Can't beat this lunch sushi buffet! The staff are so friendly and kind. We've gone over 12 times in the past 4 months or so, it's really good. The dinner buffet is awesome too. (We typically stick to sushi when we go there.)

Menu its a bit confusing, so let me explain its more like a tapas place where you can choose a variety of dishes for one price. You can choose four from the sushi and four of the kitchen side. That's eight things for like $21.99-24.99. Great deal! Long wait for Friday night! We went all out and order way too much! Their is a sub charge for food not eaten so we payed extra, but it wasn't a lot! Sushi was Delicious and recommend. The hibachi was not as great very small and meat was hard. I asked for beef fried rice but got plain. Sushi tapas was a lot and every single thing was great! So, I recommend that instead of the hibachi. Its plenty.

All you can eat sushi and more. I am new to sushi so I got to try 3 rolls and they were all great. The pacific roll was amazing!!! The rice and noodle dishes are plain with a hibachi style protein on side. ( id skip those) Spicy grab salad was great! Soy paper was only .50 extra for each roll! I can't wait to go back!!!

I placed an online takeout order at Fuji Sushi while I was out running errands. When I went to pick up the order, I was surprised at how packed the restaurant was for a Monday afternoon. Then I learned they have an all you can eat lunch special during the week for $15.99. While I waited for my food to come out, I noticed the interior could definitely use a fresh coat of paint and some sprucing up. The wall opposite of the entrance, especially needs new paint. I brought my food home and noticed they never packed my ginger salad which I was eagerly awaiting to try as I love ginger dressing. I didn’t call to let the restaurant know because I did not want to make another trip back 15 minutes. Out of my way for a small salad. I got the chicken and steak hibachi meal. Usually I like to order fillet, but that was not an option. The steak was OK and the chicken was flavorful. The rice was a small portion and the vegetables were a bit overcooked and a small portion as well. Overall, it was a decent meal and I would probably go back and eat inside and try the all you can eat lunch special.

the table for a two seated person is small & crowded next to each other. the food here is pretty good as well!!
also the people that drop your food off or collect your plates off your table don’t really talk just do their job. very serious people.

OMG! My husband and I had came to Jacksonville, FL for a surgery I needed and were invited to eat here. We’ve never been so full eating sushi like we did here. We love sushi! The waiting time to be seated was 15 minutes, a reasonable time because they were really busy. Price, it’s amazing $18.99 per person at dinner, all you can eat. Service was great. They were constantly coming to check on the table. Food came out quickly and it was delicious. Whenever you go make sure you wear comfortable pants! hahaha I hope they open one in Huntsville, Alabama even though my husband says he doesn’t want to because we will be broke and we will gain a lot of weight!!! 😁

Came here on a recommendation that it was good. Looking at the price i was doubtful. The lunch menu had a bunch of items on it but a lot of it was very similar to each other. I started with a ginger salad which honestly was the worst ginger salad i have ever had. There was like a 1/4" of water in the bowl and the dressing tasted weird. Ordered some crab rangoon and they don't even bring out any sauce, same goes for the egg roll. As for the rolls everything was just like mush. There was no "bite" or firmness to the fish. Also they only have 2 i believe sushi chefs so our food took forever to come out. Our second round took so long i was basically not even filled anymore. Our server was very nice and did a decent job of serving us. Honestly, the fact that this place even has a 4* is really disappointing considering how close to the ocean we are. The atmosphere seems run down they have things hanging from the ceiling where Tvs used to be maybe? The whole environment seems run down. Sorry but I wouldn't go here again.

Man use to love this place but it seems to have gone down hill. Servers aren’t attentive at all and one tried to argue with my wife after bringing the wrong items. Just seems dirty lately. Bathroom was gross with a really sticky floor and graffiti all over the walls. On top of that I got sick the day after. Again use to love this place but it’s just changed.

A different take on sushi ordering. Amazing prize for all you can eat. Good variety of sushi. They also have hibachi, and the portions are a good size. Be prepared to wait if you have a large party.

Great sushi’s place! The food was amazing and the service was awesome! Our waitress was very attentive and we got all our food within great time. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyed our time in family. Kids friendly as well.

