a business. Wednesday April 3, 2024 at 5 PM, both male employees gave the worst experience. The sushi was good, spicy mayo delicious, the spring rolls were bad, fried with old oil, Mango drink was really good, but the way the big guy served us, like we were a bother, we wanted more food, but decided paid the bill and go to another place. Will never go back. The owner needs to take action. No wonder the place was empty.

Great place, good food and service. Will definitely go back. I enjoyed cooking at the table.

If you like cold side items with a lot of fruit flies circling them, cups smaller than kids cups from other restaurants, waiters that don't have any customer service and bland food then this is the place for you, if not then you may want to reconsider or just go at your own risk. Atmosphere wasn't bad, but they had extension cords under the tables in our section, which seemed kind of hazardous.

Food was not fresh at all. Shrimp was not deveined. Chicken was like mash potatoes I was very disappointed with the quality of food.

If I could give this place a 0, I would. The food was horrible. We ordered 2- Option A’s with a Coke & a water. The chicken looked like they had just took it out of a bin. It was wet and slimy and looked like pig slop. They’re side options were very limited. They lacked customer service. We had to keep pressing the button to get the server to come to our table. The place is all you can eat, but the food was so disgusting that I didn’t even finish my first serving. There were fruit flies in the salad bar. The bill came out to $100.00 plus 18% gratuities (which I should get back for cooking my own food lol). The food was extremely OVER PRICED. Oh, and if you don’t finish the pile of meat they give you it’s an additional $20.00 per 1/2 lbs you don’t eat. The female restroom stall doors didn’t lock. All in all, I will NEVER visit this restaurant again!!!! Debating if I should call the health department to see how they are storing their meat (YES, it was that bad!!!)

This place is okay, just okay. I have been coming here on and off since 2019 and it really sucks to write a 3 star review. When we used to come here the service was quick and attentive. Now, it feels like since they get an 18% tip no matter what they kind of treat you however. No greetings, no check ins, no beverage refills unless you ask for them. Very hit or miss, the last few times we came we had servers who checked up on tables around us and asked them how they were doing and not us…. For awhile…. And, barely acknowledged us when we had asked for something or would walk away before we finished speaking. They would also not write our order down and forget certain items because of it then having us wait and wait until we asked them about it. They will then go to the computer literally within view and enter the order they forgot. Use a notepad if you need it, please.
Food is okay, you cook it yourself so not much there. I do wish they included some sort of veggie bar. Their drinks are really good. I recommend the June Bug if you like drinks that hide the taste of alcohol (banana liqueur beware though.)
Atmosphere is very hole in the wall-esque if that’s your thing. I personally really like it but I know the lighting may not be for everyone.

been going here every once in awhile since 2016 and the service has went down tremendously. The place is so dull in some areas so you can’t really see if you’re cooking it well. they did not oil our grill so most of the food was burnt and they used to have this paper that you could put on top of the grill but they didn’t have that either.
18% tip of gratuity is charged in your bill regardless yet half of the time we were there was just us waiting for the big boy to service us, even if we used the call button multiple times no one would come. there was only about 3 people working and our server didn’t even bother to ask us if we were doing okay although he made his rounds around the tables near us. it got so bad another server/owner(?) was serving us more than our actual server. they would bring the food and just disappear/ignore us yet was chatting with people when our table was getting messy with leftover plates. they do not clean your table.
usually at korean barbecue places they bring out free rice bowls for us but we had to wait 20 minutes for us to ask them where is it. the food itself was bland and tasteless. for an overpriced “all you can eat” they definitely did not want us eating because when we tried to order an amount of food they rejected us. gave us a free patbingsoo because they clearly knew their management is awful.
i was calm & collected and never lashed out because i knew they were busy but when we almost did, that was the quickest they ever came to service us. i never bother doing a google review but i just had to for this place. never going again.

i went to izziban for the first time today for a valentines day date. the service was absolutely fine, we had a very nice woman serve us. and the interior was very cutesy. i loved the jinro frogs in the entrance. my only complaints are regarding the food. i ordered the beef brisket, bulgogi beef, crunchy shrimp roll, and the las vegas roll. the beef brisket and las vegas roll were both really really good. the bulgogi and crunchy shrimp roll on the other hand, were not to my liking. the bulgogi had a very weird smell and taste to it. it smelled a bit rotten and tasted very off. i always order bulgogi beef when i go out and have even made it myself. i felt genuinely nauseous after eating it. the only thing about the roll that i can say was the seaweed was very very rubbery and just kind of tasted like publix sushi right before closing. everything i got from the salad bar was delicious, though. especially the japchae and the vegetable pancakes. my boyfriend’s food was all good, he said, but he didnt love it. (he ordered gochujang pork belly, chicken, spicy krab and another crispy roll that i cant remember).

First time Korean barbecue. Short staffed. I ended up feeling sorry for our waiter who was also the host and had far too many tables. He himself was very nice and accommodating. Obviously they have poor management. Don’t have a Groupon that runs Mon-Th, all you can eat, with 1 guy waiting on at least 10 tables and hosting as well. The food, meh! The food also made us very bloated and dehydrated. I didn’t eat as much as my husband who’s built like “The Rock.” He was so bloated he was sick. The tip was added on the check with the tip which was only 18%. I made sure to tip 25%. Most likely we won’t go again. Not only because of the food and sickness afterwards, but because of the way they treat their employees. The

I've been eating here for 8 years. the food and the service is phenomenal. I always have a great experience with the buffet and always ask for my philis roles. This place is an investment and a priceless memory for me, my wife and my friends whom I bring to visit often. If you are into meat, sushi, Asian food and K Pop, this is the place to visit.