All you can eat menu with 2 prices: $22./$25., the second price covers the entire menu.
I don’t eat much. I had 2 rolls, salad, and wontons. All food fresh, surprisingly delicious given the ‘buffet concept’ with service. Please be kind and tip 25 to 30% to your waiters if not more. Inflation did not increase minimum wage for servers. 🙏
The environment is clean, organize, tables a bit close but that’s probably fine for those not needing more privacy. A few booths are available, I highly recommend.
Although handicap accessible parking is available in front of the building , the ladies bathroom isa not small with two toilets. I’m not sure about the other one as it was occupied, but I felt like crouching tiger as I descended to a toilet for a a child. I’m not sure about Florida codes, but I know the height for public ADA standards is 17- 19 inches.
Anyway, if you are a Homosapien, that is taller than me at 5’1” and larger than me (118 lbs), bad knees, disabled or any other physical features you know would not be able to squat that low and stand with ease; please call the restaurant to verify the height of the ladies second bathroom toilet I did not see.

Good place, good value. I just didn't like the aftertaste I had on my roll. The pace of them bringing the food was ok, one little thing at a time when you order more than one thing. They were very nice tho, and the food was decent ! Not sure I will be back though. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Before I say anything else, you should know that you are seated on a time limit per visit. It had only been an hour, but we got handed the receipt and given the boot while we still hadn’t received all of our order. To start, service was great they got our drink orders asap and first round of food came out quickly. Unfortunately, service slows after your first round and we were not aware so we didn’t fill our sheets out entirely the first time and really regretted it. By the time we got our second round, we had been there about 45 minutes. I put in a final order for edamame and then we were given our receipt. I waited and waited for the edamame that never came. We’ve actually been back twice since then because the sushi is actually good. we are just a bit more strategic with our ordering now. Hilariously, I still have not gotten the edamame that I ordered. All three visits, I ordered it last, cuz that’s how I like it, and all three visits I have left empty handed. We placed bets on if I’d get it last time and whoever was right had to pay. My husband bet that I’d get it. He paid for dinner lol.

horrible. absolutely horrible, not only did the food suck, but the service was terrible, and so much money for what. my sister is 4 and doesnt eat much so my mom was just gonna get rice for her from her paper. no, they forced her to buy for another person, so it was another 20 bucks for RICE. not even good rice, the rice honestly was not good or bad. the servers were rude, were knocking things around, and were very careless with what they were doing. the atmosphere was very cheap looking and smelled very weird. the food was terrible in my opinion, taking a bite out of it made me gag and i didnt feel good for the rest of the night, somethings were OKAY but others were horrible. needless to say, my night was not a good experience and i recommend not going here if you dont want to waste money for bad food and terrible service.

Was excited to try this place as my husband and I are new to the area but to be utterly disappointed. Came inside to a full restaurant but was greeted with a stalker on the loose as the news was playing on the tv. We were seated by the host and got our waters. We waited to see if a server would come to take our order but then realized we had to write our order down on not so clean pieces of paper with no instructions. (There were so many soy sauce spills in every piece of paper). Wish someone would have mentioned that to us so we didn’t waste 10 minutes being confused.

Our food came after 20 minutes and was very disappointing. Presentation was so ugly that it made me laugh out loud. The wasabi looked like a pile of green poop as it was probably the cheap tube wasabi. We got spicy krab salad and it wasn’t even fully shredded. The sashimi was warm and cut with a dull knife since the texture was mushy. The supreme rolls were covered with unagi sauce that all you could think about was feeling your throat being covered in sugar. There was no texture despite there being cucumber and asparagus in the rolls for a crunch factor. We ordered a fried roll for it to come to us in a pool of oil. Absolutely disappointing. On top of that we had to argue with the expo about what we did and didn’t order.

If you are new to sushi and tend to like things on the sweeter side, this is a great place to try a bit of everything.

If you are well versed in sushi, care about textures, and presentation. This is definitely not the place to go to. We will not come back.

On both occasions we visited, this one waiter was kinda rude and made an inappropriate, passive aggressive comment to my girlfriend for no reason. Other than that uncalled for situation, most of the other staff members are nice and the food is good.