Food was ok. Service was a bit slow especially when it was time to swap out the grill. Buffet style meal but the items from the server were slow. Overpriced.

Back in 2019 this place was pretty neat to come with friends but as of tonight I think it’ll be my last time there. Mid week night at 8pm and only one other 2 top there should have been a sign that this place isn’t the same. Prices have gone to nearly $50 a person for BBQ!?!? I had a friend who was visiting that wanted Korean and she was so excited to go back to this spot too. The first thing that gave us a sour taste was the way the server spoke to us. We started ordering 4 meats to start but as soon as she was done speaking he said “No” and then a long pause until she said “what do you mean no?” Which he replied “you can only order 3.” Instead of that response maybe stating ahead of time how it works would’ve been nice. The meats were a bit off other than the ribeye thin cut and beef brisket slices. It took a while for him to come check on us each time which was wild as there wasn’t anyone who came in until we left which was also another couple… and the worst part was the added 18%??? That Big Boy didn’t even do his job well enough to earn it. So to sum it up it’s about $140 for 2 ppl with that 18% with the option B menu.

Everything was okay. Nothing to write home about. We opted for the premium selection and it was incredibly overpriced for the quality and service. We've frequented Korean BBQ and were surprised at the lack of attentiveness and middling meat quality (very fatty and chewy). There was even a button to push for the server, however that too took quite a while to respond. We were a 4 top on a Thursday around 6pm. There were two other tables sat that we saw. It was "all you can eat" at a $43 per person. In Lauderhill. We did Gen on Las Olas a few months ago for about $30 and it was tremendously better.

The price went up again, but everything else also went up in prices. For $35/person, its not bad as its unlimited meat, rice and have good selections of salad bar. Family and friends are always here whenever we want a nice dinner, whether its a birthday or special occasions.

Izziban Sushi & BBQ was a disappointing experience for us. Unfortunately, we got food poisoning from the meat, which was overly sauced and tasted off. To make matters worse, our sushi order took an eternity, forcing us to cancel it after 45 minutes of waiting and having to chase down the waitress for updates. We won't be returning.

Second visit here tonight. The “owner” was walking around in gym shorts- not really doing anything besides socializing. The restaurant is freezing. The food is FINE, but really doesn’t hit the spot for a sushi craving. The mango was frozen and most rolls were overly sweet. Entire plate was drizzled with eel sauce (only one roll was eel). No hot tea in the traditional teapot was available.
I’m personally annoyed when there are finished plates, paper wrappers, etc on the table for the entire meal despite multiple staff members standing around chatting. Our waitress, one food runner, and the kitchen staff were the only ones taking care of the tables. The owner, bartender, and another waitress (at least) were standing around chatting. Would have liked to see more of a team effort.

Had a nice time with my family here! The sushi was absolutely incredible, I highly recommend the "Las Vegas" roll. The sauces were really good too. Waiter was very patient with my family and I really appreciated it! Sadly my steak did not taste great but they have so many meats to try that I'm sure their other ones taste better. Also a very helpful tip: get a reservation here, otherwise you'll be stuck in the front desk area for over 45min waiting for a table.

Izziban is one of my favorite experiences. I brought my family of 6 and we all had a great time! You select your meats and sushi, collect your rice, salad and favorite sides, and begin! I may thinking, “why pay money to cook your own meat?” To that i say, “why not?! It’s a lot of fun and I hope try it!” The food and service is wonderful!

A lot of the interrior was a little dull. Most of the food came in a very wet sauce so it just boiled and you couldn’t get any color on the meat or get it crispy. Sushi was good but way too much rice. The roll was closer to 80% rice and only 20% actual ingredients. For $43 a person the food quality wasn’t worth the money in my opinion. Service was very good.

I have tried multiple Korean BBQ before and think this restaurant is alright. It’s not the best in town tho that’s why I’m giving 4 stars. It has basic stuff and of course AYCE so you won’t be hungry going here, but the food is not satisfying or specially good. The quality could have been better. It’s also expensive compared to the meat options and quality. Not sure I would come back but at least I tried it out

Went to dinner here with my sisters and my husband and it was a really weird experience. We had to wait 15-20 minutes before we were seated when there was a lot of seats available. Secondly our waiter was talking so fast although he asked us if it was our first time there. We were unsure how to even order our food. Thirdly they tell you to use the call button but they took forever to come to the table and bring your drink orders to you. Some of the meat does not come marinated BUT WE DO RECOMMEND MARINATING THE BEEF BRISKET WITH THE HOUSE SAUCE. It was an okay experience and there was not much side options. Just think of you paying so much money for doing all of the work with gratuity included which was bizarre to us since the service was not all that. The bathroom floor was very sticky and dirty. There was basically no soap and no napkins to wipe your hands either. The sushi was okay too, we had the spicy tuna and the crispy salmon which we asked the waiter for like 5 times.

I did not like the food, service or place. The sushi is made in bulk and way ahead of time, one has to get their own utensils, plates, sauces and napkins and the meat and seafood is not a good quality. Even the Diet Coke tastes bad. In addition, they never clean your table.

The service here was endearing and attending! When our grill was too overused a waiter offered it being switched out and did. I am not from the area and was pleased by the authentic and intimate feel of the restaurant. The meat for bbq was fresh, and marinated! There is an array of seasonings provided for the meats that are not marinated, as well as sauces and plenty of dipping options. There are authentic sides like katsu kimchi and glass noodles! The molten chocolate lava cake was very warm and tasty as well. It was my first time getting kbbq but I was far from disappointed in the slightest!