The place was very crowded and extremely loud...I had teenagers on both sides and they were very loud...won't go back bc of this...so close I could've ate off their plates. However the service and food was very good! I also ordered hibachi vegetables which never came...the server inquired about them and said the chef said I ordered hibachi beef which I would never order and on my plate they had brought me hibachi chicken...so I was quite confused but to me...I would have just gotten me the vegetables which I obviously ordered properly!

The food was delicious (except the fried food, they tasted like the oil needed to be changed out, and the vegetable tempura was burnt), better than the last time I was there, but the service wasn’t the best. I had to ask 4 different people for siracha and no one brought it, until we actually walked up to the server at the counter and asked for it, because our server hadn’t been back to our table for about 20 minutes. When our server saw one of us walk up to the counter that was when he came over to see what the problem was, and it wasn’t busy, there were maybe 10 tables and 4 people taking orders and about 7 people running food, and 2 bussing, so definitely not an understaffing problem.

This experience left a little to be desired, honestly. We got there an hour before closing. Waited for our server. Waited for our drinks... then we were rushed to order and rushed for a last call... then another table was sat next to us after we were rushed for last call.

Then after we finished, we sat waiting on our bill just for our server to come by and give us a clipped "What else do you need?" Obviously trying to get us out of there... and I said... "The bill. We've been waiting on YOU."

Been going to Fuji for years and love the sushi. Service is another story. It's mediocre at best and terrible at worst. Instead of dining in my wife and I just get take out now. Great place to try a bunch of different types of sushi if you do dine in, but I highly recommend just getting food to go.

Atmosphere is cramped. Tables are hard to squeeze around to get to the bathroom, almost having to rub my rump against tables or people to get by.. and i'm thin. So I'm not sure how to fix that. But over all good!

The food here is always amazing! The service is consistently underwhelming, though. We had been to another Fuji before so we understood the sheet, but there wasn’t any form of instruction for those who might be unaware. We really only saw our server when he was dropping food off without a word. We couldn’t flag anyone down for a bill again this time because every server had their heads down to read tickets or were running food. We ended up going to the front to ask for our check.
I’ll be going back to the Beach Blvd location for their sweet staff even if it’s a longer drive.

My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a go since it’s closer than our regular AYCE sushi place on the southside.

I liked how peaceful, calm, and dark the environment was. However, this place needs some major cleaning! Stains on the walls, food everywhere, and dust palooza. I’m assuming it’s so dark in there to hide the nastiness of it. The food looked really good when it came out. We got sushi, habachi, and sushi nigiri.

After we ate, we both started to feel a little weird. Something was off with the steak and I had to spit out 2-3 pieces because it was hard. We each put 1 order in and that was enough for us. Looking at other reviews, it seems the main thing is the quality of food and how it’s gone downhill.

This place has a lot of potential! I love the idea of AYCE for a great price. Hopefully they can get it together.

I recently dined at Fuji Sushi ultimate restaurant sushi and grill in mandarin and was blown away by the magnificent food and impressive quality. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, providing the perfect setting for a delightful meal. However, there were some notable inconsistencies in the service that detracted from the overall experience.

Upon arrival, we were initially overlooked by a host or server wearing a mushroom shirt, which was a bit off-putting. Thankfully, another server, a very nice lady with short red hair and a black bow, came to our aid and provided exemplary service. She was professional, polite, and ensured our dining experience got off to a great start.

Throughout our meal, the serving staff were commendably professional and well-mannered, efficiently attending to our needs. However, there was a disappointing incident involving a group of guests who arrived after us. Despite being visible to the host/server in the mushroom shirt, they were left standing at the door, ultimately leaving without being seated. Our drinks were not refilled at anytime during our experience.This lack of attention and delay in acknowledgment was very unprofessional and left a sour note .

Despite this lapse in customer service, the overall dining experience at Fuji Sushi was positive. With some improvements in consistency and attentiveness from the staff, it has the potential to be an exceptional dining destination.

Went there yesterday night we were the second table in the door from dinner opening first we were seated and got our drinks put our first tickets in right away the kitchen food came out really quick but the sushi was moving so slow because of the servers i watch the sushi bar fill up all the way multple times and while we ordered first recieved our sushi last watching everyone get there food while waiting close to a hour for the sushi to arrive i was giving other people food multple times and made a pile of empty plates to where the waiting couldnt take them in one trip overall a very bad experience dealing with lazy waiters talking instead of serving and paying attention to the customer and then proceed to ask for tips when its time for us to finaly pay after being there for 2 hours (first our waiting for food) will never be returning again definitely not worth my money or gas to watch people talk all night

I have been eating here for approximately 3 years. This place has been very good for a long time. The last visit was a big disappointment. The tempura shrimp is now a heavy breaded shrimp, that has a surprisingly tough texture. Each roll that my wife and I ordered were very bland and flavorless. The restaurant was 3/4 empty at 12:30 (usually full). I am guessing because the food quality has declined.

When you sit for over an hour before someone even comes to pick up the first order of food and you don't even get half of it it's very disappointing. I understand it's that all you can eat and they're normally busy but there is only three tables in there. And the service was subpar

Melody up front was the most rude person I’ve experienced in a long while. We have loved coming here for so long and we always take the not so short drive to come to this location. But something is happening with the staff… they are short with everyone and angry. Like a “why are you bothering me” mentality. Do not ask melody anything at all she will make you feel like such a bother.

I would not recommend this place to anyone:

1. The host as we entered the restaurant was not at all cognizant of what was being said when told how many people were in our party.

2. The service was horrible with the waiters playing grab a** in the dinning area (which was packed).

3. They had three waiters and two people bringing out food. The waiters were only there to take and receive orders and bus tables while the other two were in charge of bringing out food, this caused a lot of confusion between the waiters and the food service personnel. We waited 45 minutes after ordering to get soup and 30 minutes after that to receive food.

4. The service line was DISGUSTING, they had the food coming out the kitchen stacked on top of each other like they were building towers out of cooked meals. There was no organization and there was no space to put food for them as they came out the kitchen.

5. They had no management at the store, the waiter said he was the manager and he was the same kid that was playing grab a** in the packed dinning area. The host told us that they had no management at the restaurant for the night.

I 100% thought the food was all frozen food and not fresh, I did not enjoy one dish they served, waste of money, go to a actual Japanese steakhouse or hibachi if you want this food. You’ll pay the same regardless, I was charged extra for food that I did eat but the waiter swore I didn’t eat.

Great concept for a restaurant but horrible design, I’ll never go back and would not want to see any one waste their money there either.

The food was great. Especially for an all you can eat place. Just avoid the hibachi salmon and steak side dish. Doesn't come out well for whatever reason. Food came out at a reasonable pace, too. Especially for a busy Saturday night.

Service, though, is a different story. I'm not sure if it's because my group was a party of 6 and gratuity is automatically applied (which didn't bother us) or if our server didn't care all around, but she was terrible.

Took our drink orders, then just chatted by the bar and took forever to bring them out. She didn't check on the table once and had to wave her down a couple of times to get anything. She grabbed our dirty plates and dishes once and let the other staff do the rest, it seemed. Finally, when we finished, we waited for about 15-20 mins for our check. When she never came, we had to tell another staff member we were ready (who interrupted me before I could finish talking and said "yeah yeah sure sure yeah"). She then didn't even ask how we were doing the bills and just brought out 6 checks and had an attitude when we said we needed some combined.

I've read other reviews, and it doesn't seem like this is a one-off thing. Service just isn't great here. If they can improve that part of the restaurant, then it'd be a great place to eat.

If you are claustrophobic, the tables are really close together. The floor is also
slippery, so be careful, Parking was a nightmare, but I understood, once I got inside. The place was PACKED!

the wait!- The small portions are perfect if you want to try something new, and the all-you-can-eat concept is great! The rice was flavorful and the crabs rangoons were crunchy! That cucumber salad was crunchy and tasty!

I was excited to try this place, but didn’t get the chance to eat. That’s why I gave it one star. We went during lunch time, we got a table quickly, and I don’t mind waiting; none of this was a problem. The problem was after we had only gotten our drinks, I watched our waitress proceed to pop a pimple on another waitress’s arm right there between the sushi counter and the to go where the entire dining room could clearly see. She just dropped off our drinks and walked away, we were ready to order apps and our lunch. So we walked right out because that’s absolutely disgusting.

The restaurant seemed very dirty. I felt sick that I stayed and ate there. The food was awful. The cold sushi was room temp and tasteless and the hot sushi was greasy and tasted like old grease. They did give us a 50% discount. I will never go back there.

Service has declined a lot since our last visit, not friendly staff, very slow and I hope I am wrong that they choose who they serve. Waited for some 20 - 30 mins for our orders, but the table next to us had food overflowing their table. Never going back again. We still gave them a good parting tip.

We used to come here a lot and loved it. But recently it’s going down hill. They seem short staffed, and the staff that is here doesn’t seem happy. The place also needs a deep clean. They haven’t dusted their lights since god knows when. Can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like. Hopefully they can come back from this.

We come here a lot. The food is either really good or kind of disappointing. The service is always lacking. However we keep coming backing because you can't beat the price and sometimes it's super super good! Even when the food is a little disappointing I still think it's worth the price for all you can eat hibachi and sushi. The ordering and serving method is super interesting and it beats the traditional buffet any day.

The experience I had at this restaurant was awesome. I tried sushi ( Lobster Sushi ) for the first time and it was SOO DELICIOUS! It's also a different unique way to order, not your ordinary restaurant. I definitely give it a 10/10. Definitely a place to visit!

I Use to love this place. Service was horrible. We were there almost two hours. Never came to give us more drinks. Not once did she clear dishes from table. We waited a long time for check. We had to ask another server she finally came with check. The steak was like shoe leather. I was so disappointed. Most of the waitresses and waiters are new. Only saw two thatbhave been there awhile and are excellant.

So I have to start by saying that one of my favorite all you can eat sushi buffets is Miya Sushi as we have frequented them often. We tried Fuji tonight and we were blown away by not only the delicious food, but the assortment if options for the better price. The environment was very calm and inviting and the staff was extremely pleasant and this place has quickly become the place we now will plan to return moving forward. Thanks again!

The food is great and only twice we went there the service was terrible…. The waitress never appeared at our table and it was kind of annoying. But mostly it is great. Also annoying that is is always packed and you can wait for an hour to get a table.

The food is good but the service is terrible. The servers kept bringing the wrong food to not only our table but to other tables. Original order seemed to have gotten lost so we had to order again. We eventually received our order TWICE. Felt the need to eat everything but didn't. What a waste of food.

Everything tasted so plain and horrible. Got multiple wrong items from what we ordered. Took forever to actually get our items. Not much variety. Every surface was disgustingly dirty. Not worth it.. Much rather Miya sushi, way friendlier staff, better food, fast, and just an all around better experience!

It was my 2nd time on Monday. It took almost 40 mins for my first round of plates and I waited for over 25 mins for the check. My first experienced wasn't has bad but the food quality and the wait time was rough. I'll try again. For sushi I recommend this place but for other kitchen dishes, I would avoid.

Quality of the sushi (salmon and tuna) is just okay. Special note on yellowtail is quite bad. Their tempura is NOT tempura, they are just fried veggies. In general, the rice portion is big compared to the thin cut of the fish.

Server was confused on what food belongs to which customers….and the worst part is: the server said NO to us when we asked for more hot water for our tea at 915pm.

The sushi is delicious but if you get there 45 minutes before the lunch is over, be prepared for slow service or being ignored, other servers taking sauces off your table to prep them for the dinner crowd even if you’re using them.
If 45 minutes is not enough time to eat, they shouldn’t sit people.
After being sat, we had to wait 10 minutes for a server to come and ask us what we wanted to drink and we couldn’t order until they came back.
This was the second time we had come and this happened both times that’s why I’m saying something.

Been coming here for years and that may be coming to an end now. Newer staff is surprisingly rude and outright ignored my boyfriend and I for almost 40 minutes despite us flagging several people down eventually just to get a sauce tray for soy sauce/yum yum sauce on the table. Zero refills on our waters the entire duration of our dinner

Food quality has also massively gone down, chicken was like hard rubber, fried rice had no flavor. Also may just be me going crazy, but the yum yum sauce tasted/looked heavily watered down and barely stuck to the food.

It's normally pretty hard to make me consider someone giving bad service, but between the partially inedible food (which hasn't been an issue before) and being made to feel like a burden for just asking for something that is required to eat the good, it's not looking like this place will be around for much longer unless things change (for the better).

Everyone has their bad/off days, but I've got maybe one more shot in me before I give up on Fuji Sushi.

This used to be a great place. However, service has declined drastically.

I used to work in the restaurant industry, and a few things started to drive me away. First, with the photo provided, we waited 45 minutes to be seated, while more than 3 tables available, not to mention the attitude I am receiving as I was seated.

Update:
We have now been seated over 30 minutes, half the place empty, and no food in sight. The young lady taking order sheets is super rude.

Ok, so after stalking their reviews… I went ahead and went last night. Let’s talk about first impressions. Someone dropped a chocolate milkshake right in front of the door and everyone was stepping in or on it. I told the host, and he said “we don’t have time to clean it up”. HUGE RED FLAG”.

We had to wait for an hr to be seated, then sat for about 30 mins. Staff was nice, just very unorganized. Food was ok. It is VERY cramped in there. Overall, it was just ok. We aren’t in a rush to get back anytime soon. Good luck!!

Used to be great, but service is so-so, and recently they stopped carrying Sriracha sauce, so they are using a Tabasco-like hot sauce on Dynamite rolls, etc. It’s gross!

I don't come here often but I enjoy it when I do. You can't really go wrong with anything on their menu. I only have 2 minor things that I dislike. They are the amount of space and their order system. Personally I just feel too crowded and like there's a bunch of chaos. I think their style of placing an order is pretty cool. But the issue I have is with their organization. I was in a group of 12 and everybody else had received 2 or 3 of their items within about 10 minutes. Not until about 25 minutes after ordering (same time as everybody else), I finally got my first plate. It's a bit annoying but after a while things did speed up. Their food quality more than makes up for these things tho.

I really like this place. But it can be a bit chaotic during the rushes. The staff has never been an issue, and they try to keep up and do a decent enough job of it. I would prefer to recommend you not go there because then I get better saying when I go but you should try it out.

I have visited this establishment many times and can see a rapid decline in service and quality. My recent visit will be my last. We waited 45 minutes to be seated, come to find out they had multiple tables available they just weren’t seating guests. Ordered our food and it came without wasabi, I asked the server for some, he said “ we don’t have any wasabi.” I had to keep asking people to finally get some. The food quality was substandard for everyone at my table and we could never get a drink refill. You would think for $85 we could enjoy a meal. So disappointed, I used to really like it there.

Use to love this place food is good but most recent visit all staff members would not even acknowledge me standing in there waiting area to be seated for over 10 minutes, it was at 255pm and I realize there is a closure at 330pm for lunch to dinner transition but when we asked a worker, that was clearly trying to ignore us, if we could be seated we were told the last call is 3:15 for orders and we told her that’s fine as we just wanted to put a few tickets in for a quick late lunch and be on our way, and we continued to stand there for another few minutes while she continued to ignore us until we got fed up and asked again with no clear answer from the staff we decided to leave, food here has been great in the past but most likely will not be back as I have had other run ins at this same location with grumpy and unhelpful staff.

When we walked in the front door, I told my husband this was probably the last time we would eat at this restaurant.
We have eaten here many times, but after today will not go back. Upon arrival we waited to be greeted as they had a sign that said “please wait to be seated”
Several employees walked by us without acknowledging us. Eventually a girl in jeans and graphic tee came to the cluttered host stand and looked at us, as if we were an inconvenience. She did not say anything but waited for us to speak to her.
She gathered the menus and took us to a table, then decided on a different table, without mentioning that to us.
Once we sat she walked away and then came back, suggesting that we should order drinks from her (again no words spoken)
This was not the only unhappy employee, everyone working seemed miserable and some had headphones in their ears.
We ordered our first round (appetizers) which took about 20 minutes to arrive (fried dumplings and egg rolls) no sauces came with anything and it was impossible to get any employees attention to get dishes for soy sauce.
All the fried menu items were over cooked in old oil and gross.
We ordered a spicy crab salad that came at room temperature on a warm plate. I also ordered hibachi steak, it came with a massive hunk of salmon on the plate. The steak was terrible.
We decided not to order any raw fish as to not expose ourselves to any food borne illness as the sanitation practices have also gone down hill.
This restaurant may be beyond repair. Don’t go here. They should shut it down.
